Yasir Qadhi – EPIC Umrah Seminar
AI: Summary ©
The speakers stress the importance of praying to the Prophet sallal Ali Ali wa sallam during burial processes in Afghanistan, as it is a symbol for a man's breathing. They stress the need for protecting oneself during carrier season, drinking water, and not rushing. The speakers also emphasize privacy and security during church services and mention a trip to Saudi Arabia. It is important to not rush to get in before church, and privacy and security are emphasized.

Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
So this
sitting or conference is for our Thanksgiving ombre that inshallah we are going with Dr. Yasir qadhi And
assuming that all of you Inshallah,
first thing first is, we had a time change for this event, origin and Ema that I believe are not for four o'clock to five o'clock.
And because the daylight saving the prayer time change, so it would have been conflicting with us or prayers and whatnot. So we changed the time from 230. And that email was supposed to go many days ago, unfortunately not and it's our fault. So this morning, the email went out. So I'm glad that you all made it here on the left, this program will be recorded and we will be here after four o'clock as well just in case those from the family members may have missed it. And we will always going to be here to answer any of the questions you actually ask God is here and guess something that comes up on that particular regards. But our apology that we missed that part. The program flow is
basically got Rasika they will give the spiritual part of it and whichever whatever the he wants to talk about it but the tape to my left he is the owner for our car travel. And he have been he will brief us with the other other logistics and ticketing and documentations and whatnot we have prepared. We have been working in the backend for many hours to have a package ready. So in case you might have any questions we also have a sister Susie on his team, she will be here
she's here already in case sisters might have any questions specific to her or you can also come to Dr. Yasir qadhi
privately to ask any questions that you might have inshallah. So without further ado, Inshallah, I'm gonna give a curiosity
is that gonna look a lot hamdu lillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah who are the early he was the woman while on my bed. So this is just going to be a brief reminder session about the spirituality and some practical tips and some basic Islamic film and law about the procedure of about the procedure.
Okay, so any questions you have Inshallah, just write them down and move them forward, inshallah? Tada, okay, so just a brief talk, to go over some of the etiquettes of Ramadan, and the laws of Ramadan so that we are all on the same wavelength. Quick show of hands, how many of you are doing ombre for the very first time in your lives?
Okay, so you have not been to the house before the cabin before. So this is going to be the first time okay Bismillah. So with that in mind, you're actually going at a very good time, November is a very good time, the weather is an hamdulillah ideal. And crowd is going to be relatively on the lower side as much as possible, given all of the visa restrictions and lifting up and whatnots what hamdulillah you're actually going at one of the best times of the year to go so inshallah it's a good exposure to the more crowded seasons, which has its own its own dynamics. With that being said, just a brief reminder, the concept of ombre and the blessings pertaining to OMA are in fact, pretty
much all of them same as hedge, ie the blessings of hedge and the blessings of Umbra overlap, except that Umbra is less. In fact, Romera is called the smaller hedge. This is one of the titles of Aurora is the smaller hedge. So all of the blessings pertaining to hedge partially also apply to O'Meara, because O'Meara is a type of minor Hajj, and therefore, the same notions that we have when we go for Hajj, we need to have similar frame of mind most importantly, that aroma is something that potentially expels all of our sins and forgives all of our sins. And our Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam explicitly linked Amara with the forgiveness of sins he said in the famous Hadith, Tabby Rubin
Alhaji will Amara keep on repeating hygiene obras keep on doing them at regular intervals to have your opener had you will keep on repeating hygiene ombre because these two will eliminate your sins like a furnace gets rid of impurities, you know the furnace goes gets rid of impurities, so this hajj and umrah is going to be getting rid of your sins. So we go for O'Meara with the mindset of a life changing experience, right? Obviously, here's the big life changing experience. But O'Meara is a partial ombre should have the same mindset. When I go from Morocco, I'm going to come back a different person. Allah has blessed me to go perform a minor pilgrimage. And I must say here that
the ease of transportation, unfortunately comes at a negative cost as well. Imagine if we had to do ombre, the good old way. Imagine there's no air airplane and you had to do an ombre. How much you would value that Omura compared
Who? Oh, I'm believing Thursday. I'll be back next Monday. Right? Just imagine the same three days, three days, right? But you had to take three months to get there. Imagine how much you would value that O'Meara is the same overall. But Allah has gifted us with a test, because every gift is a test. Allah has gifted us with the test of speed of travel. So we can leave Friday morning, we'll be back next Sunday, one week and with a quick trip back and forth. And we don't realize that in fact, this is such a blessing from Allah to visit his house, people would spend months going there. And that is why when you read the travel logs of the good old days, nobody went for a week because it would take
a week to get there. Even if you were in the vicinity from Mecca to Medina is one week, by the way, right? One week from Medina to Makkah will take one week. What do you think from Timbuktu from under those from if we had an American Muslim contingent without without air travel, it would take three months something like this by air by by ship. So don't trivialize the experience, simply because it is easy for us. It is a blessing from Allah, it's easy, but with that blessing comes responsibility. So realize that the same blessings of hedge partially apply for ombre as well so we go with the same mindset that potentially we will come back cleansed new people, that if Allah accepts our ombre that
is insha Allah to Allah assign that our past sins have been forgiven and realize that of course we are going to the very holiest places on earth there is nothing more blessing and holy than Makkah and Medina and that's why our Prophet sallallahu wasallam said if you're going to go on a religious journey, there is no religious journey to go to other than Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem, the only holy places on Earth, Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem and everything is extra blessing in Makkah and Medina everything your Salah, your DUA, your vicar, your sadaqa your actions of worship everything so it's not just they'll often say, don't just go with I'm going to do too often say it is every
good deed that you can do it is multiplied in Makkah and Medina and therefore, as we know culturally, and there's nothing wrong with this people go with long lists of do hours. Nothing wrong with that we'll get to if I if I forget to mention ask me but there should be some caveats but there's nothing wrong. Same for Umrah have your do as in your mind. What am I going to make dua for standing in front of the Kaaba, what is my heart's desires that I have to ask Allah subhanho wa Taala all of this you prepare yourself spiritually and mentally, that going for obrah is a blessing that is meant to impact your life. It's not just a vacation that you're going to enjoy you and you
come back. It is something that is supposed to be a transformative experience in your lives. If you're not going with this mentality, then the mistake is beginning from the very first step before even taking it if you're not going with the mentality of a transformative experience. I want this O'Meara to impact my life. I want this to have a market difference in the before ombre versus the after ombre Ami. That's the mentality you have to go with. And if you don't have that mentality, then you've kind of lost the whole purpose of going because getting a trip to the house of Allah being gifted by him. The visa is not from the government the visa is from Allah subhana wa Tada the
real the real visa. This is the technicality the real permission is from the one up above. If Allah blesses you to go then hamdulillah What more do you want? It's a blessing from Allah subhanho wa Taala so we go with that frame of mind and when we land we are in our travel package we are landing in Medina first of all I'll briefly go over Medina because logistically that's where we are beginning we're beginning with Medina first and then going to makup and of course logistically, this actually helps us because then we can wear O'Meara after Medina. Otherwise if we did get the first we'd have to wear the Haram sorry, where the Haram from the airplane and that makes it a little bit
difficult. So going to Medina makes a lot logistics easy for us anyway. And it also helps us accommodate with the timezone any package I take I performed with the universe anyway, it's better in every sense to do that. So in Medina, obviously we know that this is the city of the Prophet sallallahu I said and when we get there, I'll give you a lecture is about the blessings of Medina and we'll go on a tour of the sights of Medina and you will see some of the original places of the incidence of the Sierra taking place over there. And of course, in Medina, of course is the messenger that the Prophet salallahu Salam, that is why we are going to that place the Most Holy
Masjid after the Kaaba. And it is essentially where the entire incidence of the Sierra in Medina takes place. Every Hadith that you read 90% chance it was said in that place, every single incident from the Madani Sierra, almost everything that took place in that masjid, all of the houses of the process and we're inside the modern day masjid, right all of the houses of the Sahaba were inside that Masjid complex that is there. So the entire Sierra that we study from the Medina and phase you are walking in that location and
Place and anybody who's been there knows and I lived in the city for 10 years, I will tell you, it really is magical in the spiritual sense not a negative sense a positive sense. It is something that impacts you and you cannot help but your Eman goes up to the skies. Alhamdulillah Medina is a beautiful place and it makes us love our religion so much more and I'm always excited to go back to Medina because they're in my city. I lived there for 10 years. And Medina Of course what do we do in Medina, we maximize our time in the masjid of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and in the robot, the blessed place inside the masjid, the older is the most special place inside the masjid
and you guys are going off season. So please take advantage of this you will not be able to do this during Hajj during Hajj, forget about this don't even think is like you just concentrate on protecting yourself and edge you are going off season off season would you take advantage of the things you cannot do during peak season. And the number one thing in Medina, the role of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam they're older is of course it is. It is actually you know, around the size of this rescue of ours here is not that large, you have imagined and hashtag we have 2 million people, they have to have this space for the role though, you're going off season, which means if
you're patient, and you take your time, you will get to playing the role the multiple times. So take advantage of this, and especially the older is now open 24 hours, this is a blessing from Allah take advantage of it when I lived in Medina, in the 90s and the early 2000s, the robot would shut off at 10pm. And it would open then at 5am. So from 10 to five it was closed. Now unhemmed Didn't last 24 hours open. Which means if you go off season 2am 3am Usually, I'm not it's never empty, it is never empty, it will be packed to capacity. But if you just wait, your turn will come. So now is not the time to sleep at 3am. No, come back and sleep.
In Medina take advantage of the older sisters as well ask your timings when you get there. The sister time is different. So I don't know if I'll top my head I'll find out when I get them we will update you. The sisters have four hours, around four hours of there all the time. So you know your timings and that you can constant chatter on those. And then the brothers it is other than those four hours it is for the brothers and so you can take advantage of that time over there. And of course of the etiquettes of visiting the masjid that the prophets have said and first thing we do when we go there, we pray to here to Mr to Raka. And then after the Al masjid, we then go to the
grave of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam and we give our Salat and salaam to the grave of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam. And we understand that this is the most blessed and holy grave on the face of this earth. And when we stand in front of the grave of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we should have that feeling that this is our Prophet, this is our result. So literally a few feet from us where we stand and there is no doubt that your salawat and you're asking ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada to increase in your love, and you're making dua to Allah to grant you the Shiva of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam all of this should come from your from your heart obviously I don't
need to tell you that. When you go there sometimes some people do things they should not do we of course we make dua to Allah alone. Our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is our Prophet, but our God is the one we ask for things, you know this, this is something that is understood. Unfortunately, some people they go beyond and they ask directly and that should not be done. We ask Allah subhana wa Tala and we ask Allah to give a Shiva of the prophecies and we ask Allah to give us love of the process. And we ask Allah to give us the companionship of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam on judgment day and in gender. And of course when you're in Medina, it is human nature and
it is good. You increase the Salawat upon the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and you may say salam upon him as many times as you want in front of the grave not to problem, you are there temporarily. And so you don't know how many times is going to happen. So you can go and give your Salah multiple times no problem. Also, one of the things that I advise all of us to do that the brothers in particular the sisters will have to be outside is to go to Berkeley,
which is the place they were 10,000 Sahaba are buried, and it is the most blessed cemetery in our religion. And it is the cemetery where the daughters of the Prophet system are buried where the son of the Prophet system is buried where all of the nine whys of the processes are buried where has central the Allahu and is buried and where Jaffa Rosada consented Aberdeen the great great grandson of the great great grandson of the process and are buried where Imam Malik is buried where even Omar is buried work Abu Hooray all of these major names they are all buried over there. And but there is something that is open for the brothers after fajr and after answer. These are the two times it is
open. Right? So another thing you need to do is schedule it in.
And if I'm able to we'll have a tour but it depends on the logistics of the timeframe. But if I'm able to take the brothers that are tour sisters, they don't allow sisters inside so I can't do anything but um
You will go outside and you will send your your DUA from the outside but they don't allow sisters to go inside. That's their position, their filthy position. But as for the brothers after Multilib, sorry, after fajr and after Asad, what I advise everyone to do as many times as you can, because you will never get this opportunity as easily as in Medina. And I hope every brother in our group does this is you pray Fajr or hacer, in the front row as much as you can. And then when the janazah takes place, because every Salah has a janazah 99% of the time, as soon as the genetic janazah takes place, you rush outside, and you follow the janazah.
Okay, you rush outside, and you attach yourself to the janazah. When I say rush outside, I mean within 10 seconds, literally, within 10 seconds, you better be outside in the courtyard, because it's like the running of supersonic race from the salam soon if you even wait one minute, I guarantee you you will going to see it in the distance is gone, you're going to pray as close as you can to the exit on the left hand side of the Haram because the back here is on the left hand over there. So if the table is this way, you're going to pray on the left hand side of the table all logistical tips by though you won't, you won't hear them and filthy lessons. This is having lived in
Medina, these are the insider tips. Okay.
gate number 32 is good. But anyway,
I'll give you all of these insider tips. Okay, or 36 is also fine. So you just look at the gate number and the one that's facing the table on the left hand side as soon as you pray close to it. So if that's so suppose this is the door there or whatever. So you pray here and the door should be there for you soon as the Salaam is given, and you pray the the janazah salah, you rush outside, with your sandals, you'll need them and then you just wait when the janazah goes by, then you just get yourself in and you help with the janazah and you walk with the janazah and then you go all the way in into the very back wherever the grave is, and you help very well you will not get this
opportunity anywhere else in the world to see up close and personal how the burial is done in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu Sena, it's a very unique experience. And as you are there make dua that you and me are both very over there when our time comes as well because we want to be buried over there as well. We ask Allah azza wa jal for a death in Medina and a burial and bhakti Allah was holiest of all graves in this in this world. So that's another thing that we do in Medina. Another thing that we do in Medina is that we go and pray in the famous Masjid of Koba, which is mentioned in the Quran, and our Prophet system would go to Koba weekly, every week, he
would go to Cuba, and we as a group are gonna go to Cuba together, we're gonna have a bus, we're gonna go to Cuba together, and try your best to be in the state of will do when you get to cover ie that do will do from the hotel room, if you're not able to keep it or whatever Inshallah, no problem, but I'm saying try your best. Why? Because our Prophet sallallahu wasallam said, whoever does will do from his house and then goes to Coba shall get the reward of a full ombre just by those two rocket. So we want a lot of reward just for those two cars. So we go to Cuba, and that is where Fatima and added the Aloha news to live. So their house was next to over. So we're going to be going
over there. And we're going to be seeing that location and pray in Mr. Koba. And one of the other the sites that we're going to go is the beautiful mountain of wood, which is where the battle of wood takes place. And where Hamza, the Allah, one is buried, and we will go over the Battle of boyhood, live on site, however, I encourage you to listen to my Sierra the battle of words. In particular, I think there's four lessons in that or something. So listen to that, before we get there. Then when we're there, I'll give you a 15 minute recap, but I cannot go for hours over there. 15 minutes, I'll recap. But if you know the story in detail is going to be vivid in your mind. And
then the 50 minute is going to be refresher to do that. So if you're able to listen to my especially the third section of my Sera, so that you have a very, very clear idea because we will be on the exact site of word. And we're going to see exactly what happened at the battle of words. And it's good if you know the details beforehand so that we can just, you know, go quickly over what needs to be done. These are the main sites and the main issues of Medina. And the main point here is really just to maximize your time in the masjid of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and remember that our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that one raka in Medina is equal to 1000 or cause
elsewhere. So do the math here. Just take a look at how long is it going to take you to pray 1000 Guys, in Medina, you pray one Raka and that's all that it needs to be done. It is automatically it is automatically going to be there if you do just one raka so pray as many records as you can, and many Sooners enough is and whatnot. And of course, try your best to not miss any farther than that. I mean, that's obviously understood. You need all five Salawat to pray in the masjid of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The question always arises for our sisters. We're not a
able to pray in that timeframe if they're not able to do that, by the way, obviously, if you're able to it is my position in the position of majority of our modern scholars, there is absolutely no problem in taking medication to change the timeframe of the monthly issue. And if you're able to do that at Hamdulillah, it saves the issue of this discussion. If you're not able to for whatever reason, or it still happens, no problem in normal mode orbignya. Allah will give you the reward based upon your intention and you may go inside the masjid and make dua in the masjid but obviously, you will not pray either in Macromedia and obviously there is no Salah during that timeframe, but
you may go inside the masjid and you may make dua and you may say salam upon the Prophet saw some and you may go to the bouquet outside, of course, that doesn't matter. whatever state you're in, you may give your door out to the people of both here. So from Medina, then we're going to make our way to Makkah. And typically, if you're going into a car, it'll take you three, four hours, we're going in a bus, it might take up to five or even six hours depends on just logistical issues. So keep that in mind. And we will wear our haram we will wear the Haram wear the Haram from the hotel room because it's convenient to do that in our hotels in Makkah, we just take a shower and wear it but we
will bind it there's a difference to do that what is binding it you say I am now in the state of haram it's one thing to where I can wait around right here and now doesn't mean anything. I can go back home bring my firearm and where it doesn't mean anything but to declare to Allah Oh ALLAH I'm in the State of Iran. Oh Allah I'm doing Hajj Oh ALLAH I'm doing Amara. This announcement is done. At the mill cots. It is not done in your hotel room. It is not done in the masjid that the process of you do it at the mill caught right so we will get on the bus and we will be wearing haram the brothers and the sisters of course your usual clothes are fine with the with the Haram The sisters
there is no special haram per se only if a sister is in the habit of wearing niqab or gloves which I don't think we're going to have in this group but if that is the case, then come to me otherwise whatever you're usually wearing, that is your haram. As for the brothers we are all aware that the ROM is too simple garments and the simple here, sometimes it's translated as unstitched and this is I have mentioned many many times in my lectures if you listen to them, the meaning of unstitched does not mean that pins and needles and sewing has not been done. Every cloth has sewing done on it. The meaning of unstitched is that it is not wound bound together like a sleeve for example. This is
a stitched garment and that it has two sides to it or a shirt, it has two sides to it. The Haram is open, you wrap it around yourself. That's what unstitched means here. Not that there's no pin and needles. Or you know, sweet Agha, that's ridiculous. I mean, everything has, you know, has has needles and has stitching done on it. Stitching does not mean that there's no there's no thread in it. No, everything has thread in it. Stitched unstitched means this is a wrong term in English, it means that it should be an open garment. So we wrap it around ourselves. That's what it means. That's the Haram here. And I have a video online how to wear the Koran brothers, you can watch that
video. Okay, I went literally in my Memphis Masjid. I brought in Iran and I showed the brother some techniques but any brother who has a long ghee, you will teach us how to wear the haram. Okay. This is the mother of all the Haram says the longI. Okay, if you know how to do the Longhi then we are your students when it comes to wearing the haram. For those who don't have the luxury of wearing rookies, then they can watch the video and get an idea because what happens, unfortunately, is, brothers don't understand that you need room for your legs. So they wrap themselves like a zombie completely. And then they cannot walk and they fall down doesn't work that way. So they need to
figure out how to wrap it such that their legs can walk right. So there's just a simple technique that and there's many ways but I've just in the video I have that. So we will wear the firearm and the firearm as I said, it is worn anywhere. You can wear it here if you want and we will declare the NIA in the Millport. Now
the issue of praying to God there's a bit of a 5050 issue here. Whoever wants to pray to the gods in the relay for no problem. That's that's fine. It is my personal position and opinion and there are as you know, there's lots of opinions out there. It is my personal opinion that's
that to Raka is not something that is that is necessary for the Haram rather that the Prophet sallallahu wasallam, paraded because of the relay for sudo Khalifa is a blessed Valley, and he prayed to God there. Nonetheless, if we stop at the Khalifa, we will pray to God because the prophets has impeded Abdullah Khalifa and we will then announce our new year how is the neon announced the bake Allahumma O'Meara This is the announcement. The bake Allahumma O'Meara Oh ALLAH
Baik, I'm answering your call for umbra. And if you don't remember this just you can say in any language Oh Allah, I am doing Amara for your sake. This is your announcement to Allah that I'm now entering the State of Iran. Once you say this, certain things become prohibited upon you certain things become prohibited until you break the haram. I'm not gonna go over all the technical detail list, but the main things that we need to be concerned with anything to do with the opposite gender in a marriage relationship, it is now off limits anything of a romance nature and beyond romance, it is off limits, anything to do with perfume and with four brothers and four sisters as well cutting
of the hair, right, it should not be done in the State of Iran. So applying perfume and applying perfume means you take a cologne or an edited and you put it on yourself and my humble opinion.
Anything that is perfumed is halal. It is perfume that is haram. Perfumed means your soap has some scent to it. That's my personal opinion. Opinion many of my teachers as well that people sometimes go a little bit extreme. There are things that have a natural scent coming from them. Nobody uses them for the scent you don't use soap for the scent you so for soap, okay, food has aroma coming from it or you're not going to eat beautiful biryani if you can smell the mashallah Elijah you're gonna say Oh, this is perfume biryani you know? No, that's Halal to eat Brioni at any time when hamdulillah Al Hamdulillah but it must be Mutton Biryani if it's vegetarian. Then I have I have a
filthy position they're not allowed to eat a vegetarian but as a joke by them just saying okay, still vegetarian, but yeah, we've got to be clear about that. Okay, there's definitely a if there's a bit as a vegetarian biryani anyway, so what's the point but Yanni without the meat anyway?
Somebody agree with me what? Ah. Mashallah, there you go. Exactly, exactly. We got to change these modernistic progressive tendencies, you know, they're losing our tradition. There's gotta be that beef there anyway, so we're always with the biryani, what was I saying? Her perfume big difference between perfume and perfumed, open the water.
And what is not allowed in my opinion is perfume, which is cologne aerated all of this stuff. As for an incidental you know, smell that comes from something like soap, which is the big issue. Can I use soap? Can I brush my teeth and hedge for three days people are in their home? say of course you will brush your teeth or else you're going to cause a fitna to the other people, you know we don't want that to happen. So be reasonable the Shediac doesn't want you to with a biller not Yeah, would you be reasonable point is you don't put on any perfume or cologne, some of that in the State of Iran, and you don't trim your hair also nails again, people go too extreme here. The point is you don't
trim your nails. But if your nail hit something accidentally breaks, Allah is not going to call you to task for an accident, you didn't intend to do it. If half the nail goes off, then you have to get it off. Okay, you didn't intentionally do that there's no Kafala to do the point is you keep your state in the Haram and in Amara is only six seven hours and how just three days so it's a bit of a difference and overall you are going to be out of it from within the same day. You get into a haram maybe at 12 o'clock. And if things go correctly, you will be out by 10pm 10 hours that's it. So it's not that difficulty shallow data from when we were the ROM we're gonna get back on the bus drive to
Makkah, obviously will stop on the way you do not have to be in the state of voodoo. I remember one poor guy. He thought he had to be in the state of Google for 10 hours. 12 hours. He's like what do I do? Actually? No, you don't have to be in the state of Ohio in a haram you have to be wudu for O'Mara. That's fine but obviously you can go to the restroom but not until you get to the Haram so we will get to the Haram will check into our hotels. If you wish to freshen up one more time, even by taking a shower no problem. But again no perfume and men cannot cannot go back to their pants and shirt. So if you want to take your home off take a shower because sometimes November shouldn't be
but in June July, generally speaking I would be sweaty and I would want to take a shower before entering the Haram no problem, but you cannot wear your pants and shirt or your shalwar kameez or your throat you cannot wear that you have to wear the same or another one but you have to wear it from when you get out of the shower. You wear your home again, sisters, obviously there is no harmony. If you want to change your clothes as well, no problem. That's all halal. Even the brothers can change their haram, but you have to work around but not you don't have to the same. So from the hotel, we're going to have time zones, two three time zones. And we're going to then tell you at
nine o'clock, 10 o'clock at 11 o'clock, whatever time you want to go or if you want to go on your own as well. This is the way I'll logistically do it. It's up to you. And we will then walk into the house from the cab. Those who did have those of you that have never done Omura
I encourage those that haven't to give them the opportunity to do ombre with me or with one of the guides because I'm not trying to be like me and or harsher and
Asti. But my honest advice to those of you that have done O'Meara before, don't do it with somebody else, do it with yourself. Don't go with a group. Don't go with a group in the tawaf and in the sorry, because you ruin half the spirit of the camera by monitoring the group. You want to do Omura at your pace, enjoy la vida, da zikr Quran, you should not be worried about the group. The hotel is right there, if you get lost look up, you'll see it, we have the tallest hotel in the world, guys. I'm not joking, is the tallest hotel in the world, you will never get lost. You get lost, you just look up where the clock tower is the clock that is Rotel. Right there. Okay, you won't get lost to
subdeacon. Anywhere you look, don't worry about the group. Now, if you're going for the first time I understand. So whatever time I announced, may I gently request, let's keep as much as possible to those those that have never gone. And I'm not trying to be like, you know, trying to push away, I'm being honest with you, as somebody who has done more numerous than I can count maybe over a few 1000 I have no idea how many hours I've done, may Allah accept them from me, I'm telling you on a personal level as a brother to a brother, a brother to a person who just have the same faith. Don't lose the length of your Ibadah by being with other people you want just like your tahajjud you want
to be on your own in front of Allah subhana wa Tada alone. The best camera is alone. Or if you're with your wife or children, that's your group, do out with your family. Why would you want to go with 50 100 other people, when they stop, you stop when they go you go when they make dua, you want your concentration. So my honest advice to you is, if you're confident enough, do aamra on your own and enjoy it between you and Allah subhanaw taala now in case you genuinely feel whatever reason I'm here for you, and all of us guides are here for you no problem, then come with us and I'm here to die here for the group. No way you want to come with me 100 I will also lead a group no problem. But
here's the point info often say I'm not going to be making this up for you, you have to make time for yourself, right? I'm just gonna be walking with you, which is fine. If the first time you're going, I fully understand maybe a little bit, you know, you don't know where things are hamdulillah come with me, and I'll try my best to slow down what am I problems that walk too fast, as everybody knows, that is around me. So I'm gonna try to slow down. And if I am walking too fast, just remind me that hey, you told me you're going to walk slow, you're walking too fast. So as one of my problems, I have a fast walk wherever I go. So we will enter the tub off seven toe offs, as you
know, and the brothers if they're able to keep the right shoulder uncovered. And also the first three do a little bit faster if you're able to. It depends on the rush if it's crowded, which should not be no problem. If it's not crowded, follow the Sunnah get some extra measure. And it's all about wanting to be like the prophets of Allah save as much as possible he did it, we want to do it the first three little bit faster. And then all seven have the right shoulder uncovered the right shoulder by the way, does not need to be uncovered before ombre sorry, before or after toe off only during the tawaf. So in the bus in the hotel, you can cover yourself, no problem, you should cover
yourself, no problem. Once you're starting the toe off right before the talk, that is when you put the right shoulder out, and you keep the right shoulder exposed, and then the seventh showed the seven times around, then you can cover it again and then resume on the camera. So the seven dwarfs are done with the left hand side facing the camera. So we're going counter clockwise seven times. And
remember this point and I always have to remind myself all the time that the easiest thing to do is to lose track of how many throw offs he has done, it is the most common problem that happens. So monitor yourself and the way that I do it, which is now what I always do. You start counting after you finish. When you finish one, you say okay, now I have done one. Okay? Because what happens is when you get to number six or number five, you're like, hey, is this the beginning of six or the end of five? You get confused. And you're wondering which one is it? So my philosophy is up to my philosophy. Do not even start the count until you finish one. When you finish one you say number
one,
then you finish to number two. Number three, and I personally I just use my fingers so 1234567 Or some people use you know some clock mashallah there's an auto off app. If you cannot count to seven, it will count to seven for you. Okay, you think I'm joking? Look it up. Okay, there's an app that will come to throw off for you. If you have a problem counting to seven, it will count to seven for you no problem inshallah. But most of us can count to seven. So we will count to our seven Inshallah, during the tawaf, you may make any dua you may do, vicar, you should read Quran, no problem, do whatever you want. The only thing from the Sunnah is the last. The last part
The gap between the rochen and the MACOM between the Laconia money and the MACOM you set up an antenna for dunya Hassan has an open either but not that's the only thing from the Sunnah. Otherwise the rest of the time it is dikkat and Dora and Quran and the best dua is the one that comes from the heart. So you make your door as you read your Quran, whatever you want no problem. And when you finish the seven, when you finish the seven, you will then try to pray behind the mahkamah Ibrahim at a distance that doesn't disturb the crowd. You will find people who don't understand the Sunnah, trying to pray right behind Muhammad Ibrahim in the middle of the crowd. And this is against the
Sunnah because you are hurting other people harming other people destroying the synergy of the tawaf and that is not good. You go behind back where there is no crowd and if you're able to pray such that the Maqam Ibrahim is in front of you great if you cannot and you have to go right and left no problem to raka anywhere in the Haram is fine. And these two DACA are a part of the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam after the Tuukka you then it is soon all of this is Sunnah, regarding with that you then should drink them them and our Prophet system drank zamzam after praying to God. And zamzam is one of the biggest blessings of Makkah. Our Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam said zum
zum will give you whatever you ask means whatever dua you make, Allah will grant it when you drink them them. So we better have our donors prepared, and make sure that we make good draws from the heart when we drink zamzam also our profits or losses and after drinking ZamZam, he would throw it on his hair and head as well. So zamzam is blessing water. zamzam is mobile rocket is blessing water and you should drink it too will do in it, pour it on yourself. It's something that you should do no problem. So, once you finish that you will do the zamzam then you will walk to Safa and Marwa Safa and Marwa you will not get lost because there are signs to suffer in seven languages. There are
signs don't worry, but English is there to do is there already is there suffer one direction you follow the sign, and
it's November so I don't think there should be rush when there is rush. I always go to the third floor. Not even the second row I personally go to the third floor because that's me. I like that one the best one but it shouldn't be any rush in November should be fine. In case there is rush, then you can go upstairs there's five, four and a half levels and a half because one of them is for wheelchairs. By the way if anybody cannot do walking, sick, elderly, for whatever reason incapacitated, they can hire somebody to push or if they have a loved one who's can push the hit a free wheelchair free get a borrow it from an office, go ask any of the security guards where can I
get a wheelchair and the wheelchair is free. You just give your ID and they'll lend you a wheelchair. And if you're able to push somebody somebody needs to go ahead. If you don't have somebody to push you. There are plenty of people that are earning money over there as * out of money. I mean, what a part time job rather than flipping burgers at Burger King. What did the kids could do the kids a month ago and they say here come I'll take you 100 real $130 And how just 500 by the way is extra raise the prices up okay 500 reals for too often say but offseason I think it's 100 rails or $30 $30 It'll take you, you know, Safa and Marwa and whatnot so if you're not able to do
that, then you can and Masha Allah these days mashallah Tabata cola if you want to pay a little bit of money, there's even an electric go kart mashallah Tabata cola. I'm serious. I'm not joking. If you want to pay some money, you can even do
electric scooter, electric scooter, where you can just sit on it and just turn around, right? But there's a special floor for that. So if you want to do that one, you have to go to two and a half the second there's between two and three, there's a special floor just for the scooters. So you can just do that one and get it done. MashAllah in 10 minutes, and it is John is if you don't have an excuse, but why would you want to do it? But if you're sick, then yes, definitely all of these options are there for you. So final few points and then inshallah I'm done.
So, I'm sorry sorry, sorry, is seven times as you know, each one time is one so 1234567 Some people say one is back and forth and this is a mistake amongst the masses No, the first journey is one on the way back is two. So when you come back to suffer, you will have done two already 123456 Then you finish at Marwa. Now one of the most neglected Sooners of Amara is the following. And this is sad that so many Muslims do not do something so sad so simple. Our Prophet sallallahu Sallam would make dua before every single journey between Safa and Marwa at the beginning of the sorry, all seven series, he would make dua long do actual
They like maybe in our times it will be 1520 minutes. That might be too long for many of us okay, but at least make some dua. At least make some dua before every side this is one of the times when dua is blessed and responded to. So before the say every say he would stand on suffer face the kava raise his hands up to Allah azza wa jal and there are two hours from the Sunnah, please download them in the south our motto Masha, Allah from an agile beta, our Tamara Fela, Jana Haley and YotaPhone Bhima Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. So there's two hours that he would say, and then he would make dollars of his own, or whatever you want to make. So if you're able to do
this, and for those of you that are going for the first time, why would you not want to do it? For those of you that even work for the 100th time, still, you should be doing something like this. So that Allah accepts, make dua from the heart. And again, this is one of the reasons why I say the best camera is on your own because you want to make dua at your pace. You don't want to be in the middle of or then your group is rushing for like, Oh, I'm not done yet. And you doesn't you know, it destroys the pleasure of your own personality by that that's why I'm going to tell you frankly, I don't you know me by now I don't beat around the bush. I'm a very straight talker. I'm a person who
just tells it like it is and I have to face the consequences. Well Allah He I'm not saying this to get you off of them. I have Allah He know I am your guide. I'm here for you. But I'm telling you honest to God, honestly, the best Amara is between you and Allah, nobody there no tension, nobody watching you, you make your DUA from your heart. If you need me, I'm here for you no problem. And you can come with me so if you know how to do Umrah, Bismillah if it's your first I'm gonna come and we will go as a group, no problem and you can, you know, follow me and we'll go bit by bit and we'll go literally, all together, we'll do the whole amount of together. No problem Inshallah, but I'm
gonna, I'm not gonna go on the scooter, don't worry, you're gonna, if you're on the scooter, you're on your own, then you're going to be waving to us every time and we'll we'll, we'll, you know, just wave to you when you go by the scooter. So we'll do the seven say, Now that takes a while. On a good day.
Walking at a moderate pace, the say alone will easily take an hour, hour, 20 minutes, just to say just the say, the throw off. On a very, very good day I have done throw off. I walk a bit fast in 1112 minutes. But these are the days when there was no rush nowadays every day is rush. So on a good day, we'll do too often 20 to 35 minutes on a good day. Right? Which I hope inshallah we'll be in November should be a good day and evening, we're going to be there. I think within half an hour, we would have finished off, then we're going to pray to duck out and zamzam. 15 minute break in that time, then it is an hour hour and a half of walking. So the site is a little bit you know, a little
bit more rigorous, but it's a casual walk, except between the two green lights, which is where our mother Hotjar the dip happened and so she would run there was a dip she couldn't see a smile. You all know the story. She could not see a smile because of this. So when there was a valley so originally those two was a valley there was a valley she would run quickly so that she gets to the end of the valley then she can see is married over there. So the men are encouraged to jog not do a Olympic race you're not supposed to do that. And especially in Milan for the love of God do not do it in Olympic race please Okay, so we get to a just a slight fast just to follow the Sunnah of
Hydra. And then we finish off on the seventh. When we finish on the seventh there is no dua that was at the beginning, not the end, right at the beginning of every Saturday, they're seven to us. So 123 When you finish, you just walk away that's it, you're done. And the brothers will go to the barber shops that are barber shops on the other side. And you just go and get to make sure you have some change with you by the way, everybody should have at least 3040 reels with them to get their their hair trimmed or shaved or whatnot. And the sisters you can go back to your hotel room. And maybe if amongst you you own you all three, four or five of you all have one pair of scissors or bring your
own no problem. And you are allowed to cut your own hair by the way, no problem some some sisters think they cannot cut their own hair. No, you can cut your own hair, the sisters cut basically a fingers length, and the brothers trim the whole hair or shave the whole hair. It is not in my humble opinion. Good or sooner or valid to only take one and one and one and that's it. This is not this kind of playing games. The purpose is you trim or you shave. If you ask me I don't approve of just doing a symbolic cut here. You'll see some people do that one cut one cut and then think they're done. And that's not the spirit the spirit is you shave or you trim one of the two. So to do that,
you need to go to a barber or you need to have something in your room like you know some some brothers have the what do you call it? The trimmers, you can use a trimmer, no problem. If you want to use the trimmer in your own head, no problem. You can do that and you're going to be out of the hump one
Once you do that you are out of Iran Hamas that's it. Then you can put perfume where your regular clothes all that was forbidden now becomes halal for you. And the rest of the days we are in Makkah, it is pure DUA and Salah and Roberta. That's what the Haram is there 100,000 prayers for every prayer 100,000 Cider for every slider, there is no comparison anywhere in the world, you just want to maximize as much as you can. And lots of dua, and as many throw offs as possible, as many photo ops as possible. Now, the big question everybody asks about doing multiple cameras, and I have a longer lecture online, you can listen to it, but in a nutshell, it is permissible, it is
permissible, if you wish to do so.
However, our prophets, Allah, Saddam never did it. He never did two or more hours in one journey. And I also don't encourage this at the same time. If there is a need, for example, you want to say, Oh, this one was from me, and the other one will be from my mother or my father who's passed away. I understand. Okay, it's nothing wrong with that. But technically speaking, our Prophet SAW Selim, always did one Omura per trip. And there's a wisdom behind this, which are going to my longer lecture, which no need to go to now. So with that, we'll just going to be staying in Makkah, the rest of the days, we're going to see some of the sites in Makkah, we're going to go to the place of
Mina,
the place of Hajj, we're going to see Jebel Rama, where the people stand for four out of five day, we're going to go there as a tour as a guy. And those of you who are able to I encourage you, but we're not going to do this as a group. We're not going to hit as a group. Are we right? Or a hero? We're not going as a group, right?
No, no walking up. Yeah, big no group does this. No group does this, it takes too long. One of the days where we're free, if you want to after fajr, take a taxi, tell them about a Hara. And then you walk yourself up, we cannot go as a group 150 people is not going to be possible logistics are impossible, but especially the youngsters amongst you, and your youngest aged hearts, so all of us are in mashallah young, but especially the youngsters amongst you. If you want to write after fajr just go to a lot of Hara, get a taxi with admission elders with you how you tell us you're going, and then it'll take you an hour, 40 minutes to go up 20 minutes to come down. The timing is not
coming up and down, the timing is the line to get into the cave. That line sometimes is two, three hours, and sometimes it's even too long. So it's not difficult to get up. There's a staircase these days, by the way, when I was a teenager, back in the 80s, there was no staircase. And Allah blessed me and tested me to walk up original, right. But now in Hamdulillah, since the mid 90s, they built a staircase so meaning not a stair. So you get the point is it's demarcated is very easy. No problem, my son went the other year. And he did the whole thing in he said within 30 for 30 minutes, he was on the top in a sprinting up and whatnot. So not a problem to do that. And I encourage you to do
that. The other than that, and Maccha is just a wider and thicker and DUA and then of course, the main thing is when we come back, your knee should be that this has impacted me and I need to demonstrate that impact in my life. I need to now have a different lifestyle. I need to demonstrate that this act of worship has been accepted by Allah and I am now at a different level I've raised the bar and the goal is that every time we go every house every room rock we keep on raising the bar we don't just go back and just flatline out or else the purpose of going to the house of Allah is gone. So this is a brief nutshell spirituality law all of it combined. And by the way, I have given
multiple lectures in a lot more detail. I have two specific lectures one is the fifth of Hajj and Umrah the fifth of Ramadan sorry, and number two is the logistics and spirituality of another two separate lectures and they're much longer this is just a condensed summary of the both of them. You'll find those online with that open the floor for q&a inshallah. Any questions? Yes.
The brother is saying should we fast when we go for O'Meara? Firstly, we will actually be doing ombre at 10pm. So you better not be fasting at 10pm after Isha or something is wrong. Secondly, I would not encourage you even if we were doing it in the daytime. Because you see actions of worship.
They are each one bless it in its own way. And Omura the main point of ombre is dua in front of the cab. If you're hungry, thirsty, tired, the purpose of dua will not be met. That's why for example in hedge we are told don't fast on the day of our offer. We are forbidden from fasting. If we're doing hedge we don't fast. If we're here then we fast why? Because
As the goal of Arafa is dua so we don't burden ourselves this is not our sunnah. This is not of our student that we make life more and more difficult. Our profit system never made it a point to fast when he went for ombre so we should not do this don't fast when you go for from technically speaking, drinking zamzam is a sunnah. So if you don't drink them, so it's permissible Okay, by the way, what are the necessary are can of Romera without which there is no umbra? It's very easy. Number one, you must declare your intention to do ombre. So that declaration number two, the Seven Dwarfs number three, the seven sorry, and number four, the shaving. This is the skeleton. If you've
done this, the rest is all suna sisters. Any question? Yes. Good.
May you do? Can you do tawaf alone in your mother or father's name?
There is a bit of a controversy amongst our classical scholars can you do only throw off for the dead? And I will actually be talking about this on our Wednesday how that was next Wednesday after we come back. This so it will be I'll have a detailed discussion. In a nutshell. What the Prophet SAW said um said Hajj or Umrah
so we should stick with that as much as possible. So we should try to do Hajj or Umrah not just to throw off Allah knows best sister saying unscented deodorant, unscented lotion and haram. Obviously, if it's unscented, it is completely halal. What I'm saying is, even scented soap and scented lotion in my humble opinion does not break the Haram because nobody uses soap in order to be perfumed. What is not allowed is to put perfume on yourself with the intention of perfume. Now, is it better to avoid definitely better to avoid no doubt about it? But the sister is asking about unscented 100% Halal unscented no big deal. Okay, back to the brothers anything?
Yes, good. I see.
So the brothers saying can I do an umbrella for on behalf of my disease father.
If you have done ombre in the past, then you may do another umbrella for somebody else. But most of our scholars say the first action of worship even if it's longer should be for yourself. So if you have done any ombre in any time in the past, then you can do an aroma for your father. How do you make that Nia so when you enter the state of haram, when you enter the state of your haram, you will say the bake Allahumma on behalf of my father, le Baker Lahoma on behalf of my mother I know me and Abby and it doesn't have to be in Arabic. It can't be an order in English. Oh Allah, this aroma is for my grandfather. Oh Allah, I'm doing this for my mother. So the NIA has to be expressed when you
enter the state of of Ramadan, okay.
So the point comes that, that goes against the concept of giving. So can I say this iPhone is mine and yours?
Can I say this chocolate candy is mine and yours unless I want to split it in half know, right? The concept of gifting a good deed means you give the deed.
So this type of thing, it goes against that point. And we'll talk about this in our Wednesday. Because if you're attending the worst one, actually, the next one is the one we'll be all about. Not this Wednesday, we're going over the new one after all about this relationship between the living and the dead. We have a question here.
So
if we are going as a couple, can we stay in the same room? Now? Are you asking from a field perspective or logistics as for logistics, I'll hand it over to our brother from a 50 perspective. You there is no problem. Even intimacy is not a problem only in Haram. That's that timeframe Other than that, there is no issue at all, but in the state of haram, then romance and what is beyond is not allowed. Which means if you are sharing the room in the state of haram, then you just avoid anything that will be of a romantic nature for those 10 hours. That's it staying in the same room using the same restroom facilities. All of this is completely permissible. No problem. Question is
can we use a belt to
bind the haram? Yes, you may use the belt now some of our scholars especially over the past did not like they said it's Mikuru and the reason they said this is because they said that you are binding your use you're making it like bound like that. And even though technically perhaps they have a point. Realistically speaking most of us if we did not use a belt then we'd have a big problem if you get my point right. The brothers are not the people of longI Masha Allah JazakAllah you don't need a belt
Okay, those that are used to longI it is better than a belt. Actually, I'm being honest. The one who knows how to bind the longI it is. Why do you laugh? Every time I say lunghi? The brother finds it funny. Where do you call it? longI ha. Now I met the brother that he finds it funny. Okay. Alhamdulillah Have you ever wondered longI?
None of the brothers you haven't. That's why he finds it funny. Okay, so one of our brothers should teach him what is illunga He has never seen or heard of a monkey apparently.
Never worked. Okay, now I'm talking to the brother next to the younger brother. There he is. I'm just teasing him.
Is it allowed to wear a belt? Yes, it is. In fact, I would encourage the brothers who are not used to wearing it to wear a belt because we don't want any issues happening. How long will we stay in the mail slot? Realistically, 1015 minutes, maybe half an hour depends on our group, but not that long is going to be very quick one.
For the second quarter, can you please explain the process if you want it to do over again. So the second camera is on you. The group is not going for a second camera. We're going for one camera. You want to do it and after that it's on you. Which means you need to do the logistics. And in order to do that, you need to exit the city of Makkah and then say to Allah again. Oh Allah I'm coming back in to do another umbra. Right. So that's what you need to exit Makkah and come back in now. The closest exit to Makkah, it is called Masjid 10 a masjid issue same thing, in case you missed it out Isha was also called her name is the same place. This is where our mother I showed her the Allahu
anha she went back into Makkah from here to do Omura and that's why it's called Masjid Aisha and it is a big masjid. And the you just tell any taxi I want to go Masjid out five rails $1 $2 In offseason should not be more than $3 If he's asking more than $3 then something's wrong should be 10 rails right? Having said that, I don't know the prices keep on changing but in my time it was never more than five rails you just do. So you go to Mr. Isha and you then come back in and everything is the same. The only thing you just have to exit the hotel to Arusha and come back and you can take the same taxi you can even tell him take me to mustard Isha. Let me just say the bake O'Meara on
behalf of my mother father and then drive me back to the Harlem you can even do that. And that's done your you don't have to get off and walk into the masjid No, is just physically exiting the city of Mecca. And that's the old city of Mecca actually Masjid Aisha as well inside the modern city of Makkah. You are not exiting the modern city of Makkah. You get the difference, right. The ancient city of Makkah would finish at Masjid Artesia. That's where we go. The modern city of Mecca Masjid it shows like almost downtown in some places, right? No problem. So you just take the taxi, come back in and you do your ombre over there. Question over here.
What is the best route to be recited? The best guru to be recited is the full sila Ibrahim ear Allahumma Salli ala Muhammad Ali Mohammedan Kumar Selita level Rahim Allah Ibrahim Allahumma barik ala Muhammad Anwar the Adi Mohammedan Kumar Baraka level him Laila Ali Brahimi Nick Hamid Majeed, the full Salah Ibrahimi This is the best, but if you just say Allahumma Salli ala Mohamed Salah is and this is the minimum it is also allowed all of this is is
do we make dua during the site? Yes, I said you do make dua Oh you mean during the site? Yes, walking during the site? Yes. Dua vicar Quran, our Prophet Sall Allahu alayhi wa sallam said
the Tawaf
is like the Salah, except that ALLAH has allowed you to speak during the tawaf. So whoever is going to speak, speak something that is good. Okay, so you are allowed to speak during tawaf and sorry, you may have a conversation that okay, where do you want to go? Do you want to stop here? Stop for water for somebody. Let's talk for Zumba. But don't just answer your cell phone and have a business call during tawaf. Okay. Don't gupshup doing say that's what the President said. Throw off and say you may speak but if you must speak speak something good. So it is hello to speak any logistics? What time do you want to take a break? You know, let's just stop here for a while. All of it is
fine. And you know, questions? If I'm with you, you want to ask a question, no problem. But don't waste your time with a casual conversation during the sacred ceremony and sacred ritual. Be careful of this. Question here.
Sister wants to do ombre for deceased father is her first camera. So this is your first camera. Your first Omaha should be for yourself. When you enter the home with us is for yourself. You get out of your home, take a break. Go to sleep the next day.
or even the day after that were in Makkah for three and a half days whenever you know you want and if you're alone sister that I encourage you to go with another sister or brother just so that in case you get lost or something don't go alone, just go with somebody take the taxi to muster that Isha. And in the same taxi come back You don't even need to get off right? Just tell the taxi everybody. Everybody knows all taxi drivers. No, you just say Monsieur de Aisha, and back to the haram. Simple as that he'll give you a price. And if you'd like to take it, if not barter it down because bartering is all. We're going to Middle East now bartering is all part of the bargain. Don't
take the first one he gives you. Because he might say $50 No, no, no. 20 No. So back and forth. You know bartering better than me. 200 is good brother.
forgot the question. We'll come back to is good, how many three of yours we'll get one after the other all three of us together, then I'll answer all three, go ahead.
Obviously, the more you do it, the better it is. So if you do one for both, that's giving half to each. If you want to do that, that's fine. And if you do one for each that is doing one full so it's all allowed. It's all nothing anyway, it's not wajib is just a matter of how much energy do you have. Really that's what it boils down to
between the tawaf and sorry, you may take a break as long as you want but you're not going to exit Iran. But if you're tired, you may sit for an hour you may even go to sleep and stood aside the next day if you get tired, but you will be in the State of Iran that's the only thing good
know Omura cannot be done on behalf of the living
Hajj can be done on behalf of the living if they are not able to come for Hajj and it is their wajib Hajj then yes, but O'Meara is not wajib anyway or Omura is not wajib so you do not do Omura on behalf of a living person, you do ombre as a gift to the deceased okay sisters, any questions? So inshallah we are done from our side, go ahead.
So, this is a common question, when you see the kava for the first time is there any specific dua
nothing has been narrated from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but it is narrated from some of the early scholars that when they saw the kava for the first time, they would just stop and make dua. So, whoever does this is good. And whoever does not do it is also good because our profit system would walk straight in is to start with off, but it's an emotional thing. This is this is not a science, it's an art like you're walking in and some people are excited to do the toe off and make dua good, and others are just so overwhelmed. They're like I need to stop and take it in whatever you want to do. No problem it's all good inshallah you remember your question brothers good
so how much money is a very personal question we're not talking about shopping money that's completely separate.
So we have breakfast and dinner every day. So you literally only have lunch if you even want to get it because we're so excited and what not even lunch so lunches 1520 idea which is three $4 per person. And you want to have at least a few 100 as a emergency and whatnot. I would honestly think that two $300 as a necessary necessary amount to spend. And then to 300 as a safety should be enough per person per person. This is not including not including what Shopping. Shopping is you ask the wife that that's not that's not you don't go through me. Shiva is for the wife side note from me. Okay. Yes, go ahead. Yes.
Yeah, we're gonna go over that everyday. Inshallah last questions we will hand over Yes. Bismillah.
Yes, so if you're able to do tawaf every time you enter the masjid, that's great. But realistically, that is not possible because of the rush. So if you're not able to do tawaf, which I'm not going to do, you cannot, you're going to go to the masjid at least seven times a day, five times a day, at least five times a day for the salah. You cannot do tawaf every time. So in that case, you pray to Dhaka instead. Okay. Very quick question is can we use safety pins for a haram? Yes. Can small boys wear a haram? Yes. But you don't have to be that strict with them if they're built for Bala. That's all
Okay if they break some of the rules around no big deal. Can women carry a purse during tawaf? Of course men can carry carry something as well. It's nothing wrong with carrying something you may carry it not a problem. Any advice about children with me and preparations I need.
Children going for Umrah and Hajj is a very good experience. A lady came to the process and lifted up a baby and said, Yeah rasool Allah is the reward for the baby for Hajj. Is there Hajj? Sorry, sorry, the question was, is there hajj for the baby? And the Prophet has said yes, and you shall get his reward, meaning you're the one that has to carry the baby, you're the one that has to sacrifice your time. So you're gonna get the reward for you know, all that you have to do so good. I like it that you take your children I remember going to the hat on when I was a child. No doubt it had an impact on me so many times we would go I've taken my kids as well. It's very good you take your kids
and obviously eight year old nine year old don't expect them to be all perfect don't expect them to live up to all of the rulings of Iran, any their children they're not even obliged to be lenient with them. The goal is you allow them to be in the vicinity of the home see the caliber and the main thing I would do as a personal thing and I did this with my kids as well filled them with the stories of Ibrahim and Sarra and a smile I mean Sahaja and a smile that's the whole point you explain to them in Medina the Stories of the Prophets are some you need to make the stories real for them. So keep on explaining to them what happened over here and inshallah it's a good thing. I don't
really have any other thing other than yes make sure you have lots of snacks, lots of snacks for the kids because sometimes they get tired and hungry and you don't have anything handy so there is only there can say inshallah with this I don't know we can go forever but I need to stop at four o'clock and you need to sorry you need to have
Yeah, but Chad has already said
he cannot ride but the father can ride
and if the father rides and the child doesn't the child is going to cry. So I wouldn't advise the father to ride the scooter okay
so we're going to have those on for that sir. And the comma is four o'clock. So you all stay seated here and then the next phase is to go over the documents some logistics your and all the other things and we also have some gift from the travel agent as a ROM and as well as
some of the things that we have for the for the for the group, since we only have 15 minutes before the comma so
they will go over than what we have on each of the packages so each family will receive a package it will have your documents everything in it. I'm sure that we may have more questions and things like that
so we can take them into the multipurpose hall after the Salah
slowly come
