The name tuba is mentioned in the Holy
Quran verse 29 as follows,
those who believe and whose hearts find satisfaction in the
remembrance of Allah. For without doubt, in the
remembrance of Allah righteousness is every
blessedness.
Is,
Yeah, Ali,
greet everyone
with
the most beautiful Greeting, the greeting of Islam, as well as the
greeting of Jannah, as salaam, Warahmatullah, wabarakatu,
Alhamdulillah, we thank and praise Allah Jalla, jalala, who is
afforded us this opportunity, Once again, being here
in this beautiful house of Allah, Tabarak, awata Allah, knowing that
Allah has gazed upon us is an amazing feeling. Being in Allah's
house at this hour with Allah has made incumbent upon every male and
Masha Allah, some of our females also. They come and they join this
beautiful hour of Jumah. Allah made it incumbent upon us as
males. And can you imagine the barakah that Allah is descended
upon us just that gaze of Allah Tala say, those are the ones that
I'm choosing today, and I accept them that they will fulfill the
duty of Jummah Wallahi. There are many out there. They walking
around. They are oblivious of the fact even that is Jummah, even
though they have Iman,
how fortunate we are that we are accepted by Allah. Sometimes, you
know, we must be reminded about this, because every week we go to
Juma, it becomes a monotonous feeling. It's just, I have to go.
But Wallahi, Allah gazed upon us. Allahu taala, in his infinite
mercy, looked at us with mercy and say that you are the one my
servant did I accept for Juma?
And we are in a month Subhanallah, and we start off by saying, Allah,
umm, abari, Klab, Ya Allah, descend your blessings upon us in
this in this month of Raja.
Ya Allah, I don't think we've done justice. Ya Ra, forgive us for our
shortcomings. This is the month which you connect to your name, ya
rab, through your the words of your messenger, sallAllahu, alas,
the Sunnah of this month is what the Sunnah of the month of Rajab
is, whereby Rasulullah sallallahu, Sallam mentions, he says that this
is the preparation for Ramadan to come.
Who of us really took the time during the month of Rajab to
prepare ourselves for the month of Ramadan to come.
Some of us will just accept Ramadan. Why? Because the month
has entered, and when Ramadan except again, we are back to our
norm. This is not what Ramadan is about. That's why Allah and His
Messenger salah. Salah gives us time.
When you enter this month, you must be perfect for this month.
You have to fulfill the duties of Allah perfectly in this month.
Why? Allah gave us two months to prepare for it.
We prepare for our mashaAllah matriculants. They just passed.
How long did they prepare for that pass rate? And we were honored to
see some of our learners, six distinctions, six as and
mashaAllah. This is beautiful. Why? But the amount of preparation
they had to go into that. But somehow, for the month of Ramadan,
is like now, what? Inshallah, every year I fast, it's going to
be the same. This year. Can tell you, brothers, it's going to be
very hot. This year, not going to be the same.
Inshallah, it will be easy, I mean, but we know we're lying to
ourselves. We're.
Course, nobody like I said, wants to be hungry. When you are hungry,
we turn angry, and Allah protect us, our wife just say something in
La ilaha illallah, why this one could have been someone else. And
I know I had somebody else in mind, but Allah gave me this one.
I la illallah, no, we don't want to do that.
You know, what we want to do is we want to be prepared for this month
that Allah has given to his ummah, the ummah of Sayyidina, Muhammad,
sallAllahu, alayhi said, and rasulallah is about to come,
what we have should have done in the month of rajap is prepare,
preparation for the month of Ramadan, because that's the Sunnah
of the month. That is what the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam
has done. Increased in what in sadaqah, increased in tilawa of
the Quran, increased in haira, increased in being good to his
family. Increase in every aspect of good that you can find. You
will find this in the life of Muhammad Sallallahu sallam, during
the month of Rajab, he increased in everything. What did we
increase in? Let us take stock al Qaeda, sumandan and the Prophet
alayhi, salatu wa salaam mentions that the intelligent being is the
one that takes stock of himself. He will ask himself, what did I do
to improve myself? What did I do during the month of Rajab? That
was different to last year's Rajab?
You know? We know that your man, the two days of a believer, of a
mukmin, it is never the same, never rasulallah. If it so, is
then raw Mahbub, then he will be a loser at the end of the day, two
days of a believer cannot be the same. Today is like this. Tomorrow
must be better,
and the day after that must be better, and the day after that
must be better. So if we really live the way Muhammad SAW, is
describing to us how we should live in this Hadi, two days of a
believer, can never be the same. We should have been all saints
sitting here. We will be awliya walking. Awliya, a living
takhawali, susala, sebahan, Allah, and I see many living takhawali,
Allahu, taala, increase, you Amin ya rapa lanit, but this is you.
Know, the words of Muhammad SAW should not be kept in such a low
standard. When we hear the Prophet SAW, Salam say, we must be
attentive. Allahu Akbar, the greatest of mankind, Allah taala's
Beloved, is talking to us. What must we do? What? What? What? What
does he want from us? SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam, and then we
should try our best to execute what he is requesting from us that
is important. Jamaat wisdom. Rajap is a month of change. Rajab is a
month of istifar,
al Murali wa Hanni wa tuba Ali. Did I do throughout the month of
Rajab? The least that I could have done is 70 times in the morning
and 70 times times in the evening. But it will be better for me to do
more
every opportunity I find myself with i What? What do I say? Rabbi
Feli wa ramni wa tub Ali, Oh Allah, forgive me. Allah, your
mercy upon me and accept my Toba. That is such a reminder that every
time I say Watu ba alai, I will be reminded I must go and perform to
rakat Walla, you are the one who, through your messenger, say, ata,
Ibu, Mina, them, Kamala, dambala, and the tears will roll from my
eyes. Ya Allah, I've done so much wrong,
but you say, if I turn to you in sincerity, Arab, it will be as if
that never happened. May Allah remove all the bad that we have
done, all our shortcomings, Amin arapalami, but the fact and the
point is that this is the Sunnah month where we should prepare for
Ramadan.
Two months Allah give us. We have absolutely no excuse. Jamal
Muslim, last week, we've heard we are so fortunate
as an ummah to live in this time. Why, if you look at Muhammad,
sallAllahu, alayhi, salam, he had Amul huzan, he had a year of grief
and sadness. Why he lost loved ones, those who stood by his side
and he grieved. And what did Allah do? Allah test him with what now
you alone? Muhammad SAW No. Wahi comes. Jibreel will not even come
and visit you. For so long that Rasulullah Sallam started to feel
right that Allah has forsaken him. Jala jalalu, is it? Is it that
Allah has forsaken Muhammad SAW never kalau, Allah, it will never
happen.
And that feeling that you feel when you say that, I don't know
how you feel, because it wants to bring tears to my eyes when you
speak about Muhammad Sallam in this manner, he is the beloved of
Allah. For him to have felt that Allah has forsaken me, Jamaat al
Muslim. Can't we even equate our tests and our trials with Muhammad
Sallallahu, alayhi salam's trials
never kala
can't happen. Do I have a wife? She will probably nail me for
this. But in one blow, Allah Tyler took away five of her family
members,
grandfather, aunties, all just in one shop. They were gone. What
would we.
Say, ya ashamed, Allah, make it easy. That's what we said.
Muhammad Rasulullah sallam, his father was taken away before he
was born. His mother was taken away at the tender age of six
years old. Then he's with his grandfather, and just as he grows
in this beautiful relationship with his grandfather, in two
years, Allah * away his grandfather, also, no one. Now, he
goes to his uncle, Abu Talib, who is a pillar of strength for him.
And just so suddenly, Abu Talib goes away, and he has a wife that
you are, Allah. He loved us so much in the same year, Allah takes
her also, Allah to Allah
says, you will stand alone, Muhammad, sallAllahu. But what
must you remember
in Allah Allah is with you. Allah is with us. Allah is there for
you. No one else is there for you. Allah is the one that look after
you. So the trials and tribulations that we are going
through, think about Muhammad, sallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam.
You went through extreme difficulty.
Nobody is telling us. You are exiled. You can't live here in
Cape Town. What's happening? Allah, Allah protect us a certain
particular party, political party, this must be a sovereign state.
Must be our own. Allah, may Allah protect us from this nonsense. Man
Wallahi, jamatic Muslim, mean the world belong to who
to Allah.
The world belong to Allah. And we must understand that as Muslims,
we are not we don't fear nothing. We don't fear your nonsense and
whatever you put out there in the media. We don't fear that. But how
is it going to be if we don't fear that? If we are proper believers
in Allah, we are the true worshippers of Allah, we change
our lives for Allah. We abide by the laws of Allah, like Muhammad,
sallAllahu, alaihi, salam, what does Allah say in ample times in
the Quran, la tahoth, don't fear. Wala Taha,
don't fear. Wala Tah Zanu, don't grieve. Allahu. Taala mentioned
this all over the Quran to who to us as believers, when Allah tell
us, don't fear, when Allah tell us, Don't grieve, don't be sad,
never Allah tell us is this is not for you. You have Allah,
the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
Wali lahi, mera Sama, WA TI, Wa La the Lord to whom the inheritance
belongs to Allah, who Taala
will Sama, WA ti Wa ma fil AR, Allahu, Taala is the Owner of the
Heavens and Allah, Taala is the owner of the earth and whatever is
within it. Wala tahafah, wala ATA Zanu. But Allah says, There's glad
tiring for you. What? Abu Jannah? But there's something that I can
give you glad tidings about that you will get Jannah. You will get
Jannah. And when Allah makes a promise in Allah, you fool me.
AAD, your Lord, and my Lord can never turn back on his promise.
Jala, jalalu. How come it is that Muslims still fear they fear we
Allah. We fear for our lives. We fear for the lives of our
children. Why is it because of the weakness of our faith, the
weakness of our Imaan,
the moment we get into that
Allah is with me, and Allah is the Protector of me, and Allah is the
Protector of my family, and Allah knows who is truthful, and Allah
knows who is not truthful. Allahu Akbar. What fear will be in our
hearts,
but politics the West, you know it is. It's been designed in such a
fashion, in such a way, that humans must fear and what must we
fear? We must fear the creation, except, except the Creator. How
can we even fear the creation of Allah? What can they do to us?
They can only give us shahada in this world. They can give us
difficulty in this world, yah. But what you going to do in the
akhirah? There is something waiting for you also. But Allah
speak to us about that. Go through that no problem. Go through the
trials. Your prophet had it easy. Our Prophet, sallam, had life
easy. Nah, never.
But Allah said, WA ABA, Shiro bir, Jannah, that you have glad
tidings, Muhammad, and your ummah have glad tidings, Muhammad, so
Salam, you will get Jannah.
This is good inspiration for us from whom, from our divine Allahu,
taala, the Lord of the world, is telling us this, what do you fear?
What do we fear? We make effortless so that tick in the box
that you make think about it before you make it. Now,
we all know, you know we are, we are not. I'm not a political
person. But you know, subhanAllah, if you look how things go, it
makes you think, no, no, we can't. Some things are just not. It's not
going to work for us if we're going to do this. You do this,
it's going to be to our own detriment. And Allah protect us,
and Allah allow us that that cross that we make as Muslims this year
will be to the benefit of the Muslim ummah,
because Wallahi, if it is to the benefit of the Muslim ummah, even
the non Muslims will benefit from that. Believe that.
It.
As a Muslim, believe that
never, ever sell yourself short. We are believers, and we know that
Allah is in control of everything.
So we said, how Fortunate are we to live in this time, saying
things that Muhammad saw him has tolerated in his lifetime. Similar
things is happening here. Our Palestinian brothers are living it
literally. We observe it literally, which is, you know, I
don't know what to say. What is more tormentful? Because they are
happy. They, if they close their eyes, shahada,
immediate Jannah, they are in the highest levels of Jannah. They
will be and they will dwell in that Amin. We are witnessing it.
It's tormentful for us. Everybody saw what happened this morning.
The voice clip of the little girl sitting in a car, mother, father,
family members in the same car, tankers around her,
shooting everybody she's laying now, already, I think over 40
hours, over 50 hours with corpse. Everybody's dead. Only thing she
has Lifeline is the phone, speaking to people. They're
speaking to her for three hours, or this morning, I heard for three
hours already, just to calm her down, how to mental is that for a
girl, a little girl, I think she's about seven or eight years old, if
I'm not mistaken,
how is her life going to be normal
if she leaves there? Only thing that she will remember is all the
dead bodies around them, my mother, my father, my auntie, my
sisters. Yeah, this
is what you witness. And you know what the dogs? They don't think
nothing about it. They don't think nothing about it. They don't worry
who's in that car.
We must do a job. So we must also do that. We have a job. What is
our job? We are not dogs. We are ones to raise our hands to Allah.
We are ones to cry to Allah. We are ones to say, Ya Arab, you sent
the most merciful among us. How come there are people like this
that oppressed? Ya rab, you've proven to us in the past, those
who oppress they will never survive. Now is the time ya rab,
change the script of history now. Ya Allah, we want to witness this.
We want to see victory now. Ya rab, but how many times do we cry
for victory? How many of us stand late at night and cry? How many of
us stand for hours and cry? How many of us can only but raise our
hands and say, Oh, Allah, do this and do that, whether we are
present when we make that to our not? Ya rab, that is also a
question. When we speak, we must speak like Muhammad Sallallahu
when Badr took place the next day, la tidings was given to Muhammad,
saw you think Allah would have made him lost. He said, Ya Rabbi,
if this amount of Muslims, a small little amount of Muslims, are
going to die today, your name will never be heard on the earth. Allah
didn't know that. But
what did Rasulullah Sallam do? He did not feel content that My Allah
is with me. No problem tomorrow. We go fight and we will win. He
cried an entire night. He did that closer. Ay,
he showed Allah Arab, we need you. We are in need of your mercy.
We need to change this perception that is out there that people can
do as they please. Ya rab, this is for you, Allah. This is for your
deen to survive. What are we doing for Deen to survive?
Allahu, Akbar, jamati,
Muslim, Rasulullah, leave alone, losing all his family members.
Then he leaves his beloved home that he loves,
depending on maybe he can have an impact on those on the outskirts
of Makkah,
few kilometers away,
no cars, nothing walk in the heat of the sun. What did he do? What
was Muhammad Sallallahu sallam's hope that will work for for things
to change. Anybody knows,
what did he go and do in
Taif dawah? He
did not go and ask them, Do you guys have guns? You guys have
swords for me, we need to go and fight these people. They're
exiling me. They're killing my family. Didn't say that. What did
he say? He said, please believe in La ilaha illallah, Allah Illa.
Illallah, ILA illAllah. Ila illaun, say, Lala Ilala, you'll be
successful.
What is this? What gives you courage to do that
in knowing that these people don't even believe in Allah, this is
your success. La ilaha illallah, to rehoon, and
what did they do?
They mocked him. They tortured him. SallAllahu, alayhi wa sallam,
to be surprised, because why? He's a pure being. How come you can't
see La ilaha illallah, can't see that you will be successful if you
worship Allah. Why? What was the difference? On it, Iman, complete.
Iman true. Imam, ad No, Imaan,
but it Allah teaches
Muhammad. Saw him. You don't give hidayah Muhammad
as Ibn nas ayuttha Mu don't think just that because you say La
Ilaha, Illa.
Muhammad, we will not test you. You will go through heavy test
Muhammad.
Allah will test us. What makes us think that we can live a life just
of lavishness and everything will be good in our life if it happened
till now that you lived a beautiful life, may Allah increase
your Ameen. But know for certain
that this is the Lord of the world that says that you will be tested,
be ready for the test.
And how can we be ready for the test? If we understand that only
Allahu Taala does,
only allow Taala has the qudrah,
who knew Allah have the power
whatever he Jala jalalu He wants to do, he does. Nobody can
question him for that.
But if we live according to how the model he gave us, the manual
of the Quran and the practical manual of the Sunnah, and that is
sayna Muhammad SAW Salam, if we live according to that nothing
will be able to get us down.
You can * away my wealth, brother, that means nothing to me.
Alhamdulillah, Allah will sustain me, because he is the ultimate
Sustainer. That is what the believer would say.
But somebody whose Iman is weak, if somebody snatched away my
wealth, what would I say? Oh, ya rab, what am I going to do now?
What am I going to eat? What am I going to what am I going to tell
my wife?
So you got to go home
Allahu, Akbar, jamati, Muslim,
Rasulullah, at the end of Taif,
the most amazing, amazing, amazing conversation he had with Allah.
Say, oh, Allah, what
did we say? Allah, look at these animals. Look what they done to
me.
They told me he
did not say that.
Said inni, ashbu elay, oh, Allah, I complain to you now about what
Allah, my weakness has caused that. This has transpired my
weakness, my weakness. Who of us is going to speak like that?
Somebody hurt me, Ya Allah, is because of my weakness that that
person hurt me. Oh, Allah, guide him. Allah, if not him. Ya Allah,
guide his offspring. Who of us make dua like that? This is the
guidance that we received from Allah through Muhammad Sallallahu.
How many of us this is Iman? This is the Iman that we should yearn
to have.
But one thing that is positive, and this is what I want. This is
my message. My they say in every talk, there's a punchline. The
punchline today is what was the outcome of Muhammad Sallallahu,
alaihi salam, after all that torture, everything, what was it?
The flag of la ilaha illAllah. It was, it was Ali.
It blew high up in the sky.
Nobody today can say there was never an Islam. Everybody they
speak about Islam. Hey, these guys, you know, I must watch out
for them. And you know what happened? I went to go and
purchase something at p and A today, and amazingly, I had a
conversation between two people, and the one said, Do you know what
happened? But very angry, this building here
has now been taken over by this Muslims. Can you believe in my
lifetime as an elder, old man, in my lifetime, I need to see that
pick and pay, must pay rent to a Muslim.
That's it. Conversations that's happening out there. And what are
we doing? Sleeping?
These people are preparing well. How can we do to target these
people? No, no, no, you said we must do us, but Africans on
smooth? No, it's dumio Once kind of
mood battle for the Muslim world. What a what's happening in their
minds.
It means that we are so weak that people still can't see the beauty
of Islam. We are so weak. We are so weak we I think we are at the
weakest that we can ever be now that we are living because even
though, with everything happening around the world, we don't change
our lives. We don't show people that this is Islam. The
Palestinians are trying hardly and globally, it's having an effect.
People are becoming Muslims in 1000s, Masha, Allah. But they must
do it. They must die for it. You know, they must say husband,
Allah. They must say it. What about you and I?
We are living here. We have my neighbor that is not a Muslim. How
am I inspirational to him?
He needs to watch TV to see a Palestinian say, husband Allah,
and ask, What? What? What? What Imaan? Is this the dispute that
these people have, but knowingly that next to me is a guy that's
also of this faith. But why don't he do anything? He doesn't. He
doesn't give me the impression that Islam is so beautiful.
Ajib. So what does that mean we are failing in our duties?
What was the thing that Muhammad as to propagate in Taiwan, Dawa?
What is our dawah? How we conduct ourselves, and if that is how we
are going to conduct ourselves?
The flag of Islam will blow very high in the sky, lofty again
there, masha Allah, whereby others will say that, you know, there was
a nation in the 21st century that lived. We don't know how long
we're still going to live, or how many years is still ahead of us,
but maybe 1000 years from now, people will say there was a nation
20 in the 21st century, 100 years ago, mashaAllah, they were people
that stood up and the flag of Islam was risen high again because
of their efforts and their sacrifices. People can speak to us
as in history books, they will write it down. There was a guy
there, mashaAllah, the Muhammad. He lived in panorama. You know,
what he contributed because of that action that he did? Allah
saved the day, and Allah saved the Muslim ummah because of his
efforts and sacrifices. This is what we need to look at. This is
what we need to instill in the minds of our children. You can
have a great, great, great effect on this world. My boy, just be a
true believer and a true Muslim.
The narrative is, be a good doctor. Be a good I don't want to
say lawyer. We have a very great, great lawyer in front of us,
engineers, whatever the profession, mashaAllah, may Allah
increase them in becoming that, and be doing the greatest of job
in that. But what is really, really going to stand out the
deen, the deen that will inshaAllah allow the flag to blow
extremely high in the sky, and may Allah allow us to build, I mean,
Allah allow us that our Raja must be accepted by Allah. Allah allow
us that Subhanallah, we have a few days left in Rajab, let us be of
those who make Toba and istifa to Allah. Must accept that Amin,
Iraq, Alameda, let us, Ya Allah, protect us of the Sunnah, Sina,
Muhammad, sallAllahu. He was the one that fasted during this month.
He was the one that turned to you during this month. He surrendered
himself to you, Ya Allah, this is now the Maharaj is coming. You
know, this is a gift that Allah gave him through his what is the
gift that Allah will give us? Maharaj is the gift to Muhammad.
Saw why? Because of his difficulty inshaAllah, the Palestinians will
see this. We make da Ayala, 27th of Rajab, is coming the same that
you gave that Maharaj is a gift for Muhammad. Saw that Israel
Maharaj now we are waiting for the gift for the Palestinian brothers
and sisters in Raza, Ameen, Ya Allah, the Ummah is waiting for
the gift now. Ya rab, give us that 27 of Rajab. It holds a lot of
significance what has transpired in the gifts that has been given.
Ya Allah, open up those gifts for us as well. Your treasures, Ya
Allah, distributed among us. Ya Allah, I'm not saying in wealth
and death. I'm saying Ya Allah in Iman, in faith that people can see
ya Allah. If this is what Allah has given the Muslim ummah, then
this is truly the religion that we need to follow. Amhi, mera, pal
Alameen, may Allah. Bless you all. I love you all. For the sake of
Allah Iran.
Mean Is this a few announcements inshaAllah Inshallah, the first
one is our Israel in me arise. Program will be in Wednesday after

journey of the Israel. Miraj, Amin, you're palamin. And then we
have Back to Basics class last week. You know, I was the Masha

extremely enlightening to actually see that wudu can be explained in
so much detail. You know, certain things was mentioned that
everybody was shocked. Allahu, Akbar, just wudu. So does it mean
that I must now repeat my salah, or don't I have to? So, brothers,
you know, what come you know, there's still openings inshallah

seminar that happened in panorama. It's now an annual event at our
Majid Alhamdulillah, we have Esteemed Scholars that will be
present. It will be Saturdays and Sundays, the second and the third
of March and the 27th and the 28th of April. Inshallah, the posters

she just requests to offer us. But however we can contribute Allah,
allow us to make it easy for our brothers and sisters in Malawi as
well, inshallah. And then.
This is something dear to my heart. When I read the message, it
almost broke me. Sister WIDA hob, she's from iWeb, she said that
there's a request for donations for stationary for orphaned and
underprivileged children. Orphaned and underprivileged children, the
message that came out was much more. You know, it's not so
tasteful to speak about it, but how these children are being
treated now because they don't have stationery. Some of them
cannot go to school because they don't have stationary. It's a
very, very sad world that we're living in, SubhanAllah. But may
Allah allow us to open our hearts, let us contribute inshallah to the
iWeb
organization. Inshallah. The details is also on the poster, the
at the back inshallah. And then may Allah bless you. May Allah
continue somebody's birthday, but I just forget everybody whose
birthday it is. Inshallah grant him Hera, talakat, rahamata,
jaliat and Sakina, and then one of our committee members, our
assistant treasury, his uncle, passed away this morning. May
Allah grant him the highest abodian Jannah. Amina rapa,
Alamin, Allah put seven contempt against arts of the family
members. Amin rapalami, it's a brother Mustafa mukaddam, uncle.
Allah make it easy for them. Inshallah, just
a long
walk
along.
Oh, I
Oh shadu, Allah,
Ila

Muhammed, Hammad, Dawa,
