00:00:31 --> 00:00:33
			Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah

00:00:34 --> 00:00:42
			al hamdu. lillahi wa Salatu. Was Salam ala Mallanna de bajo Nabina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi

00:00:43 --> 00:00:45
			wa whom Allah yummy Deen

00:00:47 --> 00:00:55
			eyeshadow La ilaha illallah wa Jalla wa shadow, Mohammed Abu Omar solo, Baba.

00:00:57 --> 00:01:00
			Welcome brothers and sisters to this morning's event.

00:01:01 --> 00:01:22
			As just before, check, Sergeant Omar comes onto the stage, I'd like to briefly remind the brothers
and sisters of the nine points I had made without elaboration in Sharla. And by the time I finish, I
hope there'll be more people who have managed to come into the lecture halls from both the brothers
and the sisters side in shallow tala.

00:01:24 --> 00:01:24
			First of all,

00:01:26 --> 00:01:35
			when we, when I gave my talk, I mentioned that being faithful to Revelation is to grow into big
becoming animated in our intuition

00:01:37 --> 00:01:44
			that I mentioned the second point was that being faithful to Revelation also means to have a passion
for the impossible.

00:01:46 --> 00:01:52
			Then I mentioned being faithful to it is to have hope in things that are not in our hands.

00:01:54 --> 00:02:05
			And the fourth point I made made following on from that was being faithful to Revelation is to let
revelation possess us, instead of us possessing revelation.

00:02:07 --> 00:02:10
			by revelation, of course I mean, the Quran and the Sunnah.

00:02:12 --> 00:02:20
			The fifth point, following on from that was being faithful to Revelation is to uphold the truth and
virtue everywhere and with everyone.

00:02:22 --> 00:02:37
			sixthly I mentioned being faithful to Revelation is to avoid superstition, reject wasteful and
demeaning conduct, and to be assured, through obedience and adherence, that Allah's mercy prevails
over his anger.

00:02:39 --> 00:02:45
			Seventh Lee that being faithful to Revelation also means to trust Allah, without reservation.

00:02:47 --> 00:02:51
			The seventh point as an eighth point was being faithful also means

00:02:52 --> 00:03:33
			about it means to love Allah, basically. And finally, I mentioned being faithful to Revelation is to
live a life knowing that the way we treat the servants of Allah and we are all servants of Allah is
the same way we can expect Allah to treat us in turn. So our conduct is important. So these are the
nine I think important principles or points I mentioned slightly academic and these lots of
explanation perhaps to some people, but some of us can easily engage with those. So that's my
summary inshallah for Shaq's, a soldier, then the fourth one is coming across. Can I mention again,
please, turn your mobile phones off. That's extremely important.

00:03:34 --> 00:04:15
			If you had missed further this morning, and you are sitting in the audience, barakallahu li comb May
Allah bless us all, regardless of our circumstances. But I think it's very important that at least
at the event, we try to attend the fudger prayers, inshallah, that will add a lot more to our
experience and benefit of the event than listening to talks and talks will end add more benefit than
being in the market stalls are at the dinner queue. So fudger prayer is very important, all the
prayers are important. The third point is of course, there are some observations about how perhaps
we are mingling and mixing but by the nature of the event and family residential experience, but

00:04:15 --> 00:04:52
			there are certain areas set aside purely for sisters, especially if you're going into Stanford
house, there are sisters mothers who are looking out or nursing their babies. And we want to be very
careful even if we are husbands and brothers before going in we try to announce our presence. So
somebody at the door might be say, oh brothers are coming so they quickly cover up or you don't go
in and see perhaps how you would not like to see your your wife or daughter in that state in front
of another man. So just be aware of this little things. There's no complaint nobody's complaining
anything. It's just I think we haven't taken enough precautions and preparation to arrange this

00:04:52 --> 00:05:00
			properly. Because the nature of the event is a family experience you can't avoid but be but on that
side, the sister side there is an area and we'll try and

00:05:00 --> 00:05:15
			Coney dogs, families, they can sit together man woman, that's fine but one area is purely sisters.
We try not to intrude into that area without do kind of like procedure. inshallah, I'll hand you
over now to a brother of mine and check Sergeant O'Hara. Thank you.

00:05:36 --> 00:05:36
			Are we good?

00:05:39 --> 00:05:47
			speller salatu salam ala rasulillah. Dear brothers and sisters, welcome to the first session of day

00:11:45 --> 00:11:47
			as to what follows.

00:11:48 --> 00:12:43
			I would like to start off by expressing my heartfelt gratitude, to gms to its director, a woman to
Sarah, for sharing me, this invite to be with you all, this 2012 ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to also
bless gmass and bless you all as investors to this particular conference and inshallah, as the talk
goes along, you will understand why I have called you investors in sha Allah, and ask Allah subhanho
wa Taala to make us a gathering that is surrounded by angels, to make us a gathering that he is a
good word and follows it and ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make us a gathering that is forgiven
upon our departure, as well as I asked Allah subhanho wa Taala together as engender in the same way

00:12:43 --> 00:12:45
			that he has gathered us here today. I mean,

00:12:46 --> 00:12:47
			first things first,

00:12:49 --> 00:13:02
			are servants of Allah. And that is that our presence here at this particular conference is solely to
worship Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is something that we need to

00:13:03 --> 00:13:30
			keep manifestly alive in our hearts. We're here to learn, yes, but that is a secondary objective.
We're here to meet our fellow Muslim Brothers, and for the sisters to meet their fellow Muslim
sisters. But that is a third party objective. The primary focus of your attendance here is the
worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala. You have to believe that from the time you left your home,

00:13:31 --> 00:13:39
			during the travel that you experience coming here, during the days that you will stay at this
particular venue. You are in the worship of Allah.

00:13:40 --> 00:13:50
			Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah kaha your presence here is a means of building your paradise. Your
presence here is a means of making your skills weighty on the day of

00:13:51 --> 00:14:40
			your presence here is not in vain. And Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah does not allow the good of
those that do good to go astray Subhana Allah, may Allah subhanho wa Taala accept our deeds, and May
Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive our mistakes, indeed, he's upon or labor. I mean, the topic I shared
with you earlier, is having faith in an eternal life, as well as achieving freedom from eternal
despair. And as someone said, just before I walked into the venue, the topic itself is a lecture.
Right? The wordings of the topic is a lecture in and of itself. And this is a very clear in the fact
that Islam and our sources has shared wholesome lessons pertaining to

00:14:42 --> 00:14:59
			both the titles that I've read to you. So there's two titles that have come together and in reality,
we could actually have two separate talks regarding this but nonetheless, it is but an important
inclusion Alhamdulillah in the list of topics for this year's conference, and inshallah We ask Allah
subhana wa

00:15:00 --> 00:15:18
			Allah to grant us the ability to do some form of justice to it. I mean, so once again, having faith
for an eternal life and achieving freedom from eternal despair. Now, my dear brothers and sisters,
my dear mother, mothers and fathers, that which there's no doubt in

00:15:19 --> 00:15:22
			that which there is no doubt in is that we

00:15:23 --> 00:15:40
			will live two lives, we will live two lives, a life which is temporary, and a life which is eternal,
a life which is temporary, and a life which is eternal. And

00:15:41 --> 00:16:31
			we understand the reality of the temporary life when we study the Islamic sources. And we hear for
example, the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala. When he said, in the comedian, or in the home by the
tune, Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed to his prophet that you will die and they will die. And Allah
subhanho wa Taala said, could lunasin the equitable mode, Allah subhanho wa Taala said that every
soul shall taste death. And if we look at the teachings of Mohammed, Abdullah sallallahu alayhi
wasallam and let us ensure that when we hear the word Muhammad, we say sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
as this is from the rights and manners and etiquettes with our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu

00:16:31 --> 00:17:22
			alayhi wa sallam, when we look at his teachings are servants of Allah, and O Children of Adam, we
find several a prophetic narration that makes manifest the temporary nature of our life in this
world. So for example, he advised us by saying, Lucky numata comme la Ilaha, Illallah, he sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam said that we should make our dying, repeat the statement, La ilaha illa Allah. So
the fact that he taught us this lesson, teaches us the temporary nature of this life, of the
temporary life, which is one of the two lives that I shared with you earlier. And this was manifest
amongst people in general, or this understanding of a life being temporary, was manifest in people

00:17:23 --> 00:17:57
			in general. So we find the statement of a poet, an Arabian poet, when he said, Alamo to Babylon
workqueue, NASA, hello, that death is a door. And each and every one of us will walk through that
door. very eloquent words, and words that really strike a nerve within ourselves. It brings forth an
awareness and acute awareness and an understanding that each and every one of us will die. And this
is something which we have witnessed, and our sources are indeed enough for us.

00:17:58 --> 00:18:09
			Also sevens have a lot and oh, children have Adam, that which there is no doubting is that we have
an everlasting life awaiting us.

00:18:10 --> 00:18:14
			We have an everlasting life, awaiting us.

00:18:15 --> 00:18:18
			For Allah subhanho wa Taala said, we're in an

00:18:19 --> 00:18:20
			era

00:18:22 --> 00:19:12
			that indeed, the life of the Hereafter is forever. Allah subhanho wa Taala your Creator and my
Creator, the Lord of the worlds are blessed that he will Joanne Allahu kahar the only one worthy of
worship the irresistible ahead alpha summit, Allah The Lamia lead, will amulet Willem yaku. And
ahead sapan, who were to Allah, glory and Exalted be his mentioned, told us that the life of the
Hereafter is indeed forever. And as believers in the words of our Creator, and in the authenticity
of the Quran, that it is the unchanged word of Allah subhanho wa Taala. We believe without doubt
that the life of the Hereafter is eternal, the life of the year after is everlasting.

00:19:13 --> 00:19:17
			Now that we've brought about the fact that

00:19:18 --> 00:19:47
			we will live two lives, we need to also remind one another, that mankind differed in the
understanding regarding the reality of life, the reality of life, and you can write life in capital
letters. They differ in the understanding of the reality of life. So, we have a group that thought
life was the life of this world.

00:19:49 --> 00:20:00
			They thought that life was the life of this world. So they forgot about the concept of boundaries.
And they did everything in their capacity.

00:20:00 --> 00:20:10
			to quench the thirst of their desires to satisfy their whims to complete their fancies.

00:20:11 --> 00:20:26
			And that made sense, because they made the concept of life this temporary life. So, the net result
of that is doing everything in our capacity to achieve all our ones before this life is taken away.

00:20:28 --> 00:20:34
			They sacrificed everything important for that which they thought was important.

00:20:35 --> 00:20:57
			They sacrificed everything that was important for that which was important, and they lived their
lives as a result in Oblivion, in Oblivion, a state of heedlessness a state where they were governed
by the whims and fancies and there was no concept of responsibility, no concept of accountability
that mattered to them.

00:20:58 --> 00:21:11
			Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about these people. In his book, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, fella
to urge ibuka Mr. Lu home oil.

00:21:12 --> 00:21:24
			Ola do to whom in you read Allahu Li zeba whom beha Phil hayati dounia

00:21:26 --> 00:21:30
			foo whom or whom caffee rune.

00:21:32 --> 00:22:00
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says regarding these people who thought that the true life was the life of
this world, Allah said, Do not become fascinated and did not become amazed by their wealth, their
financial standing, their material well being and do not become amazed as well, regarding their
children. It is only that Allah subhanho wa Taala wants to punish them

00:22:01 --> 00:22:22
			with the financial standing and material well being wants to punish them with the children that has
blessed them. So panela wealth, which everyone knows is a means of goodness, right? Nobody says no
to wealth, right? Everybody is trying to increase the material well, being nobody's trying to
decrease it. Nobody stands up one day and says, You know what?

00:22:23 --> 00:22:41
			I've had enough of earning money. I want to become bankrupt. Does anybody say that? So how does that
work that Allah subhanho wa Taala says that Allah only wants to punish them with their wealth. What
does haka and foster home or home coffee ruin, and they are from the disbelievers.

00:22:43 --> 00:23:27
			Now, obviously, Allah gave them the blessings. And these were people who didn't know boundaries. So
they use these blessings in a way which contradicted the teachings of Allah subhanho wa Taala and
the teachings of His Beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So they lived lives
without boundaries, and they were given only to indulge even more in their disobedience, only to
indulge even more in their disbelief, and as a result of the extreme indulgence, the punishment in
the real life which is the life of the laughter increased, does that make sense? This is what Allah
subhanho wa Taala says about them. Allah subhanho wa Taala says about them from our behead tiara to

00:23:27 --> 00:23:45
			whom, American Almighty Allah subhanho wa Taala says the trade was not blessed with any real profit.
Their trade was not blessed with any real Prophet, and they were from the misguided. In fact, Allah
subhanho wa Taala says, They traded the greater for the lesser.

00:23:46 --> 00:23:52
			They sold the hereafter for a paltry price of this temporary life.

00:23:53 --> 00:23:58
			We Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all. Allah subhanho wa Taala says and sort of out there

00:23:59 --> 00:24:07
			eloquently and the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala all eloquent, Allah subhanho wa Taala says,
yeah.

00:24:10 --> 00:24:12
			In our adult life, he has

00:24:14 --> 00:24:16
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says, O mankind,

00:24:17 --> 00:24:26
			O mankind. Now, Allah subhanho wa Taala at times addresses the believers in his book here Allah
subhanho wa Taala says all mankind,

00:24:28 --> 00:24:36
			Allah is addressing everybody, O mankind. Indeed, the promise of Allah is help.

00:24:38 --> 00:24:40
			is true and in truth.

00:24:41 --> 00:24:52
			When Allah subhanho wa Taala advises us and says, fella, tell run is to do Nia Allah say so don't
become diluted.

00:24:54 --> 00:24:59
			With regards to the life of this world, it is only but a deception to not become diluted.

00:25:00 --> 00:25:13
			Regarding the life of this world, well, Yahoo run Billa Hill Haru and do not become deceived by the
deceiver, who is shaped by

00:25:14 --> 00:25:27
			the devil. So Allah subhanho wa Taala teaches us and he advises us and he reminds us regarding the
plight of those who made this life, their true life.

00:25:28 --> 00:25:31
			May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us the understanding, I mean,

00:25:32 --> 00:25:40
			now, as we have a group who are misguided in the understanding of life, we have another group,

00:25:41 --> 00:26:05
			we have another group, and this group hit the nail on the spot, when they took to task the concept
of understanding the reality of life, and they considered life the life of the hereafter. Again life
in capital letters if they considered life, the life of the hereafter.

00:26:08 --> 00:26:57
			And because of this, they remembered the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
when he said, couldn't fit dounia Kanika Sharif, or Abu Seville, that remain in this world, as if
you are a traveler, or a wayfarer. We know that when we travel, we pack only what we need. We don't
indulge and sort of pack access to our requirements because travel is difficult. The airlines only
give us 20 kgs. Right. And if we overweight, it's extremely expensive, right? So we pack according
to our requirements. And this is what our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is teaching us
live in this world as if you were a traveler. Don't live as if you settling here.

00:26:58 --> 00:27:30
			Understand that the real life is the life of the hereafter that is a place of settlement, and not
this place. So this group, understood wholesomely the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam, and this group understood when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said hydrogenous,
man, pala amaru, una Emmylou, that the best of all people are those who have been blessed with a
long life and been blessed with good deeds.

00:27:32 --> 00:27:47
			They lived a long life, and they live that long life in the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And they understood the words of our beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he said, Well
shall ness, men pod or Maru wa

00:27:48 --> 00:27:49
			said

00:27:51 --> 00:28:30
			that the worst of all people are those who live a long life, but they live that life in the
disobedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So this is a group, oh seven of Allah, and oh Children of
Adam, who understood the reality of life. Thus, they invested not the word invest, they invested
they health, before sickness, they invested their wealth, before poverty. They invested they youth
before old age, and they invested their free time before they became busy. And they invested their
life before their death.

00:28:33 --> 00:28:39
			This was the net result when the understanding was correct. Now, why do I use the word invest?

00:28:44 --> 00:28:58
			Understand are servants of Allah, no children of Adam, now that you know that the real life is the
life of the hereafter. Understand that this time that we've been given, and this wealth that we've
been given,

00:28:59 --> 00:29:00
			does not belong to us.

00:29:02 --> 00:29:04
			It belongs to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:29:06 --> 00:29:28
			We have been given it and as a result of this, we will be answerable with regards to how we utilize
this time and how we utilize this wealth. If it was our time, and our wealth. Why should we answer
about anything that we do? That makes sense right? Right. If you have 1000 pounds

00:29:30 --> 00:29:33
			I almost said Zimbabwe dollars, but it's non existent.

00:29:35 --> 00:29:37
			If you had 1000 pounds,

00:29:38 --> 00:29:40
			you can spend it how you want.

00:29:41 --> 00:29:44
			I can spend 1000 pounds how I want is that correct?

00:29:46 --> 00:29:54
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says in his book in law hasta la mina mina

00:29:55 --> 00:29:56
			fusa

00:30:00 --> 00:30:00
			Allahu

00:30:03 --> 00:30:13
			Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah says that Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers, their lives and
their wealth in exchange for gender

00:30:14 --> 00:30:22
			in exchange for Jenna, so we took ownership of gender and Allah subhanho wa Taala took ownership of
our life and our wealth.

00:30:24 --> 00:31:13
			Are we all clear on this? Okay, let's move on. Now that we've understood that we don't own our time,
and we don't own our wealth, we should never ever say, we have sacrificed our time. Or we have
sacrificed our wealth when we do that, which is the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is
a common statement nowadays, if you attend the talk, or if somebody donates the speaker, at the end,
we'll say, we thank you for sacrificing your time. And we thank you for sacrificing your wealth. And
we need to put a big X on that particular statement. It's not sacrifice its investment. But I'll
tell you that a little bit later, when you spend a lot of time that he's given us the way he wants

00:31:13 --> 00:31:30
			us to spend that time and his wealth, which is given us the way he wants us to spend that wealth we
have invested, we haven't sacrificed. So that was the sacrifice. If I gave you 1000 pounds, and I
said hold this amount of money, and next week, I will send you

00:31:32 --> 00:31:45
			an instruction of where to deliver that amount. And the following week, I said please go to Brother
with man. And please pass on that amount to him. Do you have the right to go with mine and say he
has 1000 pounds which I have sacrificed?

00:31:46 --> 00:31:49
			Do you stretch your money to sacrifice

00:31:50 --> 00:32:29
			so if this is not our wealth and not our time, it's not ours to sacrifice. When you attend a
conference like this, when you spend in the path of Allah subhanho wa Taala when you spend your day
looking after the commands of Allah subhanho wa Taala you have invested because Allah subhanho wa
Taala is not in need of your piety. His Majesty is great whether you worship him or you don't
worship Him, whether I worship him or I don't worship Him, Allah subhanho wa Taala doesn't need us
to prostrate to increase his rank that how La La quwata illa Billah. When we followed his commands,
Allah subhanahu wa Jalla gave us a big agenda.

00:32:32 --> 00:32:40
			He invested our piety for our benefit La ilaha illa Allah. But when do you really sacrifice

00:32:42 --> 00:33:24
			sacrifice of servants of Allah, and oh Children of Adam happens when you spend this wealth and this
time, which we don't own in the disobedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala because when you do that you
are sacrificing your agenda. You are sacrificing your paradise, when you could be investing and
growing it you are depleting it. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all. So I want you guys to
have this understanding. There is and that's why at the beginning I said you are here to worship
Allah we are investors, and I thank you for investing your time and I asked Allah subhanho wa Taala
to increase your investment. There is no better way to invest our wealth, except in the way of Allah

00:33:25 --> 00:33:27
			azza wa jal Allah, Allahu kaha.

00:33:28 --> 00:34:12
			So servants of Allah, once again, I say, with the correct understanding, this group of people
invested their health before sickness, and they invested their wealth before poverty, and they
invested they youth before they became old. Or they youthfulness and they invested their free time
before they became busy. And they invested their life before their death. Allah subhanho wa Taala
makers from the people of gender, when the time of death applies to us, I mean, so this group of
sevens of Allah and oh Children of Adam and my dear fathers and mothers and my dear brothers and
sisters, this was a group that saw this temporary life as a means to an end and not an end.

00:34:14 --> 00:34:27
			Does that make sense? They saw it as a means to an end and not an end. And as a result, their
spacious homes did not affect them. As with that spacious home,

00:34:28 --> 00:34:59
			they remembered the tightness of the grave. And the bright chandeliers that lit the homes did not
affect them. Because with those chandeliers they remembered the darkness of the grave. So panela and
they preserved or persevered, rather, in all good, as they remembered the words of our beloved
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when he said, la Khurana hadoken Mira maroussi Shia walo an ELT
a haka. Be watch him

00:35:00 --> 00:35:14
			Pollock, and another in another narration Pollock. And in another narration pulk. In any case, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, Do not belittle any good deed, do not belittle any good
deed, even if it is

00:35:16 --> 00:35:21
			a matter of meeting your fellow brother with a smiley face with a happy face

00:35:23 --> 00:35:26
			Subhanallah today, how do we meet people

00:35:28 --> 00:36:14
			with a serious face, right? We should meet them with a happy face, because meeting them with a happy
face is an investment. So when you understand where you are, and you understand where you will
travel to, and you understand how to get there successfully, you have become a person who lives
their life with perspective, because that's what perspective is with clarity. And because that's
what clarity is, right? You know where you are, you know where you're going, and you know how to get
there successfully, because everybody will get there. But the question is, who will be successful?
And who won't? My dear brothers and sisters, now that we've affirmed the everlasting nature of the

00:36:14 --> 00:36:15
			hereafter?

00:36:16 --> 00:36:26
			And we've discussed how groups have differed in the understanding of life. Ask the question, why is
belief in the hereafter so important?

00:36:27 --> 00:36:35
			Why is belief in this eternal life? As is one part of this talk today? Why is it so important?

00:36:36 --> 00:36:42
			There's countless pieces of information I can share with you regarding this right. But I'll share
with you some

00:36:43 --> 00:36:51
			belief in the year after dear attendees is a momentous concept in our lives with uncountable
benefits.

00:36:52 --> 00:37:17
			And that is why Allah subhanho wa Taala made belief in the last day which denotes the beginning of
the hereafter a pillar from the pillars of Eman a pillar from the pillars of Eman And Allah subhanho
wa Taala says in the second use laser era and to elude you Hakuna kibaale machete well malherbe
Allah Kindle dear man am Anna Billa William Allah,

00:37:18 --> 00:37:30
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says piety, laser Pura and to elude you have compiled he's not from turning
your faces towards the east and the west. But true piety

00:37:31 --> 00:37:49
			is in believing in Allah subhanho wa Taala and the last day and Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in
it, some other pillars from the pillars of Eman in that particular ayah. So Allah subhanho wa Taala
clearly tells us that it is from piety, and it is from better to believe in the last day.

00:37:51 --> 00:38:00
			Believing in the last day of servants of Allah allows us to deal with adversities that we
experienced in this temporary life. It truly does.

00:38:01 --> 00:38:07
			Imagination if somebody oppressors and oppressors and oppressors and oppressors, and then they just
dropped it.

00:38:10 --> 00:38:13
			After all the hurt that you feel and the oppression that they've done to you,

00:38:15 --> 00:38:25
			wouldn't that be a bigger problem for you? That that's it, it is dropped dead. They did what they
did, and they oppressed and they stole and they usurped

00:38:26 --> 00:38:27
			and they might have killed

00:38:29 --> 00:38:43
			and they just dropped dead? Doesn't that create a bigger problem in our minds and hearts? Way is the
form of justice here. Right? And mankind by nature, it is part of our natural disposition to

00:38:45 --> 00:38:51
			do everything in our capacity to attain justice, even the two year old child

00:38:52 --> 00:38:53
			wants justice.

00:38:55 --> 00:38:58
			So hey, no, let me tell you why.

00:39:00 --> 00:39:03
			When the two year old child is walking, and he bumps his head on the wall, for example,

00:39:04 --> 00:39:43
			he starts crying, isn't it? What do you do to stop the child crying? You hit the wall, naughty wall,
the child is happy. hamdulillah justice, right? Although you shouldn't do that, that's bad. That's
bad, because then you teach the child that when you get hurt, you should hit people, right? Because
the child learns that Oh, that's what my mother does. She hit the wall. When somebody hits me, I'm
gonna hit him as well. So we should that's bad. That's not the ideal way of dealing with the
situation. But that's to do with another topic, so we won't discuss that. So, believing the
hereafter helps us understand this concept of justice and it helps add peace in our lives because we

00:39:43 --> 00:39:59
			know we will go to a date in which no operation will take place and pure justice will exist and
Allah subhanho wa Taala will take each and every body to task each and every one will be taken to
task. So hon Allah so we

00:40:00 --> 00:40:09
			This belief in the last day indeed as peace and contentment to our lives, belief in the last day
weakens the trials and tribulations that we face in this world.

00:40:11 --> 00:40:47
			By Allah does, because we know that if we are patient in our adversities, then Allah subhanho wa
Taala will reward us with a greater price with a greater price. So panela it's not a concept of we
suffering in this world. And that's it. No, your difficulty is a means of greatness for yourself. So
be a person of resilience in your difficulty and maintain patience. And this can only happen based
on the strength of your belief in the last day. We have heard people say, may Allah protect us all?
Why does Allah subhanho wa Taala do this to us?

00:40:49 --> 00:40:58
			With the goodness in such and such an act, for example, this are these statements are a clear sign
of lack of belief in the last day.

00:40:59 --> 00:41:02
			That's where the problem is. Many people ask how do we solve the problem?

00:41:04 --> 00:41:16
			You solve the problem through teaching them the reality. But before that, there's a step. You have
to solve that problem through building email. You have to solve that problem through building a man.
May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us the understanding,

00:41:17 --> 00:42:03
			believe in the hereafter servants of Allah, and our children of Adam helps us understand really,
this concept of loss, that loss in this world is actually a game. It's not a loss. And true loss is
the loss of the after. We lose something in this world, it is a game. It's not a loss. Because
mankind by default, when they a business deal goes back, there's a recession and investment went
down, they say has hurt. I mean a loss kossuth I mean a loss. If the home has a difficulty,
something happened in the home, I have lost. If the business engagement didn't go too well. They
could say I have lost but a person who really believes in the last day truly understands the concept

00:42:03 --> 00:42:48
			of loss, and doesn't say I have lost rather they say Alhamdulillah he and Aquila pray all praises
belong to Allah subhanho wa Taala in every circumstance for whatever Allah does, he does good and
the good in the difficulty that I'm experiencing. Now I may not comprehend, but there is a day that
will come in which I will understand the reality of this difficulty. May Allah subhanho wa Taala
grant us this understanding. So these are some of the reasons why we should be diligent with regards
to our belief in the last day. Now, as for the second part of this talk, and that is achieving
freedom from eternal despair, achieving freedom from eternal despair. When Oh servants of Allah, no

00:42:48 --> 00:42:58
			children of Adam, and my dear mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters know and understand that
achieving freedom from eternal despair is the essence of our life in this world.

00:43:00 --> 00:43:02
			People always ask, Who is the successful one?

00:43:04 --> 00:43:05
			Who is the successful one?

00:43:07 --> 00:43:14
			Listen to what Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Allah subhanho wa Taala says coluna have seen

00:43:16 --> 00:43:21
			a particular mode we're in to a phone at

00:43:25 --> 00:43:26
			Furman

00:43:35 --> 00:43:39
			or Mel hyah to do Nia Illa Mehta.

00:43:42 --> 00:44:15
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says every soul shall taste death. Were in me to a phoner will do the Camino
milk am belief in the last day and indeed, the rewards of your deeds will be shown to you on the day
of the AMA the last day for menza annina. As for the one who has freed himself from the Hellfire,
who has been saved rather from the Hellfire, what would the halal agenda and has been entered into
Jenna for God fest? He is the one who has indeed passed.

00:44:17 --> 00:44:30
			He is the one who has indeed succeeded. Woman hire to do near illimitable horror and there's nothing
about this temporary life that you live in, except deception. It's glitter and glamour, but it's not
going to last.

00:44:34 --> 00:45:00
			So what do we need to do to ensure that we are from the successful ones in the draft? What do we
need to do? Well, we can generalize that statement and say that what we have to do is accept the
oneness of Allah subhanahu Wata and accept the prophecy of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam and
accepting the prophecy of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam entails doing this

00:45:00 --> 00:45:44
			dues and staying away from the don'ts. Right? A person who lives their life this way, stands a great
chance of succeeding in the hereafter. Even though we should understand that it is not our deeds
that will gain us entry into paradise, it is the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala that will gain us
entry into paradise. Understand this well and clear are servants of Allah, we have to work, we have
to obey the commands and stay away from that which we have been warned against. But never, ever
forget that entry into gender * to succeed in the Hereafter, is directly proportional to the
amount of mercy that Allah subhanho wa Taala showers upon us on that day, because we know ourselves

00:45:44 --> 00:45:52
			that even our worship lacks, we observe Salah our concentration is weak, right? We do an act of good

00:45:53 --> 00:45:56
			and sometimes we feel that we have

00:45:57 --> 00:46:07
			achieved and attained and that is a dangerous feeling. And sometimes we do good. And there is
weakness in terms of our sincerity regarding the good that we have done.

00:46:08 --> 00:46:39
			So it is the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala that dictates that we enter agenda and understand that
we will always be in debt to Allah subhanho wa Taala we will never ever pay Allah subhanho wa Taala
back. And I'm not talking on the literal sense because we know Allah has given us a breath. So
that's a blessing and everyday we breathe every second we breathe in a second maybe we breathe many
more times. So we always in debt, I'm talking about us being in debt in the fact that when you
worship Allah, He rewarded you.

00:46:41 --> 00:46:42
			So you indebted to him.

00:46:44 --> 00:46:52
			And then you thank Allah subhanho wa Taala for allowing you to worship Him. And He rewarded you for
that. Thanks. So you're in debt again.

00:46:54 --> 00:47:02
			So you thank Allah subhanho wa Taala for allowing you to thank him for allowing you to worship Him,
and He rewarded you again. So you're in debt again.

00:47:03 --> 00:47:20
			You will never ever say Allah subhanho wa Taala back we will always be in debt to Allah subhanho wa
Taala just understand it is the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala that dictates our entry into gender
May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us from the people of gender. I mean, so this is a general

00:47:23 --> 00:47:32
			kinda a general principle, a general rule for us to attain salvation in the hereafter. But allow me
to speak about one particular act of worship

00:47:34 --> 00:47:56
			before our time runs out. And this act of worship is the most important act of worship. And Allah
subhanho wa Taala has placed it as the second pillar of Islam after two hit. After two hit, of
course, the hit is the essence of everything. But as believers there's one act of worship we should
never, ever, ever be lacs with. And that is

00:47:58 --> 00:47:58
			that is

00:48:00 --> 00:48:13
			hungry. I think we can close the talk we all know it. That is Salah, a salatu salam, O servants of
Allah and oh Children of Adam, understand that this Salah is the essence

00:48:15 --> 00:48:16
			with regards to

00:48:18 --> 00:48:34
			being salvaged in the afternoon, for our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that the first
thing that Allah subhanho wa Taala will ask about the first deed is your Salah. And if your Salah
passes the test, all your other deeds will stand upright.

00:48:35 --> 00:48:50
			You're fasting, your charity, your hedge, you're smiling, when you meet when you met your fellow
Muslim brother and so on and so forth. All those deeds will stand upright only after your Salah
stands up right in front of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:48:51 --> 00:48:55
			and if the Salah doesn't stand, then none of the deeds will stand.

00:48:59 --> 00:49:07
			This Salah is so important are servants of Allah, and all children of Adam, that Allah subhanho wa
Taala brought his messenger

00:49:08 --> 00:49:09
			to him

00:49:10 --> 00:49:17
			to grant him this gift of Salah. All the other obligations were revealed to Muhammad sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam whilst he was on Earth.

00:49:19 --> 00:49:52
			This is the essence of Salah. This Salah are servants of Allah, and oh Children of Adam, was the
advice of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam when he was on his deathbed for he said a salatu
salam look after your Salah. Look after your Salah. The Salah are servants of Allah and O Children
of Adam, is the greatest opportunity for us to be closest to Allah subhanho wa Taala for the closest
that a slave is to his creator is when he or she is in prostration sujood

00:49:53 --> 00:49:59
			May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us death whilst we are Institute what an honorable way to die.

00:50:01 --> 00:50:43
			But when we look at the oma, we find with regards to Salah, we can categorize the Ummah into three
groups, we can categorize the Ummah into three groups. So we sadly have a group that consists of
individuals that have never placed their forehead on the ground for Allah subhanho wa Taala. They
don't know. They've never tasted the sweetness of sujood of putting their forehead, which is the
most elevated part of the body, on the ground for the sake of the Lord of the worlds. They've never
done that. And may Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us from this group. This is a group of servants
of Allah,

00:50:45 --> 00:51:14
			that have not comprehended the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah, Allah, Allah ik and whomever
uzun Leo mina alvim Yama como nurse lira, Al Ameen, Allah Subhana Allah to Allah says Allah, Allah
Do they not think? Do they not think and assume that they will be returned to Allah subhanho wa
Taala and resurrected on the last day and our topic is about the last day and believe in eternal
life.

00:51:15 --> 00:51:21
			Leo min Avi him on the day of the AMA Yama commonness, the day in which people

00:51:22 --> 00:51:23
			will be

00:51:24 --> 00:51:29
			or will stand rather in front of the Lord of the worlds Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:51:31 --> 00:51:39
			Allah subhanho wa Taala servants of Allah tells us in his book, so beautiful, so beautiful Allah
subhanho wa Taala says

00:51:40 --> 00:51:41
			lm Tara

00:51:43 --> 00:51:46
			is jus doula who is

00:51:47 --> 00:51:52
			the woman fill out all the UI shampoo one comma one?

00:51:54 --> 00:52:01
			Or shampoo one comma one new Jumanji? balou ashirwad

00:52:03 --> 00:52:04
			Booyah. Kathy.

00:52:08 --> 00:52:08
			What Kathy.

00:52:12 --> 00:52:15
			Kathy, you don't have Carla? He lives

00:52:23 --> 00:52:33
			in La Jolla fry. Luma Yesha isn't what Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Allah says, Do you not see
that?

00:52:37 --> 00:52:41
			Everything in the skies and everything on earth,

00:52:42 --> 00:52:56
			and the sun and the moon, and the stars and the mountains and the trees and the animals, prostrate
to Allah subhanho wa Taala. Everything proceeds to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:52:57 --> 00:53:05
			But when Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about mankind, what did he say? What can he roominess? He
didn't say all of mankind, he said many of mankind

00:53:09 --> 00:53:10
			and we are

00:53:12 --> 00:53:29
			the being of intellect, we have the brain and the intellectuality to allow us to understand what we
should be doing and what we shouldn't be doing. Yet Allah says the animals all prostrate but with
regards to mankind, most prostrate a lot of mankind prostrate.

00:53:31 --> 00:53:36
			And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, well, Catherine haka Allah Hill up and for many

00:53:37 --> 00:53:38
			great punishment

00:53:40 --> 00:53:52
			or may you have any left and as for the one that Allah disgraces, for mela hoomin mccrum there is no
one who can give this person en la ilaha illa Allah May Allah human Muslim, if Allah does Grace's
you no one will give you Allah

00:53:53 --> 00:53:57
			in Allah if Allah Masha and Indeed Allah does as he was.

00:53:58 --> 00:54:07
			So this is the first group of servants of Allah and oh Children of Adam, and we ask Allah subhanho
wa Taala protection from this group. The second group of people with regards to Salah

00:54:11 --> 00:54:20
			the second group of people with regards to Salah consists of a group I'm rushing a little bit
because I've been given a letter here that I'm supposed to stop just now.

00:54:22 --> 00:54:31
			The second group of people consists of those who observe the Salah Al Hamdulillah. They observe
their Salah however, however,

00:54:32 --> 00:54:43
			they observe their saara when they finish working, and they observe their Salah when they finish
playing, and they observe their Salah when it suits them.

00:54:45 --> 00:54:49
			And we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala again to protect us from this group.

00:54:51 --> 00:54:59
			Have they not heard we Allah subhanho wa Taala said for a little mousseline and levena home and
select him soon that will be upon those

00:55:00 --> 00:55:03
			observe this fella after it's fixed and prescribed times.

00:55:05 --> 00:55:31
			Have they not heard we Allah subhanho wa Taala said for Hello from embody him holophone of our
Salah, whatever Shahada for so for yellowkorner idea that after the messengers and the rightly
guided people came a generation of people that wasted their salah and follow their desires and they
will be flung into the depths of Jannah May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us. So we ask Allah
subhanho wa Taala again, to protect us from this group.

00:55:32 --> 00:55:48
			The third group of people consists of a group that we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make us from
them. They are a group that observe their Salah on time, every time on time, every time.

00:55:50 --> 00:55:59
			They never, ever delayed during the early hours of the mornings if you pass the homes, you see the
light switch on and you hear movements in their homes.

00:56:01 --> 00:56:49
			And this is throughout their beat in the winter, or beat in the summer. No matter how early failure
is, or no matter how late it is, no matter how hot the night is on no matter how cold the night is.
These are people who are upon their Salawat on time, every time for they understood when Allah
subhanho wa Taala said was before the Serbian when Allah subhanho wa Taala praise the competitors in
his worship Allah equal makara boon they understood when Allah said these competitors are from the
close ones. These are people who understood that Allah subhanho wa Taala said what a HELOC beside it
was Toby rally her learner's Luca is con una Zopa will Arqiva to the taco. They understood when

00:56:49 --> 00:57:34
			Allah subhanho wa Taala said command your families to Salah was Sabir Allah and be patient upon
that. Lana's Luca respond we do not ask you for sustenance. Now, we are the ones who provide you
your sustenance will go to the taco. And the good ending is for the people of taqwa. May Allah
subhanho wa Taala make us from the Mattoon. I mean, so this really brings us back to the concept of
having faith for an eternal life and achieving freedom from eternal despair. Because here are
servants of Allah. Allah subhanho wa Taala teaches us that your aim and objective in this world is
not to feed yourself. Your aim and objective in this world is to earn the hereafter. And this was

00:57:34 --> 00:57:39
			manifest in the pious predecessors before us, once a person came to

00:57:40 --> 00:58:18
			one of the pious predecessors and complained about the high cost of living said, You know what,
prices are going up, the cost of living has increased. And this person responded to him and said, I
don't know what you're talking about earlier, and our Buddha who came Imani or LA he? Can he come
our identity, it is for me to worship Allah as he commanded me to do and it is for Allah to provide
for me as he is promised to provide for me. And this doesn't mean we should sit at home with our
mouths open and expect food to fly from the heavens into our bellies now, doesn't mean that what
we're saying is we should get our priorities correct and right.

00:58:19 --> 00:58:33
			We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make us from amongst those that have strong belief in their after,
who are always upon their Salah, and upon the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala I will end off

00:58:34 --> 00:58:36
			with a passage.

00:58:37 --> 00:59:17
			And I have to end up with this passage, because we're not here to put people into despair, the topic
is achieving freedom from eternal despair. So how can I come here and put you into despair? That
wouldn't make sense, isn't it? I'm not here to hand anybody first class tickets on Emirates to the
fire of janam. Absolutely not. So I must say this bit before ending off. And that is my dear
brothers and sisters, my dear mothers and fathers never ever lose hope in the mercy of Allah
subhanho wa Taala. Don't feel that now we've categorized people with regards to this salah and we
may not be as diligent as we supposed to be that we are people heading for eternal doom. And we

00:59:17 --> 00:59:34
			don't have the ability, the abilities to achieve freedom from eternal despair. Don't ever feel that
for as long as you are breathing you have a chance to turn back to Allah subhanho wa Taala as long
as you are breathing, you have a chance to turn back to Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:59:35 --> 00:59:40
			I said this in the Juma yesterday I missed your taco and I'll share with you this hadith again.

00:59:41 --> 00:59:58
			My dear brothers and sisters who is the one who says you have been Adam lo Bella had Zulu bukan and
his summer semester authority Lila LA to Haleakala Valley, who is the one who says Oh son of Adam,
if your sins were so many that they reach the surfaces of the skies.

01:00:01 --> 01:00:08
			Then you sought forgiveness for your sins. Allah says I will forgive your sins for you and it won't
even matter to me.

01:00:09 --> 01:00:10
			Who says this?

01:00:11 --> 01:00:23
			In the hola indeed it is Allah subhanho wa Taala Who is the one who says you have an Adam? Oh son of
Adam, in the owner be lazy when the half an Uber, Jimmy and foster Rooney

01:00:24 --> 01:01:04
			Who is the one who says Oh son of Adam, you send throughout the day and you send throughout the
night? Well, and Jamie is Allah who forgives all sins, foster fury, so seek forgiveness, repent,
from your sense of love, and I forgive your sins for you. Who says this? Indeed, it is Allah who
says, never bear a baddie. Annie and aloha for Rahim, who is the one who commanded His Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to tell us that Allah subhanho wa Taala is the most forgiving, the Most
Merciful.

01:01:05 --> 01:01:24
			Never, ever lose hope in Allah subhanho wa Taala. In authentic hadith, it is mentioned that makes a
mistake. He makes a mistake. So he turns to Allah subhanho wa Taala and he says you're a be a snip
to them when properly Oh Allah, I have committed a sin Forgive me.

01:01:25 --> 01:01:29
			So Allah subhanho wa Taala tells his angels bear witness that I forgiven him.

01:01:31 --> 01:01:35
			And then the slave falls into the same mistake again.

01:01:37 --> 01:01:55
			He just sought forgiveness from it, and he fell into the same mistake again. So he turns to Allah
subhanho wa Taala and says Yara be a snap to them and fulfill. Oh my god, I have earned I have made
an error. I have sinned Forgive me. Allah subhanho wa Taala tells the angels bear witness I have
forgiven him.

01:01:56 --> 01:01:59
			And then he makes the mistake again.

01:02:00 --> 01:02:10
			And he turns to Allah subhanho wa Taala again, and he says, Yeah, Rob be as nice to them and
clearly. Oh my Rob, I have sinned. Forgive me.

01:02:13 --> 01:02:21
			What do you think Allah subhanho wa Taala says, third time, mistake after mistake after mistake.
What do you think Allah subhanho wa Taala says?

01:02:23 --> 01:02:23
			Now

01:02:26 --> 01:03:14
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says, to His angels, bear witness, and bear witness that this slave of mine
believes that he has a creator, a lord who is capable over him who can hold him to task for his
mistakes. And he believes that his creator is the most forgiving the Most Merciful, bear witness
that from today the slave is forgiven for whatever he does. La ilaha illAllah La ilaha illa Allah,
all sevens have a line or children of Adam, how can you lose hope in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa
Taala never ever become despondent? Never, ever live your life in a state where you feel you have
not achieved salvation from eternal despair. I hope these few words at the end has balanced the

01:03:14 --> 01:03:40
			topic and you walk out of this room happy feeling more content and understanding that not only do
you have a chance to get gender, but you have a chance to get gender with Muhammad Ali Abdullah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, I ended up with an idea. And this idea is an idea of hope. The allameh
have said this idea is an idea of hope. And this idea is in Surah, to Zuma for those who want to
revise it, and it is where Allah subhanho wa Taala says

01:03:41 --> 01:03:45
			bolia eba de la Vina as rafiu

01:03:46 --> 01:03:51
			fusi him la takanobu Mirage Mati la

01:03:53 --> 01:04:31
			in La Jolla. firuz. Uber Jamia in ah hoo hoo, Rahim. Allah subhanho wa Taala commands our beloved
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Allah subhanho wa Taala tells him that inform my slaves inform
all those who have wronged themselves a Seraph, who Allah unfussy him, they send and send and send.
Tell them let me Rahmatullah never ever lose hope in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala never ever
live a life in despair in the La Jolla Luba Jamia Indeed Allah subhanho wa Taala will forgive all
your sins wholesale

01:04:32 --> 01:04:59
			quicker than the blink of an eye in the Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa Rahim. Indeed he is the most
forgiving, the Most Merciful. I love you all for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala. I asked Allah
subhanho wa Taala to grant us a life of two hidden salah and all the acts of obedience. ask Allah
subhanho wa Taala to make us a people that never ever look at the small size of the sin, but rather
look at the majesty of the one that we are sinning against. ask Allah subhanho wa Taala

01:05:00 --> 01:05:07
			Make us live a life that when we were born, we came into this world crying, and people around us was
smiling.

01:05:08 --> 01:05:43
			asked a lot to give us a life that when we die, we leave this world smiling once people around us
cry at our departure, ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to grant us a grave which is a garden from the
gardens of Jenna, to grant a shade underneath his option that you have piano together as all

of Allah. Everything corrected is from Allah subhanho wa Taala and he is perfect at any mistakes
from myself and Siobhan and I see colossal panda who attalus forgiveness until Allah subhanho wa
