Ramadan Tafseer Night 23

Ramadan Tafseer Night 23
June 27, 2016
Saw a door najem corner man and working hard and solid two headed so from Sora dawn, which is the 52nd surah of the Quran, all the way until the end of surah two Howdy. And we begin in sha Allah Allah to Allah so Allah door, which is known as the Mount, and we'll see how a loss of Hannah Montana begins to sort out itself Bismillah
wakita
Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us by the mount and by a book inscribed and here Allah is taking an oath. He's taking an oath, just as we'll see at the beginning of Searles little governor, sort of to najem Allah subhanho wa Taala is taking an oath by that which he created. And I didn't mention I mentioned it earlier during our FCS we spoke about the hurdle from bat but we did not speak about the creation of Allah and how a lot takes an oath by it or he swears by it. So Allah subhanho wa Taala for example, in sort of to further qualify, john was chumps will go welcome sorry that Allah when Allah Allah subhana wa tada swears by his creation, are we allowed to do that?
Are we allowed to do that? No, we're not so we're not allowed to swear or take an oath by the creation of a loss of Hannah Montana. We are not allowed to take an oath by anything except Allah subhanho wa Taala Okay, so we don't swear by you know, even our Pinkie You know, when I don't know when I was young, we used to say Pinky swear and mute you know, people would put their pinkies together and I don't know what it meant if you broke your your oath. Are you supposed to break the other person's finger or something? I don't know what it meant to release. But it was just a childhood thing where you Pinky swear. Sometimes people say you know I swear
by the life of my mother or swear, you know, swear swear by your mom.
What happens if you break that oath? Right? What are you supposed to do? And so here we see that we swear by Allah subhana wa tada we take an oath solely with Allah. However, because he created everything that exists, he is allowed to take an oath by the things that he created. Okay, those are his creation and he controls his creation as He wills in verses number one to nine Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us the descriptions leading to or descriptions of things that are related to I should say, related to the Day of Judgment.
And so we see the mount the book, in in parchment spread open and by the frequented house baitul Mountain, l'amour, what is made to the bar more
than that, you know, date cookie, no.
grains. All right, and what did you say? I didn't hear what you said.
Okay, so it's, it's where it's the place where the angels gather? Yes. Okay. And they come in, they gather and they communicate with Allah subhanho wa Taala was sucked filmer for and by the heaven raised Hi, and Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on by the sea which is filled. And indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur of it, there is no preventer. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us from verses one to nine, things which are pertaining to the Day of Judgment, and he highlights there, how Subhanallah the earth or the heaven will sway in a circular motion, the skies will will shake. And one of the other things that we'll see as well, that happens to the earth, it
gets destroyed, but the mountains themselves become dust, they crumble to the extent that they are just dust. There's nothing left of it. And somehow when you think of it, that's that's really interesting, because we know, for anything that is high above the ground, that is natural, like for example, you see an iceberg, how much of the iceberg is under the ground
more than what's right and so I think it's one ninth, or if I'm not mistaken, one 10th is above ground, and then nine tenths of it is below the ground right under the water. And similarly with mountains of * or whatever you see above the ground, there's a huge structure of it underneath the ground. Why? Because Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us what to understand. The mountains are what hold the Earth's crust together. It's what keeps the form of the earth together. And so the mountains themselves will be destroyed. Now if the mountains are destroyed, then obviously there's going to be loads of chaos on earth. And we see how just a few you know a decade ago when we saw the
tsunami that hit the coast of Sri Lanka and Indonesia and Thailand, etc. What happened there there was a shift underneath
The water of the earth, the Earth's crust, right just shifted under the water. But that little shift underwater creates this huge ripple effect that ended up there ended up being this massive, like wave tidal wave that's just coming in. And so kinda I remember, you know, people telling me stories of it the water where they were swimming in the beach just disappeared, like it just started to recede and it went in. And that was because of the shift in the in the in the plates underneath the water and it sucks the water down and draws it down and then what happens it builds up and then it just comes right back in. So how about just something small like that just the shift in in the
Earth's crust. Now imagine if the mountains become dust, what happens to the earth? So Allah Subhana Allah, you know, he's, he's informing us that the Earth itself will shake violently, and the mountains will crumble to dust in verses number 21 and 28.
And I'm going to go a little bit quickly at the beginning, inshallah, because we're going to focus more on some of the others
as we move on through our halaqa today, in verses number 21, to 28 of swords of total, for those that just joined us the 52nd surah of the Quran, Allah subhanho wa Taala says and mentions there from 21 to 28, that the righteous and their children who believe will be elevated in status in gender. So Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us one Latina man, what,
sorry, when Edina mn what Deb Aaron Lee to be
on, and those who believe from their children as well. So not just the the righteous believers and their children, no, but the righteous believers and those who believe from amongst their children, because we know that we see it happening around us, we live in Canada, we can see that as times change, you know, we have very good Muslim families practicing but there might be one or two children, that's how this is, you know, the decisions that they make and they move themselves or turn away from Allah subhana wa Tada. And so Allah mentions here that the righteous who believe and their family members, they will be reunited, they will be placed together in gentlemen. Now, before
they reach Geneva, what's going to happen, they won't be united, they might see each other and we see how a person would go from one family member to another as we'll take on the last day in sha Allah during our tough seeing how a person will go from their mother to their father to their you know, brother and sister and spouse and their children. And they will ask their their relatives, you know, just give me one good deed, all I need is one good deed just one. And what will they tell them enough's enough. See, I'm sorry, today you're on your own, and I'm on my own. I don't know if I'm going to go to Paradise. And I'm not going to busy myself worrying about you. I spent my time with
you and you know, in this worldly life, and now it's just me, myself and I, I need to stand before a lot. I'm not sure if I'm going to be successful. And so yes, we will see our relatives no doubt, but somehow we have no guarantee that we will all reach Jenna, but those that do reach agenda, Allah subhana wa tada reassures us and calms our hearts, letting us know that those that our agenda that enter gentlemen, they will see their family members and he will elevate them in status in agenda in paradise.
last panel, which had also describes gentlemen, so that the disbelievers here in these verses from 21 to 28, so that the disbelievers when they hear the verses about Jenna so let's just go through it. He mentioned in verse number 22. And we will provide for them fruit and meat from whatever they desire. Whatever you want to eat. It doesn't matter what type of fruit it is, whatever you feel, you know, interests you from the fruits of gender. Now don't think it's the fruits of Earth. It's the fruits of gender, right? So on Earth, someone might say, ooh, I don't like you know, Dorian, how many of you know what Dorian is? Okay, a few of us know,
durian, Mashallah. It's said to be the king of fruit. It is the king of fruit. That's what it's called durian the king of fruit. Yeah.
It's forbidden from entering hotels.
So those that live in Southeast Asia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, I used to live there. It's a fruit that somehow when you walk into the grocery store, or you're in the shopping mall in the shopping mall, has a grocery store. You can smell it even as you're walking through the shopping mall. And it's so strong this smell. And when you see it, it's it's it looks like a melon and it has spikes on it. Right? And you you actually you know have a hard time touching it. So Pamela, and they use gloves and they use a machete and they chop it open and inside it when you open it It smells even worse. It smells like you know fried spoiled onions and garlic all mixed together. It's really
like a strong, strong scent.
So hello when you put the fruit in your mouth and you taste it Oh, Mashallah beautiful flavor, absolutely sweet, really, really nice flavor, but to get it from your hand to your mouth is difficult. But Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in general you can have whatever you want of the fruits of genda not of the fruits of this earth. And even if there's something from this earth that you wished and desired, you would have done that you could have it now imagine having a durian that smelled good as well. And it smelled even better than it tastes so Camelot alone could give us whatever you want. You crave you know the most awesome steak or you're craving the
the best type of biryani that when you eat 10 pounds of it you don't feel like you ate anything right? Or the most beautiful sweets you know, that led to the chump jam you eat it's a pallet you put the whole thing in your mouth and it just explodes with flavor in your mouth. So how about whatever you want you'll have an agenda. And Allah subhanaw taala goes on, they will exchange with one another the family members those engender they will exchange with one another a cup of wine, they're in results, no ill speech or commission of sin. So a person will drink wine and it's a wine that is non intoxicating. We have that now on earth right?
But it's not the same kind I was in I was in the UK
and I won't mention names of anyone that was with me just for the sake of the recording because then people say oh Mashallah, you know, so we were at this restaurant and the owner of the restaurant he gives us this bottle he says, Look, this came from Mexico, from Mexico to the UK and we haven't seen it in Canada. And in the glass on the glass jar itself, the bottle it's engraved handed in Arabic, right Hello. And on the front it says you know tequila and you know all these all these different names of alcoholic beverages that people order in bars and clubs. I I can't remember more than tequila right now. If I remember another one I'll let you know. But so kinda he had all these
different kinds and was like you know, different kinds and different colors, non alcoholic zero alcohol 0% 0.00% alcohol in it. And I took pictures of it actually have the pictures on my phone. So Pamela, how you know people now have these non alcoholic alcoholic beverages.
And so So, in general, Allah will give us wine to drink and no sin will come from it and no one will lose their mind you will not become you know, intoxicated that you don't know what you're saying you don't know where you're going. You don't know. You know what you're doing, you will be able to drink and to drink and to drink and consume this fruit their beverage because really that's what wine and beer and all these intoxicants are they're fruit beverages that have fermented, you'll be able to enjoy the flavors of the fruit without having any sort of side effects or feelings and a loss of Hannah huzzah Hannah carries on.
They will circulate amongst themselves boys you know servants that will help them as if they were pearls protected, etc. Allah subhanho wa Taala goes on and we'll see quite a few of the descriptions of agenda tonight in sha Allah, we move on to the next one surah to natural which is the 53rd surah of the Quran.
I need to stretch my back to this I think this is making me slouch. So I'm going to put it higher so I'm forced to sit higher and Shama
hey
I'm feeling it I'm feeling it in me It
stands Ramadan you know you're starting to feel tired your body's weakening. So not to mention which is the 53rd disorder of the Quran in the first four verses Allah subhana wa tada again shows us an example of how he takes an oath by what
what is he taking an oath by? One night Jimmy, Elijah how
the star so sudo to najem is the start right? In this sorta and the first four verses Allah subhana wa to Hana shows us how the companion your companion Mohammed has not strayed. Now here he's highlighting Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, showing the moose raccoon, those that disbelieved that the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam you used to call him a saw, they will I mean, the truthful, the trustworthy, the one who would never tell a lie, the one who walked through the carrabba or walk through, you know, coming closer to the gamba, and they said, the next person that comes will be the one to place the order to decide how we're going to put the Blackstone back onto
the cargo. Right and Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam walks in and the tribes that were there, they agreed to let him be the one who would decide and he said, Okay, let's take this piece of cloth and put the black stone in the middle and all the leaders of the tribes will hold the edges of the cloth, and we will walk together all together so they will all take part in bringing it so he was someone who brought wisdom. Someone who was
truthful someone who did not lie someone who helped others. He was not someone who was judgmental. He looked after people and was always going out of his way for others.
Now here Allah subhana wa tada reminds the machete goon, right? That he is your companion. He's from amongst you. He's one of yours, who you trusted who you said to him when he asked you, if there's an army behind this mountain right now, which mountain was he standing on?
suffer, he goes up suffering we know suffer is not that big of a mountain. It's you know, like a hill. And he calls out to Mr. shovel. He calls out the people have monka. And they come closer. And he says, If I was to tell you that there's an army right behind me behind this mountain right now, who's ready to come and attack us? Would you believe me? Of course, we would believe you. Right? Of course, we would believe you. But then he says, I have been instructed to tell you about the oneness of a loss of power with Anna Oh, right away that we don't believe this. We believe you that an army would come and attack us but we don't believe you in this. Why? That's because they had selective,
you know, I wouldn't say selective hearing, but they they they believed in what they wanted to believe in. And so here Allah Subhana, Allah gives them an example he is from you. He's the one that you trusted. Listen to him, the message he's giving you is the truth. But they didn't believe Subhana Allah in verse number 38, of the surah
when we skipped through because we have to, are covering quite a few soil today. In verse number 38, Allah subhanho wa Taala. That gives us a beautiful example. I left as he was, you know,
that no bear of burdens no human being that could take the burden of another will actually bear the burden of someone else. No human being none of us on the day of judgment will take the burden of another person. Similarly, like we said earlier, shavon as a loss of counterweights, Anna showed us in the Quran will not be someone who we can pass the blame off to. So you know, I committed this sin. That's because shavon wanted me to do it, blame him, don't blame me, punish him, don't punish me. No, you can't do that. And Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us here, no one will carry your burden. You know, someone might use an example in a Masjid and we see it during the month of Ramadan, people
come and get upset, they get upset with parking, they get upset with the the temperature in the masjid, they get upset with maybe, you know, the thought they get upset with the Mark deki fee and taking up an entire row. And in the back of the mustard, there's a lot of things that people will point fingers at and get upset with others, right? And this is a time of the year where people will say Allah is going to, you know, allow will take justice on you. This is how long What are you doing this is how long and so kind of people come and and make these statements all the time. Almost every single day someone comes to me and I said this a few nights ago and Milton, you know, about 10
people before Sala before Russia and I came only five minutes early. About 10 people had come to me and said, Well, you know, you should say this, you should say that you should come You know, tell people to dress properly tell people not to wear shirts with you know, pictures on the back of it because it distracts us tell people to wear socks on their feet because their feet smell tell people not to come to the mustard with shorts, tell people not to scratch themselves a lot while they're praying. All of these things they came and asked me before Sala so that I could announce to the people. So however we would end all we would spend the whole night talking about, you know how
people should be when they come to the masjid rather than in taraweeh. Right or in the recitation of the Quran. And so Subhana Allah here is a prime example during this month of Ramadan,
how people will come with their own emotions. And see this is how long, what's happening is how what you're doing is how what this person is doing is how everything's hot off. So nothing is Hana except the food that you're eating. That's the only thing that's had. And we spend so much time emphasizing on what's helpful and what's wrong in terms of our food, that we don't spend enough time educating ourselves and what is permissible for us in our Deen in our everyday life in what we do our interactions, how do we pray? How do we speak to others? How do we come and and you know, stand before Allah subhanho wa Taala How do I buy? How do I sell? How do I trade? How do I earn? How do I
you know live, etc, etc. All of these things of how we need to learn. And here also palitana shows us You will not carry the burden of someone else. Someone who makes a mistake who may be accusing you of something that's not that is not even true. Not even right. Don't worry about it. Remember a few nights ago we took the verses of Allah subhanho wa Taala and how he was telling the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, the prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam not to worry about what the people say about him. Don't worry about what they say about you. Right? Just continue to worship Allah subhana wa jal pray at night. Seek patience from Allah Subhana Allah to Allah seek comfort. In
fact, we took those verses last night just as we were finishing, seek comfort with Allah subhanho wa Taala
Pray in the morning, pray in the evening, turn to him and remember Him, He will make everything easy for you. Similarly, we apply that to ourselves.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was someone who faced a lot of criticism from the community, from not mainly the Muslim community, from the non Muslim community of Medina, right, of Medina, and us in our masajid, you will see that we all face criticism of various different sorts, you will see someone who's Pakistani who an Arab brother is complaining about you see someone who is Arab who have Pakistani brothers complaining about or about Gandhi, or srilankan, or wherever I'm just using two simple examples. I don't want anyone to take offense. Why? Because I'm half Pakistani, and I lived in an Arab country for many years, almost a decade. And so I know Subhana Allah, in our
cultures, there's different things. someone likes to stand with their head, or sorry, with their feet, let's use the feet example, with their feet this this far apart from each other. And then the person standing next to them says, No, how long? Why are you doing that your feet need to be touching. So your foot needs to touch my foot, and they will be hunting the other person's foot down, so that they could step on and this person will move away and that person will step on this person move away that person, you know, it's like a game where your pinky toes are touching each other. So kinda. And instead of praying sada, we're like having these Pinkie wars
with our toes. So have a look.
So we see here how we need to be people that don't get offended with each other. One person understands one Hadith explained to them by scholars, which is a valid opinion, and another person understand something explained by scholars, which is a valid opinion with both of them having proofs from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, nothing wrong there. It's a matter of communication. There's no height, and I know that you you want your foot to be touching my foot. Yeah. What are you talking about? shaytaan is coming between us? No one Oh, chill out, relax. Wait, before we get to shape on, let me explain to you, Shannon is coming to me because you're putting
your foot on my toe.
What do you mean, say that is coming to you, because you're distracting me in my prayer. So one person needs to simply explain to the other, and then the person who doesn't get distracted, it doesn't bother them. You might tell them you know what,
I never knew this. I never knew that, you know this, the space between our shoulders is bad and we should be touching each other our shoulders need to be touching, I won't go to the feet because there's lots and lots of difference of opinion. In fact, I follow the opinion of the scholars who said that the touching of the foot or the explanation of the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when the Sahaba were standing and it's it was like their feet were touching. And that's why I said it was like their feet was were touching or the ankles were touching etc. and their heels were touching is describing the straightness of the rope and not describing the touching of each
other. And this was taught to us by Sheikh Mohammed mythology, PT and his students as well we went to them for clarification. And Allah subhanho wa Taala knows best.
But here we see how people argue amongst each other. And then they will say on the Day of Judgment, Allah will take revenge against you right? Allah will punish you for what you did no no one will carry the burden of another person. That person might say hello you don't want me to you don't want me to to keep my foot away from you fine. I will put my foot next to yours and Allah knows best Allah is going to take you know justice upon us in this situation. No, relax, chill. Okay, let's educate ourselves first. And don't blame others and don't say this is hot on the other day some kind of someone came to me and was complaining in another in another mustard was complaining about how
the demands of the mustard are all going to Johanna. Mashallah, do you pray behind them? Why do you pray behind these imams? If they're all going to join them? Then why did you come to this Masjid? And he's like, no, how long? If it's hot on and they're hot on and they're going to jahannam Why are you coming to pray here? Then? Why don't you lead the solder? Okay, so so kinda and that in. And really, if I was to tell you what he was complaining about, you would laugh, but I'm not going to. I'm not going to for the sake of keeping that person anonymous, completely anonymous. I don't even want to indicate what the person was saying. A supernova. You know, it's really interesting how
people say that. And what's what's the reality behind it is that you're backbiting this email without ever going to his face and telling him I think what you're doing is wrong. And allowing him to clarify why he's doing what he's doing.
Right? So it's important for us to understand that Allah subhanho wa Taala wants us, you know, to come together, no one will carry the burden of another person. If you're doing what's right islamically continue to do what you're doing. If you're doing what's right. And you know, it was done according to the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, continue doing what you're doing. If someone criticizes you, don't worry about it. Just
You know, either brush it off, let it go. If you're someone that holds on to it, let it go and ask someone maybe to clarify for you or for that person, we move on into Serato combat, which is the 54th surah of the Quran.
In surah, Surah tokomaru, Allah subhana wa Tada, which is titled the sort of the moon. He shows us in the first verse, this splitting of the moon.
It will tell on that he's had to one
shot, Obama, The hour has come near and the moon has split and the moon has split into the moon has split into what is that referring to?
shall come up but what incident
when did the moon split?
When the profits are longer, and he was send them was asked by the machinery Kuhn to show us a sign. And he showed them the sun, the moon, look at the moon and the moon split right in front of them, right? Did they believe? No, they didn't believe so Panama. And that's another example of how this not the Sahaba the prophets and messengers have a loss of power with data from verse number nine, it goes into new alayhis salam. And it continues to talk about that throughout for the rest of the surah of how the prophets and messengers of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Nor the people have some mood that people have looked at his center fear around, which is the time of musalla his setup, the crash
of the time of Mohammed Salah, and he was sending them, all of them were warned about the end of time. And all of them were given signs they were given, you know, things that they could see and believe in. So Canada they didn't believe right? They didn't believe
in the first verse. What I wanted to mention here also is that a lot of how it's and it shows us that the moon has been split. And the splitting of the moon is one of the signs of the Day of Judgment.
And he teaches us that there, that hour has come near it's coming close. Why? Because the moon has already split. It's one of the signs of the day of judgment that has already occurred. It took place, the splitting of the moon. And so it's important for us to remember whenever we see this, and we explained this before, but I know there's some that weren't here, whenever we see a sign that also panda with Allah mentions in the end of the hour, getting closer the Day of Judgment, the last, the last moments of this world getting closer, it's important for us to listen closely and to understand Wait a second, it's time for me to change it's time for me to do things differently in my
life. And I'm humbled as the month of Ramadan This is the month where we do change where we feel the change within us and hamdulillah it's you know been easy for us to do so throughout this entire month. And we tried to carry on after the month is over a few of them a few of the actions and the the rabada that we would do throwing them alone. We tried to carry them on outside or after Ramadan as well.
Let's move on in sha Allah Tada. I mentioned the next part already about the prophets. So you see from verse number nine, nor Allah has Cena and he deals with his people and and you know, so on and so forth loot that people have assembled soliday etc add they're all mentioned there in in the remainder of the slot sort of trauma, we have three more suitors to go through a job in sort of total Han
Allah subhanho wa Taala begins the surah and we know this is one of the most beautiful sort of the Quran, right? We all love to hear sort of ohana and it flows so beautifully as well. And Allah subhana wa tada we know when he says For me, he
you know be come to Academy.
He says this over and over throughout the school for us to you know, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, why is he mentioning it over and over? Whenever a loss of haddaway Tana goes over something or mentions it two times, three times four times in the Quran multiple times, it means there's something important for us to focus on.
Musa alayhis salam is mentioned the most in the Quran And out of all the other prophets and messengers mentioned so many times by name in the Quran, right? There's lessons in his life that we can, you know, spend months learning how to love and it's really an interesting story that Allah subhanho wa Taala keeps reiterating throughout the Koran. But here of us of Hannah Montana shows us and sought after Ramadan, which is the surah titled the you know, the the Vanessa center the Most Merciful. He begins a sauna
In these first four verses,
he shows us that he taught the
man
who is
Allah, when we name a child out of ramen, he is the servant of Allah, the Most Merciful. And so, whenever we see a ramen is referring to Allah Subhana Allah to Allah himself. So he begins up man, the Most Merciful, I love God. He taught the Quran, it is his words, the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala These are his words. And he is the first teacher.
When we think of it, you know, people say, you know, I want this net is that as in a chain of narrators or chain of reciters, who recited the Quran, and you go to that teacher, and you recite to him or to her, and he or she teaches you the Quran, and then they give you a jazza or they give you an ad at the end, and they say, You have now recited the Quran, and I approve of your recitation of the Quran because my recitation was approved by so and so person. And then they give you this list of people that approved their recitation. So they read to their teacher and that teacher and this teacher going all the way back to who, to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but who taught
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the Quran
came from Allah subhana wa tada Of course through Djibouti Lani his Salaam or through Ye, as we know, and we heard that a few nights ago. And so the very first teacher of the Quran is who? Allah Subhana Allah Tada. When you recite the Quran, you are not reciting the book that was given to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you are reciting the words of Allah subhana wa Tada. We don't really realize that when we recite it, we recite it and we think oh, this is the quote and it was revealed to Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam through the angel gibreel house, we leave it at that. But we actually don't realize that these are the words of Allah. And when we learn about the Quran, we
understand in our mind, okay, yes, these are the words of Allah. This is what I was telling us. Allah says this, and Allah says that, and you see how, at the beginning of almost every sword I say, in this surah, Allah says, and in this verse, Allah subhanho wa Taala teaches us this and you know, he's teaching us Yes, but these are the words of Allah. You are saying when Allah subhanho wa Taala, you know, put in the book for us to learn. These are the words of Allah subhana wa Tada, we need to recite them beautifully. But be careful of reciting them in a way that displeases Allah subhanho wa Taala as well. There are people and it's growing, it is a growing trend, where the end is being
recited with musical instruments as well inquires with massive bands playing. Yes. And it's it's the reality of our time it's happening, where people are coming in reciting the end, like it's opera, you know, opera is all this weird, you know, sounds that they make, and the reciting it like that with a massive orchestra in front of them. And I don't want to say where because you're simply going to go and Google it and find it, but it's happening, and it's a sad reality of our time. And they're playing instruments and there's massive, you know, people doing all these acoustics in the back with their, with their with their voice as well. This is not the way that the Quran was meant to be
recited. It was meant to be recited as a loss of habitat. It tells us what a detail or an attack Tila pronounce it properly. You don't need to sing it it's we don't sing the Quran and this is why when people ask us you know, read the Quran we say we don't read the Quran we recite the Quran when we read it. It's usually because we're not reading it with our mouth. We're just reading it like a book. But we recite the Quran Do you recite Harry Potter? You know, pick it up and hurry you know, you know, recite it? You don't? There's no recitation of those books. You read them. But look when we recite we don't seem we don't seem so non Muslim. Sometimes they say, Oh, we heard this beautiful
song you were singing What is it? I was not singing. I was reciting. What were you reciting the words of God? Wow. It's powerful. Right? And so here also kind of with Hannah shows us. He is the first quote and teacher of Mormon. I love how local in southern He created us human beings. And will Diane and he taught us speech. Imagine that. We know that we can speak but again, we don't attribute it back to Allah subhanho wa Taala. We never think that without Allah we wouldn't be able to speak we wouldn't be able to commute.
indicates and there are some people that are born or you know, they go through things in their life where they become mute, they can no longer speak. Imagine how much of a blessing it is to speak, to be able to have, you know, air coming out of your mouth and it and sound comes with it. Last year during this month last year during Ramadan,
I went to see a vocalist specialist, not someone who looks at your throat, not an ear, nose and throat specialist now a vocalist specialist, they took a camera and they sent it up my nose and down my throat and recorded my vocal cords. So kind of that was it was amazing to see. And I'm sitting there with my mouth and my nose open and you have this camera going down your throat, but I can see it on the TV screen. And they're like, okay, now they're telling you to make certain sounds. Hum, you know, do all these different sounds like
all these different sounds. And you can see it on the TV screen. So handle of what's happening inside of us. We've never seen you know, we never think to look at it. Those of us that are here that are doctors, they've probably seen it but no one else. And the loss of Hannah Montana is amazing. They take a strobe light and I had to hold this strobe light to my throat while she's you know, controlling the camera and looking and you know, because it twists and turns and Scala does interesting things. And I'm holding this strobe light so that the strobe light can basically just take pictures because our vocal cords move so fast. You can't see them moving. They move so fast,
you can't see the moving. You know when you see a car drive by sometimes and that car has a nice mags on it nice wheels. And you see the wheels like it looks like it slows down and the car is moving and they slow down and then they start to spin like the opposite way. Right?
Okay.
Call the slip. Have the love. You're an engineer of some sort. I shall neck right? So So Pamela we see we see that happening. So when you take this strobe light it actually slows down the image of your your vocal cords for the camera to pick it up. That's happening inside of us, Allah subhana wa tada Tada, so to speak. Did he give us lessons Do you give us a book, when you were born, where your teeth your your your mother and father go through and they say okay, now open your lips, blows up and blow out some air. Now toss in a little bit of that voice. You don't know how to do it, but you just start doing it. You're born and you start to cry and that sound those are your vocals. And so
Allah subhanaw taala shows us that here. He taught us to speak. But how does he speak us and how does he teach us to speak
with other Quinn's
with eloquence when we recite the Quran, it's recited eloquently beautifully. When we speak at the Chateau de la Miranda, the the Sahaba of the Aloha home at her time, they said we never heard someone speak so eloquently after the tongue of the prophets and a lot more it was on them. Other than Alisha are the levanta she was so eloquent in her speech. And as Muslims, we need to be people that can speak properly. Now I'm not saying that Oh, because you have an accent you can't speak No, not at all. Just because you hear me speaking like this right now. Don't think I don't have an accent. When I went to Australia. They were telling me Oh, you have an accent. Right? So I have an
accent. Those that came from other countries. Just because you're in this country and everyone says you have an accent. Yes, you have an accent here. But in your country, you don't have an accent. We have the accent, right? Those that can't speak your language properly. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala gave us all languages, different languages, different tones, different, you know, characteristics to our tongue and how we pronounce things. And those are all from the bounties and blessings of Allah subhana wa Tada. You tell someone you know you give them a nice sweet you say this is Buffy. Right? Buffy they say oh to Barfi no to Buffy. Barfi No, barf is like something else.
The children Oh, barf is right. Now this is Buffy. It's beautiful. It tastes amazing. Like I don't know it doesn't sound like it tastes good, right? Sounds like barf. No, it's Buffy you need to say Buffy, right? And so Allah subhana wa tada allowed us to speak in certain ways. There are people who try to recite the Quran and they can't and it becomes very difficult for them. They recite it but their pronunciation is not bang on. It's not the way it should be or the best way that it can be. And that's because Allah subhanho wa Taala does not give us all of the ability to do so. Why? Because those that struggle, they actually get double the reward of the person that doesn't
struggle. Isn't that amazing? The person who recites the Quran, eloquently and beautifully gets a massive abundance reward. But the person who struggles we attack Tara as the profits that allow adding and selling shows as someone who can't pronounce it properly, struggles, they stumble upon the verses of the Quran, they get double the reward of the person who reads it.
eautifully so anytime you're listening to check a machete and Asha that I facet you all know him, right? Because everyone listens to his recitation of the Quran, you're listening to a beautiful reciter of the Quran. And then you say, Oh, you know what, I can get double the reward of that person, they've just recited sort of very beautifully. I'm going to recite it as beautifully as I can. But even though I'm struggling and I'm stumbling, I'm getting double the reward than they are. Or hey, how did you learn that's, you know, in a in a light hearted way, for us to understand that Allah subhanho wa Taala rewards us for our struggles and sacrifices, with regards to things that
bring him pleasure.
In verse verse number 13,
Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us here febi A
be Kuma do can do.
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? Now loss of habitat it goes on? You'll see almost every second verse it says, it'll be Connecticut demand will be it'll be combat to get the bat. What is Allah mentioning in between those two or three verses? What is he saying in between them? Let's look in verse number 14. Allah subhanho wa Taala says he created men from claim like that of pottery just like pottery. Well, hello, Jan, I mean marriage him in now. And he created the gin from smokeless flame of fire. If we skip on to verses number 46 to 53, because it continues throughout the surah. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in verse number 46, while human half ama
camara de jan Nutan, but for he who has feared the position of his Lord has two gardens, two gardens, and in the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. It mentions two gardens of silver and two gardens of gold. And this loss of Hannah Montana gives to us in paradise imagine you go out and you see trees right now you go out, you see trees, as I see right through the window, trees with leaves and the clouds, etc. And if I could see the ground, you would see the grass and maybe the agriculture of the farmlands across the street, etc. With the corn and soy on all of that in silver.
And if you wanted to eat it, you could because your agenda,
you wouldn't say oh no, it's silver, I need to take it and put on a chain and wear it on my neck. No, you know what it's over, I'm just gonna eat it. Right and you eat it. And the flavor alone knows what the flavor is. Allah knows we don't know, right? You could do what you want. Whatever you wish in gender, what you desire, you can have almost kind of a delicate, make that golden silver melt in your mouth, if he wants that to happen. If you want that to happen as well. It melts in your mouth and you enjoy it, you enjoy the flavor of it.
And so also pan with Allah shows us here, you know, you get gardens in Paradise, those in particular who refrain from giving into their desires on this earth. And there's a reason why Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioned so many of the blessings of Paradise here. And we should read through the sutra and read through the translation of the sutra, all on your own inshallah lots of 23rd night, do that as an actor very bad tonight, read through it and understand it. Or try to simply understand the translation that is mentioned and the bounties and blessings the things that are lost. palitana will give us in general, let's move on in sha Allah tada Sora tillbaka
actually wanted to go through some of these verses, I think I will, I'll touch upon like 54 for example, of sort of
Allah Subhana which Allah mentions with Turkey in our Allah futoshi
mean his
wife, Jen and Jen,
you need
a vehicle to me.
He says they are reclining on beds. The lining of those beds are made of silk brocade. Right.
And the fruit of the two Gardens is hanging though Imagine you're just chilling on like this bed made out of silk. And it's you know, got gold and silver because we know that there's going to be gold and silver trim on most things. Right. And it's not the golden silver of this world. It's the golden silver agenda that is absolutely far better than the golden silver we get over here. And so when you see it, you will enjoy it. And you'll be laying down you know, so what silk feels like laying on silk. I don't know what it feels like to lay on soap because I don't have soap bedsheets, but so kind of like just imagine you have silk bedsheets, but your entire you know bed would be made
out of gold and silver and silk and all these beautiful soft things. And you'll feel like you're swimming in your bed and the branches of your trees are hanging low. You can just lay there and yeah, I feel like I feel like eating this today and you just take it off your tree. Right you bite into it. That's beautiful sounds
taste and flavor that we get. And we know we're fasting right now. So we know what it's like to simply taste a date or taste an apple or taste some fruit. It's a beautiful flavor, some kind of love. But in general, you just be chilling, and it's gonna come low for you. And if it's too high, it will come lower for you, and you'll just be able to take it and eat it and consume it. And so loss of Hannah Montana, you know, the things that he mentions in gender, then he says, He recommended at the event which of the signs of a loss of cartilage and his greatness? Are you going to deny? Are we going to deny it? No way we're not going to deny it, we're going to believe in a law
and we're going to worship Him as best as we possibly can. Because we want that in genda we want to have that and the things that he gives us now we take it and we benefit from it because we know that he gave it to us to benefit from I can eat the fruit and the apples and all the things here and enjoy it. Why? Because it's a type of replenishment to the body and looking after myself. It's a bounder to Allah and through it, I get genda so how are we going to deny his favors? No doubt no way we deny it, especially on a day when we're fasting like today. Let's move on into sort of throughout the highlands sha Allah with Tana verse suit on number 56
in verses one to 12, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us three groups of people. Let him walk around the block him either walk Bharati, love the ladies and he walked by it
the bad coffee latos law era either or gelatine

nacme, a loss of con which shows us in the first 12 verses three groups of people. The first is on the right of Adam, Allah has set up right standing to the right of us the first human being right, standing to the right of Adam Allah has set up
that is the group of people
standing to the right, those who are good, those who have done goodness, who will receive their book in the right hand, then you have to the left those who will receive the book in the left hand. And then you have the third group are less accountable attalla mentions here
they are the group that is
better than those two other groups. So you have the group who received their book in the right hand, but from amongst them, you have a smaller group. And this is what a loss of habitat is referring to a smaller group, they will be the group in the middle there, the foremost there the prophets, the messengers, those that died for the sake of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah, those that sacrifice from you know, there, a lot sacrificed a lot from their earnings, their wealth, their time, etc. Those who were very near very close to a loss of how it had an extremely righteous individuals, they are smaller in number than the group on the right. The group on the right is is the group of paradise.
But the group in the middle is the group of people who excelled from that group as well, including the prophets and messengers and the righteous as Allah subhana wa tada shows us there in verses 13 to 26. The reward the reward for those who are foremost, the middle group, right, the reward for those that have excelled beyond the group on the right that's mentioned there. Then in the rest of the verses, after verse number 26. a loss of counterweights added describes the pleasures of paradise. And I don't want to go over it too much because we did a little bit and the time is running out. So the pleasures of Paradise and then the punishments of *. So he goes into the
pleasures of Paradise and the punishments of *. And it's a sign for all of us when we read it, whether we're believers or the non believers, when they read it when they understand it. When we convey the message to them. They should look at it and say, You know what, I want to go to Paradise. What do I need to go to Paradise? Like someone shows you a brand new? I don't know. I'm going to use the Ford Explorer because I actually like the new one. It's really nice, Mashallah, I never would I my whole life, I would say I've never owned a Ford. It's a car that's found on the road debt, right fo rd found on road debt, but so panela I'm an automotive technician. So those that are getting
offended, I could fix the
Orange chocolate cake.
But last night, a brother bought a brand new Ford Explorer and I sat in his car just for a few minutes, right? And it got into it. And I was like Michelle automaticall. I mean, it was kind of a downer bless you with this. It's a nice car. I have the line. He got it. It's beautiful. It's nice.
So someone shows you Okay, you have the choice. You have this Ford Explorer. Right? Beautiful. It smells nice leather seats to get into it. It's got a heated steering wheel. It's got air conditioned seats as well. It's beautiful. Really nice. Mashallah. Or you can buy this ladder? You know, the ladder is? We all know a ladder is do the youth know ladder? Do you know that?
You forgot what that is. It's like the cheapest car you can buy on Earth. Literally, like it doesn't cost much. For us at least right? It's got nothing in it. Some some of them, the windows don't even go up and down. Right? They just swing open and closed this way. They don't go up and down. Right and the door has to lock it like I don't know what they use for lock. Maybe you just put a bolt in there something about my style. But somehow you have this choice. Which one would you take? Someone shows you this beautiful Ford Explorer and this ladder? Right from 1960. For example, which one are you going to choose?
Before it? Why?
Now, if you choose the Ford, you can't just get the Ford I'm not going to give it to you. You're going to ask me. What do I need to do to get the Ford right? You need to Ford you want the Ford? You don't want that car? You can't even fit your dad in there. He that's too tall for the for the for the ladder, right? So you need you need to get the fort. How do you get it? You're going to ask me how can I buy this Ford, right? Okay, so you're going to need to go to work, you have to save this amount, you're going to need to spend this much every single month. That's how much you're going to have to invest on that Ford Explorer. It's something you want, you're going to learn how to get it.
Similarly, Allah subhanaw taala shows us the description of Jenna and the description of Johanna Which one do you want? Do you want the ladder? Or do you want the foreword? And I'm not saying the Ford is gender male is kind of a data give us something much better than a Ford in gender. But somehow it's an example because we all know them. Right? We know the forest because the plant is very near us. We would all want that over the ladder.
Right? Similarly, when you see it, you're like, Okay, how can I get that? Like, I want that Ford Explorer, but I can't afford it. What do I need to do to get it? Are there different financial payments for me? What do I do? What How much time do I need to devote? In order to get that? How much time do I need to devote in order to get genda? What actions do I need to do in order to get it? Do I need to go to a bank? Do I need to praise Allah? I'm not saying Salas, the bank, but actions, what actions do I need to do in order to get to agenda? So last panel attalla gives us a description of the two and you choose, you choose which one do you want to engender? Do you want to
add them you choose? And so Allah subhana wa attallah does that for us in the Quran? He gives us examples of both in verses 63 to 74 of soldato raffia Do you see the signs of a loss of Hamlet and he mentioned them the plants, water that falls you drink, it's rainfall but you take it and you drink it right? Fire, heat, all of those things are blessings from Allah subhanho wa Taala that he gave to us signs of his power in the creation. So kind of a we take them, we use them, we abused them, and we forget that they came from a lot. today. I was as I was coming in, I saw brother nessim standing there. And I said What's wrong? You You look like you know, you look tired or something's
wrong. You know, he was worried about so handle that I don't even know if he can hear I don't I see him there. But I know he's busy. He probably doesn't know we're talking about him. And we're saying something nice about him. You know, he's worried about he says there's not enough water in the tank for all of us to use maybe until the truck comes and fills it up. So they didn't come to fill up the tank of water. He's worried about us not having water to make not having water to use the bathroom not having water to wash our hands after we finish eating. So Hannah
and that's a blessing from a loss of power to add. And one man is standing outside and you can see the concern on his face and like what's wrong is there's not there's not enough water in the tank he was not enough water in the tank. So
it's a blessing from Allah we take it for granted every single day we come to the masjid we open the tab we wash our hands we let it run we're making we do we go use the bathroom we come out you know we take soap and the water is running and we finished making whether we're talking to our friends in the water is running and we don't realize this is a blessing from Allah. And we also don't realize that someone is is losing their you know, they're not sanity, but they're they're so concerned that they're not focusing on anything else. Except do we us not him we have water to use panela some blessing from a loss of habitat that not only do we have water, but we have people that are
concerned if we have the water to use or not. It's a blessing from Allah subhana wa Tada. Verses number 83 to 87 Allah subhanho wa Taala discusses the soul or he gives an example to those who disbelieved with
The soul is pulled out of you. And we know those that disbelieved, it's going to be really difficult to pull the soul out. It's like ripping through the tissues of the body just ripping through coming out. And Allah subhanaw taala asks those who disbelieved, when the soul reaches your throat,
do you have the power to put it back in? When it's about to come out, it's reached your throat, it's about to finally finally come out of you because it's a struggle for those who disbelieved and those that that committed major, but not major, but many sins I should say, trying to word it correctly, many sins, it's very difficult for the soul to come out because we desire this world and we don't desire the hereafter. Those that desire the hereafter their soul comes out really easily. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when, when he saw the angel he looked up at the sky and Allah subhana wa tada asked him, Do you desire this world of Do you desire the hereafter? And he said,
Well, rafiqul Allah, the highest level Give me the highest level of Paradise will have been his soul came out and colossal was it? It was easy. But for us, it might be a little bit of a struggle. And so we need to make sure that we cleanse ourselves and Allah subhanho wa Taala asks us here in verses 83, to 87, asuna tilapia, those that disbelieved, where it's really hard for their souls to come out because they love this dunya so much, they want to stay here forever. They don't want to let go of the soul because they don't they know that letting go of your soul means letting go letting go of this dunya.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala asks, poses the question, now that the soul is about to come out, can you put it back in? Simple question, simple question to make us realize, we are not in control of our lives. Simple, really simple. Can you put your soul back in no simple question we can answer as well. I asked this question before, where's your soul point to your soul, no one could point to where their soul is in their body. You would point somewhere but you don't know for sure if your soul is there. That's with a loss of candlelight. He created us and he put it in us where it is we don't know we leave it up to Allah subhanho wa Taala. We move on to sort of add on only take a few
examples from sort of Hadith in sha Allah Tada, which is the 52nd 57th surah of the Quran. In this surah Allah subhana wa Tana begins by showing us that everything glorifies Allah Subhana Allah Himself is somehow it Well, well, we'll Aziz will Hakeem in verses seven to 11. And in particular, verse 10, and 11, Allah subhana wa tada shows us to spend for a lot spend for Allah. Don't keep your wealth. Don't hoard your wealth spend for Allah subhana wa Tada, and those that can't afford to give to outright give in verse number 11. He mentions coddled and has Senate, when you give a loan for a loss of habitat. The Masjid needs something, for example, or someone poor needs something, you loan
it to them, you give it to them for the sake of Allah in the form of a loan and they pay it back to you. You still get rewards for that for loaning, lending some of that wealth, verse, verses 20 to 21 or less of haddaway. To add, it shows us the reality of life, read it on your own 20 and 21 of this sort on Shahla sort of two headed in verse number 24. Allah warns us now about stinginess, don't become stingy with your wealth. Don't be stingy. Don't just keep it to yourself. Use it, use it, use it on others share it with others. And so Pamela we see that happening now during the month of Ramadan, we're feeding others. I saw this video that went viral, I think in the past 24 hours of
this man in Medina, who's calling people to come to his sofa, like we see out there. There's so for the What do we call it and we're doing it? No, that's no fun, right? That that's not fun. Because I know the majority of you will understand this are fun, right? He's calling people to come and break their fast have a thought with them. And everyone that comes he he gives them a kiss on their head. They come to sit down he gives them a kiss on the head. And then he ma'am of most of the number we should have the Moxon Carson. He calls that men, he saw the video and he caught he looks for the men because they're there every day. And he asked him to come up. And he's like, why do you do this? He
goes, Well, I'm not doing this for any fame. I'm not doing it for social media and nothing he didn't even have his phone in his hand. Right? Allah knows if he even has a phone. He's like, Well, lucky. I'm doing this simply because I want to feed the people who are fasting and get the reward of it. This is the only time in the year that we get disability, that we get this chance to feed the people that are fasting and get the reward as well to feed them for from their day of fasting. And Allah subhanho wa Taala only gives us this chance during Ramadan because after Ramadan, we leave we go back to our villages wherever we live. And so it's kind of like he was just doing a good deed. And
he's invited in to sit with the Imams of the Haram. Beautiful how Allah subhanho wa Taala invites those who he loves towards goodness. And then in the last verse that we will take verse number 25, a Basilica with data highlights steel or iron and how iron is
Self is something that he gave to us as a blessing. It's an airman to have steel. Imagine our massage it is being held up look at the pillars, their steel pillars, right our homes are being held up using steel. Even if our homes are made out of wood, we see that we still have different types of metal running through our homes, the copper wire copper wires that bring electricity into our house, it's all metal there are many things that we use metal to make analyst palitana shows us the power of metal and the usages of metal so for example the power that you use it in weaponry etc use it to make swords or Spears then benefits that human beings use metaphor for example tools right coins,
our money mail us Panama Thai that help us with all these coins that we accumulate in our pockets gets really heavy, we should just put it in the donation boxes right get rid of it. Our vehicles are made out of metal we cook in metal pots, right? We use metal for various different things. So lots of hand weights and it shows us sort of two headed various things that he gave to us that the sorry that we use the metal to make that benefit us as human beings. We ask Allah subhana wa Italia to make it easy for us to benefit and maximize from this month of Ramadan. ask Allah subhana wa tada to grant us forgiveness during this month of Ramadan mean or someone else I'm about to get out of Dino
Mohammed via audio somebody will tell him there's only about two and a half minutes till the end. So sorry for taking up some time. Remember tonight is the 23rd night of Ramadan and to do something extra during this night of Ramadan and Charmin does that.
No, it's two minutes after that clock.
How are you? Good. How
are you? Means been careful. Yeah. How you been?
