So, last night we started the first qara'awiyah
and after the, salah, the first qara'awiyah we
had. So this brother came up to me
and he said, how many days are left
for the Eid?
What are you talking about? I was just
talking about sub patients in the in the
day.
So the prophet sallallahu
alaihi
wa sallam said in the Usid al Hadith
that the best gift you can have in
this life is patience.
The best gift you can have in this
life is patience.
Most of the time we have problems because
there's no patience in in the house
Divorces happen because of
anger. No patience.
Crimes happen because of impatience.
And this is the reason the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam is telling us patience is
the best gift you can have in life.
Most of the time, we have problems
while we're fasting because,
those who eat every day,
for example, they have, like, they eat 3
to 4 times in the breakfast,
4 or 5 times in the lunch,
6, 7 times in the dinner. So something
is missing in their life. If they don't
eat for 20 hours something bad is, you
know, is going on.
And they say
a hungry man is an angry man. If
you don't eat, big problem.
Also, those who smoke,
if they don't smoke for 20 hours in
the day of Ramadan, they go mad. Furious.
Have you heard of the movie Fast and
Furious?
Have you heard of this movie?
When you are when you fast,
you become furious. Fast and furious. This is
the reason.
And problems happen because of this.
So if you have an anger problem,
then there are you have several options. Number
1, you take anger management courses
or you take some shots
okay
or you can listen to the advice of
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam says in the
authentic hadith and bukhari and Muslim
when someone of you is passing in Ramadan
let them not act violently or indecently and
if someone reviles them or tries to,
to people them or fight with them, let
them say
I'm fasting twice
and we usually say this before we snap
on someone I'm fasting I'm fasting before you
punch them in the face
so we actually apply the Hadith
in the wrong way
I'm gonna conclude with this story
about impatience and anger in Ramadan.
This man is talking to his wife, so
she showed him the bills, the water bill
and the power bill, so he got so
mad, steam was coming out of his head.
So he said something to his wife or
he did something that she didn't like. She
was offended.
The whole day, she was asking for an
apology and and and he refused because of
the arrogance and the evil.
Late at night after Taraweeh,
he felt sorry for his wife. He wrote
a note and he left it next to
his wife that said, I'm sorry. He didn't
say it, and he wrote it. The next
day, he had to wake up at 5
to catch the the plane to go to
Toronto, so he begged his wife. Please, honey,
wake me up at 5 or if I
don't wake up at 5, I'll lose my
flight and they will fire me. She said,
okay, honey, no problem, you know.
Sure enough, he didn't wake up at 5,
he woke up at 11.
Close to both. Okay? He looks for he
looks for his wife everywhere in the house,
in the kitchen, in the basement, nowhere to
be found. She ran away with the kids.
But he noticed a piece of paper next
to his head that says, hey, honey, wake
up, it's 5.
He should have said sorry. Okay?
And the winner for today is brother Ahmad
al Hussain. So the answer for last night
is chapter 81 verse 18. Where is Ahmad
al Hussain?
Here.
No. 6000? 6000.
6000?
6000. 6000? 6000. 6000. 6000. 6000. 6000.
Yes. Alhamdulillah.
Can somebody give it to him?
Yes.
Al Quran peace. Al Quran peace. Alhamdulillah.
6,200
So all the Qur'an is revealed in Makkah
Madina. One single verse is revealed to the
Prophet
inside the Qur'an. You know the answer, email
me before tomorrowas@[email protected].
