Musleh Khan – Prophetic Dua #01 The Best of This World & The Hereafter

And what this series is all about is we're going to take a journey through every single door that we
can get our hands on, that the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam used to make. And we're going to try
		

			to understand how he used to perform or say those doors. What were the circumstances when he would
say those doors? And what was the expectations? Because as you all know that there are a lot of
doors that are very generic. So your expectations and what you hope to get out of those specific
doors are different for everyone, just simply because they're generic in their nature. But then
there are very specific doors set at very specific times that have very specific wordings. So we're
going to try to understand what was the Prophet Alayhi salat wa sallam doing when he said that door
open? And how did he teach the rest of his companions to perform the same door. Now, the setup for
		

			this is going to be a little different. So let me explain to you exactly what will happen. It starts
off with the title of every single episode. If you notice that the title, I believe I wrote for this
one, the best of this world and the hereafter. So that title reflects what the doora is about. So if
I find a title of the door, then that's what I'm going to post as the title of this episode. But if
there's no specific title, then what we're going to do is, I'm going to extract generally what that
door is referring to and call the episode that so that way, when you see the title, then you will
know one of two things, it's either the name of the actual dorm, or that is what the door is about.
		

			So just at least you understand where these names and the titles are coming from. I'm going to begin
in sha Allah who Tyler every episode by reading to you the door in Arabic, then we will translate it
and then we will get into the discussion and inshallah each of these episodes will be no more than
maybe 10 to 15 minutes in sha Allah who tada if the doors are a little bit longer than the episode
might be just a few minutes longer, but I really don't want to lengthen each episode too lengthy,
too long, for obvious reasons. So let's get right into it a lot. You might see me from time to time,
I'd kind of just be looking and staring in this direction. It's just because I have my computer open

precisely in sha Allah. So here is door number one from the prophetic doors of our Prophet alayhi
salatu was Salam.

to bed, when we look at videos, we always hear the lecturer using this door. It is one of the most
popular and common doors that all Muslims make all across the globe. And it's also one of the first
doras that you hear and you learn. Now, this hadith the Prophet alayhi salatu was Salam It was said
		

			that this is one of the doors that he used to recite
		

			The most in his lifetime. So that tells you just how important this do. I was to him sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, he used to ask Allah for the best in this world. Now hessonite in this Hadith, the
scholars differ what it's referring to, because it's also found in the Quran in Surah Al Baqarah.
And it's mentioned twice in that sutra. And both times when it's mentioned, it's always mentioned
around a conversation to do with this world and a reflection of what this world is an illicit

course with those things and the certain parameters and rules and restrictions behind them. That's
all it would, it would remain within that compass of that which is loving and pleasing and
acceptable to Allah subhanho wa Taala all of that is has, believe it or not a man with the hubby or

So when you ask Allah Oh Allah bless me with a hessonite in this world, you're asking Allah Allah
		

			bless me with a righteous spouse in this world, and in the effort of Subhana Allah. So you can just
see and appreciate just how much scholars had differed on this particular door. But here's the
lesson and we'll move on to the next one in sha Allah. So I'll share with you two doors today. This
door you recite it as much as you can, why? Because no sort of the alohar and this is the Haldeman

			board a flight. Or this happened one time only subpanel. I was coming back from Malaysia, to my
grandfather's funeral. And I was afraid I was going to miss his funeral. So when I arrived at my
transit location, which was in BC, my next flight to Toronto was like three or four hours later. And
they knew that if I had to wait for that flight, I would miss the funeral completely. And it just so
happened I go to the counter and have this door in my mind. And I'm just saying it and Bismillah
asked him like is there an earlier flight? lady says no,
		

			there is one but it's full, I can put you on a waiting list. So I said fine. Just put me on a
waiting list. And I'll hope for the best. In the meantime, I'm anxious. I've been flying for like 20
hours and I'm just like,
		

			an inadequate to mental volley me. And I just sit and I just try to keep myself relaxed and keep
reading this door. And I read some other doors, you know, ends up what ends up happening. About 10
minutes later, I hear my name being called in the PA I go to the counter, I get listened to this
guys. I get on the flight, which was leaving in about 10 or 15 minutes, right. So I had 10 or 15
minutes to board the flight that was supposedly full. And I get a first class ticket in my hand.
That was the only seat available. And the lady said you know I've been given authorization to just
give this ticket out to your next on the list. So here you go. You got a first class ticket to
		

			Toronto, enjoy Have a safe flight. And I literally just fell asleep the entire flight. So panel law,
