smilla have a handle Rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa salatu salam, ala Shafi. ambia even more saline Nabina Muhammad dinaledi optimal solid to attempt to sleep on my back will continue to be in sha Allah to Hana on the 20th night of Ramadan. It's already the 20th nights from candlelight, you know doesn't even feel like you know, Ramadan has gotten past a few days and we're already nearing the end of the month of Ramadan.
So we ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah to make easy for us to maximize from these last 10 nights and shut along to her let
you know to constantly seek forgiveness as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to say very often, a lot of them in their careful and your head will have what 400 me right to constantly ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah to forgive us and to seek His forgiveness.
Today we'll continue where we didn't actually enter into the beginning of surah Yaseen yesterday. So we'll continue from sort of seeing
the beginning of the sutra, we'll go into
the whole sort of three are seen as well, sort of Salford sort of side and the first 31 verses of sort of to zoom out from Siobhan Tara.
Souter. Yeah, seen a sutra that many of us recite very often, right. And it's a sort of that panel that sometimes people have recited it so many times that they tend to memorize it without even knowing it. Right. And you realize when you're reading it, this kind of law, you've memorized many of those verses. Now, the question is, why have Why do we read sword as in so much?
Why do we Why do we recite this song so often?
For patients, oh, for a patient, okay. All right. Make dua, so we can make Do I have to write? Okay.
Okay, so some say that, that there's a statement of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam about it being the heart of the plant. And many, there are many statements with regards to sooty se.
But I remember our teachers telling us that many of the statements you hear about sort of Yes, Ian,
you should go and check.
should go and check. Okay, so I know some of the shoe like to actually teach courses on the reality of sort of, yeah, see, like, what is sort of a scene itself. So teaching the surah and finding out about, you know, the statements that have been made with regards to sort of the assay.
We're not going to get into that obviously, because we don't have time, but we will get into the soron shuttle mechanic. And it's very interesting because many people recite this what I saw often, but I wonder how many times they've actually recited the translation of it to know what the reading and this look like, what exactly are we reciting? Why, why do we recite this? So today, inshallah we'll go through the beginning of the song and you know, finish it off.
In verses number one to seven, Allah Subhana. Allah to Allah tells us that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent as a messenger to warn those that were doing wrong, right to warn those that were doing wrong from amongst them shaking the crush of NACA, and for all, you know, people for all times as well, from verses 13 to 17, Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on into the story of the dwellers, right, those that
lived in the town, and they had been sent messengers to messengers, and they still didn't believe. So Allah subhanho wa Taala, sent on the third messenger, and even though the third messenger had come, they still didn't believe in the message of Allah subhanho wa Taala in the oneness of Allah subhanho wa Taala. They continued in their shift in their ways. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on into verses 20 and 25 and says, A men came running, right? A man came running to tell them we all who knows a verse off the top of their head, because we recite the sword all the time, who knows? Verse number 20 and then came running.
I mean, alko Salima de Natarajan UI Asara, right, this man comes running, what does he start to say? He tells the people, he warns them No, listen, make sure you listen to them. Listen to the messengers, right? He's warning them about disobeying the messengers of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And so he encourages them to listen to them. If you don't listen to them, then a torment or a punishment will come from Allah subhanho wa Taala. But what did the people do? They still don't listen to the Warner the men that Allah subhanho wa Taala says comes and warns them who came after how many messengers coming to those people. Three, all right, so loss of power without
highlights that there are verses 30 and 32.
And lots of kind of wits Allah mentions that there never came a messenger to them, but they mocked him. So with the constant amount of messengers that were sent to the nations of the past, they would continue to lock those messengers, including in this story, Allah subhanho wa Taala. And we can't go into much detail, because we have a lot to cover. But alas, panatela mentioned that the people continued to mock whatever messenger would come, and they would not listen to the message, which was to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala and not have any partners in their Eva in their worship, of a loss of power or whatever, but they continue to mock. And then the law says that he sent a messenger
so a messenger had come running, or a warner I should say, not a messenger, a man who came to warn, and they still didn't listen to him, even though he was telling his people to listen to the messengers that were sent from Allah Subhana Allah to add in verses 33 to 40 proof that Allah subhana wa tada is the creator and His signs we know these verses very well, which is why we're going through them right because we all have recited sort of seen and understood the verses in English or Arabic or do or Punjabi or whatever languages that we read them right or the translations that we read. And so Allah subhana wa Jana here says,

FIFA looking back on so Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah mentions the proof or proof that Allah subhana wa Jalla is the creator and then he goes on to mention his signs, signs of what signs that we just finished reciting right signs of the Sun signs of the moon how Allah subhanho wa Taala makes them in you know flow in succession that they will the sun comes the moon comes Allah subhana wa Jalla talks about the the story of new Hanna his Salaam as well and how the ship flows. analyst pan with Allah mentions the signs for us to understand that He is the creator of all the creation
versus 48 to 50. The machine asked for the time of the punishment right in verse number 48.
Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions loiacono and Amata. Then why don't you
too saw the the in the time when is this going to come? When is the punishment going to come? And we looked at previous nations in previous sources that we've covered that they were asking and requesting for their punishment? When is this punishments going to come bring the punishment? And here we see they're asking, when is the time meaning the sad? The Day of Judgment? When will that be? Now why do you think Allah subhanho wa Taala kept the the actual time of the day of judgment? Unknown? Can anyone figure that out?
A test how is it a test?
You don't know when the day of judgment will come? Okay, but why? What's the importance? What's the significance?
If we knew when the Day of Judgment would be? Would that change anything?
Everyone got it now right? So everyone figured it out? Mashallah, if we knew when the Day of Judgment would be, we would just do whatever we wanted up until that time, right? If we knew in our death would be, we would do whatever we wanted. Up until the day before we passed away make Toba seek forgiveness fast for a few hours prayer so Allah, Allah Please forgive me and then pass away and if we knew that the day
Judgment would come at a specific time during our life, then we would make sure that we would, you know,
do what was necessary before the day of judgment actually came. But somehow before that, you'd notice that people would become lazy, extremely lazy. So the fact that it's unknown is like our brother said, a test that you don't know when you're going to leave this world, you don't know when the day of judgement is going to come and you don't know when your time is over. So you need to constantly be busy and making sure that you don't slip away, because for that split moment that you might turn away from a boss or Pamela Tana, that that might be the moment that the Angel of Death comes to knock on your door. So we ask Allah subhana wa genotypically, easy for us to understand the
way that Allah Subhana which Allah created us. So again, just to highlight, a love keeps this the the day of judgment or the time of the day of judgment unknown. And those of the past would ask, When is this day trying to test the messengers test the prophets, you claim that there's going to be a day of judgment? When is it? Right? You say that it's going to come when because, like, if you can't tell it to us yourself, then you probably don't know anything about it as well. So Allah subhanho wa Taala, you know, in his, in his infinite wisdom, has shown us lessons from the people of the past and he highlights that over and over.
Okay, so we move on to verse 55. In sha Allah Allah, Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions the life of those in Paradise, and how they are they're going to enjoy and shout Allahu Allah, we will enjoy the life in Paradise, and we will be relaxed and reclined and Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions that there and versus, you know, 58 to 55 how the dwellers of paradise on that day will be full of joy, and they will benefit from those joyous things that will last panel metallic gives them that their wives shall be in the shades reclining on raised couches, and you will just be chilled out. Right and so Pamela, you know, makes us wonder how this life on earth is compared to the hereafter how we
would you know, spend our entire lives trying to get comfort in this dunya and I know people who
is there a phone behind me something is ringing behind. So I know some people who work their entire life to try and benefit from, you know, having the house that they paid and having the leather sofa to sit on and having the flat screen TV and you know HD satellite so they can see things Mashallah nice and crystal clear because their eyesight has diminished now. And so Pamela, we noticed that they end up working so hard to get all of that, that in the later years of their life, many people don't even have the time to benefit from sitting and just enjoying it. Like they worked so hard. But then they realize you know what, I'm so busy with the with the grandchildren are busy with, you
know, helping the children out in their life, so have to work to help them out. And so how many people don't have the chance to actually sit down and benefit from the things that they work so hard for in this life. But in general also pan with Allah will actually give us that, like, we will have that time as our moment forever to benefit from what we worked extremely hard for in this dunya so you strive hard to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala you strive extremely hard, you know rushing to get to the mustard to pray your Salah, you strive hard somehow on the daytime when it's hot and sunny, and you go to work and you're fasting for so many hours. And you think so hello, why am I
doing this? I know many Muslims come to me and I say why do we do this? Is there there could be some sort of leeway. Maybe we should shorten the days it's a little too long. Maybe the profits on longer it was on them at his time. And even up until now and mcca they fast for a certain amount of hours. But maybe it wasn't made so that we would fast this amount of hours. Right? People ask those questions. They're like we should be fasting according to the timing and bucket. Not in the timing. You know, the timing over here in Canada? Why do we do that? Why is it so hard for us? Why why why? Just wait, you'll know why it's so hard for you. We will know why it's so hard when we reach Jelena
and Allah subhanho wa Taala will give you your place your you know, your place to just enjoy. And those trees that we hear of in the stories how they it will take the fastest Arabian horse hundreds of years to cross the to cross the shade under the tree. right that's in general. And how big is that tree so big that it takes hundreds of years to cross the shade on the fastest horse but at the same time in order to get that tree What do we have to do in this world?
How do you get a tree in general? Just see some hands on law.
Just say some hand Allah and Allah Subhana Allah plants that tree for you.
And I'm thinking of you know, modern day technologies handle and help
You know, you click on things and you hear that, that popping sound like, right it just pops up, you click on something pops up. It's kind of like you just say Subhana Allah, and it pops up for you in general, your trees are waiting for you, it's waiting. You haven't seen it, you haven't touched it, you haven't benefited from it yet it's waiting for you. And spider webs are not going to start to form on it. Because you're going to take a long time to get there, you know, the fruit on the trees and are going to start to rot because you're not taking them off and eating them. It's going to wait for you perfectly and it will be there for you, in sha Allah to Allah when we enter gender, right?
So Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about the joy and the joyous moments of those who will enter genda and will see their gifts from a last panel with Allah and then there'll be content, right, we will be content and think, look at how hard we worked in this dunya how difficult it was to sit for an hour learning the deen when many people are cozy under their blankets with the air conditioning on because the days are hot, and they're fasting. So they have the air conditioning on and they're under their bank blankets sleeping and resting until they're woken up by their children to break their fast, right. But you came to the mustard and you sat down and you learnt in the last hour.
That was the most difficult hour of the day in terms of fasting, but Allah subhanho wa Taala probably made this hour the most easiest hour, right? How many of us sit and and and you know, get lost in what we're learning from the Quran, that we don't even feel the hunger and relax or kind of all the time we got to quickly finish quickly finish because it's time to go and eat. So Allah Subhana Allah makes things easy for those who turn to Him. And what seems difficult for some people would seem extremely easy for many others, simply because they're busy in the worship of colossal cannibal attack. And what are we doing? We're sitting down for just sitting down. We're sitting
down, we're speaking, we're listening. We're benefiting and we're learning and something is changing inside of us. We feel the change in our hearts. And that's because those people who benefits in those ways, they will attain that taqwa that Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about and they will use that in their lives in order to get the agenda that Allah mentions in these verses. In verses 63 to 67.
Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on to talk about the difficulties of those destined for help.

On last panel is Allah mentions the difficulties of those people who are destined to enter Jannah
This is the * the Hellfire, the place john, with which you were threatened. You were told, if you don't worship Allah Subhana Allah to Allah as Allah mentions, he told us, we would be facing this punishment.
Enter into it this day because you disbelieved.
On that day, we will set a seal upon the mouse, and the hands shall speak to us. So Allah Subhana Allah to Allah will put a seal on our mouth, and the limbs, the hands, the arms, the legs, the limbs that we have will speak to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And their feet shall bear witness of what they earned. And if we please, we would certainly put out their eyes, then they would run about trying to find their way, but how should they see and if we please, if we want, we would surely transform them in their place, then they would not be able to go on nor will they return. So unless palitana mentions how difficult it will be for the people who are destined or who would be entering jahannam
how they would testify.
Allah subhanho wa Taala on the Day of Judgment, they will stand before Him. And literally sometimes, you know, we think that we're smarter than a loss of habitat. We know very well, we're not supposed to do something, but we go and we do it. And we think we're going to escape how, but that's just us as human beings, right? Our knifes, our desires, incline us to do things. And then we turn and we do things that might be displeasing to a lesser panel attack.
But Allah mentions that he warns us, and He warns us that there is a jahannam, there is a paradise, and there is a help. And throughout this entire month, I've been focusing a lot on the positivity and a lot of the positivity, a lot of the things that will make us feel good. Why because it's the last hour of the day, many of us are tired, and we don't want to come in here. You're going to be punished, you're going to be punished, you're going to be punished. But sometimes it's important for us to actually sit and reflect on the punishments. Because if we constantly talk about goodness, we will feel as though there's no such thing as evil, but a loss palitana created both evil and
goodness, so that we can no those that stay away from the goodness, this punishment, this evil will come your way. So we have to do justice to both right? It's nice and you know, it soothes the heart and calms the heart to constantly talk about the goodness that's mentioned in the Quran. But it's important as well, to mention and to highlight what Allah subhanho wa Taala talks to us about the punishments and the hardships for those who disobey Allah subhanho wa Taala
so he mentioned his low hayama the McClinton takuan. Burn there in that day or enter there in that day. Because you disbelieve some of the some of the scholars translate this as to you will end you'll be entering the fire that Hellfire and so therefore you will not you. Please don't. Don't take the words as then as in I'm saying it to you. But Allah subhanho wa Taala sing it to us that those who disbelieve will enter the fire and obviously the fire will burn and we will touch some of the aspects of john in a few minutes in sha Allah Tara.
And then in verse 69, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not know poetry as highlighted to us here. When I was
in Hawaii in the
movie in and we have not taught him meaning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he was not taught poetry. And Allah Subhana Allah mentions here, nor is it nor is it something that was needed for him to learn. And it wasn't intended for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to learn poetry, this is only a reminder and the right this is the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah. So Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not know poetry, nor was it intended for him to know poetry. And that was because the machete Keane of their time of that time, they were questioning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and saying, you know what,
you're just this is poetry. You're a poet, you're making this up, you know these words, where do you get them from? And we'll see very shortly how Allah subhana wa, tada highlights to us.
And that the Muslim keen themselves, were amazed with the Quran with the verses of the Quran. Now, when you learn the Arabic language, and you hear the verses of the Quran, you're like, wow, this is the Arabic I want to speak. And this is the type of Arabic that I want to eloquently flow from my mouth. But it's not easy. It's not easy for anyone to speak this way. The Quranic Arabic, it's doable. It's doable, but you can't make up phrases obviously, that have been made by a loss of time, but to speak with the purity of the Quran is doable, and to remove that sort of, you know, the dialect and the and the slang from the language. So Allah subhanho wa Taala highlights that the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was not a poet. He wasn't a poet, therefore the Quran the verses that he was telling to them was not poetry. And it was not it was not intended for him to even learn poetry. And we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was illiterate, he couldn't read any couldn't write. So anyone in the right sense that is accusing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam of being a poet, or being someone that was creating this and writing this poetry, surely had no idea what they were talking about. Right? This was definitely from a loss of pan with your head and look at his plan. The plan of Allah subhanho wa Taala how he sent a messenger who couldn't read,
couldn't write, and it was said in a scene that he was not a poet, nor was it intended for him to be a poet or to learn poetry.
Proving that this could earn none of it was from Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam it was all divine, from Allah Subhana Allah to Allah sent to him through the angel gibreel Allah His Sunnah, we'll move on to Surah sofort the 37th surah of the Quran
and then sort of soft, a soft fat. Who knows what it means? What does the title mean? A soft fat I'm not going to look at our waist because he has this for an open and I know Mashallah he always knows it. A soft fat anyone.
Okay with
that those ranged in ranks right those who are set in ranks and the last panel it's It begins with Sora.
Well saw 30 sort of fuzzy generalities as your fat Talia tdkr Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions by those ranged in ranks or Allah subhanho wa Taala swears by those that are ranged in ranks. And then the last one which Allah mentions by those who drive the clouds in a good way. And by those who bring the book and the Quran from a lot to mankind, who is this? Who was a less palitana referring to hear the angels? So Allah Subhana Allah is referring to the angels in the beginning of this surah
from verses six to 10, Allah subhanho wa Taala then after talking about the angels talks about the stars and how the stars are used to throw at who
the shape on right, just like we see, and when we go for Hajj and people stone the Jamaat what do they do? They take off their home and throw it they take their umbrellas and throw it they take the slippers and throw it they take everything and on the second day when they're changed that of their home they take their belt off and they throw it and they take off their Mashallah everything. I remember I got hit on the back of the head with every single item you could possibly think of. Right? Every item you could think of that would be thrown was thrown
except cell phones actually I think we we noticed you know the old Nokia cell phones being thrown Mashallah. So Allah subhanho wa Taala here talks about the stars and how he uses the stars to throw at the shaft lean at the devil, right? And let's look at some of these verses six to 10. Allah subhanho wa Taala says, surely we have adorn the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars and there is a safeguard against every rebellious Satan or shavon they cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side meaning Allah subhanaw taala throws the stars at the shape on and allow us to pan with Allah mentions it in another surah which is
near the end of the Quran.
Surah mulk what is the last panelist Allah say that the stars are used to throw at the shape on right. So when you see the stars being thrown, meaning a shooting star, when you see a shooting star, what are you seeing? You've seen a loss of Hannah with Alec commend that star to be thrown at the shape on
that's a shooting star.
Amazing, isn't it? We don't really think of that. Many of us have telescopes that we use and we show our children the stars and we look up at the sky. We just moved to this new place Mashallah. And I like, you know, looking at the sky, it's very nice, but there's too much light pollution in this part of you know, the world. So we need to move outside in the middle of nowhere, like must have that fella and look up at the stars right? Mashallah. And Allah Subhana Allah has blessed us with the ability to look at the stars, but he taught us what they're there for. He placed them in the sky to stop the shape on those major, you know, helpers of the shape on that are going to come and try
to corrupt the earth. So Allah subhanho wa Taala uses the stars in order to stop the shape on from coming any closer.
Then Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in verse number 20 to 26 the angels will be asked to gather and and to get the non Muslims so they will gather the disbelievers, the non believers, those that don't believe in Allah Subhana Allah, they will be asked to gather them to get them ready on the day of judgment to take them towards Johanna to take them closer to the hellfire. But then Allah subhanho wa Taala will command them to stop, stop, don't take them any further. Why? Because they need to be questioned. So Allah Subhana which Allah will commend the angels gathered those non non Muslims, right the non believers that shouldn't say non Muslims, because there were followers of
every other nation before and even though we call them Muslims, but
From the time of Ibrahim alayhis salam you may do is to use this term Muslim, the actual term Muslim that we know of we refer to as this specific Muslim. So there's a general Muslim, which is someone who submitted to the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala that had come to all the previous prophets and messengers. But then there are the Muslims of our generation, which are the Muslims specific to those who follow the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So there's a general meaning to the term and a specific meaning to the term. So Allah Subhana Allah will tell all those angels together the non believers and prepare them to make their way to jahannam but before they get there,
stop and wait, why? Because Allah Subhana which Allah will need to question. Now imagine that as I was reading through these verses, I started to think how powerful it is that Allah subhanho wa Taala says, he, you know, they will be led or guided to janam But wait, stop, you need to face Allah subhanho wa Taala First, it would be too easy to just enter Jannah you need to face the loss of Hannah Montana be accountable for what we've done. Question, we will be questioned. What did you do? How did you do it? What was the purpose of you doing this right? And the loss of Hannibal Lecter Allah will expect us to answer to him, even if we didn't, as Allah mentions, those that didn't
believe in Allah subhanho wa Taala he can simply cover their mouths and have their limbs speak and communicate and tell him the reality of what they did in their lives, even though he knows Allah subhanho wa Taala knows, right? He knows what we did. He knows where we went, he knows why we did that. But for us to feel the pain of what we've done. And for those non believers to feel the pain of going against the truth, Allah subhanho wa Taala will question though.
Because Allah knows everything. He doesn't need to question us. Why does the last panel with Adam need us to give account he knows where we where we went? He knows what we did. He knows why we did it. He knows. So it's too easy to just take people and put them here and there.
But the challenge is now you need to stand before Allah subhana wa tada one of the signs of our of our life that Allah Subhana Allah created us and we will return to Allah subhana wa Tada. We move on to verse
51, to 60, Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in these verses to friends, to people think of you and think of one of your friends, how Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned this in these verses
that a friend or a person would be an agenda and will ask will question What about my friend? What about so and so person? And then they will be commended or told we would be told look down.
And so we would look down and you would see your friends down and john them.
And then you would say,
Wow, you tried to discourage me. You tried to distract me You tried to take me away from the remembrance of a loss of Hannibal Lecter Island, but it's only with the help of a law and only with the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala that I am where I am today. Meaning genda right that you would be in genda. And you would be looking down at that friend of yours that you sometimes would play around with or sometimes we would go and hang out with sometimes we would chill. Sometimes you would sit around and just talk right? When we get older. We don't really do much with our friends except talk. But that could be idle talk. That could be backbiting that takes a person to Janda but you
pull yourself away with the help of Allah subhanho wa Taala distance yourself from the person that distracted you from the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala and then in general, you would question Where is this person and it will be made for you to look down and see where they are because of their actions and because you pulled yourself away from the company of that person.
In verse 62, Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on to talk about how Paradise is better for those who believed. But then Allah subhanho wa Taala switches the context from those who are in Jenna to those who are in Johanna and he talks about a specific tree which tree is it?
The Tree of boom right What is this tree? Now Allah subhanho wa Taala places it at the depths of Johanna, the deepest part of Johanna and it grows from the depths of jahannam and Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions the fruits and how the fruits are like the heads of shape on now when you think of it like what do you mean the head of shape on
I was at the head of shaper. And the scholars have to see if they say, you know, when someone thinks of shavon, they think of the most evil looking, being, right, the most evil looking creation, something that is, you know, the devil, right, everyone has a picture in their own mind. Modern day tends to paint a red, you know, red face with horns. That's the modern day picture. But everyone has some sort of picture in their mind. It's something that is not pleasant, something that is not, you know, like something that some handler is very, you know, strange to even think of. Now, the scholars say, imagine that picture, and you'd be eating fruits of that sort.
Like the heads of the devil, the heads of shape, and you'd be eating fruit that is not pleasant, not pleasant to look at, not pleasant in taste, and then a loss of time without dimensions, even though it smells
and tastes bad. Sorry, the scholars mentioned even though it smells and tastes bad, they will eat it, as Allah Subhana Allah mentions to their fill, they will fill their stomachs off of it, even though it doesn't look good. It doesn't taste good, it doesn't smell good, but there will be nothing else to eat from. And you'll be so hungry, or the people of john numb, I should say would be so hungry, that they will go and eat from that tree. It wouldn't be nice to take those fruits, but they will take it, it wouldn't be nice to put it in their mouths, but they will eat it. Right. And then Allah subhana wa Jalla mentions and they will eat it to the extent that their bellies are full.
Just like we eat biryani and rice and we fill our bellies so much that we can even make report properly. insalata arratia. Right. And then almost kind of with Allah mentions
they will drink from from him. Right? What is he mean? Does anyone know?
Hot water, boiling water. Some of the scholars say it's boiling water. Others say and I remember when I was in Medina, our teacher was teaching us about Johanna. And he was saying this, I mean is actually
more than just boiling water. It's and there's children here I don't want to go into much detail. But it's boiling blood and pus
boiling excretions from the body. And I remember our shake was telling us and I was reading it earlier today as well. And one of the books have to see how it's the boiling excretions of the of the private parts, especially for those that committed sin, using the private parts. Allah Subhana Allah Allah will provide for them to drink from that sort of substance in Jana.
I said today we're going to talk about janome a little bit and the punishments of the last kind of a tyrant I warned you earlier when we're in sort of se, right. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about as a boon, but also talks about how we will fill our bellies are the people of Ghana, I shouldn't say we but the people of Ghana because we asked the last panel down and not to make us from those people, they will eat to the extent that this food or fruit is not even pleasant, but they will fill themselves with it. And then they will feel thirsty and they will go and drink from this liquid that is boiling in nature, but from the excretions that come from the body. And then the
last pan with Allah says they will go and they will get burnt again.
They will go and they will get burnt again. And then this process will happen again. over and over and over for how many months.
We know that the Hereafter is eternal. It will go on and on and on and on and on. Punishment after punishment after punishment for those that disobey Allah subhana wa attari right.
Then Allah subhana wa tada mentions in verses 75 to 82. He goes on to discuss new holiday, his sentiment and his story with his people. And we went through those similar verses or similar stories and topics so we won't go through that. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala transitions into Ibrahim Allah has sent him and his people and how Ibrahim Allah has sent him was tested with the test of sacrificing his son is married. And some scholars differ than said it wasn't married, but the majority had proven the point that it is this Mariela alayhis salam, and we won't go over that because of the lack of time. So Allah subhana wa Jalla mentions the sacrifice of Israel and he has
said I'm here and how he tells his father How would he find
him How would Ibrahim Allah His Sanam find it is Marian with regards to this test. When he goes and tells his son I was I saw that I should sacrifice you, he receives this sign from Allah Subhana Allah that He has to sacrifice his son, what does his son respond to him and tell him said deji dooney Lucia, la mina saw the ring, you will find me with the will of Allah subhanho wa Taala from those that are patient, from those that will submit to the will of Allah subhanho wa Taala with you, you are commanded to do this, go ahead and do it because you will find me from those that will submit as well because your Lord and my lord are the same. And they worship the last parameter as we
know.
In verses 114 to 132, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about Musa alayhis salam and how on 138 133 to 138 it goes into the story of Luke Allah His setup that we've discussed earlier, and we will discuss as well later on Shannon lagana. Verses 139 to 148. The story of Eunice Ana his setup and hero must plan with Anna highlights the aspect of the ship. So when Eunice added his animals on the ship, and they were met with rough seas, right, a storm, and they had to shed weight. So they got rid of all the extra baggage that they had on the ship. And then they they still couldn't maintain the boat. And they had to start letting go of some of the extra weight from amongst the humans. And so they
drew lots and the first time that they drew lots the captain, you know, the ship was was basically like a raffle pulling names out of a hat. Right? They were drawing lots.
So they pull it out and the first name was who Eunice and then they said no, you know what, you're you're an honest person. You're just this must be a problem. Let's do it again. Right. So they did it again and draw it whose name is it Eunice out of his senate? And then they're like, No, no, there may be something wrong here. Right. Something must be wrong. Let's Let's do it again a third time. They do it again a third time. Eunice I need to send him his name shows up. Then what does the last kind of data do? He puts it in the hearts of units it has set up to simply jump off the ship. Don't take part in this. Just jump off the ship. He jumps off the ship or the boat ends up in the belly of
the whale at the depths of the sea in the middle of the night. And then Allah subhana wa tada with his repentance. You notice that Eunice and his son was repenting. And he was asking for forgiveness from Allah subhana wa teranet in the belly of the whale, and we know that whales, they don't chew their food, right? they swallow it hold because the acids in their stomach work hard at digesting that food or breaking up the food. And so that was happening to the body of units it has set up. His body was being affected from the acids of the stomach of the whale. And he was repenting to Allah subhanho wa Taala to the extent that a lot commanded the whale to go up and to spit out Yunus so
released units and he has set them and then he ended up on short and a last pan with Anna told him or tells us that he provided for him
a bitter gourd right provided for Eunice Ani has sent him the bitter gourd which we know the what's the name and where's the
no no not cucumber. In order What do we call that fruit? The Bitter Gourd that vegetable karela Mashallah a type of Crayola right from the same family and write the plan. The reason why I mentioned it is everyone knows Kayla right? So some kind of very similar to like the pumpkin family.
And so Allah subhana wa tada provided that, that plant to grow for Eunice Allah has sent them and to provide shade for him. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala granted him a cure. And then he returned to his people only to find as we know that they had submitted to a loss of power with Allah just after Yunus Allah His Salam had left. And Allah mentions in the Quran that Eunice Allah has sent him found that they were 100,000 people and even more 100,000 people and even more, right as the last panel with Allah mentions. So that is, you know, a great number of people. We move on to the next bit of verses that will take which is 149 to 160. Allah Subhana Allah to add a clarifies that the angels
are not his daughters, so you can read through those verses. Allah Subhana Allah clarifies because some people say that the prophets are the sons of God. Right? And the angels are the daughters of God, may Allah subhanho wa Taala guide those that say that loss of habitat it clears that up in the Quran, and clarifies that Risa even Millennium was not the Son of God, nor were any of the other prophets. There were all messengers from the human beings from the
People of this earth that will also pan with Anna had given a message to a message to end the angels. Allah clarifies that here in the Quran as well that the angels are not the daughters of Allah subhanho wa Taala. They are a creation of Allah that He created, and they are known as the angels.
Sort of solid. Why is it called suicide? Does anyone know?
What does it mean?
It's a letter solid. It comes before BOD and comes after sheen. Seen sheen solid VOD. So Allah Subhana Allah to Allah titled this surah or this surah is known as so when I saw it, it begins with that letter as well slot Okay, here and in this sort of from verses four to 10 Allah subhanaw taala talks about the machine and how the machete keen, the idol worshipers are amazed with the verses of the Quran. We spoke about this earlier when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was mentioned by Allah Subhana, WA tada and surah Yaseen, that he was not a poet, and he was not given the knowledge of poetry, nor was it intended for him to learn poetry. Allah subhanho wa Taala here highlights that
they're amazed with this message of the Quran that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was giving to them verse after verse after verse.
Then in verses 17 to 20, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about Deadwood Allah has set up and how he dealt with Allah, his son was given a few miracles and how he gave him a comma, and how he was also well spoken and articulate and someone who could convey a message that was understood by the people. Then Allah subhanaw, taala goes on and 21 to 25. Again with deleeuw that Allah has sent them, but he's highlighting the the story of the sheep. And remember, we discussed this story earlier, right a few days ago, and how Allah subhanho wa Taala gives that Buddha Allah His Salaam, this test he sends to people to him. And these two people were sent as a test from Allah subhanho wa Taala. The first
person was saying, or they we're both disputing and saying that you know what, amongst us as business partners, we have 100 sheep, this person has taken 99 of those sheep, and I only have one sheep. And you know, it's not fair. He's asking me for this last sheep. And that would Allah His salami jumps to conclusion. And without listening to the other side of the story without listening to both parties, he makes a decision, a decision that's logical a decision that makes sense to you and I, and obviously, if there's two people, their business partners, one has 99 sheep, the other one has one, and he's telling the person who has one sheep left. I'm going to take your last sheet,
obviously, you're gonna say, you know what, that's not fair. It's not fair. How are you taking all the sheep, your business partners, there should be some sort of division, some sort of split, a 5050 split or a 6040 split or something, whatever it is, but a loss of Hamlet, Allah was testing dealt with Annie Sullivan, he jumped to conclusion. He only listened to one site, he listened to the one person who was saying, I have this one cheap left and he wants to take the last of the 100 cheap. And so Allah Subhana Allah had, you know, showed download Allah has sent out that that was a test. And immediately he recognized that this was a test from Allah Subhana Allah, He bowed down in
prostration. To download Allah has sent him and that's why there's a such dinosaur but if you look closely, you'll notice there's a sentiment disorder.
Verse number to be exact.
Verse number 24, Allah subhanho wa Taala says a double Dinah his Santa bows down prostrates and that was the prostration as a Hadeeth goes, the prostration of Deadwood Allah has sent him in terms of his Toba that he was asking for forgiveness. But for us when we bow down in sujood as a prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did that is the prostration of sugar. Thanks, thanking Allah subhana wa attallah for forgiving delgada his center thanking Allah subhanho wa Taala for forgiving Delta Anna Hassan and accepting his Toba
verse number 26. His powerful advice from Allah subhanho wa Taala.
For those who are leaders, those who are mam's those who generally are looking after other people or have a position of leadership, or a position of management, something of that sort, read verse number 26 in sha Allah to Allah, that is advice as we said, from Allah subhanho wa Taala. That is the verse that follows the action of that Buddha Allah His cinnamon, jumping to conclusions, and Allah subhana wa Jalla is telling download data is sent out via just ruler. Don't just govern the people or be a judge amongst them by using your whims and desires or your own thoughts and logic. Be
Honest be just be fair, listen to both parties and whatever the case is, make sure that you're dealing with the people honestly and justly.
Verses 41 to 40, Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about a Yoruba Allah His setup, and how you value his sin was given back in return all of the things that he lost from a loss of power or that was taken away from a loss of power who attack, right? So we know that you have Allah has set them as we discussed in previous sutras. He became very sick very ill after losing his children losing his property, losing his wealth, even losing his spouse from being ill. And for many years, for over 80 years, I believe it was, if I remember correctly, Uganda, his Salaam had good health. But for less than 10 years, he was struggling and suffering.
And so He even told this to his wife, how many years have I had good health? How many years have I had, you know, this, this suffering and difficulty. And so Pamela is literally only a fraction of the amount of good years that he's enjoyed. And so unless pennyweights out of here mentions in these verses that he gave back to a yoga Allah has set up all the things that he lost, he regained his children and he had more. he regained his wealth to the extent than in a Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He mentions that a UVA Allah has sent him.
One there was one time where he was outside and he was showering. He was taking a bath. And while he was showering, Allah subhanho wa Taala started to shower down on him. Golden locusts, right? The locust like the grasshopper, right? But bigger, Allah subhana wa tada started to shower down on a yoga Allah has sent me golden locusts, authentic honey and a yoga Allah has Sallam started to gather those golden locusts, right started to gather them together. And Allah subhanho wa Taala asked him, Are you not content with the favours I've given you that you need to gather all of this? You need to gather these golden locusts? Aren't you content with what I've given you back in return? and Uganda
has sent them this goes to show us how we can take from the blessings Allah has given us. He says yes, I'm content. But shouldn't I be content with what you're giving to me? Right. And so it was given in these golden locusts and he's gathering them so that he can use use them. It's gold itself. So he's telling us Hamlet, Allah, one moment until nine o'clock, okay, so he's telling Allah subhana wa Jalla. I'm content and I'm continuing to be content with what you're giving me handed in that we'll move on to sort of zoom out and shot a lot of data because we're only covering the first 30 verses and there's only three aspects of the suta that I want to highlight in order to zoom out
first of all, who can tell us what the title means.
Sorry, the groups okay. The group's Allah subhana wa tada here. From verses one to four affirms the deen that Islam is the deen and that the deen is for Allah subhanho wa Taala meaning that we worship a loss of Hamlet and only we don't worship anyone else. So religion is for Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, meaning we worship Allah. He is the one that we worshiped on last panel that we worship. And Allah highlights that here, verses seven to eight. Allah subhana wa Taala mentions how he hates disbelief. And in those verses, you'll notice that Allah subhanaw taala in verse number eight and seven, he highlights the the dislike for disbelief and those that disbelief. In verse number eight,
Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about how one of the aspects of disbelief is to turn to a law only when we need him.
Let me say that again. In verse seven, a law highlights how he hates disbelief. In verse number eight, he highlights that an aspect of disbelief is those people who only turn to Allah subhanho wa Taala when they need something.
So remember, we should turn to Allah all the time and constantly, not only when we need something, because from the behavior of traits of the non Muslims of the disbelievers is that they only turn to their God or to their false gods, I should say when they need something, because they know they're not going to get anything from them and other times as well. And the last thing I want to highlight from this sort on shot a lot of verses 13 to 16 is that Allah subhanho wa Taala discusses in these verses, fear of his punishment for the disbelievers that the disbelievers should fear the punishment of Allah subhanho wa Taala those that go against the command of Allah, they should fear of
punishment from Allah subhanho wa Taala as we highlighted
In the previous verses, we asked about some kind of what's added to make it easy for us to understand that when we ask Allah Subhana Allah to accept our efforts. This is the 20th night of Ramadan in sha Allah tala and we're nearing the end of the month. Please remember to ask for forgiveness constantly throughout these last few nights of Ramadan, Priscilla senemo back at NTV, and I'm having to do it yourself.
