When he become a Muslim, prophet Muhammad sallallahu

Zaid of the goodness,
Zaydul Khayr.
Just we would love to have a brief,

about his life before Islam,
how he used to be very generous and

kind,
one day

and he's a scholar, he narrated,
that one old man from Bani i'mir
told
him, one day we become

starving.

and we had nothing to eat.

and he found a lot of
camels,

and he found a small tent,
and he thought, you know, this is really

place, and the people here, they are rich.

and go back to my family
in Alhira in Iraq.
And he hide himself
in in the tent, and there is an
old man was in the middle of the
tent,
and he hide himself behind him.
And before sunset,
there is a rider of the horse. The
he came
with
the hundreds of camels,
she camels,
and he has his servant
serving the camel. And
when they arrive
and he told his servant, you know, milk
the camel, the she camel, and go inside
the tent,
gave to
a shayikh
a shayikh, which is the old man, his
dad.
And the servant, he took the milk and
went inside the tent.
And the the old man, he
he took 1 or 2 sip of the
milk,
and he left the rest of the milk.
And the man, the robber or the thief,

that that man, he said, after they ate
and they get very deep sleep,
and I took all camels and go back
to my family in Alhira.
And he said, I was
walking for the whole night, and nobody follow
me.
And when, the following day, I saw something
like.
I I thought it's a big bird, but
after a while, I figured out that
he is the rider, the fighter
that I saw yesterday
when he was,
telling his servant or his slave
to serve his dad.
When he came near to me,
I took my arrow and I stopped between
the camels and between him. And he told
me, return back the camels for me. He
said, no. I will die
to defend the camels because
we have in we my family,
is starving
back home, and I will not go back
with nothing. I will
I'm ready to die or to take the
camels.
And the man that we were talking about
him,
the rider or the
the the pharise, he was Sayeduna
Zayed Al Hayil.
And he told him the rope in the
head of the camel,
he told him has 3 nets.
You know, which net you would like to
hit by my arrow?
And he said the middle one. And he
throw his arrow and he touch
the middle net like when he put it
by his hand.
And the the man gets scared,
and he hit the second one and the
third one. And the man, he throw his
sword, and he raise his hands up.
And he told him,
why you why you took my camels
without without
permission? And he said, because I have my
family, they are starving back home, and we
have nothing to eat.
And he,
captured
him. And he told him, you you you
gonna kill me? He said, no.
I will treat you in very nice way.
Right behind me. And he took him back
to his
tribe.
And he told him, if this is my
camel, I will be happy to give to
you. But it's not mine. This is for
my sister. But I promise you, when you
come with me and wait for a few
days,
I will,
fight against,
Bani Numair.
And if I win, I will give you
whatever I will have from,
them. And he won
more than a 100 camels.
And Sayed al Khayr,
he gave the 100 camels to that thief,
to that man, and he sent some
soldiers with him to help him out to
go back to his,
town, which is Alhira
and Alira.
This is how he was generous
before Islam.
And now when we move on to talk
about Sayyiduna Zayed Al Khayil,
after Islam,
the story started
when he heard about Islam,
when he heard about prophet Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wasallam in Yathrib,
and Sayeduna Zayid Al Khayil,
he is from
the the tribe of Taiil.
The tribe of Taiil, they used to worship
the idols called Al Uzza.
You you
hear
which is the sunam in Mecca, and which
is the sunam in
Taiyid.
And they used to worship also the black
camel
because black they they have, subhanAllah,
in their cultures.
They they thought that the camels are
very sacred or very holy
animals,
And they used to worship like we have
today. Some people were shaving,
cows. Some people were shaving,
mawis. Some people subhanallah.
And this is it will
tell us that we have free will
to worship whatever we want. SubhanAllah.
Allah
did not make strict for anyone to worship
him. And if you choose to worship Allah,
it's up to you. If you choose to
worship
anything else or anybody else beside Allah, it
will be your choice.
And the story of Sayyid al
Khayr,
it will
explain for us the hadith of Rasulullah
when he told Sayyidun al Mu'adh ibn Jabal
Be sincere in your religion,
and it will be more than enough if
you do few of good deeds.
And this is what we learned today
about Sayyid al
Muhallal,
Abu,
Munakaf
Al
Nabhani.
It was in 9th year after migration of
prophet Muhammad, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
He did not accept Islam in early
Islam.
Some some people will claim

to serve the religion of Allah or to

right away when he saw them, he said,

more than
the idols of
that you worship
beside Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. How prophet Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam recognize that those people
came from Thai. Al Muslim
not
SubhanAllah. When when you have
al Farasa
to figure out, you know, the from the
faces or from the skin or from the
languages, SubhanAllah,
you will realize,
you know, who's this,
person
or or which country
that he comes from.
And the Nabi Yusuf Salam call,
Subhanah, he was talking to his companions,

follow him.
And he went to Bila De Sham, and
he shaved his head, and he become Christians,
and he died as a Christian.
But the rest of the group, Sayedoon Azayd,
Al Khayel,
and the rest of the caravan with him,
they went to Prophet Muhammad,
and Sayid Al Khayil said to him, oh,
Muhammad,
I bear witness
there is no one has right to be
worshiped,
but Allah and I bear witness that you
are the messenger of Allah. And the prophet
Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told him, who
are you?
And the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,
he knows. Subhanahu alaihi said, no. You are
zaid al khairi.
You are not zaid off the horses.
You are zaid off the goodness
and SubhanAllah.
And Nabi shalallahu alaihi wa sallam changed his
name to optimistic name, Zayed al Khairi.
And Nabi shalallahu alaihi wa sallam,
when he,
received him, when he accepted Islam,
And and Nabiya sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told
him.
All praise be to Allah that he brought
you from your land,
from your
tribe and soften your heart
toward Islam
to become a Muslim.
And prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, you
know, took him and his people and some
companions.
I and he went to his house,
And prophet Muhammad
gave him,
like, the pillow to
to put underneath
his body,
and he told him
means lay down a little bit, and he
was shy. He said,
Few minutes just he accepted Islam, and he
learned
how to be respectful
to Prophet Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wasallam. And he said, it will
not happen at all. I cannot
lay down on front of you. And the
Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam gave him another
glad tiding and he said,
You have 2,
qualities
that Allah and his messenger love them
from
you.
Means,
tolerance.
Which is,
kindness.
You are kind.
And this is subhanallah,
this is his,
character.
This is something
in his character.
He did not
All praise to Allah that he make me
as what Allah and his messengers,
loves.
And he told the prophet Muhammad, gave me
300 fighters
with their horses. I will go to room
and to Bilad, a room, and I will
fight. I will
really harm them. And prophet Muhammad
was very excited with him, and he said,
who who are who you are?
Man and
and he was surprised,
just he accepted Islam few minutes ago, and
he's ready to go to fight to defend
the religion of Islam. What did we do
to defend our religion and to defend
our, beloved prophet Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wasallam?
And and Nabiya sallallahu alaihi wasallam
who's this man?
Subhanallah.
He's amazing. And An Nabi gave him another
glad tidings, and he said,
I forgot to tell you
that Madina in that time has a pandemic
like what we have right now. You know,
Umma Al Madina.
And and
when he came from outside Madina,
he he catch the virus, and he,
received
the the the the virus in that time.
And, subhanallah,
he stay with the prophet Muhammad
few hours, and he excused himself
to go back to his tribe
and to tell to convey the message to
his people
to become
Muslims,
all of them. And he arrived his camel,
and he went back to his place to
Kabila Tay,
and he couldn't reach his
his tribe
because he passed away in the middle of
the the road
before he returned back to his people.
He had a wishes
to go back to his people to convey
the message of Islam, and they will become
a Muslim, and he will earn all the
good deeds for them.
Islam, he, He did not
deal with any sin
because it was very short period of time,
when he accepted Islam
until when he passed away. And
see, you know, if we stay talking about
him until further time, subhanAllah, we will not
end up because he is
amazing companion
and only he spend a few hours with
the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. How
many years that you live in Islam
practicing Islam every single day? And what did
we do for our religion, for our Islam?
Did we tell people around us about our
amazing religion?
Did we practice our religion in front of
them to make a good,
impact and a good picture and good image
about our religion. And this is, you know,
we will be asked in the day of
judgment what did we do
to convey the message of Islam and to
convey the message of the religion that Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
choose for all mankind.
This is our hero tonight,
Sayeduna Zaydul Hayli,
before Islam,
and Nabi sallallahu alaihi wa sallam named him
Zaydul Hayri
after
Islam.
And this is it was,
9th of Al Hajra,
9 years after migration of prophet Muhammad sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam.
What we need to learn today
to to learn that our intention
will
take us up, will elevate us higher and
higher
even if we are not able to do
any actions, but we have good intention.
When we die with the good intention
and we were not able
to do actions, Allah
will reward us based on our good intention,
and this is what we learn from Sayyiduna
Zaydul Hayri
And
this is what we need
to learn and to study and to teach
our children and next generations
about the,
shadows that we have, our heroes,
our companions,
the companions of Rasulillahi
sallallahu
alaihi wasallam.
May Allah subhanahu ta'ala help all of us
out
to, imitate them and to follow
their footsteps.
Allahumma Ameen.
