Jonathan Mahajan, by the day you are going to hurry her laser on
her Illa Hurlock for that. So from the Allah.
Allah subhanaw taala has graced us, provided for us for yet
another time that we can meet.
And we have a reading from the masterful work of CD mohideen I'll
just call it a G Lenny. And photographer Bernie will fade the
rock many are the sublime revelation a set of 62 This course
is where say the other Gilani expounds, upon the path to Allah
subhanaw taala. For the ascetic it Allah azza wa jal
and we have reached the 12. This course, the previous one they live
with this course, more or less dealt with the idea of an Mati for
now knowledge of the last battle to Allah. And we made the
distinction that is often conflated between knowing the
rulings of Allah subhanaw taala, knowing the commands and the
prohibitions, in other words, I'm going to take Leafy, that which
Allah subhanaw taala, as a main incumbent upon us in terms of
moral and ethical
acts, and the prohibition of immoral and unethical acts. This
is what we call it again, the rulings of Allah subhanaw taala.
And then between that which is knowledge of God himself, or
unmodifiable, let alone will be left, so actually knowing our last
panel data, and that's not just really knowing the outcome or the
rulings, it's also knowing
and understanding the wisdom in the commands and understanding how
we should be when we are greeted with different circumstances
within our lives, to see the reality as it really is, that it
is in essence, merely a
generally a manifestation of Allah's divine, and beautiful
attributes and names. And so, in this
discourse, if I had to choose a central theme, I would say now
it's talking about CMAT. And if some of the attributes of an added
below some of the attributes of those who have a Maori for Allah
subhanaw taala, and we say, Maori from Allah subhanaw taala. And we
say that if this means someone where their whole being is imbued,
and immersed in the shahada, or immersed in the witnessing, of the
Divine, in all things, and there's no divorce between witnessing of
the Divine and witnessing of the mundane. So things from their,
their, from their outward purport, yes, there are different colors
and there's different beings and creatures and animals and.
And
inanimate objects, things are all creations of Allah subhanaw taala,
we look to the celestial world and we see we look to the sky and we
see stars and we see planets and we see the moon, and so forth. So
all of those things as the poet of Elijah, he said, Elif equals chain
is to do law now hold while verily, there's a sign in
everything that points that Allah subhanaw taala is one. So rather
than having this, this confusion or Dasha, about what all of this
is pointing to a lot of biller sees that it all points to Allah
subhanaw taala. So there's a witnessing then, or Masha Hana of
the divine in everything. How does one
reach this Maori for how does one begin on their way to this Malefor
Allah subhanaw taala brings us to him, they say and mentioned that
some of them we added a hadith say that if you take one step towards
Allah subhanaw taala he will take many, many steps towards you.
That's why sometimes they define Teskey or to solve one of the
meanings a true to it is said that the module which is having the
true turning
back to the true turning towards Allah subhanaw taala so if you
turn towards the last part of the Allah, then you will find him
closer than
then you can imagine. So
here in the beginning paragraph, said Africology Lenny
kind of begins with that.

He says oh yeah, man, your wish you're all for the Lord of truth,
almighty and glorious as he is not genuine. You're not really wishing
for him because when someone claims to wish for the Lord of
truth Azzawajal while he is actually seeking something other
than him, his claim is null and void. Seekers of this world are
very numerous secrets of the Hereafter are comparatively few
secrets of the Lord of the truth. Almighty and glorious is he who
are honest about their wish for him are the fewest of the few. In
paucity and scarcity they're like the philosopher's stone or
concrete.
They are unique.
Individuals
have such extraordinary, extraordinary illness,
ordinariness and rarity that even one of them is seldom to be found.
They are the strangers among amongst the tribes. They are mines
in the earth, which they are monarchs. They are prefects of
cities and men. Because of them, the people are shielded from
disaster. Because of them they they receive rain because of them
Allah sends rain down from the sky. And because of them, the
earth puts forth vegetation. In the first stage of their career,
they flee from Mountain height to mountain height from land to land
from rolling to ruin. As soon as they are recognized in a place
they move on elsewhere. They cast everything behind their backs, and
certainly the keys of this world to its people. They continue in
this manner until fortresses are built around them. rivers flow
into their hearts, and they are surrounded by troops in the
service of the Lord of the truth, each assigned to specific guard
duty, thus, they are honored and protected and are put in charge of
the people. All of this is beyond their conscious minds. At this
point, it becomes their obligatory duty or Florida to make themselves
available to the people that come to be like physicians, when the
rest of the people are sick.
So see, I will call that here. He is speaking both literally and
figuratively, in this particular passage, and as we've seen as a
running theme throughout, with the chef, he mentioned three
categories of people. And we've seen this in the other discourses
as well. So he talks about 40 V or moody dunya the people who are
seeking the dunya. And he talks about the people who are seeking
the era. And then he talks about the people who are seeking Allah
subhanaw taala. So the people are seeking the dunya is
a blameworthy group. They are seeking the dunya they're seeking
really the delights of the dunya. They're seeking accumulation of
wealth merely in the dunya they are seeking to fulfill their
passions and their desires and to engage in delights, no matter what
the particular cause, leads, what particular cause they need to
pursue to get to that and what particular consequences may come
as a result of this. Then there are soluble or Moodle errs here
are the people who are seeking the FL and the people are seeking the
SRO are not a blameworthy group, they are very praiseworthy group
and in other other sections, we will see that the chef he praises
those people are seeking the action and usually when we think
of seeking the actual seeking the next life
we think of this
Test people who are pious I think most people are committed. And
indeed that is the case. And however, he's talking about a
particular type of group that is seeking to etc. In other words,
there's a there's a level higher, this particular type of groups
equal, the SR, sees that they do their good works, that they engage
in the hood, which is to show restraint and refrain from and
deny themselves certain delights in the dunya. Because they want to
engage in those delights in the Ashkelon, and they engage in
fasting and in prayer, and in supplication, because they are
hopeful those things will lead them to a place in paradise. So in
another passage, that comes later,
the chef he says about that, that these people
bow Salman dissolve Oostende Hindustan dal on Vidar.
These are people who
sold their fasting for another fasting, right? So they're fasting
from iniquities and the fasting from wicked things in this life in
order so that they may take part in Lisette in pleasurable things
in the next life. And they refrained and had sort of, let's
say, a stand of things that are delightful like a garden, in order
so that they may take part in the garden in the next slide, without
and without, and so they exchange, a mansion and palace in this life,
that they will not use illicit means to achieve, so that they can
have one in next life. And that, as I said, is praiseworthy. And
these are their bed was so had some of the other books mentioned,
their bed was who had your bed or those who are the constant and
forever fervent worshipers of Allah subhanaw taala. And as the
head they are the people who renounce, renounce the dunya,
seeking the pleasure or seeking the life of the FL
But higher than this is more do you do authority rule and ask the
people who are sick or tell you good luck people are seeking Allah
subhanaw taala people who are desires only Allah subhanaw taala
so it's not the mere pleasure of gender that they're seeking, but
they are seeking the pleasure of Allah subhanaw taala when you seek
the pleasure of Allah subhanaw taala then he will reward you in a
manner that will be commensurate with your irata with your Nia in a
manner that's commensurate with your intention, and with your,
your your intent and your will and your desire. So he will also give
you that, but that's not what they're seeking. That's why she if
he compares it to trading, one will stand trading one garden for
another trading one palace for another but seek, the owner of all
the gardens seek the owner of all the palaces seek the sovereign
over all things, namely Allah subhanaw taala.
And maybe to illustrate this point a little bit further.
The hadith is narrated in Sahiba hottie where the province was
setting them and many of us know this
was recounting someone of a previous nation of a previous OMA
that
had committed serial murder had killed 99 people.
And now this person wish to repent. And so they directed him
towards what they described as the AVID. So the Hobbit is the one who
was the fervent worshipper of God. And we know that in previous
nations, especially prior to the flood, pre Noah nations, they live
hundreds of years, if not more. So this person had been worshipping
Allah subhanaw taala, for many, many centuries, perhaps. And so
this man comes to him and he says, You look, I've committed many
sins. I've killed 99 people, and I'm seeking to repent.
And so the fervent worshiper says back to this serial murderer,
murderer.
What repentance could you possibly have? You have committed all of
these crimes, there's nothing. What could you possibly do? How
could you make up for all of that? I don't think there's a way for
you to do it. At this point, the man became angry and he killed
that worshippers. So that was 100 people, but he still wished to
repent.
So they said actually, you should go seek ALLAH and him
and hear what they meant and alim or the IRF Belaire not just did
rfbaq me let them back and not just only knows the rulings of
Allah subhanaw taala the one who knows Allah subhanaw taala so he
was sent to the island, and the island told him, Well, if you
choose to repent, then the door of repentance is always open.
It's never closed until your very last breath no matter what you've
done before. So this person who was Island biller also didn't let
his ego get in the way of giving this person
a chance at redemption. What prevented that
Bit from doing that. He's because even though he was a fervent
worshipper, he was not in the higher echelons of the America of
Allah. If he was, then he would have said the same thing as the
Harlem and say that the door of repentance and redemption is
always open to you. But since he closed it off, because he compared
this mount to himself, he said, I've been worshipping and I've
been in sujood and I've been fasting I've been praying, how
could this man possibly then be someone similar to me? And he's
committed all of these crimes. So the people who are seeking the F
hero are commendable group and the people the question that's being
asked that I'll answer were the people who also seek to avoid the
Hellfire they also fall in the same group as study being an FTL
so that either seeking to not be put in hellfire and also seeking
to be dwellers of Paradise, but the seekers of Allah subhanaw
taala, which he described as a Klansman, Coolio, Khaleel, as very
few, and their liking completed, Allah can rattle off Mar, which
literally means like, the red, sulfur, they said, is a imaginary
mad death. It's an imaginary material that is used to talk
about something that is very rare, or exceedingly rare or almost
impossible to find. So yes, the ones who are truly seeking the
last battle now there are the few, but this was where the Sahaba
were, this was where the Tabea inward, this is where certainly
all of the prophets and the LDS and the messengers, we show her
that will sit the lien, all of those people are, what do you do
and follow the rule, and we're seeking Allah subhanaw taala. So,
these people are important, the truth seekers of Allah subhanaw
taala because he mentioned some of the benefits that people derive
from the secrets of Allah subhanaw taala be him
the optimal level and the best, I believe, he said, by them, rain is
given by them, Utah, Utah, and who would be left with their presence,
the that the
the the trial and tribulation are, are being repelled from people,
they will be the source of
trial and tribulation being repelled. And what does that mean?
Well, if they are following in the footsteps of our Prophet SAW
Salem, and they're like our province, ours and what is the
last month I'd say about our province? I said, Well my account
along I was able to intervene, when I can allow my home or home
yourself your own two things. And Allah subhanaw taala will not
punish them and you are amongst them. So the Prophet SAW Selim is
still amongst us, number one, and certainly his message is still
amongst us. So the presence of these type of men and women
amongst us of the Juliet and of the city lien is that is that to
Tron? It could be the dua of one person, all it takes is one person
to be answered to be Mr jab. And then if you're there making sure
that this ballot or like like this pandemic or this Coronavirus not
affect us in a very miserable way and in a very terrible way then
there, Allah subhanaw taala can answer that DUA and it only takes
one person for that. And also, the general idea is when the bullet
does come, when the trial and tribulation does come, that it is
softened and lessened because of the presence of,
of these people amongst us. So I think the most important thing
that this community has ever produced and continues to produce
and hopefully will continue to produce is the best of people did
CalFire omitted Oak Ridge ugliness, this is the best
home or community that has been shown to people not because
Muslims are the chosen people not because Allah want to designate
the in that way because of some right of birth or because of the
lineage or because of some affiliation to particular tribe.
However,
the reverse still expounds upon that,
that model and I'm involved with and when I did monka was gonna be
left three things that they enjoying the good they forbid the
bad view and let's see how and via service to others without mean on
the left and they believe in Allah subhanaw taala that Swartz makes
them hate your own method of rejection less the best among the
best community that the world has seen. And so that is sila helical
is a manual McHale that is true, and remain true for every time and
for every place. Then he describes some of like the, the the ways of
these type of people, and he said that in the beginning of their
careers, they flee from people and they go from mountaintop to
mountaintop and they go from Desert to desert and so forth.
That can be literal, because literally there were people like
that and it's also metaphorical, metaphorical in the sense that the
true
seeker of God, the true nature of Allah subhanaw taala does not seek
popularity, does not seek fame does not seek shahada does not
seek to be known. Because those are all functions of the ego. What
they seek is Allah. And so if Allah is part of the either makes
them known, Allah subhanaw taala, sends them back to the Hulk sends
them back to creation, then it's not by their own errata it's not
by their will. It's by Allah subhanaw taala, sending them back
to the creation, look at our prophets are sending, you know,
imagine if you went through something like the Israel and the
Mirage, if you went through the night journey, and then the
ascension to the heavens, and then you actually see your Lord, and
you're communicating with your Lord in a manner that's
commensurate with His Majesty. And you wrote the back of the Quran.
And then you go back to Mecca, where the idols are still there,
all 360 of them, and people are still there worshipping them. And
you you're back in Mecca, and people don't all of them out of
the four or 5000 people who live in Mecca, maybe 50 of them see you
as a prophet and as a messenger and the vast majority do not and
are in opposition to you.
So what reason if it was by the choice of the prophesies? And
would he go back to that?
It was a last choice. Allah sent him back. Why? Because this was
the reset. So the Rasul and the reseller, the message and the
messenger cannot be divorced from one another. In fact, our Rasul
our reseller. So I said, the promise is, he is the message, he
is the reseller. And we will have, we have not understood the message
unless there was a messenger. They're not two separate things,
they are one in the same. And so if they're one in the same, then
it was incumbent that the Prophet SAW send them returns back to the
people of Makkah, not just the people of Mecca. But the people of
Medina after that, and then the people of the meme and the people
of behind and then of Iraq and Syria, and then miss, and then
Avila Yemen. And then beyond that no single model and Hinden all of
these vast different lands and today, there is not a place in the
world even though many places are not praying the prayer in the
masjid, but except that the event has raised what I call a look at
the clock, and the name of the Prophet SAW Selim, almost
most of the time, his name is mentioned when Allah's name is
mentioned. So if that's not proof enough that the Rasul Allah, He
says, would be enough proof for that. So the heirs of the Prophet
SAW Salem, to follow in his footsteps also serve a similar
purpose for humanity, it is their very presence, that people can
derive a benefit, that and billet
Euthyphro under the very least, it is softer than is lessened,
because of because also because of the
the trial tribulation is lessened, because of that, and supplications
that they make, while they do so for the people. And this also was
the way of the Prophet Muhammad sorry, Senator who would never say
enough. See, he would always say Almighty, when he would make the
art he would always make the art for the OMA, he will always
include the whole Ummah, he will even make dua for people who does
not know yet he would talk about his stuff and explaining it so
that I have I have learned from my brothers and in this harbor said,
are we not your brothers have? No, you are my Sahaba. But plenty, my
brothers are the ones who will come after me, and I haven't seen
them, they don't know me. And then their deeds will be like 50 of
your deeds, because they have no one to help them. And that
includes all of us. And so that which is actually required of us
is much, much, much less than that was the generation of the Sahaba
and the generation of the tambourine and so forth. So
really, in order to be of these people have hula and sit and have
and
have Salah and unrighteousness, we probably have to do much, much
less than what our predecessors what was expected of them.
So when Allah smart Allah sends them back is that by their choice,
they are not trying to make a business of the Dawa. They're not
trying to enrich themselves but they simply call to Allah subhanaw
taala because they feel that is the study that that is the
obligation that has been put upon them because they never saw it to
begin with. And then they never started to begin with Allah
Subhana Allah sends it back to the people so that they may call the
people to Allah subhanaw taala
So my argument to Corbin hockey as well look, if you're a human

So, he says you claim to be one of them. So what characteristic or
Allameh characteristic mark of theirs do possess what is the mark
of newness to the lord of truth as well and of His grace in what Ryan
Korman Zilla? Are you in the sight of the Lord of truth? And in what

So yeah, I need the language is strong, from the chef from see the
other jewelry. But he is making Fatah he's making an address or a
discourse to the worst aspects of us. And the worst aspects of us,
especially when it comes to so called religious people.
Or religiously committed people or pious people is their own self
sense of piety, their own self sense of worth. So we might read
that paragraph that came before like, Oh, I think I'm one of those
people. You know, I have plenty of Facebook status updates that gets
me, you know, in the hundreds of likes, and it seems like I'm
bringing good to people. And maybe I'm one of those people whose job
in Dawa and my thought is answered. And there's a lot of
it's a battle. And, you know, I did spend a few weeks in my
basement one time and then I came out I felt different. So perhaps
all of those things are applicable to me.
And then he says we hack the data in that
way back? Do you really think that you're one of them? What is what
is the ILM? Because the people who are from amongst those people,
they don't think they're one of them?
Rarely, if ever, will you hear them say yes, I'm one of the above
Dad and I am one of the I Will Yeah, and I am one of the you
know, the people by which trial and tribulation is is repelled
from the universe and so forth. No, they see their toxicity. They
see their their own shortcomings. They see their own mistakes, they
see their own missteps. They see that they must speak all the time.
And they see that if any good is coming, it's completely from Allah
subhanaw taala. Right, because the one who sees themselves as as
humble can never be humble. Because inherent in seeing
yourself as humble as seeing yourself as someone worthy of
saying I am humble. And that's a lofty station. So if you think
you're humble, that's actually a sign of kibble right? That's a
sign of arrogance. Fight when Athleta necesito Allah for these
have been around for a while that came upon
me when I thought the second thing in the heck I mean that first and
you said whoever, whoever confirms for themselves, their own
humility, then they're truly not humble. Rather, they see that they
have done nothing. And they see that if anything comes it's all
about the other. So as the as we said in the previous session, if
anything they see that may usually feed him in a loss volatile, they
are merely conduits and nothing more than this. So are they assess
On what basis should they attribute that to themselves? The
moment they attribute to themselves and seasons that it's
about their effort, their work?
Their diligence, they're so look there, Mujahidin? You know,
because people who are even on a more focused path to luck and also
get into the struggle. I said,
I have no idea that I have su chi mosaddek I'm on the path and these
are all delusions, right? What you are is what Allah makes you and
how you get to Allah subhanaw taala is determined by him. But
are you sincere enough Do you truly turned towards him? Why are
you making so many claims?
Claim making always leads to disaster always leads to misery.
So shares you have nothing to do then he said like what are the
signs is your is your income? Is everything about you completely?
Hello? Is it halal talk? Yeah, honey, are you 100% Sure are
mostly sure or is it kind of mobile just merely permissible?
When you are alone, what do you think about
All right.
Methodology, what do you Who are you thinking about when you when
you lie down in bed, right? And you have to go to sleep, and
you're lying and you're thinking, whatever you're thinking right
before you go to sleep, what is the last thing that you think
about? Are you thinking about your 401k? I think about your
retirement account. Are you thinking about?
How many rockhounds have to have prayer that you did this morning?
And how much favor that's going to carry for you with Allah subhanaw
taala? Or are you thinking about Allah? Are you thinking about the
magnificence and the grandeur and all of the blessings that only
Allah smart Allah could have given you? There was nothing by your
effort. And then you're thinking when I wake up tomorrow, what will
all do with me? How maybe he will give me the opportunity by which I
can show proper gratitude for all of these blessings that I can show
that Allah subhanaw taala that I truly am appreciative and that I
love Allah, Allah and I love the Prophet SAW I sent him and I want
to follow his footsteps and let me make my my he had let me exert my
mental and emotional and spiritual energy and trying to do the best I
can with those things. And that's that's kind of the true barometer
right?
And then when the FT that comes, which I want to read that section
before I thought talk about that so if you're the English

So he says, Do not despair of the role or the refreshment and relief

And then the verse you do not know it may be that Allah subhanaw

that how they say to the Taraji Allah, Allah, in the Quran means
certainly it's going to happen. So if you believe it's going to
happen and Allah solidifies that meaning in your heart, then know
the foliage know that the opening and know that the relief is is
clearly not studied necessarily in terms of seven not not close,
necessarily because of in terms of time, but clearly because here,
the mythology Dilla, right, that Allah Subhan Allah is the One who
has control over it. That's why it's cloudy. That's why it's
close. And the only thing between you and the foliage and the
foliage and between the opening and the hope is you turning to

say yeah, Rob
That's the job. As soon as you say yeah, Allah and you say, My Lord
and you don't say anything else, then Allah has answered your DUA
because that's what we want. We're seeking quote, we're seeking
closest to Allah subhanaw taala. And we're seeking to remember last
month, our fifth Guney ethical code. So when you remember ALLAH,
that's him reminding you that he's remembering you. So your
remembrance of God is his remembrance of youth.
So then, he says, Do not run away from tribulation because
tribulation born with patience is the basis of everything good. The
foundation of Naboo Prophet ship or prophethood of messenger herder
messengers, your pre Salah same ship with a lot of direct
knowledge of Marisa and of love of Mahatma is surely tribulation
because that is how you reach the level of true muhabba. If you
think love is just love of pleasure, or love, because you
show love to something and then it reciprocate that love back to you,
then that's not true love. That's actually just inclination towards
that which is comfortable and pleasurable for you. But true love
means that you will even suffer for the, for the sake of Your
Beloved, that you go through trials and tribulations with
forbearance and patience for the sacred of the Beloved.
So, if you have not born tribulation with patience, you
have no foundation. A building cannot last without a foundation.
Have you ever seen a house standing firm on top of a garbage
dump? You only flee from tribulation misfortunes because
you feel a pressing need for Saint chip, or modified direct knowledge
and the newness of the last final time. Be patient, and work until
you can ascend with your heart, your fun, your innermost being
your seer, and your spiritual walk to the gate to have nearness of
your Lord as well as the other than that, and the only and the
dead. Are all heirs of the prophets are. All of the prophets
are named Sam. So these are the true heirs of the province. And
all of them went through trial and tribulation, Prophets why Selim
was in vaudeville, and he's and the hijra, and all of the
different American battles of better and or hurt and conduct
and the loss of his wife and the loss of his uncle and the loss of
his all his male children. All of these were trials and tribulations
that are promised our settlement through and the trial and
tribulation of, of Jonah or Yunus in the belly of the whale and of
Musa the Sudan was exiled by his people. And of
use of Allah he said he was thrown into, into the well as I am boy,
and then came out and then
became in pharaohs and diseases court, and the trial and
tribulation he went through with the wife of a disease. And so far,
I'm being falsely accused of seducing her. All of these were
trial and the years in prison that he spent. So everywhere in the
Quran, right and everywhere, and you see, and the history of these
great people, we see the trials and tribulations and we see the
empty lab. And then we see how our prophets and messengers dealt with
the safety net. Right. And they knew that it was it was a means
and opportunity by which to get closer to Allah subhanaw taala.
So, yes, as long as we're alive and as long as we're living in
this world, and we're long as we're living in the dunya then
we're going to find at the eth we're going to find trial we're
going to find tribulation we're going to find difficulties, but
that is not the mark of who you are, how much trial and
tribulation you get, but how you deal with your circumstances. And
know also we do not seek trial and tribulation. One time a man
came to
a pharmacy I heard a man say Aloma. SOBOROFF Tina, soft, give
us patience. And the promise ourselves said you are asking for
Atilla you're asking for trial and tribulation, because patience is
to be shown, or forbearance when you get to trial and tribulation.
rather seek from Allah Allah, Allah hath here. Seek well being
from Allah Subhana Allah do not seek trial and tribulation, we
actually don't want to get to Allah subhanaw taala we don't want
to reach his door, by through the foods who the fire of trial and
tribulation, we rather see it through
the wedding in the hands of consistent and constant beautiful
bliss and blessings that come to us. And then I actually shown the
proper gratitude towards them. That's the way I want to reach
Allah but Allah will decide how we go. And Allah will decide what is
best for us. And so at the same time, even though we seek that we
leave our complete agency we have complete of wheat,
in Allah's decree and in his intent, so we leave that all to
Allah subhanaw taala but we don't seek the difficult way. We don't
seek the hard way. We don't seek the trial by fire, but we seek the
way of blessings and bliss and ease and we know that last rounds
