Yasir Qadhi – The Battle of Uhud

Yasir Qadhi

The lecture delves on one of the biggest battle that took place after Badr – the Battle of Uhud.  Shaykh Yasir attempts to elucidate vividly on the battle.

The battle of Uhud was a war that was undertaken by the people of Mecca or the Quraysh to avenge Badr. the calamity and loss incurred by them ignited the battle of Uhud as a means of revenge. There were many reasons for this war which included religious, political, economic and social causes.

The Battle of Uhud took place in Shawwal, 3H. The Quraysh set out for Uhud on the 7th of Shawwal, 3 H and reached there in a meagre 7 days. The geography of the mountain of Uhud is explained which is that it is not just one mountain but a whole series of mountains stretching over a mile long situated in the north or northwest of Madinah. The Prophet ﷺ  has said “Uhud is a mountain of Jannah”.

Why did the Prophet ﷺ go to Uhud? What was the military genius behind this decision? Shaykh Yasir unfolds the answers and we will be truly mesmerised by the reasoning.

Eventually 700 muslims reached Uhud and they set up their camps.

The Battle of Uhud is an excellent illustration of the trust and Iman one should have in Allah. Indeed when we have Allah on our side we can accomplish anything. In spite of being under armoured and lack of enough animals and everything against them, the Muslims under the able leadership of Prophet ﷺ displayed impeccable valour, strength, trust and Iman in Allah and they were rewarded generously .

			Have you watched the whole luxury car wash Hello, Mohammed Abu who was

00:00:08 --> 00:00:08
			bad

00:00:09 --> 00:00:13
			insha Allah in this last lecture of the series we will discuss

00:00:14 --> 00:00:23
			one of the most decisive and important battles in the seal of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, a battle that would have grave repercussions

00:00:25 --> 00:00:36
			a battle in which the Muslims would learn many lessons, morals for themselves, and for the
generations after them, until our generation as well as

00:00:37 --> 00:00:39
			a battle that would go down in history.

00:00:41 --> 00:00:56
			Known as the Battle of offered after the mountain of offered outside of Medina. And this battle
occurred in the third year of the Prophet sigil of sulla, La Jolla, he was sent them three years
after he left Mecca. And for the first time, then we

00:00:57 --> 00:01:43
			thought it wise to form an offensive attack against the Muslims. Before this time they had not all
of them collectively come together to attack the Muslims. The Battle of whether, which was a long
story in and of itself, was not an intended assault against the Muslims. Rather, it occurred as a
series of small incidents before that, which led to the Battle of budget. But the Battle of offered
was meant to be a surprise attack the first direct offensive against the Muslims in Medina. And the
reasons that they initiated this battle were many, but four of them stand up above the rest. The
first reason was the religious animosity, the hatred that the Missouri cone had for Islam. And this

00:01:43 --> 00:01:52
			is the son of Allah subhanho wa Taala, that the prophet will always hate the Muslim, the Jews and
the Christians and the Hindus and every single non Muslim.

00:01:53 --> 00:02:04
			He might allow every other religious minority or any other religion and faith in society and
culture. But when it comes to Islam, because it is the religion of truth, he will find it inside of
him to hate it.

00:02:05 --> 00:02:17
			You cannot just be neutral when it comes to Islam. You're either a Muslim, or you're a castle that
hates Islam. So one of the primary factors that motivated the most rakuen

00:02:19 --> 00:03:01
			for the Battle of Orford was the religious animosity to the process of the law of war I think he
would send them and to the Muslims like Allah subhanho wa Taala says, associate and file verse 36.
When the vena cava who you call to Luna, she said, we discovered that those who disbelieve, they
fight on behalf of both or shape one, and Allah subhana wa tada says, In the levena, cafaro, you're
older and while homely sweet, do answer vilander those who disbelieve they spend their money in
order to stop people from the way of Allah, they are willing to give up their most prized possession
which is money, they are willing to part with it and donate, not expecting any reward from Allah.

00:03:01 --> 00:03:37
			not expecting any material benefit or gain in this life even, but solely out of a sheer hatred of
Islam. They don't want people to convert to Islam. They don't want people to come and worship Allah
subhana wa Tada. So they will give their money in order to stop people from coming to the way of
Allah subhanho wa Taala. So this was their first motive, religious animosity. Their second motive
was to gain some prestige after the loss that they had encountered at the Battle of butter. As you
know, the battle averted, they were defeated solely by the Muslims, even though the Muslims are in
the minority. They were defeated.

00:03:38 --> 00:04:06
			The coup de machico defeated at the hands of the Muslims. So the machico they felt this sense of
loss, we have to gain we have to make up for that loss. We have lost faith. Now it is our reputation
that is at stake here. And especially the leaders of the Quran, I was a fan. It reminded me, john,
so far in omiya, and others, those who had lost relatives, those who have lost close family members,
they would incite the courage. They would go to the people of Makkah, and say how can you sit here?

00:04:07 --> 00:04:15
			How can you sit you when you lost a brother or you lost a father or you lost your relative at the
Battle of others? How can you gain more money and send your caravans to Syria

00:04:16 --> 00:04:53
			and forget the losses that have inflicted you are further so they're arousing their passions,
arousing their desire for revenge, this was the second reason to gain faith to get back to prestige
that they have. The third reason were economic reasons. Because one of the journeys that the most
you're gonna have to take to Syria, it used to go close to Medina, and therefore some of the Muslims
would stop that route. Some of the Muslims would prevent them from coming there. So they had to
clear the way in order to continue their caravan trading and therefore increase more money from
Africa. As you know maca is in the middle of a barren land and had it not been for a loss, blessing

00:04:53 --> 00:04:59
			them with all of them and then the two journeys that they had, that she thought it was safe the
journey of the winter and the summer in which

00:05:00 --> 00:05:36
			used to gain money and caravans and goods from Yemen and from Syria, they would not have been able
to live in buried and dry land. So one of those journeys took them past Medina, and that was
problems for them. So they said, let us attack the Muslims in Medina, let's kill them, let's get rid
of them so that we can continue without any problems in our economic game. And the last reason was,
for political reasons, is that this was the first challenge to the corporation. The orange were the
undisputed leaders of Arabian, the most prestigious tribe, every other tribe looked up and respected
them, until the advent of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and the Muslims developing their

00:05:36 --> 00:06:00
			own stronghold in Medina. So then then became a challenge to the legitimacy, the authenticity of the
origin. Therefore, they had to destroy this challenge for its very roots. So therefore, they decided
on the seventh of show while in the third year of the Hydra, that they would set out on a surprise
attack and attack Medina and kill the Muslims there to read themselves once and for all of this
menace that had come to them.

00:06:01 --> 00:06:34
			They were able to muster 3000 men, which is a large amount for those times, especially for a long
journey from Mecca to Medina. And in order to provide encouragement for these men, they accompanied
with them, their wives and their children and their slaves. Because this is an encouragement, when
you know that your wife and children are behind you, you will put up a fight, unlike if you did not
have them behind you for more support. In other words, they were so confident they will be
victorious. We might as well bring our family along with us and bring our slaves and our money along
with us.

00:06:36 --> 00:06:55
			So they brought the wives and children out, and their seeds of war their horses, their camels, as
much strength as they could muster. 3000 strong and they thought that they would march secretly to
Medina, no one will inform the prophets of Allah I sent him and they would take him by complete
surprise. But Allah Subhana Allah, Allah had willed Otherwise,

00:06:57 --> 00:07:34
			the prophets uncle at dusk, even Adam Macaulay, according to many of the historians, he was, in fact
a Muslim at this time. Of course, he eventually became Muslim, there's no doubt about that. But at
this point in time, many of the historians claim he was secretly a Muslim hiding his Islam, that the
Prophet sallallahu wasallam had told him to stay in Makkah, and to inform him of any moves any
maneuvers of the operation. Once again, and we talked about this, two days ago, look at the military
genius of the prophecy. This is not something that you just pick up from nowhere. You either learn
it by training, or it is inspired you by

00:07:35 --> 00:07:56
			the prophets of sin and purposely left above as a spy. And of course, spying and these types of
things are allowed in a war. This is a war. So he had left a bus or have your loved one as a spy. So
as soon as the machine sent out, a bus even asked him about it immediately wrote a letter describing
as much detail as he could, the army of the machine, and he sent

00:07:57 --> 00:08:14
			a messenger to take this letter, and that messenger miraculously arrived in 3d from Mecca to Medina,
well as the journey usually took two to three weeks, but the messenger understood the severity of
what was going on. And day and night he traveled three days non stop

00:08:15 --> 00:08:25
			until he reached Medina, and he informed the prophets of the loveliness of what's what was going on.
As soon as the profitsystem received this letter, he immediately sent out other spies from Medina

00:08:26 --> 00:08:38
			go and see the details of the army where they camped. And when these spies came back, when these
envoys came back, then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, called a general meeting of the
Muslims.

00:08:40 --> 00:08:51
			he narrates the process of narration and authentic hadith and obviously narrate this after the
Battle of words, he says, I saw a dream in which I took my sword and I hit the enemy with this
sword, but my sword broke.

00:08:53 --> 00:09:10
			And I interpreted this to mean, the man he's interpreting after the bottle of water because he did
not tell us about his dream. At this point in time, I interpreted this to mean the defeat that was
suffered at the Muslims by the Muslims. at the Battle of of that I took my sword and it broke, this
was a sign that the Muslims would be defeated.

00:09:11 --> 00:09:47
			And then I took my short again and I hit it and it became as powerful as it used to be, and I
interpreted it that they would indeed become victorious. After this battle, once again, they would
regain their victory once again, they would gain the upper hand after this battle. And of course,
this narration, the prophet for the longest time told us to how that after the Battle of what,
however, he called for a gathering. And this shows you the importance of Shura understand the
importance of mutual consultation. It is a part of our Eman. It is a part of our the perfection of
our leaders, that they consult with the people of knowledge, they consult with the elders of the

00:09:47 --> 00:09:55
			community. So he called the General Assembly in the masjid and he informed them of the tactics of
the forage, and he asked them what their opinion was.

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59
			Many of the younger Sahaba who did not who

00:10:00 --> 00:10:12
			had not been able to participate in better due to their young age. They were eager for war, they
were eager for blood. So they said that is going to be like Howard's rather let us go out and meet
them on the battlefield. We will show them who we are.

00:10:13 --> 00:10:19
			But the Prophet sallallahu wasallam said, I feel it is better to stay in Medina, this is a fortress
for us.

00:10:20 --> 00:10:25
			They will be attacking us in our own fortress, it will be protection for us. So let us stay here.

00:10:26 --> 00:10:47
			But especially the younger Sahaba. They were adamant jasola We are not cowards, we will be able to
defeat them. They were eager for a taste of blood. Here we're eager for fighting. And this is the
way of the rash, ignorant youth, they do not find out, they just want commotion, they just want
fitness, they do not see the long term effects of what will happen.

00:10:50 --> 00:11:24
			So these youth, when they kept on talking, and of course, the oldest habit, especially the oldest
habit, it was not in their nature, to talk above the professor or to give any advice contrary to
what he said. So when the Prophet for the last time saw this enthusiasm, he said, this will be the
case. Okay? We will agree to this we will march on. And this shows you the prophets maturity as the
leader when the majority won something. And I'm not saying this is of course, democracy is not
democracy that it has full right to negate it and veto it if you want. However, when the majority of
the society wants something, and it is something that is valid, or something that is allowed, it is

00:11:24 --> 00:11:26
			wisdom in general, to listen to that majority.

00:11:27 --> 00:11:39
			So the prophets of the lovers didn't agree to that kind of there, and he went inside his house to
prepare himself for now they don't have time here now, they've decided a course of action, they have
to start marching, then once you put it outside of Medina,

00:11:41 --> 00:11:45
			so he put on his armor. In the meantime, the older Sahaba became angry at these embers.

00:11:47 --> 00:12:19
			And they said, How dare you give us an idea? How dare you give a plan? contrary to what the prophets
of the lesson have suggested? Do you not know that he is more knowledgeable than you is inspired by
Allah? How can you raise your voice or your opinion, above the opinion of the Prophet salallahu
alayhi wasallam. So these youngsters who have felt bad, and they sent one of them, either Osama or
one of the other younger companions into the prophets house, and they said, Tell him that we have
changed our mind. And we will indeed fight for Medina. But it was too late.

00:12:21 --> 00:13:03
			Because when the message reads the prophets of the love, I sent him he had already warned his armor.
And he said that it is not proper. It is not befitting for a prophet of Allah, that he wears his
armor, and then he takes it off without having fought the enemy. In other words, it is a sign of
weakness. It is a sign of infirmity, it is a sign of in decisiveness. Putting on the armor, putting
off the armor, I am now prepared for battle. And it is as soon as of Allah subhana wa tada that once
a prophet has worn his armor, once a prophet has become ready for jihad, for fighting, then he will
not take off his armor until until he has actually met the enemy. Look again at the amount of the

00:13:03 --> 00:13:39
			process of Allahu Allah He was seldom, even though rojava eventually agreed to what he wanted to do,
once the decision is made. And once the Prophet has warned his armor, it is not befitting he said it
is not proper, that the Prophet take it out any prophet of Allah take off his armor, without meeting
without any fighting the enemy. Therefore, the Sahaba prepared themselves and they went to the
mountain of offers. And if you go to Medina, you find that the mountain of Godhead is right at the
outskirts of the modern city of Medina. Of course, in those times, it was in fact, outside the city.
In our times, because the city has expanded, it is right at the outskirts, the house has a median

00:13:39 --> 00:14:07
			all the way go to the mountain. And the mountain of course, is not just one mountain standing in the
middle of nowhere. Rather, it is a range whole plane of mountains, very long, huge mountain. So the
prophets are the same secretly, he took a secret path or had not the general path. Rather, he went
in between the gardens, he went in between the people's property so that the moose record would not
hear when they wouldn't they would not get wind of his tactics. And once again, it shows you the
caution of the focus of the lesson and his military tactics.

00:14:08 --> 00:14:09
			Once he reached 100,

00:14:11 --> 00:14:19
			he looked at the situation around him. And he thought that the best thing to do was that at one
side, there was Medina, on the left hand side

00:14:20 --> 00:14:57
			and behind them was offered. So the army could not come except for one particular location. In other
words, the surprise attack could only be made in one direction from the army, because to one side
was referred to another side was Medina, there's only one more side left and then the side of
battle. And of course the side of battle there's no surprise because the enemy is in front of you.
But there was only one direction left slightly to the left of the army, where there could be a gap
if you like in the defense system, where the machico it was possible that they might be able to
maneuver and surprise attack from another direction as for the other two directions blocked one by

00:14:57 --> 00:14:59
			the city of Medina and the other by the mountain of effort.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:12
			itself. Once again, the military genius, the tactical expertise of a person who had never studied
warfare had never been through any training. But the way from Allah is the best training that can be
achieved by any messenger. And

00:15:14 --> 00:15:21
			so he then stationed there were around 1000 people in the Muslim army, and he stationed

00:15:22 --> 00:15:24
			around 50 of them.

00:15:25 --> 00:16:05
			On the small mount, if those of you that have visited or heard, you will see that there's a small
amount. Of course, in those days, it was probably two or three times as tall as that, and through
erosion. This mount or this mount has become small, it is called Mount dynein. Okay, he plays, he
plays the arches on that mount on that hill, because that hill overlook the one gap that was left
the one gap that the Michigan could possibly surprise the Muslims with. And he told them that he put
in charge of the mob go live in Japan. And he told them that your position is to be at this
mountain, it doesn't matter. Whatever happens if you see them, ripping us,

00:16:06 --> 00:16:43
			bone, by bone, and bit by bit, do not move from your place. If you see the birds eating our dead
bodies, do not move from your place, until I sent for you until you get my message that you are
allowed to leave from this mountain. Otherwise, you must remain here. And he said this very
explicitly. And the books are futile. Like I said, they give a number of expressions, until you see
the birds eat from our flesh do not move from this module. Because he realized that if anything were
to go wrong, this is the only place that it can go wrong from as for the Muslims, they are
protected, they have now a fortress between between Medina and they're facing the enemies, there's

00:16:43 --> 00:16:59
			only one direction left. So they cannot be taken by surprise from this one direction. Again,
understand the military genius here. So he informed him of this. However, the manassa own were not
satisfied. The hypocrites were not satisfied.

00:17:02 --> 00:17:36
			As for the hypocrites, they were scared, obviously a battle. So from the beginning, they had been
advising the Muslims, that it's better to stay at your houses. Of course, they didn't want to go to
the battlefield. They said Let us not go outside to meet the army let us remain in our houses. so
strangely, they agreed with the prophets Wilson's initial proposal, but the Nia for agreeing was
totally opposite. As for them, when after Kuhn, the reason they want to stay in Medina was because
they were a bunch of cowards. They were too scared to go out and meet the enemy. And as for the
process of the law, why'd you send them the reason he wanted to stay in Medina was out of bravery

00:17:36 --> 00:18:01
			out of defense, we have to protect ourselves here. So then we're not your own, outwardly agreed with
the progress of the levada center, but inwardly the reasons were absolutely opposed, of why they
were agreeing with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So when they reach this mountain, and the
Prophet started preparing the end of the Muslim line, and according to some books, he actually went
to every single person 1000 strong.

00:18:03 --> 00:18:11
			And he positioned them exactly in the place that he wanted, looking at their strengths, looking at
their weaknesses. As for you, I want you in this position as we want you in this position.

00:18:12 --> 00:18:15
			When the moon after horn saw this, you can imagine they're getting scared now.

00:18:16 --> 00:18:23
			They're going to actually have to face blood, they're going to have to face their enemy. So what do
they do? Like the cowards that they are?

00:18:25 --> 00:18:29
			They say, Oh, you people will not fight, then we should recall will never come to you.

00:18:31 --> 00:19:11
			We think it's better to go back home and have a peaceful night's sleep. Let us go back home and rest
for the night. We don't think that they will any would that there will be any battlefield. If there
were to be any battle, then of course, we would come and protect you. But we are sure that there
will be no battle here. And Abdullah it will be even salute the leader of them when after all, he
openly said to his followers that this man meaning Mohammed, this man has disobeyed me, disobeyed me
and what? In the initial plan now he's making it as if it's his plan has disobeyed me in staying in
Medina, and instead he has followed a bunch of rash youth. So why should I give up my life

00:19:13 --> 00:19:13
			because of this

00:19:15 --> 00:19:17
			nifa Look at his hypocrisy.

00:19:18 --> 00:19:30
			And then he convinces everyone else and this is the way that the cowards are they're not just going
to remain in their mistake, they want everyone to follow them in that mistake. So he convinces his
followers 300 when I feel

00:19:31 --> 00:19:35
			that it's best to go back to Medina and in the process

00:19:36 --> 00:19:59
			two armies or twos, excuse me two tribes, one of those and one of the first Raj, they were almost
about to leave with them when I formed but Allah subhana wa tada affirmed them, Allah subhanho wa
Taala gave them a month. So they were about to leave with the small group of the munafo that Allah
subhanaw taala saved them at the last minute and they stayed with the prophets of Allah He will send
them but still 300

00:20:00 --> 00:20:06
			Men out of the initial 1000 went back to Medina, thus leaving only 700 people in the army.

00:20:08 --> 00:20:14
			before the battle started, the process of the Lord was set him took out his sword. And he said, Who
will take this from me?

00:20:15 --> 00:20:31
			This is a moral encouragement again, look at the tactic of the prophet SAW Selim more encouragement.
He is raising uplifting the spirits of the army, who will take this sword from me. So every Sahaba
said, and Aristotle or any other sort of law, I will pick up every one thing I will take it.

00:20:32 --> 00:20:38
			Then he said, Who will take this word from me with the condition that he will give it its right.

00:20:39 --> 00:20:53
			He will give it its right. I'm not going to give it to anyone. The one I give it to what's fulfill
the condition that I will place when I give him this word. Now doesn't have all became quite what
was the right they didn't know. One of them. Abu Jana,

00:20:54 --> 00:21:11
			he asked, and what is it right here a sort of law. What do you want us to do with this sword and it
was a powerful, strong sword, a mighty sword. He said that you take it and you continue to strike
the enemy until it breaks or is bent you cannot use it anymore.

00:21:12 --> 00:21:14
			So I will do Janice and I will take a chance.

00:21:16 --> 00:21:38
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave it to Abu Jana showing you the intelligence of Abu
Jana showing you the bravery also, I would upload the agenda this companion and it is narrated that
Abu Jana once he got this word and the machete called were facing them. In other words, the army
could be seen from each other. He started walking in a very proud and arrogant way with his sword
between the Muslim army

00:21:39 --> 00:22:19
			and these type of images, they strike fear into anyone's heart if you can imagine the senior and the
prophets are sort of made a very beautiful statement. He said this type of walk this type of gate,
this type of walking arrogantly is hated by Allah, except at a time and place like this. At a time
and place like this, it is beloved to Allah. So to be arrogant, in general is very bad. But when
you're arrogant in front of your enemy, who is a tough and wishing you it becomes perfection, when
you show might and power at this point in time. It is not a deficiency rather it is a means of
protection. And there were small minor incidents that occurred before the battle. And then the

00:22:19 --> 00:22:29
			Prophet sallallahu wasallam gave the word for the Muslims to attack. And when the Muslims attacked
the attack with a machete with a fear city

00:22:30 --> 00:22:45
			that the machico had not anticipated. Even though they're almost four times the number, the Muslim
700 the machico 3000. But they could not bear up with the attack the onslaught of the Muslims.
Holiday mill worried

00:22:46 --> 00:23:02
			and remember holiday when he was a master tactician, even in the days of his shift in Jamia. And
that is why when he became a Muslim, the prophet system called him he gave him the title of faithful
love or the sword of Allah, cognitively what he tried to analyze the situation. And he saw the one
gap

00:23:03 --> 00:23:24
			in which they could attack the Muslim army from so he took up a group of people and he tried to
attack but the archers remember the archers that they're able to reach a distance that people in the
ground cannot reach the archer stops. And he tried again. And the archer stopped, and he tried a
third time and the archer Stockton so he realized he would not be able to penetrate from the one gap
that they could possibly penetrate from.

00:23:26 --> 00:23:32
			And Alvaro even as you know, it's one of the companions who happened to be at the Battle what I
didn't participate. He said when we fought them.

00:23:33 --> 00:24:12
			Eventually they turned and fled. The couch is the most frequent are they turned and fled. Until I
saw the women remember that there are women in the most frequent army until I saw the women had
lifted their garments. And that their shins the lower parts of the legs were exposed. And I could
see the hillside there. His hand is the ornaments that you put on the ankles, there's a bracelet
that you put on the ankle, in some cultures is still in existence, and the machine used to have it.
So even as it says that I saw the ladies of the machico that's how scared they were turned around,
lift their garments up and start climbing up the mountains to save themselves and I could see their

00:24:12 --> 00:24:21
			face or the lower the garment or the the bracelet that you put on the on the ankles until they tried
to run away from the Muslim, the Muslim army.

00:24:22 --> 00:24:38
			And this shows you that victory will be for those who have in mind without a doubt. This is the son
of Allah subhana wa tada even a small army, how many are the small armies that have overcome large
armies by the permission of Allah, if you have a man

00:24:39 --> 00:25:00
			Indian so common law firm has already been if Allah will help you, then there is no one that can
defeat you what will come but if he shows you military and disgrace, famines and linear sort of
human body who is there that can help you after him. Apparently if Allah is on your side, then what
enemy can overcome you know one. So one of the most

00:25:00 --> 00:25:22
			stems with courage with bravery, obeying the prophets of the love, I sent him each one station where
the prophet SAW said and told him, they won. And without a doubt the Battle of offered at this point
in time is a pure victory for the Muslims. But what happened? Allah subhanho wa Taala decided to
test the believers, he decided to

00:25:24 --> 00:25:35
			cause a, an incident to occur which will become a lesson, which will become later on morals for them
to learn from, to get to benefit from to gain, wisdom and experience from

00:25:37 --> 00:25:42
			when the 50 archers were stationed on the army on the top of the mountain, they saw

00:25:44 --> 00:25:49
			they saw the Muslims winning, and they saw the machico running away.

00:25:51 --> 00:25:52
			They said

00:25:53 --> 00:26:31
			there is the bat, there is a war booty to the gate, realized now what the army runs away. It leaves
behind a lot of stuff. It leaves behind horses, which are very expensive. It leaves behind camels.
Again, very expensive. It leaves behind swords, armor, and leaves behind slaves, women, children,
captives, and every one of these things is very expensive, very pleasing to the soul. So when the
moose record fled, the Muslims were in the forefront, they started picking up these items because
this is hard for them to do. This is the war booty. Allah subhanho wa Taala has allowed the Muslims
to take war booty, which was not allowed for the previous nations. The previous nations were not

00:26:31 --> 00:26:51
			allowed to take this war booty. As for the Muslims, Allah subhanho wa Taala knew that we were weaker
than them. So he allowed us to take them with the condition that we give one fifth to the Islamic
State one fifth of the war, but he goes to his family states and four fifths is distributed to the
people fighting in the army. So when the archers the 50, archers, they saw

00:26:52 --> 00:26:59
			that the Muslim was just picking up aneema after her NEMA a sword here, a piece of armor there.
Another voice here.

00:27:00 --> 00:27:08
			They said to the leader, Abdullah intervene. I was aneema we have to get this as well. The Muslims
have one. We have a share in this as well.

00:27:09 --> 00:27:12
			Abdullah said do not remember what the prophet system told you.

00:27:13 --> 00:27:33
			It looks like they have won the battlefield. The machico are running away. The Muslims are taking
the aneema What more do you want, but Abdullah bin Jabez said do not remember what the prophets have
said told you. Did he not command you not to leave this army even if they want or they lost until
the command came and the command will come be patient.

00:27:34 --> 00:27:40
			They said I believe in Jabez. They said our Ameen if we don't go they will get the money but they
will get this and we will not get it.

00:27:41 --> 00:27:46
			He said I cannot believe until I receive the command from the process of love while he was similar.

00:27:48 --> 00:27:53
			So they disobeyed him. They turned their backs on their leader Abdullah intubate.

00:27:54 --> 00:28:13
			Most of them, some narrations mentioned 40 out of the 50. They turned their backs upon their leader.
they disobeyed the explicit command of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And they fled. They
fled not from the enemy. But desiring this dunya desiring this world in order to take part in that
aneema as well.

00:28:15 --> 00:28:16
			Carla didn't

00:28:17 --> 00:28:28
			notice this. And he saw that the archers were now only five or 10 in number. So then which record
that were fleeing, he immediately captured them. He immediately gathered them under his banner. And
he said we will attack from here.

00:28:29 --> 00:29:11
			And there were only five or 10 archers, they were not able to defend that angle. They were not able
to stop the onslaught of one branch of the Muslim army. And in fact, all of them, including Abdullah
mediabase, died as he because of Hollywood's flank at that point. Now obviously, he was emotionally
Harley's nobody's been able to reach the mountain, climb it, climb up that mount and kill all of the
10 archers, so that the rest of the entire army could then go and attack from that direction. So
they attacked from a direction which the Muslims were not expecting. And in fact, they were not even
prepared. They were not even prepared for an onslaught, unarmed, busy gathering the dounia

00:29:12 --> 00:29:17
			busy picking up the last items, the items that the Michigan left

00:29:18 --> 00:29:23
			and all of a sudden, hardly anybody it attacks from behind them.

00:29:25 --> 00:29:55
			total confusion ensued, total confusion, they're not expecting an attack and not just that the
attack comes from a direction which they have no idea so the Muslims turn on one another and realize
that again in those days it is one on one combat it is not like the competent our times which many
of the tactician is called the coward is combat where you don't even see your enemy. No, it is one
on one. You are standing in front of him and you have to fight and you're not wearing special
uniforms, special badges, no, you all dressed in a similar manner. They're all from the same
culture.

00:29:56 --> 00:29:59
			So many of the Muslims killed other ones.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:00
			And accidentally

00:30:02 --> 00:30:29
			showing you the problems of disunity, the problems of disobedience. They turned around and they
killed their own their own fellow Muslims. And for the incredible human, the famous companion,
they're famous for hubby. He saw this was happening. And he saw them attack his own father among the
Muslims started attacking his own father, because there was total confusion and chaos. So he cried
out my father, a young man, my father as a man.

00:30:30 --> 00:30:32
			But because there was so much chaos,

00:30:33 --> 00:30:37
			Hollywood is attacking from one side and wish the corner surrounding from the behind.

00:30:39 --> 00:30:49
			The Sahaba did not even hear this. And they killed accidentally, the father of this every man, as a
man who became a Shaheed insha Allah at this battlefield.

00:30:52 --> 00:31:19
			Obviously, when this occurred, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and a group of companions
around him. There is no defense now, the Muslims are busy attacking one another and are defending
the black with the backflash. So the Prophet sallallahu wasallam immediately took a group of his
companions to leave the battlefield to assess what had occurred. This is not the time and place you
have to get out and see what is happening. There's total chaos as he is leaving the battlefield.

00:31:20 --> 00:31:48
			One of them was to console him and threw something at him. Some of them as they walk somewhere MSA
Javelin, Javelin something, he threw an instrument at the practice of law while he was tell them and
it came and it struck him right between the armor that he was wearing on his face, it came in
between the armor, such that the armor could not protect him, the full brunt pretty much hit his
face. And his instance broke, and the blood started pouring from his face. So the law while he was
selling,

00:31:49 --> 00:32:05
			he wiped the blood from his face, while the mazahub are running away to the group of Sahaba that are
protecting the profits of the center. And he said, How can a nation be successful after they have
done this to their profit and all the profit is doing is calling them to the worship of them?

00:32:06 --> 00:32:09
			How can they be successful? How can ALLAH forgive them? When they do this?

00:32:10 --> 00:32:34
			At this Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed in the Quran, lay select terminal Emery shaven The matter
is not yours. It is not your decision. Oh yeah to Bani him Oh, you are the bomb is Allah forgive
them or He punished them, it is not your decision. So in the home volume, what they have done
haunting, they have wronged you, but it is not your decision. Do not say that they cannot be
forgiven.

00:32:35 --> 00:32:37
			The matter is not yours to decide.

00:32:38 --> 00:33:12
			Look at the rubia look at the tawheed of Allah subhana wa Tada. These same people, many of them
caught it in the woods and included, accepted Islam, and became the greatest to have after this
incident. So the process of the long run of them is being reminded the matter is not yours to judge.
They select them in an empty sheet. You don't have anything to judge you. Oh yeah, too bad in
whether Allah accepts the repentance, or he punishes them. And Allah accepted repentance or some of
them, and He punished some of them. But at that point in time, but in the home for the moon, all of
them have done wrong to you.

00:33:13 --> 00:33:32
			In the meantime, one of the Sahaba attacked most domains, and most of the domains resembled the
process of the loved one he was selling. And we'll talk a little bit about him in a while, he
resembled the Prophet salallahu idea. So when he killed him, he thought that he had killed most of
the domains. So he said Patel to Mohammed and I have killed Mohammed.

00:33:36 --> 00:33:44
			The mushy Kuhn became overjoyed. And the news spread immediately all around the battlefield.
Mohammed has died, Mohammed has died.

00:33:46 --> 00:34:06
			The Sahaba became even more confused, confusion upon confusion. They were unprepared for the attack.
Once the attack ensued, they weren't prepared for the defense. They started attacking one another,
they lost sight of the profits of the law, they send them and now on top of that the rumors start
that the Prophet sallallahu wasallam has died. What are they to do?

00:34:07 --> 00:34:12
			A group of them went to the corner and just sat down, didn't know what to do now.

00:34:13 --> 00:34:33
			And as they've been another pass by, and he is the uncle of Malik Ernest emblematic, the famous
companion, the one who served the process of going on for 10 years. And as a medic, it was his
uncle. He said, Why are you sitting here? They said, Did you not hear? The prophet SAW the love? Why
do you see them has died? And it's an another shot

00:34:34 --> 00:34:38
			than he thought to himself. And he said, If Mohammed has died,

00:34:39 --> 00:34:42
			then surely the lord of Mohammed has not died.

00:34:43 --> 00:34:57
			If Mohammed has died, then verily the lord of Mohammed has not died. What will you do with life?
After the death of the process of a loved one, he will send them rather fight as he fought and die
as he died.

00:34:58 --> 00:34:59
			Of what point is life

00:35:00 --> 00:35:05
			If this is the case that my muscle tendon has died, what am I gonna do with my life? There is no
point to it.

00:35:07 --> 00:35:13
			I might as well die, like he died and fight IT fight. But he fought. So he took his sword.

00:35:14 --> 00:35:24
			And he went forward. And he passed by side even more is the last Sahabi that he would need in his
life. And he said to sad even more as Yeah, sad.

00:35:26 --> 00:35:28
			I can smell Jenna.

00:35:29 --> 00:35:30
			Beyond the mountain of

00:35:32 --> 00:35:35
			verily I can smell gender, beyond the mountain of of it.

00:35:36 --> 00:35:44
			And those were the last words that he said. And he fought them with recon, and he fought and he
fought until when he died.

00:35:45 --> 00:36:05
			There were 80 or 90 wounds inflicted upon him, between Spears, between javelins, between swords,
between arrows, between knives and daggers, that not a single companion could recognize this body.
Nobody recognized him who he was, until his sister came searching for his body.

00:36:06 --> 00:36:11
			And he recognized him. She recognized him, not by his face,

00:36:12 --> 00:36:23
			not by his chest or body, but by his fingertips, the tips of his fingers that were the only thing
that was remaining, that was identifiable, that yes, this is an activity.

00:36:26 --> 00:36:30
			In the meantime, the prophets of Allah who I sent him had taken a group of Sahaba and he had written
up

00:36:31 --> 00:36:34
			to a place in the mountains of authority, so that the army could not see him.

00:36:36 --> 00:36:53
			But he said, I feel that obey even kind of will come to me. This is without a doubt from the worry
of Allah subhanho wa Taala and obey even during the time of Mecca, he had come up to the Prophet
sallallahu I said, and have taunted him and ridiculed him and said, Oh, Mohammed, one day I will
kill you

00:36:54 --> 00:36:55
			at that the Prophet has responded

00:36:56 --> 00:36:59
			me rather I will kill you.

00:37:01 --> 00:37:18
			So at this point in offered the Prophet systems and I feel that will be it will come to me when he
does inform me In other words, you don't attack him, leave get talking to me. And indeed, we have
been kind of searching for Mohammed solace and searching for the Sahaba he came across that group.

00:37:20 --> 00:37:22
			When does the herbicide is there says Yara Sorolla.

00:37:24 --> 00:37:43
			Do you want us to attack him? He said, No. He stood up, he grabbed the sword from the company next
to him. And he attacked immediately over even color. And he tricked him literally, like a light.
flash of lightning immediately came out, he went through the arm and you put him in the neck.

00:37:44 --> 00:38:03
			And it was not a severe wound. But when open even had a self that went away, and Hannah felt that
would, which in and of itself, was without a doubt a miracle from Allah, like a flash of lightning
to come stand up and to Dart forward and go through the armor of obeyed and

00:38:04 --> 00:38:23
			he said catellani Mohammed Mohammed has killed me. Mohammed has killed me, he ran back to the army,
even though the wound was not so severe that he would die. Immediately, he ran back to the army of
the machine, he called and said Mohammed has killed me, Mohammed has killed me. They said where were
where he said here, look at this. They said you have gone crazy, this wound will kill you.

00:38:24 --> 00:38:36
			He said, Well, ah he if Mohammed inflicted this wound upon the entire side of us and 1000s and 1000s
of people, it would have been able to kill them. In other words, it was the miracle of a lot of work
here, the miracle of a lot of work here.

00:38:39 --> 00:39:13
			And some of the people married that they saw later on after a few days. They saw when a person was
traveling the desert, he saw this obey it and kind of inside the middle of a large fire. There was a
fire in a way that was inside of it. And he came out towards this man. And he said Water Water Give
me water. And then that man who was there, he saw an angel. What he didn't say was he said he saw
another figure with a whip or with some type of punish an equipment or torture. And he said do not
give him anything. Very This is the one who the Prophet himself killed.

00:39:15 --> 00:39:28
			And the prophets of the Larson and himself said that the worst people on Day of Judgment are those
who are killed by the prophets. So this person may have been Caliph was the one man whom the
prophets of the logarithm killed with his own hands in the battlefield.

00:39:31 --> 00:39:41
			They were only 10 people around the Prophet sallallahu it was send them nine of them from the
unsolved and one of them from the Mahajan. Father had been obeyed the law, one of the ashram
overshadow

00:39:42 --> 00:39:48
			every time a person would approach the Prophet system said who will defend him on our behalf and he
will have gender

00:39:49 --> 00:39:59
			standard up and the IRS will allow the processor to sit down and then the one of the unsolved would
stand up and he said I will defend so he would go and die as a Shaheed the second

00:40:00 --> 00:40:06
			person came. Once again the process of them asked the same thing who will defend us from our
enemies, and he will have gender been has stood up

00:40:08 --> 00:40:27
			and said, I will get a suit of law. The process also told him to sit down nine times, nine times
nine people came, and nine of the unsolved lost their lives every time the pockets will always send
them telephone had to sit down. Why? Because he knew the value of perhaps he knew the bravery, the
value of

00:40:28 --> 00:40:52
			that phone How is not equivalent to these nine others. And when all of the nine had died, and there
was no one left, and another man approached, the prophet SAW, I was going to ask the same question,
and only tell her was there so he stood up again. And so the process has allowed him to fight, and
he fought the fighting of the nine men combined before in one battle. All of the nine men they
fought they're fighting for equal all of them put together.

00:40:54 --> 00:40:59
			And as he was fighting, the swords of the machico, came and chopped off some fingers.

00:41:01 --> 00:41:01
			He said,

00:41:02 --> 00:41:09
			which is like Ouch. What the Arabs would say when there is a pain inflicted upon them. The Prophet
sallallahu Sallam told him, What

00:41:10 --> 00:41:23
			had you said, had you mentioned the name of Allah, this time? Had you mentioned the name of Allah at
this time, the melodica would have raised you on their shoulders, and the machine would see rising
up in the sky.

00:41:25 --> 00:41:46
			In other words, he had reached such a high level of Eman that if you only mentioned a last name, one
that's what came down instead of saying his which has no meaning to it. It's not a thing to mention
his pet had he remembered Allah. And he thought of Allah at this time. The prophets of Allah edited
him said that the angels would have taken you and raised you up in front of them, which you can do
with senior vice.

00:41:47 --> 00:41:50
			Many other stories of bravery in this battle will only mentioned some of them.

00:41:52 --> 00:41:53
			The story of Hamza

00:41:55 --> 00:42:17
			the story of Hamza without a doubt is one of the most noble stories of the theater of the prophets
of Allah while he was sending debate even more to him, who at that time was a mistake had lost an
uncle in the Battle of butter. He had lost his father's brother. So he had a slave by the name of
the joshy. And the Joshua was an Ethiopian who was experienced in Javelin spears.

00:42:18 --> 00:42:31
			He would not throw his spear, except that it would land where he wanted it to land. So debate even
motoring told his slave Natasha and of course, both of them at this time are mostly corn and look at
the mercy of Allah, both of them eventually begins to have

00:42:33 --> 00:42:43
			to be told his slave in the joshy. If you kill Hamza, the prophet uncle, as a replacement for my
uncle, who was killed in bedded, then I will for you.

00:42:45 --> 00:43:03
			And of course, the slave. This is for him, the greatest thing that can be done to be freed and
become a free man. So Natasha says I prepared for that day, I prepared for the day that there will
be a war and when it came, I was eager to participate in it. And he said, I had no interest in
fighting anyone, but I only wanted my freedom.

00:43:05 --> 00:43:15
			So when I went with my job when that I did not participate in the battle at all, rather, I would ask
where it comes up where it comes up, until someone pointed him out to me.

00:43:16 --> 00:43:17
			So I crouched

00:43:18 --> 00:43:40
			and judged himself narrates this authentically in an authentic narration how he killed Hamza. I
crouched in the bushes, I crouch that he could not see me. And I waited for a moment, which I can
throw the spear at him. And I threw it right at his back. Obviously, he's not facing the joshy. And
it came in from one side and out the other. Hamza turned to face me.

00:43:41 --> 00:43:51
			But the sphere had gone through his body, and he stumbled and staggered towards me, but fell down.
After that, I went and checked if he was dead or not, because I wanted to be freed.

00:43:53 --> 00:44:09
			And when I found that he was dead, I took my sphere and I went back and he says, well, life, I
didn't want to do anything with the battle, except that I wanted to free myself become a free man.
And when Hamza died when Hamza died as a Shaheed, hint, the wife of Abu sufian

00:44:10 --> 00:44:24
			found him and she cut off his nose. She opened up the stomach of Hamza took out the liver, chewed on
the liver of the dead body of Hamza, and spit it out in front of the body.

00:44:27 --> 00:44:46
			mutilation to show the enmity, the animosity that they have for Islam, and for the prophets of
Allah, Allah He will send them and when the Prophet sallallahu wasallam found the body of Hamza, he
cried, the likes of which he had not cried before, and also harbor saw this and they cried, and he
said, will lie if I am victorious over them.

00:44:48 --> 00:44:59
			I will mutilate them to Leica which there has never been seen before. And the Sahaba every one of
them said, if we are ever victorious over any of them in any battle, we will mutilate them.

00:45:00 --> 00:45:09
			Every single one of them but Allah subhana wa tada revealed in the whole army, what in our culture
for our people in our own capital? Well,

00:45:12 --> 00:45:32
			if you are given some type of wound, if you are harmed, then respond to the same degree. Don't go
more than that. But if you forgive, then this is better for those who are patient. So the prophets
of love, why do you send them diva commandment never to mutilate any dead body in the battle before.

00:45:33 --> 00:45:37
			It is not allowed in our city to mutilate a dead body.

00:45:38 --> 00:45:46
			Except the extreme extreme situations which we don't want to get into, but it is not allowed in
general, to mutilate a dead body, even if that be the body of a machete.

00:45:48 --> 00:45:55
			Another incident is the incident of was added in Romania, Ravi Allahu Thailand, most added in
Romania was one of the earliest

00:45:57 --> 00:46:26
			Muslims of Makkah, one of the youngest, he accepted Islam as a young teenager. And he was the apple
of his parents eyes, young, handsome, all of the youth will be jealous of him. Because he was rich,
his family was rich, and he was young, towering handsome man, he would wear the finest of clothes,
he would eat the best foods, there was no use like him in Makkah, that had as much money and as much
prestige, as much family honor as much background as he did.

00:46:28 --> 00:47:06
			The people would be jealous of him. But when he accepted Islam, he left all that and he migrated to
Medina, and in the Battle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam honored him by making him the
flagbearer, the one who will hold the flag of them and the frog bear even though it is an honorable
position, it is also a difficult position. Why? Because one hand is now taken up by the flight, and
you only have one more hand to fight independently. So most apt took that job briefly. And he held
on to the flag with his right hand. But in the Battle of like, obviously, it was harder than what he
attacked. They managed to reach Masada and remain one of them which you can raise his sword and he

00:47:06 --> 00:47:08
			chopped off the right hand side.

00:47:11 --> 00:47:17
			What did most have do? Did you fall to the floor crying like a baby? Did you start screaming and
shouting?

00:47:19 --> 00:47:26
			He took his left hand. He picked up this flat and he held it high again. He has nothing to defend
himself with no.

00:47:28 --> 00:47:31
			And of course, another person came at chopped off the left hand as well.

00:47:33 --> 00:47:34
			What does he do now?

00:47:35 --> 00:47:48
			He leans down to the ground. And with the two stubs that he has left, he gathers the flag and he
puts it next to his chest. Once again raising the flag of the Muslims.

00:47:49 --> 00:47:55
			And of course he is defenseless. So he dies the Shaheed with the flag still on him.

00:47:56 --> 00:48:03
			After the Battle of warheads, finishes the Sahaba find him both of his hands chopped off the flag
still there.

00:48:04 --> 00:48:06
			And when they come to bury him

00:48:09 --> 00:48:10
			he does not even have

00:48:11 --> 00:48:12
			enough clothes

00:48:13 --> 00:49:04
			to make a shroud. He cannot be wrapped once in one piece of cloth. He didn't have anything in his
positions. They said Yasuda What are we going to do? If we wrap him up from his head, his feet and
legs or beer? If we wrap him up from the legs, his chest and space are exposed? What are we to do?
So the purpose of the logarithm Christ and as the harbor cried also, because they remember this man.
They remember this youth, the one who used to wear a new garment every day. When he died, he didn't
even have one cloth that would cover his nakedness. One cloth that would cover his nakedness. So the
process of a logger I sent him said, wrap up the upper part of his body into cloth and put some some

00:49:04 --> 00:49:08
			leaves of a certain tree on his legs and feet and bury.

00:49:10 --> 00:49:16
			Yet another incident is that of humbler? The famous Wahhabi hamdulillah

00:49:17 --> 00:49:18
			when humbler

00:49:19 --> 00:49:39
			was fighting and Humberto was a mighty warrior. He saw Abu sufian and Abu sufian was on a horse and
humbled I did not have a horse, but that did not stop him. Realize now and unfortunately many of us,
including myself are not experienced or know this type of tactic. When a person is on a horse, he
has a great advantage over you. He can swoop down and kill you but you can do nothing to him.

00:49:40 --> 00:49:43
			The one who is on the horse is far more dangerous than the one who is on the ground.

00:49:44 --> 00:49:59
			When he saw was a fan on his horse of work, he marched forward and he took his sword and he chopped
this the horse's head off because he knew that the only way to get to I was a fan. Abu sufian fell
down on the ground and screamed out to the machine.

00:50:00 --> 00:50:19
			Want to help him and save him? As humble as took his sword to kill double Sophia, one of them wish
to contain and surprise him with a spear from behind him a spear in the back. He turned around and
he tried to hit the person behind him, but it was too late, and he fell to the ground is shaking.

00:50:20 --> 00:50:31
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam then said, I saw the angels take the route of hunger. I saw
the angel raise up the roof, the spirit of humbler but they were giving him

00:50:32 --> 00:50:36
			a bath with the waters of gender and the perfumes of gender.

00:50:37 --> 00:50:43
			something is amiss, why is he having a hosted when he dies as a should he go ask his wife, there
must be something.

00:50:44 --> 00:50:49
			They went to his wife, and she told him destroy that Humberto was newly married

00:50:50 --> 00:50:52
			and he wanted to spend time with his wife.

00:50:53 --> 00:51:03
			And he was on his wife, who was enjoying his wife when the cry came for jihad. So he left his wife
in the middle of that

00:51:04 --> 00:51:05
			without taking a shower.

00:51:07 --> 00:51:12
			Therefore when he died a Shaheed the angels give him a shower on his behalf.

00:51:13 --> 00:51:32
			Yes, yet another story that strikes the man. And it shows us our own low level of Eman is a story of
a woman whose name we don't even know. A woman who will forever remain anonymous. We don't even know
her name. All we that we know is that she was from the tribe of bunnies enough.

00:51:34 --> 00:51:40
			She had her father. And she had her brother. And she had her husband, all of them fighting in the
Battle of

00:51:42 --> 00:51:45
			her father died. The news came back to her.

00:51:46 --> 00:51:46
			What did she do?

00:51:49 --> 00:51:52
			She said tell me is the messenger so the last of them alive?

00:51:53 --> 00:51:59
			They said yes, he is alive. Her brother died. The news came back with the cheetah.

00:52:01 --> 00:52:03
			How is the messenger is your right is he fine?

00:52:05 --> 00:52:06
			Not even a second question.

00:52:08 --> 00:52:11
			Her husband died. And the news came back.

00:52:12 --> 00:52:18
			Once again, is the messenger All right. So the last one he has any harm been inflicted upon him.

00:52:19 --> 00:52:24
			They said, Indeed he is fine and healthy. She said let me see. I need to see them.

00:52:25 --> 00:52:37
			Her father has just died. Her brother has just died. Her husband has just died. But there is only
one love in her heart that is greater than the love of all of these. The love of her life.

00:52:38 --> 00:52:53
			So she had to be taken physically. They had to take her and they said there is Allahu Allahu wa
sallam there is the Prophet. And when she saw him, she said, verily, every single masiva after you
can be born,

00:52:54 --> 00:52:58
			I can take any more fever, any affliction, as long as you are still alive.

00:52:59 --> 00:53:05
			Many other battles, many other incidents that can be discussed in this battle.

00:53:07 --> 00:53:09
			But time restricts us to only these

00:53:10 --> 00:53:25
			many are the acts of bravery and courage that have been recorded in the history of Islam of the
battle that walk with you. And anyone that goes and reads up on this pedal can find dozens of
incidents of distinction. However, we have to move on

00:53:27 --> 00:53:44
			the process of a lot wider he was sending him was still hiding with some of the Sahaba and now we'll
look at an omelet have managed to find him and they were not protecting the Prophet sallallahu it
was send them an apostrophe on the leader of the number the Michigan at this time he cries out is
Mohammed still alive amongst you.

00:53:46 --> 00:53:53
			Or he starts off with with Omar Excuse me, is there still alive amongst you? The Prophet system says
remain quiet, do not respond to him.

00:53:54 --> 00:54:05
			Then he asks Is Abu Bakar alive amongst you? profitsystem says remain quiet do not respond to him.
Then he asked is Mohammed still alive amongst you? The process of

00:54:06 --> 00:54:20
			remain quiet. But Hohmann could not remain quiet now. I will look at an oma fine, but the Prophet
system No. He stood up and he said oh soufiane Verily, Allah has caused them to live so that they
can hit dishonor and humiliate you when the time would come.

00:54:22 --> 00:54:30
			So Sofia knew that they were still alive. So he said, Are you hoping huben our God has become mighty
now.

00:54:31 --> 00:54:40
			Now the Prophet systems that respond to this, look at the humility when it came to his own ego, you
don't have to respond. But when it comes to go, he'd respond back.

00:54:41 --> 00:54:45
			They said what do you respond to the sort of love? He said, Allahu

00:54:46 --> 00:54:54
			Allah is greater and more noble than human. So they responded back to them. I was up and said, Len
Elisa, what are

00:54:55 --> 00:55:00
			we have our idol and you have no reason. Once again, the profits of the

00:55:00 --> 00:55:04
			Last time said respond back to him ijebu. They said, how will we respond back?

00:55:05 --> 00:55:08
			The process or the law? Why do you say I'm said Allahumma Medina, when our

00:55:09 --> 00:55:12
			allies, our protector, and you have no projector with you.

00:55:14 --> 00:55:16
			So who Sofia then left the battlefield.

00:55:17 --> 00:55:27
			And the purpose of the law president came down, and he inspected the carnage, the dead, the Shahada,
and the tears came to his eyes, especially when he saw

00:55:28 --> 00:55:54
			and he said, Were it not for Sophia, Sophia was from the sister and his own aunt, were it not for
Sophia, and that the Muslims would later follow this soon after me, I would allow him this body to
remain here, and now allow his body to rot so that the dead that the wolves could take it bit by
bit, and the birds could eat from it. And on the Day of Judgment, Allah subhana wa tada would then
resurrect him from the stomach's of the animals,

00:55:56 --> 00:56:09
			and grant him a higher place in general. But Sophia would not allow me and this is not the religion
of Islam. Therefore, he ordered that those habits, bury those Shahada. And he said, I will testify
on their behalf for the day.

00:56:10 --> 00:56:16
			And he said very two or three in one grade, because they did not have the energy now to dig separate
grades for every single one of them.

00:56:18 --> 00:56:21
			And he said the one who has the more hold on between the two of them.

00:56:22 --> 00:56:39
			Make sure he goes into the grave before showing you that this is a great honor of the one who
carries the firearm. The one who has memorized more for us is in general have a higher status than
the one who has memorized this put on. So he said the one who has memorized more for us, put him in
the grave before and then put his companion after him.

00:56:41 --> 00:56:54
			Now the machines are obviously away from the battlefield. But the process of the law while the
incident does not know what will they do, will they come back and attack again? Or will they go back
to Mecca. So he tells it

00:56:57 --> 00:57:02
			to go and look at them, he sends an expedition with them. And this exhibition is called camera

00:57:03 --> 00:57:13
			camera assets. It is called camera method which is an expedition which occurred the next day after
the Battle of water and he commanded everybody to go in their tracks.

00:57:14 --> 00:57:16
			And he said look at them. If

00:57:18 --> 00:57:20
			they are riding their horses

00:57:21 --> 00:57:47
			and leaving their camels, then they are going to come back and attack us again. But if they are
riding the camels and have left the horses, then they are going back to Makkah once again military
genius. It is not something that the profits of the newest as it is. If they are riding the horses
and leaving the camels, that means that they are eager to come back and attack. And he is telling it
I've never thought of this.

00:57:48 --> 00:58:21
			And if they are riding the camels, this means that they're going to go back to Makkah so we don't
have to worry about so earlier and he also said no one will go with Ollie except someone who fought
yesterday. None of them without record will be allowed to go now. Only those that have been wounded
that are tired that have not rested. They are going to be the ones that go without even everybody
and Allah subhana wa tada revealed in the Quran and Latinas Tasha Buddha he would ever suit those
who responded to Allah and His Messenger men bad email Saba homall. After they were wounded, Lillian
asked

00:58:22 --> 00:58:30
			him, for those who did good and have suffered, they will have a great reward. They responded to
align His Messenger after they were wounded.

00:58:31 --> 00:58:43
			After they were tired, after they have lost relatives, yet the profits of them next day says March
and they stood up and they march, checking that the machine will not come back to attack them once
again.

00:58:44 --> 00:58:55
			This shows you the bravery and the man of the Sahaba their resolve and their strength. And it also
shows you the cowardice of the machine. They want to get away and run away from the battlefield.

00:58:57 --> 00:59:08
			The Prophet tallied his losses some of our students and they counted 70 of the Sahaba who had died
as Shaheed in this battle. As for them shikun they lost his number 22

00:59:10 --> 00:59:12
			they lost his number 22.

00:59:13 --> 00:59:14
			And this was the end of the battle.

00:59:16 --> 00:59:20
			But the question arises, was the Battle of both a loss or a victory?

00:59:21 --> 00:59:36
			Was it a loss or a victory? Without a doubt if you look at it, in terms of the number of people that
died, then yes, it was a loss for the Muslims because they lost 70 whereas the machico only lost 22.

00:59:39 --> 00:59:59
			But that is not the only way to judge victory. That is not the only way to judge victory. Let us
look at the goal of the machine acorn. Let us look at why they left Mecca in the first place. They
left maccha to annihilate to destroy to completely wipe out the Muslims and that is

01:00:00 --> 01:00:08
			Not at all. So they failed in their mission, they set out one thing to surprise the Muslims. But
they do that too. They were unsuccessful.

01:00:10 --> 01:00:22
			They set out trying to gain the prestige amongst the other tribes. But that too, did not occur,
because the Muslims were the victories in the beginning. And that was something that the machines
could not boast or claim victory.

01:00:23 --> 01:00:24
			Another way to look at it

01:00:25 --> 01:00:59
			is that, in the end of the battlefield, it was the machico, who fled from the place of the battle,
and it was the Muslims who remained behind. And this too, is a sign of victory, the one who flees
the battle, in the end is the loser. And the one who remains behind is the victor. And this is what
occurred. As for the machine code, they had to leave their debt, they have to run away and speak and
ask for the process of the loved one you send them, they stayed calm, they stayed there, and he dug
trenches, they dug graves, for the people who died and they buried things and

01:01:00 --> 01:01:04
			also the fact that the Prophet telefilms sent out an expedition once again

01:01:07 --> 01:01:33
			in track of the machete following the machico, once again showing who has the upper hand here. And
yet another food is the ayah in the Quran. Water for the sada como la vida who is a tsunami is that
Allah subhana wa tada fulfilled his promise to you when you fought him with his permission. In other
words, in the beginning, you were winning, Hector is efficient. But when you lost heart within as
active and you're different amongst yourselves.

01:01:35 --> 01:01:41
			What I'll say to you just obeyed the embodiment or Akuma to a bone, when you saw that which you
love.

01:01:42 --> 01:01:50
			When you saw the dounia when you saw the booty, you disobeyed the process of the law, why did you
send them minko may read it.

01:01:51 --> 01:01:56
			Some of you want this woman coming up to and some of you want

01:01:57 --> 01:02:06
			Sony Masako man whom the editor and Indeed Allah caused them to go away from you. So that he may
test you once again. What up

01:02:08 --> 01:02:15
			and he has indeed forgiven you for loving to me, and Allah is indeed of great bounty of generosity
towards

01:02:17 --> 01:02:44
			this ayah shows you that Allah subhana wa tada averted the mistakes from the minute. It shows you
that he forgave the Muslims for what they have done, and it shows you that he showed his favor upon
the Muslims, they're showing you once again, that it was indeed a victory for the Muslims. However,
it can be said and this is a correct opinion that the Battle of word was a loss from one perspective
and a victory from yet another perspective.

01:02:45 --> 01:03:23
			It depends on which perspective you look at the battle, it cannot be a clear cut victory for either
side, unlike the Battle of budget, clear cut victory from every single perspective, but the Battle
of it is not so clear. It is a loss from one perspective and it is a victory from yet another
perspective. Let us now analyze some of the benefits that we can gain from the Battle of only some
of them and there are many that can be gained. Firstly, the importance of planning, the importance
of planning, something like the profit for the long term did when he stationed the army, when he
told every person to stand where he stood. And this shows you that when a person is giving Dawa, or

01:03:23 --> 01:03:32
			when a person is in jihad, it cannot be chaotic. There must be some type of grouping, there must be
some type of planning and preparation ahead as well.

01:03:33 --> 01:04:14
			Another benefit is the profit gathering of information is fine. You are aware of your enemy, you
know his tactics, you know what he's about to do, and so to the die, so to the majority, he prepares
himself with knowledge of his enemy. He knows what his enemy is doing. He knows where his weaknesses
and strengths are, like the process of a lot of items in the Jihad and in the tower. He is not
ignorant of the status of the people he is calling for fighting. Yet Another benefit is the benefit
of Shula mutual consultation. Without a doubt the Amir must be obeyed, but of the wisdom of the Emir
of the leader is that he has assured and he takes and when the shooter says something, it is

01:04:14 --> 01:04:32
			preferable and encouraged, but not obligatory, that he opens actually. Yet Another benefit is the
importance of obeying the abuse. And when the Muslims obeyed the prophets of the law, who it was
sent them, they were victorious. While they were obeying Him, they were victorious.

01:04:34 --> 01:04:45
			And we know that this is a part of our our feeder, about as soon as Mr. That the leaders are obeyed,
even if they are faster. Even if they are evil, they must be obeyed for the greater benefit of the
oma.

01:04:46 --> 01:04:59
			As for his evil, it will be for him. If the leader is evil, if he is a drunkard, if he is committing
Zina, if he is eating interest, if he is doing haram acts, but he is judging by the love of Allah
subhanho wa Taala then it is abolished.

01:05:00 --> 01:05:09
			Dettori to obey that leader, because there is a greater benefit to be gained, there is a greater
goal that is to be achieved, and that is unity of the Muslims.

01:05:10 --> 01:05:15
			Therefore, it is a part of our appeal to our belief that it is not allowed to disobey the Muslim
rule. The

01:05:16 --> 01:05:19
			Another benefit of the Battle of our friends, is that

01:05:21 --> 01:05:36
			the scholars and the leaders and the diaries and the Mujahideen, they have to place the benefit of
the oma over personal benefits. They have to place the goals of their own mind over their own goals.
They have to sacrifice their own egos

01:05:38 --> 01:05:39
			their own game,

01:05:40 --> 01:05:47
			in order to achieve the game for the most important, here are the people that were the archers. By
leaving

01:05:48 --> 01:05:53
			the amount of money, they sought to achieve some personal gain, some pocket money.

01:05:55 --> 01:05:57
			And in this, they forgot the gain of the Muslim.

01:05:59 --> 01:06:05
			They forgot the glory of the Muslim woman. So they put their own desires above the desire of the
Muslims.

01:06:07 --> 01:06:22
			This too, is a lesson to be learned from the Battle of war, that the intelligent die. He puts His
own ego aside, he puts his own personality aside, in order to have the greater goal of the religion
and the glory of Islam.

01:06:24 --> 01:06:35
			This also shows you the importance of obedience to the Prophet sallallahu I think he was sending
them in particular. And this is without a doubt one of the main lessons that we learn from the
Battle of

01:06:36 --> 01:06:44
			defeat comes when we disobey the prophets of humiliation comes when we turn away from the prophets.
The enemy will be victorious.

01:06:45 --> 01:07:25
			When we do not practice what the prophets of Allah told us to do. This is how the enemy gains
victory over us. Not because of small numbers, not because of a lack of preparation of arms, not
because we don't have enough horses or power. But because we don't have enough spiritual strength,
because we don't implement the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa ascended, this is clearly
referenced in the Koran concerning the Battle of words, and realize that most of early and beyond
was revealed because of the Battle of many of the is were directly revealed. Because at the Battle
of Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Well, I'll say to invite him out of a boon, you disobeyed him.

01:07:26 --> 01:08:01
			You just obeyed the Prophet salallahu idea he was set up after you saw that what you loved. The
reason you disobeyed the prophets of the law while he was tell them is that you prefer the dunya
over the Acura min command, you need the dunya woman coming up to some of you when this done? Yes.
And some of you want the opera, it is too difficult to obey the process of the law. Why do you send
them, I'd rather have my money, I'd rather have my house, I'd rather have my status, I'd rather have
my prestige. I can't follow this sooner, it's too difficult. I want the dounia over the

01:08:02 --> 01:08:05
			men coming up to me.

01:08:07 --> 01:08:21
			This is the reason for your loss. This is the reason that the enemy were victorious over you that
you preferred the dunya over the idea that you could not follow the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu
it.

01:08:23 --> 01:08:24
			We also see in this battle,

01:08:26 --> 01:08:27
			how to correct mistakes,

01:08:29 --> 01:08:33
			how to correct mistakes. There were many of the archers that survived.

01:08:34 --> 01:08:36
			But what did the prophets of Allah do to them?

01:08:38 --> 01:08:39
			Absolutely nothing

01:08:41 --> 01:08:55
			less than Why? Because they had learned from their mistakes, they had realized the error that they
had committed. And Allah Subhana Allah himself says in verse 152, of either one or the other, and
rarely Allah has forgiven you.

01:08:57 --> 01:09:11
			So when Allah himself told the prophets of the law, and instead of that they are forgiven, she did
not even say anything to you, not even, not even a word of repute, and they left they they remained
the rest of their lives as normal. So have a

01:09:13 --> 01:09:29
			look at the nobility of the prophets of Allah. And for teaching these people and letting the
incident pass. And this is referred to in the Quran. When Allah Subhana Allah says habima Ross met
him in a law he didn't tell him were it not for the mercy of Allah that is why you are

01:09:30 --> 01:09:31
			kind towards them.

01:09:32 --> 01:09:44
			What Oh, couldn't have found a lever. Had you been crude, arrogant, have a hard heart towards the
Sahaba then what do you mean how they, they would have left you for Anton, forgive them.

01:09:46 --> 01:09:47
			Forgive them,

01:09:48 --> 01:09:52
			be merciful towards them. Be soft towards them. Don't be harsh towards them.

01:09:54 --> 01:09:59
			Yes upon Allah, the prophet of Allah is being told to be gentle to these people.

01:10:00 --> 01:10:17
			That caused this. Imagine how much more right Do we have to be gentle to our fellow Muslims? Why is
it our brothers that we see so much harshness around us? Why is it that we see so much hatred to our
fellow Muslims? Why is it that we hate the ones who is calling to Allah and His messenger?

01:10:18 --> 01:10:25
			And yet the prophets of Allah who it was send them is being told to forgive and forget the people
who caused the loss at the Battle level.

01:10:28 --> 01:10:56
			Do not our brothers in Islam, even on the supposition on the theory that they might have committed
some mistakes, but they are calling to Allah, Quran to the Messenger of Allah, calling to the pure
worship of Allah, even if they have made mistakes? Do they not deserve sympathy and respect? You do
not deserve mercy, instead of harshness, if these people can be forgiven, then how about the two
hearts that are calling to the pure worship of Allah is devoted to

01:10:58 --> 01:11:01
			yet another blessing and benefit from the Battle of Opus

01:11:02 --> 01:11:39
			is that we see the man of the Sahaba when Allah subhana wa Taala says, his hammer for eternity men
come and serve shala when two parties amongst you were about to leave in other words that are not
your own. Remember, they were not your own. They were about to cause two tribes, the tribe of
Bernhard Issa, and the tribe of Selma. These two tribes we're about to obey them in Africa. But
Allah subhana wa tada caused them to remain firm in their email. So Allah says, Is hammer Pfeiffer
down in increments of Shanna to parties amongst you. Were about to go away, while law whether you
will not but Allah was their protector.

01:11:40 --> 01:11:41
			Allah was their protector.

01:11:43 --> 01:11:49
			In other words, they did not go away. Imagine the battle how defend the brother sentiment, after
these verses were revealed.

01:11:50 --> 01:11:56
			should they not be embarrassed Allah has talked about them in the Quran? Should they not be
humiliated in a way

01:11:57 --> 01:12:08
			that no, the Sahaba said that they were so happy that this verse was revealed. They were overjoyed.
Their face is shined with joy. Why?

01:12:09 --> 01:12:13
			Because Allah said will love whether you and Allah is their protector.

01:12:16 --> 01:12:54
			The fact that Allah praise them in this manner, even though he mentioned they were about to go by
the wind off the horn, but he then says what love what Allah is the Protector. They said the Sahaba
said they would not have given anything in the world that desires not be revealed. They would have
given everything for the revelation of desire, because they were so happy. They knew that they will
weaken Eman, but the fact Allah says will love Will you hoonah Allah is their protector, that was
enough of a reason for them, that these verses be revealed. They became proud of the revelation of
these verses, even though Allah says they were about to follow them when I look at the month they

01:12:54 --> 01:12:57
			had in Allah, that Allah is our protector, we don't care about anything.

01:12:58 --> 01:13:29
			Yet another benefits of the incident of offered is the importance of unity amongst the Muslims. The
importance of unity amongst the Muslims. Look at what happened at the dis unification, the Muslims
fighting each other, the Muslims killing innocent Muslims, because of this disunity, and Allah
subhana wa tada says, Well, I cannot do not differ amongst yourself. You will lose spirit, you will
lose hearts, whatever your emotions, your power will be gone.

01:13:31 --> 01:13:52
			Do not just unify amongst yourselves. Did not just unite. Allah subhana wa tada also says while at
the Gurukul readiness for Roku, do not be like those meaning to choose who split into groups before
you what are the cool local area for home telephone, and they differ amongst themselves. nim
diadema, Jehovah Jeanette astronautics came to them.

01:13:53 --> 01:14:29
			openness in Islam, those of us that have knowledge, those of us that know Islam, that are practicing
so Heath that are calling to the way of the pious predecessors, why have we differed so much amongst
ourselves? The enemy is attacking us, this is not the way to solve our problems. And I am not saying
that let us ignore all of the differences amongst the Muslims. Let us join hands with the raffia
blocks and the Braille D and the Shia, I am not saying that, no, we must be aware of these
differences. But every difference is dealt with according to the evil that it is.

01:14:31 --> 01:14:51
			The evil of the here and the receiver is not like the evil of many other groups and the mistakes of
one who is calling to Allah and His messenger who is calling to tow he who is believing the smell of
the past. He is called into the worship of Allah based upon the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah and
the understanding of the early generations.

01:14:53 --> 01:14:59
			Without a doubt if he falls into a mistake, it is not like the mistake of the author or the Shia or

01:15:00 --> 01:15:01
			The other deviated groups

01:15:02 --> 01:15:05
			or too hot or callers to Islam.

01:15:06 --> 01:15:09
			Do these is not bring some emotions to your heart

01:15:11 --> 01:15:18
			did not cause you to ponder over this phenomenon of Islam in them and what we know now

01:15:19 --> 01:15:41
			than what we know minority or brothers. Where is this concept of a homerun now? Why is it that we
are so disunited in our communities? Why is it that our own brethren attack us and slander us and
try to cause this unity amongst us? Where is the man? Where is the taqwa? Do you really seek to come
close to Allah through these tactics?

01:15:44 --> 01:15:46
			Well, the the believers are brothers.

01:15:48 --> 01:16:23
			And we are not saying like I said, that we should ignore the differences that exist amongst the
Muslim groups. But every difference is a certain level of evil to it. every mistake, some of the
mistakes might lead to a level of comfort, like the Shia and zarafa. And some of the mistakes might
be much less than this. So we talk about these mistakes to the level of the evil in which they occur
in Allah subhanho wa Taala says, in the heart, he matricom this is your, your nation on mutton
wahida one Omar, he doesn't say 50 groups 100 groups, he says oh man why'd Why?

01:16:24 --> 01:16:41
			Then why are we making it 20 Why are we making it 50 this is one oma all Muslims, when they first
come knocking on your doors, they will not ask your app either they will not ask your men Hajj, they
will see that you are a Muslim and they will kill you.

01:16:42 --> 01:16:47
			This is what happened in Bosnia. This is what is happening in Kashmir. This is what happening around
the world.

01:16:48 --> 01:17:08
			There is a time and a place to correct the mistakes amongst the Muslims, there is a level there is a
methodology. I am not saying ignore it and throw it out the window. Yes, it must be corrected when a
Muslim is on a deviant could be when he is not believing in Allah or the Day of Judgment the way
that he should, we must correct him. But in the end of the day, he is our Muslim brother against the
enemy.

01:17:09 --> 01:17:16
			Despite his mistakes, if he believed in La ilaha illAllah, Muhammad Rasool Allah, he has a certain
love and a certain right upon us.

01:17:18 --> 01:17:21
			Why is it that the brethren that we have today?

01:17:23 --> 01:17:47
			They show love and compassion towards the kuffaar? Because they ignore them? The incidence of
bostian Krishna, you're not even allowed to talk about the Jihad going on in various countries, it
becomes a bigger to mention the plight of the Muslims there. So you show mercy towards the kuffar
who are * your women and killing your children, but towards your own Brethren, your own
colleagues to Islam,

01:17:48 --> 01:17:58
			you show the utmost hatred, you show the utmost venom. What type of Islam Are you preaching? What
type of Eman you have all Muslims.

01:18:00 --> 01:18:07
			If we have fallen into some mistakes your Muslim Brothers correct Allah subhana wa tada says,
describing the Sahaba

01:18:09 --> 01:18:14
			that they are strict with the Cofer in blessing others Catherine, as indicating

01:18:16 --> 01:18:22
			there are strict and mighty and arrogant with a co founder and humble and soft and gentle with the
Muslims.

01:18:24 --> 01:18:31
			How can you reverse this role, and be gentle and softer, fundamentally cool, and be strict and harsh
with your Muslim brothers.

01:18:33 --> 01:18:40
			Yet another benefit that we can combine or gain from the Battle of horses. And with this we will
conclude because we are going to be on a time limit

01:18:41 --> 01:18:54
			is in reality, the fundamental problem that exists in our times the fundamental problem that caused
the loss of the bottle of water, if you want to look at it from the perspective of loss,

01:18:56 --> 01:18:57
			is the love of dystonia.

01:18:58 --> 01:19:00
			The love of this world

01:19:01 --> 01:19:02
			income and you need to do

01:19:04 --> 01:19:14
			this it was revealed because of the Battle of offered. Some of you want the dunya and some of you
want the oxycodone because these people wanted the junior

01:19:15 --> 01:19:20
			this incident occurred and Allah forgives them so we only speak good about but because of this

01:19:21 --> 01:19:32
			the Battle of Orford concluded the way that it is concluded. This is the fundamental disease that
exists in my heart and your heart. This is the fundamental disease that is afflicting the Muslim
ummah.

01:19:33 --> 01:19:36
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

01:19:38 --> 01:19:39
			that a time will come

01:19:40 --> 01:19:58
			when you will be numerous in quantity. Yet the Cofer will overcome you. You will be without anger
without pain. You will be like the junk that floats on the water of the ocean, numerous in quantity
but have no value. When will this happen, that your enemy will be able to defeat you

01:25:08 --> 01:25:11
			There's a mistake pointed out briefly

01:25:13 --> 01:25:14
			how much time do you have for question?

01:25:17 --> 01:25:26
			There's a mistake pointed out that I said that the slaves name was nasty. Of course that is a
mistake. His name was washy. Of course, that was a mistake for my part. Luckily for correcting that.

01:25:34 --> 01:26:09
			Yes, we're going to one of the brothers asked that Humberto was killed by his own father, who was a
person who was respected by the people of Medina. But he became jealous and sided with him. He
Konya, some of the books of history mentioned that hamdulillah was actually killed by his own
father, showing you the animosity and the hatred that they had for Islam. Again, obviously, we have
summarized the vulnerable, but there are many incidents and details that have been left out. The
point is what is before moving on, I would like to point out that it is very, very amazing. And I
speak about myself as well, that we spend hours and hours reading, trash, reading the daily

01:26:09 --> 01:26:45
			newspaper, reading novels, literature, romance fiction, reading the gossips. And yet we spent so
little time reading the seal of the prophets of Allah who sent them. One of the best ways to
increase our Eman. One of the best ways to learn about our religion, one of the best ways to come
closer to Allah is to study the seal of the prophets of Allah, Allah, he was telling them, virtually
every one of us here, every one of us should take a book of the Syrah and go through it cover to
cover, read it cover to cover at least one book, at least a basic book, go over it and try to
benefit from the seat of the profits of the Lord.

01:26:49 --> 01:26:52
			Is it true that in terms of the dress the machines and the Muslims look the same?

01:26:53 --> 01:27:28
			In general, they had the same dress Yes, because they were wearing the long film, and the only the
turbans and stuff However, there are some attributes that the finer details of this dress would
differ in that the Muslims could be recognized from the Ministry point, but you have to realize it
was a battle going on. So you're not really looking for these finer details, there was a battle
going on, and you don't have time to analyze. Again, imagine the scene, you have a lot of people
attacking from both sides. And it's a one on one battlefield, you come in, and there are 20 people
ahead of you, and around you and beside you to left of you behind you. It is pure chaos. And this is

01:27:28 --> 01:28:00
			where real emotion and real courage and real tactics are showing. As for the battles of our times,
like I said, many people call them the Battle of the cowards, you're hiding behind trenches, you're
not seeing the enemy, you don't know who you shoot the battle in those days, you're one on one, you
are facing the enemy. So you're in the middle of chaos, you have to be intelligent, you have to be
wise, you have to know what you're doing. So of course, some of the Sahaba you fell into the air was
too chaotic, to see who's a Muslim and who is not. However, they do say that there were certain
differences between the outward appearance of the mystical and the outward appearance of the Muslims

01:28:00 --> 01:28:00
			will love.

01:28:02 --> 01:28:05
			You we'll take questions from the floor as well. Charlie Rose on to

01:28:06 --> 01:28:07
			the band's up and often.

01:28:29 --> 01:28:35
			The question is many, many times we're living in countries where the Sharia is not practiced. And
there are oppressive rules there. What should we do?

01:28:36 --> 01:28:50
			This is indeed a very long and a very important question. And it raises a lot of emotions as well,
whenever anyone asks Is it no matter which way he answers it. However, we have to just keep one idea
in mind, in the law, have you heard the rumor before me?

01:28:52 --> 01:28:58
			Allah subhanho wa Taala will not change the situation of a people until they change that which is in
themselves.

01:28:59 --> 01:29:07
			So when the people themselves become minion with the own mercy known when they become those who
reach a level of demand,

01:29:09 --> 01:29:44
			that Allah Subhana, Allah Himself will cause a change in demand. Every person has to respond to
himself on the Day of Judgment, every person must respond on behalf of himself and his family. He
does not have to respond about the halifa or the leader or what he did and what did not do. On the
Day of Judgment alone. Ask him what did you do? Did you worship me properly? And if the person says
I worship you to the best of my abilities, but the leader did this decision that I could not control
these aspects, he is forgiven. But if he says, Yeah, I spent my life talking about the leader and
fighting the leader, whereas I myself was not praying and not fasting and not doing this. It is of

01:29:44 --> 01:29:59
			no use to a group of young youth and you will always find this amongst the youth generally, and I
speak as a youth I'm not putting them down shows I'm still young. I speak as a youth here that a
group of young youth came to a has an adversity and they said yeah has an adversity. Head judge

01:30:00 --> 01:30:26
			Yusuf has done this and this and he has done this and this. Are you not going to do something a
judge even uses was one of the worst to clinical leaders that this was the only has ever seen. He
killed the habit. He crucified literally he crucified the hammer in front of the cabinet. Are you
gonna get worse than that? You put up a hobbit body on a cross in front of the carpet and you let it
walk there for three days. That is what he did. He killed it.

01:30:28 --> 01:30:33
			He did everything that you can think of in the book, okay. He did every single crime you can think
of.

01:30:35 --> 01:31:03
			Yet he was still a Muslim. He didn't commit. He did evil, his blood he shed blood. He did this and
that, but he did not commit. So these youth came to has an adversity, rash, ignorant youth, not
knowledgeable of their religion, not having studied anything of the Quran and Hadith. And they said
to Asad Bosley? Aren't you going to do something, say something? fights? Don't just sit there. Don't
just give halaqaat in the masjid. Don't just teach the people do something show some action.

01:31:04 --> 01:31:05
			has a boss he said

01:31:07 --> 01:31:19
			also mention them by name. Very early on the Day of Judgment. Well, first he tried to convince them
excuse me, he tried to convince them and calm them down, but they will not listen to him. Then he
said so and so on the Day of Judgment.

01:31:21 --> 01:31:30
			One Riba, one backbiting that you had done in your life will cause you more distress than all of the
blood that had judged will spill

01:31:31 --> 01:31:35
			all of the blood that had judge would have spilled and will spill it till he dies.

01:31:36 --> 01:31:44
			You will not be asked about that. But one Riba that you did. You will indeed be asked about that. So
it will cause you more distress.

01:31:45 --> 01:32:17
			So as I answer your question, summarize but this is a long topic and I know emotions go up. However,
we have to do with ourselves. Let us see our own problems. And I tell you by Allah, if you have a
society that has reached a level of Eman, a level of taqwa a level of loving Allah, it is not
possible that they have a tyrannical ruler over them, a love of Jesus situation over them. And if
you were to establish an Islamic state, in most of the countries existed in our times, do you know
the first people to revolt, it would be the Muslims themselves.

01:32:18 --> 01:32:37
			Because the Muslims are not going to prefetched in the masjid. If you force them to, they're going
to revolt. The Muslims are not going to give up the river. If you force them to they will revolt.
The ministers will not give up their *, their drugs, their alcohol, if you force them to,
they will be the first to attack you because they have not reached a level of demand.

01:32:38 --> 01:32:55
			That is why as you said in the beginning, the way that came down, the inspiration that came down was
all about athletes, about to heat about the athlete. When a man has settled in their hearts Ayesha
says this, when a man has settled in their hearts, then Allah revealed

01:32:56 --> 01:33:30
			the Afghan do not drink do not, do not do this. How do you reveal this at the beginning, they would
have said we will never give up women and we will never give up our alcohol. But when the man had
reached their hearts, then when the verse came down for alcohol in the streets of Medina, before our
most precious drink to them, they vomit what they have swallowed. One do one desperate when it comes
down. So you have to do what you can do. Allah will ask you what you could do, and what could you do
take care of yourself and your family and your friends and your relatives. Do as much as you can.
