has inbuilt within our system, we cannot control that. But we can wait regulate them, engage
ourselves in activities other than these other than fulfilling those desires until Allah subhanaw
		

			taala opened doors for us to fulfill them in a halal and acceptable manner. The Prophet sallallahu

desire, not the desire itself, we cannot control the desire and remember this, but we can control
the consequences of these desires, their actions we can control, but the desires themselves, they
are meant to be enjoyed, but when it is up to Allah to decide the time, now there are a few
reflections that I wanted to highlight here in sha Allah, the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam
		

			when he said the intelligent person is the one who compares the value of this dunya with the value
of the Hereafter
		

			meeting this is the reflection that we wanted to deduce from the Hadith. Okay, you assume and then

Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam is telling us compare the enjoyment, the pleasure of this dunya with the
enjoyment of the Hereafter. And when you do that, you tame your desires in a better way. You tend to
be more focused on achieving greatness in this dunya for the sake of the enjoyment of the Hereafter
		

			Inshallah, tada the prophets Allah Allah Allah Salim said, Whoever focuses only on this world on
this dunya Allah will confound these affairs will confuse his affairs and making constantly. We make
him constantly looking at poverty, meaning Allah will bring poverty right in front of his very eyes,
and he will not get anything from this dunya other than what Allah already has desired for him,
other than what Allah subhanaw taala decreed
		

			for him, and whosoever focuses on the hereafter.
		

			Whoever focuses on the hereafter, Allah will settle his affair for him and make him content with
whatever he has.
		

			And Allah subhanaw taala will bring the entire dunya and the year after running to him Yanni Allah
will grant you the pleasure of this dunya and the pleasure of the next if your focus your main
intention
		

			your main focus is the earth era. We are not saying that we should now neglect this dunya Allah says
in the Quran, Walton Sana Siva Kameena dunya don't forget the portion that we have provided for you
in this dunya but we're saying what work in this dunya for the benefit of the Hereafter become
successful in this dunya for the benefit and for the reward of the Hereafter. The Prophet Muhammad

			poor son of Adam, devote yourself to my worship, and I will fill your chest with richness and
alleviate your poverty from you. If you do not do so, I will fill your hands with problems and will
not alleviate your poverty, poverty. This is something a promise that Allah subhanaw taala is making
for every individual, either you devote yourself for Allah subhanaw taala as worship
		

			either you devote yourself to obedience of Allah subhanaw taala commandments as found in the Quran,
and through the teaching of the Prophet SAW Selim or you will never be satisfied, even with
fulfilling your desires in Haram men. Yeah, and even when you fulfill your desires in a haram way,
you will not be satisfied. So what's the point? So what is the point? Another reflection we may
think of? Is that the likeness of this dunya my brothers and sisters in Islam is both an amusement
and diversion which does not last long. How many years are you going to live in this dunya? How many
years are you going to enjoy these pleasures that you are running after? Allah subhanaw taala says
		

			in the Quran, amen higher to dunya Illa Allah I will wala that this life, the life that we are
experiencing right now is nothing but an amusement and diversion. it diverts our attention from the

think of regarding the Hadith of the Prophet SAW Selim about taming our desires is that true
believers conduct themselves within the limits of the Sharia of Allah subhanaw taala. And so they
don't consider themselves to be free to do whatever they want. We are not like dogs and cats, my
brothers and sisters and Aslan, dogs and cats, if we fulfill their desires, they fulfill it anywhere
they want in front of any one, they don't care, they don't have that shame inside of them, or that
feelings of we need to do things, you know, in an inappropriate manner. They were designed, they
		

			were created this way we are not not called what are called corona by me, Adam, Allah said that we
have elevated and dignified the children of Adam. So our creation is different. So we have to be
proud of that. And we have to act within those limits. That's why the prophets Allah Allah alayhi
salam said dunya sent gentle movement. This dunya is a prison for me for a believer.
		

			It's a prison for us. We just can't wait to get out of that jail and enter into the everlasting
freedom, Jen, because this dunya is the Jana of the disbelievers Allah so the They are running after
the desires. May Allah protect us all your blimey May Allah subhanaw taala protect us all. There was
a reminder in the Quran and I want to give you it was a reminder for the children of Israel and I

Allah says in the Quran, have you seen them, the person who has taken his desires as God,
		

			they are not worshiping in the sense of praying five times a day to their desires, rather, we are
just driven by these desires, Instead of obeying Allah subhanaw taala and living within the limits
and the boundaries that Allah had decreed, and revealed in the Quran and through the teachings of
the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu sallam.
		

			It was also
		

			excuse me, another reflection that we should also learn from this beautiful narration is that don't
forget and ignored the worldly life. We mentioned that briefly. But again, let's reflect on this.
Allah Subhana Allah is messenger Muhammad Salah is telling us within the same Hadith that work in
this dunya become successful in this dunya. But remember that everything you do here in this dunya

indeed Hellfire will be there aboard.
		

			Indeed the Hellfire will be there alone.
		

			And as for those who feared the position
		

			of the Lord fair, the the position and the status of Allah subhanaw taala has our Creator and
prevented their soul tame the soul from their inclination towards evil in the Jannah will be the
final award. May Allah make us among the people of gem. Three things the Prophet Muhammad wa sallam
said three things cause destruction and three things lead to salvation. The three things that caused
