discusses his punishment and how the non believers should be fearful of the punishment of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

Who continued today from verse 36, to 40, how Allah subhana wa tada is sufficient for the believers. And he mentioned that the mushrikeen you know, they admit that Allah Subhana, Allah to Allah is the only creator, because their gods are incapable their gods that they worship or their false gods that their worship are not capable of giving them or providing for them or hearing them. And so they believe and they know that Allah subhanaw taala is the creator, and therefore they believe in the rubia of Allah subhanho wa Taala that He is the Lord He is the Creator, while at the same time that they believe that Allah subhana wa tan is the creator, they still don't solely worship Allah

subhanho wa Taala and therefore they're lacking in what the next aspect of tawheed which is to hate the labor that are hidden here, right? The toe heed that that is specific to Allah subhanho wa Taala in terms of his worship, so he is one in terms of His Lordship, he's also one in terms of in terms of being worshipped that he is deserving of being worshipped alone and not associating any partners with a loss of animal without it.

And so the machine again admit and we see this in a number of cases throughout the Quran, as well as throughout the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam meaning the life of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam. We've seen it as well in previous prophets and their lives and how the people admit to that Allah subhanho wa Taala is their Creator, but they still need to turn to these lesser gods in order to seek assistance, sustenance, help provisions, you know rain and so on and so forth.

So they don't dedicate their worship to Allah subhanho wa Taala

from verses 49 to 52

Allah subhanho wa Taala begins going through the hardships, sorry, mentions how going through a hardship is a blessing upon the muslimeen upon them, meaning going through a hardship is a blessing upon those who believe in Allah subhanho wa Taala. And it is even more so a blessing for those who recognize that it's a blessing upon them. Right. And I think we use the example before, but I don't remember if it was in this Hanukkah or before Ramadan, the example of the person who's sick, right, a person who is sick, they realize now that this is let's just say, you know, they've been diagnosed with with some sort of illness. And Allah subhanho wa Taala is testing them with that hardship. Now

this person thinks,

you know, I've always been really, you know, practicing as the dean, I've always been connecting to Allah subhanho wa Taala I've always been praying, I've always been fasting, I've always been getting zeca All right. But then at the same time, they think, why, why did this come to me? Why did I get this this punishment or this illness? This, you know, this difficult moment, which a lot of people feel there's a punishment upon them, right? Why is it that I'm going through this, I've always done good, you know, towards Allah subhanho wa Taala I don't deserve this. And then they start to complain about, you know, someone who maybe was not worshiping Allah subhanho wa Taala, as someone

who was not as practicing a Muslim as they were, or they're not even a believer, in the oneness of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And yet they're enjoying their life. They're, you know, vacationing all the time, they have all the luxuries that you could possibly think of, and even more and so this person starts to think well, why what's the point? There's, there's no need for me to continue pushing myself look at what I've gotten from Allah subhana wa Tada, this is what I get from working so hard from dedicating so much of my life from sacrificing from striving so hard, this is the reward that I get from Allah Subhana Allah tan, so they sway away slightly from the deen. Some people even sway

far away from the deen, this same person, we sometimes go to the other extent, like I used the example last time I went to the other end of the spectrum, a person who wasn't practicing. But let's just say it's the same person who maybe was practicing, or possibly wasn't, you know, worshiping the last panel it at it, maybe it was not praying regularly, maybe it was not fasting, or maybe they work. But now they receive this illness. And they think Subhana Allah, this is a blessing. Why? Because I remember Allah subhana wa tada more. I recognize Allah subhanho wa Taala. I know that he's the one that gave me this illness. And there must be a reason why I received this. There has to be

some blessing, some Baraka some goodness that comes from this. And so how do we know that a person who's sick, a person who's ill, someone who doesn't feel well, even if it's a simple cough or a sore throat, a discomfort to the body, Allah subhanho wa Taala is removing the sins that we've committed in our past. Right, so a person who has an extreme or a severe type of illness, some sort of difficult moment where maybe even the doctors have told them you know what, you're not going to live for much longer. This time, this stage that you're at in your illness, you're not going to live for another three months, you're not going to live for more than six months, right? You have one to one

to six months to live. I know my

you know, my sister in law's future father in law just recently was given one to five months to live by the doctors. And Allah Subhana. Allah knows best. My wife's sister she was once diagnosed with with brain tumors. And the doctor said, You know what, you're at one of the last stages you only have about six months left to live, and she lived another three years after that. So Allah Subhana Allah, Allah is the one who controls the body and has the ability to remove the same illnesses that he put into the body. We see people so tantalize seen it, right where we go to Mecca,

and people right in front of the camera. I remember once I was there and handle an incident of a person who was pretty much paralyzed, literally walked out of their their wheelchair in front of the Capitol was making their eyes so sincerely to a loss of habitat. And the the emotion and affection of the family was like, everyone just stopped in the life everyone was just looking what on earth just happened here. And this person was crying in tears because they were standing for the first time in years, just stood up out of their wheelchair, so a loss of handle it and it has the ability to give people and to take from us and those that recognize what has been given to them from Allah

Subhana Allah to Allah know that this could be a blessing. This could be something that stops me from going to sin. This could be something that stops me from seeing sin. This could be something that stops me from engaging in sin in some way, shape or form. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala lets those who ponder who reflect to understand, know that this is a blessing from Allah subhana wa Taala

On two verses 68 to 70, Allah subhana wa tada here mentions the trumpet. Right and we discussed the trumpet to before. And so Allah mentions the blowing of the trumpet, which will signify the ending of the world or the ending of time as in the earth. And the blowing of the trumpet, as we mentioned, there's the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that the angels head is already bowed down, and he's ready and holding the trumpet ready to blow it ready to receive the command from Allah subhanho wa Taala.

And so that signifies the beginning of the day of judgment, from versus 71 to 74 Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions the disbelievers and how they will be led to help and we touched upon this yesterday, the disbelievers the those that don't believe in Allah Subhana Allah He will command the angels to go into gather them, and to lead them towards Johanna. But before they actually get to Jehan them, they will be stopped and told that they need to go through the questioning period. here Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions the disbelievers and how they will be led to hell. But then immediately afterwards a lot goes into the verses which touch upon the believers

and how the believers will be led to paradise and they will be given center. As mentioned in the verse they will be given Salaam they will be welcomed with a Salam or Aleikum, right or salaamu alaykum as Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in the Quran, and the gates of Paradise will be open for them and they will enter the gates of paradise. And it was mentioned by the scholars have to see it from obviously looking at the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam that the space between the two posts of the gates of Jenna right so this is a post and this is a post this space between the two posts of gender, the gates going into gender is the distance of traveling 40 years.

So to travel from this post to this post would take us 40 years to travel in order to get from one post to the other. That's how big the gates of the ark and I know some handle on the past few days in this mustard as well as in Milton when I go there and do you know the tough Kira.

you will be there forever, and he's thinking the earth, we live on Earth, then we'll get a reward. That's paradise. And while we're in Paradise, we have to do certain things to get another reward, which is going to be you know, something else was handled. I told him, No, you'll be there forever. He's like, what do you mean forever, like infinity and like, yeah, like infinity and beyond? So So kind of lost. That even in our youth in our children. You know, they wonder what is Jenna? How long will we be there? And then this one brother he was asking me afterwards about john num. He said, What about john them is john I'm going to be forever said yeah, jahannam is going to be forever as

well. And and then he started to ask questions to clarify. Like, how how, like, what, what is the time span of forever, there must be a time span like it has to end? And I said, No, it doesn't end last panels, Allah created it and has the ability to make it go forever. And he's given that quality to the afterlife, meaning after this life, when we move on into, you know, Jana and jahannam, the stage of that life, then Allah subhanho wa Taala made it eternal. For eternity, it just keeps going and going. That's how realize as human beings, we can't even comprehend it. I remember you know, many years ago, I sat there and I questioned the same thing. Like not questioned it but tried to

understand it, like, what's what's infinity? What, how long is it and so Subhanallah many of our youth, they sometimes sit there and try to figure this out. So lots of panels and I mentioned that those that believed will be led into paradise and they will be given Salam.

And then we move on in sha Allah to Allah to the next one. All right, we'll move on to the next one which is Surah number 40. Who knows what sort of it is?

and therefore, if we were to translate it, what is a half the forgiver and what is min the believer right? So Allah subhanho wa Taala. Here, in this verse talks about in this sort of talks a lot about belief, the belief between the believers as well as the non believers those that look

In the last panel with Allah, what is belief believing in the signs believing in Allah believing in the creation and so on and so forth. So Allah subhanho wa Taala begins this surah from verses one to three with forgiveness, as you see in the third verse of all of them be well, Camila Toby Shadi, the lyric, Bobby, this so Allah subhanho wa Taala highlights that he is the forgiver and Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions to us the importance of seeking forgiveness and Toba. Right? What is forgiveness? And what is Toba?

Why there's a lesson let's add a separate forgiveness and tell them

Okay, so what the brothers mentioned for those that didn't hear and those the sisters that can't hear.

Forgive forgiveness as as the brothers were saying is from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Right He forgives kind of like what I mean was it was mentioning that it's it's the the reaction or the outcome of your Toba but you're telling that itself is what you're making to a last panel attack. But Allah Subhana Allah as well as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam encouraged us to seek forgiveness. How do we seek forgiveness, because we're also encouraged to seek Toba? So what's the difference between forgiveness and Toba?

So forgiveness is like you're sitting there and you're asking Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive you, but Toba itself is a little bit more complex. tober obviously forgiveness comes from Allah subhanho Adana, but a lot accepts the Toba also, and that comes from Allah right. Now, Toba, you may have done something or we may have done something that was wrong and we wronged either someone else or ourselves or you know, we've done something against the will of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So we seek Toba and then we fulfill the conditions which is to leave off the the sin not to go back to the sin we hate the sin dislike it. If you've wronged anyone, then you go and you approach them and you, you

know, clarify it to them as well. But forgiveness is something you could simply do as you walk, you might not even know what you're asking forgiveness for. Right? You're just asking for forgiveness, because we constantly do sins, we're committing sins, small sins all the time. So to say a stone federal law, a struggle, federal law, a stone federal law is seeking forgiveness, right? But what are you saying I stole federal law front? Or for? What have you done that you're saying this stuff that a lot. Many of us don't know what we've done, but we've done little sins, so many that we can't count them, we can't remember them. They just become you know, they added into our book of, of

deeds. And so to constantly seek forgiveness is important. ask Allah Subhana Allah to forgive us to forgive us to forgive us to forgive us to forgive us, right? But then Toba itself is specific. Also, you're asking for Toba, you're repenting for something that you've done that you know that you've done, because you need to fulfill those conditions. Right? So you actually are aware of what you're doing here and Allah subhanho wa Taala highlights it in these first few verses in verse number three, and it's the month of Ramadan,

and the last 10 nights of Ramadan as well. And this is particular to an action that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to do, as I showed all the 11 hotels us the profits on longer and he was selling them during the last 10 nights. He would constantly say, what what would he constantly say Allahumma in NECA, our foun to hit Bula halfword fair for me, you're asking Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, Allah, you are the one who forgives, you forgive and you forgive greatly, right? Because you might say stuck for too long once Allah Subhana Allah forgives many of your sins. You love to forgive, to hate will laugh what you love to forgive Pharaoh for me, so forgive me. And

this is what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would constantly say, especially during these last 10 nights of Ramadan, or the last 10 days of Ramadan, and shadow the Allahu anhu as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, what should I do during these nights of Laila told others to try and calculate it to the other and he encouraged her to say this and to increase in is too far to increase in asking Allah subhanho wa Taala for forgiveness.

From in verse number seven Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions that the angels are holding his throne and they are praising Allah subhanho wa Taala. And here I just wanted to mention this verse simply because the surah itself is talking about belief. And so not only do the do the human beings believe, but the angels believe as well. The angels believe in Allah subhanho wa Taala the animals believe in Allah subhana wa tada every one of the creation of Allah believes in a lot, including Shabbat. As we highlighted that shavon believes in Allah subhanho wa Taala. Allah knows that Allah subhanho wa Taala is the creator. He knows that a laws punishment is severe. He knows that the power

of a lot is and supersedes anything that anyone could even think of and comprehend. But yet, we fail sometimes to turn to a loss of panel attack. So in this one, Allah mentions belief, and constantly highlights belief and how the angels themselves believe in a loss of habitat. And I think I mentioned this before during our halaqa, but I'll mention it to those that are here. That didn't come. Before I move on to our Friday, how long does

the the reaction of animals and how animals react to the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala Have any of you gone to the zoo before and recited or said something of the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala when you were there, right? Like saying the Shahada for example, my wife I remember when we got married Not long after we got married, she did this once. And ever since then she always does it whenever we go to Zoo whenever we see animals like horses and stuff like that. She'll say like that, you know, in the law, right? Just say something that reminds the animal of Allah subhana wa Tada. Or recite some verse of the Quran, recite sort of a class and watch the behavior of the animals. Try it when

you go to the zoo, go to the zoo this summer, take your children take you know your grandchildren, and go to the zoo and tell them say watch, we're going to do this, right? Try it with the lions, even if you can, right, so paddle. That's amazing. It's absolutely beautiful to see how the animals react when they hear the word of Allah subhanho wa Taala, or the name of Allah subhanho wa Taala, right? They just become so like calm and they turn their ear and they just want to listen, and like what is this? And you notice they were just doing their normal thing. But when you recite the verses of the Quran, they all of a sudden Listen, and we see it in the example of the profits of the past

like that Buddha has said so in a manner instead of when they would recite the praise of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, the animals would engage in it with them and with double dialysis and and even the man in the mountains would would you know, begin to praise Allah subhanho wa Taala and I know last night the children another question that they asked me, How does electricity praise Allah subhanho wa Taala because I mentioned to them about a week ago about the thunder and lightning and how the lightning creates the sound of thunder that the scientists teach us but Allah subhana wa tada as we took in the verses of the Quran, and sort of the light right What does the law say? That

what you suddenly have learned to be handy? Well melodica to increase it, that the thunder itself is praising Allah Subhana Allah to Allah and so the children were thinking, Okay, you know, trying to get smart with me, how does electricity praise Allah doesn't make sound right, there's no sound that comes out of it. Even though sometimes you walk by one of those old electricity you know, circuit boards and you're coming out of it, but the electricity or any other creation, worships or last panel data or praises Allah subhanho wa Taala in fulfilling its,

its its function. So in fulfilling its function, that's its praise of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So a lot gave the electricity the power to light up the lights and gave it the strength to, you know, power our digital gadgets and and to provide, you know, electricity and power to whatever is needed to use that electricity from right. That in itself is the praise of Allah subhanho wa Taala it's fulfilling the command that it was given by Allah subhanho wa Taala that's the praise of a lot. So in anything that we see, right like this, it's shiny, Mashallah looks nice, right? A lot of gave it the power to be shiny, and by it being shiny, it's fulfilling the commands of Allah subhana wa Tada.

If it was if it decided to become dope,

then it wouldn't be fulfilling the command of a law unless it was commanded by loss of hand with Allah to do that, right. And then it's also fulfilling the praise of Allah. So in anything, whatever item you see, whatever from amongst the creation, but you notice, and it's sitting there doing like, for example, your phone, I hate to use the phone because sometimes this phones are like, overused, but the phone itself was given to us and to serve a purpose and its purpose was given

Written are commanded by Allah subhanho wa Taala to fulfill that that purpose, and by doing so it's praising Allah subhanho wa Taala. right because it's fulfilling the command that it was given by its creator.

And so Allah subhana wa tada mentions the angels here, and how they are holding the throne of Allah subhanho wa Taala and praising Allah in verse number 14, and I can't see the clock so it's kind of throwing me off today. In verse number 14, Allah Subhana Allah commends us to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala alone, even if the circumstances are hard, so we took this in the previous sutra and a lot goes on to mention it a little bit here as well to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala meclizine Allahu Deen wello carry healthcare for your own. Even if the circumstances are hard to the extent that the non Muslims, the non believers are making it difficult upon you or they hate what you're doing. But

you continue to worship Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, Allah loves this. And we'll see at the very end right before we finish, how some of some of the methods and techniques of Dawa are highlighted in the Quran by Allah subhanho wa Taala.

Then in verses 18 to 20, Allah subhana wa tada warns about the day that we will stand before him and I want to read these verses in sha Allah and warn them of the day that draws near when hearts when hearts shall rise up to the throats, grieving inwardly. Now remember, when you're going on a roller coaster, right? You're in like, what's that Canada's Wonderland? Right? You're going in a roller coaster going up,

reaches the top and all of a sudden the roller coaster

comes down, right? What do you feel inside of you?

Where does your Where does your stomach go? in your throat, right? But why does that happen? Why does that happen?

Fear and so Allah subhana wa tada uses that analogy here. Right? That we would feel as though our stomachs are in our throats

out of fear, right of the punishment of Allah subhana wa tada and not wanting to be thrown into jahannam. And so Allah warns about the day that we will stand before him,

grieving inwardly the unjust shall not have any compassionate friend, nor any nor any intercessor who should be obeyed.

In verse number 19, Allah subhanho wa Taala says,

He knows the fraud of the eyes or the stealthy looks, and that which the the chest conceal. So Allah subhanho wa Taala knows what we see with our eyes and what we saw with our eyes during our life and what we use our eyes for. And Allah Subhana Allah mentions that he knows what we conceal inside of us the secrets that are inside of us. And therefore there's nothing that can stand or none that can stand before I lost some kind of what I learned from amongst us or any of the creation, right, that can hide something from Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, and on the Day of Judgment, Allah will, will reveal that which the hearts conceal.

Where's the waste? Okay.

Then the last panel with Allah mentions the heart and the throat and the fear and the chest and what it conceals, in verses 23 to 46 of us panelists and it goes into talking about Musa alayhis salaam, and how from amongst the family of fit our own there was a believing men, and this believing men was warning the people as well just like Masada has sent him was doing but

also this men he was a firm believer in Allah subhanho wa Taala. And he was from amongst the family of the fit our home, who else from the family of Iran was a believer.

His wife, right, his wife was a believer. And so the wife of Iran was also one who believed and we noticed this panel that she took Musa alayhis salam and brought him into their house and asked for their own. Maybe some goodness will come from to us from this boy, and what goodness came to her from this boy.

And so our other teachers told us that, you know, Mashallah, he did this in his graduation. And now many people know him as Sheikh Mohammed moqtada MPT, right so he bowed down and made such that a shocker to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And that is from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, anytime you're thankful to Allah, simply turn to Allah and bow down, do we have to face the good luck when we're making this such that?

Do we, if you know the direction, yes, if you don't know it,

then you don't have you know, it's not that big of a deal. You're bowing down to Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, but just make sure that if you know the direction of good luck, it's always best to make sujood in that direction. And if you don't make sure that there's nothing strange or odd in front of you, that you would be bowing down. And someone else might see you and say, hey, look at what this person is doing. He's bowing down to the sun in the direction of the sunset, and during, you know, the afternoon or, you know, he's bowing down to some statue or just be careful with regards to that staying away from the Google hat, things that when people would see you, they would assume something

of you. That was what the scholars of the past used to do. And a slight example, in our modern time to stay away from things that would look as though you're doing something that you're not doing is you know, those drinks, barbecuing, or Aziza or whatever they call them, those malt drinks that are

Zero alcohol, but it's a multi drink that are still held to drink. But what type of bottle did they put it in? They put it in a glass bottle that resembles

a beer bottle, right? It resembles a beer bottle. And so, so kind of like those bottles, imagine you're sitting outside,

and you're drinking from it. And then a Muslim walks by, or a non Muslim walks by and says, Look at that Muslim,

or non Muslim walks by and says, Hey, look at that guy. There's a Muslim, he's drinking alcohol. I thought they weren't allowed to do that. Right? And so you might just be drinking this, this malt drink, right? Or any drink that's put inside that bottle. I know, even Santa is put in that bottle in like the Middle East, right? But people see it and they think, oh, that's alcohol because the bottle itself right away in people's minds across the world resembles a bottle of alcohol, a bottle of beer. And so the scholars of the past would make sure that even with little things like that, not in this example, this is a modern day example that I gave you. But in slight things like that, that

you're drinking, consuming something that's highlighted permissible, you can drink it, there's nothing wrong with it. But because of the shape of the bottle, it gives the liquor someone who's seeing you doing that, the impression that you're committing a sin, and so they would stay away from that.

thanking Allah Subhana Allah to Allah for allowing them to recognize that this is something that if I stay away from it's better for me and the rest of the Ummah, you're staying away from spreading a fitna, right. So Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in the example of the scholars of the past, many examples of how we can go the extra distance to try and please Allah subhanho wa Taala that are according to the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and not going against the Sunnah, nor implementing something new. Now again, if someone wants to drink the drink, by all means, go ahead and drink it. Right? There's no alcohol in it. As long as there's no alcohol in it,

it's fine. It's holiday, right? But my advice is, don't drink it publicly. Simple. Buy it, put it in a bag, in the supermarket, bring it home, drink it inside your house, drink it in a place where not many people can see you. Right? That way. You're not in public and you're not giving this image to people that they're thinking Oh, look at you, you're committing a sin, you're doing something that's wrong, right? So Allah Subhana Allah to Allah has given us wisdom, right? And he tells us to do lsvt a lot bigger bill Heckman one more a vertical has center was the ideal home realty here. So when you call people to Islam, a lot of our calling to Islam, as we mentioned is through our actions. And

Okay, so the dua okay. Yeah, that goes back to what you're talking about. When you're in such that, Oh, do I in general, does it have to be in Arabic? No, it doesn't have to be in Arabic. It can be in any language, whatever language you're capable of communicating with Allah subhanaw taala communicate, right? That's that's a good question, because that comes

from verses 61 to 65. And this is very interesting, because as I was writing my notes today, I was falling asleep. So my writings kind of slurred, right? So verses 61 to 65. Allah subhanho wa Taala highlights the signs of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Right. But there's two that I wanted to highlight here are mainly two in shot lontana. One of them is shapes. Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about shapes. And in this verse, he mentioned shapes which looked good, so shapes and shapes that he's given us that look good. And imagine Allah Subhana, Allah to Allah has created us in such a beautiful form. And everything around us is created in such beautiful forms as well.

Except the things that we might not be so interested in, and that's a personal choice, right? That's a personal choice. Just like in the example of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, when he was served once, the Bub which is the lizard, right, the lizard, so the Prophet sallallahu, Alayhi, wasallam was served it, he didn't take from it, he didn't eat it, but he didn't say I don't like this. He just passed it off to the Sahaba and let them eat it, showing us that it's healthy eat because if it wasn't, he wouldn't be giving it to the Sahaba it wouldn't be giving it to the companions, but at the same time, he didn't want to eat it. Maybe it was something that he disliked

to eat and was not fond of eating. So he refused to take from it and he didn't refuse us and say no, I don't want this. I'm not going to eat it. I don't like it. He simply passed it off to someone that might like it, that would eat it. So Allah Subhana Allah says in these verses,

That he created shapes. Imagine if we were created in our eyes or behind our head or our eyes were on the top of our head right the shape the form that we were created in so perfect so beautiful. Mashallah, right we know there's beautiful because we know that from amongst us within the human beings, the males are attracted to the females and we're attracted to what we're attracted to each other in terms of what we see as well. It's not only attraction isn't Oh, Mashallah, she's so pious. No, it's the attraction of what we see. And Allah has made that halaal for us as well. So Allah created the shapes for us to enjoy. And we can notice that in a more common example, how people run

quickly to get the new iPhone all the time because the new shape is is appealing to them. But so panela then Samsung comes along and makes the phone look just like the apple and then people start to buy the Android because it's so much better anyways, right? So then Allah subhana wa tada highlights the the ozone layer,

not the ozone layer, specifically, but the sky. And Allah subhanho wa Taala, in these verses talks about the sky, and how he's created the sky as a canopy, a canopy that protects us. And in the sky, is that canopy known as what the ozone layer, and many other layers, and in it is assigned from a loss of habitat. I know when we were young, I used to think of this when they were teaching us in school, you know, you have to respect the environment, and the ozone layer is starting to deplete and there's holes in the ozone layer. And I was like, how is there a hole in the ozone there? Like it's how is their hole? I don't get it. And somehow my brain just couldn't compute it. Like I just

even till today, we can't really comprehend it fully. Because it's a creation of a loss of kind of talent that he's put there. How is the ozone layer hovering above us? Now some people are gonna say it's gas and different gases will stay at different levels because of density and pressure and, okay, but Allah Subhana Allah did that. None of us can do it. Right? It's there. Can we replace that ozone layer? Can we replace it, once it's burnt out, or any part of the Skype that we damage know who can replace it Allah subhanho wa Taala we can try and come up with solutions to patch the issue to fix the problems which are not going to fix them. It's not going to reproduce anything. It's only

So it's important for us to when we speak to them and tell them and let them know that I'm concerned about you because your Creator, is the exact same creator as my Creator. Your Lord is the same as my Lord. You might not know it yet, right? Don't just say your Lord is the same as mine. You can say, oh, Praise Jesus or something, right? No, or yes will be law, right? They they might misunderstand. So when you tell

them your Lord is the same as my Lord, let them know that you might not know it, they might not know it yet, but their Lord is Allah subhanho wa Taala had he created them and he expects something from them as well, that they worship Him and none other than Allah subhanho wa Taala add in verses nine to 12.

Allah mentions his signs in the creation of the earth, right His signs in the creation of the earth when he was creating the earth, and how he created it in the days that he created it. But what I wanted to highlight here in verse number 12, because we mentioned yesterday, the stars and how Allah subhanho wa Taala created the stars, and he put them in the sky, and he uses them as rujuta, manly shayateen he throws them at the shape on those that try to

sway away from what they're supposed to do or have been given the permissibility to do. So Allah subhanho wa Taala uses those stars to throw it the shape on and those are the shooting stars that we mentioned you see in the sky, but here Allah Subhana Allah mentions that again, right that the stars are for protection to or not protection to safeguard the shape on

from harming the human beings as well as trying to go into the zones that they are not permitted to go into from the skies, the levels of the skies, but also Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in verse number 12, that they are lamps, that there are lamps that he uses in the sky, and they're a beauty for us to look at and they shine down on us. So Allah subhanho wa Taala use them and place them in the sky like lamps just like we look at the sky of the building, which is the ceiling and we see this the lights which are the stars in the sky, right. So Allah subhana wa tada has beautified the world for us in various different ways. vs 25 to 29 Allah subhanho wa Taala

he, he highlights the fact that some of us have friends, right and from amongst our flat are our friends, we might have friends who are disbelievers. Right. And you'll notice that those who are disbelievers amongst themselves as friends,

they make sins attractive to each other. And so Allah mentions that did not the non believers, those that are not fearing of Allah subhanho wa Taala of his punishment, when they transgress the limitations of the Sharia, or of the decree of Allah subhanho wa Taala he may he must pan with Allah says that they beautify. They make sins attractive to one another. Now I want to highlight a few because there's some youth here. So remember, whenever anyone tries to distract you from Allah subhanho wa Taala tries to take you away from the Islam that your parents have taught you and try to, you know, teach us as we were growing up, remember when it comes to things like alcohol, alcohol

is a sin, right? Allah has forbid it. But what do friends do? They make it seem like it's okay. It's fine. It's nothing. Don't worry, everything's gonna be alright. Right? And then it's kind of like I remember there was a brother in another mustard quite a few months ago who mentioned this to me as an example. And he told me I could use this to tell them listen to me. This is a brother who every time I go to the masjid I see him there. Right. He's a father. He works

And Mashallah, you know, he's always in the masjid every time I go to the masjid he's there, or that particular Masjid. And he went through a stage in his life where he was working, and his job called for regular meetings. And they would go on, you know, meetings, business trips, on those business trips, all the employees would get together and have dinner, a lot of the time, they would have dinner in places where alcohol is served like bars. And so he's like, we used to go in and sit down, and my friends would tell me, you know, don't, don't worry, just take a glass of wine, it's okay. It's just a glass of wine. Nothing's gonna happen. And he's like, for years, I literally pushed it

off for years. But eventually shavonne gets to you. And he said, eventually, I tried just just one glass of white wine. Just took a sip, like, nothing. It's like grape juice, right? It's nothing. All right. And so he tried it, he goes, I didn't feel anything. So I drank the whole glass.

And then it felt weird. But then he said, once you drink it once you realize, okay, wasn't so bad. I felt weird, but it wasn't so bad. So the next day, you go to your meetings again, and you have another glass of wine, and then you realize, eventually you're drinking wine regularly. Right? And then you try something else, and then you try something else. And he said, some kind of I had to, I had to literally shake myself. And you know, when someone grabs you and shakes you, he's like, I had to, like shake myself and tell myself, What on earth are you doing? Like, have you forgotten for years, you put this off. And then Subhanallah, he realized he had to change not only his profession,

but who he worked with and where he worked, and so on and so forth, just to safeguard him from going back into committing that sin. And so it's a reality. alcohol, drugs, you take it once you feel good, you go back to it, you feel good, you feel good, but the reality is, once you come out of it, you realize I feel so much better now that I don't take this stuff. Then those days when I would take it and feel like everything's fine. You realize that you can think straight, you realize that so panela that was only beautified by my friends to make me feel that it was going to be good, but it's actually a sin and is displeasing to Allah subhanho wa Taala And that applies to many things

boyfriend girlfriend, even cigarettes, right friends make you feel like you're you're cool if you if you smoke cigarettes, you're cool, right? You'll be accepted in society. But Subhana Allah, Allah mentions how the friends who are non believers who don't care about what Allah subhana wa tada says, they will distract you by making you feel that the sins are good and attractive, having an interest in things that take us away from Allah subhanho wa Taala verse number 3232, and we'll conclude in a couple of minutes in sha Allah to Allah, verses 30 to 32.

Here Allah subhana wa tada mentions good news for the believers, those who believe right, he says
