Mustafa Khattab – The Sahaba 1 1

So

we don't need to talk much about the

great,

the, the, versions of this Sahaba of. Everybody

knows. But we'll just mention a couple of

and,

some statements about the virtues of the Sahaba.

So, Allah said that

Allah

looked into the hearts of all humans,

and he selected the heart of the prophet

because of his greatness and because of his

virtues.

Then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala looked into the

hearts of all other humans and he found

the Sahaba to be the finest and the

best, so Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala chose and

selected them to be the servants and the

consultants

and

says that Allah has forgiven

and showered his grace upon all the Sahaba.

And Allah is pleased with all of them,

and all of them are pleased with Allah

and Allah has prepared for them Jannat,

paradise in which they were made

or live forever.

So if Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is pleased

with them, how come that some Muslims

criticize some of the Sahaba?

The dust in the nose of Muawiya,

by virtue of his making Jihad with the

prophet and sitting with the prophet

writing their revelations for him is much better

in the side of Allah than Omar Ibn

Abdelaziz himself.

Just by seeing the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa

sallam, and being him on a daily basis,

this is a version by itself.

So some of the Sahaba made mistakes at

the time of the Prophet SAW Hassan, like

Hatub Radiullah Abu Anhu.

The Prophet SAW Hassan left right before prophet,

the conquest of Mecca, he told them, keep

it secret, don't tell anyone about our intention

to go to Mecca and open the city.

So, Hathi, the

prophet,

wrote a letter to the people of Mecca,

warning them that the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam,

is on his way to take over the

city.

The revelation came to the prophet, sallallahu alaihi

wasallam, and told them, Jibreel, alaihi salaam, that

how to promote a letter to the people

of Mecca, and we know the rest of

the story.

So Omar Ibn Khattab was furious. What what

is going on? He's a hypocrite. Let me,

you know, fix him up.

So the prophet, salaam, told him no. Maybe

Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, looked at the hearts

and told him, no. Maybe Allah Subhanahu Wa

Ta'ala looked at the hearts and looked at

the people who participated in Badr and told

them, do whatever you want, I have forgiven

you.

So a man came while the prophet, salaam,

was distributing money among people, so the man

was not basically happy with the way the

prophet, salaam, distributed

the money. He used to favor some new

Muslims

just to strengthen their hearts in in the

faith. Okay?

So this man was mad. He said, wallahi,

there is no justice in this distribution.

And the prophet, salam, didn't mean to please

Allah by doing what he is doing.

So So the prophet

said, may Allah have mercy

on my brother Musa.

He was

abused by his people more than me, but

he forgave them and he was merciful to

them.

So, oh, prophet of Allah, let me chop

off his head, man. He is look at

what he said. So the prophet said, leave

him alone

because he prays.

So the prophet

used to forgive them because of their other

good deeds that they did.

So some of the Sahaba said, by Allah,

the Sahaba's

standing with the Prophet and

serving him and helping him, you know, teach

his message

in the Sahaba Allah is much better than

anybody else who comes after them
