You thinking about Allah subhanaw taala so you have amplified the

heavens, okay? Hamdulillah you don't say 100 Allah for another

you hamdulillah for some things in the dunya right? So you focusing

on dunya

and you making it good, but Subhan Allah puts the focus on the

heavens, and how much greater are the heavens than the Earth?

Alright, so it fills up what is between the heavens and the earth,

because now you realize, I'm not alone. We're not alone during

work. There's a massive world above us. And there's a massive

world above us. So

we're merely passers by. Now prayer is a light.

Prayer has a light for an obvious reason. Whoever is whoever makes

dua, at any moment that you make dua, you are given a light

commensurate with the intensity of your dog,

a light commensurate with the intensity of your joy. Okay, so

someone makes into, we're not talking about the beauty of the

words. We're not talking about the perfection of the Arabic. We're

not talking about.

The eloquence of the dog, we're talking about the desperation.

Nobody talks about the length,

not the length, the length is good, or the lessons make much

remembrance of Allah. But we're not even talking about length.

We're talking about desperation. Some people, they have this thing,

where they take their work ethic,

a positive work ethic, but they misconstrue it and treat Allah

subhanaw taala like that. So you come to your dad and you ask for

money. Your dad says, Look, son, you need to start working on your

own. You go to your friend, he says stop asking meds are working

on your own. You go to this person, you go to this, and they

start giving you this message, right? Fine. If human beings will

give you that message. And you're gonna say to so far, I'm not going

to ask. Okay, even though there's nothing wrong with asking because

when you ask someone else give suck. When you ask someone learns

about your state, so don't think that asking is wrong. But human

beings, they don't like someone who had to push him away. So that

person will learn let me do it on my own. Right? With Allah is

supposed to be the opposite. It's not supposed to be like that.

You're not supposed to say, Oh Allah, you gave me skills. I'm

gonna do this on my own. No, you're supposed to act on your own

which you're supposed to continue to pray with desperation. Now. So

much so, so much so the Prophet peace be upon him said, if you're

gonna buy a set of laces for your sandals, a strap for your sandals,

prophet was trying to show us okay. The degree to which we

should ask that we should never be in a state of feeling like, I want

to do it alone, as if I don't want to burden of US economy. As if

Allah is gonna he wants you to be self sufficient. No, it's the

exact opposite. Allah wants you to constantly be in need. Okay,

Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam, he went around and he looked for

food. He couldn't find food. So you want to take loans from

people. No one was there to give him a loan, or the 10th person he

asked him, the guy who gave him food, and Ibrahim will pay him

back later. So finally, probably not even sitting there eating

food. And Allah subhana says, Why are you eating your dinner so

late? So Prophet Ibrahim says to him, I didn't have anyone to give

me the food. No one would lend me food. And he brought an Allah says

him and I'm not your friend. He said yes, but majesty, I can't.

You're the king of kings.

He said, Ibrahim asked me for everything. Even if you need more

salt.

So food is a necessity. Right? You can argue Okay, ask a lot because

reason says saltwater necessity. It's a love. It's not a it's an

additional thing. Right? So it says Ask me even if you need more

salt. So everything we have to turn to Allah and whoever is not

turning to Allah subhanaw taala is a big problem, too big trouble,

okay, because he's not. He's thinking you can do it on his own.

What is Allah said, Fine. Do it on your own.

Do it. Take what you want. If that's what you want, then do it.

Someone saying well

I have enough let me leave the door out for the poor, you think

there's going to be traffic jam in the heavens? For dua that only

that leave it for the poor? No.

So what about someone who has a lot, and he's very good at dog and

the poor person doesn't have a lot. So he has to make dua. So

you're going to start thinking, well, in that case, these people

they have a lot and they have access to a lot at the same time.

And then the rich may be thinking, well, we have Allah give us a lot

of dunya. So we don't need to focus on spirituality, but it'd be

pointless. No, this is Allah has a distributed things the way he's

distributed them. Right? And we have to take advantage of

everything that he's offered. So for in the intensity of the prayer

directly, a light comes down, okay, directly a light comes down.

There was a boy, actually, there was a boy whose father was a great

preacher. And this boy, Allah subhanaw, taala, gave him cash. It

allowed him to see certain things that were unseen to everyone else.

So this boy saw an angel coming down on his father, okay. And

encouraging him in the in the speech, he's given this previous

preaching, and he the voice seasoning, before coming down,

encouraging, telling you words, tell him look at this person, talk

about this, talk about that. And he's given even the man himself

doesn't know this has happened. Right? So He's his father.

What is that? How do you how do you prepare your speech? He says,

Well, I prepare. And then when I go up there, I don't know what

happens. I just putting stuff out there. And Allah gives me

inspires, he says, Do you make a drug before you pray? He says,

Yes, I always pray that Allah sends me a force to help me speak

well to the beat. So he says, Because Allah I see, in a heavenly

this man. Remember, when this man he has a problem talking about

really important, because a lot of people have doubts in their head.

A lot of people don't feel their event at all. They don't feel

their event. So charity, Allah subhanaw taala has given us the

physical act that we could do to prove that we have met or to prove

that we want, amen. Okay, and that Allah will give it to us. So what

the what is, he has his charter. So charity is of several types.

There's charity,

that's known, which is money. It's the highest level. There's another

type of charity, time, time is the time to check. Someone's talking

to you and you want to go elsewhere. Right? At the end of

the day, at six o'clock, someone calls you on the phone, you really

just want to get in the car and go home. Charity if the time charity

of your time, there's charity of muscles, someone's talking to you

smile back, talk to smile back. All of this is charity. Okay,

prayer is charity to how to charity of your time as well,

because I didn't have any thought of said Salah is this account of

time, people why don't mostly people don't pray, they don't pray

because something tells them they have to go. So those skip the

So charity

is in every stripe, there's a charity, every every money, close.

How is closed, it's a charity to you, if you're if you're going to

visit someone, okay? Sister, there's

this is something, you got to assess who you're going to visit.

Because sometimes you need to dress down. And that's a charity,

because you're going to be seen, but you're dressing down so that

this person that you visit doesn't feel bad, and that this person has

kids don't sit there and like oh my god, this guy not going on dad.

Right? This is a charity. Okay to do these physical acts or a proof

to Allah that you want, amen. And that Allah will give it to you.

Okay, so we got to prove with our actions. Someone who has a doubt,

simple, give sadaqa to domestic, give sadaqa to someone poor, give

out your money, Allah will see that they'll fill your heart with

the man.

You want him then spend time in the mystery. Spend time and your

prayer man. Allah sees the time that you're giving out. He's going

to fill your heart with you men don't think it's going to be the

opposite. It's not like when Allah gives me men, that I'm going to

act No, it's the opposite. When I act and show ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada

that I want this, then he's going to give it to me, and then it's

going to come easy to them. Alright, so there's gotta be a

sense of struggle to prove yourself to Allah subhanaw taala

now patience is brightness. How is patient's brightness? A subtle

He was our hearts. And our hearts are like mirrors Prophet said

they're like, it's like a mirror. But he also said that for every

wrong action, we do a black spot goes on,

like sparkles. So then that mirror becomes cluttered up with dark

spots. So then how does it look clean this out? He tells us he

teaches us the worship is the act of worship. We do these acts of

worship, okay? When we do these acts of worship,

when we clean off our hearts, every time we sit for thicket,

every time we sit for Jamar will do anything. You know, here's the

problem, though.

When do you stop an act of worship?

Stop when you get tired, right? So you might actually get tired and

you got too tired to clean off all the wrongs that you did. Because

wrongs are easy. Worship is hard. So by nature, the wrongs that you

do will be more than the worship that you do. Okay? Most cases,

that's how it is. So Allah subhanaw taala, he sees your

effort trying to clean off your sins. He takes over. How does he

take over the cleaning? Right? He starts cleaning up himself.

sicknesses, poverty, deaths, insults, loss of honor.

Even from a papercut car accident, fender, Bender, annoying person,

all of these things, right are ways in which Allah is.

Allah is better to clean you than you clean yourself. Because Allah

is not going to stop. Right? He's not going to stop. You see people

with cancer. How do you know what that person did? He needs it.

Right? He needs cancer to clean him out. All of his worship would

not have cleaned out the wrong line and out the wrongs that he

did. Against How about other people? Allah Even good people who

say Okay, great people out there, they don't do anymore because why

do they still suffer? Well, easily. Allah subhana wa Tada. You

worshipped and you got yourself here. Allah wants you up there.

But you're ever can't get you there. So what happens? He causes

people to backlight you, causes people to insult you so many

people say, Why are so many righteous people insulted because

they their worship got them here. But Allah was so pleased with

them. He wants them here. So he caused people to back by this

person to say bad things about him so that he gets more reward, and

more read

all that stuff. So but here's the key though. Allah Spano Tata in

you have the ability to push away this and

I was watching your heart off, you have the ability to push him away.

How do you do that?

By rejecting what's happening by being in a state of rejection

about what is happening, okay? We push it Allah away.

And on top of that, we still suffer. So the cancer won't go

away. But you're so angry at ALLAH SubhanA, WA, tada, you're still

going to have the cancer, and you're not going to get purified.

Allah created you in a form. Allah created you with a family that you

don't like.

If you're patient, you benefit from it spiritually. If you reject

it, and you're constantly angry, constantly bitter, constantly

upset about focusing on the negative, what have you done,

you've pushed away the divine him and pushed away as him. You don't

want him to clean you. So what do you have to have patience, just

like a doctor, the doctor here to help you. But it hurts. Right? If

you push away his hand, he's not going to serve you anymore. And

you're going to still be in pain. Right? You're still going to be in

pain. The doctor is going to help you. You'd have to be patient and

allow him to operate upon. This is Allah subhana wa Tada with his

tribulation. Love brings tribulation, don't push it away,

keep it let it stay, it's going to hurt, but the outcome is going to

be much better. Just like if anyone's ever had internal

bleeding in certain parts of the limbs, particularly the fingers,

the head, the feet, internal bleeding, there's nowhere for the

blood to go. So the blood gets stuck in a certain part of the

body. That point it causes a lot of pain. But what does the doctor

have to do to alleviate that pressure? He's got to literally

punctured the skin or the bone even. Sometimes they have to

puncture the skull to get that blood out. Okay? It's going to be

very painful. process can be very painful. But if you if you let it

go and push the doctors head it's going to be worse. So tribulation

is a big hammer when it washes it off.
