Salam Alikum zakat Allah had Marcella for the beautiful rod. Allah what Allah what Allahu Akbar La ilaha illa Allah Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah. So inshallah we'll start in few minutes and but before that just a quick announcement in sha Allah, as you can see on your screen. I think right now I see all of us, but there was a QR code for the epic official announcement group. So as you know, hamdulillah there are so many programs going on an epic at any given week. On the weekend, we have more than three or four programs every single weekend. Let me ask you, how many of you know that epic has an epic funeral service? Raise your hand if you know about epic funeral service? Okay, so
about 25% of you raise your hand?
How many of you know that we have to Sunday school sessions morning and evening? Look, okay, so what 10% Do you know the summer school that we had this year, we had more than 150 seats. And they got filled up in 10 minutes, in 10 minutes. And we got so many emails and requests to open up more seats, and many people were not aware. So they wanted to make sure that they are aware of epic programs. So what we have done even though we have more than 10,000 email addresses that we send out these emails, whenever there is a program, we send out the emails. I know many of us in today's world, we like text messages, right? We like WhatsApp, we like something to be texted. And many of
us we don't even open our emails, we did a look at the statistics, we had less than 15% of us who open our emails. So that tells us that most of us we want a different kind of communication on more timely basis. So what we have done we have created a simple Whatsapp group one big group for epic management to let you know all of our programs, what's happening our schools our services, because as you know Alhamdulillah we are proud to say that epic provides from cradle to grave services all the way from children all the way to the funeral. Like I said our funeral service from sending email to the community picking up the body and also viewing janazah even we have a start or Imam Imam at
the mall to start they go to the burial ground so we provide an end to end funeral service for our community in the communities around us. So for all of that if you want to know what's going on and epic at any given time please go ahead and scan this QR code this way you will be inshallah be aware of what's happening at Epic on very timely basis and you will not miss any announcement in sha Allah Jazak Allah had eaten by

mahalo Slean Idaho Dean what oh Cody healthcare for your own. Dear Muslims. Allahu Akbar. Allah is indeed greater grander, more majestic than any other entity or being on this day of reads on this day of an autoharp. On this day of the hedge. Let us reminisce and think and remember, of the very person because of whom
All of these institutions and all of these celebrations have been instituted, and that is our father Ibrahim alayhis salam, our father Ibrahim alayhi salam who built the carrabba who legislated the Hajj by the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala who sacrificed or attempted to sacrifice and then Allah subhanho wa Taala blessed him with an old ear. All of these we walk in the footsteps of Ibrahim alayhis salam. So in today's brief chutzpah as we celebrate the legacy of Ibrahim alayhis salam, I want to remind myself and all of you have three simple facts from his life and times three simple moralities and legacies that we should keep in mind. Point number one brothers and sisters,
we learn from the story of Ibrahim alayhis salam, the legacy of Ibrahim alayhis salam. When Ibrahim stood up and preached the Kalima and opposed his people, there was no other Muslim on Earth other than him. And Allah subhana wa Tada gave him the courage and Allah protected him and ALLAH blessed him. Realize from this truth is not known from numbers, majority votes does not mean it is correct. We live in a time we live in a society where religion is rejected, where God is mocked, where morality is made fun of. And it doesn't matter how many people reject religion, it shall remain true. It doesn't matter how many people mock the religion of Islam, how many people believe in
immoral lifestyles, truth is above the majority opinion. And truth does not change from era to time to place. So we learn from the story of Ibrahim alayhis salam that we need to follow the truth regardless of what society around us says, And when we follow the truth. And when we stand up and preach the truth, Allah subhanho wa Taala will bless us. The second lesson we learn from the story of Ibrahim alayhis salam is that when we give up something for the sake of Allah, when we obey the commandments of Allah when we follow the Sharia of Allah subhanho wa taala. Even if there is some sacrifice, in the long term, we will gain much more than what we gave up when we live ethical,
moral, Islamic lifestyles, when we obey what Allah has told us to obey. Allah will bless us in this world before he will bless us in the next world. We learned this from Ibrahim alayhis salam. When Ibrahim wanted progeny he wanted children and he lived 100 years before Allah blessed him with a smile and then with his house. And when ALLAH blessed him with his smile as an old man, Allah azza wa jal gave him a commandment that Oh, Ibrahim, show me your love sacrificed this child and Ibrahim immediately implemented or attempted to implement the command and it was that spirit of obedience to Allah. It was that spirit of I hear and I obey when Ibrahim alayhis salam attempted to obey Allah.
Allah not only spared him his smile, Allah blessed him with his house, Allah not only gave him two children, but every single prophet after Ibrahim was from the children of Ibrahim, Allah did not only give him progeny, but all civilizations, the Abrahamic civilizations Judaism, Islam, Christianity, over half of the world's population, admire and respect Ibrahim alayhis salam, when he sacrificed for the sake of Allah when he obeyed the commandments of Allah, He did not suffer. Allah gave him this dunya and Allah gave him the Ark era. So two brothers and sisters, it's difficult to live ethical lives and our times it's difficult to think about Halal earning, it's difficult to live
morally upright lives. But when we choose to submit to Allah when we hear and we obey, then we shall taste the fruits of that obedience in this world before we taste them in the hereafter. Our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, whether it is haram money, whether it is haram pleasure, whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will give him better than what he gave up. So dear brothers and sisters, learn from the story of Ibrahim sacrifice your desire to sacrifice what you want to do, if it's not allowed to do and Allah will bless you with more than you could ever have
imagined. And the third and final lesson we learned from the story of Ibrahim alayhis salam. Throughout the entire story, we learned that Ibrahim wasn't just a paragon of virtue because he worshipped Allah because he constantly made dua because he built the kava because he was a regular person who prayed and fasted. Not only was he Paragon because of this, but also because of his manners and a clap because of his compassion because of his kindness because of the way he treated his father in the face of persecution because of his warmness of the heart even for the people whom Allah said I'm going to destroy even those people. Ibrahim begged and pleaded and Allah said his
heart was full
Love compassion Ibrahim Allah wa who had him so we learned brothers and sisters that Islam is built upon two simple fundamental pillars. Number one, worship Allah. And number two be good to the people. Ibrahim summarizes what it means to be a believer. Do your rituals pray your prayers fast the month of Ramadan gives God attempt to go for Hajj if you haven't been do the rituals, but also make sure you live ethical lives. Make sure you live like a family. If you're a father, be a father to your children. If you're a mother, be a mother to your children. If you're a son or daughter, fulfill your family responsibilities like Ibrahim did in broader society, give back and be
compassionate like Ibrahim was treat people the way you want to be treated. This is an essential requirement to be Muslim. It is not good enough to just do the rituals. You must also have a good relationship with people and live lives and give back to people the way you want to be treated. We learn this from the story of Ibrahim alayhis salaam, Islam is very simple brothers and sisters worship Allah alone and be good to the people and you shall enter for those that Allah dear Muslims, as we conclude our chutzpah, it is imperative that we simply take a step back and look at the global situation. Every year I remind myself and all of you of the blessings given to us that have been
deprived of other people as we speak. So many of our brothers and sisters are under persecution under lock in jail so many of them cannot even celebrate Eid because their governments have done this celebration. I've read so many of them they even if they're able to celebrate how will they be happy when their families have been torn apart when they're worried about Civil War when bombs are falling when they don't have food to eat. The least that we can do when we look at the global situation is to feel a sense of genuine appreciation to Allah genuine happiness that Allah azza wa jal has given us what he's given us. And that appreciation comes with responsibilities to live as
best as we can. And to care about our brothers and sisters around the world. Brothers and sisters, today is the day of read celebrate this day. It is a Day of Happiness. It is a day of joy. Make sure your families appreciate this day make sure you shower them with love. Make sure you make this day special in the children's memories. Because after you're gone, you want your children to remember this day so that they can maintain our rituals maintain our religion maintained our happiness for many generations to come. Dear Muslims protect your religion because if you don't protect it, nobody else will protect your families because if you don't protect your family, there's nothing left
protect what is most sacred to you. And that is your religion and what Allah has given you and asked for this dunya it comes in it goes don't make it your priority. Allah subhana wa Tada will give you more if you give up for the sake of Allah, dear Muslims be righteous as much as you can be righteous as much as you can. If you fall short repent to Allah subhana wa Tada and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, Allahumma and NIDA and for aminu, raise your hands up to Allah we're going to make dua to Allah Yeah, how you yatta yatta yatta generally when the Quran yah semi da Oh Allah we ask you on this blessing and sacred day, oh Allah that you forgive all of our sins of Allah, O Allah cause this
e to be in need of happiness of Allah, O Allah grant us and our families and our loved ones and the entire Ummah joy and happiness of Allah. Oh Allah accept our meager deeds, Oh Allah, Oh Allah forgive all of our sins, Oh Allah, Allah, Allah make our hearts pure and righteous of Allah. O Allah grant us the best of this world and the best of the next world. Oh Allah, Oh Allah, Allah, our children to be of those who maintain the calcium after us. So Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah wa send our progeny to be of those who establish the salah, to be of those who pray regularly to be of those who fast the month of Ramadan to be of those who maintain your rituals to be of those who have the best
of a cloud of Allah guide us and our children after us to have the best of manners for none can guide the other other than you and Oh ALLAH avert from us all negative matters. All evil matters from us in our progeny. Oh Allah, we ask You for the best of this world and the best of the next world and to be resurrected with the righteous and the solder Hain Robin Artina dunya hacer una or Phil Accra to Hasina working either ba na Reba de la Brothers and Sisters in Islam.
