And why is that?
Because the hadith is about how magnificent the
affair of the believer is. Hadith number 27,
then the other
In this hadith, the messenger of Allah sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam,
he's saying,
how wonderful
is the case of a believer. Like how
astonishing,
how pleasing,
how amazing,
like how how beautiful that I fear the
believer.
And he says, how so,
There is good for him in everything.
There is good for him in everything
and this applies only
to a believer.
Because if you believe in Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala
and you believe in the Qadr of Allah,
if you believe that this life is just
a test no more. If you believe that
no matter what happens, Allah has wisdom in
it. If you can if you believe in
all of that,
definitely you will find good in everything. So
he explained that
If prosperity
attends him,
he expresses great gratitude to Allah and that
is good for him.
And if adversity befalls him, he endures it
he endures it patiently
and that is better for him.
So what does that
mean? Means that as a Muslim, as a
believer, I am expected, I am required to
respond
always responsibly
and to
behave in a way
that no matter what befalls me, the grace
is is the the the the gratitude is
to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala forever happens.
And we mentioned in many of our lectures
before.
How your iman as a believer is between
two things.
Between being patient
against adversities
and being grateful towards prosperities.
So you always have your heart between these
two matters. And subhanahu, a true believer is
the one that when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
gives them so much, what do they think
about this?
A blessing from Allah,
and it's still a test. As Allah says,
we're gonna try you with that which is
difficult, like adversities, and also with prosperity
as a mean of fitna for which means
trials.
So even the prosperity we go through is
also trial.
It's not like you're escaping the the the
test. No. It's part of the trial as
well too. So as a believer,
I've always think about this.
If Allah
sends me prosperity my way, I need to
be grateful to Allah Azzawal for this namah,
for this blessing, All the time. And we
talked about this for a little bit, I
tell in my class actually before,
shukr, you do the gratitude how? With your
tongue,
by always expressing Alhamdulillah. Ashukul Alhamdulillah.
By your heart, which have this kind of
satisfaction with
and blessing and rida, have this in your
heart. And through your actions as well too,
by sharing and giving and so on. So
it's very important to have this gratitude.
And being patient,
if Allah subhanahu wa ta test you with
otherwise.
Can be tested in many different ways.
Tested with your with your marriage,
with your
job, with your personal health,
the situation.

the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam again,
he said that's it's part of the test.
So we all have our own ways of
going through that, subhanAllah. Not not all of
us,
have it the same. And subhan, many, many
of us, when they think of their own
test,
they think that they are the only ones
who's going through difficulties and hardships.
But if you try even to think of
or comparing what you go through with other
people's other situation,
you will just need to be quiet
and say, Alhamdulillah,
at least I'm not being tested with my
health.
Alhamdulillah, I'm not being tested with my safety
and security.
I'm not being tested with my family.
People have different test. And the believer always
remember that look,
this because it happened,
it meant to happen,
and Allah wills it.
Not necessarily he loves he loves it, but
he wills for this to happen as part
of the test. And it's my job to
pass this test whether by being grateful
in the face of prosperity
or being, of course, you know, patient in
the face of adversity.
Finally, if you guys remember,
we said that Ibn Kaib he says,
against the Qadr of Allah when Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala was to test people with matters.
People they have,
they respond differently
and Ibn Qayim said they go through 4
phases.
Some people they go through a Tasakhut,
means whining and crying about it and complaining
and like this spread all over the world.
He said this is haram.
Especially when they say things are considered haram.
Like saying, complain about Allah
like why me,
You Allah just, you know, I'm the good
guy, I'm the good girl. So complaining about
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and that is prohibited.
That's called the saqhb.
The second
he says called as Sabr.
As Sabr is when you
withhold yourself and restraining yourself
from saying or doing something displeasing to Allah
Even though
your heart is not accepting it,
Like you're not happy with it, you're probably
upset,
but you you keep your mouth, you know,
under control.
And that is the meaning of now sabr
over here, that's the bare minimum.
As the prophet mentioned when he was holding
his son
and he was crying.
So how would they point that to him?
He said this is mercy. And then
says
like we might shed tears over this manner
but and our heart are in so much
grief,
but our tongues will say nothing except that
which most pleasant to Allah
and to a departure of Ibrahim,
we're in complete sadness. Like we can't stop
this as a father of Allah, but we
say nothing but most pleasing to Allah
So that's
sabr. The He said, this is the bare
minimum, that's obligatory.
The third level, he says it's called
That's when you bring satisfaction and contentment.
It's not just like you stay quiet,
you do nothing,
instead your heart is at ease with Allah's
judgment.
I know this is from Allah, so I'm
okay.
So you don't complain,
but at the same time you don't go
out and celebrate. You're just content with Allah's
Qadr here. Now need to keep in mind
that doesn't mean you cannot change the Qadr
of Allah by the other Qadr of Allah.
So if you're content with what happened, doesn't
mean you cannot go and seek, you know,
to change the circumstances
by all possible means.
So that's parabarud.
Now the 4th category which is the highest
one,
Now that's the the the station of gratitude.
Can you imagine?
You're grateful even though you see destruction all
around you, catastrophes around you. Allah, the manifestation
of this is in today.
Allah make it easy for the people.
They are the manifestation of this man.
How many times I've seen people in the
face of destruction
and all what they say is what?
This is just dunya.
Allah will give us better than that. Like
wow, how can people in the face of
such atrocity,
they have this sense of, you know, subhanAllah,
you need comfort and and satisfaction and and
peace and tranquility.
That's the meaning of this hadith.
Only a true believer,
only a true believer will be in such
situation, such condition.
So make sure that you keep your mind
inshallah and heart attached to that. That may
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make us among the
true believers, You're abilalameen.
Among those who always always face up to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala with gratitude. And we
ask Allah Subhanahu to keep our heart content
and all the peace and tranquility that comes
from him Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. We Allah protect
us from any harm.
We ask Allah to protect our brothers and
sisters,
We ask Allah to protect them, You Rabbi
Alamin. We ask Allah, Subhanahu, to bring them
with them victory, You Allah, You Rabbi Alamin.
Protect their households, their livelihood, their children, their
their their their massage, their communities, You
Allah And we ask Allah
to protect our young men and women who
are in campus on the campus around the
country.
We ask God to keep them safe
And keep them firm under iman and their
belief in justice. We ask Allah to
shelter them from any evil and any wrongdoing
against them, You're a man.
