We hope you're doing excellent inshallah. From time

to time, I plan to add some supplemental

information that I hope will animate

your understanding

and

your,

you know, your kind of

imagination around this text and this

subject because this is truly a journey that

we're taking together.

And many of these things are coming from

the notes I took from my teachers,

over the years.

And one of them is

the assumption

that the warakat,

which is, you know, only 10 pages. Right?

Sheikh al Mihaly,

his

explanation,

which is probably the most popular,

on the War Haqqat because it's the easiest.

It's around 40 pages.

That this is like

Imam Al Haramain's like

like, this is his, like, tarjihad

of Usul. Like, these are his, like, preferred

opinions and this is, like, his final say

in the science of Usul Ofilk. And that

actually is a big mistake.

The waraqat,

as we mentioned previously, was written

le elmobtare. Right? To invigorate,

and to inspire the beginner.

And if you pay attention to it and

how it's written in arabi you begin to

note that it's almost like a like a

summary of something

And, actually, it is.

And and the proof of this is that

Imam Al Haramain actually wrote a number of

texts in

for example, the first book

he ever wrote was

a

which is actually a summary

of

of Sayna Imam al Birkhilani.

So,

Talgisfi also lafook of Imam al Haramain

is actually

a summary. It's in 3 volumes. It's printed,

by the way, of the book

in by Sayidna Imam al Baqilani al Mariki.

Right? Which

is. That's the first book he ever wrote.

That's 3 volumes

The last book that he wrote in

is of course considered

a an anchor in the subject,

for the Malekis. It is really one of

the foundational text even though he was

al Burhan.

And that book,

you know, is like an oomda. It's like

a pillar.

And in that book, we find the tarjihad

of the imam,

like, his

his conclusions and his, like,

years of exerting his intellect to where he

he concludes on things.

I mean, Imam Abdul Malik,

ibn Abi Muhammad,

Imam Al Haramain Al Jawayni, is born like

410

after Hijarian dies like 478.

So he lived lived a long life.

But al Waraqaat

is actually

the summary

of aluma with ayn. Aluma

lumayin.

Abu Ishaqashirazi.

In fact, I heard from doctor Abdul Salam

who was my teacher in Al Azhar,

in Usul Al Fakk, one of teachers we

had. He was amazing,

That, you know, if you were to compare

and I haven't read the luma of, Shirazi

or studied it with anybody. He says, if

you were to compare the with the

of Sayna

Abi Ishaq al Shirazi. Like, it's like almost

like you're reading the same text.
