and his forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils within ourselves and the evils of our

conscious of Allah as he deserves for He is the Creator. Be conscious of Allah as he deserves, in

strangers, be conscious of Allah wherever you are, and give him his right as is his right as the
creator and do not die except in a state of submission. We ask Allah subhana wa Taala to allow us to

often did we take advantage of that blessing we saw during COVID-19 and we see even today, the
restrictions upon us, there is no blessing you have in this world that is permanent. And so the wise
believer and the grateful believer seize the opportunity of freedom as a blessing that is not
lasting, but one that must be taken advantage of today, and we ask Allah subhanaw taala to make us
		

			grateful for the misogyny
		

			Long after this pandemic is lifted long after the lock downs are lifted all around the world. When
we talk about the freedom to pray in the masjid
		

			and the gratitude we should have for praying the massages. We reflect to number one on appreciation

throughout many years and decades, wishing to just pray in some places in East Turkistan in the
concentration camps. They've told us many of the refugees and survivors that if we were to pray,
even sitting on a chair, barely making any movements, that person would disappear, that person would
be taken, wearing the hijab is forbidden. Appearing as a Muslim is forbidden. How many of us living
in a land like this, appreciate that we have the blessing to practice Islam as we want. And yet we
		

			see Unfortunately, many of our youth and many adults as well sadly, losing their identity and rather
losing their religiosity over time living in a land with many options, living in a land in which we
have the freedom to choose. We ask Allah subhana wa Tada to allow us to be appreciative and grateful
for the blessing of Islam and the ability to practice Islam and we reflect on those who are kicked
out of their homes and those who are oppressed for saying Allah Allah, Allah Allah, wishing to be in
our shoes, wishing to be able to wear the hijab, wishing to be able to pray in the houses of Allah,
may Allah make us grateful and allow us to work for their cause, Allah Amin. Number two,
		

			we reflect today on the blessing of health out of fear and the blessing of loved ones. And we ask
Allah subhana wa Taala to preserve our health and to preserve our loved ones, Allah Amin, many of
our community members have passed away during this pandemic. And some have passed away right before
this pandemic. We ask Allah subhanaw taala to accept them as shahada We ask Allah Subhana Allah to
elevate the ranks and to grant our families patients Aloma Amin, we ask Allah subhanaw taala to keep
their families patient so they are rewarded as well Allah Allah Amin and we are reminded that
whatever you have of health, it is not guaranteed. And whatever we have of relationships and family

Allah. And that reality, the reality of our mortality. The reality that we will return to Allah is

Iran, Iran and to Him is our inevitable return. The more we are attached to our privileges and
blessings without utilizing them without cherishing them without cherishing relationships, without
asking Allah for the preservation of our health, and our families and our loved ones, the more we
lose out on the blessing of gratitude there after May Allah subhanaw taala keep us grateful. And
		

			there's one ayah that perfectly summarizes all of the different types of trials during this
pandemic. The idea we hear often the one we will recite in the prayers well in sha Allah, what Allah

			As people's religions win, we are living in a society, especially today, and we are commemorating
this Juneteenth for those who do not know, the 19th of June, the oldest celebration of the end of
slavery in this country. And yet, and yet as we talk about freedom, one type of freedom was or
rather, one type of slavery was disguised and replaced with another form of systemic racism, one
that is embedded in the policies of this country. And if you are not aware, you must be made aware.
If you are not aware, watch the documentaries, do the research, talk to people, because this is part
of what is happening today to a big part of the population, and it affects every single one of us.
		

			And so when you see something like the prison industrial complex, or police brutality, significantly
affecting the black community more than anyone else in this country, we cannot remain silent as
Muslims and we will refuse to remain silent as Muslims. Because any type of injustice in every time
and every place affects us as Muslims and requires us to step up to the plate that is a part of our
belief system. We ask Allah subhana wa Tada to make us amongst those who are working for the end of
oppression and the end of injustice in this country, and to make us amongst those who are actively
part of the solution. Rather than standing on the sidelines. We ask Allah subhanaw taala to make us
		

			amongst the people of justice. They are people that are beloved to Allah will oppose Cebu be just in
