00:00:00 --> 00:00:34
			From the Omega world today at number 20 of Ramadan 360. Today we're going to have on the schedule
Sheikh Omar Shoukry. And of course our beloved Sheikh said this theme for our chronic reflection
sessions. Sheikh Omar is going to be speaking on the topic of partner in crime and we were just
talking in zoom about those who's taken his classes before and those who are which which classes
you've enjoyed his majesty and a mindful Salah are the first two we don't have this offered right
now but a venom in the sand was one of my top 10 classes as well in terms of practical application
especially for the youth Alhamdulillah and I'm super excited for che for Mark to finally be with us

00:00:34 --> 00:01:09
			he actually we ended up switching his session where like where is she? Why are we usually we have
him far earlier in the Ramadan 360 program. He's a he's a staple of hamdulillah for us. If those of
you might remember I don't think it was last year so you guys can correct me or if it was a year
before that he did the series on the names of Allah was it last year you got 2021 peeps let me know
in sha Allah, which year it was and if you were there for that as well. Basically even just right
now it's upon Allah I watch a lot of the His Majesty class which is on the names of Allah,
especially because she Kumar so especially when I'm stressed that I'm Russia, I'm bothered I always

00:01:09 --> 00:01:42
			have this saved in my internet kind of thingy on my phone. So I always pull up that class when I'm
like stressing when I was trying to make sure that I could get back in time for this session. And I
was like listening to His Majesty lesson. I think module number four lesson number five I think I'm
the name of Allah Allah career. So so how to live it comes it's full circle hamdulillah every time
we share for more hopefully you guys get a chance to benefit from that class in the future. If you
guys are registering for faith essentials right now don't quote me I'm gonna double check on this
but I do believe that you get access to His Majesty as well which is super sweet so I'm going to

00:01:42 --> 00:02:17
			confirm that for you guys. But if you get the get that opportunity that class is not available right
now. So definitely jump on that. Mary is saying I took His Majesty on site my first ever course with
Al Maghrib and this is when my life changed Subhanallah that's beautiful. Yes, I've heard your story
once through the All Access Pass community and Masha Allah it still gives me chills Yes, you get His
Majesty behind the scenes and as you are that is an amazing bundle so if you guys aren't registered
for feed central if you're registering for the All Access Pass, you get all of that automatically as
well. But those are some amazing classes to get yourself in the right kind of transformational mood

00:02:17 --> 00:02:51
			right after Ramadan. Yes sir. You do need to get on these courses. They're life changing to say the
very very least Alhamdulillah I'm just gonna check to make sure and check Omar is joining us on
handle right now as well. But I'm glad that you guys are mashallah familiar with his contents on
what if you're an all access member you guys have a bit of a closer relationship with him already
and hamdulillah check Omar has done some exclusive series and he's also part of our member of our
Alex's chat at Hamdulillah. So he keeps us going and keeps us motivated. And now and hamdulillah
he's joining us for the first time for Ramadan 360 Which is super, super exciting. I do want to

00:02:51 --> 00:03:26
			before we get started should give a proper shout out to the awesome people that make her on on 360
possible now that were in the last 10 Nights. Last 10 days of Ramadan are in that final stretch.
Please make sure that you're keeping them you know in your at the top of your mind and especially as
you're trying to up your deeds and up here above and up your charity. Please keep them at the
forefront of your mind. That is of course the H H rd in the US Islamic Relief in Canada and
forgotten women in the UK. And shall you guys get a chance to hear a bit more from them soon. But
for now, let's jump into day number 20 wishek Amara citta Manik and welcome to La chef Omar, how are

00:03:26 --> 00:03:27
			you doing today?

00:03:28 --> 00:03:31
			Well, Jake was set out to live on a car too. How are you doing?

00:03:33 --> 00:04:03
			I'm doing well actually, you know, I expose myself. So I was just telling everybody I was listening
to His Majesty because it does matter. Because you're so you're so smooth and chill and calm and
your speed shift. Even when I listen to you at 1.5 times speed. It's still soothing for me. So I was
running late for this session. I have to choose if I can eat before the session or after and the
last few days I've been doing after and I've been starving and getting late for the hunt on bus and
when I was like you know I'm going to try and make it for before but of course when you don't make
the call when you don't kind of you just think things are gonna be fine. You're scrambling your Uber

00:04:03 --> 00:04:17
			cancels this that happens and you're like oh my god Not again. And it happened that I was listening
I was going through all the the names that I could use in my class pulling up all the lessons in His
Majesty and in the elevators like when I finally stopped I was like hello I'm gonna make it I have
the data. So just like

00:04:19 --> 00:04:28
			how are you doing? How's your mom doing? So that's called ladies and gentlemen that's what we call a
humble brag. I was almost late for the hat on bus the hat on

00:04:31 --> 00:04:37
			nice must be nice to have to catch the how long bus in Ramadan in the last 10 Nights Masha Allah

00:04:39 --> 00:04:41
			except me not a bit item.

00:04:42 --> 00:04:54
			I mean, all right, this villa che we have you for about 40 minutes in this session that Hamdulillah
we can't we can't wait to jump into the session and to learn about your topic, a partner in crime.
I'm interested for this one. So business let's jump right in.

00:04:57 --> 00:04:59
			I'm a partner in crime. So first of all,

00:05:00 --> 00:05:12
			While the biggest question is why it took 20 nights for me to get to join Ramadan 360 They're saving
me for the last 10 nights or something. How's it been going so far guys? Like man

00:05:14 --> 00:05:22
			hope it's been going very well where's everybody joining in from? I don't know if house I did this
already Or is everybody joining in from?

00:05:23 --> 00:05:49
			Welcome welcome? Which city is repping? The hardest or which country is repping? The hardest with
regards to Ramadan? 360 I'm assuming it's the UK because they've already had a thought they're
already London. I go set up race from Connecticut she doesn't rep rep London anymore at all. We call
her CTR is Emraan from Australia or no and I'm from Australia, Australia welcome

00:05:50 --> 00:05:58
			I mean it's looking like it's a US affair to be honest. So looking pretty American right now.
Doubling I even said I'm gonna have to allow welcome.

00:05:59 --> 00:06:09
			Okay, so we're approaching the last 10 Nights. May Allah Subhana Allah accept obviously the Prophet
sallallahu Sallam on the last two nights would approach he would

00:06:11 --> 00:06:58
			shed them Zara Leila what Ada Allah, the prophets of Allah, they are seldom, he would when the last
time nice would come, he would type in his bizarre, his lower garments, meaning he would completely
devote himself to a bada. And he would stay up the entire night. But I had a low and he would stay
up the entire night. And he would wake awake and his family would weaken his family. And so we're
really fortunate to be approaching the last two nights Hamdulillah I keep coming back to this quote
of evening, Josie. He said that if the people of the graves were asked what they would wish for,
they would wish for a day of Ramadan, they would wish for a day of Ramadan. The mercy that

00:06:58 --> 00:07:27
			encompasses us in these days and nights is unimaginable to us. It's unimaginable to us and you have
the opportunity for a night that is equal to the worship of 1000 months, the worship of 1000 months.
So take whatever your month salary is, whatever your month's salary is, and multiply that by 1000.
And you get that in one night. If you want to do the math real quick. Let's say your salary is
$1,000. That is 1000 times 1000 is a million

00:07:28 --> 00:07:51
			and you get that in one night. So whatever you do, of worship in a month, in one night, you get the
worship of 1000 of those months. It's unbelievable opportunity. It's an unbelievable opportunity.
May Allah subhana data make us of those who experienced it in the province little lighthouse and
then he says Mount Carmel a little cutter Amen and watch this happen all theoretical math Academy.

00:07:53 --> 00:08:01
			Whoever experiences in a little Adam II man Munna from California is this Munna from LA from SoCal.

00:08:02 --> 00:08:17
			Whoever of you experiences later to other Eman and YT saben their sins will be forgiven, their sins
will be forgiven. Okay, no problem inshallah. Hello, Santa. It's another one from California. Silly
Mita. Assuming there was only one window in California, there must be a million.

00:08:19 --> 00:08:42
			Okay, so now our story is the story of the Queen of Sheba. It's the story of the Queen of Sheba. And
her story is told entirely installed within them. And so if you want to open up sort of the numbers
to follow along the chapter of the ant, it's the 27th chapter of the Quran. And I believe that the
story begins around the 20th verse, though, don't quote me on that. Absolutely.

00:08:43 --> 00:09:14
			So Allah Subhana Allah, Allah, He says, and by the way, before we begin, guys, I just want to plug
in on motive productions. For those of you I've been busy. This Ramadan with the medium series, I
hope that some of you have been able to see it. If you've seen the medium series, give me a thumbs
up in sha Allah in the chat. But this is the goal was to create something that's next level. And we
want all of our productions to be next level. The idea is, is that Islam

00:09:15 --> 00:09:54
			deserves better educational media. We want to be able to show not just tell up until this point,
Islamic education is always about a chef sitting there and his dad sitting there and his dad is
sitting there in front of a camera and they're just talking. And so they're talking to you about
Jerusalem and they're talking to you about our history and they're talking to you about film and how
to do things and they're doing it in a studio setting and even a studio setting is great hamdulillah
but we want to be able to take it to the next level and really create artistry when it comes to
production really create that which will be very compelling. That which will show you not just tell

00:09:54 --> 00:09:57
			you, that's the idea and shot line. So

00:09:58 --> 00:09:59
			do we have a lunch good

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02
			Okay, so we have the AdMob live.org forward slash give.

00:10:03 --> 00:10:22
			What are we at right now? We are at $65,000. And so hopefully let's let's set a goal for this live
inshallah let's see if we can knock out another $3,000 off this list. How many people do we have on
this live? About? 163? Yeah, let's see if we can knock out another 3000 challah died off with this
live. May Allah Subhana Allah Allah bless you all. So

00:10:23 --> 00:10:25
			we go now to Jerusalem.

00:10:26 --> 00:11:11
			We go now to Jerusalem. And Surah Eman, Allah Subhana Allah says, What who shall only Sudan manage
you know, to whom in a genuine seoclarity For whom you zone? The sequence goes it's it's recounting
today man's incredible blessings you're giving you're getting this scene of this incredible King
who's been blessed and his father has been blessed and he's thankful to Allah Subhana Allah for
that. And then Allah subhana wa Tada says that suit a man gathers all of his army WHAT THE FUCK of a
layup for God Allah mallia Allah Allah Hood Hood Academy Alba Eben Sudha. Eman is missing a bird
from his army. And he says why don't I see the Hood Hood? The hoopoe The hoopoe bird okay, I'm kinda

00:11:11 --> 00:11:30
			Minerva EB. Is he absent? No as the vendor who other than she didn't Oh the advantage oh that
attendees will party movie so should a man with everybody presents his the jinn and the humans and
the player and everybody should so no matter who whom in a genuine issue of lady from userland

00:11:31 --> 00:11:43
			all of his army has presence, but he still misses a single bird. What that immediately shows us so
this is lesson number one we're going to just recount we're going to have running lessons so

00:11:45 --> 00:12:29
			don't ask me to to name you all the lessons but we'll just have a running a running number inshallah
running list. But the first one is missing people. That's the first lesson from this story is to
miss people. So a man misses a single soldier who's a bird. The province of ally they send them in
the campaign of Tobruk has 30,000 people in his army, and he still misses the absence of God with
pneumatic. How does that relate to us? There are people right now tonight's the 20th night of
Ramadan, there are people I guarantee you who you still haven't seen in Ramadan, who you still
haven't seen in Ramadan. And all they might be missing is for somebody to miss them for somebody to

00:12:29 --> 00:12:49
			be like bro, slash sis, where are you been? And then they'll tell you I'm caught up with work. Exams
are super hard this semester. I moved right but it becomes so meaningful that you notice their
absence it becomes so meaningful that you notice their absence there are some people who might have
showed up at the beginning of Ramadan

00:12:51 --> 00:13:31
			but for us a lot of times we don't care about people's absence whether they're present or whether
they're absent it's the same and so we see here both from today man it is and I'm and from the
province of Elijah send them is that they used to they used to notice the absence of their people
they used to notice the absence of their community. And this is something that is so crucial when it
comes to the building of a community when it comes to leadership. There are people who are literally
the only thing stopping them from participating in the community is that nobody notices they're gone
that's it and invitation goes a long way so say man I said I'm says Maria Allahu took Ganymede lava

00:13:31 --> 00:14:13
			is but he threatens the hood. No, I didn't know either. Misha didn't know that but handhold at any
time. Okay, so now the hood comes this bird. I just find it easier to call it Hood Hood than Hoopoe
I don't know if you guys know who pose I don't know who but in any case, I just keep calling it a
hood. So if you hear me saying hood, I mean the bird. Okay. So the bird Macbeth Aveda they're eating
Allah have to be mad, I'm here to be with you to come in southern Indiana entertain. The Bird says I
have encompassed knowledge that you didn't encompass. So now we've got lesson number two. So their
mind is a King who's been given all of this access. And yet a single bird might have information

00:14:13 --> 00:14:49
			might have knowledge that study mind doesn't have. So what does that say about me and you? What does
that say about the person who's an expert in their field, and yet some random person might come to
you with knowledge in your field that you do not know. Or they might have access to information that
will benefit you in your field that you do not know. Or your children might come to you with
information that benefits you. Or somebody who's younger than you might come to you with information
or somebody from who's less educated or whatever. Today man it is set up with everything he has of a
kingdom. This bird comes and with all this audacity says I encompass what you did in encompass.

00:14:50 --> 00:14:59
			Would you come in seven be never in your team? And I came to you from Sabah from Sabah, Bina yaki
Saba Bina

00:15:00 --> 00:15:41
			A beautiful it's rhythmic, okay, that's the day to come in Saba in beneva in yaki. I came to you
from Sabah from Sheba with a nova NOVA is a news it's news I made this I don't I never allow the
okay Nova is news Yaqeen yo k means certain the K means certain. So I've come to you with sure news.
I'm not coming to you with a rumor. I'm not coming to you with some he says he said she said stuff
I'm not coming to you is something that was forwarded to me on a WhatsApp group. I am coming to you
with news that I myself have seen and I have verified. So that teaches us also lesson number three
is the importance of verified news. It's the importance of certainty when it comes to news that

00:15:41 --> 00:16:05
			comes to us. The province of Elijah has said I've said it is sufficient for a person to be a liar
for them to narrate everything that they hear. I say it again. It is sufficient for a person to be a
liar for them to narrate everything that they hear somebody told you something boom, you forwarded
to WhatsApp groups, you forwarded in your message groups you're telling people about I heard I don't
know. But that's what I heard. I don't know. But that's what I heard, bro. If you don't know them Be
quiet.

00:16:06 --> 00:16:47
			You took them in Sabah in banaba in yaki. I came to you from Sabah banaba Yaqeen in mujer to emerge
at Santa Monica home. I saw a woman ruling over them and he doesn't say I saw a queen. He doesn't
say I saw medica he doesn't say I saw Queen he said I saw a woman ruling over him. As if to say that
a woman ruling over a people is so unique. It is so rare. It is so out of the ordinary that he's
like I saw a woman ruling over them, which it took him in southern Indiana, in New Jersey to Emirati
into a medical home or OT admin coalition, and she's been given from everything. I mean, I'm shocked
that it's a woman ruling over them in the first place. But number two, this woman Oh my goodness.

00:16:47 --> 00:16:50
			She's got she's got

00:16:52 --> 00:16:53
			everything

00:16:54 --> 00:17:02
			with the admin coalition she's been given everything well How should I leave and she has this
incredible throat. She has this incredible Ouch.

00:17:03 --> 00:17:50
			widget to her comb Hi as you do in addition to him in doing Illa I found her and her people
prostrating to the Sun instead of Allah was there yet at home she thought I might have him and the
devil beautified these deeds for them because the devil beautifies everything, everything especially
when it comes to the worship of other than Allah He beautifies it for them. And so, what I want you
to pay attention to lesson number four is the Leila the jealousy of the hood the hood when it comes
to the deen of Allah subhana data. This bird is coming upset. Because other than Allah Subhana Allah
Allah is being worshipped. Allah is duly Allah He led the auditor FSMS

00:17:51 --> 00:18:26
			why don't they prostrate to Allah? The birds say the one who brings out the hidden and knows what
you do and Allahu Allah, Allahu Allahu Allah. Allah subhana dialer is there's nothing worthy of
worship except for him. He's the Lord of the great throne. The Hood Hood mentions her great throne
literally the same words are used the How should I leave she has a great throne. The hood is like
she's got a great throne, but Allah subhanaw taala there's nothing worthy of worship except for him.
Rob goulash I think he's the Lord of the great throne. Her throne is okay human beings standards but
Allah is the Lord of the great throne.

00:18:27 --> 00:18:47
			And so that bird that was delayed from coming back from today man was delayed because it was
investigating of people who worship other than Allah Subhana Allah is very was so upset so bothered
by these people who worship other than Allah when it comes to suit a man saying all of this stuff

00:18:48 --> 00:19:07
			so they man it is that we talked about the importance of verification right? The bird comes and says
I've come to you whenever any update but Sudima then I'm so sad so number so Doctor, I'm calling
them in Academy. So Damon says okay, we're going to see if you're telling the truth. I'm condemning
academy or if you are from those who are lying

00:19:08 --> 00:19:10
			or whether you are from those who are lying.

00:19:11 --> 00:19:47
			He didn't say whether you you spoke the truth or whether you lied, he saying whether you spoke the
truth or if you are one of the liars if you are one of the liars because as if to say for somebody
to come and come up with this whole scenario, this whole thing that this is just an indie this is
just incredible. This is just the incredible lying, right only somebody who comes up with something
like this a story like this. So he says it had to be Kitabi Hydra go with this book of mine this
letter of mine kitap here meaning this this letter of mine I looked at him so cast it towards them
to moto Allah and him and then turn away from them so cast it to them and then you know keep your

00:19:47 --> 00:20:00
			distance from them fumble my dial Joe so see what they will come back with see what they will come
back with. Now the scene shifts we were in Jerusalem with today man and his inner circle and his
cord and his army, his birds and all of that type.

00:20:00 --> 00:20:00
			stuff.

00:20:01 --> 00:20:29
			And now the scene shifts to Bill case the Queen of Sheba. Pilots. Yeah, you have Malibu in LA kitab.
Okay now we're with Bill keys and with with her inner circle with we're with her meta, her inner
circle her court and she says, Oh my people. I have had a letter that is very noble that was cast to
me. It's coming from a very dignified source. It's coming from suit a man

00:20:30 --> 00:20:44
			in the hoomins today, man, it is from Sudima we're in now who Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim and the
letters content is Bismillah Al Rahman Rahim in the name of Allah Allah Rahman Al Rahim. Allah
Allahu Allah. Yeah.

00:20:46 --> 00:20:55
			Do not but here's this is something really interesting. The letter is what the letter is. Bismillah
R Rahman Rahim. Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim

00:20:56 --> 00:21:06
			comes in the beginning of 113 chapters of the Quran. And there's only one chapter of the Quran that
doesn't start with the best meta, it doesn't start with Bismillah amount of Haman. That's sort of
the doba the ninth swirl.

00:21:07 --> 00:21:21
			But how many times as I mentioned in the Quran, Bismillah Rahim is mentioned 114 times because it's
sort of the nebula comes twice, it comes at the beginning of the Surah, just like 113 112 other
souls. And it also comes in the middle of the Surah or included in the Surah.

00:21:22 --> 00:21:43
			In this letter of Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim. Number two because Have I mentioned the names of
Allah. We learned in that course His Majesty that there are some names of Allah that Allah kept to
himself. There are some names of Allah that He revealed to some prophets and not others. There are
some names of Allah that Allah revealed in some books and others and there are some names of Allah
that Allah Subhana Allah

00:21:45 --> 00:22:12
			and delta V cadaveric. Or add them to always have to be very deliberate. And so these these
scenarios play out. So the man writes Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim. So we know that these three names
Benny Surah, Al know these three names come to us in the Quran that says a man is set up and Benny
is slightly new, Allah being a Rama and ALLAH SubhanA dally being allotment, of course Allah subhana
wa Allah, that's just a little bit of a nugget for whoever's interested in this type of stuff.

00:22:13 --> 00:22:17
			So he says in Romans today man, we know Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim Allah to Allah

00:22:18 --> 00:22:52
			do not be arrogant to Oulu Isley means to be high. I love that idea. Do not be boastful or hi
towards me what to name me and come to me in submission. So Bill, this is reading this letter to her
people. And then she says to her court, and she says yeah, you had a funny family Oh, court mother
of two and he gives me a fatwa, a Sunni family regarding my affair. Maccon Takata as an Amana
catheter shadowed I do not ever decide an affair until you bear witness. So now this is lesson
number. What are we at number five?

00:22:54 --> 00:23:39
			Where she is we're getting a glimpse of what bilities is rulership looks like. It is a consultative
leadership. It is a heavily consultative leadership. She is not some tyrant in Yemen. She is not
some you know vicious lady who whatever she says goes and that's it. She is a woman who is a queen
and who consults with regards to her affairs. And that is a prophetic tradition the province of
allied is and them says or Allah subhana data says amerihome Shura bainham And Allah Subhana Allah
data he says, Where shall we go home to me? He says consult them in your affair. He's telling the
Prophet sallallahu Sallam who has the most sound judgment, the province level guidance and who has

00:23:39 --> 00:24:03
			the best intellect the province the ladies who if anybody could simply make decisions and everybody
would just listen and move forward. It would be it'll Sula cellulitis and the but yet Allah Subhana
Allah says, I wish I would have interviewed me to consult them in your affair. So now I have a
question for you. The question is, these aren't histories these aren't historical stories for us so
that we can just kind of you know, be entertained. The question then becomes Do you consult?

00:24:05 --> 00:24:22
			Do you consult you yourself? Yes, you? Yes you do you consult. Who do you consult? As a parent? Do
you consult your children? As a sibling? Do you consult as a leader as a manager? Do you consult
your team?

00:24:23 --> 00:24:46
			Do you consult people? Okay, so, the province of allied SLM in this era we see him consulting all
the time. He consults after the Battle of better what he should do with the prisoners of war he
consults Abu Bakr and Omar after the battle or before the battle or the Prophet cellulitis and
consults where they should fight in the battle. Should they fight it in Medina? Should they fight
it? What should we do? The Prophet salallahu has sent him after the Battle of

00:24:47 --> 00:24:59
			after the or in the Treaty of her Davia he consults his wife because this is the most awkward moment
in the seat of the province that the light is and we don't have the time to go into it, but her
debut was a moment

00:25:00 --> 00:25:43
			where they had come as pilgrims to Mecca as Muslims from Medina, and they were rejected from
entering. And NACA doesn't reject anybody, like the entire identity of Mecca is based on them
accepting pilgrims no matter what their religion no matter what their background, no matter what
their circumstance. And for the first time, the only people who this rule is broken for are the
Muslims, it is up, like if there's a Charter of Human Rights for Mecca, it is that they allow
everybody to come. And those rights were violated by the Mexicans. And so the province level like
they set it up since with madmen are fine. And the rumors spread that a fan was killed. So the

00:25:43 --> 00:26:17
			province of allies and takes a pledge of allegiance from 1400 companions under the tree that we're
gonna fight to death, even though they're not prepared for war. They're coming as pilgrims. They're
not carrying armor, they're not carrying shields. They're not carrying heavy swords. They're just
carrying the light weaponry that a traveler carries, but they committed. And so then after the treat
of should they be habits, and many of them found that the terms they found were very undignified for
them. They found that it didn't give them the upper hand, it felt that it was humiliating. As
Ramadan, Hatha blah, the Allahu Anhu said, the province of the light is in them then commands for

00:26:17 --> 00:26:32
			them to shave their heads, slaughter their animals, we're done. We're going home, we're coming back
next year and nobody moves. Like when think think, when was there ever a time in the scene of the
prophesies that no more the Prophet told the Companions point blank to do something and they don't
do it?

00:26:34 --> 00:27:09
			When has that ever happened? And 1400 of them, don't do it. Nobody moves. And so he comes into his
tent, he doesn't know what to do. He consults on sedima His wife, and I'm sad. I'm one of the Allah
and I'm happy. She says, yada Sula, go out. Don't talk to anybody. Call your barber in front of
everybody. Have him shave your head off of your sacrifice. That's it that are going to follow you.
And they all did. That's exactly what happened. So that incredible awkward moment was resolved by
the consultation of his wife. I'm setting model the Alana we have guys who never consult their
wives.

00:27:11 --> 00:27:16
			Right? I mean, we would ever consult their wives, consultative leadership, consultants of
leadership.

00:27:19 --> 00:27:55
			So she says Michael Potter as an Amazon Atisha. Dude, I am not going to ever decide an affair until
you bear witness until you bear witness. So what do these men say? So she consults the men and the
men are ready. They said no, no. Oh, cool. What's in what Oh, vaccine, she didn't fall for the lake,
even though you made that up morning. So they said we got power, we got weapons, we've got strength
with our little lake. And the matter goes back to you. Somebody made that up morning. So see what
you want to do. We're ready, ready, willing and able.

00:27:57 --> 00:28:14
			It's a very guy response. But they're ready, they're ready to fight. And they say we got power, we
got strength and the to two incredible sources of power are mentioned in this verse. Two incredibly
critical sources of power. The first is obvious, I know that you guys are gonna have

00:28:15 --> 00:28:25
			reflections on the Quran after this Achala data. So we're getting the reflection juices going. The
first is very obvious. The first source of power is

00:28:26 --> 00:28:38
			the physical power, the weaponry. But there's another source of power, which is very important and
just as critical mentioned in the verse, and that is you have to read between the lines, but it is
their use their unity, their unified front.

00:28:40 --> 00:29:23
			If you have all the power in the world, but y'all are like this, y'all are like this, you're not
going to have power. And so what, what Shiva has, what this queen has, is he has an army, yes. Who
has power? Yes. But they're also like, whatever you want to do. We're behind you. 110%. Whichever
way this goes, Do you want to fight? We're with you. 110%. Do you want peace? We're with you 110%.
Either way, they have unity. And these two things are critical components of power. If you have
unity, but you don't have power, and you don't have power. And if you have weaponry and all that
type of stuff, but you don't have unity, you don't have power. It's easy to divide and conquer. And

00:29:23 --> 00:29:23
			so

00:29:25 --> 00:29:29
			she says, they respond back to her and they say we're ready.

00:29:30 --> 00:29:31
			We're ready.

00:29:32 --> 00:29:59
			And then he says, or then she says in them maluca ADA Hello curiata. I've said to her, she says
kings when they enter into a city, they corrupt it, which I do is that I think like they just be
ransack everything and they take the most, you know, the most noble the elites, the queens and
princesses and princes and all that that was up and they just turn them into slaves and they make
them humiliated. Okay, that okay?

00:30:00 --> 00:30:16
			If I don't wear any more sealer to lay him behind here, but now, as a woman, she has skills beyond
just clashing. And she knows how to try to maneuver and manipulate in different ways.

00:30:17 --> 00:30:53
			And so what she does this, she sends him a bribe with any morcilla. It's called a gift, but we know
what it is. We're in Barcelona and Elaine behaves as if another r&b Male German setup, so she says,
I'm sending a gift. And I am going to see what the messenger comes back with. So now she's testing
today, man is this a person who's got a message is a person who's got something bigger than just
being a king who wants wealth, I'm sending him a gift, and she's sending him something very
expensive. She's sending him like incredible wealth. We don't know what the details are because the
Quran doesn't mention the details. And the Sunnah doesn't mention the details. And once you enter

00:30:53 --> 00:31:11
			into the books of diversity, you'll find all of these details, but they're coming from the biblical
narrations. And for me, just like in the medium series, what I showed you, what I shared with you in
the medium series, is that I would rather just focus on the Quranic wording and get benefits from
there than to go into the the world of biblical narrations.

00:31:13 --> 00:31:48
			But she sends him again, and we know it's something incredibly valuable. And then she wants to see
what her messenger is going to come back with. Now, the scene shifts back to Sudan man, he receives
the guests pilot for the major Sudima prior to me doing it the man says Are you are you bringing me
money? Is that what y'all are trying to give? For my tiny Allah will help me my talking what Allah
Subhana Allah gave me it's better than what he gave you. Today man is not going for anywhere else.
Today man is not going for any bribe. He says what Allah gave me is way better than what he's giving
you. But until we had the ethical talk for our own, rather you are this is what y'all are excited

00:31:48 --> 00:31:52
			about. This is what you're happy about this, this gift this bribe that you're offering me

00:31:55 --> 00:32:27
			so a man is going for the gifts when a man is not impressed. suit a man then tells the ambassador
the messenger that came with the gift he says it'll JD him go back to them for the unknown. Did you
know the law, Tibetan Obeah we are going to come to you. We are going to come to them with a genome
with soldiers that they cannot match. When I know for the gender Amina, I will let her know himself.
We're going to expel them from the city. We're going to get y'all out of the city in humiliation.
Y'all are trying to bribe me. thing. This is a game. He doesn't say that. But this is just me adding
a little bit of

00:32:29 --> 00:32:30
			he says

00:32:36 --> 00:32:42
			now, there there's a gap here in the sequence. So now we have to fill in the gap. What's the gap?

00:32:43 --> 00:32:50
			The gap is the Queen of Sheba gets the ambassador's message back of the Rama says New York
translation. Exactly. That's what we're doing.

00:32:51 --> 00:33:21
			So the gap is that the Queen of Sheba receives the return of the gift from Sudima. It is not
accepted. So now she realizes that this is a prophet. This is a person with a message. And so she
doesn't want to fight. And she comes on her way to unlock codes to pledge allegiance to Sudan. Her
and her and her ministry, her and her people they're all coming to a quits. So Sulayman at a tsunami
says

00:33:24 --> 00:33:32
			by the UN mellow you Camilla teeny bit obviously have Kabila yet Williams. So a man now knows of
their arrival. He knows that they're coming.

00:33:33 --> 00:34:13
			He knows that they're coming. And so he says to his court, he says which of you is going to come
with her throne before she comes to me and submission who's going to bring me her throne that throne
that the hood was talking about earlier that the hood said is amazing. Okay, who's gonna bring me
that throw parlor every two minute j one of the gin he said one of the strong of the gin three, it's
very powerful. He said I will bring him I will bring you the throne Kabbalah and Tahoma mechanic
before you get up from your seat of yours. The muffler Sydney said that sorry, man. He had a morning
shift. That morning shift from the morning until around overtime. He would that's when he would

00:34:13 --> 00:34:23
			judge between people. And so the FAA said before you get up from your throne before you get up,
you're done with your shifts. I will have brought it to you from Yemen.

00:34:24 --> 00:34:36
			And then Allah says Carla, Lydia and the whole mo Mila Kitabi and it carries the lake. But what do
our knowledge of the book he said, I will bring it to you before you blink before you blink.

00:34:38 --> 00:34:44
			And just like that Superman idea instead of has the throne of the Queen of Sheba in front of him.

00:34:45 --> 00:34:50
			Now, a couple of things here, who is this person who had knowledge of the book?

00:34:52 --> 00:34:59
			It was said that it was Jeopardy. It was said that it was today man. It was said that it was

00:35:00 --> 00:35:05
			A person from the community of Sudima

00:35:07 --> 00:35:13
			it was not magic. Of course it wasn't magic. In fact the loss of Hannah data negates magic from
today man

00:35:14 --> 00:35:28
			because magic is cool for magic is covered. And Allah subhanho data says with debit or medical
shelter you know I'm willing to see a man well makeovers today man or like in a shelter in a castle
of your abdomen unnecessarily mountains in either Barbuda, B, B Bobby

00:35:31 --> 00:35:32
			and salted Bacara right.

00:35:34 --> 00:35:49
			Allah subhana data says they followed what was what the devil is recounted about today madness with
a man did not disbelieve. But the devils disbelieved. They taught people magic They taught people
magic and so magic is cool for Superman hasha was

00:35:51 --> 00:35:53
			so Superman is free from that association.

00:35:54 --> 00:36:13
			That being said, this person had knowledge of the book it was said that he was someone who was a
righteous person who Allah subhanaw taala loved he was a weenie of Allah. And Allah had taught him
the Greatest Name of Allah the one by which if he is asked he responds and the one by which if he is
requested by He grants

00:36:15 --> 00:36:23
			and so this person had knowledge of the Greatest Name of Allah and so he is a wedding of Allah
subhanaw taala and Allah knows best that's the correct opinion and then

00:36:24 --> 00:36:32
			today man in that moment he sees the throat now I have a question for you all I need y'all to type
this answer real quick. If

00:36:34 --> 00:36:44
			you saw a throne brought out from Yemen to Jerusalem like that. What would your first response be

00:36:50 --> 00:36:52
			got it but I hate him saying that he would.

00:36:53 --> 00:37:00
			Oh man, this is fast. So many assess. You'd be shocked and hamdulillah Hydra says disbelief very
that says miracle.

00:37:02 --> 00:37:04
			Optical illusion. Okay.

00:37:07 --> 00:37:08
			Okay,

00:37:09 --> 00:37:12
			what would you say? Like what would you say right in that moment?

00:37:14 --> 00:37:22
			I would like do it again. So Allama you're one of those those types of people who someone does
something amazing and you're like, Okay, go do it again. Like

00:37:23 --> 00:37:23
			okay

00:37:31 --> 00:37:41
			let me check real quick what we're doing at this. This fundraiser. Okay, so we're at 65,243 We said
we were gonna hit 3k and solve on this live what happened?

00:37:42 --> 00:37:44
			We hit $253 on this live

00:37:46 --> 00:37:55
			May Allah Subhana Allah bless everybody who gives and everybody who intends to get we're trying to
do these productions brothers and sisters. Someone said to reset it. Of course. I will say Subhan
Allah honestly.

00:37:58 --> 00:37:59
			Let me tell you all this

00:38:03 --> 00:38:08
			Superman's response is incredible. So the image response is incredible. What does today man say?

00:38:10 --> 00:38:42
			He says had that mean fugly rugby, Lea baloney Ashkelon at four? He says this is from the bounty of
my Lord. Do you know how easy it is? When someone does something amazing for you to turn to them and
be like, dude, how do you do that? You're so amazing. You know how easy it is? That's what we do
with athletes all over the world. Christianna and all those amazing, LeBron James is amazing.
Whoever is so amazing. And we share videos of them doing fantastical things. And we're like, oh my
goodness, this they're amazing, right?

00:38:50 --> 00:39:32
			That's what we do. You have somebody who's an entrepreneur, and look at all of these videos that we
share of people just doing incredible things. And it's very rare that somebody says, looks through
the blessing and looks through the talent and behind it sees the greatness of the Lord who gave them
that talent, the greatness of the Lord who gave them that blessing. And so that I'm not infatuated
with Cristiano Ronaldo, who's doing whatever he's doing at 36 years old or 37 years old, but I am
amazed that Allah subhanaw taala who made him I'm not so I'm not so amazed at the memory of Chef
deado and how he's able to recall like it's not left and right and I'm like, well my gosh, if the

00:39:32 --> 00:39:56
			dough mashallah WaterGirl is incredible, but rather I see that ALLAH SubhanA data is the one who
gave him that ability. I'm not so amazed at this 16 year old entrepreneur who is able to create
whatever they're able to create as far as the business for themselves on and you know, travel and be
interviewed on talk shows, but I realized that ALLAH SubhanA data is the one who gave him that
talent that drive that passion and those opportunities, right.

00:39:57 --> 00:39:59
			And so you're able to see through

00:40:00 --> 00:40:28
			The blessing and you're able to see behind the blessing the Lord who gave that blessing. And so so
they might immediately he says, Have in fugly lobby This is from the bounty of my Lord Leah blue
Annie Ashford, I'm up for testimony. Am I going to show gratitude or am I going to disbelieve? Well,
my chakra in the match between UFC and whoever shows gratitude because Cofidis in gratitude wherever
shows gratitude anyway I think I have to wrap up inshallah Tada. So, let me let me let me do this
quickly inshallah.

00:40:30 --> 00:41:10
			Whoever shows gratitude and only benefiting themselves when monka Nabila new Kareem and whoever
disbelieves or shows in gratitude that my Lord is Eleni My Lord is self sufficient carry him he's
perfect whether you show gratitude or whether you don't, okay, then should a man is that he says
neck, Kuroda Asha, let us manipulate her Ouch. So that it doesn't look the same. Let us manipulate
her off so it doesn't look the same. Let us see whether she is guided or whether she'd be of those
who's not guided. What does that mean? So the man is, is he's hearing all this info about this woman
who's ruling over her people. And she's been given from everything and she's been given. I'll shoot

00:41:10 --> 00:41:15
			I'll leave. She's been given this great throne. So so the man wants to see like, what's, what's this
lady's aptitude?

00:41:17 --> 00:41:29
			Let's, let's give her a little bit of an exam. Let's see what she's like. Let's see if she's
truthful. Let's see if she's sincere. Let's see her character. Let's see her integrity. Let's see
her intelligence, all of that in this little exercise that's about to happen.

00:41:31 --> 00:41:43
			So when she came, what was said to her? A haka, how tricky Is this your Is this your is your throne
like this, she sees a throne that looks so similar to her throne, but it's different.

00:41:45 --> 00:41:59
			And now she's being quizzed she's being tested. Is this is your throne like this? And she responds
back with an honest diplomatic answer. She says, Anna, who, who she says, as if it is it?

00:42:01 --> 00:42:35
			It's just like it. It's similar to it. So number one, she doesn't say yes. Because if she says yes,
then she's, it's not correct. Because not It's not her throne isn't exactly like that. And number
two, she doesn't say no, because then she would be wrong also. But she answers with a very
diplomatic answer. She says, I know it's similar. It's similar. And she doesn't add to that she
doesn't sit there and start talking a lot and stuff like that. No, she's she's very to the point.
She's very pleased in her response. She's correcting her response, and she's very poised in her
response.

00:42:37 --> 00:42:56
			And the verse continues routine, and Edmonton Public Health, who knows me and we were given
knowledge from before and we were in submission. And this this statement could be a statement of
Bill case herself, and it could be a statement of Sudima. If it's a statement of Bill case, then
she's saying that I've come to know from before that suit, a man is a prophet.

00:43:00 --> 00:43:32
			And she's in submission. And if it's a statement of suit a man, then he's come to know from before
of ALLAH SubhanA diamond, his right to be worshipped and he submits to Allah Subhana Allah. Now, if
it is a statement of Bilquis and it seems like it's a statement we will taste because of the next
verse was not the HA mechanic that would have been doing it that so she's coming in submission, as
she knows this, when a man is a prophet, but the thing that was an obstacle that prevented her from
the worship of Allah what she worshipped other than Allah, was the fact that her people worshipped
other than Allah Subhana Allah

00:43:33 --> 00:44:11
			is that she was from a disbelieving people. And that guy's been following Kathy, that's the thing
that was the obstacle. And for many of us, this is another lesson. I don't know which one this is,
let's say number six, is that there are so many people who the thing that is an obstacle between
them and guidance is their community, their people, their family, their parents, Allah subhanaw dias
isn't sorted Bacala with our tea letter homotypic Roma, and has a lot to do, but Natalia Roma, and
fina Ali, when they said to them, follow what Allah subhana data has revealed, follow what Allah
subhana data has revealed. They say rather we are going to follow what we found our fathers upon,

00:44:11 --> 00:44:14
			rather we're going to follow what we found our fathers upon.

00:44:15 --> 00:44:30
			Okay. And so and not just even with Muslims, even with Muslims, there are some so many people who
they don't worship Allah subhanaw taala according to the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe
Salam, because their families practice innovation.

00:44:31 --> 00:45:00
			And so this is what my culture does. This is what my family's do. This is what my family does.
You're not obligated to follow your family, you are obligated to follow Allah subhana diatas
legislation and the Sunnah of his prophets of Elijah is set up. And if that means going against your
family, that means going against your family. That means going against the whole world that means
going against the whole world. That's what that's what submission is. In any case, so it's not just
about bilities and her her people being disbelievers, but it

00:45:00 --> 00:45:17
			It is about absorbing these lessons and then looking and seeing, how do I how do these verses apply
to me when it comes to the to the Buddha Quran the first and the greatest principle is applying
every verse of the Quran to yourself. It was revealed for me before it was revealed about anybody
else. Okay?

00:45:20 --> 00:45:26
			She upside is here. Am I in a hotel room? I'm not in a hotel room. But

00:45:27 --> 00:45:48
			where am I? I'm in my apartment. Actually, I'm just trying to figure out but it's a new apartment. I
just moved. So around me our boxes and all sorts of things. And there's nothing nothing's been set
up yet. But I'll just like, you know, Ramadan. 360 last 10 Nights. I'm the type of person who moves
in and Ramadan. Just because I want my life to be a little bit more challenging.

00:45:51 --> 00:45:51
			Anyway,

00:45:53 --> 00:45:55
			let's wrap this up in sha Allah, the chef is here

00:46:01 --> 00:46:18
			so may I didn't forget where I was, I might have forgotten where I was. So anyway, what did we say?
Well, so the hammer kind of taboo. Now the last thing that I want to mention, finally the
culmination of the story, Taylor has for his son, she it was said to her enter into the palace enter
into the palace.

00:46:19 --> 00:47:04
			So when she sees the palace, she sees what seems like flowing water and she lifts up her skirt her
casts become visible because she's about to wade through the water. And then it's she's told that
no, no, it's not from La Mirada, Makati. This is glass what you're doing out here, this is glass. So
immediately when she sees that she realizes this incredible build of this palace. She then says Rob
benevolence enough. See, my lord, I have wronged myself was slim to mass today man at the La Habra
army and I have submitted with suit a man to the Lord of the words. Okay. Two final lessons from
that last passage, that last verse number one,

00:47:05 --> 00:47:08
			Islam can enter a person's heart because of beauty.

00:47:10 --> 00:47:12
			Islam can enter a person's heart because of beauty.

00:47:13 --> 00:47:14
			She

00:47:16 --> 00:47:35
			accepts Islam in that moment, not because of any argument that Saudi man presents or anything like
that. But that moment of seeing that beautiful palace when you enter into a message it that's
beautiful and well designed. Doesn't that affect your iman, like you walk into a place that's just
captivating and its beauty.

00:47:38 --> 00:47:39
			Beauty speaks to the soul.

00:47:40 --> 00:47:42
			Beauty speaks to the soul.

00:47:43 --> 00:48:05
			And so, in that moment, she has a man enters into her heart and she submits to Allah subhana wa
Tada. Okay, and so not belittling, sometimes people the more religious they get, the more they try
to discount this notion of beauty that it is just you know, this is just the dunya and I don't care
about the dunya I don't care about the blah blah blah.

00:48:06 --> 00:48:44
			No, no Allah subhanaw taala mentioned Xena so much in the Quran. of the functions of the stars that
the adoring the night sky of one of the reasons why Allah subhanaw taala created these animals for
you these horses and and camels and sheep and all of that when a comfy hijama on Hina tour you're
gonna have to sort of when Allah says and sort of the name that you have the function of beauty
also, when it goes out and it comes back to pasture. Like it's a very beautiful sight these fat
little sheep if you've ever seen the British countryside for my breads on the train and you see
these the fattest sheep in the world, frolicking on the grass there. It's a very beautiful sight

00:48:45 --> 00:49:28
			in any case, and then she submits but she says something she doesn't say she doesn't say what I'll
be any of the Lambton fcoi slumped hula hula behind me. She doesn't say I submitted to the Lord of
the Worlds. She said I submitted with suit a man to the Lord of the Worlds. So that addition, those
two words, what does that communicate to you? Why does she say with a man, it shows us the
importance of community. It shows us the importance of community. You can build the most beautiful
message if you can go and apply the first part of that verse. And you can go and invest $2 million
$3 million in a beautiful message that is captivating to the eye but if I walk into that message,

00:49:29 --> 00:49:34
			and I say sit on my day come to people and they don't respond to me. I'm praying and I'm leaving and

00:52:47 --> 00:53:14

			she said she said actually, you know what, I would love to pass over my duty to you so if you are
interested, man

00:53:27 --> 00:53:36
			are you in a hotel? Yeah, I was projecting. I'm in a hotel. I just figured you're in a hotel. Just
to have some weed.

00:53:37 --> 00:53:54
			Well, I have enough packed yet but I have this for you. It's ready. It's available. That's awesome.
The best superhero ever. You have the cup. It's great. I'm dilla May Allah subhanaw taala accept. I
don't know why he would accept what there is to accept about a Batman but may Allah

00:53:55 --> 00:54:07
			accept Roma promos are fast it's good to see you see people are putting in the chat already Marvel
all the way because look at this team Marvel is coming in strong man. She will kind of say you know
just know the flow

00:54:08 --> 00:54:19
			there if we're going to be fair, just to be fair to the chef here because he's a DC guy sometimes
he's he considers himself from the hotel but from the strangers but

00:54:20 --> 00:54:24
			the the Superman story was taken from the story of Musa isn't that correct?

00:54:27 --> 00:54:48
			I don't know if it's specifically taking the story of Musa but there's obviously a lot of religious
undertones in all like comic book mythology. Is it really even more a lot? I thought Marvel was
always well Marvel is just a copy of DC so you know basically there so you know, DC does it and then
Marvel just copy that. So what matters is where DC got it wrong?

00:54:49 --> 00:54:59
			But there's a lot there's a lot of there's a lot of religious symbolism overtone undertones in a lot
of comic book characters. I'm not I'm not very familiar with the Superman story because I don't like
to

00:55:00 --> 00:55:06
			If remember the idea I'm assuming of him being put on a spaceship and then being sent is like most
of being put on a basket and put into the river and stuff like that.

00:55:08 --> 00:55:14
			Yeah, that's interesting. I haven't heard that specifically. But honestly, there are a lot of
parallels. It's very interesting.

00:55:16 --> 00:55:18
			To see you Yeah, me, too.

00:55:20 --> 00:55:32
			Good handlers. It's like super busy man. Really busy. I'm not I'm not home right now. I'm in a
different state. I'm where you were a week ago. I don't know if you you'll pick up on that

00:55:33 --> 00:55:37
			are from New York and DC. And these two areas will never tell you where they're at.

00:55:40 --> 00:55:55
			We we act super suspicious for no reason. Like he could easily tell what cityzen He could easily
tell us but this is just our data via we're just very like, you know, I mean, we're just very aloof.
We're not telling you what city we're in. We've been moving in Sharla. There's no need. There's no
need.

00:55:57 --> 00:55:59
			People talking about like, my apartment.

00:56:01 --> 00:56:04
			People in this city already know, I'm here. So there's no

00:56:06 --> 00:56:10
			need to mention that online. You don't want people coming to your event or anything like that, you
know? No, absolutely not.

00:56:14 --> 00:56:14
			Leave at

00:56:17 --> 00:56:29
			Mar. That was some little lovely to number of Marvel. And I wasn't it goes over my head. I'm sure
that's going to be a podcast topic. She said if it hasn't been already done already. It's on my
podcast, shameless plug.

00:56:30 --> 00:56:43
			It's probably a podcast. You have to link that. Actually, I keep forgetting. I will try to do that.
I don't have the link on me. But my podcast is actually it's on Apple podcast. It's on Spotify. It's
on.

00:56:44 --> 00:56:58
			What's the other? There's Apple and Android? Andrew? Yeah, Google, Google podcasts, whatever it is.
It's called Islam and stuff, Islam and stuff. So we talk about Islam and stuff. So very millennial.

00:56:59 --> 00:57:29
			We actually by the way, those of you who know, brother, man would he was on the last episode of the
podcast, so definitely check that out. You can find a link to it. Please post it in Charlotte and
their friend was here a little while ago. We'll see if you can come through. He gave me the most
obscure random link and it took me 100 But it was very beneficial. I actually was listening all the
way up until Fajr. Michelle, that was really really beneficial. All right, sure. Listen, we are
jumping in this time. This time. i Come on. This was not me. This is not me. This is okay, fine.

00:57:31 --> 00:58:02
			You got to build him do what you got to do. But hamdullah we are at today number 20 of Ramadan. 360.
We're coming to Subhanallah like near the end. This is going to be your last day with you this week.
Let's jump into the reflections. Inshallah, which which verses are we reflecting on today? Anybody?
I just posted it in the chat. So I posted the link and a translation I this is one of the
translations that I edited a little bit, just so it would make it easy to understand. Do we have a
SIOP document in the in the list? Is he actually here, or is he not here? That is camera on Hold on?
There he is. Yes, he's waving. All right. Okay.

00:58:04 --> 00:58:06
			Do you mind reciting for us?

00:58:07 --> 00:58:25
			Of course, can you hear me okay? Yeah, I can hear you. Actually, if you could do me a favor. I'm
sorry. Could you recite the previous verse and this verse, So verse number 29, and 30 we're covering
verse 30. But I'm just going to quickly reference a previous verse. So if you could recite that as
well so 29 and 30. Okay

00:58:34 --> 00:58:37
			he means shape on your logy in

00:58:39 --> 00:58:44
			Delhi. Tada I lead in volume. Whoo hoo

00:58:45 --> 00:58:47
			hoo, your

00:58:49 --> 00:58:53
			ma, demon Albula.

00:58:56 --> 00:58:58
			Well, Nyla who me?

00:59:00 --> 00:59:02
			So we

00:59:04 --> 00:59:07
			asked him where the heck Ali Dini Hani,

00:59:09 --> 00:59:15
			Jaco Rotella he let ease up on now. La

00:59:16 --> 00:59:19
			la de de la Lee Hall.

00:59:21 --> 00:59:26
			Then we get Dino oil emo King.

00:59:28 --> 00:59:32
			Last Eli level two who

00:59:33 --> 00:59:59
			sent just like a locker to lay back fake. May Allah bless you and your family. Gradually the best of
this life and the next 100 lagron enjoying listening to your recitation? That's why if you're here,
you know, I tried to call on you have done that Zack loved it please make the offer our brother and
his family as well. So let's jump right into this. Actually, wait, let me tell you about the Jews
that we're in today. We are in just number 21. So 21st of April just number 21.

01:00:00 --> 01:00:32
			Also the night of the 21st. So technically, I mean, depending on where you are, it's 5pm for me, so
I'm not, you know, haven't hit Muslim most of the time, where in the last 10 days and the 10 nights
of Ramadan so yeah, so just number 21 goes from Switzerland and Cabo verse number 45 until the end,
sort of a room sort of Lachman, a Sajida and Eliza from the beginning until verse number 30. So the
verse that we have today is sort of room verse number 30.

01:00:33 --> 01:01:10
			Okay, so let's, okay, let's jump right into it. Now Long's kind of went to Allah says, in verse
number 30, would be leaving the ship on the regime after him what how can it Dini Hanifa and direct
your face towards the religion inclining in truth, I know some of these terms may feel a little
convoluted. And basically, this is you know, it's a translation of as I always say, it's an
approximation of the meaning. So we're going to break it down in sha Allah so you get a good
understanding of what this means. And then Allah says, fit for what Allah ility FAPA NASA and they
have, this is the fifth Allah Allah then we're going to break down Fifth that I won't fit that are

01:01:10 --> 01:01:41
			really is which he has instilled in all people not to do any kind of color, there should be no
change in the creation of Allah that he could do you know, I am this is the straight path or the
straight way. What I can ask for a nasty layup animal, but most people do not know. And so let's
break this down Allah who's Pamela data says, up in what do you have to do? Hanifa so direct your
face to word, the religion inclining to the truth. Now, when we see the letter,

01:01:43 --> 01:02:26
			we need to pay attention because it means that something came before this. And it this is almost not
not necessarily a response. But it is a continuation. And it's not necessary, that we visit the
previous verse of the previous verses, the meaning will be complete even without that, but it just
gives us a little bit insight. So in the previous verse that our brother recited Allah who's kind of
like the other says, but it's about under the Nevada mu, our humble lady, and that in fact, the the
wrongdoers they follow their desires without knowledge, right? I mean, yeah, the men of Allah, who
will then guide those whom Allah has allowed to go astray, or by the Holman Nelson in they have no

01:02:26 --> 01:02:29
			helpers. So Allah is now speaking about those,

01:02:30 --> 01:02:40
			the the lending of those who did wrong or those who were wrongdoers, or oppressors. And Allah says
that they follow their,

01:02:41 --> 01:03:20
			their own desires without knowledge. So now this is this is the bad that Allah has pointed out as
mentioning for us. And then in the next verse, Allah has kind of data says, this is those people now
you and this verse is obviously speaking to the Prophet sallallaahu send them the companions. But as
we've been saying, and I heard Shikamaru mentioned this as well personalize the message, right? So
to Debow personalize the message Allah who's kind of like data is speaking to you. How does this
apply to my life? What does this mean for me? And so now Allah is telling us I've said the previous
verse, that those who are wrongdoers, those who do bad or evil, they only follow their desires, and

01:03:20 --> 01:03:57
			what's the interesting point, there's behavior and without knowledge, so, you know, subhanAllah, our
desires can be aligned with that which is correct, and that which is good, but not, if not, if it is
not accompanied with knowledge, right. So when we don't have knowledge, we will we may follow all of
our desires, the good and the bad, or we may let our desires lead us astray, not as what happens
with a lack of knowledge. So that is those people we so once again, even we can personalize that and
say, Do I fall into that or not? We don't want to be that person. So we want to make sure that we're
not following our desires, that we have knowledge so we don't fall into that trap. And then Allah

01:03:57 --> 01:04:34
			says, okay, and then you as I said, this is referring to the prophets of Allah who I knew he was
sending them, but we want to personalize his message that this is for Us. So Allah says, The Upton
wotja would check and basically direct your face Allah has mentioned the face here, Lydian to the
religion Hanifa and there's a few different trials if you look at the translations for these
depending on which translation you pick, there's a few different ways of translating this one is a
more literal, more direct translation which I've given to you direct your face towards the religion.
What this means is Allah who has power to Allah is saying

01:04:36 --> 01:05:00
			go in this direction, okay. And And subhanAllah the word Khalifa or in this in this context Khalifa
inclining to the truth, okay, that that is that is, that is that's okay, that's that's translation
but the word Hanif really means to incline to something and away from something. So to incline to
something and away from something. So, when Allah has kind of data

01:05:00 --> 01:05:41
			says incline to the religion, the dean. Now this is we want to incline or lean who can say, oh we
can lean away from something and we can lean into something. So, what do we lean away from? First
thing first we lean we want to avoid, be away from Kolkata and shirk, towards the way towards the
Oneness of Allah data towards the worship worship of Allah alone. And then we can say, Okay, I'm
already Muslim. Alright, so we're gonna personalize this message, this message for me already
Muslim, I stay away from Coachella and shirk and so on and so forth. We can say we want to stay
away, right? From sinfulness and disobedience and we want to lean into or lean on be inclined

01:05:41 --> 01:06:17
			towards the obedience of Allah who's kind of like that isla. And so this is what Allah has pointed
out is saying, direct yourself to the religion and be inclined towards the truth and away from
falsehood, be inclined towards business, away from evil be inclined towards the obedience of Allah
and away from the disobedience of Allah who is penalized to Allah and this also means that once we
are Muslim like for us, right, as you said, for already Muslim, then we want to make sure that we
are staying away from things that can take away from that which would incline us towards Allah. So

01:06:18 --> 01:06:55
			one of the one of the big things that should come to mind for us is our sincerity, right? So a
person can be doing something for the sake of Allah. And as you know, we say, okay, we're Muslim.
We're going to worship Allah who has kind of a downer. Okay, good. hamdulillah we're not going to
ship we're not going to worship other than Allah. We are going to worship Allah. So what is the trap
there? What do we need to incline away from or lean away from? Well, a lack of sincerity, or our
sincerity getting messed messed up, right. So in order for us to worship Allah, you know, there's
two conditions for our worship to be accepted by Allah kind of data. Number one, is that we need to

01:06:55 --> 01:07:15
			worship Allah correctly. We need to worship Allah with knowledge. So let's say we're praying a
prayer, we can't decide on our own how to pray. Obviously, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
taught us how to pray, right? As the prophets have a lot of send them he said, Man, I mean, I'm an
Elisa, they say, I'm Rhonda, what? Where does a action

01:07:16 --> 01:07:53
			that is not from our matter, that is not from what we have basically, what Allah has given to us for
what it is rejected and another nourishment data, the Marina had Miley Salman, who arrived, whoever
bring something new into this matter of hours, that is not already in it, meaning it is not already
something that the prophets I send them already gave to us, but who arrived it is rejected. So the
first thing is, are we worshiping Allah the way Allah taught us how to worship Him through the
prophets of life, and that's number one, number two is worshiping Allah with sincerity. And so,
these are both conditions that we need to fulfill when we talk about

01:07:54 --> 01:08:33
			you know, being inclined towards the religion or turning towards the religion inclining towards that
which is correct, right. So, so this is something we need it we need to keep in mind, obviously, in
the manual Binya actions are judged by their intentions. If our intention is to show off or
whatever, then that is what our intention is, we're left to our intention rather than our intention
being to worship Allah who has panela to Allah. So this is what this is, basically, Allah is giving
us the cure, to what is mentioned in the previous verse, so those who do wrong because they follow
their desires, without knowledge. And now you see the parallel here Subhanallah very interesting,

01:08:33 --> 01:09:09
			following your desires, versus being sincere to Allah, knowledge or a lack of behavior and without
knowledge. And in opposition to that is knowledge doing things with knowledge, which with correct
knowledge, so when we worship, we worship Allah to Allah, first is sufficient, right? Fighting our
desires. And then also along with that, is doing it sincerely for the sake of Allah who's
Panhellenic data. So now personalizing this message, we need to ask ourselves, okay, where do I need
to lean towards? What do I need to incline towards? And, and if you ponder this, this, this,

01:09:11 --> 01:09:41
			this issue of, of being heading right inclining there's a lot to be learned here as well. So I want
you to think about this word, heavy right to incline. Why would Allah has kind of like to add, I
mentioned, to incline or we can say, you know, to lean towards something, what is the significance
of that word? What does that mean to you to incline towards the truth? What additional benefits can
we get from that? So, I want you to think about that on someone has their hands up or your hand up?
Please feel free to share. So

01:09:43 --> 01:09:57
			following the truth is one way to put it being inclined to the truth or leaning into or leaning
towards the truth and away from falsehood. What is the significance of that spin lesson? Anya is
going to hand up so let's hear from you. And shall I go right ahead and mute the spinner.

01:10:01 --> 01:10:06
			So So I come so I was gonna say a favor because you know is the right thing to do.

01:10:08 --> 01:10:51
			I would compare that to like, for instance working out, you know, you don't need to motivate being
motivated is not enough to actually work out you have to be you have to have a discipline and so I
feel like it's the same with our, you know, with our deen, where inclining to do with the right
thing. You're essentially you're making the choice to show up for your deen show up for yourself and
hold yourself accountable whether it's through prayer through a Quran. Essentially, if it's calls
for discipline. So you're saying that inclining here, what you get from it is making that personal
choice to take that action. Yeah, cuz we have inclination towards what we like. But it's we have to,

01:10:51 --> 01:11:13
			essentially, we would have to choose to like that, even though it's not necessarily what you want.
But you know, it's the right thing and it's good for you. So you have to start liking that. Does it
make sense? No, I got it. I got it. I hopefully other people understand as well. I understand what
you're saying. And I can look at exactly what I'm gonna do we have anyone else was not a couple
hands go up. They put the hands down.

01:11:15 --> 01:11:18
			Okay. No one else really?

01:11:19 --> 01:11:28
			Okay, someone I'm looking at the chat, which I normally don't do, I want you to raise your hands. I
want you to come on camera, if you can, or at least you know, we can hear your voice. You know,
reflecting together and handling now.

01:11:30 --> 01:11:42
			Can I call on somebody? Is that cool? I know we do that in the seminars, bring back bring back 2021
Quranic vibes we I just call on people. I'm like you, right? So I see people

01:11:43 --> 01:11:55
			posting in the chat. Can I call on somebody who posted something in the chat? A smile is
volunteering his tribute with her. She's taking she's taking it for the team. Yeah. Okay. Okay.
Well, let her take one for the team.

01:11:56 --> 01:11:57
			Go ahead.

01:11:59 --> 01:12:20
			Alright, so I was gonna say like, inclining towards like, what you think is more pleasing to Allah.
So like, for example, like, if you look really, really beautiful one day and you know, obviously,
you're inclined towards things that are like beautiful, but you inclined more to like, cover more
cover your bat. Naturally out of what you think is more pleasing to elbow.

01:12:21 --> 01:12:39
			Okay, very good. Good answer. Good answer. I'm going to call on someone I think, to Can I call on
sister Ziva? Because I liked her answer. I didn't read the whole thing. I read a couple words, but
I'm wondering if she'd be willing to mention it to everyone else.

01:12:41 --> 01:12:44
			Get on the ice. See the prompt on the screen? Oh, I see. You unmuted. Bismillah Go ahead.

01:12:45 --> 01:12:46
			Hello.

01:12:47 --> 01:12:51
			Hi, Sarah. Block. Go ahead. I didn't know it was new. You're gonna call? Okay.

01:12:53 --> 01:12:57
			Great. Yeah. No, I thought was interesting. The choice of words. And obviously, it's our last word.
So

01:12:58 --> 01:13:20
			it has to be perfect. The empires it's no longer just moving towards the truth rather than go
completely on the truth. I found that interesting. And I wasn't quite sure about it. Yeah. Very
good. So that movement, right, so what does that movement suggest to us? Right. So that's I liked I
saw in the chat, you said, you know, moving towards the truth.

01:13:21 --> 01:13:22
			That's good. That's

01:13:23 --> 01:13:35
			okay, go ahead. You want to add to that? No, no, I want I'd like to know what you your thoughts on
that? Really? I'll tell you my thoughts. Inshallah, I want to hear from other people as well. Do you
have another hand up?

01:13:36 --> 01:13:51
			I'm, we're halfway there to one of the meetings and look, you know, when we reflect on these verses,
you know, we can we can get different things out of it, as long as we're not changing the meaning of
our last five out as it's saying, right? So, go ahead, spend up. Alright.

01:13:52 --> 01:13:54
			Okay. So I think

01:13:55 --> 01:14:14
			you see, I think Allah says that as we take one step towards Allah, Allah will increase it for us.
So for me, I feel that as long as you have that inclination, that liking to okay, I want to know
this, or I want to understand this, I think Allah will ease that path for us and Allah will make it
even more

01:14:15 --> 01:14:28
			firstly did our affairs for us, so I think that's why probably inclination, I mean, you need to have
that, that tiny bit of feeling that okay, I want to learn or I want to know, the interest but yeah,
yeah, very good, very good.

01:14:29 --> 01:14:59
			The whole idea of taking one step towards the lowest point data, and that's, that's what I was
thinking about. And I think it's very nice that he came looking for something specific. That's what
I had and you know, in terms of being inclined towards something is it's it's a journey, right? It's
not just how you're you're either there or you're not there. It's something that we make an effort
toward that because this is what SR I was was mentioning, as well. They the you know, that to make
an effort, right, to put in the effort to move towards Allah who's kind of went out and

01:15:00 --> 01:15:39
			to move away, so, you know, it carries both meanings away from bad and towards good. So inclining
towards something moving towards something, it means that it's there's a spectrum, right we want to
reach what is good and what is ideal and what is best. But when you hear the word inclined towards
something, you know in Arabic its main right maybe to lean towards to move towards the truth and
that which is which is correct, so that it should give us should give us some, some hope. The other
meaning is actually coming up in the next in the next part of this verse, and that is that, if we
can be inclined towards something, it means that it's something that is possibly within us already,

01:15:40 --> 01:16:06
			right, that internally, we can recognize something as being good and we would naturally be inclined
towards it, right? So that's so that's what what's next is Allah has kind of data that says fitrah
to Allah and let the Fatah NASA Allah, now this is the explanation right? What is this? What is this
honey fear, right? What is this, this truth and this goodness that that we should be inclining
towards, we should move towards? Allah says the fitrah.

01:16:07 --> 01:16:45
			The fitrah of Allah, the natural way of Allah has power to add on the fifth pillar, is what we know
what we understand to be our natural inclination. Right? So there's inclination, our natural
inclination that that Allah has given to us. So fit, federal law, number one, the filter of Allah,
why did why didn't Allah just say, that Clara, and that if upon us fitrah and then which is already
found amongst people, Allah said the flipper of Allah meaning it comes from Allah. Right? It is from
Allah has given to us by Allah who's Panhellenic to Allah is something that we naturally have from
Allah fitrah to Allah He led the foreigners Allah which Allah has taught on NASA and Allah has

01:16:45 --> 01:16:48
			created people with it already.

01:16:50 --> 01:17:30
			Allah has instilled this within us already and you know the word fit thorough, comes from Fatah
which means to create something that did not exist before right. So for example, in Surah Surah file
till right same word, begins with and handling nahi Alhamdulillah. He thought that he somehow it
will help all praises for Allah the fall till the Originator of the heavens and the earth, meaning
it wouldn't exist without Allah has kind of went to Allah. Right Allah is the one who brought it
into existence, Allah is the One who created it. So likewise our inclination towards good our
inclination towards that which is right, that that natural inclination is something that came from

01:17:30 --> 01:18:12
			Allah who's kind of like to Allah, Allah is what Allah is the one who brought it into existence. And
then we have the Hadith of the persons Mmm. Well known Hadith, in which he said could Lumo Luden
EULA do Island fitrah every newborn child is born upon their fifth thorough, right, this the same
plethora that has mentioned in the Quran, that that that is mentioned in this verse, right? It's the
same fitrah that Allah is the precedent is describing you that every newborn child is born with this
natural inclination. And then the opposite of it, or the corruption of that fitrah. Or that filter
getting messed up is also described in this hadith the President said, about wha hoo, you have with

01:18:12 --> 01:18:52
			Ernie, oh, you know, see, Ronnie, a human discerning that Allah has created this child, every
newborn child is created with that natural inclination towards good, the best good is obviously
recognizing that we have a creator and worshiping that creator alone, that is the best, good, that
is the message that is still hate. That is the message of all the prophets, recognizing that we have
a creator, and that creator alone deserves to be worshipped. No one deserves to worship, besides the
law, basically are cutting our Shahada. That is the crux of our fifth law. And so the President
said, then it is there about what their this their parents, they either make this person, a Jew, or

01:18:52 --> 01:19:20
			a Christian, or a median, right. So whatever, if someone takes a path other than the path of Allah,
this kind of data, if someone adopts a religion, a faith, a way of life, other than the one that
Allah has created us with already, that is an external influence mean, there's something that came
from the outside. And so a person gave us the most potent example of that, and that is obviously the
household that we're in. We were raised in a household, that Subhanallah you know,

01:19:22 --> 01:19:59
			our parents are living in a life that is away from our fitrah. And obviously is going to have an
effect on us. And our, our fitrah can be changed and that is something which is coming up as well.
But once again, you may say, you know, we're trying to personalize this message. I'm already on my
fifth block, right? I'm already Muslim. So I'm upon I only worship I recognize that Allah is my
Creator, that there's there's no creator other than that Allah, there's no Lord, other than Allah.
There's no naraba in the law. There's no law other than the law, not united Allah. There's nothing
deserving of worship, other than Allah. So how does this verse apply to me? Well, our fitrah is our

01:19:59 --> 01:20:00
			inclination.

01:20:00 --> 01:20:39
			towards all things that are good, and especially and those things which we naturally find to be
good. Now, we may recognize the bigger picture the big picture as Muslims, hopefully we do, right
that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped. But what about things happening around us and the
society around us when things that Allah has power to Allah has defined as good in the Quran or
through the Sunnah in personam. And then society begins to view it as not good. or Allah has defined
something as being bad. Allah has defined something as being immoral. And in society, people begin
to see it as being moral, and acceptable, and righteous and pious, and so on and so forth. Is this

01:20:39 --> 01:21:24
			not the corruption of the fitrah? Is this not the changing of the fitrah. And, you know, we had that
famous Hadith of the prophets that I send them, you know, which which describes the parts that I've
said methyl Jalisa, Salah was so was so much of the genesis of Salah was so the example of a, a, a
pious companion, and a in pious companion, and Denise is actually someone who sits with us, right,
we're sitting with this person, meaning we spend time with this person. We all know this hadith is
like, the Pious One is like the carrier of musk, or perfume. And then the Empires one is like the
the iron Smith, which is, you know, working working with iron. And the Prophet SAW, I send them said

01:21:24 --> 01:22:03
			that the that was being with that with that with the person of the person who has perfume, or musk.
Either, they will give you some of their perfume as a present, or you will buy it from them, or you
will in some way, you will be affected by that perfume, and you will get that perfume from the other
person. And subhanAllah Rahman, I don't know if he's still here, but on the podcast, we were talking
about oils, and we were talking about, I'm personally not a big fan of oils, because oils have this
quality of the muscle of the person I was describing, which is a good thing, right? But the problem
is, if you don't like the smell of all of that particular oil, and generally I a lot of oils that

01:22:03 --> 01:22:37
			people come to me with, I don't like the smell, usually like an uncle or somebody comes to the
masjid and like shakes your hand. And honestly shaking hand. I'm gonna shake the uncles and
obviously, but it's when they pull out that stick, you know, the oil stick, and it's like oil
dripping off of it. And they're like, betta. Here you go. And you're like, and they're like, it's
sunnah. You know, this is, so now you got to take it. And it's like, and you know, Sam didn't reject
gifts, and then reluctantly put your hand ahead and the goat chicken and slap all this oil on you.
And now you're done. Right? I thought it Yeah, exactly. And some had a lot, you know, and we talked

01:22:37 --> 01:23:11
			about some of the podcasts that that God doesn't leave you. Right oils, they seep into your skin,
right, as opposed to like, alcohol based colognes and perfumes and stuff, they evaporated, they're
gone quickly, oils stay there. And some Annaleigh like I'm just because majority of times I don't
like that smell. It's sometimes it's just like this stuff. I don't know, man where these concoctions
come from, I'll be honest. But in Salah I'm struggling for the next day, they've been honestly hours
and hours where I've been like washing my hands over and over and over again. And just like the
smell is just, you know, and I think I have a strong sense of smell. I don't know what it is, but

01:23:11 --> 01:23:43
			like, it really bothers me. And so I and I know some people get offended panela they're like, you
know, cannot reject this, this perfume or whatever. And I'm like, Look Around the time explained you
had that's not actually true. The person, um, didn't reject gifts, because they were good and
beneficial gifts, but if a gift was harmful, that's a different matter if I'm struggling Subhanallah
with my salon, like I know for sure, because all I can think about is how strong the smell is, and
how many times I have to wash it to get it off, then that's detrimental not only to like me, it's
detrimental to my prayer, but I don't remember the time to get into that. I'll just usually like if

01:23:43 --> 01:23:58
			I see Uncle coming with with oil, I'm gonna, like sidestep, go around, try to you know, find my way
out of that. But the point here is this example the person gave us is that, you know, if the smell
is good, you know, obviously, there's a positive example, in this case, that

01:23:59 --> 01:24:42
			you're gonna come you're gonna, you're gonna walk away with some goodness, right? On the other hand,
the iron Smith, by them working in, you know, working on the iron, some, some, some of that some of
the iron dust was about soot, or setae whatever it is, right, it's gonna get on you, right, the
blackness or whatever, it's just around, it's in the air, so on and so forth. Something bad is gonna
is gonna get on you. And so what is this telling us? This is telling us once again of we may, we may
start off in a in a way that we recognize goodness as goodness and falsehood as falsehood, but our
company and you know, the people around us have an effect on us, right? And this is what is known as

01:24:42 --> 01:24:59
			desensitization, we can get desensitized to things. And things can become normalized. And that's a
better word, right? It's actually it's a process of desensitization, desensitization, and then
normalization, things can get normalized to such a degree Subhanallah that we're unable to recognize
them.

01:25:00 --> 01:25:35
			things that that are that in our fifth law we recognize as good. And I'll give you an example of
this, which, you know, some some people take lightly. But, you know, it's actually it's a very good
example, the beard for men, right? The price is seldom described the beard as being part of art, the
price that I mentioned, you know, certain amount of things, different durations, one nourishing,
which is seven things that are from our fitrah. Those of you who, who took trends, we talked about
those things, amongst them, clipping the nails, and so on and so forth. But one of that is, is the
beard right, letting the beard grows from our fitrah now,

01:25:36 --> 01:26:11
			we live in a society and I think things have changed in the last 10 years. But you know, about a
decade ago, the norm was most men would shave, right? They have shaved faces. And one of the reasons
they shave is not, you know, because they want to go against the sun or anything like that. It's
because that's the norm in society. And someone gets dressed up. Yeah, like you'll see someone you
know, they may have like a stubble or wherever, but they go to a job interview, like they'll shave
be clean shaven, right, or someone's getting married. It's like, I've met brothers Pamela, nice
beard, day of the Nika clean shaven, I'm like, yo, what happened? Man, like, what's going on? Now? I

01:26:11 --> 01:27:00
			just had to clean up man, I'm like, no, like, come on. Anyway, point is our understanding of if even
you know, our understanding of goodness, and what we even on a vision in a visual in a visual sense,
what we consider to be good and attractive and good looking can be altered, if something becomes a
norm in society. Right? Even Subhan, Allah did the whole idea of modesty, and, and covering, right?
In society, we live in a society where not everyone, but you know, in a general sense, a little bit
of a generalization here. Nakedness is seen as beautification, right? For a lot of people, not
everyone. But the more we expose of ourselves, the more attractive, right, the more we show, the

01:27:00 --> 01:27:36
			more attractive this actually goes against our fifth law. Right? Our fifth our natural state is to
is that that is supposed to be something which is very, very private. Like we're supposed to feel
awkward and odd when we see nakedness. Because we're supposed to feel like you know what, this is
not meant for public consumption. Right? This is meant for your spouse, or you know, depending on
how much when a person is uncovering for certain certain people. It's not this not this should not
be something for the world and not and by the way, I'm not just talking about sisters. I'm talking
about brothers as well, right? It works both ways. Obviously, men and women cover in different ways.

01:27:36 --> 01:27:59
			Something we talked about in the podcast, by the way, hijab for men to check out the podcast. But
the point here is that change in perception of what is considered a beauty, right. And the prophets
I send him you know, in one narration, he said Magcon McConnell Hyah, officiate in lezana, higher
modesty is not put into something except that it beautifies it right.

01:28:01 --> 01:28:45
			Our perception is the opposite of that, right, higher modesty, we live we live in a time where the
absence of higher is seen as beautification, right, the process is telling us to access our filter,
our fitrah is that modesty is seen as as beauty, right? And that's a total change in our perception.
So once again, personalizing this message, then Allah has had an eye to Allah says Allah de la the
Halacha, Allah, there should be no change in the creation of Allah. So one of the meanings of this
is that this is the fifth era. Right? They don't change the fitrah right, do not alter do not do not
corrupt the petro because this is the creation of Allah. And I think someone mentioned that I saw it

01:28:45 --> 01:29:08
			in the chat. Someone mentioned something about the the Shia THON. Absolutely, this is one of the
goals of the Shabbat that she upon himself, he says, what I'm what I'm known for, like you were your
own run a Hulk Allah, He said, I will commend them certainly servers 119. While I'm running them, I
will commend them. And this This speaks to what he's talking about here is he's actually boasting
about how he will be able to control

01:29:09 --> 01:29:41
			the Children of Adam through their desires, right and so longer topic, check out deception. But the
point here is that he says, I will come out, it's like, I will come out and then many, I'm gonna
have that kind of control over them and control them to their desires. I will combine them further
you have a urine a Hulk, Allah, they will change the creation of Allah. Right? And this is in it's
in a physical way. And it's also in a spiritual way, in a physical way. Subhanallah we may alter our
bodies in a way that takes us away from our fifth thought. Right one of them shaving of the beard is
just one example.

01:29:43 --> 01:29:59
			And other examples, for example, with tattoos, right? Very common today. They've become really
mainstream somehow to luck. 1015 years ago, it was very few people you would see that would tattoo
especially visible tattoos. If anyone's trying to get a job like you wouldn't have it

01:30:00 --> 01:30:32
			visible tattoos. It's just the way it was. But now Subhanallah you know, it's become so normalized.
You have like, 40 year old Karen's like, Hey, can I get a little butterfly right here on my back,
you know, like, walk into a, like, a tattoo shop and like, I get a little turtle right here, you
know, reminds me of like, I don't know, whatever, or, you know, a little thing of my dog. You know,
it's become so normalized. And, and to me, I'm like, tattoos aren't even cool anymore. Like, maybe
there was a time where tattoos were cool. Now, it's just so mainstream, like Subhanallah like
everyone, like, I don't know, like a 60 year old woman. Oh, aunties gotta got a tattoo. Like, how

01:30:32 --> 01:30:37
			cool Are you really? And I think about Subhanallah back when I thought tattoos were cool. And my
Jeconiah right.

01:30:38 --> 01:30:41
			handed in ah, I didn't get one of those tattoos because back then, you know what it was?

01:30:42 --> 01:30:46
			tribal tattoos. You know, tribal tattoos? Are anyone?

01:30:48 --> 01:31:07
			Tribal tribal designs, right? It's like those swirls and things like that. They were so cool. Back
in the day. Right? They were like, Yeah, big blocky tribal tattoos and all this kind of, and it was
so cool. Yeah. So Mike Tyson has a tribal tattoo. May Allah forgive him. Right. And he's our brother
Islam. So you know, oh, my God for him.

01:31:08 --> 01:31:46
			tribal tattoos. Today, you see something that a tribal tattoo and it's so cringe, because you're
like, Man, this is like a remnant from the 90s. Right? Like this was this is not cool anymore, like
nobody liked And subhanAllah their tattoos are seen as cool today. One of the things that's made a
resurgence is like henna style tattoos, right? So like little patterns and things like that, except
it won't be hanging out. It will be tattoos, right? I don't know how long that's gonna stay cool.
Some people are saying face tattoos? Absolutely. face tattoos are in right now. For how long? Right?
What happens? I was thinking it's kind of like, can you imagine like, like an 80 year old man or

01:31:46 --> 01:32:25
			eight year old, you know, auntie, talking to her grandkids. And like trying to like talk to them.
There's like, you know, his face tattoos and things like that, like what is going on? Right? And
subhanAllah I know some people and this is I'm not judging people who find tattoos to be attracted
attractive, okay. I get it. You know, we live in a society where things are made to be attractive.
I'll share a story with us panela I remember when I first accepted Islam, right, or started
practicing Islam. I was in college. And those of you know, my past, like music was a big part of my
life, right. And I just started practicing Islam. I had started going to the MSA muscle tone

01:32:25 --> 01:33:02
			Association on campus. And one day I'm in I'm in the gym. I'm on the treadmill. And one of the, one
of the main guys from the MSA, one of the advisors of the MSA older guy, probably in his late 30s,
early 40s, around that age. And he saw me like he was on the treadmill next to me, he's running, I'm
running. And subhanAllah you know, and he had seen me from from the MSA. And then all of a sudden,
like, on, you know, like in the gym and stuff. Certainly college campuses, like they play music on
the gym, on the speakers and stuff. And so a track comes on, right, a particular song. And the
brother turns to me because

01:33:04 --> 01:33:38
			he goes, Look at this, look at this, this this, this this speech. This is the speech of che upon how
disgusting, right? He's like, how horrible. And I'm like running. I'm like, dang, I was kind of vibe
into that man. And I was like, it was so weird for me to Palla. And I was like, Yeah, I felt so
guilty all of a sudden, I was like, because you know, I'm new to them and all that kind of stuff.
It's like one of my favorite tracks. I was like having a good time, like, you know, pumped up
running. And and the brothers like, Look at this. This is the the sheet music of chiffon. And I'm
like, yes, yes. Music of this. Yes, yes, definitely very bad, very bad. Right, normalize things get

01:33:38 --> 01:34:16
			normalized for us, right. And so this is why my point of mentioning that story is that we shouldn't
judge people, right? Because when things become normalized in society, it's really hard to not fall
prey to that. And we're actually we're all honest, we're all on a journey. We're trying to get close
to Allah who don't want to add it right. And so we should be careful before we advise people or
criticize people, you know, like I said, this is this is a challenge for us. As soon as one of the
attacks of the chef on changing of the creation of Allah changing what we should naturally find to
be good and attractive and nice and so on and so forth. Right? So this is one of the the meanings

01:34:16 --> 01:34:57
			here. And so Allah Subhana Allah says not to do that. There should be no changing. And tidying is
very interesting. If you look at I don't really have time to get into this overtimes. Pamela, but it
definitely versus Tim Dean right here. The shaytaan says, What are your own Alcala they will change
the creation of Allah, it's a little bit different than to do to deal is almost like replacement.
Right? So it's an added meaning that we get to the creation, like changing of the creation of others
changing and then there's replacing it. So not only are we being skewed in our understanding of what
is good and what is bad, but it is being replaced. Right And subhanAllah if you ponder on that, you

01:34:57 --> 01:34:59
			know, I don't know if we have time to get to it.

01:35:00 --> 01:35:42
			anymore but think about that that very issue right? That deed replacing replacing bad with with good
then Allah subhanaw taala says that he could Dino play him. This is or that is the straight way a
yam we find mentioned in the Quran and the Sunnah over and over again. For example loves Panama to
Allah says in the habit of Quran yeah the little lady here ACOEM surely this Quran guy, so that
which is UK one right UK one comes same same route here a young up one that which is upright that
which is correct that which is good, right? And and as Allah Subhana Allah says Fiat critical IEMA
and so the begging Allah says within it within which are correct writings, right so that is what is

01:35:42 --> 01:35:43
			correct

01:35:44 --> 01:36:29
			and good. Allah says, Now read emphasizes that point that this or that is the this is the correct
way of life, right? Even if it's not the norm, even if it's not what everybody else is doing. The
guidance that you have the guidance of the Quran, this is the correct way. And then Subhan Allah is
so beautiful, this verse is so beautiful. Allah has kind of data ends this verse with what I can
occur Nessie May Allah Subhana Allah, Allah says, However, most people do not know. Now, I said is
beautiful, but I want you to tell me why that's beautiful. What we've talked about so far, and then
Allah says in the end, what I can Accra nursing I go ahead, you tell me why that is a beautiful end

01:36:29 --> 01:36:30
			to this verse this minute.

01:36:35 --> 01:36:39
			I see an eye on mashallah racing to the front as well. And I go ahead and mute and Shelah

01:36:42 --> 01:37:03
			Is it because it reminds us of our limitations as human beings as a creation of Allah, we don't know
what's good for us. And so while Allah is warning us, at the same time, he's reminding us at the end
that we do not know. So even if you were to fall into the trap of shaitan, even if you were to go
astray, if you turned in, you would return back to him.

01:37:04 --> 01:37:13
			You know, oftentimes you go straight, not because it's it's intentional, but it's like your thing.
It's not a big deal. And so sorry about the background noise.

01:37:14 --> 01:37:28
			No, you're that's good. That's a good point there. Right. And it goes back to once again, the lack
of knowledge, right? So the point here is that when we do lack knowledge, unknowingly, we may fall
into this very good. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Well, I can handle up. I

01:37:29 --> 01:37:31
			got a couple more hands on hands. I read one on let's hear from you.

01:37:32 --> 01:37:33
			See?

01:37:37 --> 01:37:42
			Okay, okay, Cena settle down. So for me, I was thinking that

01:37:46 --> 01:37:48
			she was so excited seeing shiksa. So she's just

01:37:50 --> 01:38:13
			so basically, I was thinking that this says, you know, Allah guides whom He wills. And so basically,
if, if Allah doesn't want the guidance to come to you, you will not know you will not have the
knowledge. And in the Quran, many of the time you, it's very emphasized of the few of the few, and
so

01:38:14 --> 01:38:57
			and, and of the few of the ones who will enter Jannah of the few of the ones who are grateful. And
that is a repeated theme. And when you look on the polar opposite sides, most of you will, you know,
will disbelieve or most of you will be on the opposite scale. So the I'm guessing that this would be
most people do not know is from that kind of understanding. That's what my two cents No, that's
good. That's good. previous verse once again, I know I know, we didn't cover that in detail. But
Allah Subhana Allah says, for me, yeah, the man or the man above Allah, who will guide those whom
Allah allow us to go straight. Muhammad enough city, they have no helpers, right? So that's to your

01:38:57 --> 01:39:08
			point. Right? Right. Right before this last time to Allah says that who will guide those who Allah
allow us to go astray? So excellent, excellent reflection from the lab, very good. Hosts we have
we'll take one or two more people in trouble.

01:39:10 --> 01:39:12
			90 as well, let's hear from you in sha Allah.

01:39:13 --> 01:39:20
			Allah, me to deflection, you know, because don't be at that majority.

01:39:21 --> 01:39:36
			Majority is not not no. And don't be at that majority. Be. Don't follow the majority. And B, the non
person and have a knowledge and you don't follow the majority.

01:39:37 --> 01:39:38
			I think it's

01:39:39 --> 01:39:49
			very good. Very, very good. So that's the point, right? Allah Subhana. Allah says most people don't
know. So if you were to follow most people, then what would happen?

01:39:50 --> 01:39:52
			We go straight, right.

01:39:53 --> 01:39:59
			Very good. So that's that's the point here we're talking about we're talking about normalization, or
we're talking about getting desensitized to these things that we were just

01:40:00 --> 01:40:25
			be followers of what society says and what is moral or immoral in society, then Allah is reminding
us that look, your fitrah knows something. And Allah has reminded you of it and guidance has come to
you from Allah in the Quran and Sunnah practice and then follow that guidance and leave those who
are following their desires as was mentioned in the previous verse, very good hunting. I'll take one
more, one more person sha Allah, let's hear from Esma again, inshallah.

01:40:27 --> 01:40:34
			Hold on a smart is that MD is that Maryland? Are you from Maryland? Oh, Mashallah. 100 The home
team? Very good. Go ahead.

01:40:36 --> 01:40:53
			I was gonna say that. It also like humbles us, because I feel like a lot of us think, oh, yeah,
we're pretty good people. But it kind of reminds us that like, most people, like, don't know. So we
kind of check ourselves a little bit and like, think about like, where we really are, and become
more self aware.

01:40:54 --> 01:41:30
			You know, that's a beautiful, beautiful reflection, that instead of relying upon ourselves as human
beings, we reply, we rely upon guidance with the loss of data because people don't know, right?
We're human beings, we're limited in our knowledge. We're limited in our understanding, and we are
so fickle. One day, we may think something is good the next day, we may think it's bad, right? So it
was left up to our own desires. While we think well we know we will be constantly lost, right? We
and we see that happen in sight things, things change constantly, what is considered good and bad is
always changing. Subhanallah and so that's a beautiful, beautiful reflection that you know, people

01:41:30 --> 01:41:56
			as human beings, we are limited. So go back to the guidance from Allah who has pointed out
excellent, I think it's a wonderful reflection a good place to end for today. Zakouma Hi to everyone
who contributed, and everyone who joined live and hamdulillah and if anyone's listening later as
well, well, Allahu Allah, Allah Subhana Allah humo bionic eye shadow in a stockbroker to be like, I
miss my black background. This is so odd for me so weird to me.

01:41:57 --> 01:42:22
			I don't know if we say this, we think the same shape I don't know if we miss it, per se, but I love
the lights. It's lovely to have you with us even though you're mashallah, traveling in the middle of
other things, may Allah reward you for your time and your sacrifices. I mean, you're up, just like a
fair share. Sad. And so I think we're gonna need to have to, like do a full list of links for where
you can find the shift, because this is not the only place that hamdulillah and Jeff, do you have
anything happening in the last 10 Nights? Just that I do locally? And

01:42:24 --> 01:42:27
			I don't have any local people we have, but I've, honestly, I don't really know my schedule.

01:42:29 --> 01:42:58
			A couple different things, though, would you tell you like, No, I would I would us. So if the place
to really know what's going on with me is my Instagram Stories. Okay, so that's what I'm used, like,

underserved community that is Muslims with disabilities and they're doing their honestly Subhanallah
they are removing sin from us is what I usually say because they're taking care of something that is

01:43:42 --> 01:44:17
			responsibility upon all of us. And that is taking care of those in our own ma who has special needs.
Right? And if nobody's doing it, we're all sinful. So Alhamdulillah that we have medicine that is
doing that. They need our help. So sha Allah, I'm going to be there. It should be a good night and
