Musleh Khan – Ask Musleh – Why Ramadan Can’t Change You – How to Fix Your Problems

			Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh everyone, you've just heard four episodes of why Ramadan
can change you. And you've heard at least some of the most common dilemmas and problems that people
go through with respect to Ramadan, and when barriers that prevent an individual from achieving the
most out of this month. And so this last and final episode I'd like to devote to all of you, and how
to fix those problems for out of debt family, though we understand these issues. It's important for
us to understand how to fix these problems. So we've talked about sincerity. We've talked about
productivity we've talked about and we've talked about being prepared in the month of Ramadan. And
		

			then we've also talked about the willingness to change or to want to change. Now all of these things
have become bankrupt to some degree. So how do you fix them and whatever other problems or
limitations you might have experienced in the month of Ramadan, one of my favorite verses in the
Quran is your solution. Allah subhanho wa Taala says and suited for con in turbo M and o r, I'm

three, it's zinna. All of these three things are the three major crimes of Islam. After all of this,
Allah azza wa jal says, Look, if you fell into any one of these committed murder, or Zina or
Shahrukh, then as a result, here's how you fix it. And imagine these major crimes you can still fix

to Allah, what am and and they renew their intention, while I'm either Ramadan solidly here, and
they follow that intention with righteous deeds for all the EQ but dilla as a result, these people a

for them all of their evil deeds with righteous deeds. Now I want you to really understand how
beautiful this is. Remember the audience in this verse is Muslims, there are people like you and I

tab is not just repentance, it literally means to move something or run away from something that's
about to harm, you turn a different direction and go. So your first responsibility in fixing any
problems in your life is to try to eliminate that problem. or eliminate yourself from that problem.
		

			You try to distance yourself from that issue or that thing that will affect your event as much as
possible. So here you are, you're sitting in front at home, you have a computer, and you always keep
clicking, clicking that mouse and looking at the wrong things. This is an indication that your Toba
is going to begin with removing that computer out of your room and take a break, put it in the
garage, put it underneath your bed, give it to your parents, give it to somebody else, and just say,
look, keep this for a month, I need a break from this thing. That's Toba. As a result, the next
stage will eventually take place and that is to renew your intention. Because here you are you
		

			physically fix this problem. Now you want to spiritually fix your heart and you fix your heart by
renewing your intention. This is really important because remember, I said to you that the audience
is Muslims, where we go we're going to renew our intentions when we're already Muslim. So what is
Allah subhanho wa Taala really saying here? What do you tell a new Muslim who has who has reverted
to the religion, you tell them that one of the greatest rewards is that all of their sins will be
forgiven. So here you are making Toba analysis to renew your intention you Muslim that you'll never
go back to that sin again. You'll never commit those crimes again. As a result, you will get the
		

			reward just as the new Muslim gets that reward, all of your sins are forgiven. Imagine how
incredible that is soprano law. Third thing, if you're going to talk the talk, then you better walk
the walk and you need to do our mln saw their righteous deeds. You need to follow up now this
intention and live the life. This is why brothers and sisters if you wake up one day and you renew
your intention and
		

			You say to yourself, I'm never going to go back to that city. Again. I'm going to wear my hijab. Now
I'm going to start praying five times a day, then you know what you need to do. You need to actually
put that hijab on your head. You need to actually get to the masjid and start praying. You need to
actually fix those problems, live the life, don't just talk the talk, but walk the walk. So this is
the third element or the Third Avenue towards forgiveness. And it doesn't end there. subpanel for
you and I, it's probably enough. Here we are. We made Toba, we renewed our intention. And we changed
our lives. For Allah. That's not enough. Allah azza wa jal. He's so merciful, he's going to give you
		

			more. And he says, Look, if you do it like this last thing I'm going to give you is, I'm going to
take all of your sins and evil deeds and I'm going to exchange them for righteous deeds so proud
Allah. This is like the sister who never wore hijab for 20 years of her life. And one day she
decided that I'm going to wear it and nothing is going to change my mind. I'm going to do this for
Allah, and she actually puts it on her head. she changes her attire, and she has a full and complete
view jab. Allah is going to take the 20 years she didn't wear hijab and exchange it as though she
wore the hijab all 20 years of her life Subhanallah you have nothing to lose. You have nothing to
		

			lose when you change your life for Allah and you repent to him, but it has to be done properly.
Allah azza wa jal concludes this ayah what can Allah her photo rahima Did you notice that Allah azza
wa jal didn't say well, la foto Rahim Allah spoke in past tense. What can kana is a term describing
I was past tense allies that were jealous saying, What can Allah Allah was always Forgiving and
Merciful? Why is that so important as opposed to being in present tense? Because you were the one
that lost hope and Allah when he was always there willing to forgive you? You were the one that lost
sight of that forgiveness, lost sight of that mercy. It wasn't Allah subhanho wa Taala. It was you,
		

			it was me. It was our fault. When we fell into a sin and we dug ourselves deeper and deeper into
that sin. It was our own fault because Allah was always can a level of fudo Rahim he was always
there to forgive you and I. So we just have to come back to Allah who is already there. We just have
to turn back to Allah who is already forgiving. And we just have to accept Allah azza wa jal back in
our lives who has already been merciful to us to begin with. So with that, this one, you can solve
all of the problems that we've discussed in our previous episodes of why Ramadan can change you. And
as a result, you will become a change person, you will become the person that Allah subhanho wa
		

			Taala is pleased with and if you're already that person, you will become even a better servant and a
better slave to allies. So a gel which is what we all strive for. May Allah azzawajal Bless you all
and accept our efforts, especially in the month of Ramadan alone. I mean, my brothers and sisters, I
