Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu brothers and sisters, this is part two on s Muslim be a Ramadan superstar. So let's talk about reintroducing yourself back to the masjid. Now just think about it for at least 11 or maybe 12 months for a lot of us we really haven't had that much of a connection to the masjid, you probably were just going there for Juma, you probably were just going there for some kind of event or a conference. And that's pretty much it just very rarely or very seldomly, you found yourself there for the prayers. So Ramadan is here, it's an opportunity for us to expand on what you're already doing in the masjid. If you feel that throughout the year, you've
still been coming to the masjid to pray. Now what this is teaching you and is that the message is more than just about prayer. So you come here you socialize, that's why almost all the if thoughts are happening in the masjid, it's a time to meet the community, it's time to just recharge that battery that's in your email when the message is like the place where you go to recharge yourself once again. So my advice to myself and to all of you out there is try to go to the masjid every single day, even if you're not going there for prayer, even if you're not going there for a total week. But there's an IF thought the thought is even a blessing by itself, which we're going to talk
about later on. But at least for now go back, go back and sit in the house of Allah go back and feel that peace and tranquility that we all get when we're in the midst you go back and sit in the Muslim the area, sit with the court and sit with a brother or sister talk about something to do with the religion, something positive something fulfilling something, you know, that would educate you and that would also increase your knowledge. Just take advantage of that second home that we have that home away from home. And that is of course the Messenger of Allah azza wa jal so Ramadan is teaching us to do this every single day, the Torah is there and so on. The second point that I just briefly
want to touch on when it comes to reintroducing ourselves back to the masjid. Those of you who have literally been disconnected from it throughout the whole year. Use this opportunity now, to have some alone time in the masjid. You don't have to go there for anything else. No, do I and nothing like that just your alone time. Literally What I'm talking about is just going into the masjid and literally just sitting there and doing absolutely nothing whether it needs to take a nap. You know, we all know the hadith of Allah, Allah, Allah when he used to do this a lot just go into Masjid there and just sleep. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself used to go there and take a
nap. So the masjid is more than just a place of worship. It's a place where you go there for peace. It's a place there for you to think about your problems, reflect on your day, reflect on your life. Put your thoughts together what you want to accomplish. That's what Ramadan does. For all of us. It's a time for us to reflect and a time for us to think back and what you've done in this whole year. What you've done in your entire life. How was last year's Ramadan compared to this one? So really take advantage of that especially when you're in the masjid May Allah subhanho wa Taala bless you all. I can't wait to get to the rescue tonight after all of this and I hope you guys feel the
same to set them while they come to LA he will want to catch up
