The speaker discusses the importance of being one and not alone in achieving success, citing examples of Islam and the community of 50,000,000,000 cells. They emphasize the need to read the serial numbers of approaching planes and take part in the simulation to understand the community's ability to make unimaginable accomplishments. The community of 50,000,000 cells is waiting for you to lead and is the community of 50 trillion cells that can lead to a community of 50 trillion cells.

And he has made darknesses
and light.
Throughout history,
for the most part of history, there has
been darkness
on the earth, the darkness
of oppression,
the darkness of cruelty,
the darkness of injustice,
the darkness
of shirk and polytheism,
the darkness
of kufar,
and the disregard
of Allah subhanahu's guidance.
And throughout this darkness, Allah subhanahu had
sent light of the light of guidance.
That with this light of guidance,
people were taken out of the darknesses
into the light.
Today, once again,
in many parts of this world,
we have darknesses,
the darknesses of oppression,
the darkness of persecution,
the darkness
of polytheism,
the darkness of the disregard of Allah subhanahu's
guidance,
And some people's
action plan for these darknesses on earth and
amongst our lives today
is to
wait for the Mehdi to come
and save us.
Some other people are waiting for Jesus, alayhis
salaam, to come
and rectify matters.
But the reality is that today there is
not the Mehdi present.
Today there is not
Jesus Christ present, alayhis salaam.
But today
you are present
and you can make a difference,
and this is how.
The prophet Muhammad
said,
Muslim. The prophet Muhammad
said that amongst the trees, there is a
certain tree
whose leaves do not fall,
and it is like the Muslim.
The prophet
then asked the companions, the Sahaba,
to try to guess which tree this is.
The companions named the number of trees
but were not able to guess the tree,
and then the prophet Muhammad
said,
It is the date palm tree.
How is the date palm tree like a
Muslim?
What is the similarity?
The prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam as
mentioned by Ibn Hajar in his fath. In
another narration, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
mentioned this similarity and this comparison.
He said,
The similarity of the date palm tree where
its leaves don't fall.
The prophet
said that for the believer,
his dua,
his supplication,
that when it goes up,
it never falls down.
So just like the leaves of a date
palm tree would never fall
when a Muslim makes dua.
The dua, this supplication
connects and goes up to Allah
This, my dear brothers and sisters, is the
superpower
of the believer.
The ability to connect
and the ability
to have Allah
accept our du'a. The prophet Muhammad
said, there is no Muslim who supplicates,
who makes du'a,
and that does not contain a sin and
does not contain
anything which requires
abandoning, cutting the relationship of our kin,
except that one of 3 things happen.
Number 1, Allah
accepts this du'a and makes it realized in
this world.
Number 2, Allah
saves that du'a for him to be used
in the hereafter.
Number 3, Allah subhanahu
by this dua
repels an evil that was about to come
to this Muslim.
So the Sahaba, the companions saw this as
a win win situation.
And they said,
shall we not then make Allah a dua?
The prophet responded
by saying, Allahu Akbar,
that Allah is more, Allah is greater.
Some of you may be thinking,
what is this person talking about?
What is this guy saying?
The darknesses of the world.
How can I, a single person, make a
difference?
Here's how.
Allah Subhanahu Wa'ala said, That
Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam was a model of excellence.
That Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam was a leader.
Ibrahim Alayhi Salaam was alone
by himself.
There were pagans. There was shirk and polytheism
all around him.
He was the only believer,
but he made a difference.
Allah subhanahu said he was
a leader, a model of excellence.
Allah subhanahu wa'ala did not use the word
imam for leader
as he used in another
verse,
and make us amongst
and make us a leader amongst the righteous.
Make us a leader for the righteous.
Allah in this verse did not use the
word imam.
He used the word ummah.
Umma means a leader.
It also has another meaning.
Umma
also means a community.
And that is because
a person can embody a whole community by
himself,
by herself,
even if he or she is one person.
And that is done by following the light
of Allah's guidance.
And if we do that in this world,
we will see this light
manifest itself in the day of judgment.
That on the day of judgment, we will
see this light that we follow in this
world
shining in front of us and in and
towards our right side to show us the
path towards Jannah.
So being one person or being alone is
not an issue.
We have the example of the wife of,
who was by herself,
who was in a very challenging
environment
with the worst tyrant that history has ever
seen, Firaun.
But yet
she understood this superpower
and she made dua to Allah Subhanah. She
asked Allah Subhanah
for
She asked Allah for protection.
She asked Allah for success.
She asked
Allah not just for any house in paradise.
She first asked for the location.
She said, oh, Allah,
give me with you. She wants to be
the neighbor of Allah subhanah.
Give me with you, close to you, a
house in Jannah.
So she's a beautiful example
of how being alone
and the worst
of the most difficult situations with the worst
tyrant around her,
but yet
the light of guidance shone.
And also Mariam, Alayhi Salaam,
when she was alone by herself
giving birth to a prophet, Alayhi Salaam,
there was no epidural shot.
There was no midwife.
There was no doula.
There was no doctor.
But by herself, she was making history by
giving birth to a prophet, alayhis salam, who
would change the world.
So, yes, by yourself,
an individual,
one person,
you can make a huge difference.
Every human being has 50 trillion
cells.
Every human being is a community
on his own.
Every person
with these 50 trillion cells,
the there is a community.
This community of 50 trillion cells that you
have
is waiting for you
to lead.
How so?
A group of cadets
who were taking officer training
were told to go into a flight simulator
to simulate
a flight,
and before going going in, they were told
to take an eye exam.
After the exam eye exam, they were told
to enter into the flight simulator,
but they said to them,
you have to fly this simulation
as real
pilots, not as trainees.
You have to be real pilots.
And so when they
flew this simulation,
when they took part in this simulation,
they were able to read the serial numbers
of numbers of approaching
planes.
Now these serial numbers were smaller
than the numbers they could not read on
the eye exam.
How so?
In World War 2,
when thousands of soldiers
were injured and needed surgery
and they were running low on morphine.
They were given saline solution, and they were
told that this is morphine.
When they took it,
the saline solution proved to be 90%
effective
as morphine.
How is this possible?
How is this happening?
How did the eyesight increase?
How did the body accept
a saline solution to be morphine?
My dear brothers and sisters,
this happens
when you allow your mind
and your
heart to believe
that it is capable of more.
My dear brothers and sisters,
this happens when you lead your 50 trillion
cells.
Then your 50 trillion cells, your body responds
in kind,
and then your mind and heart and body
produces
unimaginable
results.
So being one person is not an excuse.
We are a community of 50,000,000,000,000
cells
that can make
unimaginable
unimaginable accomplishments
by the will of Allah Subhanahu.
My dear brothers and sisters,
this is our superpower that Allah has
endowed with with endowed us.
But like any superpower,
it has its antidote.
It has its kryptonite,
which makes the superpower weak.
And the kryptonite for the believer
is
having weak resolve,
living in the darkness of uncertainty,
wavering as the prophet
Muhammad said. The prophet
said
that everyone's
du'a, this superpower that we have,
everyone's du'a supplication
will be answered
as long as the person is not hasty.
When he says I made du'a,
I supplicated and it was not answered.
This lack of resolve,
this uncertainty
decreases
the superpower
and hinders this
supplication to go up to Allah
The second antidote, the second kryptonite for the
believer which weakens the believer
is sins. And this is why Allah said,
That the believer is constantly making repentance,
getting rid of sins because sins weaken our
superpower.
And it's not just any kind of repentance,
my dear brothers and sisters.
Allah
wants us
to maintain our superpower, and so he said,
It has to be a genuine,
sincere repentance
that comes
directly
out of the love for Allah Subhanahu,
that Allah Subhanahu, I don't wanna disobey you.
I don't wanna displease you. I don't wanna
disregard
the lights that you have sent on this
earth. I don't want to be distanced from
you. I don't want to imitate shaitan.
I want to have a house right next
to you. I want to be close to
you. I want to follow your light. I
want to see that light in front of
me on the day of judgment,
a sincere
and genuine repentance.
My dear brothers and sisters,
with these superpowers, you can make a difference
with the power of dua,
with the power of supplication,
with the community of 50 trillion cells,
and with this
abandonment of sins and this constant making of
genuine
and pure repentance to Allah subhanahu,
anything is possible.
Tell your 50 trillion cells.
Tell them that you can learn Quran Arabic.
Tell them that you can go to the
gym and care for your body. Tell them
that you can be a positive presence anywhere
you go. Tell them that you can stay
firm and steadfast no matter how difficult your
environment is, even if you're close to someone
who is like a tyrant. And so Allah
subhanahu said,
and when you've made this decision to leave
your 50 trillion cells, Allah
then said that when you've made this decision,
then trust and rely on Allah
And Allah said in the hadith
that I am at the thought of my
slave of me,
that your our limitations
of our mind and our thoughts and our
abilities are broken
by connecting with the one who has no
limits,
by connecting with the one who is eternal
and that is done by our thoughts about
Allah subhanahu where Allah subhanahu said in this
hadith Qudsi,
I am at the thought. It's the mindset
that matters.
It's our thoughts that matters because Allah will
be at our thoughts of how we think
Allah is. So if we have thought that
Allah will make us healthy,
if we have thought that Allah will make
us lose weight, if we have thought that
Allah will make us learn the Arabic
language, if we have thought that Allah will
help us accomplish our goals in life,
if that is our good thoughts about Allah
Subhanah, then Allah Subhanah will make that happen.
I ask Allah
to ex accept our fasting,
to accept our rakti'am,
to accept our zakat and sadhahat.
I ask Allah subhanahu to enable us to
lead our 50,000,000,000,000 cells in a way that
is pleasing to him.
The prophet
said, whoever fasts the month of Ramadan
and then follows it with 6 days from
Shawwal,
6 days of fasting,
it is as if he fasted for the
whole year.
Now this whole year reward of fasting is
not any other fast.
What the prophet
here means is that if you just fast
6 days in Shawwal,
it is equal to
a year of
Ramadan fasting.
In other words, Ramadan for you is not
just 30 days anymore. It is worth
1 year of Ramadan, and we know how
virtuous Ramadan is.
