The number of people who die peacefully from COVID-19 and have small number of years in their lives is also discussed. Visitors are encouraged to email them a response to their questions. The history of the Bukhary and Pakistan movies is also discussed, including the 3 in Bukhary and the 3 in Pakistan. Last 10 nights of this month.
So the ayah I'm going to cover tonight
inshaAllah is related to this. Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala says in Surah Hadid, ayah number 21.
Race with one another
towards the forgiveness of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
an agenda as vast as the heavens and
the earth.
So Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala uses the word
which means compete with one another or race
with one another.
So we're basically now in a race.
So Imam Ibn Alayir Rahimahullah says in a
race, the horses that are racing in a
race,
they run, yes, a little bit, alhamdulillah, the
beginning of the race, but close to the
end of the race, the last 200 yards,
they run fast because this is what will
determine who's gonna be 1st and second and
third.
Some of us start big at the beginning
of the month, the first two nights. They
come to the masjid for all the salawat.
They stand in the masjid for tawiyyah. They
don't want to leave the masjid. We have
to call 911 to kick them out.
And these are the same people
who after 5, 7 days from the month
of Ramadan, we have to call 911 to
bring them back to the masjid because they
don't want to come.
So they do their best the first couple
of days. At the end of the month,
you don't see them in the masjid. So
they do the opposite.
So Imam Ibn Tayl Rahimah Allah says, don't
let the horses be smarter than you.
Yes. Mark start average at the beginning of
the month, pray the 5 namaz, toss in
the right way, stand in taawiyah,
but when the last 10 nights of Ramadan
come, do your best, so you will wait
at the end.
And the prophet
used to do the same thing. We know
that from the authentic Hadith that the prophet
he
used to, do a rebala in the first
twenty, but when the last 10 nights come,
he did his best.
Like reading Quran, bikrullah,
fasting, of course, and insulah, qiyam, tahajjud, and
so on and so forth. So we need
to do the same thing.
There are 2 things that we can,
check-in the last 10 nights of Ramadan to
see if we're doing the right thing or
not. If you're doing your best or not.
So the first one,
if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is going to
give you Jannah, if he's going to give
you Jannah,
why would he give you Jannah? What is
your best in the in the last and
last? We know from the authentic hadith, from
the prophet
there are 8 gates in Jannah. 8.
So, of course, those whose best deeds,
for example, are fasting,
they go through the door of
oh, yeah. Who's the runner
first? Okay.
So if your best Al Adala is fasting,
you'll go to Jannah through 1 of the
8 doors, and this door is called Rayyan.
If your best Al Adala is Salah, you'll
go through the door of Salah. If your
best Al Adada is Zakah, you'll go through
the door of Zakah, and so on and
so forth. There are 8 gates.
Also,
to think about this, if you can't close
your eyes now or wait on the way
home, think about it while you're driving, but,
don't speed up because you'll get a ticket.
Think about what is your best Ibadah? If
you die now or if you die tonight,
what is your best Ibadah that will take
you to Jannah? We don't remember Hadith al
Bukhari that a woman who used to keep
the masjid clean at the time of the
prophet shalallahu alaihi wa sallam, she went to
Jannah because of this, cleaning the masjid.
So why is your mister Aybar? Think about
it.
Maybe playing video games? No. It doesn't. No.
Shopping?
No.
Making biryani?
No. No. You're best at that, and then
watching. Okay. Another way to think about it.
We know the hadith in Bukhary and Muslim,
the 3 people who were traveling together,
and it was, very hot around lower time,
so they went inside the cave for shelter,
and the rock came down and it blocked
the, you know, the entrance to the cave.
So what did they do? They said, yeah,
Allah
will pray to you, each of us will
use their best Ibadah. So the first one
said, You Allah, I'm very respectful of my
parents.
I took dinner one night to my parents.
They slept.
I I I held the food in my
hands like this at the door, and I
stood the whole night until fashr to give
them food. And you Allah, this is my
best Ibadah.
This is the best thing I have done,
and Allah
removed their heart a little bit. It's authentic
in Bukhara and Muslim. The second one said,
you Allah, I loved
my,
you know, this lady. She was related to
me, and I was I was that close
to committing zina with her.
Then Allah said, I remembered you, and I
didn't do it. I said, I'm not gonna
do it. I'm not gonna commit zina. You
Allah, if I did it purely for your
sake, remove this hardship from us. And the
rock was removed a little bit. Another good
thing that he did.
The third one said, you Allah, someone did
a job for me,
and I wanted to give him money. He
didn't take it, so I took the money.
I invested,
the money. I enhanced the money. When he
came back after so many years, I gave
him hundreds of goats and sheep. I gave
him land and so on and so forth.
You Allah, if I did it for your
sake, remove this hardship from us, and the
rock was totally removed, and they were safe,
and they left.
So if you fall into a difficulty,
like your son goes to the hospital, or
you fall sick, or you lose your money,
or get laid off, what is the ibadah
that you will you will use as a
waseelah, shafa'ah, to pray to Allah to remove
this hardship from you? Is it your salah?
Is it your taweeh?
Is it your fasting? Is it your sadaqa?
Is it your contributions to the masajid? What
is it? So think about
it. This story of the 3 in Bukhary
and Muslim always reminds me of this story.
The the real story says 2 Indians and
1 Pakistan,
but every time I tell that story I
get inshallah, so I'm gonna change it a
little bit. 2 Egyptians and 1 Russian.
Fair enough.
So 2 Egyptians and 1 Russian, they were
traveling together in the desert, like, same thing.
They ran out of food. They ran out
of biryani sorry.
There's no biryani in the story because the
Indians and Pakistanis are out of the story.
Kushari. Kushari. Yes. Yeah. Kushari. They ran out
of Kushari. And,
yeah. So
at Walnut Food, they ran out the Haram.
They were starving. They're about to die. So
they said, we are going to pray now.
The 2 Egyptians were Muslims. They said, we're
gonna pray to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala before
we die. And the Russians said, I'm gonna
pray to my book. Book in Russia means
God.
And, before we die, we're gonna take our
grave. Once we're about to die, we'll jump
in the grave. Okay.
So they started to dig together their graves
and while they were digging they came across
the magic lamp. True story.
So what happened they found the magic lamp,
they erupted, the genie came out Egyptian too.
So
the genie said okay, you habibi, each one
of you will have one wish. So I
have 3 wishes for all of you. Usually
you have 1 master but you are 3,
2 Egyptian, 1 Russian.
Khalas, you have 3 wishes, each of you
will take a wish.
So the first Egyptian, they didn't ask the
the Russian.
They didn't ask him to go first, and
he was mad. So the 2 Egyptians went
ahead.
So the first one said, You Allah,
you know, I was living with my parents.
They were old. I was busy. I was
not good to them. I didn't serve them.
I want to go back to my parents
to serve them for the rest of my
life. And whoop, he was in Cairo with
his parents and he was serving them.
The second one said, You Allah, I had
a lot of money. I had a good
business, but I never made Hajj. I was
too busy to make Hajj. You Allah I
want to go for Hajj and Ub. He
was walarabad. Doon Hajj Labayk Allahumal Abayk.
And the Russia was mad.
He said, What's wrong with these people? They
have no respect for me. I'm from Russia.
Right? You know, Russian Putin?
I'm from Russia. They have no respect for
me. Kremlin, you know? Okay. Here is my
wish, you will hear me. I went I
want these 2 Egyptians to come back right
now.
And woof. The 2 Egyptians came back, and
all of them died peacefully.
Ever after.
So this is one way to know if
you're doing the right thing at the end
of Ramadan or not.
The second one, and this is the last
for today,
just pretend
that you get a special guest
who would visit you in your house to
see if you are doing the right thing
or not. If your house is in the
right order or not.
And this guest is Rasoolullah Al Asas. So
he knocks on your door, Yeah Ibrahim, open.
I'm I'm visiting you.
So some of us will say You Rasool
Allah, just give me a couple of minutes
my house is messed up I just cleaned
the mess I will let you in Some
will say You Rasool Allah, I'm back in
a week
My house is miserable like you know
someone will say, You Rasool Allah, come back
in 3 years because
horrible, horrible, horrible house. Someone will say, You
Rasool Allah,
I can't receive you in my house. I
I will never let you in.
This Ramadan or not. So we ask Allah
to accept our ibadah and give us the
best in this life and the best in
the life to come. The question question for
last night was at Saba Al Mathani. At
the end of Surahish
Hajj. The chosen opinion is a Saba al
Mathali, the often repeated 7 ayaat in the
Quran
are, Surah Fatiha. Because it's made up of
7 ayaat, and Surah Fatiha is recited
17 times every day in our salawat. 2
at Fatiha, 4 at Dazs, 3 at Narib,
Char, 4 at Rishat. So it's 17 in
total. So it's Surah Fatiha, and we got
2 winners. They are brothers, brother Nur and
Amrul Khamawi.
Noor and Amrul Khamawi?
You guys
So the last question is
is
is terribly difficult.
You actually need a genie to help you
with this one.
The Quran mentions some numbers like the promise
of Yusuf were 11.
Nuh alayhis salam gave Dua for 950
years. So there are a lot of numbers
in the Quran. What is the smallest number
in the Quran and the biggest number in
the Quran? The smallest number in the Quran
and the biggest number of the Quran. So
if you know the answer, email me if
you can, InshaAllah. Good luck.
By tomorrow, Asin InshaAllah. Atiba Mustafa at the
Naturi Center, Daseeh.
