Al Aasi means the disobedient
one. So the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,
changed their names to Abdullah.
So now we have Abdullah, Umar, Abdullah, and
Abu Abbas, and so on and so forth.
So the son of Umar al Khattab, his
name was Al Asid, the disobedient.
And one of his daughters, well, her name
was Al Asiya, the disobedient girl and disobedient
boy. So the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
changed the name for Abdulla, the servant of
Allah. They're obedient to Allah.
Then the girl's name became
Jameel,
the beautiful one. So the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam loved beautiful names.
And we know that the son of the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, his name was
Ihabul Ismani Allah, Abu Lalli, or Abu Rahman.
It's an Uzzin al Khadif v Sahib Muslim.
The most beloved names to Allah is Abullah
and Abu Rahman.
This is an Uzzin al Khadif. It's in
Sahib Muslim.
There's nothing wrong in the sunnah or if

make it easy for for everyone, make everyone
happy.
They lied to give their children names from
the Quran.
And masha'Allah, this is something we're beloved. Okay?
If you're calling Dora San Sabeel or your
son Yusuf from the Quran nice,
but sometimes
they give
names from the Quran with bad meanings. So
So you have to see the meaning before
you give the name to someone.
So some people give names from the Quran
to their children. Sometimes their names are good
but sometimes the meaning is not appropriate Islamic.
Like one time,
this friend of mine from India, he said
that,
one of his friends, his name was Aspen
Asafani, the lowest of the lowest.
So his father just
flipped the Quran. He saw the words. He
liked them.
He gave the name, but he didn't know
the meaning.
And in South Carolina, one of my friends
in the community is
an engineer from India. He gave his daughter
the name of Iram.
Iram, Iram, and that's an Imani Surat al,
Surat al Fesh. It's not a good name.
It talks about
the people of A'raf, Firaun and Samud, so
it is not a good name. When I
spoke to him, he said he will change
the name to a better name like Safiyyah
and so on and so forth.
So they just gave these terrible names because
these are the superstitions we have back home.
If you give your son a terrible name,
he or she your daughter also, he or
she will survive.
Like, this this couple, they have been married
for 10, 15 years. All their kids die
at a very young age. So the superstition
is if you give them a terrible name,
they will survive.
And I've seen so many people with, with
terrible names.
It says by Allah,
with whom there is no other god. There
is nothing in this world that is more
deserving of being imprisoned
more than your tongue.
Put your tongue in prison, which means be
quiet. Unless you have something good to say,
shut up.
Be quiet.

interest you can make in this life is

thing you can do in this life.

of provision you take is the money of
the orphan.
If you abuse the money of the orphan
or if you take advantage of them, use
their money for yourself, this is the worst
thing you can do in this life.
Those who forgive
other people and have mercy on them, Allah
will forgive him or her and have mercy
on them.
And those who forgive
other people, Allah
will forgive them.
