Salam Alikum Amna madonn Mubarak to you and your families. I just
wanted to take a moment to share with you a little information
about a campaign that we have launched this Ramadan to help our
resettled refugees. The campaign can be found at WWW dot launch
good.com backslash Cornerstone refugee.
Over the past year, Cornerstone has been working hard to develop
teen empowerment workshops, and parenting workshops, where we can
help refugees who have settled into us over the past several
years, to better integrate in their communities, in their
schools and in their societies. Now, in those campaigns in those
those programs that we've developed, we've found a huge
poll, where families and teenagers in particular are grateful for the
food and the security and the safety that they've been provided
with. But now they're seeking something more a sense of
belonging, a sense of community, a sense of feeling, that they really
are a part of American society. And so we're putting together a
trip to Six Flags, which is something that many of the teenage
girls had asked of us, and we need your help in order to facilitate
that and to make that happen. We're also working with different
organizations to provide further counseling one on one counseling,
more positive parenting workshops, and more teen empowerment
programs. So please join us this Ramadan in helping others by
donating whatever you [email protected] backslash,
Cornerstone refugees, and if you're not able to give anything
yourself, please spread the word and share the campaign with others
