So now money comm Welcome back to Allah loves. So this is a very special story that I learned very early on while studying the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, because a lot of times when you're hearing heartbeats about rushing to do good, and this idea of the companions being highly motivated, which they were, sometimes that could lead a person to not be very deliberate about their actions and the things that they do. So this is a Hadeeth, which takes place with a long incident in the backdrop where you had the tribes that were coming to see the profit slice on the delegations that were coming to the profits of the law, and he was selling, and people were rushing
to get off their camels get off their horses jump and run to the profits license so that they could kiss his hands so they could they could greet him. And there was one person that stayed back for some time. And you've got to think, well, who's the one that's getting the camels set? Who's the one that's keeping things in order? Who's the one that's actually staying behind making sure that no one dropped anything? Who's that guy, right? That guy was a judge of the case. A surge was an unsavoury. He was a young man, but he was very deliberate about the things that he did. He was very calculated. So he was the one that was making sure that everything was tied properly. And so he stayed behind.
He made sure that his tribe had all of their belongings with them, he tied the camels properly, he went and he changed and he made himself presentable. Then he came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and some of his tribe, they kind of mocked that deliberation, or they felt like he was being slow. But the Prophet sallallahu wasallam said to him, that in the feature, hustle attain, that you have in you two qualities you have boom Allah, that Allah loves about you. And he said, what are they a messenger of Allah? He said, a hill will enter your forbearing. And you are deliberate forbearance and deliberation. Now those words are tough words. So let me explain them.
forbearance is when you are particularly patient with people. So we talked about patience and holding yourself back, right? It's a lot easier to be patient with natural disaster with something bad happening that's outside of anyone's control, than it is when it's someone in front of you that is really messing with your patients. Right. So the prophets lie Selim. And the incident that we covered a few episodes ago, with a shuttle de la and her and the people that shouted out to him as someone from the Prophet slicin was showing forbearance, he's holding himself back restraining himself right. And so when you have him when you have forbearance, you are able to hold it in.
That's why I brought him a nice is described as Helene, one of the names of a lot is an Helene, one who is forbearing a lot as for bearing with us, a lot tolerates our, our our weaknesses, our sometimes wickedness and a lot does not punish us right away. But instead, Allah gives us a chance to repent. So hidden is that a person is forbearing. They're calculated, they're well restrained. And so their anger is only for specific contexts. And it's carried out in a way that is pleasing to Allah subhanaw taala. And that is a related quality of being calculated of being deliberate, of making sure that you do things properly. Now, and that is the opposite of haix. The prophets lie
Some said Elijah, to misshapen that haste is from the devil, and not which is to be deliberate as from Allah. And law is that a person takes their time to make sure that everything is done, right, that nothing is out of order. And so just as they have, they have a great sense of self control, they also have a great control of their environment as well. They're making sure that they're always doing things properly calculated, structured, not in a way that would hinder progress, but in a way that would sustain it, not in a way that would make them to slow, but in a way that would make sure that their speed and going ahead with good things are done in a way that would maintain a momentum,
a steady momentum towards a loss of handling time towards those good things. So Helen and Anna come from the same, the same Well, the same fountain, which is to be forbearing, to be calm, to be collected to be deliberate about what you do. And Allah subhanaw taala, who has that quality himself of being forbearing loves to see it in us and loves to see that we take our time to make sure that things are done right, and that we don't rush and that we're not hasty with the things that we do. And some people might criticize that as being slow, but it's not slow. Just like some people might criticize a person who doesn't react to insult or to, to foulness in like manner as being too slow
or being too reserved. All of those things are actually beloved to Allah subhanaw taala because they're done from a place of intentionality. And we as believers are taught to be intentional about the things
We do so we asked the last panel to put those beloved qualities in us as well and to allow them to manifest themselves in our personality and in our work and how we control our environment. Does that mean law heightened See you all next time in sha Allah wa salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
