			It's indeed the pleasure to be able to bring you this beautiful program relevant to this time,
because a lot of times what we generally see in and around us is, we do not use the summer vacation
that we actually get for our children in a way that we should use in a way that we can make more
results from our children's time, energy and focus. Now, that's the reason Alhamdulillah we have
come up with this program, and online practical program for parents to enable, you know, the summer
productive for their children in Sharla. Let us begin with the program outline, in order to
understand what all we are going to cover in the seven days of journey. As we mentioned, these are
		

			going to be seven days, that we will be together every single day with a session to highlight to
understand to, you know, gain the momentum of being, you know, equipped with, with a way that we can
actually make our children's, you know, some are more productive. So let us go through with the
program outline. Day one, we will be covering insha Allah productivity in an Islamic perspective,
what is it all about in order to have a proper definition of it, so that we can direct ourselves,
you know, in the same direction we'll be talking about in the day one, what is this program all
about? So, we'll be talking about the introduction of the program, and how exactly this program, you
		

			know, is structured in inshallah, we'll be talking about the reasons why this program is important
for us, it is important that we all realize the need of these kinds of programs for us to actually
equip in a way that is practical, realistic, and, you know, bring results in Sharla We will also be
talking about the approach that we have actually adopted for, you know, pursuing this beautiful
program for you. So, that's what we are going to cover in day one. In day two, we shall highlight
some of the Golden Rules of parenting in general and particularly for in the context of summer, you
know, holidays will also touch base about about introduction of five key areas that will be you
		

			know, highlighting on So, that's what we are going to, you know, cover in day two, in day three, we
will be talking and beginning our first module or first area of focus and that is spiritual
productivity or spiritual development, how we can actually look into the spiritual productivity
aspect, what are the things that we are going to, you know, you know, equipped with in terms of
spiritual productivity or spiritual development, day four, we will touch base on the second area,
that is morals and manners development of our children. So, how we can actually, you know, ensure
that we develop morals and manners of our children during summer holidays. day five, we'll be
		

			talking about the social development. So, how your and my child can actually become more social in
and enhance the skills to connect with each other, you know, socially. So, that is what we are going
to discuss in day five. day six, we will be talking about physical development, another very
significant area for our children to have a significant you know, physical development. And day
seven, which is the last day of our session, we'll be talking about skills development, so how we
can add
		

			recognize and understand the skills that our children you know are blessed with and how we can
actually enhance, improvise and develop their skill sets in sha Allah be in the light dial up
particularly in summer holidays and in general as well. So this is the program outline that we have

see, this is a universal call of everyone, every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his
flock. The leader of people is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects. A man is the guardian
of his family, and he is responsible for them. A woman is the guardian of her husband's own, and his
children, and she is responsible for them, the servant of a man is the guardian of the property of
his master, and he's responsible for it. So it no doubt every one of you is a shepherd and is
responsible for his flock. So, it is our responsibility to take care of their, you know lives. Now,
		

			let us now understand as a part of session one, what is productivity in an Islamic perspective, we
hear a lot of times you know, productivity and you have to produce more results and so many things
in fact, now what is productivity in an Islamic perspective, productivity in Islamic perspective
means the balance between all intentions and actions in life that will give the greatest output for
the smallest effort. This is what productivity in an Islamic perspective means the balance between
all intentions and actions in life that will give the greatest output for the smallest effort for
example, productivity of usage of time can be measured in terms of the number of good intentions and
		

			deeds you have produced in some fixed amount of time. Right. So, for example, you are you know,
reciting, for example, La Ilaha Illa LA, how much did he you know, take How much time did it take?

			This is the most heaviest thing on the scale on the Day of Judgment. You see few seconds have

			about the program itself. productive summer program is all about enabling, equipping parents, to
explore key areas, where productivity or development of children is essential to focus by educating,
evaluating, and empowering with the help of Allah subhanho wa Taala by optimum utilization of key
resources, like time, energy, focus, skills, and money.
		

			What are those key areas that we will be working on? Number one, spiritual development, what is the,
you know, a
		

			way to develop our children spiritually how they can be enlightened and and shine out spiritually.
That's the first area area number two, we'll be talking about their morals and manners development.
So we'll be having a very nice way to, to deal with, you know, the development of morals, and
manners with lots of exercises and activities that you can do with your children, right in your
homes. The third activity, the third focus area is social development, how your child can connect
easily, practically and effectively with others, how he can actually inculcate habits which are
really important for him to be able to live in the society. That is what we'll talk about in social
		

			development, physical development. You see, we need to understand that Islam is our dean and Dean is
a way of life. So when Islam is our Deen, which is a way of life, it prescribes by Allah subhanho wa
Taala. And it describes by Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the overall development of our lives.
And this is what the beauty of Islam and this is how Islam is distinct from all the other religions
of the world. It takes care of all and the overall development of you know, our, our lives. So we'll
be talking about the physical development, how you can make sure your child develop physically by
sharing few tips and techniques inshallah, the fifth year, which is the last area that we will be
		

			talking about, is the skills development. Now, this is really important, our children should handle
law, they are equipped with the, you know, lot of skills that we many times, you know, forego or we
don't really focus on as a result, we don't develop that. So this
		

			you know, area, we will actually highlight significantly how we can actually recognize those skills,
list out those skills and work on those skills to, to to make sure that they actually shine out and
brighten their lives insha Allah be in Allahu taala so making you know, their dunya and enabling
their enabling them to make their aka is what our objective is. Right? So Mark these words, making
their dounia and enabling them to make their art Hara is an effort of parents that we will all
together be doing an extra
		

			This views in sha Allah. So these are the five areas of development. And these are the resources
that we have to use, you know, in an optimum way that time, energy focus skills money. So because a
lot of times, we don't really know how to go about what is the direction that we have to take, in
terms of, you know, making our children's summer most productive. So they have lot of time, I must
tell you, my brothers and sisters, I have children, I know I see them, I observe them, they have a
lot of time, when they have time, if you don't keep them busy, they will just waste their time. And
if we don't have that program for them, to be occupied, to be engaged, to be busy, they are going
		

			to, you know, produce, you know, wrong results. And we just can't blame them for that, because we
haven't programmed them to engage their lives in this, in this free time that they have, we didn't
recognize the their energy, you know, where is it invested, we need to really, really understand and
observe well is that their energy is being drained, where are they investing their energies, right,
and, and how we can actually elevate their perception and, and direct them to invest their energies
in a way that will give productive results in Sharla. And we need to understand that nothing comes
without focus, this is a key resource that we need to understand focus is what we require focus is
		

			what will enable us to develop, you know, our children all in all these areas. So we'll be talking
in detail about that as well. skills, as well, you know, is a resource that should be tapped, I'm
telling you this out of my experience, that majority of the children, their skill set is becoming
dead, or it dies sooner or later, because it is not number one, recognized. Number two, appreciated.
Number three, it is not eventually, you know, developed, so we don't recognize their skills as a
result, we don't appreciate it, you know, and if we don't appreciate, obviously, sooner or later, it
is going to die. So we need to ensure that we find out what skills they have, how they can use it,
		

			where they have to use it and how they can use it effectively. Money is another resource that we
have, how are we spending money on our children is a is a wise thing to think, you know, we just
can't buy for them, you know, toys or video games or whatever, you know, things which which has no
purpose for example, we need to make sure that they live objectively, they need to live objective
life, purposeful life, meaningful life, and that's how they are going to gain the fruits from their
lives in a meaningful manner when they actually live with a purpose with an objective and they know
how to use these resources and they know how to develop you know the these areas inshallah
		

			This is what all about the program Sharma. Let us now reiterate why this program is important. If
you are still wondering that as to why this program is needed. I know how to handle my children, I
know how to engage them how to I know how to connect them, I know how to develop them. Well. We need
to realize that it is always beneficial to listen, to understand to give a chance to give a scope or
and make a choice of the program and and equip ourselves. My dear brothers and sisters we need to
realize parenting is all about

we don't want them to live, you know, a poor life, we don't want to, you know, we don't want them to
be hurt. And we want them to eat properly, to live properly, to wear properly to go to wear about
you know, all these things, we want them that we need to actually elevate our true love for our
		

			children for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala and understand that we will be we have to build, you
know, a true love for them, which will help them in this dunya and in our era as well. Because we
just can't, you know, see our child in under fire, for example, we just can't see them we can't
tolerate so how can we tolerate that aka to be like that? No way, right that as we began with with
the widow, I have the Quran go on forsaken, forsaken. Wa Alaykum Nora, save yourself and your
children from the fire. So this program inshallah it will empower you to reflect your true love for
your child or children for the sake of Allah subhanho data. That's number one. Number two, it will

pious generation. Number three, it will help you to reflect that you as a parent need to be
seriously committed to add value to your children's lives. As I said, Stop outsourcing parenting,
it's our responsibility, and we need to be committed for that. Number four, it will help you
practically and effectively to make use of their time before they lose their time. Number five,
ultimately, it will also enable you this program, it will also enable you to save them from the
displeasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala and enable them to earn the pleasure of Allah azza wa jal so
		

			that they will become in a true sense, your coolness of eyes, insha Allah to Allah, and what would
be that beautiful moment to make our children as coolness of our eyes, and that is what we all you
know, look for. inshallah,
		

			that is about why this program, so we talked about five reasons why we are actually, you know,
during this program and why you should attend, and why you should continue this beautiful journey of
seven days. In this program. Final thing in, in today's session, we'll talk about our approach, our
approach will be,
		

			will be very simple, actually. And straight, we will be working on three E's letter ease through
five W's, letter W, five W's and one edge letter edge, one edge on five areas. So we'll be working
on three E's, that is educate, evaluate, and empower. And we'll be working through five W's. That
is, what, why, who, where, when, and we'll be working on one edge and that is how, so what we are
actually going to do is for instance, when we actually talk about spiritual productivity, right,
spiritual productivity or spiritual development, how are we going to study this? Our approach will
be we take spiritual development, and we will have three you know, ways how we can actually do
		

			Development, number one is to educate in education or educating ourselves about spiritual
productivity, we will be
		

			going through these five W's and one edge approach that is, what is spiritual productivity, why
spiritual productivity is important, who has to develop spiritually when this spiritual development
is required? Where do we have to do this spiritual development and finally, how we can actually do
spiritual development, this is how we take care of first and that is educate, then we will talk
about evaluate in evaluation, we also need to know what is evaluation, we need to understand how do
we evaluate our child after educating how do we need you need to evaluate our child, why we need to
evaluate why this evaluation process is really important, who has to be evaluated and who has to
		

			evaluate right, this is also very important, when do they have to be evaluated, where they have to
be evaluated, and how to evaluate your child
		

			that is, second he evaluate right after educate, evaluate, number three is empower. The third, let
the third E of three E's is empower, empower, we will talk about what is spiritual empowerment, why
spiritual empowerment is required, who has to be empowered spiritually, when that empowerment is
required spiritually? Where do they have to actually do the empowerment spiritually, and how you

			manners, social skills, and physical. So we'll be talking about educate, and then all five questions
what why, where, who, and when, and how, and we will evaluate what why, where, who, when, and where,
and then how, similarly, we will try to empower our child by understanding what why who, when,
where, and how, this is, how our approach is going to be in terms of each area. So, as I mentioned,
we will we will take up each area one by one, and try to develop in and try to develop a strategy
that will help us to understand, you know, this way of of developing our children, and thereby we
will actually equip ourselves in a in a way that is, you know, simple, real and practical, inshallah

understanding to begin with how important it is for us to, to ensure that we become competent and
responsible for our children. And we need to shoulder up this responsibility, because we will be
questioned about our children right now. And we also talked about what is productivity and an
Islamic perspective? What is this program all about? So we took actually an insight of the program
in a in a holistic way. And we also talked about why this program is important, talking about those
five reasons why this program is important. And finally, we actually concluded with an understanding
		

			of how our approach is going to be while we do this program, session by session, we ask Allah
subhanahu wa taala to help us continue, can this program and in and help us out enable us to
empower, you know, morally, spiritually, you know, and most important, we ask Allah subhanaw taala
to accept this effort from us and make our children the coolest of our eyes and I conclude with the
same idea with which I began,
		

			the meaning of which is, and those who say, Our Lord grant us from among our wives and offspring
