one of the major components of our faith
is love for our Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam.
And this is something which is well known to every single person
and part of this component of our faith, part of our love for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is that we have a longing and a desire to meet him. So the law while he was seldom
there were a group of people that Alaska was blessed. As the mama chef Rahim Allah said that when a larger Virgil created everyone, Allah subhanho wa Taala looked into the hearts of creation. And he chose from amongst them the most pure, the most noble, the most honorable heart to be his prophet and messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and then he looked into the hearts of people. And he chose the most noble generation, the most honorable and pure generation to be his companions, or of your loved one. These were a group of people that were blessed by Allah, blessed by Allah, that they should witness the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that they should live at that
time, that they should walk with him, that they should sit with him, that they should travel with him, that they should pray with him and fast with him and make Hajj with him and so on. These were a group of people that saw the happy moments of the prophet SAW Selim, the birth of his children, when he was married, the birth of his grandchildren. The times when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam expressed joy, but they also witnessed the times when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was saddened when the prophets on the lower the he was sending them was worried when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was harmed. When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was
sorrowful at the death of his wife, or the death of his children, and so on. These were the group of people that stood by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, through thick and thin, good times and bad times. Whether it was people coming to attack the Muslims, trying to kill the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So they sacrifice their lives, their wealth, their children, everything that they own, only for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam these were the group of people that when they would talk, they will often say to the prophets of Salaam, B, or B, whoever, May my parents be sacrificed for him. May my children be sacrificed for him, when my wife be sacrificed for him. These
were the group of people who when they would hear that their own father, their own husband, their own son had died in battle, they wouldn't care. All they would want to know was whether the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was harmed or not, whether he was safe or not. And this is why a large region has given them a lofty station in this dunya and in the next life. This is why Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about them in the most honorable way in the Quran. Was una overload Amina Mohan, Gina will answer they are those who preceded us. They are those at the forefront, the first from amongst Mahajan and the answer. And a larger version speaks about them and he says a lot the young
law worldwide, a lot is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Allah. And this is a test ification a testimony from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Allah is attesting to this, that Allah is pleased with them.
So if Allah is pleased with them, then how about everyone else?
Why shouldn't everyone else be pleased with them? Because if Allah has granted them his pleasure, then that is all that matters. And then Allah azzawajal mentions that they have Gardens under which rivers flow, they will abide there in forever. That is the greatest of success. That is the greatest of success. And likewise the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, in a number of Hadith. He spoke about these people, and he mentioned their lofty status. In one Hadith the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, that perhaps Allah azza wa jal has looked upon those companions that participated in the Battle of battle. And he said,
to him, Do as you please, for indeed you have been forgiven. by attending this one battle, by standing by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, even an act of treason was not enough to pass or circumstances, it was not enough to surpass this, this station that Allah had rented them, Do as you please, for indeed you have been forgiven. And so this was something which a larger version gave to those people. So how about those people then, who didn't meet the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam. They weren't able to stick with him. They were able to meet with him, they eat with him, they didn't drink with him, they never spent any time with him. They weren't even able to see him
sallallahu alayhi wasallam, let alone anything else. Those people who came in the generation, after the companions, or the generation after or after them, or like us, over 1400 years later, we to have a can have the same honor. This same respect, and this is the beauty of Islam. The beauty of this religion, the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala, that you two sitting here, in Stoke on Trent, over 1400 years later, can have a similar reward. You won't be as honorable as the companions, you can't be as good as the companions. You won't have that honor that they had. But you can have a similar reward.
And that was mentioned by Lars that was in that same verse when he speaks about the sub your own and our own those early companions from the Mahajan and ansara. Because a larger Waddell says one living in a terbaru home a son, and those who follow them in righteousness in excellence. Those who follow their footsteps, the footsteps of the prophet SAW Selim and the footsteps of his companions, or the loved one who is married, they to Allah will be pleased with them, and they will be pleased with Allah, and the two will have Gardens under which rivers flow and the two will have the greatest of success. And this is why, in the famous hadith of Oban robiola, one, one of the slaves of our
profits on the love while he was sending them, he came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and he said, O Messenger of Allah. Indeed, when I see you, I become happy. And then I go back to my family, and I become saddened, I become depressed. Because when I think about you, I yearn and longed to go and meet you again. And then when I meet you, I think about the Hereafter, about death, about when we will be separated from this life. And then I think to myself, that when Allah resurrects us on your will to Yama, you will have the highest of stations with the prophets and messengers of Allah. And as for me, that if I enter into Jenna, I will be in the lowest station and
look at the humbleness of these companions of the Allahu, even though they have given been given this honor by Allah in the Quran, this honor by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the companion says, if I enter into Jannah it's not a guarantee. If I was an entry into gender, then I would be in the lower station. I wouldn't see you, I wouldn't meet you.
So what is my position?
So a lot has been revealed the verse in the Quran, Mama UT la hora soon ecomondo Vina anomala la him. Mina Nabina, masa de Athena was Shahada, he was in La ecoffee, aka, those who obey Allah and they obey the messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then those are the people that Allah has favored. These are the people that Allah has favored, and they will be with the prophets, and with the truthful, and the martyrs and the righteous. And what a blessing companionship This is. So even for those who don't see the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they don't meet the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
them, but they follow in his footsteps. they adhere to His commandments and his teachings. They follow his Sunnah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They to with their sincerity and their actions can can attain that same station as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And so this is part of our Eman to have this longing, this desire this yearn to meet our prophets on the long way he was sending them, to lay our eyes upon Him, to meet him and be in his company. And what better place to meet our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then is in general.
They're under the shade of Allah subhanho wa Taala and the throne of Allah, then in a place where a large region has decreed that there will be no sleep, no any slumber, no any hunger, no any thirst, no any disease and so on. A place full of blessings. What more blessing Pleased to meet our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
that there is a condition to this meeting. It is not so easy to attain. It is not something which you can apply for. It is not something which you inherit, it is not something which you buy, not something that you download, it is something that you earn, it is not something which is easily attained. And so the companions or the loved one who asked our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, or messenger of Allah, a normal piano world when we meet you, wherever we meet, where can we come and see you and meet you? The companions are the alarm rang, whom live their lives with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, yet Even so, the overriding thought a normal piano is again to
meet the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam This was how strong their love was, that when they would die, they would recite verses of poetry about their love to meet the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam their love to meet the companions of Abu Bakr and Omar radi Allahu Allah, where will we meet you on Yom Okayama messenger of Allah. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, you meet me at my home, at my apartment. And this is a place where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will be standing, waiting to greet and welcome his oma, in sha Allah, people like me and you've made a large quantity expressing, he will be there waiting for us to come to meet us to greet
us. And he will be waiting to greet and welcome us in the most beautiful way. He won't just be sitting there. He won't just be busy doing something else. He will be standing waiting for you to approach and as you approach he will give you a cup of water from his pond sallallahu alayhi wa sallam water that is sweeter than honey, Walter and purer than milk, and more fragrant than the best smelling musk. Whoever drinks form it will never experience first ever again. This is the water that the prophet SAW Selim has, how much would we have given? How much would we have sacrificed? How much would we have spent just to serve the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam only once, just to give him
some food, just to hold his sandals, just to help him onto his writing beast, anything. A single thing that we could do in the service of the prophets are seldom. But the honor of this oma the honor of this oma is that on Yeoman, Yama, the prophet of Allah, the best of creation sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will be waiting to serve you. Not the other way around, he will be waiting to serve you to give you this water by his own hand. And what a blessing a cup of water from a blessing hand
that there will be people who will come on that day and they will come towards this pond and they will be Muslims. People who attest to La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah, they will be Muslims, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will recognize them as Muslims. But as they're being brought closer towards the home, the angels will come and they will intervene. They will come and stand in between them and the profits on the long run, he will sell them and then they will drive them away. They will push them back. And so the profits on the long run He will send them will look and he will say enmity, enmity. This is my alma This is my alma These are my people. Why are you
pushing them away? Let them come to me. And so the angels will say you do not know what they did to your religion after you. You don't know
What they invented in your religion, what they innovated into your religion, after you after your death, how they turned away from your son and your teachings, and instead opted to do what they wanted to follow their own desires, to follow their own doubts, to do what they pleased in your religion. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will see so and so on demon but de la vida de may they be distanced and removed from me, those people who changed my religion after me. So Pamela, imagine yourself in that place. Finally, coming to that area, finally looking and seeing the prophets of Salaam, finally thinking that you will be able to meet him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
and just when you're drawing close, and you're drawing near, they come, the angels come and they push you away. They push you away. And the reason for them pushing you away is because you didn't follow his thunder. Because you didn't pray the way he ordered you to pray. You didn't fast the way he ordered you to fast. You didn't give Zakat or make Hajj, the way the prophet SAW Selim ordered you to do so. And not only that, but humiliation on top of humiliation, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself will free himself from you. He Himself will say, Take them away. I don't want to know these people, those people who thought that they could enter into this religion,
something else after my death. And so my dear brothers and sisters, obedience of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is not just something which we talk about. It's not just something which we like to repeat. It is something which we need to embody. If we truly believe that we love the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, because this proof is not in words, but in action. A lot has been revealed the verse in the Quran
in quantum to hipbone Allah has to be Rooney, you should be como la jolla. philippou. Back home on Maha fudo Rahim say to them, oh Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. If in truth, you be love you truly love Allah azza wa jal. If in truth, you love Allah, then follow me. Allah will love you in return, and he will forgive you your sins and Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful. AlHassan busti Rahim Allah, one of the pillars of Islam, one of the scholars of the terbutaline, who studied under the likes of Abu hurayrah and Arusha and many of the Senior Companions. He said that during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there were many people who claim to love Allah. People
would say this, that we love Allah. Just as in our times, we have many people who make a similar claim. We love Allah. We love the prophets of Salaam. We love Islam.
And so what happened number three says allow wish to test them a lot. I wanted to test the truthfulness of the statement that they utter this these words that they say. So allow, reveal this verse. This is the true test of love. If you truly love Allah, you truly love Islam. You truly love the Quran. You truly love the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then follow the way of this great man sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And this is why even with Tamia Rahim Allah He says that no one will enter into gender except with these two conditions that must be fulfilled for every action and every statement. The first is last, to have sincerity for the sake of a lot to worship Allah and
Allah alone. And the second is to follow the way of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and even taymiyah Rahim Allah says that if you were to think about this, then you would find that these two principles are in essence, what is contained in the Shahada. When you say a shadow, a la ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah, I testify that no one no one has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. This is what it means that you worship Allah alone with sincerity, and that you testify that Mohammed is the slave of Allah, and therefore you follow Him, you follow his son, and his way Salalah while he was selling
them, and this is why a normal piano when those people will come who will have disbelieved in Allah, disbelieved in the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, allow me to call out to them with this same call with these two things. And he will say where yo Yuna D him for your Hulu aner Shoraka de la Vina quantum testimony on the day when allow will call out and He will say to those people, where am I
Is that you claim that I have? Where are those partners that you claim that a law has that son of a law that you worship, or that daughter of a law that you claim that he had? Or that other Well, he was a prophet, or that Angel of that stone or that idol that you claimed were partners with Allah, today call them, where are they? Because if they are going to benefit you, then now this is the day that they should benefit you. This is the day that they should come to your aid. This is the day that they should save you from the punishment of Allah and into into gentlemen, this will be one of the calls that Allah will make. And the second call will be where your Muna de hin for your poo
mother, a job to Muslim that Allah will call on this day and he will say, what response Did you give to the messengers that came to you? What was your response to the prophets of Allah, the messengers of Allah when they came to you, when they came to you with or when they came to you with the divinely revealed books? They came to you with Islam? What was your response to them? And so these two verses speak about these two issues of loss, and following the way of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and this is something obviously which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam reiterated over and over again throughout his Sunnah. in prayer the prophet SAW seldom said, some do
come out on Monday or Sunday. Pray as you have seen me praying in hajj and umrah the prophet SAW Selim said hello aneema a seeker can take from me your rites of Hajj and Umrah and so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was continuously telling the people to follow his Sunnah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And this is why the true test of guidance. The true test of Eman is following the prophets also known as original says in the Quran, or into the router. If you obey the messenger, you have been guided guidance is by following the son of the Prophet of Allah. If you obey the messenger, then you have attained guidance. And a lot of that which we'll see in another verse for
levina ama movie was Zoho one. So what about neurology on Zilla? hula? On the successful people in the sight of a larger region are those who believe in the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, those who support him, those who help him and those who follow the light that he was sent with the guidance that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had, and this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in the beautiful advice that he left for his companions and then for his own man, that our time would come when they would be many trials that affect us as Muslims, the Muslim ummah. So what do we do at these times on a commission nothing was so nothing qualified of Russia
dinner Medina de la have been a virgin, what year come
it is upon you to follow the Sunnah. My son, the son of the prophets of Salaam and the Sunnah of the rightly guided hollyford after me, Abubakar and Armando and Horace Mann and Ollie rhodiola
have been a big bite onto this with your molar teeth. Your molar teeth bite onto this in such a way that you never let go. Hold on to it as firmly as you can. And be aware of the newly invented matter. Be aware of innovating into this religion for every newly invented mirror is that innovation and innovation is in the fire of how
so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would give this advice. He would give this advice and even if the intention is sincere,
but you don't follow the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu alaihe will send them then the action is still rejected, even if the intention is sincere. So these two pillars of intention and sincerity and following the sin of the prophet SAW Selim, each one supports the other. They are not independent of one another. If you have sincerity, but you don't follow the Sunnah the action is rejected. And if you follow the sooner but you don't have sincerity in your worship, the action is rejected. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was approached by a man who came on the day of Ramadan. And he said O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered my sheep before the prayer. And the sooner
is to slaughter after the read prayer. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said who are shocked to Lachman, it is meat for your family. It is not the sacrifice of read. It is like any other meat
You sacrifice for your family. So the man said, O Messenger of Allah, I have nothing left except a lamb, except a small sheep. Is it sufficient for me? And he said, for you, it is sufficient for no one after you. And then he said, Whosoever comes to the lesson, and he plays with the Muslims, and then he goes and he sacrifices for Assad. He is the one who is correct. This man who came this companion or the loved one had intention and sincerity. He didn't do it because he wanted to differ with the prophets of Salaam. He made a genuine mistake. It even though he was sincere in his intention, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam rejected his action, he told him to repeat the
sacrifice. Why? Because he went in conflict with the with the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, during the time that the law had been missed. There were a group of people who in the machine was sitting around in a circle, and each one of them was holding pebbles. And so the leader would say, remember a lot of praise Allah glorified a lot 100 times and then using these pebbles, they would count 100 times Subhana Allah Alhamdulillah Allah, and so on. About Musashi, he came to me. And he told him what he saw in the masjid.
He told him what he saw in the masjid, and I'm delighted him was rude said to Abu Musashi, why didn't you refute them? Why didn't you stop them? Why didn't you rebuke and correct them. And then Abdullahi Massoud went, and he said to these people, by Allah, the clothes of the prophets are seldom are still in a state of being able to wear them. The dishes of the prophets or Salamis utensils have not yet been broken. And you have already started to innovate into the religion.
Because even though you are allowed to remember a lot and praise a lot of good deeds, the way that they were doing this, in a group counting with stones was not from the sun. And so the man said, Oh, Abdullah,
we only intended good without action. And Abdullah Massoud said, how many people who intend good achieved nothing but evil. How many of those who intend good achieved nothing but evil. So this action was rejected by the companions, or the loved one who was
so following the son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is an essential component of this religion. Ibrahim Rahim Allah has a beautiful statement concerning following the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He says that following the Sunnah means that you submit completely and wholeheartedly to the way of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and you give him and his tone of precedence over yourself. And this is what Allah says in the Quran. And bu Ola, meaning amin unfussy him, the prophet of Allah has more right over the believers than their own songs. During his life, he has more right to your children more right to your lives, more right to
wealth, more right to your positions. And after his death, he has more right than your desires and your doubts that you follow him over everything else. As in Napoleon Rahim, Allah he says. So therefore, guidance cannot be achieved, except through the words and statements of our profits on the law while he was selling them. And this means that whenever an order comes, or whenever an issue arises, we go back to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And he is the one who judges in this and then we accept His judgment, as Allah says, In America, meaning is no law. He was solely Leah Kuma Bina whom a yopu Sameera now, like a homophone. Indeed, the true statement of the believers is
when they hear the call of Allah and His Messenger, that they say, we hear, and we obey,
we hear and we obey. Indeed, these are the people who are successful. Those people who when they hear the commandments of Allah, the commandments of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam. They don't stop to ask why. They don't stop to think about it and ponder over it, and maybe research it for another few weeks. Rather than those human that commandment comes, they say, submit. Now Aparna, we hear and we obey. These other people have success, and that Mahima whole life continues, and he says, so having pleasure being pleased with the commandments and the judgments of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam even if they go against your own desires, this is what it means.
To truly follow the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and then he mentions the verse for now why because now you know nahata you have chemo coffee Masha Robbie known tamala G doofy, unfussy him Hara Jemima when you suddenly Moses Lima, know by your load, a lot of swearing by himself, no by your loan, you do not truly believe until you make him meaning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, a judge in all of your disputes, a judge in all of your disputes, and then you submit completely and wholeheartedly to the judgment that he gives.
And you don't find within your hearts, any rancor, any disagreement, any doubt or confusion concerning the judgments of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So these are the three components of following the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to give him precedence over yourself, to take guidance from his words and his statements, and then to completely and wholeheartedly submit and show pleasure to the words and statements and judgments of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and this is what we see from the lives of the companions. They were the embodiment of this following of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They were the ones who lived
and breathed these principles. They were the ones who truly had perfected the Shahada team. And so Pamela, how amazing there is. The first thing that a Muslim learns is La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah, but how few of us have yet to perfect this single statement. how few of us have perfected our sincerity to Allah, and truly following the way of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
Abu Bakr on the long run, the greatest of the companions, the greatest man after the prophets and messengers of Allah, the first person to enter into Jenna from this oma after his prophet son alone while he was sending them.
A man once came to him, and he gave him some food. And it was the habit and customer Abubakar to ask about where the food came from. But on that occasion, he forgot. So he began to eat from the food. And as he was eating, he asked the man Where did this come from? So the man replied, in Jaya helia, before Islam, I was a fortune teller. So I told someone's fortune, and that fortune turned out to be true many years later. So today, he gave me some money for the fortune that I told him many years ago. And with that money, I went and I bought this food from you. With Abu Bakr radiallahu had this, he stuck his finger into his throat, and he began to make himself vomit, vomit at everything that he
ate. Now in Islam, this is not something that you have to do. If a person eats something out of ignorance, or as a mistake or error of forgetfulness, it is forgiven in the Sharia, it is forgiven, there is no sin, there is no harm. But Abu Bakr radi Allahu Allah who insisted on vomiting out the contents of his stomach.
So the people said stuff, what are you doing? Why are you vomiting? Because the people knew that he was forgiven. It was a mistake. There is no sin incurred. So Abu Bakr radi Allahu Allah who said by Allah, by Allah, if it meant that my soul left my body, I would continue to do this. For I heard, the prophet of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, couldn't do just that it would have been Haram. For now. olavi everybody, there is nourished and haraam than the fire of * has more right to it. Anybody which is nourished, and how long, how long food, how long drink, how long clothing, than the fire of * has more right to that body than anything else. And so the profit and so Abu
Bakar on the long run, because of the statement of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, even though it was a mistake, even though he was forgiven, his he man, his following the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is following the Sunnah meant that he couldn't live with himself if this food remained within his body, if his body benefited from such a source of nourishment. Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu would often say
that I will not leave anything that I heard from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam because I feel for myself, that if I were to leave even a single thing, I would become misguided.
Look at the man of the companions or the loved one. Look at the true love that they displayed for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam Not a single thing. Anything that I hear that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did, I will do, and I will not leave it no matter what the consequences. And this is why after the death of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when
The army of Osama bin Zayed or the loved one was preparing to leave Medina to go and fight the Romans. The companion said to Abu Bakar withhold this army, cancel the battle, tell the army to come back. Because the Muslim Ummah at that time straight after the death of the prophet SAW Selim was in a state of turmoil. People refusing to pay Sokka other people are stating from Islam, others claiming to be prophets after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the Romans and the Persians now thinking Islam is weak, the Muslims are weak, they want to attack the Muslims withhold this army, keep it in Medina. And so Abubakar de la one who said by Allah, I will never untie a knot,
that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made by Allah if it means that there is no one left to defend Medina except Abubakar, I will send out this army. Why? Because it was a commandment of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, it's not an obligation. Abu Bakr has the he has the right to withhold the army to cancel this, but his love for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he's a man in the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam meant that he couldn't live with himself having canceled something he knew that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered and the Baraka and the fruit and the blessing of such a following of the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam is that the army of Osama bin Hussein went to Rome, and they beat the Roman army. And they returned victorious when the people thought that they were weak. And this caused the Romans to be scared of the Muslims, that even at a time of weakness, when the Prophet and Messenger has died son a lot while he was alive, they still defeat us. They're not as weak as we think. And so this was the blessing and the fruit of following the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and one of the Ummah one. Look at the way the companions understood the religion, understood the Sunnah, where he would go, and he would make a walk around the Kaaba, and he would come to the Blackstone
and he would kiss it, he would say, by Allah, I know you are a stone, you can't benefit me and you can't harm me. And if it wasn't that I saw the prophet SAW Selim kissing you, then I wouldn't kiss you. Even as something as minute as kissing a stone. something so simple, something so small, something which isn't an obligation in the religion. Yet this was the extent to which they followed the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And it wasn't just about following the Sunnah. There wasn't just about loving the prophets or selling them, but it is about protecting the sun as well. Preserving the Sunnah, keeping away the innovators and those people who will harm and dilute and
submerge the sinner with something which is evil, something which is foreign and alien to it. And one of the last one was once in his house, and Abu Musashi radi Allahu anhu came, and he knocked on his door. And Omar was busy, he didn't answer. So he looked a second time and there was no answer here, not a third time. And there was no answer. So Abu Musab left and what are the Allahu qingjian later? And he said, Why did you leave after the third time?
He said, because I heard the prophets on the law while he was telling them say that you seek permission to enter three times. And if you're not granted permission, then we turn
on one of your loved one had never heard of this hadith. He said, By Allah, you will bring for me a witness. Or I will make an example out of him. And Abu Musashi is not just a small companion, a minor companion. He's a one known famous companion, a companion, who narrated many a Hadith of the Prophet SAW Selim armor is saying that if you don't bring me a witness,
that what you're saying is true. I will make an example out of him, I will beat you and make an example out of you. So boosah became scared, because he knew armor, and he knew what armor would do. And if he made a threat, he would carry it out. So he went to the other companions, and he began to ask them, has anyone heard of this? Until one of the companions? And he said, Yes, I heard him. And so they went to the prophet SAW some of them, and they taught us to model the long run. And they told him that this is something which the prophet SAW, Selim said.
So I'm one of the one who said to Abu Musa by a lot, it wasn't because I doubted your truthfulness. It wasn't because I thought you were a liar, or an innovator. But I just wanted the people to know that they couldn't play with the son of the prophet SAW Selim. This was the love, their protection, the pride that they had the loyalty that they had to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. I wanted others to notice you Abu Musab i thought was a liar. But there are other people who didn't meet the professors who don't have such strong Eman. Who might think that they can play with the Sunnah. I wanted this to be a lesson for them. And this is why it was famously reported from
Ramallah, the Aloha
If something came to him a new issue arise, and he didn't know the ruling, he would go back to the Koran. And if he couldn't find the ruling, then he would go back to the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And if you couldn't find the ruling there, he would look at the decrees of Abu Bakr, viola one. And if he couldn't find it there, he would gather the major companions and he would ask them for their opinion, embodiment of the advice of the prophets of Salaam, follow my sooner than the sooner the philosopher that come after me, practically living and applying the advice of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam during the time of man, love your loved one. He
held the opinion that when a person goes to Hajj, they're not allowed to make tomato. They can't make Ramadan Hajj into separate homes. It is not something which is allowed. And he would openly tell the people not to do this. He would forbid them from this audio Viola one who came and he made the Tobia for tomato. He made the Tobia for tomato enhancement. So this man came to me and he said, How come you're doing something that I'm forbidding other people from? I told the people they can't do it, and now you're doing it. And so on the road your loved one who said I will not leave the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu early He will send them for any individual. This was the love of
the prophets of Salaam, even though it loved one another and this man is a great companion and he has a high enough distinction in Islam. Even if it is a man that says something which is in contradiction to the Sunnah. Then this man is rejected. The statement of man is rejected. And the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is given precedence,
obey even in Karbala, the Allahu anhu would advise people and he would say, I advise you to follow the path of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and to stay by the Sunnah. And if you do this, and you fear Allah and as a result of fearing Allah, you begin to cry, then know that Allah will never punish you. And I advise you to stick to the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And if by doing so, your heart trembles from the fear of Allah, then know that you will have your sins removed, just as a as a tree that is dead, its leaves fall off from it with the wind. This is how Allah will remove your sins because you fear Allah and you follow the Sunnah of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
even the loved one who was known to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu. And he will send them to the extent that when he was traveling on a journey, he would hope that his cameraman would step in the same place that the prophet SAW sometimes camels stepped in that same route that the process of them took many years ago, he would hope to follow that exact same route. And he would say hopefully, my camera is treading in the footsteps of the camera of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, one of the students of Evelyn Ahmad a man by the name of Napa, a great scholar, he said that it would be a lot more than once heard the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam see about one of the
gates of mystery, the nubbly that this gate should be left for the women. The men should enter from here, the women should enter. And even though after that, the other halifa has changed the rulings they allowed men to enter. I never saw Abdullah Ahmad enter from that gate because of what he heard the prophets of Salaam say, even though the ruling was changed by others, because of his love for the process element is following up the sooner he would follow it to such an extent that he wouldn't dare to step through that gate. And he would follow the sooner to such an extent that the people would fear for him because he was going to such lengths that he would go to the same place where the
prophets of Salaam walked the same place where he stopped even the same place that you related Salalah while he will send them while chroma qumola this was the extent to which he followed the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So my dear brothers and sisters, part of our Eman and part of loving the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the major component to perfecting our Shahada La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah is to truly and sincerely follow the way of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And I want to leave you with a statement of a great scholar by the name of Abu Bakar
Rahim Allah, Allah, Abubakar, as he said, a woman came to him and he said, that I find that there are many people that people go and listen to. A man sits down and he begins to speak and the people converge around him and they begin to listen to the words he's seen, irrespective of whether they're right and they're wrong. So Abu Bakar Allah He said, know that if a person sits down with the intention so that others will
come and listen to him, then the people will come around him. If that is his intention, that people should just come and sit with him. It's not for the sake of Allah, He wants fame, then the people will come and do so. And then he said that know that the people of the Sunnah are those who when they die, they're remembered still lives. And the people of innovation are those who when they die, then their remembrance ties with them. Those people have the sooner those who embody the sooner and they revive the sooner and they live the son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and because of this, Allah azzawajal has given them a portion of the verse where he says to his profits on the
levoir, and he will send them What are fat now look at the crop, we have raised your station or Mohammed, we have raised your mention, we have raised your praise, because they embody the sun and live the sun and revive the sun, they to have a portion of this reward this honor, they to and their names and their remembrance true are raised. As for those who dismiss the sun in this regard, the Sunnah of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then they will have a portion of the verse in a shanty alcohol up top, the one who disregards the Prophet he is the one who is disgraced and destroyed. So even after the death of the prophet SAW Selim, even though you can't praise him for
the love when our lead will send him You can't defend him physically. Even so, there is still a way to achieve this phrase and this honor and the station and that is by following his Sunnah, and by defending his Sunnah sallallahu alayhi wasallam will largely grant his true love of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam where he makes us from amongst those who truly follow the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and making gatherings with the prophets of Allah and with the righteous and with the truthful and with the martyrs and what a blessing companionship or sort of loss of
salvation.
