00:00:00 --> 00:00:10
			Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa salatu salam, ala man, Camilla and
Johanna, how you recall Kyla, he

00:00:11 --> 00:00:22
			was he was such a biggie woman. He was telling me so let me Dean Allahumma alumna, Magan Femina
winter I know the man was it dinner?

00:00:23 --> 00:00:38
			Well, Elina waters. Okay today we're Elina LaBelle. Whedon was looking at Tina was the only man even
just me. I would love for you to be owner. So what that stood out to you more from A to Lottie wa
barakato.

00:00:42 --> 00:00:48
			Last week, we looked at some of the minor offenses or what

00:00:50 --> 00:00:57
			the minor military campaigns that took place after the Battle of oide,

00:00:58 --> 00:01:06
			leading up to the next major battle, and that is the battle of an Amazon or an Hunter.

00:01:08 --> 00:01:09
			And so we covered

00:01:11 --> 00:01:12
			the battles of

00:01:14 --> 00:01:15
			that ugly car.

00:01:17 --> 00:01:21
			We spoke about that last week, as well as beggar Elmo aid.

00:01:23 --> 00:01:28
			And the third one was Duma Elgin day.

00:01:30 --> 00:01:32
			There's one last reservoir

00:01:34 --> 00:01:38
			that remains to be discussed before moving on to

00:01:40 --> 00:01:42
			the Battle of his app.

00:01:43 --> 00:01:45
			And this reservoir is extremely important

00:01:47 --> 00:01:50
			because of certain events that occurred.

00:01:51 --> 00:01:54
			On the way back from this episode,

00:01:55 --> 00:01:56
			it's all this

00:01:59 --> 00:02:04
			campaign is known as it was what Benny, animus, Pollock,

00:02:05 --> 00:02:08
			or was what, more or easier.

00:02:12 --> 00:02:14
			This was what took place

00:02:15 --> 00:02:19
			in Chardon of the fifth year of the Hijra

00:02:22 --> 00:02:23
			a few months prior

00:02:25 --> 00:02:27
			to the Battle of an zap.

00:02:29 --> 00:02:37
			And so this tribe of Ben Amos Pollock, they were a sub tribe of

00:02:38 --> 00:02:40
			the bigger tribe of Hosea.

00:02:41 --> 00:02:43
			And they lived in the area

00:02:44 --> 00:02:48
			between Mecca and Medina, but closer to Mecca.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:58
			And so they were on a major trade route between Mecca and Medina.

00:03:00 --> 00:03:06
			And so their leader and had it even earlier, the rod was mobilizing his people,

00:03:07 --> 00:03:14
			along with other tribes to proceed to Medina and attack the Muslims.

00:03:17 --> 00:03:18
			And we mentioned

00:03:19 --> 00:03:27
			that this was the same reason for the other battles that we spoke about last week. There was an
imminent threat

00:03:28 --> 00:03:35
			from these tribes, and so the prophets of Allah already was on would go before they could come, he
would go to them.

00:03:36 --> 00:03:37
			And so once again,

00:03:39 --> 00:03:45
			with regards to these people, but also Lysol Selim gets word about their plans.

00:03:47 --> 00:03:51
			And so he sets out with an army of 700 men

00:03:52 --> 00:03:53
			and 30 horsemen

00:03:54 --> 00:03:55
			to attack them.

00:03:58 --> 00:03:59
			However, this time,

00:04:01 --> 00:04:06
			in the ranks of the Muslims were a large number of them went after

00:04:08 --> 00:04:09
			the hypocrites.

00:04:10 --> 00:04:12
			They decided to go along

00:04:13 --> 00:04:14
			because they had noticed a pattern

00:04:16 --> 00:04:20
			that the Muslims are constantly winning battles.

00:04:21 --> 00:04:23
			They're going and

00:04:24 --> 00:04:30
			you know, attacking these various tribes and they're coming back home with a lot of spoils of war.

00:04:32 --> 00:04:33
			And so

00:04:34 --> 00:04:36
			they wanted a share of it.

00:04:38 --> 00:04:41
			And never did such a large number of them

00:04:43 --> 00:04:45
			participate in a battle before this.

00:04:50 --> 00:04:54
			And so, also why so seldom goes to these people

00:04:55 --> 00:04:56
			and he

00:04:58 --> 00:04:59
			catches them by surprise.

00:05:01 --> 00:05:03
			He catches them off guard.

00:05:05 --> 00:05:13
			And so they didn't even have a chance to come up with their army and to basically even defend
themselves.

00:05:14 --> 00:05:18
			And so they when they saw the army of the Muslims, they ran off.

00:05:20 --> 00:05:24
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was able to take their wealth.

00:05:26 --> 00:05:33
			And their families, their women were taken as captives and slaves.

00:05:34 --> 00:05:44
			Abdullah Ibrahim Rhodiola. When he was in this army, he says, the prophets are loving it will attack
them while they were unaware. This is embodied in

00:05:46 --> 00:05:48
			the Prophet SAW Selim attack them while they were

00:05:50 --> 00:05:58
			unaware they were caught by surprise, while their livestock, their sheep and their herds were
drinking water.

00:06:00 --> 00:06:04
			He says so he killed some of their combatants

00:06:05 --> 00:06:09
			and he took their families as slaves

00:06:17 --> 00:06:23
			now it's all happened that we have a large number of slaves

00:06:24 --> 00:06:25
			who have been taken

00:06:26 --> 00:06:30
			in this campaign, I shall not be long behind her she says

00:06:31 --> 00:06:37
			when the messenger of Allah distributed the captives from bunny almost bonnet,

00:06:38 --> 00:06:40
			the daughter of and had it

00:06:41 --> 00:06:44
			even in the stomach, who was we said he was a leader.

00:06:45 --> 00:06:49
			His daughter was also taken as a captain.

00:06:51 --> 00:06:56
			So when the price of them was distributing these captains among the companions,

00:06:57 --> 00:07:02
			she was awarded to tablet in case eventual mass produced what was

00:07:07 --> 00:07:13
			it so this is the daughter of their leader, and her name was Dwayne Iya. Beetle. Hi.

00:07:16 --> 00:07:18
			Hi, Sean all the love my hand her she says

00:07:20 --> 00:07:23
			Joy area, she didn't want to remain as a slave.

00:07:24 --> 00:07:24
			And so

00:07:26 --> 00:07:35
			she made a more Qatada with sabich in place, and more character is basically a contract

00:07:36 --> 00:07:37
			between

00:07:38 --> 00:07:41
			a slave and his master,

00:07:42 --> 00:07:45
			which would allow the slave to be free

00:07:46 --> 00:07:48
			by paying a certain amount of money.

00:07:50 --> 00:07:52
			So basically, you buy your freedom.

00:07:54 --> 00:07:56
			I follow the along behind her she says.

00:07:57 --> 00:07:59
			Jewelry it was a very

00:08:00 --> 00:08:02
			beautiful and attractive woman.

00:08:04 --> 00:08:06
			Every man who saw her would fall for her.

00:08:07 --> 00:08:13
			She came to the Messenger of Allah to ask him for help. In preparing this contract.

00:08:14 --> 00:08:28
			I showed her the Allahu Anhu says, and I swear as soon as I saw her at the door of my room, I
disliked her right away. And I recognize that he saw a log rally or something would see in her what
I did.

00:08:30 --> 00:08:35
			And so I showed her the log behind her was saying that she felt jealous.

00:08:36 --> 00:08:43
			And she was worried that if Rasul Allah is the One Who said I'm Caesar, he may want to marry her.

00:08:46 --> 00:08:48
			So Julia, she enters.

00:08:50 --> 00:08:57
			And she says, Oh messenger of Allah. I am Julia, the daughter of a herring, the leader of his
people.

00:08:59 --> 00:09:04
			You can see my Unfortunate Plight, I have fallen

00:09:05 --> 00:09:13
			as a captive and I have been awarded to dabit have in place, but I have prepared a contract to free
myself.

00:09:15 --> 00:09:18
			I have come to you for your help in writing out this contract.

00:09:21 --> 00:09:23
			So Rasulullah salAllahu alayhi wa sallam says to her

00:09:26 --> 00:09:28
			would you prefer something better?

00:09:30 --> 00:09:32
			She said, What could that be? or Mr. Avila,

00:09:33 --> 00:09:34
			he replied,

00:09:35 --> 00:09:39
			that I pay the price of your freedom on your behalf.

00:09:41 --> 00:09:42
			And I marry you.

00:09:45 --> 00:09:49
			So she said yes. Or Mr. Avila. I agree.

00:09:50 --> 00:09:55
			And so the very thing that I showed on the one right now was a freedom ended up happening.

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59
			And so she was among the wives.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02
			Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:10:03 --> 00:10:05
			I hate you shall know the Allahu Anhu then said,

00:10:07 --> 00:10:11
			the people now had heard that the Messenger of Allah had married lady and

00:10:13 --> 00:10:14
			so as a result,

00:10:15 --> 00:10:20
			they released all of the captives that were in their possession and set them free.

00:10:22 --> 00:10:23
			And they said,

00:10:24 --> 00:10:25
			these are now

00:10:26 --> 00:10:33
			the relatives of the Messenger of Allah through marriage. They are his in laws.

00:10:35 --> 00:10:47
			And so they felt that it's disrespectful, that we have slaves who are in laws of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And so due to her marriage

00:10:48 --> 00:10:51
			100 members of the new animus Pollock,

00:10:53 --> 00:10:56
			who had fallen, and slaves were now freed.

00:10:58 --> 00:11:01
			Aisha says we did not see any woman

00:11:02 --> 00:11:07
			greater than Julia, who brought blessings al baraka to her people.

00:11:10 --> 00:11:13
			Now, it's mentioned that her father and Herod

00:11:14 --> 00:11:21
			who was the leader of his people, who was the one who was trying to mobilize a force to go and
attack

00:11:22 --> 00:11:27
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. It's mentioned that he later Later on he ended up

00:11:29 --> 00:11:31
			coming to Medina to free her.

00:11:32 --> 00:11:40
			So when he comes, and he sits with the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam gives him down.

00:11:42 --> 00:11:44
			And he ended up re embracing Islam.

00:11:46 --> 00:11:49
			And so, from this weekend, see

00:11:51 --> 00:11:57
			how rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his marriage to joy Leah was strategic.

00:11:59 --> 00:12:00
			We mentioned this previously,

00:12:02 --> 00:12:04
			when we looked at some of the other marriages,

00:12:05 --> 00:12:09
			because the critics of Islam, like to paint this picture

00:12:10 --> 00:12:26
			of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam has been, you know, a womanizer and just wanting to marry
women, for the sake of his pleasures. But we see when we look at each and every single marriage,
there's something else behind it.

00:12:27 --> 00:12:29
			And so, even with this,

00:12:30 --> 00:12:31
			even here with this one,

00:12:33 --> 00:12:36
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was thinking long term.

00:12:39 --> 00:12:44
			Here we have a hostile people, they are hostile to the Muslims

00:12:48 --> 00:12:50
			how can we change that?

00:12:52 --> 00:12:55
			So here the Prophet SAW Selim, he saw an opportunity

00:12:56 --> 00:12:59
			if I marry the daughter of their leader,

00:13:00 --> 00:13:03
			then this will change everything and indeed it did.

00:13:06 --> 00:13:10
			You know, all the entire tribe ends up embracing Islam

00:13:12 --> 00:13:14
			even their leader

00:13:21 --> 00:13:22
			now

00:13:25 --> 00:13:27
			as they are now coming back to

00:13:29 --> 00:13:33
			El Medina, on the way back from this visa

00:13:36 --> 00:13:40
			tensions start to rise between the sahaba.

00:13:46 --> 00:13:49
			And so remourban Kebab robiola well,

00:13:50 --> 00:13:51
			he had a servant

00:13:54 --> 00:13:56
			and this servant of his was from the Mahajan.

00:13:58 --> 00:14:00
			So on the way back they had stopped by a well

00:14:02 --> 00:14:03
			and

00:14:04 --> 00:14:05
			he had gone to

00:14:07 --> 00:14:08
			fetch some water

00:14:09 --> 00:14:11
			and there was a large crowd around the well.

00:14:13 --> 00:14:19
			And the servant of Roma, Bob, he ends up in an altercation with

00:14:20 --> 00:14:21
			one of the Mossad.

00:14:22 --> 00:14:24
			Some pushing and shoving happened.

00:14:25 --> 00:14:27
			And so the Ansari

00:14:28 --> 00:14:31
			he called out to the Ansari said, Yeah, little unsalted

00:14:33 --> 00:14:36
			to gang up against this Mohajer.

00:14:37 --> 00:14:42
			And then the musaajid he calls out to them who had your own? He says, Yeah, dill mohajir.

00:14:43 --> 00:14:45
			And so a fight was about to break up.

00:14:47 --> 00:14:53
			But then Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came in and mediate it between now

00:14:54 --> 00:14:59
			and so he would never allow such things to happen. And we saw previously

00:15:00 --> 00:15:05
			how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam dealt with similar situations.

00:15:08 --> 00:15:15
			And so he would immediately come and step in and stop them before the fitna escalates.

00:15:17 --> 00:15:22
			But now the news of this incident reaches you.

00:15:23 --> 00:15:24
			It reaches

00:15:26 --> 00:15:27
			the head of the mafia goon

00:15:28 --> 00:15:30
			Abdullah ibn obey even saloon.

00:15:32 --> 00:15:33
			And he was with them

00:15:34 --> 00:15:41
			in this battle, and what did we say that there was a large number of women feel cool, present.

00:15:47 --> 00:15:48
			And so when he heard about this,

00:15:51 --> 00:15:53
			he said about the massage room?

00:15:55 --> 00:15:56
			Did they really cause this?

00:15:58 --> 00:16:04
			They challenge us and outnumber us in our own land. Remember,

00:16:05 --> 00:16:07
			Abdullah ibn obey us from Medina.

00:16:09 --> 00:16:14
			And so he has this envy and enmity for the Mohandro

00:16:15 --> 00:16:24
			that they have come here. And they're now overtaking us. They're becoming more powerful than us. We
are the real people of Medina.

00:16:25 --> 00:16:28
			He says they challenge us and outnumber us in our own land.

00:16:29 --> 00:16:39
			I swear by Allah, the old saying applies to us. And these people have Koresh fat in your dog and it
will eat you.

00:16:42 --> 00:16:43
			He says,

00:16:44 --> 00:16:46
			goes on to say, I swear

00:16:48 --> 00:16:50
			when we return to El Medina

00:16:54 --> 00:16:56
			the one who is more powerful, the one who is stronger,

00:16:58 --> 00:17:03
			he will drive out the one who is inferior, the one who is weaker.

00:17:07 --> 00:17:14
			He goes on to say, see what you have done to yourselves. You let them settle among you and share
your property with them.

00:17:16 --> 00:17:21
			I swear if you had kept your property from them, they would have gone somewhere else.

00:17:23 --> 00:17:24
			And so

00:17:25 --> 00:17:28
			hear Abdullah, they were saying that

00:17:29 --> 00:17:39
			the Assad they had allowed the MaHA Giroud to come into Medina and help them and then now the MaHA
Judo are taking advantage. And

00:17:40 --> 00:17:41
			they are

00:17:42 --> 00:17:46
			you know overpowering the unsought the very ones who help them.

00:17:52 --> 00:17:53
			And he also said

00:17:55 --> 00:17:58
			that we should not spend on them anymore.

00:18:00 --> 00:18:06
			We should stop helping them stop giving them our support and our money and our businesses

00:18:07 --> 00:18:08
			so that

00:18:10 --> 00:18:13
			they end up leaving from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:18:16 --> 00:18:21
			So one of the young companions, Zaid ibn Agha Khan, he heard

00:18:22 --> 00:18:24
			these words from Abdullah ibn obey.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:27
			So he went

00:18:28 --> 00:18:33
			and immediately conveyed the news to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:18:36 --> 00:18:45
			So now, some men from the Ansara who are also present with Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam.

00:18:46 --> 00:18:59
			They interjected when they heard this, and they said, perhaps this young boy, he mistook what was
said, or he didn't hear it correctly. Basically, they were trying to defend

00:19:00 --> 00:19:03
			of the law even over the years or some of the companions.

00:19:05 --> 00:19:06
			In another narration

00:19:07 --> 00:19:19
			when Zaid reported the news to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he called Abdullah ibn od
along with some of his companions from the graphical

00:19:20 --> 00:19:24
			and he asked them about it. Did you really say this?

00:19:25 --> 00:19:26
			So

00:19:27 --> 00:19:29
			they swore that they never said such a thing.

00:19:32 --> 00:19:40
			Zaid, he says, sold rasool Allah He sold a loved one and he was seldom considered me to have lied.

00:19:41 --> 00:19:42
			And he ended up believing now.

00:19:45 --> 00:19:52
			He says, After that, I fell into a state of depression, like never before, and I stayed at home.

00:19:53 --> 00:19:57
			My uncle asked me, he said, Why did he do that?

00:20:00 --> 00:20:03
			Why did you invoke this curse?

00:20:04 --> 00:20:07
			And have rasool Allah is Allah Allah when Allah was going to consider you to be a liar?

00:20:11 --> 00:20:13
			He says, shortly after that,

00:20:14 --> 00:20:17
			ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada revealed Surah Talmud.

00:20:20 --> 00:20:22
			What does Allah say in surah? talamona If you're

00:20:25 --> 00:20:30
			either adjure or Toluna. If you're gonna call Luna shadow in NACA, no rasool Allah.

00:20:32 --> 00:20:36
			When the Moon Alfie Kohn come when the hypocrites come to you,

00:20:37 --> 00:20:40
			or Prophet, they see, bear witness.

00:20:42 --> 00:20:46
			We there witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah.

00:20:48 --> 00:20:50
			And Allah knows that you are his messenger

00:20:53 --> 00:20:56
			Allah who he or she had to inhale Munna if you've been on a candy bar,

00:20:57 --> 00:21:02
			and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites they are truly liars.

00:21:03 --> 00:21:14
			It does Hulu Amen junetta. For so do honey Sabir Allah in himself and I can we are known. They have
made their false oats.

00:21:15 --> 00:21:17
			You know, whenever they make a claim,

00:21:18 --> 00:21:26
			they swear by Allah. Allah says, they make their false old oats as a shield,

00:21:28 --> 00:21:36
			hindering others from the Path of Allah. evil indeed is what they do. They use these false oaths to
protect themselves.

00:21:38 --> 00:21:44
			Because that's what they did. When the Prophet SAW Selim asked them Did you say these words they
swore by Allah

00:21:46 --> 00:21:49
			they swore by Allah so that the prophets of salaam would believe them.

00:21:51 --> 00:22:06
			Allah says Daddy can be unknown M and also maca follow for to be INR Colombian film now you've got
all this is because first they believed that they disbelieved. Therefore their hearts have been
sealed.

00:22:07 --> 00:22:08
			And so they don't understand

00:22:09 --> 00:22:30
			what either are at home to Ijebu Can I just move on? We're in your Kulu Desna Alico, Liam can I know
whom who should boom send another? Yeah, so Buddha could also hurt him Allah Him whom will do move
on don't home, alternate hula hoop and nine for cool when you see them,

00:22:31 --> 00:22:33
			their appearance impresses you.

00:22:35 --> 00:22:39
			And when they speak, you listen to their impressive speech.

00:22:42 --> 00:22:45
			But they are just like worthless pieces of wood,

00:22:46 --> 00:22:48
			leaning against a wall.

00:22:49 --> 00:22:52
			They think that every cry is against them.

00:22:53 --> 00:22:55
			And then Allah says they are the enemy.

00:22:57 --> 00:22:58
			So beware of them.

00:23:00 --> 00:23:22
			Nowhere else in the Quran does Allah say they are the enemy about any of Allah's enemies, from among
the machinery cool. The Jews, the Christians, nowhere does Allah say they are the enemy. But Allah
says it here a boo, that will not feel good. May Allah condemn them, how can they be diluted? From
the truth

00:23:25 --> 00:23:27
			until the end of the surah.

00:23:34 --> 00:23:36
			XID over the log when he says,

00:23:38 --> 00:23:39
			when he heard these ayat

00:23:42 --> 00:23:44
			or when these ayat were revealed,

00:23:46 --> 00:23:48
			the Messenger of Allah right away sent

00:23:49 --> 00:23:56
			someone to tell me about these ayat. And to give me this news,

00:23:57 --> 00:24:04
			apt to give me the message from rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the Allah has believed
in you Ozy

00:24:06 --> 00:24:08
			Allah has believed in you Ozy

00:24:13 --> 00:24:17
			now one of the companions will see it in holder you're probably one when

00:24:18 --> 00:24:20
			he was from the unsought

00:24:23 --> 00:24:30
			and so he was one of the people of Abdullah if and obey from the same tribe.

00:24:31 --> 00:24:35
			Rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went to him and said, Didn't you hear what your friend
said?

00:24:36 --> 00:24:37
			He asked which rent?

00:24:39 --> 00:24:41
			The Prophet SAW Selim said Abdullah bin OB.

00:24:42 --> 00:24:48
			So we'll say the rally Allah when he asked also lysosome what he said, after the Prophet also told
him

00:24:50 --> 00:24:59
			what he had said who said responded, Well, I swear by Allah or messenger of Allah. It is you who
will drive him out if you wish.

00:25:01 --> 00:25:03
			He is certainly

00:25:05 --> 00:25:06
			the inferior one.

00:25:07 --> 00:25:16
			And you are the superior one. Because what did until even obey say? He said when we go back to
Medina

00:25:18 --> 00:25:20
			the stronger one

00:25:21 --> 00:25:29
			and eyes will drive out from Medina and then the humiliated one, the inferior one.

00:25:30 --> 00:25:41
			So he was talking about himself. When we go back to Medina, I'm going to show who the stronger one
is who the more mightier one is. I'm going to drive him out of Medina.

00:25:42 --> 00:25:43
			Right these were his words.

00:25:44 --> 00:26:03
			So I will say to Robbie, Allah who and when he heard this, he said, I swear by Allah, or messenger
of Allah, it is you who will drive him out if you wish, he certainly is an adult, and you are an
Earth. But then he said, O Messenger of Allah, Be kind to him.

00:26:04 --> 00:26:05
			I swear by Allah.

00:26:10 --> 00:26:12
			Allah brought you to us.

00:26:14 --> 00:26:21
			When his people were stringing pearls, with which to make a crown for him.

00:26:24 --> 00:26:27
			He was ready to become the leader of his people

00:26:29 --> 00:26:35
			who say it says, So, he considers that you have robbed him of his of his kingdom.

00:26:36 --> 00:26:38
			And so this is the problem.

00:26:40 --> 00:26:47
			This was the whole reason for the enmity of the Muna FICO and especially under like a bit obey.

00:26:50 --> 00:26:51
			And this is the problem whenever

00:26:52 --> 00:26:54
			people have authority

00:26:55 --> 00:26:56
			whenever they have money,

00:26:57 --> 00:26:59
			when they feel that Islam

00:27:00 --> 00:27:05
			is coming and it will challenge and threaten their authority and their wealth.

00:27:07 --> 00:27:08
			They become hypocrites.

00:27:11 --> 00:27:17
			And so this is only one example. Otherwise, history repeats itself.

00:27:18 --> 00:27:21
			So anyways, Allah subhanahu wa ala.

00:27:22 --> 00:27:24
			He reveals a lot about this incident.

00:27:25 --> 00:27:26
			Again,

00:27:27 --> 00:27:43
			in Surah Al Munna feel cool. What does Allah say? Human lady Rania Kowloon and Atul fugu Allah
Ananda rasool Allah He had young folk do while Allah He has enough similarity we'll all want a
kinder Mona feel cleaner now you have

00:27:45 --> 00:27:48
			the the hypocrites are the ones who say to one another.

00:27:50 --> 00:27:51
			This is what they were saying.

00:27:53 --> 00:27:56
			Do not spend anything on those people meaning the Mohandro

00:27:58 --> 00:28:02
			who are with the Messenger of Allah, so that they break away from him

00:28:03 --> 00:28:04
			so that

00:28:05 --> 00:28:15
			they end up leaving him. Allah says, but to Allah alone belong to treasuries of the heavens and the
earth. Yet the hypocrites do not understand.

00:28:17 --> 00:28:18
			Then Allah says,

00:28:19 --> 00:28:25
			You're cool Yoku Luna Raja Ana de la Medina de la regional high zoomin. Hello.

00:28:28 --> 00:28:28
			They say

00:28:30 --> 00:28:31
			if we returned to Medina,

00:28:33 --> 00:28:34
			the more honorable one

00:28:36 --> 00:28:39
			allies will definitely drive out.

00:28:41 --> 00:28:42
			The inferior one

00:28:44 --> 00:29:01
			what Allah He laser to Will you Rasool E. What do you mean? When Kinal Munna if you've been on the
moon, but all honor and power belongs to Allah, His messenger and the believers, yet the hypocrites
do not.

00:29:03 --> 00:29:05
			And so it was

00:29:08 --> 00:29:10
			about this incident that these ayat were revealed.

00:29:12 --> 00:29:15
			Now also why he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:29:16 --> 00:29:19
			being the leader that he was, and

00:29:21 --> 00:29:28
			coming up with solutions to problems. He immediately told the army to pack up and leave.

00:29:30 --> 00:29:31
			He said, Let's go.

00:29:33 --> 00:29:34
			Let's get moving.

00:29:36 --> 00:29:44
			And so the wisdom behind this action of his was so that the people don't preoccupy themselves with
these rumors.

00:29:45 --> 00:29:47
			Because whenever

00:29:49 --> 00:29:50
			people are busy with

00:29:51 --> 00:29:56
			or whenever they're not busy with good, they're going to be busy with evil.

00:29:58 --> 00:29:59
			And so since this

00:30:00 --> 00:30:04
			fitna was causing, you know a lot of talk and rumors.

00:30:05 --> 00:30:09
			Rasul Allah has also told the army to pack up and leave

00:30:10 --> 00:30:11
			it. So

00:30:12 --> 00:30:14
			it's mentioned that they marched for an entire day,

00:30:15 --> 00:30:19
			then the entire night, and then they marched the next morning.

00:30:20 --> 00:30:26
			Until finally it was a little her time. And the heat was the Sun was at its peak.

00:30:28 --> 00:30:31
			And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them to stop.

00:30:32 --> 00:30:39
			They fell. As soon as they hit the ground, they fell asleep immediately because of how tired they
were.

00:30:40 --> 00:30:43
			And so, the press also did this on purpose.

00:30:45 --> 00:30:45
			Right.

00:30:47 --> 00:30:50
			So now, they don't have time to,

00:30:51 --> 00:30:56
			to be thinking about this issue. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam wanted them to forget about
it.

00:30:58 --> 00:30:59
			Now

00:31:02 --> 00:31:03
			what is very interesting here

00:31:05 --> 00:31:08
			is that Abdullah had been with a, he had a son.

00:31:09 --> 00:31:11
			And we mentioned him previously.

00:31:13 --> 00:31:16
			His son, was also named Abdullah.

00:31:18 --> 00:31:24
			However, he was not a hypocrite, but rather he was one of the companions.

00:31:26 --> 00:31:38
			In fact, he had also fought in the battle a battle. And we know that among the companions, the best
group are those who participated in the Battle of NEDAP. So he is a battery.

00:31:39 --> 00:31:44
			When he heard that will suit Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:31:47 --> 00:31:49
			might kill his father.

00:31:52 --> 00:31:54
			Because of what he had said,

00:31:55 --> 00:31:58
			he went to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and told him

00:32:00 --> 00:32:03
			all Messenger of Allah, I have heard that you want to kill my father,

00:32:05 --> 00:32:06
			if you plan to do so,

00:32:07 --> 00:32:09
			that led me to kill him.

00:32:11 --> 00:32:12
			He says,

00:32:13 --> 00:32:24
			the people of Hazaragi know that I am the most obedient towards my father, and I am the best among
them in obedience, and fulfilling the rights

00:32:25 --> 00:32:26
			of my father.

00:32:27 --> 00:32:32
			I don't want someone else to kill my father and then after that,

00:32:33 --> 00:32:45
			I see this man walking safely in the Chapin comes to me and causes me to kill him. And then I would
have killed a believer for the sake of a disbeliever

00:32:47 --> 00:32:54
			he says so, if you want to kill him, for Messenger of Allah, then order me to do it.

00:32:55 --> 00:32:56
			And I will do it

00:32:57 --> 00:33:06
			Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no, we will not kill him rather we will treat him
well in this dunya

00:33:09 --> 00:33:10
			then also Allah is also to make dua

00:33:12 --> 00:33:15
			for Abdullah the sun

00:33:21 --> 00:33:26
			and so, this is the first major incident that occurred on the way back from

00:33:28 --> 00:33:30
			this battle of the knee almost,

00:33:32 --> 00:33:47
			there is one more incident and it is a major incident. But because of how long the story is, we will
cover it next week in sha Allah with to add because there is an entire narration

00:33:48 --> 00:33:51
			by the companion that was involved

00:33:52 --> 00:33:57
			in this incident, near reading the story directly, first person

00:33:58 --> 00:34:04
			and so we'll go through that entire narration and the many lessons that can be learned from that
story.

00:34:06 --> 00:34:09
			So today, we will conclude here and move on to the lessons that we learned

00:34:10 --> 00:34:12
			from what we have covered tonight.

00:34:14 --> 00:34:15
			The first lesson that we learned

00:34:18 --> 00:34:20
			is the danger of the mafia

00:34:26 --> 00:34:31
			and so here we see the true face of the hypocrites.

00:34:35 --> 00:34:38
			The Munna fake is the one

00:34:40 --> 00:34:42
			who lives with the Muslims

00:34:43 --> 00:34:46
			and he acts like a Muslim

00:34:47 --> 00:34:49
			and he claims to be one of them.

00:34:50 --> 00:34:51
			But in his heart,

00:34:52 --> 00:34:53
			he is a carrier.

00:34:57 --> 00:34:58
			So this is their true face.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:12
			They act like they are one of us and that they are with us. But then they look for every opportunity
to harm us and disturb stir up enmity and fitna among us.

00:35:14 --> 00:35:16
			And that is why their danger

00:35:18 --> 00:35:21
			is more than the external enemy,

00:35:22 --> 00:35:24
			because they are the internal enemy.

00:35:26 --> 00:35:30
			And that's why Allah warns us from them. In the ayat

00:35:31 --> 00:35:35
			that we mentioned, when Allah says, Who will I do, Wolf?

00:35:37 --> 00:35:40
			They are the enemy, so beware of them. Like I said,

00:35:41 --> 00:35:44
			Allah did not use such a strong

00:35:46 --> 00:35:50
			freeze regarding any of our other enemies. Why?

00:35:51 --> 00:35:54
			Because their enmity is open.

00:35:56 --> 00:35:57
			Everyone can see it.

00:35:59 --> 00:36:00
			Right, the enmity of the kuffar

00:36:02 --> 00:36:12
			and then being open in waging their war against Islam and the Muslims. It doesn't need evidence,
it's clear. So you recognize your enemy.

00:36:13 --> 00:36:14
			But

00:36:15 --> 00:36:18
			the modality called are the enemy that you can easily recognize.

00:36:22 --> 00:36:24
			And so that's why Allah is warning us here.

00:36:25 --> 00:36:32
			And throughout the Quran in so many other verses, Allah has given us traits and characteristics of
the munafo.

00:36:36 --> 00:36:39
			More than any of our other enemies, why?

00:36:40 --> 00:36:44
			Because we need to know these traits so that we recognize them.

00:36:48 --> 00:36:51
			Because there's no way there's no other way for us to know them.

00:36:53 --> 00:37:00
			There's no other way for us to know them except by their actions and their qualities and their
characteristics.

00:37:03 --> 00:37:04
			The second lesson that we learned

00:37:06 --> 00:37:08
			is the danger of tribalism.

00:37:10 --> 00:37:13
			And what it has turned into today, which is nationalism.

00:37:16 --> 00:37:19
			And so Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that

00:37:21 --> 00:37:22
			this is one thing.

00:37:23 --> 00:37:26
			This tribalism is one thing of

00:37:28 --> 00:37:31
			the days of Jamelia that will remain in you.

00:37:33 --> 00:37:36
			And so here are the mahadji rune we're about to fight

00:37:37 --> 00:37:42
			the unsought and previously allows us to fight and husband.

00:37:44 --> 00:37:48
			And such fights are based on tribal lines.

00:37:50 --> 00:37:51
			For the sake of tribalism,

00:37:52 --> 00:37:54
			for the sake of nationalism.

00:37:56 --> 00:38:03
			It's all it's all a lie. He's sort of like not even sort of stepped in and reminded them, of what
binds them.

00:38:04 --> 00:38:07
			And the similarities between them, and that is their Islam.

00:38:09 --> 00:38:11
			What binds them is their Islam.

00:38:12 --> 00:38:19
			And Allah also reminds them in so many different places in the Quran of this bond. In the meanwhile,

00:38:22 --> 00:38:25
			the believers are nothing but brothers.

00:38:26 --> 00:38:32
			And so shaytaan uses such incidents to create disunity. And

00:38:34 --> 00:38:40
			so yesterday was tribalism. Today, it's nationalism. We need to remember that

00:38:41 --> 00:38:43
			we used to be one OMA

00:38:46 --> 00:38:48
			with all these borders divided, dividing us

00:38:52 --> 00:38:55
			and it was the enemies when they came and colonized our lands.

00:38:57 --> 00:39:00
			They divided us into these nation states that we have today.

00:39:01 --> 00:39:05
			You know, when you look at the map of the Muslim countries, you see

00:39:06 --> 00:39:08
			that it's as if some

00:39:10 --> 00:39:12
			people were sitting at a table and

00:39:14 --> 00:39:16
			with a ruler, they were drawing lines

00:39:18 --> 00:39:21
			in some places, the borders are a straight line.

00:39:24 --> 00:39:30
			It'll who made these borders and divided the Muslims into these nation states.

00:39:32 --> 00:39:34
			It was the kuffaar

00:39:35 --> 00:39:37
			and today you have Muslims

00:39:38 --> 00:39:41
			who are ready to fight their Muslim brothers

00:39:42 --> 00:39:44
			simply along these

00:39:45 --> 00:39:47
			nationalistic lines.

00:39:50 --> 00:39:52
			So shaitan uses these labels

00:39:53 --> 00:39:55
			to create disunity in the OMA.

00:39:56 --> 00:39:59
			So the name that we need to use to identify our

00:40:00 --> 00:40:02
			ourselves is what Allah called us.

00:40:03 --> 00:40:05
			Who is semnac? ominously Mina.

00:40:06 --> 00:40:12
			Allah is the one who called you Muslims. Don't call yourself anything else to identify yourself.

00:40:14 --> 00:40:14
			Yes,

00:40:15 --> 00:40:22
			Islam does recognize that we belong to different tribes and different nations, as Allah tells us,

00:40:24 --> 00:40:25
			right into another country, right?

00:40:26 --> 00:40:30
			That he made us to be Shalhoub and Wakanda.

00:40:33 --> 00:40:35
			But for what purpose

00:40:36 --> 00:40:37
			Lita powerful,

00:40:38 --> 00:40:40
			so that you can get to know one another.

00:40:42 --> 00:40:44
			Because imagine if we were all copies

00:40:46 --> 00:40:49
			of one another, you know, we were the same,

00:40:50 --> 00:40:55
			the same tribe, the same color, the same language, everyone would look the same, and

00:40:56 --> 00:41:02
			would belong to the same place and the same people, then how would we distinguish one another?

00:41:03 --> 00:41:20
			How would we recognize one another. And so Allah made us to be different from different backgrounds,
and different personalities and names. So that be too helpful so that we could get to know one
another. So that is the purpose, not

00:41:21 --> 00:41:22
			for the purpose of

00:41:23 --> 00:41:38
			rivalry and tribalism, and nationalism, and we see the danger of it, we see the danger of it, how
you don't imagine this was happening in the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam while he
was alive.

00:41:40 --> 00:41:42
			With the best of generations.

00:41:45 --> 00:41:48
			It's always shows us that they were also humans in the end in the end of the day,

00:41:50 --> 00:41:51
			but we need to be aware.

00:41:53 --> 00:41:57
			And we need to be cautious not to fall into the trap of shame.

00:41:59 --> 00:42:03
			Number three, the concept of slavery in Islam.

00:42:06 --> 00:42:08
			And this is something very important to talk about here.

00:42:10 --> 00:42:11
			Because

00:42:13 --> 00:42:17
			it was mentioned that the Muslims took captives the war

00:42:19 --> 00:42:22
			and made them to be slaves.

00:42:24 --> 00:42:25
			And we will see this again,

00:42:26 --> 00:42:28
			in other incidents.

00:42:29 --> 00:42:40
			And this is extremely important to talk about, because the enemies of Islam often criticize Islam,
and claim that Islam promotes and encourages slavery.

00:42:45 --> 00:42:47
			And so, we need to address this issue.

00:42:51 --> 00:42:52
			So we say, first of all,

00:42:54 --> 00:42:59
			slavery was always prevalent in human societies and civilizations.

00:43:01 --> 00:43:03
			When Islam King,

00:43:04 --> 00:43:08
			there were many different ways of becoming a slave.

00:43:09 --> 00:43:12
			There were different causes, such as warfare,

00:43:15 --> 00:43:16
			poverty,

00:43:17 --> 00:43:21
			debt, if you're unable to pay off a debt, you would become a slave.

00:43:24 --> 00:43:26
			And also by kidnapping and reigns.

00:43:29 --> 00:43:36
			When we look at how slavery spread in the world, in the later centuries,

00:43:37 --> 00:43:45
			we find that it did not spread in this appalling manner. You know, we're talking about the last
three or four centuries.

00:43:46 --> 00:44:01
			How did it spread? It did not spread in this appalling manner, except through one method. We
mentioned different methods, right? Warfare, poverty, debt, and also kidnapping and reading.

00:44:02 --> 00:44:07
			But it did not spread in the last couple of centuries, except through kidnapping and reading.

00:44:09 --> 00:44:15
			In fact, the main source of slaves in Europe and America as we know, was through this method.

00:44:18 --> 00:44:19
			Number two,

00:44:22 --> 00:44:23
			when Islam came,

00:44:25 --> 00:44:26
			what did Islam do?

00:44:27 --> 00:44:32
			It limited the sources of slavery to only one.

00:44:35 --> 00:44:46
			So we mentioned there are different ways of becoming a slave. When Islam came in legislated, there's
only one way that you could end up becoming a slave and that is through war.

00:44:47 --> 00:44:48
			That is true war.

00:44:50 --> 00:44:53
			Where, if the Muslims are victorious,

00:44:54 --> 00:44:57
			they take these Kafeel prisoners of war

00:44:58 --> 00:44:59
			along with their women

00:45:00 --> 00:45:00
			to other children.

00:45:05 --> 00:45:08
			And this was one of the methods that already existed.

00:45:10 --> 00:45:11
			So

00:45:13 --> 00:45:17
			the custom, the prevalent custom was that

00:45:19 --> 00:45:21
			you take these prisoners and they become slaves.

00:45:22 --> 00:45:23
			But

00:45:24 --> 00:45:28
			prior to Islam, these slaves did not have any protection or rights.

00:45:31 --> 00:45:35
			So they would either be killed or they would become slaves.

00:45:37 --> 00:45:42
			However, look at what astounded. Yes, it said this is the only way you can become a slave. But

00:45:43 --> 00:45:45
			it brought two more options.

00:45:48 --> 00:45:51
			Either unconditionally release them,

00:45:52 --> 00:45:54
			or ransom them.

00:45:56 --> 00:45:58
			Allow them to pay for their freedom.

00:45:59 --> 00:46:04
			So here we notice Islam did not completely abolish slavery altogether.

00:46:06 --> 00:46:07
			And there's a reason for that.

00:46:09 --> 00:46:12
			And that is because the Kafeel prisoner and captive

00:46:14 --> 00:46:19
			he was in the enemy ranks. And he was opposed to Islam.

00:46:22 --> 00:46:23
			So he's a wrongdoer.

00:46:25 --> 00:46:27
			Or he supporting wrongdoing.

00:46:28 --> 00:46:34
			letting him go free, would basically give them the opportunity to go and spread,

00:46:35 --> 00:46:42
			more wrongdoing uncover and aggression against others that oppose the truth of Islam and prevent it
from reaching people.

00:46:45 --> 00:46:46
			Number three,

00:46:47 --> 00:46:49
			when Islam came,

00:46:50 --> 00:46:55
			it changed the way in which slaves were dealt with.

00:46:59 --> 00:47:05
			Slaves were not considered to be humans. And they were treated even worse than animals.

00:47:07 --> 00:47:17
			And this continued in Western society. Until as we know, only a few decades ago, they abolished
slavery and this injustice

00:47:18 --> 00:47:19
			to slaves.

00:47:21 --> 00:47:34
			And so the, the respect that Islam gave to slaves was so much so that slaves were able to learn to
educate themselves, and even work.

00:47:36 --> 00:47:39
			Some even became scholars.

00:47:41 --> 00:47:43
			You know, we're talking about earlier now of the Muslims.

00:47:44 --> 00:47:46
			From among the tabby rune,

00:47:48 --> 00:47:53
			they fell as leaves, as the Muslims were conquering different

00:47:54 --> 00:47:55
			lands.

00:47:56 --> 00:48:07
			These people fell asleep and then under the Sahaba, they learned the deen they accepted Islam they
learned and they became students of knowledge and then they became scholars.

00:48:10 --> 00:48:19
			Some even went on to become kings. Imagine that something that is unimaginable in the western

00:48:22 --> 00:48:24
			institution of slavery.

00:48:26 --> 00:48:27
			They became kings,

00:48:29 --> 00:48:30
			there was this entire dynasty

00:48:32 --> 00:48:33
			and monadic

00:48:34 --> 00:48:42
			the Mamluks it was called the dynasty of the slaves, because they were slaves who became kings.

00:48:44 --> 00:48:52
			Plus, slavery among the Muslims had nothing to do with race or ethnicity. And this is something very
important for us to

00:48:53 --> 00:48:54
			establish

00:48:56 --> 00:49:00
			that it had nothing to do with race, unlike in the West,

00:49:01 --> 00:49:04
			where slaves were limited to the black race.

00:49:05 --> 00:49:07
			And the owners or the masters were white.

00:49:11 --> 00:49:13
			Whereas in Islam,

00:49:14 --> 00:49:20
			the slave could be White could be Arabs, such as, you know, in these examples

00:49:21 --> 00:49:26
			with the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam. They could be Arabs, they could be non Arabs.

00:49:28 --> 00:49:30
			It had nothing to do with race or ethnicity.

00:49:32 --> 00:49:38
			Unlike the Western idea of slavery, which is nothing more than racism

00:49:39 --> 00:49:40
			it's nothing more than racism.

00:49:43 --> 00:49:45
			And finally, on this point of slavery

00:49:49 --> 00:49:56
			although there were many ways in which a person could become a slave, prior to Islam

00:49:58 --> 00:49:59
			they were virtually

00:50:00 --> 00:50:03
			No ways in which a slave can become free.

00:50:06 --> 00:50:13
			And this completely destroys the criticism of the kuffar about the concept of slavery in Islam.

00:50:15 --> 00:50:18
			Because the problem is that

00:50:19 --> 00:50:26
			when they talk about slavery, in their mind, they have their own idea of slavery, what they did to
slaves.

00:50:27 --> 00:50:33
			And then when they hear Islam allow slavery, they have that same image in their minds. But we have
to make it clear

00:50:34 --> 00:50:38
			that slavery in Islam has nothing to do with what you guys were involved in.

00:50:40 --> 00:50:49
			And so, Islam created many ways, not just one way, many ways of liberating and freeing slaves.

00:50:50 --> 00:50:51
			We find this in our Sharia

00:50:56 --> 00:51:00
			example is right here. In the case of God or the alumni,

00:51:01 --> 00:51:02
			this concept of micarta,

00:51:03 --> 00:51:08
			you fall as a captive and become a slave, okay, work

00:51:09 --> 00:51:16
			and make an agreement, a contract with your master, and you'll be free, that you pay him this much,
and then you're free.

00:51:19 --> 00:51:22
			Also, what we notice about many of the outcome in Islam,

00:51:24 --> 00:51:27
			many of the penalties in Assam

00:51:29 --> 00:51:35
			they go back to freeness, leave the kuffaar for certain things is you go and free a slave.

00:51:39 --> 00:51:43
			And then we have various statements of the process of sending,

00:51:45 --> 00:51:49
			encouraging us to free slaves and how it is a huge good deed to for your faith.

00:51:53 --> 00:51:55
			And so all of this shows us

00:51:58 --> 00:52:02
			that when it comes to slavery in Islam, yes, it exists.

00:52:04 --> 00:52:15
			And we shouldn't feel shy about defending this concept. And we have to make it clear that it is
completely different than

00:52:16 --> 00:52:20
			the slavery that you know, the Western civilization was involved in.

00:52:22 --> 00:52:24
			The next lesson that we learn

00:52:25 --> 00:52:28
			here is the example of true Eman

00:52:29 --> 00:52:31
			and where your loyalty should go as

00:52:33 --> 00:52:35
			your loyalty should be for Allah,

00:52:36 --> 00:52:39
			His messenger and the believers.

00:52:42 --> 00:52:44
			So we see this in the story of

00:52:45 --> 00:52:48
			the son of a doula obey.

00:52:50 --> 00:52:53
			Rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told him not to kill him,

00:52:54 --> 00:52:55
			but rather

00:52:59 --> 00:53:03
			treat him well in this dunya and we will also treat him well.

00:53:06 --> 00:53:19
			Because that is the right of parents in Islam, that even if they are kuffaar, Allah tells us in the
Quran, also a Hebrew whom effing dunya Maratha accompany them in the dunya in a good way, treat them
well.

00:53:21 --> 00:53:24
			So this is what the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was telling

00:53:25 --> 00:53:26
			Abdullah to do.

00:53:28 --> 00:53:35
			In another narration, you mentioned that when Abdullah heard about what his farm father had said, he
went up to him.

00:53:37 --> 00:53:42
			And he said, I will not leave you until you admit that you are

00:53:44 --> 00:53:49
			a delille. Adele and Muhammad is a disease or

00:53:51 --> 00:53:54
			that you are the humiliated one and Hamza Salam is

00:53:55 --> 00:53:56
			the superior.

00:53:57 --> 00:54:17
			In another narration, it mentions that when they reached the outskirts of Medina, he told his
father, that he will not let him enter Medina until Rasul Allah is also known granting permission.
And then the Prophet also went and he gave him permission. But the point here is all of this shows
us

00:54:19 --> 00:54:21
			the Eman of the sahaba.

00:54:24 --> 00:54:27
			And this is not the first time we have seen this kind of the map.

00:54:28 --> 00:54:33
			We saw in various battles, like the battle, a battle, the battle of ocean,

00:54:34 --> 00:54:39
			how they were willing to, you know, kill their own fathers and brothers and sons.

00:54:40 --> 00:54:59
			What makes you do that, except this Eman and this loyalty you have in your heart. This allegiance
that you have this one out that you have for Allah, His messenger and the believers and this this
loyalty that you have this this association that you have

00:55:00 --> 00:55:04
			of this barrage that you have for Cooper and the kuffaar

00:55:06 --> 00:55:07
			and the machico.

00:55:11 --> 00:55:23
			The final lesson that we can mention here is why did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam punish
en de la even will be a bit settled

00:55:27 --> 00:55:34
			when the news of what Abdullah Indira oh they had said reached Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam

00:55:36 --> 00:55:37
			guess who was with him?

00:55:40 --> 00:55:42
			Or her Marimon Bob Robbie Allah right.

00:55:44 --> 00:55:49
			And we all know that remember the Allahu Han. He doesn't tolerate such stuff.

00:55:52 --> 00:55:53
			He does not tolerate

00:55:54 --> 00:55:57
			such treachery and backstabbing.

00:55:59 --> 00:56:07
			Immediately he said to the prophets on the lung, it was a lump. Yasuda Allah let me go and chop off
the head of this Mountfield

00:56:12 --> 00:56:16
			Rasul Allah He said the longer it was wa sallam said to him, leave him on

00:56:18 --> 00:56:19
			how would it be?

00:56:22 --> 00:56:23
			To have people saying

00:56:24 --> 00:56:27
			that Muhammad kills his own companions.

00:56:29 --> 00:56:31
			This is the famous statement of the prophets on the one value

00:56:32 --> 00:56:34
			that we have heard.

00:56:36 --> 00:56:37
			How would it be

00:56:40 --> 00:56:59
			if we started hearing people say that Muhammad kills his own companions. So the reason why, you know
sort of why he's still alive and he also did not allow the Allah will be to be punished or killed
was that he did not want people to think that Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam kills his companions

00:57:00 --> 00:57:06
			even though we know that Abdullah even though they was not a companion, he was I'm gonna fit

00:57:07 --> 00:57:10
			but he was counted as one of the Muslims.

00:57:13 --> 00:57:18
			And today we know that he was a hypocrite. But in that time, nobody knew.

00:57:19 --> 00:57:20
			Right?

00:57:21 --> 00:57:22
			In those days, no one knew.

00:57:24 --> 00:57:30
			Yes, there were signs. But in the end of the day, nobody really knew what was in his heart.

00:57:33 --> 00:57:36
			Another reason why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam refused

00:57:37 --> 00:57:43
			or hemorrhage request was that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was thinking long term

00:57:45 --> 00:57:46
			if in his heart he says

00:57:47 --> 00:57:55
			thereafter if anything bad happened the people of Abdullah even obey would blame him and criticize
him.

00:57:56 --> 00:58:02
			So Rasul Allah He SallAllahu Sallam after being told how they were treating

00:58:03 --> 00:58:10
			Abdullah bin obey now, because they used to treat him with respect and honor his own people.

00:58:11 --> 00:58:12
			But now after this incident,

00:58:14 --> 00:58:25
			after this incident, the any anytime something bad would happen, they would blame him they would
criticize him. So when the process is seldom heard how they were treating him, he goes up to him.

00:58:26 --> 00:58:27
			And he says, Well,

00:58:29 --> 00:58:30
			what do you think now?

00:58:32 --> 00:58:40
			So remember, he says, I swear if I had killed him, the day that I had suggested it, there would have
been much resentment.

00:58:41 --> 00:58:42
			Meaning

00:58:44 --> 00:58:50
			that there would have been much animosity towards us, from the people of Abdullah, if it will be

00:58:52 --> 00:58:55
			that you held him in honor. They respected him.

00:58:56 --> 00:59:15
			And so the decision of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam proved to be beneficial, because over
time, the character of Abdullah ibn obey was being exposed to his people. His true colors were
starting to come out so that they could recognize his evil on their own.

00:59:18 --> 00:59:18
			And so

00:59:20 --> 00:59:24
			if Ramada Wang was given permission to kill him,

00:59:25 --> 00:59:31
			then people would have gone against the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, out of pride out of
tribalism

00:59:34 --> 00:59:42
			because they weren't familiar with the true colors up until the day and so now they started to
recognize his true colors.

00:59:44 --> 00:59:46
			Prior to this,

00:59:47 --> 00:59:51
			they did not know what we know today about his hypocrisy.

00:59:53 --> 00:59:59
			And that's why as we mentioned, some of the unsolved they came to his defense

01:00:00 --> 01:00:04
			We mentioned it, like we'll say it even further, you know, the one who had

01:00:06 --> 01:00:07
			said, you know, so we'll leave them alone.

01:00:11 --> 01:00:17
			And so it was only slowly as time passed by that the truth was discovered.

01:00:18 --> 01:00:19
			And that's why,

01:00:20 --> 01:00:32
			prior to this, whenever sort of Lysol Saddam would go towards the member to give the hotbar on Juma
Abdullah ibn obey out of his hypocrisy,

01:00:34 --> 01:00:38
			you know, out of his rehab, right, because this is one of the qualities of

01:00:39 --> 01:00:42
			the hypocrites, they show off. We have rehab.

01:00:44 --> 01:00:56
			So, out of his idea, he would stand up the prophets of Psalm is entering the masjid and going
towards the member, he would stand up and say, This is the Messenger of Allah, support him and hold
him.

01:00:59 --> 01:01:10
			Right. But after his true colors came out, they were slowly being revealed. Whenever he would stand
up to do this, his own people would pull them down. Let's see, sit down.

01:01:13 --> 01:01:16
			So this was as a result of the wisdom

01:01:18 --> 01:01:20
			of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

01:01:22 --> 01:01:24
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

01:01:26 --> 01:01:29
			If I were to order his execution today,

01:01:31 --> 01:01:34
			they will all kill him. Meaning now Yeah, Omar.

01:01:35 --> 01:01:41
			Now if I am to say, let's execute him, everyone would be ready. And they would all kill him

01:01:43 --> 01:01:44
			or model the ALLAH and

01:01:45 --> 01:01:52
			he replied, He said, Yes, all Messenger of Allah, I realized that your decision was the right one.

01:01:55 --> 01:01:57
			And so we see the wisdom

01:01:58 --> 01:02:01
			in why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

01:02:02 --> 01:02:10
			did not kill them when Alfie Kohn did not get rid of them. And why also Allah in the Quran, never
expose them by name.

01:02:14 --> 01:02:26
			He merely expose them by their actions and their qualities and their characteristics. So these are
the lessons that we learned from what we discussed tonight and in sha Allah to and then next week,
we'll move on

01:02:27 --> 01:02:43
			to the next incident that occurred as they are returning from this was one of many animals Pollock.
Subhanak locomobi, Hemlock, headwear, La Ilaha. Sol Furukawa to Lake wa salatu salam ala and

01:02:45 --> 01:02:47
			you also can be a chameleon with

01:02:48 --> 01:02:49
			metal liking
