AI: Summary ©
To be ready for something, the first thing that you have to do is to repent to Allah subhanaw taala that you repent to Allah subhanho wa Taala and returned to Allah subhanho wa Taala it's to acquire and to earn the Mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala you must meet those days with repentance to Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah Subhana Allah says what to do you know where to boo Illa Allah hates me and you and me know that Allah come to flee home and repent to Allah subhanho wa Taala all of you were to bow in Allah and repent to Allah, all of you, are you Helmut minumum are believers, the Allah come to flee home, so that you may be successful. So our success in this world and the Hereafter is
dependent upon us returning and repenting to Allah subhanho wa taala. And the second thing that you have to do is, of course, you have to make the conviction, you know, just like with everything that you do in life, when it's something big, you plan it out, right? When you go in and have even gone on vacation, people plan it, right? They spend time and you make sure that you have everything ready. And so the same thing with the dean, we have to be even more, and we have to be to be ready to make the conviction and what is our plan? Our plan is, you know, what work, this is the first 10 days, they're the most blessed 10 days of the year, then be we should not treat it the same way. It
should not be the exact same days. Like okay, what I do normally, okay, you don't continue doing everything that you normally do. This is these are special days and that that you should make the conviction. The first thing is the intention. The intention, why would why is it very important to have the conviction that Azima and the intention, because if something were to happen to you, you would get the reward anyways, even if you weren't able to do it, say let's say you become sick, or something happens. You will insha Allah because of your conviction, you will ensure earn the reward even we don't do it because you already had the intention. If you are truthful, then Allah Subhana
Allah will Allah subhanho wa Taala will help you and that's why make the conviction and also make the attention and make the efforts don't make it the same thing. Allah subhanho wa Taala says, As soon as you do that, Allah who will guide you will help you and that's why Allah says well, Elina Jaha Davina Lana dn learn at the end Nam Subala. Well, Latina Jaya had fina, who those who struggle in our path, we will guide him to to our path, those who struggle in the way of Allah subhanho wa taala, we will guide him to our path which means what, when you when you like we only pray for you for what performs you had and you had of course is of course there's the fighting jihad. But as
Jihad also is any type of effort that you put in that you you exert. So any extra effort that you exert, Allah will guide you, the Nadia, no superliner, Allah will then make it easy for you to do good deeds, and Allah will show you but the first step to do is you have to show it in action. You have to start it once you started. Allah subhanho wa Taala will make the rest easy for you and Sharma. And of course,
you know when it comes to obedience to Allah subhanaw taala first is in the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala and the patience and obedience of Allah and patience, also in abstaining from that.
Staying away from the Haram so in these acts on these days, especially if there are certain things, certain habits that you're used to doing, stay away from those habits, make sure you make take full advantage of the time because these are times in which Allah Subhana Allah Allah has given you and made us we you might not like you go out, especially living in the United States of America. You know, you go out and you don't see anything different. You don't see anything change. So if you're living in Medina, right away, you Oh, the first 10 days are here. What do you see you go out and there are people all over the place from all over the world, like it's actually his, if you live in
Mecca, everything has changed, right? And so as as Muslims also, there are certain things like you know, that in a Muslim country, you can also feel a little bit more, you know, you have the spirit and everything. And just like in America, you know, somebody at the end of the holiday season towards December, you see everybody, you know, they put all these decorations up and they put and it's like it feels different, right? It feels different for Muslims living in a non Muslim country. Some of these days that are considered very, very special. We don't see anything different. And that's why we have to struggle even more. It's a little bit more difficult for us.
I try to also to make it something that to remind each other and to help in sha Allah in making it making it more unique and more special. Because these are the days in which Allah subhanaw taala as
blessed and when we say less, this is these are the days in which you do very little, but you get a lot. You know, these are the times in which Allah subhanho wa Taala has given to us like these, this is the best day these are the best days of the year. And when we say what does it mean by the best days of the year. These are the most these days if you doing good deeds, the more beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah subhanho wa Taala will reward you greatly also. And so, when you want to earn the Mercy of Allah subhanaw taala you increase your actions in these days in which very beloved to Allah subhana wa Tada. So Allah subhanho wa Taala swears by these days, Allah says, Well, if I
did, well if I did well in Asha and then 1550 are the scholars of the city have said they are out there they have,
you know, the majority of them are of the opinion that these first these 10 days or these 10 Nights, Allah says welfare by the by the Dawn by the DA when
and when he swears by something, this is something that's very significant, he doesn't swear by anything in the significant and the loss of Hanworth Allah when he swears by something is to emphasize that point. Allah subhanho wa Taala swears by the well al in action by the 10 knights, by the 10 knights. Right What the 10 Nights. Yes, the 10 days in. And this is this. This is also one of the reasons that one of the reasons that makes the first 10 of the ledger. so special is that the first 10 days, and the first 10 nights, the days and the nights are blessing or special. Most of the time when we speak about the first 10 nights of Ramadan, or last 10 nights of Ramadan. It's the last
10 of Ramadan, it's the 10 nights of Ramadan. But when it comes to the first 10 of the ledger, these are the days and nights that are most placid and most deeds doing done then are most beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah and Allah subhanho wa Taala calls these days a yam and Malou math, these are very, very well known days. What do we mean if something we say something is Malou is very
famous. These are like, amazing, you know, these are like, well well known meaning these are the days that are considered
famous, you know, say when you you know, like when you mentioned certain days, or I didn't know that there was this that and you know, like, sometimes, like nowadays, you know you have so you have new holidays all the time in the US, especially like, oh, it's people are not going to school today. Why? Why are they not going to school? It's Juneteenth. Like what we didn't I don't remember having that racket. I haven't growing up, this is something that, you know, it's a federal
holiday. Right. And so most people, maybe are unaware of these days, right? Maybe some people are like, Oh, okay, you know, it's it's just the regular day Oh, not special. And as a federal holiday, what is it? What is it for? But you know, when somebody mentions like the Fourth of July, it's like, it's an old holiday. Everybody knows about it, right? It's well known. It's, it's the first or the beginning of the beginning of
you know, the beginning of
the year, for example, New Year's Day, everybody knows it's something that's famous that's popular, it's well known. So this these are the well known days a lot says, Well, yes, well, yes close Mullah in the way of course malai he I am in my Lumads in the days that are I am Maluma these are like very well known days nowadays are are are are known to I mean people that this is also in the days of work. This is also believe it or not even before during the time, before Islam in Jamelia they did have you know, these were the days of Hajj were very very well known. And Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Well, you will Yeah, of course Mala V hmm And Nomad Allama Rosa, who mean behemoth Al Anon
upon what Allah subhanho wa Taala has provided for them.
The the cattle and animals that of course, that we slaughter and I am in my Lumads
According to the webinar, Omar Abdullah Abdullah vas, these are the first 10 these are the these are the days, the first 10 days of the ledger. These are the first 10 days of the ledger and the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentioned another Hadith. These, the Hadith and an Al Bazar. Hubba hubba. And hadith is considered authentic, authenticated by a Lima Emmanuel, Allah from Jabir ibn Abdullah here,
and then the V sallallahu alayhi wa sallam call, so, the Prophet sallallahu sallam said, for the aim of dunya
I am an ASHA
the this the the virtues,
the virtues, and
of the days of this dunya are in the virtues of the first 10 of the first 10 Yeah, the the first of the ledger. And he said this they said, well I with Lavon Nafisa vilella Like even if he's a biller, it's not like it there's nothing like it's there's no there's nothing like it will ever flow Nafisa Videla, there's nothing like it, even in the path of Allah subhanho wa taala, even in even in Jihad visa vie Allah except for a person for a wedge Hovik Torah than except for a person who has already gotten his dirt paths, you know, in other words, he's, he's, uh, has dirt on his face. And when does a person get dirt on his face but there are
that once he dies in the path of Allah subhanho wa Taala a Shaheed one who dies in the path of Allah subhana wa Tada. And of course, one of the be one of the greatest days.
Yamuna one of the greatest days, the day
Yeoman Yeoman Yeoman * Akbar the day of the Hajj to great heights. What day is that? What is the day? We are Mahajan? Awkward, it is young Arafah. And some people they say oh, when our offer comes on, it comes together on a Friday. No, you haven't hijacker is the the greatest day in height, which is I'll hide you, or offer. Hajj is our offer. Why? Because if you don't miss, if you don't catch our offer, then you know you don't catch touch at all. And that's why and you have to be there at nighttime, at least at nighttime. So of course it's so neat to be there from Lahore. But it has to be part of the night day and the night. Part of the day and the night if you missed the day, the
night is sufficient. As long as you get two out of five before Fajr because the end is failure. You go after five, then it's doesn't count. And so that's why those people who are sick, who came to make hij and they're in the hospital, you know what they do at nighttime, they put them in there.
They put them in the
a the ambulance, everyone in the hospital, who's who's in the hospital on the Day of Arafah. They put them an ambulance and there's a roll of ambulance. All they do is they go to Ottawa and they come back out then they bring them back to the hospital. Why because as long as you're in Ottawa, and the night before Fajr then you're then you have hygiene shock because a lot of them can't came to make hij came to make hij but they're sick and so they can't go to Ottawa. So they're in a hospital. So the hospitals put them in the ambulance at nighttime and they go into our office and they come out right away. As long as you get just a few moments in Ottawa, you go straight through
and you come back out at nighttime then insha Allah you have had, then you have had everything else you can make up that but the thing that you can't make up, make up for is the Day of Arafah even if you if you miss like you know, the waffle waffle hide the waffle if our let's say you don't make the awfully fun, you know, you can still come back a few months later, you go home, come back a few months later, and go make your tobacco hatch.
Because the most the majority of the scholars have the opinion, there is no limit to when you can make your thought holy father. Some scholars have mentioned that it's the end of the hijab, but there's no specific proof in relation to the but the greatest day
falls into the day the day in which do islands application, it is the day of, of Arafah and it is the day in which Allah subhanho wa Taala forgives people of their sins. Allah subhana wa frees his servants from the from the from the hellfire and Allah subhanho wa Taala boasts
to the angels about those about the people
We have Arafa so that one of the things that makes it a great day or the first 10 is because the day of RFI is in it also. And it is the day that Allah subhanaw taala perfected is de Leon ACMA to la cadena calm Whitemane to Allah communality or only to local Islam Medina it is the day that Allah subhanho wa Taala completed his religion, his deen and, and so this is the greatest blessing that anyone has anyone can have is the deen is the Islam is faith is Iman. Because you can have anything else you can have all the money in the world. Or you don't if you don't have Islam and you're a loser, you're a loser in this life, and also in the hereafter this life because you don't know why
you're here. And you and your life is in shambles. If you don't know what you're doing, and why you're here,
then, and in the Hereafter, of course, you'll be the Greatest Loser. Why? Because the only religion that Allah will accept is Al Islam and Allah subhanho wa Taala completed it on the Day of Arafah. And of course, there are many virtues of the Day of Arafah and sha Allah who may that's for another time each other will speak a little more on the day of autumn and the virtues of it. But also, what makes the first 10 so special. It is also the day in which the you know, it's the day of slaughtering, you know, oh yeah, these are the days in which we slaughter and the days in which the Pilgrims slob and if you're not making pilgrimage also, these are the days in which meaning the last
day of course, you will eat the 10th right the 10th is also a day in which you do all the after, after the the hotbar and so forth, and it's the day in which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said of them I am and Allah Yamuna although I am the greatest days in the sight of Allah is the day of slaughtering Yamuna which days that is eel ILAHA, Yamuna sama Yamanaka, and then after that, these are the days that follow right the days that follow in terms of there are also
these are the you know the the eat, you have eat day and then you have IOMeter
and you have, I am at the ship, and also what makes this also something what makes these days. So great.
If you have a scholar and he says well let the Yamaha
and the sub 50 as it will hijack the mechanic steamer Yamaha EBA, the TP the reason why these days are so special that make these days stand out is because all the major acts of worship are combined. Meaning all the major acts of worship, which is what of course we pray all the time. And then you have a cm the fasting, you can fast anytime the first 10 days at the same time. Also the fast thing Oh yelman Arafa for those who are in Ottawa, and this is a for me. So for those who are not in Ottawa, for the pilgrims, they don't fast. As soon as they don't find some of the scholars like some of the Hanafi scholars are of the opinion that is recommended even fast even in Yemen that day. But
the prophets alone did not because he was he stood up and he sat on his camera, and he drank to show everyone that he wasn't fasting. You know, so he was on his camera. And a lot of times the prophets Allah would be on his camera. Whether you might think well why the Prophet Solomon is very humble. He's very humble. He saw his Oh, he's usually always walking. And the only reason why he's on his camera is because people are always crowding around him. And everybody wants to know what he's doing. Everybody wants to know what he's doing. And so that's why the Prophet sallallahu when he made a walk around the Kaaba,
here at the beginning, when he made the walk around the Kaaba, he was on foot and then everybody was crowding you imagine you're like the Prophet Solomon zero you have 1000s of people. Everyone's going okay, what is he doing what is he doing so that we can do the same thing? Right and so because it's hard for people far away they see and they're always crowding around him. It makes it very difficult for him to make the walk at the same time also makes it difficult for everyone else who's crowding around him also. And so the profits on the lawn and got up on the Casa which is because what his camo is camo anyway to offer on the on the on the on the walk around the cabin has camo and so
there's some scholars have said, No, you should always work
The default you should work only if you need to that you should dry because the prophets have needed to be on his camel so that everyone can see him. And because everyone was crowding around him, but he didn't start making the offer on his cat on his camera right away. But the stronger opinion of Allah Allah is that it's permissible to do so. But the Messenger of Allah even Yamaraja the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam got up on his camera and he was he would stand up and also the he got on his camera, he may do it. Because you know, when you get on your camera, everyone can see that everyone is trying to see what the Prophet sallallahu wasallam is doing. Because he said, Who do I
need monastic fo take from me your rituals, the X rich, the ritual acts in in Hajj. And so that's why in hajj, or in the first time was in hedger, you have the prayer, we have the fasting of Yama, Arafah, you have sadaqa you're given charity also, what kind of charity we give any type of charity. In fact, you can even give the cat the majority extra you know, the companions of the Prophet sallallahu didn't all wait for the for like how we do it in the month of Ramadan. Some of them in fact that we have a lot of narrations from some of the companions. They used to do it the Mahatma so there are three times 310s 310s that the scholars mean the companions and the great scholars used to
use to
elevate and status us to look at see, look at it as significance. What are these 310s 310s Right, the first 10 the first the first 10 on the ledger, the last 10 of of Rome of Ramadan, Ambrose the other 10
was the other 10.
Last 10 of the ledger a first time on the ledger, and the last 10 of Ramadan. What's the other 10 by now that the scholars use like oh, these 10 These 10s are coming. These 10 days are here. The last 10 of the Ramadan, the first 10 of the ledger, what's the other 10
the first 10 I'm hardcore, very good. Mashallah, firsthand, Mahara. What's the first step was to attend tomorrow?
It's Ashura, right Ashura, but they also used to consider Muharram, very significant in the first 10 of Muharram, to be very significant. So these are the 310s that are significant. The scholars and the companions of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam used to elevate in terms of status, and so you have sadaqa and then of course, you have Hajj, which you cannot do, except in the first except for the hedge. Right. And so when this hedge end hedge actually, after Arafah, the day of Eid, that's, technically that's the, that's the end. If you've done that much only, then your hedge is finished, and everything else is sort of like a follow up. You understand? So once you're an offer, you go to
most deliver the next day read. That's it first. That's the first 10 and afterwards is I am attached to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, I am at a hurry because what I am actually we're short. Basically Allah, I am an attorney, or should with Aquila is today's eating and drinking and the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa taala. So you have for example, you had the first 10 days of the last 10 days of the last 10 days of Ramadan, what's the last 10 days of Ramadan, the last 10 days of Ramadan are part of Ramadan. And then after that Ramadan was the first of Shaohua is E. So R E. R E, the biggest the greatest day is the 10th day, this day of slavery. They have tawaf the day
in which to competitive you do the stoning. And, and the pilgrims, of course, are also, you know, they shave
during Hajj. And once they do that they get out of the state of Bihar, right? They get out of the State of Iraq. That means it's, you know, they're just everything else after that you make off of
the three days of Eid that follow that follow afterwards. And so, but of course, it's sitting, of course to continue and it's actually why Jim, for the pilgrims to stay the 12 the 11th and 12 also and the 13 is something that's optional. It's well, when we say why, Jim, why Jim, is something that you can make up that you have to do it. But you can also make it up when you say something as foreign or broken. It's something that you can't make up, right. You can't make up like you miss it. It's over. It doesn't count. Like for example, if you're praying if you
grade four records and you miss just one.
If you miss just the you know, any of the, let's say for example, you didn't read a Fatiha or you did not. You did not make sujood
you did not make such or do you did not make Rico, can you make it up?
You have to bring a new one neuron, a neuron
A neuron. And if you miss the whole thing, you miss any of these major things? If you can't make it up, you can't make it up. But so do the salary. Like okay, oh, no, I forgot to I actually forgot to make real cool. Let me make sure you to say no, you have to do the whole raka that you missed over again. So that's the word form in the word wajib. To the to the different language, it is something that, you know, even as scholars have said farther and wider were the same. According to the majority of scholars, some of the Hanafi an app, they said No, those are two different things. And I think that the the
terminology of why given for in terms of its usage, based on even the majority of the scholars consider those two different things. So like, let's say, for example, when somebody makes will do, or somebody does something that's wajib it means that you can't, you can't purposely leave it. You can't purposely leave it you can maybe out of forgetfulness by mistake, then you can make it up like say let's say for example, somebody makes hides, and they go past me o'clock and they go like, you know, I don't want to I don't want to I do not want to put my haram and drag it to Mecca.
I don't I don't have time to like, I don't want to be on the on the on the on the car or on the plane, where they haram on let me just get to Makkah get to my hotel, and I put on my IRA, can I do that?
Can I do that?
I'm not allowed to do that. But what if I did that? Because I know there's some people like some brothers. The big either it's due to ignorance or they didn't know. Or sometimes they just, you know, they, they are taught wrong. Because I know there's I remember a whole group.
There was a whole group.
This whole group that came from Vietnam, they're on the plane, and they go into Mecca, and I meet them and like you guys just got here. Like yeah, we haven't What are you there? We're gonna go on and get out put on ramen as like what? The early American Indian for? Yeah, Ron yet says no, we didn't. We didn't know. Because their leader he doesn't know anything. Like he has no no knowledge of the of jeans whatsoever. He brought the whole group like at least 70 or 80 people. And none of them had their aroma.
Right. And then I told them the main thing when I went to visit them, I told them you know you have to have you have because if you pass the meat off, you have a haram before you, you know before before you arrive because you're the plane is going to enter the areas inside the airport already. So you have to be in a state where when you come in, it's not an option. So in this case, what what's something that they could do?
That's something that they should do.
Yeah, but if let's say they don't want to swap,
they could go back to the me class today. They can go back to the McCourt, not outside haram but they go back to mica and then they do it over so they can make it up either by going back and coming in again correctly. But then they don't have to do anything. But if they don't, then they have to pay them right which means they have to slaughter. Why because they went that's not an option. You can't just say okay, oh, even if somebody who's rich they said you know, you know you know I can pay? I 10 sheep no problem.
10 sheep No prob about I want I want I want an easy height relaxed height. Are you allowed to deal with somebody says can I do that says no, It's haram you're sending by go by leaving something that's watching something that's mandatory, like some I know some questions or brothers or some some people, they're like, Okay, can I come? I know. Can I just you know, it's very difficult for me Can I just go into Mecca? On purpose make go into Dida and then stay and get that and tomorrow I'll go out to the new part. And then I'll come now do a round from there.
Can you do that? No, you can't. Why? Because you came into you pass to me about intending to make Onra. So you're you can't purposely you know, you can't purposely You can't leave something on purpose. But if you do so forget fully then it's either excusable or you can make it up. Like for example, one one thing like that Hanabi Allah. Imam Muhammad is of the opinion
Milla bass Mala saying Bismillah before we will do is, watch.
It's larger, it's mandatory. But is it a condition for the validity of Gudo?
It's not a condition. He said, why Egypt when you remember, which means what?
It means that you cannot, you cannot abandon it on purpose. You can't just say, Okay, I know I should say this minute, but I don't care.
I don't care. If you do that, then then there's any.
If you forget, let's say, Okay, I've already made although I didn't say Bismillah and you're finished Hamdulillah. You know what, you didn't do it on purpose. You forgot, it's okay. It's excusable the same, there are certain things that are watching what's something, that's why we're in prayer. In prayer, it's mandatory upon you to have concentration to concentrate.
Right? I guess mandatory upon you to concentrate to be fully, appropriately, you know, to count when I say to concentrate, it means that you have to be reflecting upon that which is considered an act of worship.
You understand? So you can think about sometimes you're praying and you're thinking about your sins, you're repenting to Allah, and you're focusing on the meanings of this, it's okay to be thinking about things that are beneficial for you in your deed.
Or, and that's why sometimes officer
mentioned is sometimes I'm praying, and I'm, while I'm praying, I am trying to set up this so soldiers, like, Will for Managua, he's thinking about the tactics and jihad. And you know, who, how should he put the lines, and so forth? He might say, well, that's not concentrating in prayer. Like yes, it is because it's part of the deen you're concentrating on something that's considered a bad worship the word about your in prayer, but you also focus on your prayer and focus on the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa taala. And so so who is one? Who is mandatory? Which means what if it's what it means okay, let me see if your Allahu Akbar way.
I want to see how much money you have in my bank account. Let me check this out. Okay. Like, oh, I know, I should be concentrating like this. Let's put that aside for now.
Like, do I have an option to put that aside?
And you remember it? No, you remember, you have to come back.
You don't have like, okay, no, I'll come back afterwards. Later. Let me just let me focus on this verse.
Or somebody says, Okay, this is perfect time for me. hamdulillah Allahu Akbar, this is the perfect time for me to, you know, to, to see,
to focus on you know, some of the some of the things I'd say my my business Let me count, count, but what are they? What's the inventory Allah?
Okay, what do I need to buy? Like, might as well you know, make use the time? Like, no, this is not the time for that. Right? That's those dunya affairs. Don't get mad, put that aside for now. Anything that's related to the deen of Allah subhanaw taala and focusing on the meanings in the Quran and the Sunnah. And your DUA and your supplication? That's something that's mandatory. When we say why is it that means you can't abandon it on purpose. You can't neglect it on purpose. You can't neglect it on purpose, you have to focus will be focused. And so
when, you know, the first 10 days, which will hit you, of course, are the first you know, that's those are the days in which a lot of the pilgrims are coming in, to make into you know, as for for the Hajj. And, and I just want to just as a side point here,
when it comes to intention, actions of the heart, some people they think that you know, hey, when I make them all do, I'm coming to pray, Allahu Akbar, I already know and I already knew ahead of time that I'm praying, do I have to have an intention? Because there's two types of intentions right? That which you do for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala and intention and determine what kind of worship you're doing. So am I praying Lord, or am I praying Asad. So some people they are very neglectful, and this matter, and they even sometimes you make fun of people who don't do it. So they they say, for example, oh, you know, since you made wudu, for the whole already, you know, you're
going to pray them. You already know. Right? So what do you do you have to do you have to have the intention. The attention is in the heart, but like right before I pray, do I have to have that intention? Do we have to like yes, you should. Why?
What's the proof for that? The proof of that is in the action of the prophets of Allah in Hajj.
When the Messenger of Allah said Allah, Allah made Hajj. Do you think he was planning before the end of the companions? Were planning ahead of time? Yeah, they plan weeks ahead of time like you know, he's 10 and then the goal, okay, so when you come putting it in Haram, you don't have to say anything, you already know that you are going to make Hajj anyways. But he didn't just like put on an arrow and not say anything.
No, he stood here specifically. And in fact, ALLAH SubhanA wa Dalits sat down in order for him to make a halal that means to make the intention to begin his act of worship, with the intention of combining Omar and Hutch and so that's why you say Allah Byculla, Houma, Umrah or Illa de colo, Umbra will have unruffled hygiene ombre with hide, or just Omura only, or just hide when you're doing a fraud. So that's what you're determining those protect those specific, so the intention has to be there also. But sometimes there's leeway in the intention of itself. Right, especially when it comes to hedge. So you have to be specific, right? You have to make a specific hedge intention,
you know, for the Prophet, so I lived in Bhutan and he came to make Hajj he puts on an album, he's not with the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. He doesn't know what the prophets of Allah and did, what kind of heights he's making, is he making, you know, and of course, second pen is made highs before that. The year previous to that. So they know the rulings in relation to a haram and so forth. Right. So and, you know, the actions of hydrogen for the people of Arabia, even before Islam, when the major actions were very, very well, we're very, very known. So he, what did he do? He made hajj, he said, you know, my intention to make Hajj is the same as the intention of the Prophet
sallallaahu. I don't know what he's doing. I have no idea what he's doing. But that's my intention. Right? He said, I want to make the same. Whatever he's doing, that's what I'm doing. And he didn't specify which one because he doesn't know. You know, like, okay, the profit time is there already. I just got here like, what did he do? He just he spoke to everybody, but I'm not there. It's not like you were on and what's happened group like, Oh, what did he do guys, where you guys name was telling everybody know, in the old days, you don't know you're not there. You don't have the information. So he says, Okay, I'm going to make the same intention. And the profit is approved of that intention,
even though it wasn't specific. But still, there's an intention there, but that's specific for like Hajj, right, that's specific. But still, the focus on the intention is something that some people neglect. Like he himself, he knew that he should make an intention, even though he didn't know which one exactly, but he, okay, what did you What did you do? He came to the profit zone later on. So the messenger Whoa, I didn't know what kind of hides you were making. So I just said, Yeah, Allah, I'm making the same letter here that the Prophet Solomon did. That's what I'm, that's what I'm doing. And then he goes, then he tells the Prophet said, Allah, Allah and the Messenger of Allah approved
of it. Right, but the fact that what did he do?
The fact that he himself made the initial effort to have the intention here, that's why some people, but there's also there's also a, a,
there's also a worse WhatsApp for some people. They go the Oh go overboard. Because of the shutdown. The shutdown is very, very, very tricky, right? So he makes you
some people Hola, hola. Hola. Because they know this rule because they hear about the scars or you have to have intention. And your intention should be during the time that you're actually doing the act. So like, oh, I don't have the intention. It's not correct it Wait a lot. A lot. What am I praying?
Right? Is it how many raka other former so it's like and then as soon as the listen to the crazy part is that person will continue to have West lesser and tell the Imam goes on record.
When the man goes Rocco some something amazing happens.
He's sure now his attention. He got the right he got he gets it right. He gets it right. As soon as a man goes to record. Why? Because if he doesn't get it right here, I was gonna pray another NACA
is gonna do and let me tell you something. Now, why would the shape on?
Why would the shaitan
not make him continue to have his vice versa?
Why would the shape not make him continue to have as well so they will, you know, think about it. What's the benefit? His benefit is he's trying to lessen if he can't stop you from praying. He's gonna delay you from joining the club.
congregation. Okay, so now the Imam is on Roku. What is the benefit of him joining? Right away? Yes.
So he doesn't make extra sujood and RUCO?
Because if he doesn't count this raka What's he going to do?
You want him to cuz he was ordered to make record and he did it.
He believes he was ultimate record, he did it. And now and that's why when you forget, when you get you forget something when chatter makes you forget you do so do the salaries. Why?
Why do you suggest that because the prophets, Solomon said he said, the shaitan will say, He will say he will turn around and run and he will say, I, I was ordered to do it, and I did it. And now, because I made him doubt in his prayer, I must admit, but he made more sujood I don't want him to make more sujood right. Yeah. So it's like, okay, you bother to be him. That's what you get what it's like, that's what you get.
That's what you get from messing with me. In alga did more sujood. Right. And so he doesn't want that. So a person who has this West WESA
this, that the shaytaan whispers and makes him doubt all kinds of doubts. As soon as a man goes, amazingly, he goes, All right, that's it. I got it right. hamdulillah because he doesn't want to miss the next one.
The person himself doesn't want to pay extra. Right? Why does he want extra? Why?
More time? More sujood more outstanding. More Rico extra. Now this loco was not gonna that's a good, it's not gonna count. Right? But you're still making, then you're gonna make more sujood a whole rock an extra kind of extra sujood and external cool, right? So that's, that's what immediately Hola Hola. Hola. Hola. But the mangos Allahu Akbar. He remembers right away. He remembers right away. But so the shaitan always tries to tries to distract distract you. And he doesn't always distract you from to do bad things. So he if he's a he can't you make you do bad things, he will make you do the good thing so that you won't do the better. And he'll make you do better, so you won't do the best.
And so that's also and if he can't stop you, he'll delay. It will make you procrastinate. procrastinate. So anyway, any point to lessen the reward that you get. So these first 10 days, what makes these first 10 days so special, is because Hajj is one of the main one of the pillars of Islam. And you cannot make hides except for the first except for in these days. Right except for in these days. And so HUD and the Province of Nova have had you out of and I'm the Latin ambassador of the Allahu Anhu he said that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Ma'am in am Ma Min a year there are any days right which means what? They are not there are no days at all. Not even Ramadan
not even the last 10 nights of Ramadan none Mamod am Lamelo Salihu fi hubco Ilala him in hatherleigh that good deeds are more beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala in these days, these are the last 10 days or the first half of the ledger. Fallujah Rasul Allah so they said O Messenger of Allah Okay, so there's nothing there's nothing equivalent to it there's nothing equivalent to it at all
in listen to this one this is what makes these days so special. Because he's they said you call the yellow suit Allah well as you had to face heavy Allah, even Jihad free sebelah like even the hafizabad Yes isn't even Jihad feasibility. Okay, so what is equivalent to it?
If jihad is even not equivalent to it, then what is equivalent to it?
The thing that's equivalent to it is Illa Rajan. Except for a man Harada be enough see him O'Malley he thought Mala Mia jet medallic Abishai except for a man that goes out with everything that he has his self and his wealth. And he doesn't return with anything at all. He leaves and he returns with nothing. What that man? What is that?
There's nothing
there's nothing
So there's nothing like it, except for this one.
Most people think no, no, this is better. No, this is what you this is the reward.
The reward is greater than you had to use a beat Allah, and is equivalent
to someone who's that who dies in the path of Allah Subhan Allah.
And you know what, what is that person who dies in the path of Allah what to do?
When he when a person dies in the path of Allah, what does he want?
He must Jana. Yes. But what does he want?
After he after he dies? And he realizes he has shahada, and he's died, he sees the reward, what does he want?
He wants to come back and die again.
He wants to come back and die again. The path, he wants to come back over and over and over and over and over again.
So Subhanallah, every day in the day, the days of the hedger, the reward is so great. That's equivalent to somebody dying in the path of Allah. Right, and that person died in the path of Allah who want to come back. So we are living in the day,
the days and nights in which all of those people who have passed away, they wish that they were still alive to worship Allah understand.
They wish they could come back
to worship Allah, there's nothing like it.
There's nothing like it. And the thing is, the problem with us is, when we don't see, we don't see that, you know, you don't see or, you know, when you see your money, you go to work, you get your bat here, and you get your check. You cache it, and you see the bank account of God. That's what I got, right? Let's see, the thing is, you don't see it. You don't see how much you're getting in terms of the reward.
But if someone were to say,
if someone were to say like, to us right now, if you go to work tomorrow, let me tell you,
what you're going to get the salary that the the amount of money that I'm going to pay you.
Right, is going to be paid to the person, let's say, who will get who think about someone who makes the most money in a day.
Think of someone who makes the most money in a day. Like what's like what's the crazy amount of money that some people can some some people make? Let's say you say like, a million dollars, some people like yeah, a million. All right, a million a day. Like probably more than that. But let's say a million dollars a day. Like, okay, you're gonna get more than that.
Like, that's the so the compania thinking, what is it? What's the one? What's what's, what's the one? What's the greatest reward? What's the deal with the has the greatest reward? The best that everybody wants? It's you had that you had feasibility law that said, You know what, you're gonna get more than that?
Do you you will never think about a job that is the highest paying job that anyone in this world can do.
Right? And you're gonna get more than that. You're gonna get more than that. But you know, only the first 10 days.
You work these first 10 days and you get more than the richest person, the person with the highest salary. If this wasn't a dunya. Right, and you get to see it right away. Like, which one of who who amongst us would just like be sleeping and hanging around? Like, ask it today, you know?
Call in sick. You call in sick or not?
You're not calling in sick, right? You have Oh, my your wife was like, no.
Can you bring the shopping loan on? I can't bring you shopping today? No, I gotta work. Right now. You're not going to change your plans. Your plan is going to revolve around that job. There's no way you're going to miss it. I don't care if it's Super Bowl going on.
Or whatever it is, you know, like the World Cup. Forget it. Forget it. This is like the what? A million dollars a day. Would you miss the Super Bowl course? You'd miss everything.
A million dollars a day. You might miss your son's wedding.
Right?
Yeah, right. You might miss your son's credit like
your mother would be this
like 200 Allah, right? You would plan everything around that if you knew how virtuous is this
for the me known for the believers, and that's why there's the scholars that before
When these days came, they spent their nights and prayer
and recitation of the Quran. In decay. They did not waste a single moment because the reward is so great willagee had a visa villa. One they had the facebook facebook event he had. He's a real Allah, even Jihad feasable and Abdullah Amara de la and Houma he, he meant related another Hadith and hadith is that Imam Muhammad he says, Quinn to render rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
I was with the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
And he said,
and, and we mentioned the deeds. You mentioned you were speaking about deeds and he said Muhammad, Allah monofin, of Dolman hydrological, there are no days in which deeds there are better than these 10
and even even Jihad feasts Aveda even has visibility Allah
and and so he said even we had visa villa. And so the Prophet said a lot he has some said except for a person who lives with herself herself and as well and
he and of course he passes away there in I'm mentioning this because sometimes this is this is another Hadith and the one that's very very well known of course is the Hadith in
from the Lagna Ambassador de la Hana very similar wording has also come to us from Abdullah Ahmad radula and Homer and so what kind of good deeds if we know that what kind of good deeds can you do that these days? So inshallah we'll go through some of those deeds. The first thing is the best thing you could do
is make Hajj during these days hiding Umrah
and Hajj and Umrah and of course the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said Illuminati Lomira Farrakhan, the medina Houma between two cameras is expiation between them will hijack Magro and hajj that is accepted. Like Sal hula likes Allah who deserve a little Jana and the hajj that is accepted, there is no
more there's no reward for it except for Ghana. There is no reward for it except for gender. So what is hijama? Brewer? Alhaji Mr. Brewer is the hajj that is according to the Hajj. That is the hygiene that was taught to us by the prophets of Allah is doing it according to the Sunnah, and following the steps that the Prophet sallallahu lessem ordered us to do. So. Some people when they make Hajj, they're always looking for the easy way. They're not looking for the Sunnah. And hajima bro is someone who's looking to follow the profits of their lives. And when he's not able to that's when he that's when he looks for a you know, like a sort of like a fallback or that's what he looks for. You
know, an exception, right? But some people when they go right away, they look for exception do I have to stay in Mina? Do I have to say you know, sadhana, okay, so now that means I don't have to
have you say sadhana is I know that means that I don't have to and so the majority of scholars of course are saying that you have to stay in MENA the 12 the 11th and 12 That's something that's mandatory and but
hygiene mob rule is also that which you stay away from sins and hygiene abroad is that which is sincere you're not doing it because you want others to call your hygiene or you don't you're not doing it because some people get they go make Hajj because you know, they just want to show off and there are some people I'm gonna make hij because you know,
my you know, my my parents are like always on me like let me just make guys get it over with the kids and say anything anymore. Right? No, you make hide for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala even though the Hajj is made may be valid, but Hydrotest mob rule is the one that is sincere for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala and it's not done for notoriety and so forth and that's why in Hajj there are a lot of people a lot of brothers making * like
here I'm gonna the gap gap already you know where I am right now you know what this is?
They have their where they had their phone, like you may be laughing I want you to look within there. You'll see brothers like doing this raising their phones. And they're like, I have actually walked by somebody said, Hey, brother, you know where I am. You know where I am.
Is Oh Ma sha Allah sha Allah like, and he's on. He's on WhatsApp live on WhatsApp, live with Facebook.
Like,
and they're showing off to other people, right? They're showing off to other people. And so you know, sometimes it's okay to share with people whom you love, like say, hey, Mother, this is where I am right now and you're doing it because, you know, you want to let them know and you want to motivate them and so forth. But be careful. There's some people that aren't they go out there, they go there, because they just want to show off. And we'll see them taking pictures left and right and so forth. And so also well, our office Rafa is if, you know, like any, anything that's related to marriage. So you stay away from, you know, marital relations. So you know, any haram, of course, the
end for soup is transgression. And,
of course, it's something that you hide from abroad is one when someone continues to do as much good deeds as they can, while they're doing it. And so this is the best deal that you can do in the first half of the year,
to make hij, or to make Hudbay, hij. And umbra. And because it's the only time then, because when you do that, you're able to do all of these deeds, right? So when you're making hij, can you fast the first 10 days? Yes, you can. You can fast day of alpha you don't fast but let's say before Highcharts
the virtues of fasting are also for those who are in Mecca. Like the waiting for the eighth of the ledger, they want to fast they can fast. In fact, there are some people who are unable to pay the Vidya the the Cancellara, they don't have the money. So I know some some Jamia students, university students, when they used to go they used to make a fraud because they didn't have a lot of money. So they made aamra many times already. So they would go in and they would make Hajj only a frog hide. Why would you want to make only hide?
Because they can't afford this lottery. Right? Because a lot of the money they have is like, you know, they used to have what was called the you know, the stipend McArthur and then they would get that and they would send it to their family member. So when they're making hij they can they don't have money in slaughter. And so sometimes they want to slaughter or they want to, but they don't they go to her back early. They have to be in the same era for a long time. They don't want that. So what they do is they they do tomato, they do Umrah, and then they wear regular clothing, but then they can't afford the slaughter. So what do you do if you can't afford to slaughter? What's your
other option?
Fasting fasting sub atom like
Ash, you fast for three days, right in hij were several simultaneous our job till Kashia tune Kameena so those are the fasting video. So sometimes they can't afford the slaughtering. So I know some of the brothers are used to ease to go make hygiene. They're like, yeah, making tomato but yeah, fast. I need to I need to get my three days in. You know, I need to get my three days and so in even for a pilgrim from who is in Mecca. They can fast also and fast. So then if they if you fast, and you of course you're praying in Masjid Al haram, you're also you know, you give in charity. And of course when you're slaughtering where does that meat go? I'll head it and he goes to
the people or is distributed to the people, the poor people, right people of Makkah people in surrounding areas for for them. So you give
So, so the the combination of all these deeds, and um, the best thing you can do is
quotes hygiene and fasting and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He said, for those who are not in height, cm Yama Arafa. the fasting of the Day of Arafah professing with a decibel Allah Allah you cathedra Senator Little cobbler. Well, Atiba. So hey, Muslim renumeration in Sahih. Muslim, is that the day the fasting of Arafah I
consider, I hope that Allah subhanho wa Taala will expiate the previous n, the following the previous year and the following year also. And so that's the first thing of the day, of course, the eighth or the ninth of the ledger, which is the day of our offer. And of course the prayers themselves also, you pray and you pray the more you pray soon as the better it is, and I think that we should also be doing is doing a lot of text here. I will Herrera Delano and Abdullah Ahmad, are the law and human. They used to go out into the marketplace I am an archer the first 10 days and they would say they would say to that fear to remind people so the to do that we are Allahu Akbar
Allahu Akbar. So this is known as
what is known as this is known as the tech sphere and
this is the general tech, Iraq's the general tech, the rocks start from the beginning of the year. And it's every day anytime you want to do it, you do it and then you have the tech the rocks specific, what is the specific that we are? That's what that is the day of that's then some, you know, that's done, you know, like the day of eat, and I am not actually right and the following days. So that's after every single prayer that you do so after every single prayer. And so, to increase in Detective Iraq, is something that is beloved to Allah subhanho wa Taala because he says my main aim, Allah and Allah he will our humble Isla de la mala fee hidden when Haile Laemmle Asha,
there aren't any days or more greater than more beloved to Allah, then these 10 days for x zero, the profits of x zero fee hidden. So increase in it at Lille with Mira Tammy, that leads Allah Allah Allah Allah tech, we're Allahu Akbar, and Tammy Alhamdulillah. So these are the things that we should do. And this is and this is
narrated by Imam Muhammad and his Muslim, and of course, giving sadaqa giving a charity. So these are the things that inshallah that you can do. And there are many other things that you can do, for example, the citation of the Quran, so far, being kind to your parents, and joining relations, giving salaams feeding the poor, if there's any problems that people you reconcile reconciliation between brothers that are in you know, brothers or are they have a grudge against each other, in joining good and forbidding evil, making sure you protect your tongue and protect your private part. Being good to your neighbors, taking care of your hosting your hope being good host when you if you
have guests, spending in the path of Allah cleaning the masjid, so cleaning the area, you know, cleaning just the road, anywhere because that's part of sadaqa also in the road, also
taking care of your family money you know, when you go to work and take care of a family. That's also sad, right? So it's okay go with going to work with the right intention, taking care of your family, taking care of the orphans, visiting those who are sick, helping others who are in need given Salawat upon the prophets of Allah lives I'm saying so Allahumma Salli ala Muhammad Ali Muhammad gamma saliva library, while I while they were having a heavy duty and of course, staying away from harming other Muslims
also
enjoying you know, enjoying relations and being good to your your parents, friends that your father has already passed away, you know, enjoying the relationship between you and and, and those who are close to or close to your parents. And of course making dua for your brothers and sisters right. making dua for other people for possessive do is accepted, fulfilling your promise fulfilling your trust and also
just taking care of and helping your aunts and uncles you know helping in visiting your aunts and uncles also has something that you can do and of course lowering your gaze don't look at anything that's haram when you're making will do make sure you make will do properly right when you make them do make sure you make wudu properly because making wudu properly is one of the exceptional acts of that we that will gain us a lot of great reward also also making dua between the Adana and the karma when the Adan is made. You're waiting for the karma, the prophets Allah loves at the DUA that time is accepted, so increase in it. And of course it is Juma recite Surah to cath and going to the
masjid making sure that you pray in the masjid making sure that you you know you invite others also to to come to the masjid and to come to you know like classes and lectures and talks. Those are one of the most beneficial acts during these days. And also making sure you pray your sunnah. sunnah robotic, praying at home and praying in the masjid.
Praying and of course, praying the prayer also of course as part of that and going to the Eid prayer and making this thicket after the prayers. Also making sure that your your that what you take in is Hala and you're putting happiness at other people you know like making your family happy friends and meaning you know like buying gifts for them. It's actually something that is is an act of worship also, if you want so there are so many things that we can do. And also taking care of those who report those who are needy helping them out
in joining good meaning you know when you see something something good try to invite invite other people to do good also
And then also clearing, forgiving others also that some people they forget about internal x, right x a good good deeds that are done internally, and teaching your children and your family and so forth. That's also another thing that's a good deed and helping others do good. And so there are so many things, right? So many things that you can do. You might think, what do I do? People are always asking, Who are you? What can I do? Like, there's so many things you can just think about anything that's pleasing to Allah, anything that's pleasing to Allah, just deal with them. And whenever you do
that son in it, you're gonna
let me try to be more focused on my prayer. So do more, do better, and be consistent, do it often shall do more, do better. And do it often. So these are the days, the best days of the year. And I just wanted to remind because you know what, because these these are like,
these are reminders that we don't get opportunities to do all the time, and it's specific for these days. So that's why sometimes when these days come, we do have like class that I wished for sort of sidetrack so that we can inshallah benefit. You take benefit from the end. So yeah, there are a lot of good things but make sure the best thing you can do is that which is also the zekiel that specifies which one
is will have dilemma that ultimately tells you at a certain time, that's the best thing you can do. And people say well, can I take it can I do? What he says for x zero min minutes daleel with tech we're
Allah Allah, Allah Allah.
Allahu Akbar, Al Hamdulillah.
Right? Those things, Allahu Akbar, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah Allah. That's it. This is the sealer that I'm doing now, Omar, Abdullah Massoud and others they used to say, and when they used to say sometimes they would say it out loud in the massages or in the marketplace to remind the people, right, why did they go out?
Why did they go out to the market? Place this guy in America who How do you know when it's the holidays?
When you go the supermarket and you hear Jingle Bells and you hear these wedding covers, you hear you hear the Christmas carols you hear the Christmas songs, right all the time, right? So what did the Companions used to do to remind people that these days are special? They used to go to the supermarket, or they'd have to they used to go to the marketplaces. But they used to go the markets in Medina. And they would remind people Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, and people in the marketplace with Allahu Akbar, Allah.
Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah.
Allah, Allah, Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allah and they will go and then right now everybody in the marketplace is making a big deal.
So if you're in a Muslim country, that's something that should be revived. To make it special the first time. These are special days, Allahu Allahu Akbar. And maybe if you go to like the Somali mark, something like the Muslims around you remind the brothers and brothers and sisters who are there that you go to like,
you go into like, South center Ma, people are gonna be looking at you. It's just, Allahu Akbar, Allah. They're like, Oh, no.
You make the here. Oh, the Muslims are here. They try to
write the you know, but in non Muslim country and Muslim country, you could do something like that. Yeah, you have all Muslims around you and make it special and it's something that we've left we've abandoned and that's why a lot of people the first 10 days come like normal especial and the thing is even Muslim countries you're not living in Mecca Medina pretend what there's nothing special. Ramadan Yes, eat before last 10 days and so we have but these 10 days are very special.
Very special. And so make a special also sit down with your kids also remind them of how special these days are. And so with Insha Allah we I just like to know when to take away the loot longer than usual. But hopefully inshallah we ask Allah Subhana Allah to benefit us Subhana for who we can be cashed out
