00:00:00 --> 00:00:17
			All praises do to allow is revealed the scripture unto His servant and there's been no crookedness
there in Alhamdulillah, Allah subhanho wa Taala has blessed us to live in interesting times, as they
say,

00:00:18 --> 00:00:26
			one of the characteristics of our time, speaking specifically of this land that we reside in,

00:00:27 --> 00:00:30
			is the despair that we see.

00:00:31 --> 00:00:42
			And that despair can be measured by what collectively are referred to as the diseases of despair,
drug addiction, alcoholism, suicide,

00:00:44 --> 00:00:45
			depression,

00:00:47 --> 00:01:15
			terms of drug addiction, just discarding other forms of drugs every day in this country. 170 fatal
overdoses from opioids alone heroin, morphine, Percocet and Oxycontin, the whole family of opioids
170. And word not for Narcan which revives

00:01:17 --> 00:01:22
			overdose victims, maybe it would be 800 a day.

00:01:24 --> 00:01:32
			Because everyone fatally overdoses, seven or eight are revived, who would otherwise federally
overdose

00:01:34 --> 00:01:39
			241 alcohol consumption related deaths every day in this country.

00:01:41 --> 00:01:42
			Just consumption

00:01:44 --> 00:01:54
			excluding alcohol related deaths, most fatal fatalities from auto accidents the majority of alcohol
related.

00:01:55 --> 00:02:32
			Most killings domestic violence are alcohol related, not maybe not most a large percentage. Most
alcohol, most traffic deaths, yes, but a large percentage, but excluding all of that 241 who died
from overconsumption of alcohol every day, 123 suicides every day, almost 4000 suicide attempts
every day, which means what the far more because a lot of suicide attempts are reported to the
authorities. That's what's reported.

00:02:33 --> 00:02:38
			increasingly large numbers of our children who should be the most hopeful,

00:02:40 --> 00:02:41
			find themselves

00:02:43 --> 00:02:45
			dead as a result of suicide.

00:02:48 --> 00:02:49
			diseases of despair.

00:02:51 --> 00:02:58
			Muslims you see Muslims increasingly falling into many of these categories,

00:02:59 --> 00:03:12
			which indicates what indicates two things, or one, one or two things are both one or the other, or
both. One is ignorance of our religion.

00:03:15 --> 00:03:30
			ignorance of the religion because one who has knowledge of this religion understands this is the
anti despair or the antidote to despair. The anti despair, medicine

00:03:33 --> 00:03:38
			or ignorance of the religion or weakness of faith

00:03:41 --> 00:03:55
			means there might be knowledge of the religion but that knowledge hasn't penetrated to the depths of
the heart so that it affects the hearts and ways that insulates the individual from the ravages of
despair.

00:03:56 --> 00:04:05
			We should understand understanding is is very important. There are a lot of the Messenger of Allah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:04:06 --> 00:04:18
			He says men you read the letter will be higher on you feckin who fit Deen? The one a law design is
good for he gives him or her a sound understanding of the religion

00:04:19 --> 00:04:59
			or the convention the balance of the Hadeeth because it has benefited so it's related on why we are
and why we are total De La Hoya and Han Kala Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when you read
the letter who be here higher on effect COVID de the one Allah desire is good for he gives him or
her a sound understanding of the religion. We're in them and a costume Allah azzawajal you are
clean, I dispense the revelation is the law gives understanding. So the Prophet gives it freely to
everyone but a law causes those seeds that he spreads out to take root in some hearts.

00:05:00 --> 00:05:21
			We'll enter zella tar effort when men head his material image and be angry lay, lay your men her
left arm, hotter Yeti and law. And there will always remain from this community of believers, a
party, a group who will establish their affair on the basis of the commandment of Allah.

00:05:22 --> 00:06:13
			And so what what the Messenger of Allah is telling us is that understanding translates into action.
And the foundation of our action is establishing our fear on the commandment of Allah. And as people
are rejecting their traditional religious teachings, as people increasingly turned to atheism, and
that's part and parcel of the crisis of despair, there's no coincidence that as atheism goes up,
suicide goes up. Because atheism is telling a human being that You're no different from this roster
monster this member I'm standing on, You're no different than these walls, You're no different than
a fly, you no different than feces or urine. You're just physical stuff.

00:06:15 --> 00:06:34
			If a human being comes in believe that he or she is just physical stuff, there is no relationship to
a higher power, there is nothing to hope for beyond the demise of this physical body. Why not commit
suicide? Why not ended off?

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37
			There's nothing beyond this to hope for.

00:06:39 --> 00:06:43
			That's one of the reasons you see this upward trajectory.

00:06:46 --> 00:06:55
			So the believers must hold on to the commandment of Allah, the believers must hold as lawful that
which our Lord,

00:06:56 --> 00:07:44
			through His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has declared to be lawful, and the believer must
maintain and hold on to what our Lord through His Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam directly
through revelation, which came through the prophet sallahu sallallahu wasallam, or through his
sooner have declared to be unlawful and null Hillel opinion, were in the Brahma Bian, were being a
human or more on wish to be had later layout of lejana Muna casiotone Menendez, the lawful is
unambiguously clear, and the unlawful is unambiguously clear. And between those two are doubtful
matters. Most people don't know their rulings. There are people who want to make that which is

00:07:44 --> 00:07:48
			unambiguously clear from the multi shabby hat.

00:07:49 --> 00:08:42
			And that which in terms of its lawfulness, and that which is unambiguously clear in terms of his
unlawfulness amongst the doubtful matters, well, we need to reassess this 1400 years of Islam and
scholarship from some of the most brilliant minds to ever walk this planet, couldn't figure out how
Muslims are supposed to dress 1400 years of scholarship with clear unambiguous evidence, scriptural
evidence, couldn't figure out who Muslims should go to bed width 40 we need to reassess No, we need
to adhere to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger and die upon that and pass it on to
our descendants. If we do that, we've done our job. And we fail to do that there are going to be

00:08:42 --> 00:08:50
			more suicides. There's going to be more alcoholism, there's going to be more drug overdoses because
people will be lost.

00:08:52 --> 00:08:55
			And the profits were set to guide people.

00:08:57 --> 00:09:01
			And this oma the scholars of this Omar, the heirs of the prophets

00:09:03 --> 00:09:53
			and their communities are the community of believers. In this world, volunteers will enter zela
effort on Manhattan multi car Emerton, the Emory lab, they will establish their fare on the
commandment of Allah lay your doodle home and holla for whom they will not be harmed by those who
will pose them hot yet to law until the command second Mr. Avalon some scholars say it's the
emergence of the debt jazz. Some scholar says the wind that will blow at the end of time and take
the souls of the believers most scholars say is the doomsday your mental piano. There won't be hard
so our task brothers and sisters if you want to be safe and you want to be sound, make sure you in

00:09:53 --> 00:10:00
			that group and Mr. hajus lolani he says it can be one group in one place but most

00:10:00 --> 00:10:11
			likely it is many groups. There's some here, there's some there. There's some in America, the
southern Africa, there's some in Asia, the southern Europe.

00:10:14 --> 00:10:26
			And this is a source of mercy not just for us, but for the world. As we said, the world, this
country and the world in general being besieged by despair, and hopelessness.

00:10:27 --> 00:10:29
			We are the people of hope.

00:10:30 --> 00:10:49
			Not foolish optimism, but the people of hope. Will the people are prophetic guidance and prophetic
glide guidance, believes clarity were the people of mercy. One of the reasons a lot of Muslims are
so downcast and gloom stuck

00:10:50 --> 00:10:59
			in our day and times, is because they believe the lies of people who profit from there being no
source of hope for people.

00:11:00 --> 00:11:03
			There are people that profit from that.

00:11:04 --> 00:11:08
			So you Muslims, you have no mercy and compassion in your heart.

00:11:09 --> 00:11:11
			Muslim, start believing that

00:11:13 --> 00:11:16
			you want to know no compassion, no compassion?

00:11:19 --> 00:11:20
			Are people

00:11:21 --> 00:11:37
			who would sell 9 million narcotic pills in a small town in Appalachia prescribe 9 million Knock hard
knowing this is going to addict the entire population who has the mercy in that?

00:11:39 --> 00:11:46
			And then the people are dropping like flies from overdoses? What is the mercy in that?

00:11:48 --> 00:12:00
			What is the mercy in fabricating enemies for the sole purpose of feeding a war machine that's
financed by $700 billion of our tax money

00:12:01 --> 00:12:18
			to keep the factories making bombs, and so inventing most inventing enemies, and many enemies in
this country to keep this machine of Islamic hate going? Their stealth Jihad? They're taking over
taking over what?

00:12:19 --> 00:12:27
			Well, we don't stop the start. Oh, yeah. You know, am I self jihadist? I don't know. You know, it's
in the air is

00:12:28 --> 00:12:29
			taking over what

00:12:31 --> 00:12:38
			are the the Muslim Brotherhood taking over Congress and the Senate and our institution where they're
doing a terrible job?

00:12:41 --> 00:12:58
			There are 535 congressmen and senators 100 senators, 435 representatives. There are zero Muslim
senators and one Muslim Congressman, zero out of 101 out of 435 and that stuff jihad.

00:13:02 --> 00:13:12
			There's a mercy of the scheme to demoralize the community to villainize and demonize the community
for the sole purpose of making money.

00:13:13 --> 00:13:17
			Because they're financed by 10s, hundreds of millions of dollars.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:19
			It's an industry

00:13:22 --> 00:14:01
			who is the mercy right now this hurricane the winds died down, but the rain is coming. And they have
open lagoons of pig manure and pig fetuses and pig but from these hog farms, next, African American
communities, poor people who can't go anywhere, and they're gonna flood over, even without flooding.
They're spraying in the air coats their houses, they can't read the air. People have respiratory
problems have to breathe that garbage. And the North Carolina legislator banned a bill that would
even declare this a harmful practice quiz. The mercy in that.

00:14:03 --> 00:14:22
			Court is the mercy in that you go up and down the ledger, there's no mercy. There's total
exploitation of people. They won't even give you a meal. You can fly on Ethiopian Airlines, one of
the poorest countries in the world. You can fly from Addis Ababa to Harvard, they give you a hot
meal.

00:14:24 --> 00:14:26
			hot towel to clean your hands with

00:14:27 --> 00:14:37
			for a two hour flight. You fly from New York City to Los Angeles five and a half hours. You look if
you get a bag of pretzels.

00:14:41 --> 00:14:45
			Then when you learn there are when you got on the plane.

00:14:47 --> 00:14:50
			The skycap, the company is gonna take their tips

00:14:52 --> 00:14:54
			what is the mercy and all that

00:14:55 --> 00:14:58
			and they'll tell you Muslim, you know merciful

00:15:00 --> 00:15:02
			And then you believe it

00:15:04 --> 00:15:06
			and get all demoralized.

00:15:09 --> 00:15:10
			Stand up.

00:15:11 --> 00:15:20
			Be proud to be a Muslim. Don't hang your head. Don't give those people the satisfaction of
demoralizing you.

00:15:22 --> 00:15:32
			feeds and killers hosts the people that the lady Beth Macy wrote a book about this whole opioid
epidemic recently.

00:15:33 --> 00:15:38
			And the subtitle the company that addicted America, Purdue pharma,

00:15:39 --> 00:15:44
			responsible for 10s of 1000s of dead Americans.

00:15:48 --> 00:15:57
			And no one went to jail, to misdemeanor to 10s of 1000s of dead people, millions of addicts

00:15:58 --> 00:16:01
			and to misdemeanor charges

00:16:03 --> 00:16:08
			for false advertisement, because they said this stuff is in abusive.

00:16:09 --> 00:16:13
			Like pure morphine. repackaged

00:16:14 --> 00:16:27
			is not abusive, 1% rate of abuse. And so when the abuse rate was almost 100% of were guilty
misdemeanor on two of their executives, no one goes to jail.

00:16:28 --> 00:16:42
			But all these little people, not selling heroin, selling marijuana on the street corner or going to
jail feeding this prison industrial complex was the mercy in that

00:16:44 --> 00:16:48
			and you demoralize belief in your your religion has no mercy.

00:16:51 --> 00:17:41
			De La Nina, URI belly alanine esto fu Island fusi him let's talk no to Mira Mattila in Nola. You're

repents, then Allah says, even if you are an idolatry, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Verily

00:17:41 --> 00:17:49
			Allah forgives all sins, Allah forgives the idolatry. Allah forgave the man who killed 100 people.

00:17:51 --> 00:17:52
			Allah forgives

00:17:54 --> 00:17:55

00:18:15 --> 00:18:19

Do you have to work to go to *?

00:18:48 --> 00:18:50
			If that's how things are record.

00:18:52 --> 00:19:17
			One sin is one against you. Even if you conspired to sin and then you leave it, then is credited as
a good deed. Leaving a bad deed is a good deed. You know, I'm going to do this in that. Mashallah. I
get home, get dressed makalah So, and I'm gonna go visit and we're going to go out and

00:19:18 --> 00:19:19

00:19:20 --> 00:19:25
			That's totally wrong. That's the good deed you left the bad deed is a good deed.

00:19:27 --> 00:19:52

00:19:53 --> 00:19:59
			Why do you have no hope? Why do you have no dis Why are you despairing of the Lord's mercy and if no

00:20:00 --> 00:20:14
			Are the odds and if this is the mercy of Allah, then it's rightfully said in the hula Yes, tomorrow
Hilah in the comun carefree room is only a disbelieving people that despair of the Lord's mercy. So
believers

00:20:16 --> 00:21:02
			never despair of a loss mercy. We should don't don't walk around here in a state of doom and gloom.
Lift up your head smile in the face of your your your your, your fellow believers smile in the face
of everybody the ordinary people. spread peace spread greetings of peace to people, feed people.
Y'all know Sula, ye al Islami about call and talk to the salon and took him on a tour Mr. Tom will
talk RS lm lm n RF the woman named Tara yeah messenger of Allah what is the best manifestation of
Islam most virtuous manifestation of Islam that you feed people in Greek people those you know and
those you don't know you know not

00:21:03 --> 00:21:07
			with our sister I don't know if the she started back

00:21:08 --> 00:21:36
			in the rainbow rec center is feeding people. That's one for 20 something years every Saturday so one
of the best manifestations of Islam put them on time and greet people in those you know, in those
you know, not should be a greeting machine. Everyone you pass salaam aleikum How you doing? Hello,
Shannon, Omar haben. What does that mean? That means Hey, you're welcome. You're like my family.
Really? No one ever said that to me.

00:21:37 --> 00:21:45
			We Muslims, that's how we roll. Pick your head up. This is a beautiful religion, don't despair.

00:21:46 --> 00:21:53
			It's not a believing characteristic is the correct characteristics. We said people who have no faith

00:21:54 --> 00:22:08
			in the hula yet asuma, rohilla in the McAfee room, those other people, unfortunately, falling into
drugs falling into despair, falling into suicide falling into alcoholism. We're the antidote.

00:22:09 --> 00:22:26
			We should be going to people. That's why they want to demoralize the Muslims. So we don't believe we
have anything to offer. Anybody who wants to listen to us. There are think we're a bunch of
terrorists, I'll tell you who wants to listen to you, those hundreds of people every day, who are
taking their Shahada,

00:22:28 --> 00:22:33
			who are taking their Shahada every day all over this country. They don't want to see that.

00:22:35 --> 00:22:41
			We have to organize ourselves to serve them and deserve those people aren't Muslim.

00:22:43 --> 00:22:52
			The sister feeding the people at the Red Bulls rainbow rec in East Oakland, most of those people are
Muslim, but they're human beings and their human needs.

00:22:53 --> 00:23:10
			And we should be rising up and organizing ourselves to meet their needs. And don't let them
politicize our religion. They want to politicize it. So they can frame the discussion and frame the
way that they present Islam to people.

00:23:12 --> 00:23:24
			No, we have to, we have to spiritualize it. It's not a political struggle. And we as Muslims, we do
a disservice when we frame it like that, because we're playing into their hands.

00:23:25 --> 00:23:27
			It's a spiritual struggle.

00:23:28 --> 00:23:55
			It's a struggle between truth and falsehood. It's a struggle between people who want to victimize
and exploit and destroy people. And people want to give them life, and to give them hope, and to
give them direction. That's the struggle. And we have to keep it at that level. Because that's our
strength. Everything else would take care of itself, the politics, the economics would take care of
themselves.

00:23:57 --> 00:24:12
			That will take care of itself. But if we become wrapped up into this political struggle, that's been
the parameters of which have been defined by the enemies of Islam, we'll never get to the spiritual

00:24:14 --> 00:24:25
			and the people will never get the hope, because in their mind, they're looking at Islam through a
frame that we as Muslims sometimes help to reinforce. We have to frame the issue

00:24:26 --> 00:24:36
			along the lines that play into our strength. And when you have one congressman and zero senators,
politics is not our strength.

00:24:37 --> 00:24:39
			hope you understand that.

00:24:40 --> 00:24:42
			You can hoop and holler all you want.

00:24:43 --> 00:25:00
			But when those are the odds, I'm not saying there's no politics in Islam, I am saying that our
struggle is a grassroots struggle. Our struggle is a struggle to save people. Our struggle is a
struggle to give people hope. I struggle

00:25:00 --> 00:25:24
			So to inspire people our struggle is a struggle to put people back in touch with their humanity. And
when that happens to 10s and hundreds of 1000s of people to millions of people, everything else will
take care of itself. May Allah give us tofik alone more Google call the head will stop for it rally
will sell me your common stock through war stuff.

00:25:44 --> 00:26:20
			Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa Salatu was Salam ala CD mursaleen se de Nova de novo kurata unit.

Allah will be rahmati here and in His mercy in this let them rejoice is better than anything they
can gather from this world.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:47
			We should be a joyous people.

00:26:49 --> 00:26:58
			Yeah, all this stuff is happening out there. slama phobia and all this other stuff is happening.
depression, suicide, we went through the whole gamut. In the first cook bar.

00:26:59 --> 00:27:01
			We still should be a joyous people.

00:27:03 --> 00:27:27
			Because we have faith in our heart. Because we have belief in the era. Because we know no matter how
bad things get in this world, if we patiently persevere, if we struggle, and we forge on, then we're
opening the gates for unimaginable bliss for the rest of eternity. Assad will ever dear, eternal
bliss.

00:27:29 --> 00:27:59
			And when we understand what eternity means, and we understand that everyone's life in this world
will end. Young or old, rich or poor, black or white, cooler enough Cinder acre to melt notes. Were

00:28:01 --> 00:28:03
			Everybody's going to die.
