The speakers discuss the upcoming event for the 17th, which is the beginning of the month ofhair. They emphasize the importance of the presence and the need for everyone to make the most of it, including the importance of the Prophet BMW and his ability to create false gods and lead people to believe they are supposed to be worshipping them. They also discuss the loss of habitat and the importance of strong actions to prevent harm, as well as the importance of helping people achieve their dreams and finding their own "beauty." They also touch on hedging and finding one's own "has been seen," "has been seen," and "has been seen."
00:00:00 -->
00:00:44
We now have 100 Rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa salatu wa sallam who had an OB he'll carry
him Allah He follows Allah to attempt to same. Rubbish roughly. Suddenly we're Sidley Emery. That's
me. Listen EF Kahu Kohli, my brothers and my sisters acidum were alikum warahmatu. While he robotica
cattle, I am pleased to announce that today is going to be the beginning of the 17th, Jos
Alhamdulillah, which means we are just a few days away from the last 10 nights of this month of
Ramadan. And because we are so close to the last 10 nights of Ramadan, we need to make sure that we
finish a little bit earlier as well. So what I mean by that is that we are not going to go all the
00:00:44 -->
00:01:24
way right up until the last few nights I've been taking a little bit too long, and not having enough
time to make do out. And it's important for us to you know, make sure that we are using every minute
of this month of Ramadan in the best way that we possibly can. So for example, you know, having the
time to make do out before motivated during the month of Ramadan is absolutely important, this habit
of the law and home would make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala before they break their fast. So in
sha Allah Today 834 is the time of the event for marketing here in the Milton area. And I'll stop
about maybe even 10 minutes before that inshallah. Also I know some of you have been wanting to ask
00:01:24 -->
00:01:39
questions. So let me know in the comment section. You know, if you can, I'll try and go back to the
Instagram and watch it later on and see if I could read through it. And also here on Facebook and
YouTube, if you could let me know, you know, what?
00:01:40 -->
00:02:18
Do you want a q&a session at the end of these? Or would you like a dedicated q&a session at a
different time? You know, maybe in the middle of the night, 1030 1045 11 o'clock at night, where we
go online just for maybe 1520 minutes and you know, just ask questions back and forth kind of thing.
So let me know what you feel in sha Allah, let's get to it. So we are covering to sue us tonight,
the 17th Joe's, you know comprises of soda and beer and soda to hedge. And that's really interesting
because when you think of Hajj and the envy of the prophets of Allah Subhana Allah and Hajj
pilgrimage, you know, they go hand in hand, especially with regards to Prophet Ibrahim alayhis
00:02:18 -->
00:02:36
salaam, and, you know, the pilgrimage that that we make nowadays, when we go there. And we worship
Allah subhanho wa Taala in such a beautiful form, you know, seeking newness and the pleasure of
Allah some kind of way to add and forgiveness as well throughout that entire month, that entire
trip.
00:02:38 -->
00:02:58
So my brothers and sisters with the beginning have sought out to me I actually didn't cover all of
those verses on purpose. And I'm not going to mainly because the the messages that are there are
messages that we've taken already, but messages that carry on throughout the entire course. And just
to briefly go over it and to mention,
00:02:59 -->
00:03:39
I must have had with adding shows in the first like 50 is of you know of the surah how you know the
hour is near and we are heedless and we're not really you know, focusing on what we're supposed to
be focusing on. He mentions the creation was made with justice and wisdom and that's important, no
doubt, Allah subhana wa tada also talks about the reputation of false gods and how all of us have
had with and has sent messengers to clarify right those who are worshipping false gods idols and so
on, he sent the prophets he sent the messengers to clarify that and to allow human beings to, to
realize what we are supposed to be doing what is what is important for us in this dunya so my
00:03:39 -->
00:03:59
brothers and sisters that's mentioned there, he continues also Penwith and continues verses 38 to
40, the idol worshipers they would ask for their punishment. And we see this in you know, stories of
many of the prophets of the past and this is why I was some kind of was added brings it all together
here in Sona, India, you know, they would ask for example, you know, the people that saw their hand
the people of
00:04:02 -->
00:04:04
who else No, no.
00:04:06 -->
00:04:09
Yeah, no, as well. Also in the story of
00:04:14 -->
00:04:50
No, are you? I'm just trying to think but profits of the past. You know, there are people who would
say just bring the punishment you claim to be a pundit and you claim to be a prophet, bring the
punishment and let's see, prove yourself. So lots of headwinds add it shows us there that you know
those machines when they would ask for the punishment to come quicker, then Allah subhana wa tada
transitions the disbelievers are deceived by the lies that are living in the luxuries that we have
of this world. And we as human beings, yes, we have luxuries Alhamdulillah. Right. Beautiful
luxuries that we enjoy. Like my jacket. Anyone would ask me where did you get this from? I actually
00:04:50 -->
00:05:00
get these tailor made for me in Thailand on a small island in Thailand as well the island of Phuket
right so these are tailor made for me is the lowest
00:05:00 -->
00:05:44
of this world, we enjoy it. We have it on hand to love, but we don't live for it. As believers, we
know that we might have this one day and it's gone the next day we have this one day, and it's gone
the next day. So what we have is gone. But what's important is our emotion stays in our emotions
strengthens and becomes harder, not harder, but more more firm within us more established within us.
Then we move to where exactly I wanted to begin discussing verse number 51, which is the story of
Prophet Ibrahim and he has set up and of course, we said it is sold out to me via the sooner that is
titled The chapter is titled, after the prophets. So a lot begins by showing us this Prophet
00:05:44 -->
00:06:27
Ibrahim, it has set up and he says, And indeed We have granted Ibrahim sounds judgment. Early on, as
in from a young age, for we knew him well. As in he was worthy of it, Allah subhana wa tada knew him
and he was deserving of it. He was worthy of it. So he blessed him with this knowledge. And with the
ability to have that wisdom and understanding of the deen from an early age. It is said that Ibrahim
it has said I'm starting to question his father about the idols from the age of seven. Now when you
think of that from the age of seven, that's like, wow, that's unbelievable. That's amazing. Many of
our seven year olds, now if we think of it, yes, some of us we may have seven year olds who know a
00:06:27 -->
00:06:35
lot about the deen but we're talking about a seven year old or a child, let's just say a child
because we don't have like specific numbers, per se.
00:06:37 -->
00:07:05
A child asking about a law and the oneness of Allah subhana wa Tada. And not a child who is born and
raised in a family, you know, that is promoting Islam to the child, we're talking about a child
who's being raised in the household of someone who is known and openly recognized as the one who
carves the idols within society. So as the father of Rahim, Allah has sent him he was the person who
carved idols out of the stone.
00:07:06 -->
00:07:49
Now you can imagine to yourself, someone who was not raised in an Islamic household is now starting
to question about a wasp panel would not question about the existence of Allah, but wanting to know
more about a loss of habitat and questioning the IOC and that which is worshipped by the people. So
Ibrahim, I need to send him you know, the story here is mentioned how the people went out on the day
of their celebration, Ibrahim went into the misto into the place where their idols were being kept
basically like a warehouse. And he went in and he destroyed all of the little idols, except for the
largest one that was there. He kept the largest one on purpose. He took the axe and he leaned it up
00:07:49 -->
00:08:02
against the, you know, the the largest idol, and he left. And when the people returned, and they saw
after celebrating, they were out in their celebration, they returned, they saw that all their idols
were broken,
00:08:03 -->
00:08:44
and smashed to pieces, except for the largest one. Some of the people said, we heard it was someone
who goes by the name of Ibrahim, who destroyed these idols, right? You're calling hula, hula
Ibrahim. So they didn't want to immediately blame the son of us of the one who makes those idols.
And you can also think to yourself, wait a second, there's like a vested interest here. If all the
idols are broken, then his father now has a lot of business, because he's gonna start carving idols
like crazy, right? So his father sort of needs to separate himself from what happened in this
incident. And that's exactly what we see happening. A loss of haddaway data shows us that Ibrahim
00:08:44 -->
00:09:19
added his son and he comes forth and he says, look, you know, why are you questioning me? That I owe
the biggest one of yours? He's the one with the axe Why don't you ask him he's got you know the tool
that that stick that was used to break the idols Why don't you ask him? For sure the if he's the
biggest and surely if he's one of your gods, then he will be able to speak and he'll be able to give
evidence as to who or what actually happened if he so claims that he's not the one who broke those
idols because he's the one who's holding you know that weapon. It's like
00:09:20 -->
00:09:36
It's like oj simpson back in the day right the glove, right? The glove was found but it doesn't fit
so it's not really him. No, but here we find the idol with the x. And it actually is with him. So
even though he was like ask him I mean, it seems like he's the one who did it right.
00:09:37 -->
00:09:59
Then Allah subhana wa tada shows us in the story that the people admit that their gods do not speak,
right. They admit that their gods don't speak. Now that's a powerful lesson to learn because if
that's something that the idol worshipers are admitting that their gods don't speak, then why are
they continuing to worship those idols? Why do they continue in this way of life?
00:10:00 -->
00:10:06
Why even bother with those idols? Right? So Allah Subhana, Allah is showing us here now
00:10:07 -->
00:10:47
that, you know, they they recognize their ignorance, they know very well that these idols are not
serving them in any way, shape or form, but they continue to do it. And that's exactly what Muhammad
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was pulling his people away from as well, that you are continuing to
worship these idols because your forefathers used to worship them. And you feel the need to continue
to do that. That doesn't make any sense. And then we see a lot of headway. Data shows us from verse
number 65, you know, the people get ready to throw him into this fire and they build a huge fire and
his father is also from the people that are, you know, in favor of doing this,
00:10:48 -->
00:11:38
of having Ibrahim Allah has sent them thrown into the fire, and you know, burnt alive. So they built
this huge catapult, right, this massive catapult to throw or to launch Ibrahim, it has sent them
into the fire, and they put them on it. And it's so big and huge, because the fire is so so strong
that they need to build it far away in order to launch them into it. So Ibrahim Ali has sent me
strapped on to it, they've launched him into the fire. And as he gets closer to it, because it's so
hot, right? He flies off into the air. And at that point in time, Ibrahim is visited by a prophet of
Allah, Angel gibreel. He comes to Ibrahim out of his center, and he asks him, Do you need anything?
00:11:38 -->
00:12:14
Like any one of us was in that situation? We'd say to ourselves, are you crazy? Are you kidding me?
Yes, please. Come on, man. Let me hold on to your wings and fly away, you know, get me out of this
situation. I'm stuck here. I'm flying in here. I'm on my way to London, that fire over there. Hello.
And I think I need a little bit of help. But Ibrahim and he said, I'm so composed. And his belief is
so firm in a loss of headwinds. And it's it's almost mind boggling yet so impressive at the same
time. Like it's admirable. We wish to have this kind of imagine in the loss of Hannah Montana as
well.
00:12:15 -->
00:13:00
Where we're faced with some kind of hardship, but we don't let it get to us. We know that if we
stand firm, Allah will never let that happen to us, except that he has decreed or, you know, written
for that to actually happen to us. So if something you know, dangerous is about to happen, and we
see it we've taken all the precautionary measures, you know, and we say okay, what color Allah we
trust Allah now to protect us and save us. It's like, you know, someone buying a car. You know,
driving a car is extremely dangerous. In fact, not even driving the car, just getting into the car
and sitting in the car is extremely dangerous without even moving the vehicle. Why do I say this?
00:13:00 -->
00:13:06
Well, I'm a mechanic. So I know how cars work. I know how they function. I know very well, my
brothers and sisters that
00:13:07 -->
00:13:47
when you sit in a vehicle, you are sitting on top of something that is filled with fuel that is
extremely, extremely flammable. Not only that you have airbags surrounding you, and these airbags
are deployed at hundreds of kilometers an hour. And at the same time, while sitting in there with
the electronics that we have within the vehicles, you might get locked in there and never be able to
come out you could suffocate possibly inside of a vehicle. There's so many things that we could
think of right? That can happen to us while sitting inside a vehicle without actually moving it. So
here, it has sent him he's flying through the air. his belief is so firm and Alyssa palitana the
00:13:47 -->
00:14:32
angel Djiboutian is asking him Do you need anything in his life from you? But from a law? Yes, from
a lot. Yes, I do need something I need help from Allah subhana wa to add. And that's where we see a
lot allows Ibrahim to continue in that journey on to the fire right into the fire, I should say. And
Angel gibreel doesn't actually pull him away or rescue him from the fire. Right. All he needs is
like a really strong gust of wind to blow into the side and he'll land away from the fire or All we
need is like a gust of wind to blow the fire out and the fires gone. But a loss of habitat it makes
it such to show us that he was so firm in his belief in Allah subhana wa Tada. He continued and he
00:14:32 -->
00:14:33
landed in the fire.
00:14:35 -->
00:15:00
And Allah subhanho wa Taala commands the fire to be cool and calm. But Odin was sent m&r that
Ibrahim, not just cold but peaceful, calm and easy and comfortable for Ibrahim Ali to set up and the
fire was so big it says it is said that it lasted for some time. Ibrahim it has sent him afterwards
was seen coming out of the fire as though he's just
00:15:00 -->
00:15:17
Walking out of it, right. And so, you know, that's really interesting because the loss of hands and
it shows us how he rescues one of his servants one of his worshipers from a fire that none of us
thought we would even be rescued from. And it's interesting because it ties in with the story of
Adam
00:15:18 -->
00:16:00
and his creation. And when shavon police refused to bow down and prostrate in front of Adam, what
did he say? He said, I made a fire and he's made of clay and fires better. It's more powerful. It's
stronger than this clay. Right. And as human beings we know that we burn in the fire, right? The
fire would burn is like a candle or match. Yeah, that's hot. Right? So have a look. So here are lots
of headlines and is showing us this beautiful, beautiful story of Ibrahim it has sent him and then
he transitions off into mentioning in verses number 71 and 74 or 71 to 74. That Ibrahima, his son
and his nephew, Lord, Allah has set up they leave, they leave their people, they abandon their
00:16:00 -->
00:16:04
people, like you know what, that's it is too much for us. We're gonna need to leave.
00:16:06 -->
00:16:40
Then Allah subhanho wa Taala shows a story of Noah, Allah has sent him and his people which we
covered already, and we will probably cover again, we transitioned off into the story of Deadwood.
And so Dana profit Deadwood, and he has set them and so they met and we'll just look at some
examples from verses number 78. To You know, 80 to 78 to 80, to almost a pen with addresses was
there was a man in the coma if he will have his nefesh he heard him will call me.
00:16:41 -->
00:17:27
He helped me him. He was a cannibal, which Allah says and remember when Deadwood or David and son
amen or Solomon passed judgment regarding the crops that were ruined at night by someone's sheep,
and we were witness to their judgments. Long story short, okay, this is what happens. Ibrahim,
sorry, Deadwood, and Sonny meant that wood is the Father. So the man is the son, Prophet that wood
is a prophet and he's extremely wealthy and he's the king of the land and he is also the judge so
people come to him when there's an issue in the land right back to know how you guys sit for so
long. I keep adjusting my chair. All right, here we go. Just the chair. Make it easy on the back.
00:17:27 -->
00:17:28
I'm gonna.
00:17:29 -->
00:17:33
So prophet Dawood alayhis. Salam, he,
00:17:34 -->
00:18:09
you know, he's with his son constantly and his son learns a lot from him. One day, this these two
men they come and they complain to Prophet Deadwood Allah has set up they say, look, one of them
says, I have crop I have land. And that man his sheep came and they eat from all my crop and they
destroyed it. So prophet who Allah has said that he had wisdom, but he was, you know, he was quick
to judge. And so he tells the men whose crops was eaten, he says, you know, you take his animals,
and you take the crop of this men.
00:18:10 -->
00:18:46
Oh, sorry. Sorry, my mistake, and mixing the two together. So he tells the men who, who owns the
sheep, he says, Listen, your sheep ate these crops. So your sheep, you need to give them to him,
right? He owns the sheep now because his your sheep destroyed his land, he now lost all his land. So
he's gonna keep your sheep, right, your property destroyed his so you have to give your property to
him. So they man his son, he's like, you know what? Father, this isn't the greatest thing. Okay, you
know, let's let's go and revisit this debt. All right, so they go to the site, and they discuss
this.
00:18:47 -->
00:19:28
Prophet Solomon, the son, he suggested his father, he says, Why don't we do this? Why don't we tell
the men who owns the sheep, right? To work the land of the other men, until the land is back to the
condition that it was, and then he can return the sheep, right? The men who owns the land, he will
look after the sheep and he can enjoy what comes from it, like the milk and so on. Right that that
comes from the meat of, or the produce of the of the animals. And so that was the decision that they
made. So while also kind of its ad is showing us here, the story of that and what happened, you
know, and how the two of them work together, they were both given wisdom, but it was a different
00:19:28 -->
00:20:00
kind of wisdom, right? And both of them will handle had that wisdom and is a great level of wisdom.
But they work together to try and figure things out. It's a beautiful example of how a parent and a
child can work together to achieve great things in this dunya. And it's not always the parents
showing the child I know better than you. I'm going to screw you. I'm going to teach you what's
right and what's wrong and so on and so forth. Our children, you know what, in fact, our teachers
used to tell us and continue to tell this and I say this to our students. You know, one of the Y ma
students at our meeting.
00:20:00 -->
00:20:03
Did the young Muslim Academy the program that we teach for youth,
00:20:04 -->
00:20:34
he asked me a question just before this whole lockdown began, you know, this self isolation
pandemic? And I asked him, I said, Well, what do you think, is the answer to this question? And he
answered it, and I was like, there you go, you got it. I'm the law. He's like, Wow, I didn't really
know that I could answer that question. I'm like, Look, I've taught you enough things on this topic
for you to be able to figure this out on your own. And he was like, Wow, that's amazing how the law
and I said, Look,
00:20:35 -->
00:21:16
I learned from my teachers and I would love to see this with our students as well. I want to see
that our children and our students become smarter and better than we are. That's a sign our teachers
tell us a sign of a good teacher is, is one who is happy when their students excel beyond their
level. So when the students become smarter, more educated, more experienced, and more knowledgeable
than the teacher themselves, that means the teacher did a good job. That means the teacher did a
good job of him vanilla. So we need to see our children excelling above and beyond our level of
knowledge and education. Okay.
00:21:17 -->
00:22:03
Prophet dodon said, Amen. Allah subhana wa tada continues and says, We guided young send a man to a
fairer settlement, and granted each of them wisdom and knowledge. So they were both granted wisdom
and knowledge, we subjected the mountains, as well as the birds to him, the praises, along with debu
what Allah has sent him, It is we who did it, it is not from them, they are they do not have these
powers and abilities. And that little phrase is important. Well couldn't have a mean Allah Subhana,
Allah says, that it is Allah who did all of this for them. It is not prophet devil that Allah has
sent him it is not profit. So they know Allah has said and who have these magical powers. It is a
00:22:03 -->
00:22:33
loss of hand with Adam who granted them the ability to actually do this. And that is the case with
all of the prophets of Allah subhanho wa Taala had all of the messengers, their powers and
abilities, the miracles that they were given, are not things that came from them specifically, they
are from Allah, and Allah gave them the ability to do these things. So the mountains were given the
ability to, to praise a loss of handling data, along with profit, Deadwood, Allah has set up.
00:22:35 -->
00:22:54
And then Allah Subhana, Allah says, We taught him the art of making body armor, to protect you in
battle, when will you then be grateful? So Allah Subhana Allah says, forgive me, my back's really
hurting. So I keep moving. And it's because of this issue with my back. And it's really acting up
today.
00:22:56 -->
00:22:56
So
00:22:58 -->
00:23:36
unless pedowitz Allah grant is to all those that are suffering this little pain in my back is
nothing compared to what I'm sure many others are facing, right? So Allah subhana wa, tada is
showing us here, you know, he gave him the art of molding steel. Now, this is interesting, because I
was named that woods. And my father is a welder. And he's, you know, an iron worker. And he always
wanted me to take up his profession. And I don't think it's because profit though that he said, I'm
used to mold steel or metal or iron with his hands. But profit though that he has sent him, you
know, he had the ability to do so one day he was holding his his, he was holding a rut, right, an
00:23:36 -->
00:24:06
iron rod. And he was contemplating so much he didn't realize that he had bent it and molded it and
it took the form of his hand. Right? So that's how easily he could mold, iron Allah Subhana, which
Allah gave him the ability. Another thing that's interesting about Prophet deload, one of the
prophets of Allah Subhana Allah is that he not only had this, this ability to do that, but he used
it as a profession. He used to make armor for use in battle, okay.
00:24:07 -->
00:24:15
And he would make things out of steel out of, you know, iron. And so that was the profession of
Deadwood, LA, his center, okay.
00:24:17 -->
00:24:21
The cool thing about it, though, that I really want to mention,
00:24:23 -->
00:24:26
give me give me five seconds, I just really need to stand up.
00:24:41 -->
00:24:51
Today, my back is not working in my favor. I just needed to stretch a little bit longer. Good, there
we go.
00:24:53 -->
00:24:59
So Prophet dellwood Allah has sent him he had his own profession. So he was a prophet of Allah.
00:25:00 -->
00:25:05
messenger of Allah subhana wa tada a king, a judge
00:25:07 -->
00:25:52
but he earned his own wealth, he did not take wealth from the people of the land. And he taught that
to his son as well. So, amen. And so soon Amen. We subjected the raging winds blowing by his comment
to the land we had showered with blessings, It is we who know everything, Allah Subhana Allah gave
him the ability to control the winds and in addition to the ability to control wind, he also had the
ability to you know, speak the language of the animals he could understand that language I should
say. So he had an understanding of the language of the animals he understood the end, right when the
end was calling out to its people get back into your hole, right? So so the man or the his son had
00:25:52 -->
00:26:37
the ability to communicate with many of the creation of a loss of habitat including the jinn, okay?
He, he had jinn that would work for him, okay, they would work for him. We move on to Prophet tube,
which is just after the loss of Han with Anna in this chapter ambia of the prophets, Allah subhana
wa tada shows us, you know, many different prophets of Allah, and then he transitions into profit
are you and remember when you cried out to his Lord, I've been touched with adversity, and you are
the Most Merciful of the Merciful. So he cries out to Allah subhanho wa Taala Hannah, and Nima
Senya. One day over hammer walking in, and so he's asking a lot of hand with a hammer. So we
00:26:37 -->
00:27:07
answered his prayer. Allah says we answered his prayer and removed his adversity and gave him back
his family, twice as many double the amount of children as a mercy from Us and the lesson for the
devoted worshipers. My brothers and sisters we see in the Koran for in an electricity you saw in
Nevada city USA. And earlier today it was in the masjid and a you know, I saw it I met with you
know, one of the one of the board members
00:27:09 -->
00:27:40
and you know, he was telling me about you know, times and how things are difficult and so on. And he
said this himself he said, you know, Alhamdulillah for sure after all of this you know, they will
come ease and we were talking about the masjid and the donations and how things are, you know,
usually throughout the month of Ramadan we pull in here in Milton and our Masjid approximately
$200,000 right of donations that are given throughout the month of Ramadan last year
$498,000 $498,000 and 100 Allah
00:27:41 -->
00:27:47
this year 10,000 not even not even $10,000
00:27:49 -->
00:28:06
and my brothers and sisters don't think that the money that's raised is given only for the masjid,
for use throughout Ramadan, but the wealth that's given is used for the maintenance and the upkeep
of the mustards throughout the whole year. And we usually collect that throughout the month of
Ramadan.
00:28:08 -->
00:28:10
Yeah, it's really
00:28:12 -->
00:28:56
so we usually see that what we collect throughout the month of Ramadan is good for the whole year to
come right it helps it's not what we need entirely, but it helps drastically this year, my brothers
and sisters we need you more than ever and this is why in sha Allah Allah you know, we will be
asking constantly in the last 10 days in particular, we will be asking you regularly for your help
towards the masjid because my brothers and sisters we went from receiving $498,000 last Ramadan and
roughly around 200 to 120 you know 180,000 all the previous trauma bonds to now less than $10,000
this Ramadan, my brothers and sisters we need to do a lot more because this is the house of a loss
00:28:56 -->
00:29:33
of what to add. And you can just imagine if if that's how much we raised in the previous years to
upkeep the masjid and to keep things going and running and functioning and paying for the property.
If we don't have this well this year, Allah subhana wa tada to help us and so here profit a yoga has
sent some calls out to a loss of habitat and you'll see on Facebook I put the link there for those
of you who are Instagram you know you could put the link as well I've put the link to donate if you
know milton.com go to the mustard website and do your part you know we all need to contribute
towards helping the mustard have a loss of kind of water. So we answered his prayer and removed his
00:29:33 -->
00:29:59
adversity but in the interest of the user with hardship comes ease and that's what I was saying the
brother was saying you know what, after this hardship there will be some ease a lot promises it to
us, He promises that there will be ease that comes to us after this hardship. So inshallah inshallah
inshallah Allah with the help of Allah subhanho wa Taala Hannah, if we do our parts alone, we'll do
the rest to make sure that everything runs smoothly for us in our massage it. Let's move to
00:30:00 -->
00:30:12
The story of so that Allah subhana wa Jalla talks about is Marian Idris. kiefel Yunus known as the
moon. Right, the Sahaba known the man of the whale.
00:30:13 -->
00:30:59
And then Zakaria and yeah, and Isa and William and Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam In fact,
right at the end of the surah, verse number 107, Allah Subhana Allah Allah mentions, what are some
nucca illa Allah Al amin, we have sent you all prophets only as a mercy to the whole world,
attending it. So every single thing, everything human creation, all of that, the prophets of Allah,
Allah, you ascend them was sent as a mercy. And if he was sent as a mercy, that means we follow his
example. And we are also on this mission of conveying and transmitting mercy to everything and
everyone around us on the face of the earth. We need to be people of Russia, we need to be people of
00:31:00 -->
00:31:40
understanding we need to be people of, you know, decency, we need to be people that are composed and
proper. And you know, so how to like even when we dress, we should dress properly. You know, we've
been at home for some time now. But that doesn't mean that we should be in our pajamas all the time.
That means we need to get up and understand that this simplicities of life still have some sort of
beauty in it. And so if you're still in your pajamas right now, my brothers and sisters, go and
change. Turn up the volume and go and change put on some nice clothing, put something nice on, make
your family feel good. Spray some perfume on or put some weight on. You know, put your hand cream
00:31:40 -->
00:32:20
and brush your hair and groom yourself and look good for Allah subhanho wa Taala why my brothers and
sisters because in the Maha jemena Gemma, Allah Subhana Allah loves it when we are well presented
and look good. And remember, will not have some nugget in the land. I mean, a loss of Hamlet, and it
hasn't sent us except, and of course, he's referring to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
except that he is a mercy to all of this world. And we follow his example. So we need to be the best
that we can be children, youth, teenagers, if you're still sitting down and you're chilling, you're
like, Oh, come on, man. What is he going to finish this lecture on to get back to my video games,
00:32:21 -->
00:32:58
get up and go get dressed and look snazzy. Put something nice, I'll put a nice watch on brushed your
teeth. You know, use your use your miswak right. make yourself look good. make yourself feel good.
When you look good, you're gonna feel good. When you feel good. You'll give more for a while some
headwinds and and I'm not talking about more in terms of wealth. Talk about more in terms of all
kinds of very bad, you might be a child who dresses up nicely and you think to yourself, I am ready
to pray my son up properly. And you pray a prayer like you never prayed it before. Or you make a
door around like you never made a door hug before or you smile to your parents like you never smiled
00:32:58 -->
00:33:24
to them before. Right? You do something nice to all those that are around you because you feel good
because you look good. And so my brothers and sisters, let's make sure that we are also acting as
the prophets on a love ladder usnm did in showing mercy to all of the creation of Allah subhanho wa
Taala Allah, let's move off into solar to hedge. So we'll have to hedge is
00:33:25 -->
00:34:05
the surah that I'll teach you when we go for Hajj so we don't need to learn it now. Right? Wrong.
We're going to learn it now inshallah. Okay, and inshallah Allah We ask Allah to make it easy for us
to be able to go for Hajj this year. Everything is still left up in the air. We don't know. We don't
know. We leave it up to a loss of Hannah Montana. We ask Allah subhana wa tada to make it easy for
us. I was talking to you know, the brother this this afternoon in the masjid. About what what are we
going to do for age this year? We were hoping that you know, by now we would have a little bit more,
you know, loose restrictions on us that you know, would permit maybe gatherings of 20 or 30 or 40 or
00:34:05 -->
00:34:24
50 people that way we can have maybe a small gathering of feed and do multiple age prayers, one
after the other and just allow people to come in, do a quick clip and go out and you know, allow
them to enjoy that day of AIDS. But we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to you know, make it easy for us
during this time.
00:34:25 -->
00:34:34
So Hajj at the very beginning of this surah looking at what Allah subhana wa Genesis Bismillah here
watchman you're watching me.
00:34:40 -->
00:34:45
In essence, Anna test Sarah t she
00:34:49 -->
00:34:59
wasn't paying attention. Tannen says over humanity, fear your Lord, for the quaking of the earth
like an earthquake the shaking of the Earth at the end of time.
00:35:00 -->
00:35:21
In the last hour is surely a dreadful thing. So a lot begins this sutra by warning us, Hey, be
mindful, be conscious of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Why? Because when that last hour comes, when times
get difficult, when things are extremely hard for every single human being on the face of this
earth,
00:35:23 -->
00:35:55
we will either be connected to a law to the extent that things will be easier for us. Or look at
what he says in the second is a loss of health subhana wa tada says, yoma tahona, the day you see
it, every nursing mother will abandon what she is nursing, and every pregnant woman will deliver
her, you know, her child that she's bearing.
00:35:56 -->
00:35:58
Just that think of it.
00:36:00 -->
00:36:45
The love of a mother to a child is like no other love on the face of this earth except the love of a
loss of Hannibal wattpad. What we mean by that is, it's even used in the Senate to compare how much
more or less of Henry Diana loves us, He loves us even more than the mother loves her child when the
child is about to go through hardship or be thrown into a fire, for example, you know, go through,
you know, a difficult thing for them some sort of pain. And as a parent, I know when the child gets
hurt very slightly, especially me I get really like, Oh, my child is hurt. My child is hurt, you
know, bothers me. You know, I remember the day that I saw our child, mother, your mother while we
00:36:45 -->
00:36:46
were in Malaysia.
00:36:48 -->
00:37:31
And she stepped down. She was in a play place. And she didn't realize it was a step there. And she
stepped and then fell and broke her leg. She was a little child she was like was just a few years
old. 3334 years at three years old, I think. So Pamela, she broke her leg. It hurts so much. And
what hurts even more was the day that the cast came off. She was so scared to put her her body
weight on her foot on her leg because it was strange. She meant she didn't step on it for weeks. And
that hurts. And anytime that a child gets hurt, but just the other day leanness of how she was
trying to take a staple that was stuck out of the stapler and staple it into her thumb. And she
00:37:31 -->
00:37:53
started bleeding. Oh, when you hear about that, it's like, ah, something so small. It happened to
all of us. But still, as a parent, we feel it. We feel the pain, sometimes maybe even more than the
pain that our children are feeling right. But here a loss of habitat is showing us that even though
we love our children so much, and we would do anything for them, when the hour comes when the end of
time comes.
00:37:54 -->
00:38:38
We would leave them we will abandon them. We will be so worried about ourselves and our condition
and our situation that we will abandon them. And they know as human beings we're like no, we
wouldn't do that. No, but we will. Because Allah says that we will and he speaks the truth. Nothing
of what comes from Allah is not true. And so my brothers and sisters, it will happen it will take
place people will abandoned mothers will abandon their children. And the the stress of it, the
torment, the fear will be so great that those who are pregnant will lose their children. they'll
lose their child. Now imagine how it would be my brothers and sisters, this is what I was trying to
00:38:38 -->
00:38:52
tell is starting this powerful sort of, you know with, he then says, and you will see people as if
they were drunk, though, they will not be drunk. But the torment of a lot is terribly severe.
00:38:54 -->
00:39:13
May Allah Subhana Allah Allah protect us on that day, when there will be no protection except his
nothing, nothing, not even a mother will protect her child. If the mother won't protect the child
then there will be no safety and no protection, nowhere to run, except with the help of a loss of
Hannah what's ahead.
00:39:14 -->
00:39:43
And then we see my brothers and sisters. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us the creation of human
beings in verse number five, he mentions how we were created the description of it and we'll go
through it very quickly. He says oh humanity, if you are in doubt about the resurrection, then know
that we did create you from dust, then from a sperm a droplet then developed you into a clinging
clot of blood
00:39:45 -->
00:39:45
then
00:39:53 -->
00:39:57
this is unfortunate but my wife is calling and I'm going to have to ask her to just message me
00:39:59 -->
00:39:59
somehow
00:40:00 -->
00:40:00
Look
00:40:02 -->
00:40:03
Marwa
00:40:07 -->
00:40:08
Give me one second.
00:40:33 -->
00:40:45
Stan, forgive me I don't like doing this But times have changed and we're streaming from home and
this is what we have to do sometimes so I'll keep teaching and you keep going at it. It's okay I'm
gonna message her here okay
00:40:51 -->
00:40:54
all right so Allah Subhana Allah says
00:40:58 -->
00:41:01
and we developed you into a cleaning clot of blood then
00:41:35 -->
00:41:43
this is no good. This is no good on live streaming. But it is what it is. There's nothing that we
can do.
00:41:45 -->
00:41:46
Found it good
00:41:51 -->
00:41:56
Sorry, my wife is not home and I have the children with me and this is what happens sometimes.
00:42:21 -->
00:42:59
Let me find my live streaming again. Live Stream is paused. Okay. Hello, we're back on the stand.
I'm trying to finish on time and then I ended up having to delay Hello. Oh, could you okay? So
forgive me for that. Then Allah subhana wa tada says, from a cleaning clot of blood then a lump of
flesh fully formed or unformed in order to demonstrate our power to you, then we settle whatever
embryo and so Allah subhana wa tada talks about the creation of us, we came from nothing and then we
came into something and then we grew and Allah subhana wa tada brought us into this world, and we
were feeble, and we had nothing and then he will make us die, right? We were nothing and he brought
00:42:59 -->
00:43:34
us into something and he will bring us back to nothing and then from nothing to something again,
that is the creation of the lesson kind of what to add up for human beings right? That's how He
created us as human beings. And so my brothers and sisters, that is mentioned there in verse number
five, I really wanted to skip forward to verses number 26 onwards where lots of hand with Anna
discusses had, and he tells him about him. And remember when we assigned to Ibrahim, the site of the
house saying do not associate anything with me in worship, and purify my house for those who circle
the carrabba
00:43:36 -->
00:44:00
stand in prayer and bow and prostrate themselves right. So lots of Henry's ad is showing that he
gave the instructions to Prophet Ibrahim and it has sent him to build the character in that spot,
and to call the people he then says in verse number 27, called people to the pilgrimage what has
been seen as evil had yet to carry.
00:44:01 -->
00:44:26
Allah Subhana which Allah says and call the people to pilgrimage, they will come to you on foot and
on every lien Campbell from every distant path, my brothers and sisters, if we haven't gone for
Hajj, yet, you need to plan and prepare for it. And I'll tell you this, I never thought that I would
be able to afford to take my wife for Hajj never. And Alhamdulillah
00:44:27 -->
00:45:00
it just so happened I took my wife for Hajj already. Right. I never thought I'd be able to afford
it. And to be honest, I never used to go with hedge groups. Mainly because I thought to myself, you
know what I just don't have the time it takes it takes weeks out of your you know, your month or
your year, plus all the prep for you know, visas and stuff like that and getting ready and coming
back and then you're ill and it's difficult to travel afterwards. And some kind of luck, the very
first time that I led a group from Canada, right the time that the very first time I went from
Canada with a group. I ended up getting
00:45:00 -->
00:45:03
My wife, and I couldn't afford it. And I'll tell you straight I couldn't afford it.
00:45:04 -->
00:45:19
But a loss of hundreds and a mix ways for us to be able to take our family for Hajj, you know,
speaking to one of my friends, and he says, Look, if people were to simply cut back on a few things,
$200 every single month,
00:45:20 -->
00:45:56
cut back on a few things and put $200 every single month, within two years, we'll be able to go for
Hutch sounds like what really and so he's like, you know, he showed us he even showed the breakdown.
And he said look, if you cut back on this and cut back on that and you don't need this, you don't
need that and you could save this much in a month you're still living comfortably, but you're saving
on certain things right luxuries that we don't need. For example, you want to go you know, someone
goes and buys a watch $200 don't buy the watch if you already have one You don't need to write if
you already have one You don't need to. So don't buy the extra watch. If you already have enough
00:45:56 -->
00:46:34
clothing, don't buy more clothing, but the money that you would spend on that clothing don't just
leave it in your account, put it towards your hedge, feed it towards your account for hedge so that
every single thing that you were going to buy that you want, you don't need it you need to go for
how much you want to go for hedge and you need to go for hedge and so everything that you want put
it aside you don't need it right now. That money needs to go towards your hedge and inshallah you
will be able to perform your hedge very soon inshallah to Allah May Allah subhana wa tada accept
from every single one of us, then almost a pen with addresses so they may obtain the benefits in
00:46:34 -->
00:46:46
store so he says call them so they come from every single spot on this earth, they will come and
perform their hedge how many times now I go for hedge every single year Alhamdulillah and every
single year
00:46:47 -->
00:46:56
not bragging about it, I don't pay for it. I lead the group, right so I don't pay to go for Hajj. I
lead the group, but I had to pay for my family. Okay, so
00:46:57 -->
00:47:35
I go every single year I lead the group and I'm not trying to brag about it. I'm trying to use this
as an example and I hope that all of us get to go for Hajj together hope that you come with our 100
group. Because I would you know I don't have intentions on going with any other hedge group except
the one with unreal, right? And so, you know, when we go for Hajj every single time there are people
there that are crying tears, because they said we never imagined that we would be able to be here.
We never thought that we would see the Kaaba. We never thought that we would walk in the pathways of
Ibrahim Ali his Senate. We never thought that we would pray to it I can hide behind my phone on him.
00:47:35 -->
00:48:16
We never thought that we would run between the valley were huddled around between Safa and Marwa
looking for food and water and she found some some we never thought that we would drink zum zum
while standing above the Zamzam well. All of these things are things that people mentioned when they
go for Hajj. They never thought that this would happen. But Allah subhana wa tada makes it possible
for us. And so here we see my brothers and sisters, call the people to pilgrimage they will come to
you on foot and on every lean camel from every distant path, they will do what it takes to get there
for Hajj they will budget they will cut back they will those who are genuine and sincere they will
00:48:16 -->
00:48:20
cut out from the dunya what is needed to go for Hajj.
00:48:21 -->
00:49:11
So they may obtain what so that they may obtain the benefits that are in store for them. Allah says
this in verse number 28 have sudo to hedge so they may obtain the benefits that are in store for
them from who from Allah subhana wa tan and pronounce the name of Allah on appointed days over
sacrificial animals he has provided for them so eat from their meat and feed the desperately poor,
then let them groom themselves fulfill their vows and circle the ancient house and what does the
Prophet sallallahu usnm tell us that they will return those who have a hedge that is complete will
return home. Kay Yeoman, what a dead tome as though it is the day that their mother gave birth to
00:49:11 -->
00:49:23
them. That is the power of Allah subhanho wa Taala and that is his that is His mercy. That is what
Allah subhana wa tada has waiting for us so that we can go there he will bring us
00:49:34 -->
00:49:43
We ask Allah Subhana which Allah to bring us back, to perform the love to walk in the footsteps of
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
00:49:45 -->
00:49:45
to eat.
00:49:47 -->
00:49:59
From the food of what is sacrificed for Allah. To throw the stones in the spots where shavon was
trying to get to Ibrahim Allah has sent him and he fought him off. He was
00:50:00 -->
00:50:01
Did off shape on
00:50:02 -->
00:50:07
to see and witness the place where a prophet of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah
00:50:09 -->
00:50:12
got down so that another prophet his father
00:50:14 -->
00:50:19
can sacrifice him but Allah subhanho wa Taala saved him and protected him from that and the test was
passed.
00:50:21 -->
00:50:23
This life is a test my brothers and sisters
00:50:25 -->
00:50:30
and we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make it easy for us to go for Hajj
00:50:32 -->
00:51:13
to invite us back once again to pray in front of the cargo to see the cabinet to make the walk We
ask Allah subhana wa tada to open his doors have mercy upon us. I mean this is a time to make to
offer that my brothers and sisters Forgive me for the disturbances in the in the class today. It was
not intended May Allah subhana wa tada Forgive me for disturbing the attention of the students in
seeking knowledge. ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to open his doors have mercy and LACMA upon us to
shower his blessings upon every single one of us. I mean, just like a level of freedom of Attica
level of Econ, or some level of cinema about a canon of you know how Midland hemocyanin you
00:51:13 -->
00:51:16
ascending sending sent home or if you want to come to LA a little bit
