Riyadul Haqq – The Hijrah Of The Companions

Riyadul Haqq

The Islamic Calendar could have started from many important dates that happened during the life of the Prophet; including the great battles, the treaty of Hudaybiyah and the conquest of Makkah, but the Sahabah collectively agreed that the hijrah should be considered as the start of the Islamic Calendar.

This momentous occasion is regarded highly in the eyes of Allah to the extent that those who performed the Hijrah sincerely have been praised throughout the Qur’an. The rank of the Muhajirun (those who emigrated) surpassed that of the other companions as they had renounced not only their homes and their possessions, but their citizenship to the city of Makkah.

In this talk, Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq will detail some of the remarkable events and sacrifices made by the believing men and women in order to make their Hijrah complete.

The history and political context of the hedge movement, including the election of the Prophet sallali wa sallam and the confusion surrounding his real name, are discussed. The hedge was a woman with immediate family and faced challenges and struggles, leaving him in Mak Guinea. The hedge was later disregarded and faced similar struggles. The operator's hedge was found in a bottle and their family is upset, while the hedger's message to be mindful of one's motive and intention is also discussed. The speaker concludes by expressing a desire to appreciate the sacrifice of the Prophet sallali alayhi wa sallam's death and its impact on the culture of Islam.

			the first month of the new 1400 and 39th Islamic history year.

00:01:34 --> 00:01:39
			The Islamic calendar begins with the hitcher.

00:01:41 --> 00:01:43
			And all civilizations

00:01:44 --> 00:01:45
			peoples

00:01:47 --> 00:01:54
			have always marked the beginning of their calendar from a great momentous event.

00:01:59 --> 00:02:08
			It was the Sahaba of the lahori, who actually chose the hedgehog as the beginning of the Islamic
canon. During the time of

00:02:10 --> 00:02:11
			the law,

00:02:12 --> 00:02:16
			he gathered the seniors habit of the law and consulted them

00:02:18 --> 00:02:19
			about

00:02:20 --> 00:02:24
			marking the beginning points for calculating the months and years

00:02:27 --> 00:02:29
			a formal official calendar

00:02:31 --> 00:02:37
			and there was much consultation many of us have out of the library who made their suggestions, but
ultimately

00:02:38 --> 00:02:47
			most of the Sahaba of the lahari who suggested one thing that was already the opinion of say that I
would have thought of the alarm.

00:02:48 --> 00:02:52
			And as a result, that's what he decided.

00:02:55 --> 00:03:00
			And this the Islamic calendar was marked with the beginning of the hitcher.

00:03:02 --> 00:03:09
			So how about the alarm? Some of them even suggested other dates but what's remarkable is that

00:03:10 --> 00:03:13
			collectively this habit of the alarm chose the hedger

00:03:15 --> 00:03:23
			the immigration of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the companions from Mecca to Medina,
as the beginning point of Islamic canon,

00:03:24 --> 00:03:28
			they did not choose the birth of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:03:30 --> 00:03:33
			Or even the birth of Islam

00:03:34 --> 00:03:38
			in the 14th year of the prophets in the love mighty who sometimes live,

00:03:39 --> 00:04:00
			nor do they choose the beginning of the revelation of God, or even some of the miracles of the
prophets of the love it equals to them such as the miraculous journey of Mirage, is that our Mirage
in the 15th year of hijra, sorry in the second year of his life of the prophets and the love it
equals loves life.

00:04:01 --> 00:04:09
			Nor did they choose any of the other momentous events after the hitcher, such as some of the key and
decisive battles of but

00:04:11 --> 00:04:11
			or

00:04:13 --> 00:04:19
			the Treaty of Abia. In fact, they did not even choose the

00:04:21 --> 00:04:28
			greatest victory and conquest of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam of the city of Mecca in the
eighth year of his life,

00:04:30 --> 00:04:35
			nor did they choose the farewell pilgrimage, which was a huge occasion.

00:04:37 --> 00:04:47
			And nor did they choose the departure of the prophets and the love it was stolen from this world as
the beginning point of calculating

00:04:48 --> 00:04:59
			months and years and dates in Islam. Collectively this habit of the alarm rang and chose the hedger
of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his emigration from Makkah to

00:05:00 --> 00:05:00
			The

00:05:02 --> 00:05:13
			furthermore model the alarm actually said on that occasion whilst explaining some of the reasons for
choosing the hedgehog. He said that the hedger

00:05:14 --> 00:05:25
			was the criterion, and the distinction between hoc and battling between truth and false. And these
were the words of the alarm.

00:05:29 --> 00:05:32
			So why has the Islamic canon

00:05:35 --> 00:05:42
			been chosen to be calculated from the hedgehog was sort of last in the lab? It was?

00:05:46 --> 00:05:57
			Why was it so significant? And how? In what way did it surpass so many of the other momentous events
in the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the Muslims?

00:06:00 --> 00:06:02
			I've spoken on some of this in

00:06:03 --> 00:06:18
			thorough detail, such as in the few talks I've given on hedger in general, as well as in the
commentary of the Hadeeth mini shuttle the alarm from cerebral Hardy,

00:06:20 --> 00:06:27
			in which she relates the digital signal alarm it was with her father worked as a vehicle to the
alarm.

00:06:28 --> 00:06:33
			So I've commented on that in detail as well. But today, as promised,

00:06:34 --> 00:06:41
			I'd like to speak not about the header of the messenger some of the law it but the header of the
company

00:06:42 --> 00:06:44
			or the Sahaba of the law.

00:06:46 --> 00:06:47
			To illustrate

00:06:48 --> 00:06:54
			why, the hedger was a criterion and a distinction between truth and falsity.

00:06:58 --> 00:07:04
			And why the Sahaba of the alarm who chose the Hitler as a beginning point of the canon,

00:07:05 --> 00:07:13
			and why it meant so much to the extent that throughout Allah praises those who had done his job.

00:07:14 --> 00:07:42
			And in the eighth year of hedger at the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
actually declared that la hinted at the Battle for that after the conquest of Makkah, there is no
hitch. There is no emigration. With the conquest of Makkah, in the eighth year of hedger, hedger
came to an end. And from that point onwards, the whole map was divided into two groups, one very
small elite group

00:07:44 --> 00:08:02
			were chosen over and above everyone else, and the other group was the rest of them. And that one
elite special group, beloved to Allah, beloved to His Messenger sallallahu Sallam was the group that
had done his and the other group.

00:08:03 --> 00:08:23
			constituting the rest of the oma is that group that never did hedra and will never get the
opportunity to do that. Not even the companions surrounding the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam,
who had not taken part in the Hydra could acquire that honor after the eighth year

00:08:25 --> 00:08:54
			after the conquest of Mecca, so it really was special Allah praises them throughout the bar and they
are always given preference and privilege over everyone else. When the Prophet salallahu alayhi
wasallam led prayer. The people who stood in the front rows immediately behind him, were the more
Hargett on the emigrants when he had gatherings even though it was a very egalitarian community and
society, and

00:08:55 --> 00:09:13
			everyone will was treated equally still, even in that equal climates. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam would reserve special places at the front for the senior Mahajan and the emigrants. When
he would consult the Sahaba it'll be a long run.

00:09:15 --> 00:09:29
			The primary people who he who he would consult would be the Mahajan. They were the elite of the
Sahaba of the alarm during the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and even asked

00:09:31 --> 00:09:33
			him meant a lot.

00:09:35 --> 00:09:41
			And possibly one of the reasons why we don't regard Hydra to be so important

00:09:43 --> 00:09:50
			is that we may merely Think of it as an emigration a journey from one place to another.

00:09:53 --> 00:09:59
			So we may think of it as the companions giving up life in

00:10:00 --> 00:10:03
			Makkah and just choosing to move to a different city of Medina.

00:10:05 --> 00:10:06
			That wasn't

00:10:10 --> 00:10:21
			to understand hedger. We need to understand the history and the environment and the political social
climates of Makkah hamady.

00:10:24 --> 00:10:26
			The word hedger doesn't mean emigration.

00:10:28 --> 00:10:33
			Originally, it means leaving, shunning, abandoning.

00:10:36 --> 00:10:40
			That's the original meaning of hedge where the word hitter derives from.

00:10:41 --> 00:10:43
			last panel with the other season

00:10:44 --> 00:10:46
			with Jerome hunter and jameelah,

00:10:47 --> 00:11:13
			telling the Prophet sallallahu wasallam, how to respond to the verbal attacks and abuse of the
Quraysh Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was told in Geneva that shun them, a beautiful shunning
leave them the beat in a beautiful way I do not respond Do not be provoked. Do not be agitated by
them.

00:11:14 --> 00:11:18
			So just leave them tion That's the meaning of hedge.

00:11:19 --> 00:11:21
			Last season sort of them with death it

00:11:22 --> 00:11:24
			was the ABA what

00:11:25 --> 00:11:26
			what

00:11:28 --> 00:11:38
			was the ABA what words were reads ephedra, again, addressing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam? Allah says, impurity, shun abandoned leave.

00:11:40 --> 00:11:52
			In another verse, will Allah wa Surya be in a coma, or Anima, Jumeirah. And the messenger said, Oh
my Lord, indeed, my people have left this for an abandoned module.

00:11:53 --> 00:12:03
			So all of these words of the author and they are more are related to the roots were the hudgell,
which means to leave, to shun to abandon.

00:12:04 --> 00:12:17
			That's what hijra mean. It doesn't just mean emigrating or traveling from one place to another. It
means leaving shunning abandoning, and what that meant for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:12:19 --> 00:12:21
			And for the Sahaba of the law,

00:12:22 --> 00:12:32
			was that everything they held, dear. They're better birthplace, their wealth, their property, their
families, their loved ones, their home city,

00:12:34 --> 00:12:41
			their kin, their plan, their tribes, the only protection they had.

00:12:42 --> 00:12:46
			They were willing to abandon and renounce or

00:12:47 --> 00:12:52
			Makkah was a city state, Medina who was an enemy city state of Makkah,

00:12:54 --> 00:12:55
			by doing hedger,

00:12:57 --> 00:13:02
			they were renouncing their blood, their kin, their time and their protection.

00:13:05 --> 00:13:17
			They will renouncing their citizenship of Makkah. And for the people of Makkah and their own
families, this was the ultimate betrayal. This was the ultimate treason.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:31
			treason punishable by imprisonment and torture as a minimum in the eyes of the mccanns. All by
death, because they regarded this as high treason.

00:13:33 --> 00:13:38
			That's what hedger meant, and yet still, the Sahaba of the Allah

00:13:39 --> 00:13:53
			upon the call of last messenger, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they were willing to renounce their
citizenship of the city of Mecca, renounced the protection of their kin, their blood, their cleanse
their families,

00:13:54 --> 00:14:12
			to renounce all claim to their wealth, their property, their belongings, their homes, and leave
muckety muck Rama, once and for all for good, never to return, except temporarily. They were willing
to do that. That's why law.

00:14:14 --> 00:14:16
			That's right, a sort of loss of the law legal system.

00:14:19 --> 00:14:21
			To understand the climate,

00:14:23 --> 00:14:28
			even the profits alarm, it was seldom required protection, there was no law.

00:14:30 --> 00:14:35
			It was a tribal culture. There was no law, there was no government, there was no central authority.

00:14:37 --> 00:14:39
			There was only a balance of power.

00:14:41 --> 00:14:43
			Everyone had to belong to

00:14:45 --> 00:14:50
			a group. So people took shelter, they took refuge in

00:14:52 --> 00:14:53
			their family's

00:14:54 --> 00:14:59
			immediate family so the family relied on itself. Brothers, sisters,

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03
			siblings that immediate family relied on itself on one another.

00:15:04 --> 00:15:36
			Families then relied on other families. These families constituted a clan they relied on the clan.
clans relied on their fellow clans, fellow clans relied on their tribe. Tribes relied on their
fellow tribes, and these tribes relied on their super tribe. It was only in this way that a person's
life, wealth and property was killed. Even the Noble Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, despite
being who he was, with his band of followers in Makkah.

00:15:38 --> 00:15:41
			He had the protection of his unkillable body

00:15:42 --> 00:15:56
			when I will, Dileep died in the fifth year of hedra, in the fifth year of the Prophet sallallahu
wasallam his life, leadership of the clan of the new Hashem, to which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam belonged, shifted to his other uncle, Abu lahab.

00:15:57 --> 00:15:58
			Abu lahab,

00:16:00 --> 00:16:12
			no longer gave or the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his loved ones were no longer
confident of the protection of Abu lahab because he was in cahoots with the enemies amongst the
Quraysh.

00:16:13 --> 00:16:15
			So the Prophet sallallahu, I think he was

00:16:17 --> 00:16:29
			initially, even the non Muslim members of his family and clan, because they belonged and stuck
together as a clan, they afforded him protection under the leadership of all darling.

00:16:32 --> 00:16:33
			The arrays would say to

00:16:35 --> 00:16:36
			a body, that

00:16:38 --> 00:16:42
			hand over your neck eaters, you would refuse

00:16:44 --> 00:16:48
			renounce your protection of your nephew, about it would refuse.

00:16:50 --> 00:17:01
			And that was the only reason that arranged did not physically and directly harm the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Because of that balance of power, they knew that if they harmed him,

00:17:02 --> 00:17:05
			he had the protection of his immediate family.

00:17:06 --> 00:17:14
			His immediate family then had the protection of the clan have been Hashem boo Hirsch and then had
the protection of the fellow clans.

00:17:16 --> 00:17:20
			So this was their calculation. This is why they left the province of the law it was for them alone.

00:17:22 --> 00:17:26
			And they knew that if they could somehow remove the protection of double value,

00:17:28 --> 00:17:52
			they would be able to do what they wished with the profits and love it. This is why the boycott in
the valley of herbal barley came about it wasn't so much directly at the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam rather, it was aimed at a bargain and his clan because they said to him, if you do not
renounce your protection or your nephew, we will then boycott you

00:17:53 --> 00:17:54
			and your clan.

00:17:58 --> 00:18:03
			And even many of the non Muslim members of his blue ocean claim

00:18:04 --> 00:18:08
			they were willing to suffer the boycotts of the rest of the branch

00:18:10 --> 00:18:11
			rather than give up

00:18:12 --> 00:18:23
			the protection or sort of laughs and alarm and he wasn't. But when he passed away in the 50th year
of the profits of the law, it was Williams life leadership mentor.

00:18:25 --> 00:18:37
			Abu lahab was a sworn enemy. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam no longer had his protection.
And the clan have been harsh and couldn't do anything. Because they were reliant on their lead.

00:18:38 --> 00:18:52
			They couldn't split the clan. So even those who want to support him, individually, they could not
support him, because they never had the protection or the support of the cannabinol Hashem under the
leadership of a lab.

00:18:53 --> 00:19:04
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam actually began looking for protection elsewhere. This is
why he left Makkah to go to five. We know he went back.

00:19:06 --> 00:19:39
			And we all commonly believe that he went to five to give that power. He didn't go to five to give
our but why, particularly to bar if to give our the Dawa was to invite the bins the thief the rival
tribe in Fife. They were the rivals of operation to invite the cleanse and the tribe of booms, the
thief to Islam. And if they became his followers, that way he would gain their protection.

00:19:41 --> 00:19:59
			The people of life rejected the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he came back. Do you know
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not and could not enter Makkah again because he did not
have the protection of his own clan nor did he win the protection of

00:20:02 --> 00:20:03
			It was only when

00:20:08 --> 00:20:09
			multimillionaire ID

00:20:11 --> 00:20:18
			from the bundle nofal one of the Federal claims of the profits of the love it was in his family.
When he

00:20:19 --> 00:20:24
			came out of Makkah, and he was a non Muslim, he was a father of Jabez came out of the alarm.

00:20:25 --> 00:20:36
			He came out of Makkah with his sons, and he knew that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam needed
protection. So he said to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, I will give you my protection,

00:20:37 --> 00:20:46
			and within ignore ID as a non Muslim. He took his sons brought the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam into Makkah, after his visit to by

00:20:48 --> 00:21:01
			took him to the harem, and he stood guard, armed with his son's an under the arm the guard of Muslim
Ebner ID a non Muslim and his sons.

00:21:02 --> 00:21:18
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam performed the walk around the gap and look at the announced
that he is under my protection. So again, it was that balance of power. Now that moves him have
given the his protection to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:21:21 --> 00:21:27
			No one could do anything to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam because they would have to then
fend with what

00:21:29 --> 00:22:09
			if they had to contend with multinational ID, they will then have to contend with his claim that but
nofo and then it just escalated. So it was only with the protection of multinational ID a non Muslim
that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam was actually able to enter Makoto makara. I've given
this example to explain the climates then, if even someone as noble, as powerful, as prestigious as
the messenger, sallAllahu wasallam found it difficult without the protection of the family of kin,
clan and blood, then imagine the other Sahaba of the alarm.

00:22:10 --> 00:22:11
			This is why

00:22:12 --> 00:22:13
			people like

00:22:15 --> 00:22:16
			Booba, chronicity.

00:22:18 --> 00:22:24
			And the other seniors harbottle, the alarm management, why weren't they targeted?

00:22:25 --> 00:22:55
			It wasn't because of their wealth. No, they weren't targeted because of this balance of power. If
any one of them was targeted, the race would then have to contend with their families and then their
clans. And this would just lead to an inter Clan War within the range. So they left them. They
wanted to but it was only for this fear that they left them. The ones they did target were the ones
who had no family clan protection.

00:22:56 --> 00:22:58
			They were the ones they taught.

00:23:00 --> 00:23:07
			So I modeled the asset or the alarm his mother so me out of the alarm. I'm the first martyr in

00:23:09 --> 00:23:47
			his father, the asset or the alarm. Now, they were freed slaves. So they never had family and clan.
But even they couldn't survive in Macau without the protection. So because they were freed by the
boom zone plan, they had the protection of the boom zone plan. So no one would harm them. Because if
someone harmed the family of the asset, his wife Samia, his son Amar on the family, they would have
to contend with the Blue Zone. And the blue Moxon claim was powerful. So nobody harmed them, even
though they were foreigners, and they were slave freed slaves.

00:23:48 --> 00:23:55
			So why were Then why were they then tortured, because they were tortured by the blue Muslim clan
itself, a Buddha

00:23:57 --> 00:24:05
			have been Muslim, he and the others torture them. Since they were being tortured by their own
protectors, nobody could defend.

00:24:06 --> 00:24:19
			This is how below the alarm, Amar my noble parents are both martyred. This is how they many of them
and others like them, the torture hubbub for the marine that was a climate in which

00:24:21 --> 00:24:27
			it was under these circumstances. Now when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said emigrate to
Medina.

00:24:28 --> 00:24:57
			They had to do so secretly, and to emigrate meant signing their own death warrant. Because the
arrange would refuse to allow any of them to leave. Why? To allow them to leave was considered to be
a disgrace, that we are weak. These people were able to escape us know, for them to leave meant high
treason because it would mean abandoning their own city

00:24:59 --> 00:24:59
			renouncing their

00:25:00 --> 00:25:12
			citizenship and joining the enemy city of Medina, or that as they would call it yesterday, they
wouldn't allow it. This is why the regime actively searched out,

00:25:13 --> 00:25:26
			looked out for and pursued aggressively pursued anyone who traveled to do hedger. Sometimes, if they
ever caught wind of someone making an intention to do a Hydra, they would imprison

00:25:27 --> 00:25:30
			just like Abu Jamal. He imprisoned his own brothers

00:25:31 --> 00:25:38
			and others as well. They imprison their own family members, as soon as they learned that they may do
it.

00:25:40 --> 00:25:45
			It was under the circumstances that the Sahaba of the land emigrated from Guatemala.

00:25:46 --> 00:26:03
			This is why there was so beloved to Allah and his assault on the law it suddenly this is why Hydra
was the greatest deed, then, and why no deed can match the hedger of the early companions that are
the alarm.

00:26:04 --> 00:26:06
			And how did this How about have the alarm do

00:26:08 --> 00:26:14
			that there are so many examples, but even the weak, the blind, the poll,

00:26:16 --> 00:26:17
			or whatever the loved one did?

00:26:19 --> 00:26:19
			And when he left,

00:26:21 --> 00:26:26
			he went with a group of 20 so how about all the alarms couldn't stop him? He actually challenged
them.

00:26:27 --> 00:26:29
			So they couldn't stop him.

00:26:30 --> 00:26:43
			But the others are harbottle the alarm? One of the first people to emigrate from Mecca to Medina.
Under these circumstances, like I said, when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did hijra, they
sent out search parties again after him.

00:26:44 --> 00:27:04
			Under these circumstances, Abdullah he blew mimic tomorrow via la hora and a companion who was
blind. He was one of the first people to do Hitler, he and Muslim would never be allowed. A blind
Sahabi Abdullah had not only macoun he did Hydra from Mecca to Medina. Under those circumstances,
one of the first people to do

00:27:06 --> 00:27:08
			another blind Sahar Sahabi.

00:27:10 --> 00:27:14
			Abdul jash, the brother of Zane had been to Joshua de la when

00:27:16 --> 00:27:20
			he was married to the daughter of Sophia.

00:27:22 --> 00:27:23
			And he was blind.

00:27:25 --> 00:27:28
			He was looking for an opportunity to do his

00:27:30 --> 00:27:31
			they couldn't.

00:27:33 --> 00:27:35
			His wife, his own wife opposed

00:27:36 --> 00:27:38
			his own wife opposed

00:27:39 --> 00:27:40
			because she was the daughter of Sophia.

00:27:42 --> 00:27:53
			Eventually, he managed to find an opportunity and along with other family members, he secretly even
though he was a leading member of the board, ah, he secretly left

00:27:54 --> 00:28:06
			with his members of his family as a blind individual. And he traveled from Gotham Medina and I also
have Yann who was his father in law. As soon as he learns that my son in law

00:28:07 --> 00:28:18
			in brijesh has left You're so enraged that he went to his house, and he claimed the whole house, and
he sold off the house and all its possessions

00:28:19 --> 00:28:20
			until took money.

00:28:21 --> 00:28:22
			His own Son in laws

00:28:24 --> 00:28:45
			This is how the Sahaba de la lost their families, their blood, their kin, husbands and wives were
separated mothers and children was separated. Parents were separated from their children siblings
were separate. They did it out of choice, and they lost their wealth wealth wasn't anything for them
when Oh my God Allah horn

00:28:46 --> 00:28:47
			did

00:28:48 --> 00:28:49
			I yeah, should not obeah

00:28:52 --> 00:28:58
			he was one of the family members of all gentlemen others, they send people to collect them from
Medina.

00:29:01 --> 00:29:07
			They misled him that your mother is in a terrible condition she needs to see you You need to visit
her

00:29:09 --> 00:29:36
			and model the allow her and reassured him or can try to convince him that this is a plot do not
return. Uh, yeah, surely is was a bit confused at the time, because of his mother, a lot of the
alohar and just to keep him in Medina, he even said to him, I will give you whatever you need, you
know that all the wealth I have. He said here, I give you half of my wealth, take half of my wealth,
but stay here do not return to me.

00:29:38 --> 00:29:40
			A lot of the allowing was willing to part with his wealth.

00:29:42 --> 00:29:51
			And we've all heard the story of sohaib in the scenario of Rumi or the Allah and so he began to say
Nana Rumi more famously known as Sahiba Rumi, so he's the Roman.

00:29:54 --> 00:29:58
			Before I continue, I just like to clarify something here. He wasn't wrote

00:30:00 --> 00:30:10
			We believe well people often say of him that he was Rome and he wasn't Rome. So Hey, bro the alarm
was an error, a bow and arrow from Northern Arabia.

00:30:11 --> 00:30:13
			He in the

00:30:14 --> 00:30:16
			I've explained this before in the

00:30:17 --> 00:30:26
			wars, while in the, in the many battles between Byzantine Rome and society perish here

00:30:29 --> 00:30:34
			since they had northern Arab tribes who are allied to both Byzantine Roman society, Persia

00:30:35 --> 00:30:37
			and they were also involved in the fighting.

00:30:39 --> 00:31:15
			So he battled the alarm as a child was captured by the Byzantine Romans because his family was
aligned with the sassanid Persian so in their battles in that war, he was captured by the Byzantine
Romans and they took him to some areas, Byzantine wrong doesn't mean wrong, but Byzantine Rome so
anatolii, or modern day Turkey, or even northern Arabia, Sham Syria, modern day Syria. So Hey, bro,
the alarm as a child grew up amongst these Byzantine Romans, but he was a born out. He was Arab.

00:31:16 --> 00:31:18
			And he learns Greek.

00:31:21 --> 00:31:22
			Again, another

00:31:25 --> 00:31:37
			although they were Byzantine Romans as a continuation of the Byzantine Roman Empire of the Roman
Empire, in language and culture, they were actually Greek. So they spoke Greek.

00:31:38 --> 00:31:52
			So when we come across classical arrhythmia, in when we come across the word of Lumia, in classical
Islamic sources and heavy etc, he actually means Greek, not Roman, in terms of language.

00:31:56 --> 00:32:04
			And this is why in some of the orientalist translations in the surah of the Quran and Islam meme
only, but the room

00:32:05 --> 00:32:08
			the 30th sort of the sort of the room

00:32:09 --> 00:32:19
			the words any flat mean whatever the room literally mean, Alif Lam Meem, the Romans have been
vanquished. But in some of the orientalist translations from the earlier

00:32:20 --> 00:33:07
			orientalist translators, the words are actually an E flat meme, the Greeks have been defeated. So
people often say Greek is word is very clear a room, but it's because in culture in language, they
were Greek. So So hey, but of the Allahu unlearned Greek, and that's why he was referred to he spoke
fluent Greek and he was referred to as Sahiba, Rooney, the Roman, but then he fled from, according
some reports, he was, he was sold to someone in Makkah, according to him to others, he was, he came,
he fled, and he came to Makkah himself. In any case, he was a born Arab, but he was referred to as
Roman simply because he, as a child has been there, lived in that culture, learn the language, etc.

00:33:08 --> 00:33:34
			Otherwise, he was actually an error. So he roomier the alarm in muckety muck arena. He managed to
engage in trade and business and it became quite wealthy. He embraced Islam at a very early stage,
when the time came for him to do his job. So he would have the alarm war. And again, he was being
watched and monitored. And he secretly left the operation proceed.

00:33:35 --> 00:33:37
			When they pursued him, they caught up with him.

00:33:39 --> 00:33:49
			And there were there was a lot of a lot of words were exchanged. But some of those words were that
they said to him, so Hey, where are you going, we won't let you go.

00:33:51 --> 00:34:13
			And if you wish to flee, you fleeing with your wealth as well, you came to Makkah port and you
enriched yourself here. Now you flee with your wealth. So he broke the law, and he had a quiver of
arrows, he laid down his quiver and laid down his arrows. And he said, Do not approach me because as
you know, I'm an expert arch. I will take as many of you with me as I can,

00:34:14 --> 00:34:15
			I will not spare.

00:34:17 --> 00:34:47
			If if it's wealth that interests you, then let me go. And you can have all my wealth in me and even
tell you where my treasures are buried. You can have my properties. You can even have that wealth
which I have deposited with other people, and even the treasure which I have buried. I'll guide you
to it. Are you satisfied with that? They said, Fine, we'll let you go. The whole bound of the gray
sheet of the gray shoe obscuring him.

00:34:48 --> 00:34:59
			He traded them off by giving them all of his wealth, everything that he had, he renounced it, and he
continued along to Medina all by himself.

00:35:01 --> 00:35:02
			When he arrived in Medina

00:35:06 --> 00:35:46
			How about all the love and he began congratulating him. She said over what, eventually when he was
taken to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, even before he mentioned anything, the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him, also he will be held by Robin Hood, they mean the trade was
profitable, the trade was profitable. And it said that the verse of the Holy Quran was revealed in
his honor, I'm in a nasty machine of self development of that the law will love will often believe
that there are of the servants of Allah, or they are of the people, those who sell their souls,
seeking the pleasure of Allah.

00:35:47 --> 00:36:05
			And that will Sahiba who needed the alarm. So when it came to wealth, they renounce their wealth, it
didn't matter. Abdullah jash lost his house. His property was blind. It didn't bother him to live
and tomorrow the alarm was blind. He did hijra, there was another Sahabi it'll be a lot more.

00:36:06 --> 00:36:09
			He was weak blonde.

00:36:10 --> 00:36:35
			Again, he wanted to do the hedgerows, but he couldn't. Eventually he managed to muster the strength
and the means, and he told his family put me on my mount. They put him on his mound, and blind he
started his Hydra from Mugu. But he reached me at the Noreen where those of us who have been formula
hedge, especially former if you've

00:36:36 --> 00:37:19
			that the name is where it Chateau de la hora and I was instructed by the prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam to enter into the state of her arm. She went from being just on the outskirts, it's about
six miles out. And she entered into the State of Israel and returned and now we have that famous Mr.
Aisha. So near the mystery of the shadow, the alarm her on in the name near that Masjid. This is
where the Sahaba of the alarm reached, and he passed away. And he's actually buried there. So it's
narrated that it was of this Sahabi or the alarm that Allah actually revealed the verse that those
who

00:37:21 --> 00:37:26
			were Jaco has been beat him or her, didn't it ally, what a solar thermal you direct remote worker,

00:37:28 --> 00:37:45
			that whoever leaves seeking to emigrate for the sake of Allah, whoever leaves his home, so you can
immigrate for the sake of Allah, and then death seizes him, for the worker Andrew, who Allah then
indeed his reward has become bounded.

00:37:46 --> 00:38:22
			Meaning Allah undertakes to give him his reward. He was blind, unable to travel. And he in fact, he
couldn't even go as far as a few miles, and he died at the name. But that was their struggle. That
was a sacrifice. That was their intention. And these were all blind. So how about all the love our
income? According some generations, his name was dama dama hora de la muchacha de la creme de la
creme de la one. We're not even speaking about lo Sahaba who have fit and strong primero de la,
fitness children.

00:38:23 --> 00:38:47
			We are delighted numero de la when was a child and it is hedger with his father, oh my god, Allah.
But even more remarkable than Abdullah have Norma viola, and were the two young brothers. The sons
of abass. Above the father didn't do hijra. In fact, he embraced Islam much late. So even without
the father embracing

00:38:48 --> 00:39:10
			the two sons, Abdullah had not a boss who was only eight years old. And his brother and father of my
birth, who was 13 years old, two brothers 13 years old. And Father, and his younger brother Abdullah
at the age of eight, these two with just one other assistant. They did hijra from

00:39:13 --> 00:39:17
			two young boys 13 and eight Abdullah and and

00:39:18 --> 00:39:19
			his older brother.

00:39:21 --> 00:39:34
			There were others who did Hydra has the young age, the weak, the pole, the blind, and the women
allow some of the greatest sacrifices, when it came to hedger were those of

00:39:37 --> 00:39:46
			none other than the family of a sort of loss of the love it wasn't in the first hedger from Makkah,
not to Medina but to Abyssinia.

00:39:47 --> 00:39:55
			One of the leaders was with man with the alarm. And he traveled with the daughter of the Prophet
Silla love and eco slumber Pia will be alarmed

00:39:58 --> 00:39:59
			when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:40:00 --> 00:40:00
			solicited HR

00:40:02 --> 00:40:13
			from mcdata Medina. He left his family members in his daughter Xena, but of the alarm, his eldest
daughter, she was still in Makkah

00:40:15 --> 00:40:17
			with her family with her husband

00:40:18 --> 00:40:20
			ablon signal Ruby

00:40:23 --> 00:40:24
			it's one of those

00:40:29 --> 00:40:32
			strange points but I will add a signal Ruby

00:40:33 --> 00:40:35
			remained a non Muslim

00:40:36 --> 00:40:39
			even while it's being married to Xena but of the law

00:40:40 --> 00:40:44
			and he actually fought in the Battle of better against his own father in

00:40:46 --> 00:40:51
			the province and the law while he was so he was in the camp of the court ah.

00:40:55 --> 00:40:57
			He was one of the captives.

00:40:59 --> 00:41:07
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam decided that they would be ransomed those who could afford to
pay the ransom they would pay the ransom

00:41:09 --> 00:41:10
			word we'll send

00:41:11 --> 00:41:21
			that send your people along with your wealth to ransom your family kin clan members. Xena Brody
Allahu Allah.

00:41:23 --> 00:41:29
			sent a necklace to ransom her husband, a Valera signal Ruby.

00:41:34 --> 00:41:40
			When the necklace arrived, and it was brought before a sort of La Silla Holly suddenly

00:41:43 --> 00:41:51
			he broke down in tears, because that was a necklace of her mother in law she had given it to

00:41:53 --> 00:41:56
			so the prophets and the love it, some of them broke down in tears.

00:42:00 --> 00:42:07
			So how about the love? He requested them that if you wish, in honor of her mother, allowed him to

00:42:09 --> 00:42:31
			imagine he was a leader but he sought their permission. So how about the law of greed? The Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam return the necklace Tuesday nebrodi Allahu anhu did not take it as
ransom and Allah Allah signal Robbie has been husband was free. But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam said to her on one can I am on one condition.

00:42:32 --> 00:42:34
			Send my daughter to

00:42:35 --> 00:42:43
			allow my daughter to come here. I will ask agreed that I will let Zayn have come to you. Prior to
that he wouldn't

00:42:44 --> 00:43:02
			ever be returned to Makkah. He then allowed his wife Xena, but of the allowing her the daughter of
Allah salallahu alayhi wa sallam to travel and to hitchhike. But imagine the circumstances he could
not accompany.

00:43:03 --> 00:43:04
			And he didn't.

00:43:06 --> 00:43:12
			But secretly, he told his brother kwinana that you go and take Zane up.

00:43:16 --> 00:43:18
			So kinema bhullar says brother

00:43:19 --> 00:43:28
			zenobia lover and his brother in law, he secretly took Xena, the daughter of Rasulullah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, and he led her out of Mecca

00:43:29 --> 00:43:30
			to do the hitch.

00:43:32 --> 00:43:34
			The Rh founder

00:43:38 --> 00:43:39
			and they came

00:43:41 --> 00:43:42
			one of them

00:43:43 --> 00:43:45
			came and started prodding

00:43:46 --> 00:44:05
			the camel of Zainab rhodiola and he kept him prodding it to the spear. To the extent that he enjoyed
it so much that the camel collapsed. When the camel collapsed Xena road the alarm rang her fell off.
And she was pregnant at the time and she suffered a miscarriage.

00:44:09 --> 00:44:10
			By that time,

00:44:11 --> 00:44:24
			these were the low ones amongst the Quraysh, the more belligerent ones. Then Abu Sufyan arrived with
some of the other leaders. And he said to them, what's happening here. Then he said to Ghana,

00:44:25 --> 00:44:27
			he said to Ghana, this is your fault.

00:44:29 --> 00:44:31
			You should have not taken her out of the city.

00:44:33 --> 00:44:38
			And also cans words were that if we allow her to go

00:44:40 --> 00:44:42
			people will say

00:44:43 --> 00:44:44
			that

00:44:45 --> 00:44:46
			we are weak.

00:44:48 --> 00:44:52
			So I'll tell you what to do. Don't take her now and bring her back to

00:44:54 --> 00:45:00
			leave her been mocked for a while, until things settle down. And then secretly you can

00:45:00 --> 00:45:10
			Take what you can't take her now, lest the Arabs say that she was able to escape mugdha because of
our softness and our weakness,

00:45:12 --> 00:45:15
			Xena brought the alarm around her was forced back to

00:45:16 --> 00:45:19
			that she was kept in Makkah under God.

00:45:21 --> 00:45:26
			And it was only later that she was allowed to travel to Medina.

00:45:27 --> 00:45:59
			But she actually suffered a miscarriage and that was the mean of the daughter of Rasulullah
sallallahu. It was seldom a miscarriage. In the event of the hedgehog, cinema, how the law and how
the wife of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam at that time, she was married to abou cinema had
all the alarm on all of the Sahaba of the lava and more very closely related abou cinema how the
alarm rang, who was the first husband in the cinema how the alarm ha, he was actually the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his cousin brother

00:46:00 --> 00:46:09
			is his first cousin. And not only that, but just like Hamza heard the alarm. He was also the milk
brother of the Prophet salallahu it

00:46:10 --> 00:46:19
			so I will send him I heard the alarm was the milk brother of the prophets and the love and he was he
was very close. He was married to almost send them out of the alarm

00:46:21 --> 00:46:27
			abou cinema de la hora and decided to travel to Medina and do the hitch

00:46:28 --> 00:46:29
			with his wife and

00:46:30 --> 00:46:38
			they had a baby called Selim selama, the father of cinema and the mother of cinema. They left.

00:46:40 --> 00:46:46
			Soon as they left, they hadn't proceeded very far at all. When

00:46:47 --> 00:46:53
			her family, her immediate family, the boomer era, they came

00:46:55 --> 00:47:20
			and they grabbed the reins of abou cinemas camel, they were both on the same camel with the baby.
They grabbed the reins of cinema's camel. And the balloon movida, her family said to him, we can't
stop you. But we will not allow you to take our daughter all sudden, she's our family. We won't let
you take her wherever you want, and go to your friend.

00:47:22 --> 00:47:29
			So they pull the camel, they push, they got him off, they got the mother and the baby off.

00:47:30 --> 00:47:40
			And they said we will keep her we're not going to allow you to take some abuse on him or her your
loved one was left alone, when I will send them his family,

00:47:41 --> 00:47:43
			his immediate family, the boom.

00:47:46 --> 00:47:49
			As soon as they found out that this is what the

00:47:51 --> 00:47:53
			other family has done. They came

00:47:54 --> 00:47:57
			and they couldn't claim almost out of the law.

00:47:58 --> 00:48:15
			So they said if you've taken your daughter, from her husband, and our family member of all cinema,
then by no means will we allow you to keep our son meaning the baby center. So they said we will
take the baby

00:48:17 --> 00:48:26
			they began jostling and fighting amongst themselves. To the extent that almost sentimental the alarm
high relates with an unlikely witness

00:48:27 --> 00:48:39
			that they began pulling the baby one and the other to such an extent that in the struggle, they
ended up pulling his arm out of the socket that will send him

00:48:40 --> 00:48:43
			the baby, they pull the baby's arm out of his socket.

00:48:45 --> 00:48:46
			Then

00:48:47 --> 00:49:25
			we'll send him his family the boomerang deal so they did overpower the other so they took the baby
Subhana Allah, the baby was taken by Abu sediminis family the boomerang felicite. The mother almost
Sonoma heard the alarm and he was taken by her family the balloon leader. It was sent him and was
left alone. He traveled alone onwards Timothy Wilson a model the alarm essays that are was kept
behind by my family. Every morning, I would go out to the plane of Makkah. And I would sit there and
I would weep all day long till the evening. And then I'd come back home.

00:49:26 --> 00:49:50
			And then the next day, I'd go back in the morning, and I'd sit there on out weep all day, and then
come back home. She said I did this for one year. For one year, I never saw my child for a meaning I
did not have my child with me. Or my husband. Husband was in Medina, almost Sonoma who was with her
family forcibly kept, the baby was forcibly kept by the other friendly.

00:49:52 --> 00:49:55
			After one year, one of her own family members

00:49:57 --> 00:49:59
			saw her weeping and he took pity on her

00:50:00 --> 00:50:11
			And he went to the rest of the clan. And he said, Why do we do this to our own daughter? Have mercy.
They agreed. They reunited her with her baby.

00:50:12 --> 00:50:35
			But imagine the circumstances, none of them none of the family said we will allow you to go We will
take you to Medina, tier three. All they did is they reunited her with her baby. Then almost send
them out of the allow her and her sacrifice such commitment. She decided to do hedger. She and her
baby all of them

00:50:37 --> 00:50:37
			from

00:50:42 --> 00:50:45
			a non Arab or non Muslim Arab saw her

00:50:46 --> 00:50:47
			a novel.

00:50:48 --> 00:51:06
			And he said to her, where are you going? She said, I'm going to Medina. Is that all alone? She said
yes, by Allah. Other than a lot other than Allah. I only had my baby. He said, This can't be done.
You can't go along. He said I will take

00:51:07 --> 00:51:57
			and in a noble manner a non Muslim Arab. He took a camel, he fixed the holder on the camel, and he
allowed her to ride and he would stay in front. Almost no matter the alarm on her swore in the name
of a Lancer by Allah. I have never seen a more noble Arab than him. Throughout the journey, he would
never come anywhere near me. But when, when it came time to rest, I would dismount. He would prepare
the camel he would help it rest he would remove the holder and then he'd go and rest at a distance.
When the time came to resume the journey. He came prepared the camel put me on the camel, and he
would lead the way. She said buying a lot. I've never seen a more noble Arab than him. He took her

00:51:57 --> 00:51:59
			all the way to yesterday

00:52:00 --> 00:52:13
			to Medina. And upon arrival of Uber, he actually said to her that is Uber which is to the south of
the city of Medina. And he said that's where your husband said him or his goat. I know Baraka Tila

00:52:15 --> 00:52:18
			and then he actually returned to me.

00:52:20 --> 00:52:25
			That was a nobility. Allah subhanho wa Taala. Allah guided him to Islam six years late,

00:52:27 --> 00:52:30
			after the Treaty of Arabia with man with the Allah and embraced Islam.

00:52:32 --> 00:52:35
			That's the story of one

00:52:36 --> 00:52:38
			other woman, almost Santa Maria la Han,

00:52:41 --> 00:52:42
			solo model de la.

00:52:43 --> 00:52:50
			Pass passed away. He was injured in the Battle of art and then he passed away. After that we will
send them out of the law, married the prophets, and

00:52:55 --> 00:53:00
			these were just some of the women Zane of his daughter selama, his future wife.

00:53:01 --> 00:53:07
			And again, another remarkable story of the sacrifice and the commitment of the hijra. The Sahaba of
the loved one

00:53:09 --> 00:53:11
			we've all heard of rockbottom NaVi might

00:53:13 --> 00:53:14
			not be might,

00:53:15 --> 00:53:22
			again was a distant relative of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam but one of his bitterest enemies.
He's the one who

00:53:23 --> 00:53:29
			once they were in the harem, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was praying Salah Abu Jen,

00:53:30 --> 00:53:33
			they were all seated in the Helene

00:53:34 --> 00:53:39
			beneath the canopy in the shade on their couches.

00:53:40 --> 00:53:48
			They were observing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam praying Salah I'm delighted that the
lava and relates the front insolvable hardy

00:53:51 --> 00:53:58
			abou gel said the camel camel have such and such a family has just given birth.

00:53:59 --> 00:54:09
			Who will go and fetch the amniotic sac and the afterbirth. syllogism of this camel, and come and
dump it on.

00:54:11 --> 00:54:17
			So the worst amongst them. I'm delighted to see that the alarm essays are home the most evil

00:54:19 --> 00:54:20
			and bitterest. One amongst them.

00:54:22 --> 00:54:28
			He rose and he went and he fetched this amniotic sac and the afterbirth and the sheep camp.

00:54:29 --> 00:54:32
			And who was that? The same would have not been?

00:54:33 --> 00:54:59
			So he went and fetched it and dumped it on the Prophet sallallahu it was he was back while he was in
subdued in frustration. It was so heavy that he could not rise from his frustration and delight in
them. I saw that the alarm says that I was helpless. I couldn't do anything. All I could do was
stand there and watch them fall tomorrow the alarm. I'm her little girl she came someone informed
the family she came running, she pushed off the MDR

00:55:00 --> 00:55:17
			Exactly after birth and the filth from the back of a sort of lots of little hidey holes in them. And
then the prophets alarm it was, was able to rise and that little fancy model the alarm her in the
head and then the path of garba she stood there, abusing the leaders of the flesh.

00:55:19 --> 00:55:22
			Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stood up and he made

00:55:24 --> 00:55:25
			love Malik

00:55:26 --> 00:55:31
			Allahu la cabeza love Malik. But he did not

00:55:33 --> 00:55:33
			love Malik.

00:55:36 --> 00:55:36
			Love Malik.

00:55:39 --> 00:55:41
			And love Maddy.

00:55:45 --> 00:55:46
			He was one of them.

00:55:48 --> 00:55:51
			On one occasion he came and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was praying.

00:55:53 --> 00:55:54
			He took a cloth

00:55:56 --> 00:55:56
			and

00:55:57 --> 00:56:01
			strangled the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam with the cloth.

00:56:03 --> 00:56:04
			He did a lot

00:56:06 --> 00:56:09
			this morning, was truly

00:56:11 --> 00:56:14
			a bitter enemy. But it's the

00:56:17 --> 00:56:26
			it's the symbol of a last panel with Allah that the bitterest enemies of the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, their wives, their sons and their daughters.

00:56:27 --> 00:56:33
			They embraced Islam and followed the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam this morning.

00:56:36 --> 00:56:37
			Despite being who he was.

00:56:39 --> 00:56:45
			His young virgin unmarried daughter alone embraced Islam.

00:56:48 --> 00:56:49
			And a few years later,

00:56:50 --> 00:56:54
			after her father's death, he was killed in the Battle of whether or after the Battle of birth.

00:56:57 --> 00:57:04
			She did hedger young, according some generations will love her Adam her age was just 19.

00:57:06 --> 00:57:09
			She did hedger from Makkah to Medina,

00:57:11 --> 00:57:15
			after the Treaty of the Arabia, so she did his route in the seventh year.

00:57:17 --> 00:57:18
			And this young girl

00:57:21 --> 00:57:23
			she did Hendra all alone?

00:57:24 --> 00:57:42
			No, no, she met up with a traveler on the way who accompanied her to Medina. But she actually
secretly imagined her family was still against her. Her two brothers came out looking for her and
they pursued her all the way to Medina, but they couldn't catch her.

00:57:43 --> 00:57:49
			And it said that this young, unmarried, daughter of rockbottom Nagi Morita name was

00:57:51 --> 00:58:04
			consumo de la and her she did hijra alone, unmarried, no connection from the house of rock bottom.
That'd be more a. She did Hendra from Makkah to Medina Dina how walking on foot.

00:58:07 --> 00:58:08
			When she arrived in Medina,

00:58:10 --> 00:58:37
			her two brothers followed. They couldn't catch her on the way. When they arrived in Medina. They
came to the Prophet some of the love it was said to him or Mohammed, as per the Treaty of Arabia,
which was signed just recently. We have agreed that if anyone comes to you from you are to return
them to us. If someone comes to us from Medina, we aren't an obligation to return.

00:58:39 --> 00:58:46
			So Mohammed, we as the brothers of our sister, we demand that you return her to us.

00:58:47 --> 00:58:52
			She then pleaded her case with the prophets and the lighting was determined. She said your school of
law

00:58:58 --> 00:58:59
			I am alone.

00:59:01 --> 00:59:09
			I have no protection. I am weak. Will you allow them to take me home and turn me away from my
religion?

00:59:11 --> 00:59:17
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam hesitated last panel without a reveal versus of sort of the
mundane.

00:59:20 --> 00:59:21
			That will believers.

00:59:23 --> 00:59:27
			Yeah, you're Latina and Jackman. Minato * Ratan from

00:59:28 --> 00:59:30
			Allah Allah will be Imani

00:59:31 --> 00:59:36
			that will believe is when the believing women come to you as emigrants women.

00:59:38 --> 00:59:59
			Then test them. Allah is more knowing of their faith. The meaning of testing him is that the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. This is the level of sincerity in Islam that's required. Can you
imagine anyone completing this journey insincerely Yeah, even after this journey, and even to open
the doors of opportunity. The profit center

01:00:00 --> 01:00:05
			Allahu wa sallam by the instruction of the clan tested her and others. And he said to her,

01:00:06 --> 01:00:23
			have you come for any worldly reason? Have you come for marriage? Have you come fleeing from
anything or fleeing to anything? And the final question was, have you come only for the love of
Allah and His messengers?

01:00:24 --> 01:00:30
			Even they were tested to ensure that this intention was pure.

01:00:32 --> 01:01:15
			Then last prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam refused to return her to Makkah, and she was the one
who then set the paths and for any of the women who came that they were they were under no
obligation to be returned to Makkah province of the law, Marlene was and then married her to as
Aiden had ever heard the alarm on his one time adopted son. And she remained in his marriage till
the eighth year of his role when he was martyred in the Battle of Malta, in northern Arabia well in
the north, so she was married to zeta mahabis. That was, that's just one other example of a Sahabi a
woman consumo de la. Zina, the daughter of the province of Milan, it was in Santa model the law.

01:01:16 --> 01:01:34
			There are so many of the cases are suffice with this. However, I would like to end with one thing,
which is to mention that to the Sahaba of the law home their hedra, as I said, at the very
beginning, was to leave Mecca, once and for all, never to return except temporarily.

01:01:35 --> 01:01:51
			Even the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he actually preferred that his followers never
returned to Makkah, except for Umrah and Hajj, or except out of necessity, and if there was a
necessity they go, they remain for as long as they need to, but they come back immediately.

01:01:53 --> 01:02:11
			So much so that Abdullah nombre de la hora, he was just a child when he went to Medina with his
father. Well, whenever he would come back to Makkah, even one after the time of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They had a house in Makkah, he had a house in Mecca from before that
belong to this family. Do you know

01:02:13 --> 01:02:41
			after the hedger Abdullah Abdullah Romero, the Allahu anhu man never ever entered that house again.
And when he would come back to Makkah for Umrah or for hedge, and he would walk in Makkah, whenever
he passed by that house, he would actually close his eyes. He wouldn't look at it. I'm delighted, no
matter the Allahumma would not look at his own house, his own family home. Why? Because they wanted
their hedger to be complete.

01:02:43 --> 01:02:50
			Nobody, no return. That's what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam wanted. This is why, despite
Makkah being,

01:02:51 --> 01:03:18
			despite myka being what it was to the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam when he turned away on his
hedra, he turned back and he looked at Mecca, and he prayed that, Oh Allah, this is the most beloved
land of yours to me. And if it wasn't for the fact that these people drove me out, I would never
leave it. Despite what McGann meant to him, after the hijra, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
did not stay.

01:03:19 --> 01:03:20
			Here he did.

01:03:21 --> 01:03:45
			He did hedge, he came for the for the conquest, but each time he returned, Why? So that the hedge
would be complete, and there would be no shortage or reduction of reward whatsoever? That's what he
meant. And he meant so much to the so how about all the alarm that we've all heard of sandip NaVi
wakasa the alarm?

01:03:46 --> 01:03:55
			And I'll end with this Saturday, after the alarm was one of the earliest Muslims, one of the
earliest people to do hedger, one of the 10 prompts.

01:03:56 --> 01:04:38
			And he was a famous conqueror and general general and conqueror of Iraq, the leader of the Muslim
forces in the decisive and winning Battle of fire the senior. He was the one who conquered the
medallion, and the palaces of Casa rose in Persia. He was the conqueror of Iraq and Persia, one of
the greatest leaders of the time. That was sadly one of your costs of the alarm, but was one of the
first Muslims to embrace Islam. And he was actually one of the first Muslims to emigrate into Hydra
from Mecca to Medina. in Medina. Mazel Tov not made and I'm delighted to the first arrived that
would teach people to earn after them. The three that came were

01:04:40 --> 01:04:45
			a marami acid biratnagar unsaddled. Now the Office of the alarm,

01:04:46 --> 01:04:55
			Cerro de la horn, he relates himself and it's a very beautiful Hadith slayed by moi de la jolla de

01:04:57 --> 01:04:59
			in his way, many of you will be familiar with the word

01:05:00 --> 01:05:00
			Especially the

01:05:03 --> 01:05:05
			Saudis late BAM I'm

01:05:06 --> 01:05:07
			sorry

01:05:08 --> 01:05:09
			for your

01:05:10 --> 01:05:44
			benefit. I relate I relate to you with a continuous uninterrupted chain from me to them and mahadi
Rahim Allah will say Abdullah having the use of related to us from Imam Malik from Zhu Li from
Hassan, who relates from his father's side of Nabila cos for the law one sided interview or cost of
the Allahu says, I went to Makkah with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the farewell
pilgrimage, and I fell ill seriously ill, somewhat saw that I was close to death.

01:05:47 --> 01:05:53
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came to see me in Mecca. When I was severely ill,

01:05:54 --> 01:05:55
			he came to visit me.

01:05:57 --> 01:06:07
			And since I fear death, I said to the prophets a lot these aren't the words of the Hadith that I
feared death, but in another generation, I was close to death. He then said that I said to the
prophets of the love it was the

01:06:12 --> 01:06:16
			pain has afflicted me to such a degree.

01:06:18 --> 01:06:23
			And I have no family to succeed me except one daughter.

01:06:25 --> 01:06:28
			What's the unique point about this heavy who relates it from Saturday the alarm

01:06:30 --> 01:06:30
			is Sunday.

01:06:35 --> 01:06:37
			So army relates from his father.

01:06:38 --> 01:06:49
			And my father said that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came to visit me in Mecca. In the
farewell pilgrimage, and I said to him Yasuda Allah, pain has afflicted me this

01:06:52 --> 01:06:56
			and I have no family or children to succeed me except one daughter.

01:06:59 --> 01:07:02
			So prophet of Allah, I have wealth.

01:07:03 --> 01:07:09
			Shall I leave a will for two thirds of my wealth to be distributed?

01:07:10 --> 01:07:13
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no.

01:07:15 --> 01:07:24
			So his intention was that I give one third to my daughter, and two thirds I leave instructions for
two thirds of my wealth to be distributed.

01:07:25 --> 01:07:34
			So the Prophet Sall Allahu alayhi wa sallam said now, sadly, the alarm has said half Yasuda Allah,
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said now

01:07:36 --> 01:07:51
			she said one third. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said one third and even one third is
a lot. Then he said, Oh sad, that you should leave your successes. wealthy enough and self
sufficient.

01:07:52 --> 01:07:58
			This is far better for you than leaving them in such a state that they extend their hands and
begging.

01:08:01 --> 01:08:04
			And oh sad. Any good deeds that you perform.

01:08:06 --> 01:08:14
			You will always be rewarded for it any good deed of charity, so much so and these Serra de la hora
and is lying on his bed.

01:08:16 --> 01:08:21
			And he fears death. And he's asking the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam about what Seiya

01:08:22 --> 01:08:36
			about his final Will and Testament and the prophets of Allah heidy or cinemas telling him I was sad.
Any good deed that you do, you will be rewarded for it. So much so that even if you put a morsel of
food in your wife's mouth,

01:08:38 --> 01:08:46
			he's lying on his deathbed. And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, even a morsel of food
that you put in your wife's mouth.

01:08:47 --> 01:08:57
			Then sad that of the alarm said and this is the main point of the Hadith. Oh, hello forebearers
happy little messenger of Allah.

01:08:58 --> 01:09:13
			Will I be kept behind after my companions? Meaning that you will all return to Medina, or messenger
of Allah? Will I be left behind in Mecca? Why wouldn't anyone want to be left behind him?

01:09:14 --> 01:09:29
			But now for the Sahaba de la. They came for the handwritten without the farewell pilgrimage. But
their hijra was so paramount in their minds that saddled Nabil walk us through the alarm did not
want to die even in muckety muck.

01:09:31 --> 01:09:50
			Why? They wanted their hedgerows to be complete. They left Makkah That's the meaning of hijra. We
did a hijra, that means we abandoned we left everything, never to return again. And Sarah little the
alohar and what he feared was that he would die.

01:09:51 --> 01:09:59
			So he said Yara Sol Allah, Allah forebearers hobby, will I be kept behind after my companions
meaning you, you and the others will return

01:10:00 --> 01:10:01
			We live in Makkah.

01:10:03 --> 01:10:06
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him, oh sorry,

01:10:09 --> 01:10:11
			if you are kept behind,

01:10:13 --> 01:10:15
			there is no good deed that you will do,

01:10:16 --> 01:10:31
			except that you will only rise in grade and in elevation. And look at the prophetic words of
Rasulullah sallallahu it was all sad, it is highly possible that you will be kept behind,

01:10:32 --> 01:10:34
			you will be kept behind

01:10:36 --> 01:10:46
			such that many people's not one of many people's will be benefited from you, and many people's will
be harmed by.

01:10:48 --> 01:11:26
			And these were the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They were a prophecy he's lying
on his deathbed. But what it meant, indeed, Sara, the alarm recovered. Not only did he recover from
the illness of 103, at the time of the hedgetrimmer that he returned to Medina. Not only that, but
after this incident, he lives for more than 40 years. And in those 40 years, he had children other
than the daughter, including the same owner of the Rahim Allah who narrates it from him. And not
only that, but as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, It is highly possible for him to
have enough

01:11:27 --> 01:11:48
			light it is highly possible that you are kept behind, and many peoples are benefited by you and many
peoples are harmed by sad that of your loved one was lying on his deathbed when the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told him this, he rose recovered, returned to Medina, and thereafter he
was the one who was the

01:11:49 --> 01:12:12
			Chief General and the conqueror of the CEO of Persia, of Iraq, and one of the generals responsible
for vanquishing the sassanid Persian Empire at the time. Anyway, that's actually the most important
part of the Hadees that was relevant to as well as sadder the alarm did not want to die, even in
muckety muck.

01:12:13 --> 01:12:28
			And the end of the Hadeeth is that the Prophet sallallahu wasallam These aren't his words, but the
Prophet sallallahu wasallam at the end of the Hadith, it's mentioned that he was also he also said,
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made

01:12:29 --> 01:12:33
			a long only as happy hijikata who went after

01:12:34 --> 01:12:47
			him. This is a main part of the Hadith. He said Allah He made a dua to Allah, the messengers of
Allah. Allahu lilias. Have you hinted at the home? Allah completes the hedger have my companions

01:12:49 --> 01:12:54
			and do not let them return on their heels. ie make sure their hygiene is complete.

01:12:55 --> 01:13:04
			And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam expressed sorrow and sadness at sardegna Hola, hora
de la

01:13:05 --> 01:13:20
			Why did he Express and that William I will recall the words of the Hadeeth lurk in hilleberg hola
Sadiq Nicola hora de la hora. And why did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam express regret and
sorrow for him? He died.

01:13:21 --> 01:13:47
			someone died in Makkah, Tomoko Rama, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is expressing
regret and sorrow that he died in Makkah. Why? That's what sad that of the loved one. The both were
called sad. This was sad him who passed he didn't want to die. But another side of Nikola he did die
in Makkah, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was expressing regrets and sorrow because
Serra de la hora ended Hitler from Makkah to Medina

01:13:48 --> 01:14:03
			after the hedger, he remained with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in, in, in 100, in a
beer, and then, on one occasion he had to return to Makkah. When he returned to Makkah, he passed
away.

01:14:04 --> 01:14:26
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was expressing sorrow and regret that Sarah didn't hola
hora de la Han returned to Makkah honey died there, in a way his hedgerow was affected. It wasn't
affected with Allah, but as far as sad, as far as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the
others have battled the alarm are concerned, they would have wished that he died not in

01:14:28 --> 01:14:30
			this is how much the hedgerow

01:14:31 --> 01:14:59
			This is why, what there's so much to learn about the hedger before we can appreciate its true
meaning. This is why our Islamic calendar, which whose new year begins next week, was instituted,
not with the birth of Islam, with the revelation of the poor, or even the birth of the Prophet
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam or his passing away and departure from this world, or even with
the miraculous journey of Surat and Mirage, or even with bedrock

01:15:00 --> 01:15:43
			All with 100 all with the social media, or with the conquest of Makkah, or even with the
hedgetrimmer there and the farewell pilgrimage now, of all the momentous events of the life of
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam, the Sahaba of the alumni who collectively chose to mark the
beginning of the Islamic calendar, with the hedger of Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and
the Sahaba de la. And this is why, primarily because of this, and this is the reason why a lot of
the lovern said at that time of instituting the calendar, he said, Because hedger was a criterion,
and the distinct and the distinction between help and bartering between truth and false.

01:15:45 --> 01:15:58
			And this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the famous hadith of Nia when he speaks
about the sincerity of intention, the first idea or hardly the first of many books, he didn't just
say be sincere.

01:15:59 --> 01:16:17
			His words are, whoever does a hedgerow to Allah hon is Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then
his hijra is to Allah and Allah Almighty Who seldom, and whoever does hijra to the dunya that he
wishes to acquire, or a woman that he seeks to marry, and his hedger is to that to which he has done
he.

01:16:18 --> 01:16:30
			Why mentioned hijra in the context of sincerity of intention, because it's a lesson for us. That's
such a great deed that belonged only to an elite of

01:16:31 --> 01:16:33
			small number of Sahaba de la,

01:16:34 --> 01:16:56
			a distinction and an honor that can never be given or achieved or acquired by anyone else. Even for
that elite group, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his message was, be mindful of your motive
and your intention, ensure that it is sincere, ensure that it is pure, even in an undertaking as the
hitch.

01:16:58 --> 01:17:04
			If that intention was so precarious, even in hijra, then what can be said of you me?

01:17:06 --> 01:17:36
			This is the significance of the hedgerow home This was just these were just a few examples of the
hijra of the noble companions of the alarm. I pray that Allah scramble with Allah with the beginning
of this new Islamic here next week. Allah enables us to appreciate the sacrifice of the noble so how
about the alarm or the sacrifice of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mingulay
enablers to follow in their noble footsteps or some of the law or send them an act that he would
have sold in the beginning.

01:17:37 --> 01:17:39
			He was saying he had rain, Chronicle logging

01:17:41 --> 01:17:42
			in and stuff

01:17:43 --> 01:17:44
			late
