Doctor Suleiman, thank you so much for
allowing us to take that break away from the conversation. But
we're only left with just a few minutes into our conversation.
What for you are the ways in which South Africans can engage with
gift of the givers in order to to help this amazing organization to
become more efficient and more effective. First of all, I must
say thank you to South Africans. You know for this, we are where we
are today because of the outstanding support from South
Africans from all walks of life, my only sadness is everybody wants
to be a volunteer with us, and that's not possible. Most of our
volunteers are medically trained as search and rescue specialists,
and those are type of volunteers that we take across, of course,
sometimes with the fine Kylie child Alex, people come locally
and help us pack some stuff and distribute some stuff. We can use
them there. But unfortunately, to all South Africans, I know you've
asked me this every day in every email and every message, how can
we help you? You can help us by publicizing what we do, you can
help us make others aware of what we do. And of course, we just
support, be it a good word, be it finances, be it supplies, in kind,
we appreciate everything. People ask you, is five, then enough or
50, then is enough? It doesn't matter what the quantity is. From
a spiritual point of view, whatever you give that makes you
feel good, which is sincere, which is well meaning, has blessing in
it, and that amount doesn't really matter to us. We appreciate your
goodwill and your efforts and your collective effort to work with us.
A special thanks to the media also. I mean, you have carried our
stories on so many channel, channels in all forms of media
throughout the country. And I mean, throughout our years, it's
26 years in existence now. So thank you very much for that, and
just continue supporting us in what we do. If you make a mistake,
don't be afraid to say, Hey, you made a mistake. Fix this up. We
have to, we have to wrap it up. What's your quick message for 2019
I
think 2019 is going to be a great year. It's time to be very
positive. Let's find the good stories. Let's work together and
to the special message to the government, let's intervene in the
water crisis, in the for the situation, fix up the hospitals.
There's too many posts the doctors are. What eight or nine doctors
running a whole hospital is not acceptable. People waiting for two
to three years for a surgery is not acceptable. We need to fix the
health service, we need to put houses up. We need to full don't
make political promises. Make realistic promises, and let's get
on with the job. South Africa. Let's stand together to fight
crime. Stand with the government and do the job together. Doctor
India. Suleman, thank you so much for your time, and all the best
for 2019 we'll be watching your movements.
And thank you.
