Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu everyone. Part Two, while Ramadan can change you is because you were unprepared. You didn't study. Ramadan you didn't study. It's phip its history, its purpose. You didn't study why this month is so crucial for every single one of us as believers. Why did Allah subhanho wa Taala prescribe it not only to the oma of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but all the nations that came before us did the same thing. They fasted, why you didn't understand you didn't study, you didn't ask the right questions. So for example, people still ask today, if I'm pregnant, do I still fast? If I'm nursing My child, do I still fast? If I'm taking
medication, what sort of medications allow you to fast? And what sort of medications exempts you from fasting? What if you want to do a blood test? What if you need to go see the doctor go see the dentist, all of this phip even for something very simple, you're at home and you're cooking and you want to taste your food? How do you do that? We understand that tasting the food is permissible whilst fasting. But how do you do that? All of these things are crucial in you understanding of how to get the most out of this month. That's what fifth is for. Fifth is for you to understand the rulings and laws from the Quran and Sunnah that pertain to that particular act of worship. And you
didn't take the time to do that. So what happens? imagine somebody who is given a job, but they got no training for that job, and you threw them out into the work field and said, Here, figure it out, and inshallah you'll be okay. That's pretty much what any of you who didn't prepare properly for the month of Ramadan, you've just been thrown into this blessed month, and you wouldn't know how to utilize each and every moment of that month? I still have people they asked all the time, that when they perform RT calf, what are the rules and the regulations of RT calf weather, the do's and don'ts even one guy? Can you imagine he calls me from his cell phone and he asks me Schiff, I just want to
know, is it permissible for me to use my cell phone whilst I'm in Arctic f? And I'm thinking to myself, are you kidding me? Here you are calling me from your cell phone to ask me this question. So these things, these things, make a servant very careless with an act of worship. So as a result, you don't understand the value of Ramadan, you won't feel it, you want to receive it, and the bottom of this month, it will leave you and leave you very quickly. And so brothers and sisters, the second point is being unprepared not only for the month of Ramadan, but for any act of worship. It is a responsibility on every single one of us, especially with our religion, that we be prepared. We at
least understand the basics of that act of worship, you pray five times a day, every single Muslim must understand basic fifth of Salah, here you are, you're fasting every single day, 1718 hours, that much effort, and you have no idea why or you have no idea of the do's and don'ts of the fast. All of these things should really make your heart ache and feel pain, that this is something irresponsible of that servant to go into an act of worship and not be prepared. So May Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive us of our shortcomings. But how do you fix all of this? So if you're watching this video and Ramadan has already passed, how do you fix it? Stay tuned and I'll explain.
