You can't hear?
Okay, can you guys check the speakers in
the women's section?
Jazakallah khair.
So the speakers in the women's section, please.
Alhamdulillah rabbil alameen, salallahu wasalam wa baraka nabiyyin
wa muhammadin wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa
salam tasliman kathira thumma ma ba'di ma min
nawi rahim wa allahu ta'ala Hadith number
83 in yaqeen wa tawakkul, certainty and reliance
on Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
If you guys remember, the previous hadith we
talked about having tawakkul on Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala as you leave your house.
Because we said usually you need to have
that yaqeen, that certainty in Allah azza wa
jal and having reliance on Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala, usually in your most vulnerable moments.
And one of those moments of vulnerability is
when you walk out of your house.
You walk out of your own familiar place,
safety, and you feel that you're vulnerable right
now.
So the dua that we learned last time
was ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, Ya
Allah, in your name, I rely on you,
I seek refuge with you from being led
astray or go astray or I slip in
my way or even become a wrong somebody,
someone wrongs me.
We learned that dua.
The second hadith here right now has something
unique.
It's the same thing when you leave the
house, but now you seek refuge with Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala because you want to
be protected from somebody or something in particular.
And that is the shaitan.
One of the biggest vulnerabilities for us as
a jama'at is being exposed to whom?
The shaitan.
One of the biggest vulnerabilities is when you
become right now attacked by the shaitan and
you have no shield, no protection.
Can you imagine, jama'at, what can happen
to you?
May Allah protect us from the shaitan, Ya
Rabb al-alameen.
The shaitan, when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
told him to leave jannah, he said, you
know what, leave.
What did he say?
He said, my lord, give me the chance
to prove to you that this creation is
not worthy of the privilege that you give
him.
And I'll prove it to you.
And he says, if you give me that,
I promise you that I shall come to
them from the front, from the back, from
the right, from the left, from underneath their
feet.
And you won't find the majority to be
grateful to you.
So that's the promise of the shaitan.
So it's basically he's always, always taking advantage
of your weakness, your vulnerability to lead us
astray.
And here, when we leave the house, it's
one of those very vulnerable moments.
So the Prophet ﷺ has given us this
dua exclusively right now to seek that protection
from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala against the
shaitan.
In this dua, the Prophet ﷺ says that
whosoever says upon leaving the house, Bismillah, in
the name of Allah, and I trust in
Allah, there is no might and no power
to resist evil but in Allah, then he
will be told or be said to him,
you are guided, defended and protected.
The devil will go far away from you,
from this individual.
So this dua, very simple, the short version
of what we learned last time, the short
version.
The short version here is to say, Bismillah,
I trust in Allah, there is no might
and no power to resist evil but in
Allah.
As simple as that.
You will be told, you will be told,
hudit, which means you are going to be
guided.
Allah will guide your heart to that which
is right.
Wakufit, Allah will be sufficient for you.
He will take care of your affairs.
Wa wuqit, you shall be guarded and protected,
which means from whatever evil of the shaitan,
and specifically, wa tanaha anhu shaitan, shaitan kind
of like stays away from you.
As if making that dua, the moment you
get out of the house, you make that
dua, it's like an aura shields you.
Imagine this magnetic field, and as you walk,
the shaitan says, oh, I can't come near
this.
I'll be zapped if I come near this
individual.
So keep the shaitan on their toes, all
the time.
So every time you come out of the
house, you make that dua, and you'll be
shielded and protected.
And when you come back home, inshallah, you
make us another dua we're going to talk
about later.
But for now, when we leave the house,
we need that protection.
So make sure to make that dua.
So let's make this dua together inshallah, three
times.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guide us,
protect us, shield us, ya rabbal alameen, and
keep the shaitan far away from us.
Allahumma ameen.
Any questions, jama'at?
Yes?
So the hadith says, that it will be
said to him.
Now who says that to him?
Or maybe you don't have to hear it,
but at least someone will say to you
while you walk, says, don't worry about it,
you've been protected, you'll be guided, you'll be
shielded, and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will
protect you from the shaitan, wallahu a'lam.
Subhanakallah wa bihamdik, ashara lant astaghfirullah wa atubu
ilayk.
Ahlan wa sahlan.
