AI: Summary ©
The importance of showing passion and desire for results is emphasized in the month ofams, with a focus on showing passion and desire to achieve results. Prayer and praise to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is essential, and individuals should be presentable when making du mortality to ensure the election is complete. Prayer and praise should be given first and show weaknesses and mistakes before praise. It is important to show weaknesses and mistakes before praise and to show love for Allah.
AI: Summary ©
It's an honor to be here.
This is my second home, my second masjid.
Epic.
Beautiful community. May Allah
bless you. You. I see a lot of
our youngsters here. It seems like there was
a program,
for the youth. May Allah bless your youth
as well.
So just a few minutes inshallah that I
want to spend with you, and then we
will go for,
inshallah.
So
the month of Ramadan started,
a few weeks back, a few days back,
and then now it's, it's coming to an
end.
And we didn't even feel it. Meaning that
we didn't realize how fast time goes by.
We were making dua that Allah
allow us to reach the month of Ramadan.
We used to say
Ramadan.
So Allah
gave us the opportunity to reach the month
of Ramadan, and to witness the month of
Ramadan.
And here we are. We are leaving the
month of Ramadan. SubhanAllah.
May Allah accept it from us.
I always say we should not take this
month for granted.
This month goes faster goes by faster than
any other month. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said
in Surat Al
That's only a matter of days.
Had Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said,
Shahu Ramadan
without seeing a matter of days, we would
have known. Shahu means 30 days or 29
days according to the
calendar. Right? But Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said,
be careful
because Ramadan
is only few days. And Ramadan is an
opportunity to reconnect with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
It's an opportunity to get your
answered by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
His Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is bringing this
to our attention. Be careful.
Ramadan
might come this year and we're alive. Next
year might come and they were not
here. There were so many people, perhaps they
were praying shoulder to shoulder with you
in this masjid.
Right?
They used to have suhoor and iftar with
you in the same table, but this Ramadan
they're not with us.
And next Ramadan we may now be with
other people, subhanAllah.
So if Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has given
us this opportunity, we might as well just
make make the most out of it.
Alright? Because as I as I say, like,
one night of Ramadan, one moment of Ramadan
can be your ticket to Jannah. May Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala make us from the people
of Jannah. Say, Allo mumim. One moment of
the month of Ramadan.
Right? You can imagine that. Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala has given us.
It's better than 1000 months.
It's better than 1,000 months.
You can imagine that. How great Allah subhanahu
wa'ala, gracious Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is to
give us this opportunity
to worship him for 1 night, and he
gives us the reward of 82 I mean
more than 82,
years. You
can imagine the of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
What I always say
is that,
if you do not make it to Jannah,
it's because of you.
It's because of us.
As for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he's given
us every opportunity
to go to Jannah.
Every opportunity.
You fast one day of Ramadan,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala multiply their word. You
do any kind of good deed, Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala multiply their word. And he gives
you on top of that
So
what else are we waiting
for? Right?
One of the things that,
whenever we talk about the month of Ramadan,
we talk about also we discuss in the
dua. Right? You've heard this many times from
your scholars
here, from different Khutbas, the dua. There is
a secret about dua.
Alright? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala after he talked
about the month of Ramadan, after he talked
about
he
said,
when my servant ask you about me, Muhammad
He did not say. He said, I am
near.
I am ready to answer their their dua.
Why? Because subhanAllah,
if you think about it,
when you're hungry, when you're thirsty, when you're
exhausted,
the whole entire day you're fasting, your body
is just tired.
Your stomach is yelling at you, feed me.
Feed
me. Alright? So towards the end of the
day, subhanAllah,
when you raise your hands to Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala, do you think Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala will return your hands empty? Absolutely not.
Allah Alright? He knows that.
The more you show humility to Allah
the more Allah
answers your dua. We have a few minutes
left, so I'm coming to you today with
a prescription,
not medical prescription, not doctor,
a spiritual,
prescription on how to get your dua answered
by Allah
according to Imam Al Nqayim Al Jazir.
Imam Al Nqayim Al Jazir was known to
be the spiritual doctor.
Alright?
He has a prescription of about 15 conditions
and requirements,
tips and techniques
on how to get your dua answered by
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Let me share start by sharing a,
a story with you,
that I actually spoke about in in 1st
Qomashr tonight.
There was one of the hafas. You know,
we just had the Quran competition, alhamdulillah, and
we offered 2 umrah. Actually, 3. We added
3 omer, 3rd omer today. We
he text me he actually, messaged me on
back in November 2023.
I was in front of the Kaaba.
I was performing Umrah.
And usually, I post on my story, hey,
guys, I'm standing in front of the Kaaba.
If you have any du'a requests,
send send it to me.
So this young man,
he sent me a message saying, Sheikh, can
you please make du'a that Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala allows me to go for umrah every
single year?
I made du'a and then I messaged him
back saying done.
That was back in November.
Alright? Type.
Now, January announced that there will be Quran
competition.
Alright? There will be Quran competition.
So
we plan, put the plan together, and we
said we're gonna offer 1 omer.
We're gonna offer 1 omer for the first
place.
Then another sponsor said, you know, I'm gonna
sponsor another omer, so we can you can
offer 2 omer, inshallah.
The exam starts
and then we decide the winners.
Alright?
Someone must be on Instagram.
I check and it seems like they were,
like, you know, exchanged, like we had a
conversation before.
It was the same guy
who said, Sheikh, can you make dua for
me?
That Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala allows me to
go for umrah every single year.
I
didn't know who he was.
When I looked at the messages, and he
said, can you make dua for me? And
I said, done. And I actually made dua
for him.
SubhanAllah.
He happy to be from Dallas,
and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
and he gives us the and
to host the Quran competition.
And he wins the Quran competition, and today,
tonight,
we've given him the armor.
How how is that even possible? Like how
This is not coincidence.
When I checked the messages, that's the only
conversation that I had with him. Only conversation.
I he said, Sheikh, make dua that Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala gives me a umrah,
and I sit down. The next one,
I actually messaged him to say, congratulations, you
won umrah.
And then I I saw the rest of
the the the messages, subhanAllah. So
du'a is
so powerful,
and Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, hears the dua
of Asa'imin.
Alright? If that's the case, if we have
this opportunity to make dua and to ask
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, for whatever we want,
why why wouldn't we make the most out
of it?
Okay? Why wouldn't we make the most out
of it? So now back to Ibn Qayman
Jazir, he,
he gives us a prescription of about 15,
you know, tips, tricks, and techniques on how
to get our duas answered,
answered, and he
titled the chapter,
the Du'a that is most likely
that's almost never rejected. That's the translation. The
Du'a that is almost never rejected.
Okay? So I want you to pay attention
to this inshallah
because this is very, very important. You write
them down,
on your phone, whatever. You record, it's gonna
be recorded also inshallah.
I will mention as much as you can,
and then the rest is going to be
homework for you guys.
Alright? So,
says,
he says,
Your heart
is present.
That's the presence of the heart.
When you make dua to Allah,
make sure that you are aware of what
you're saying,
that you're actually passionate about it. Alright? It's
not like
What is this? Is that how you make
dua? Is that how you request
something from somebody?
Just a regular person.
Allah's for his own perfection.
Is that how you is this how you
ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala? No. He said
your heart has to be there.
You have to put your heart into the
dua. You have to feel it, to sense
it. Alright?
When you say you
actually mina.
You Allah, you say to Allah, I am
your servant. I'm your slave. I am not
going to leave this Musa Allah or this
spa until you answer my dua.
Alright? So this is very important. You have
to have the passion.
Alright.
So Hudu Al Qarbeh, the presence of the
heart.
That's the first one,
and he says with the presence of the
heart, if it coincides with the 6 timings
in which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, during which
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala or Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala is likely to answer the dua. What
are the 6 timings?
Number 1.
The last portion of the night.
This So basically tajj, what we're doing right
now.
The last portion. Everyone is asleep. Everyone is
resting. Everyone is, you know, just enjoying their
sleep. And you're the one who's standing before
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala saying, you Allah, I
am not gonna leave this place until
you answer my du'a.
You Allah, I have tried everybody else, but
people always fail me. People always let me
down. People always disappoint me. I know that
you're not gonna disappoint me. You Allah, answer
my du'a, you Allah.
During that time, the last portion of the
night, do you think that Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala will reject your dua?
No. It's not gonna happen.
Like,
what's the second timing?
He said,
You heard the Mu'adhid saying, Allahu
Akbar Allahu
Akbar.
When the Mu'adhid says, Allahu Akbar.
This is the time when people, unfortunately, people
in the masjid,
when the people start talking.
The Mu'addil is you're making the adhan, you're
waiting for him to finish so you can
start your sunnah.
Yeah? But you but you forget to repeat
what he says. Alright? And you forget to
make du'a for yourself.
Can you can you imagine that? And the
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is giving you this
opportunity to connect and to make du'a ask
for whatever you want.
Alright? Anything around salah has barakah.
Has Barakah. Anything. Before Salah, during Salah, after
Salah, the adhan, the iqama. Everything around Salah
has a lot of blessings. So in the
dua, this is the second time.
The third,
between the adhan and the adhan.
He finished the the Mu'adda finished the adhan,
and then the adhan is coming. During this
time, instead of chit chatting with people around
you and wasting your time, just sit on
one of the corners, pray your sunnah. Right?
And then sit and make some dua to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
is likely, according to the. Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala is likely to answer the
dua as well. Alright? What else?
He says
during the
after salah. After Efeishu salah,
make some
dua. Because he performed such a wonderful Ibadah.
Allah loves a salah. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
loves a salah. When you want to talk
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, you should pray.
What should you do if you want Allah
to talk to you?
Read the Quran.
And then gift cards next time, inshallah.
Read the Quran.
If you want to talk to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala, you pray. If you want Allah
to talk to you, read the Quran.
So Allah loves when you talk to him
in salah.
So when you finish salah, you performed 1
Ibadah. Beautiful ibadah. Wonderful ibadah. Now
make dua to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Why?
Because in salah, you put your forehead, your
face, you put it on the ground. Your
beautiful face.
Right? You put it on the ground.
And you said, subhanahuabi
al a'ala.
Glory be to Allah, the most high.
Yeshu, and humility to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Did you think that do you think that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will not answer your
day after that? Absolutely not.
So what after? And then he said after,
What else?
You know when the imam clogs the member?
When the imam gets in the member to
say the, the,
to to start the Khutbah?
This is the time when you also can
make dua. You don't have to to be
loud, but you can make dua during this
time also.
Right? Why?
Because we know when the imam climbs the
member, when imam gets in the member, the
angels,
they actually sit at the doors of the
message after they documented those who came early
to for salatul Jum'ah, and they start listening
to the Khutba.
But in subhanAllah, if you come while the
the I mean, the khatib is given the
Khutba, you see people in their social literally,
on social medias.
Someone's checking the stock market.
Right? You see this all the time. Oh,
people talking to each other.
Ajib,
you have an opportunity
to get your duas answered, yet you're wasting
it.
So when the imam when the imam gives
the khubba, starts giving the khubba until the
end of the khubba.
This is how many times now?
5. 5.
Allah bless you, brother, oh, Allah. 5. Number
6, on the day of Friday, Jumu'ah,
bayinah Allahas wal Maghrib. The last hour.
Juma has an hour. We always say that
there is an hour that Allah
is giving for
When you make du'a during this hour, Allah
is likely to answer your du'a. 42.
So the first one, the presence of the
heart. There is passion about your du'a.
The second one,
make dua during the 6th timings.
And then number 3, he says,
Face the Qibla.
Okay? It's not like a must that you
do that. These are all like mister Habet,
but face the Qibla.
Because think about it. When you go for
'Omrah or for Hajj and you sit in
the, you know, in the mataf in front
of the Kaaba,
when you look at the Kaaba, subhanAllah, what
do you feel? You see the serenity and
the the the peace that you you feel
when you go there?
When you face the qiblah and you make
dua to Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, you're you
remind yourself of Al Kaaba and Baytillayil Haram.
So face the Qibla
to show respect to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
so that you Allah, I am ready. I
am prepared,
spiritually,
emotionally,
psychologically,
physically. I am ready to have my Dua
answer.
Number 4.
When you make Dua,
raise your hands to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Why? Rasoolullah salallahu alaihi wa sallam says, Allah
will be ashamed
if his servants will if he raise their
hand or his hand to return them empty
without putting anything on them. Them. Allah will
put something in your hand.
Raise your hands when you make dua to
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. I'm going fast just
for the sake of time.
And then he says,
When you make wudu when you make dua,
make sure you have du'a. If you want
your dua to be answered I'm not saying
that this is mandatory.
It's not like forbs to have du'a if
you want your dua to be answered,
but
your dua is likely chances of you getting
your du'as answered
are higher,
when you have wudu. Well think about it.
When you go to, you know, an official
or VIP person or or like king or
president, obviously you're gonna look presentable.
You're gonna smell nice.
Alright? What about Allah
Look presentable when you when you make du'a
to Allah
Yeah?
So
purify yourself.
What else he says?
Start by praising Allah
Don't go directly to your diet.
Okay?
Don't go directly. Go straight to your dua.
Oh, Allah give me this. Oh, Allah give
me that. No. Praise Allah
first.
Alright?
What's the first portion? The first part?
All praise to Allah.
Up until now, there's no dua. Where is
the dua? It's coming
up. Guide us to the straight path. Praise
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala first. That's subhanallah. That's
our nature.
I I I was given this talk on
other masjid and I was
making this a joke about, you know when
you when your wife, when she want to
get something from you,
she's starting seeing sweet words to you. Right?
That the brothers, now they know this trick.
It's like, hey, come on. What do you
want?
Allah's for his own perfection.
Alright? What do you want?
Yeah?
So when you want something from Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala, please Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
memorize
Allah
tomorrow. Right?
Yeah?
We finished yesterday.
So for some people, our Ramadan is over
over there.
Alright. They don't come to the Masjid anymore.
So tomorrow,
when
they make du'a, they praise Allah first.
Alright? So this is very important. Before making
du'a, if you want your du'a to be
answered by Allah
after,
do something that Allah
loves, which is
Allah loves
when the name of the prophet is mentioned.
When the salaam, salaam, upon the prophet
are present.
Why?
You know when when you tell someone when
you want to get something from somebody,
and
you tell them
do you know, by the way, you do
Ahmed? Oh, yeah, Ahmed.
Oh, he's he's a good friend of mine.
Oh, Ahmed is a good friend of yours?
Oh, wow. Amazing. What do you want? How
can I help you? Because he heard the
name Ahmed.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala loves
when when he hears the name of the
prophet
Muhammad. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is being a
role model for all of us. They said,
I will start by sending a salaam al
salaam alabi salaam. Now it's your turn to
do so.
FatihaAllahu Wa Ta'ala. So
atthinaa Allah praise Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, and
then
add
a
Now your heart is present.
Okay?
You're choosing the right time,
and you are
facing the kibla. You're facing the kibla. You're
raising your hands to Allah.
You're started by praising Allah,
and What is next?
Start by showing Allah
by talking to Allah
about your shortcomings and your mistakes.
Because you're you're a servant of Allah. You're
coming to your master because
you
you feel like you're not doing enough
to, you know, to please your master, Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So you start by talking about to Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala about your sins,
about your shortcomings,
about your, about your.
Rasool Allah SAW ASALAM
tells us in.
You Allah. I am coming to you and
I'm full of sins and mistakes and shortcomings.
I admit my mistakes.
You know the difference between Adam and shaitan?
Adam alaihis salam admitted his mistakes.
Adam alaihis salam said,
We've wronged ourselves.
We've wronged ourselves. It was our fault, our
mistake. You know what Shaytan said? He
said, You Allah, because you misguided me. I
turned out to be bad like that.
That that they call this projection of blame,
and instead of focus on your own faults
and mistakes,
you try to blame it on somebody else.
We're good at that.
We're very good at that. I'm not able
to connect. I'm not able to come to
the masjid because, you know, man, these uncles,
they're so mean to us.
Alhamdulillah. Talk out to the young people. The
uncles around you.
You're you know, they're giving you a space.
Yeah. Alhamdulillah.
They're not kicking you out. They're not telling
you don't do this. They're giving you a
space in the masjid.
I am not able to pray because of
this, because of my work, because of that.
And instead of, like, admitting your mistakes and
and the fact that you're procrastinating,
Right? You try to blame it on something
else.
So when you make dua to Allah,
make sure you admit your faults and your
mistakes before Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, first.
And then
he says,
When you make dua, don't say just Allahu
Maqfili once. Allah
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
is the total opposite
of
people.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala loves
when you ask him multiple times.
Come to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala every single
day and say, you Allah, give me this.
You Allah, give me that. You Allah give
me that. And try doing the same thing
with people.
Wallahi. The first time they're gonna pick up
your call. They're gonna text you back. But
then if you keep on you're gonna say,
why are you nagging? Why he's nagging? Why
she's nagging too much? Guess what? I'm not
gonna even take the calls anymore.
That's our nature. But for Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala, it doesn't matter. He calls you every
single day through the masjid.
The difference is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will
give you what you want. I want you
I want you to write this down inshallah,
keep this in your mind. Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala,
he promised that he will answer your du'a.
But there's one condition.
Allah will answer your du'a according to your
schedule. Not you according to his schedule, not
yours.
Again.
Allah will answer your dua according
to his schedule, not yours.
You ask Allah for something and you want
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to give it to
you right now. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala decides
that you're not gonna get it right now.
You'll get it when I think it's better
for you, when I know it's better for
you.
Right?
But people are always in rush.
So don't give up on Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala. Don't think that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
is is is not is not gonna like
when you ask him too much.
He's the opposite of people. He's not like
other people. He's Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
So I will conclude with 1, inshaAllah,
and then we'll go for the rest of
the program, inshaAllah, for tonight. And then he
says,
How many names that we know about Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?
Each and every single name
has Hajjah for you. You need rizq, Allah.
You need shifa, Allah.
You need to be given.
You feel lonely?
Allah
is Alright?
Yeah? You need gratitude? Allah is
shakur. Every single name for Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala, there is a need. Allah give has
given you multiple names
because he knows that you have a lot
of needs. Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So use the names, the names and attributes
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Allahummaa.
Allahummaa.
And so on and so forth.
So how many did I mention that, Hani?
10?
10. Type. Inshallah, your assignment is to find
the rest, and you can find them in
a beautiful book called,
The Disease and the Cure.
The
disease and the cure by.
The chapter the title of the chapter is
the dua that is almost
never rejected.
I ask Allah to accept our
dua.
And I guess the call, for tonight is,
He was he was the grand he was
here.
So he's leading us in.
Oh,
do you guys take a break or 3:30.
3:30.
3:30. We start
Oh, okay. Snacks? No snacks? No snacks.
Which which message was? Give me snacks. Snacks
time. So we asked the guest speaker to
bring the snacks with him. Oh. Yeah. My
brother said we asked the guest speaker to
bring the snacks with him.
Well, I'm trapped.
Rob.
Please turn off the light on the left
over there, please.
Just one more reminder about the phones and
the alarms, brothers and sisters.
Close the gaps.
Double check your phones are off.
A law
above.
A law

Lord.
Lord.
Lord.
