My brothers and sisters always in forever We praise Allah subhanho wa Taala. We thank him for his blessings for his protection, for his forgiveness and for his mercy. And we further ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to continue to shower us with those blessings always and forever, especially in these times Allahumma amin And furthermore, my brothers and sisters on this blessed day of this blessing our of Yeoman Juma We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to accept from us our plea and our doors, our supplications our car, our worship, we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to relieve all of us from this difficult time and allow us to be in his home allow us to be in the masjid where we can
continue to pray and worship and please him allow him I mean, before I begin today's short reminder, I just want to let everyone know who's listening that this is just our way with respect to the circumstances that we are faced with. And the restrictions that we have that don't think of this as an actual jumar on hold about or lecture. But this is kind of our way as club tips to at least we don't lose that the flavor of what it is to be in jumar. To get that reminder, especially at this very time, almost all of us we are in some messages somewhere around the world. It's around one o'clock. So you're usually either getting ready to be in the masjid or you're already sitting there
and the whole debate is happening. So just so you don't feel that complete disconnect. This is kind of our way to help you reconnect and continue to taste and enjoy the sweetness of what tomorrow is. The second thing is that a lot of you ask about whether you can follow an Imam, or a hotbed happening anywhere in the world. But when you're in your home, as a family, you can follow it off the TV or on the internet, and pray the salah and follow the Mmm. And the majority of the time and when I say majority, literally almost every one of them do not allow this. And the reason why even just common sense will teach you that Joomla literally means to gather. And so you want to gather
the community in a neutral place or neutral setting. And everybody can gather there together and get the reminder and pray together. So that's last, if we're being if we're in isolation right now, we can't do that. So it doesn't necessarily now mean that you should have many jars in your homes all over the place. So it's not necessary. And secondly, always remember that our Prophet alayhi salaatu wa Salaam taught us that Allah will never hold us accountable for the things that we can't control. So it's we can control the outbreak of this virus. And so with the circumstances that were faced here, by default, all the scholars agree that we will get the reward of Joomla insha. Allah aina
McCann, whatever it is that you do, if you decide that you're just going to stay at home and not do anything. So you're not watching this talk. You're not watching anyone else's holebas you're not watching anything or any other lectures, you're just at home, and you're supposed to be in the masjid but you can't be there in sha Allah tala, you'll get the full reward of Juma. So it's a blessing from Allah azza wa jal, but at the same time, I know it's hard, the human in us that disconnect that we get from Allah's house, I know it's hard. And for people like us, who are usually the ones that are there, leading the community, talking to them, sharing knowledge and advice to
them, it's 10 times harder for us as well, because that's our life. Our purpose, as far as for me, that's how I even like take care of my family, I don't have like a business I go to, I don't have another job. My job is to serve all of you. And so that disconnect, I tell you, it literally is just it's driving me crazy just to know that I can't walk into a Masjid the way I used to. But at the same token and here's the third point, we always have to be grateful. We always have to say Alhamdulillah we always have to be grateful to Allah subhanho wa Taala that he is Aziz or Hakeem he knows what's best. He's the most wise woman check out a fading Nima, your scottoline FC, and whoever
shows gratitude, remember that gratitude is going to uplift you
Let us and get anything out of our gratitude. So that's for you. So at the end of the day, when you train your heart, you train your life, to be grateful to Allah subhanho wa Taala of what you do have, and the opportunities you do have, and the ability and the opportunity to be safe away from this virus, there are hundreds and 1000s of people around the world that just can't get away from the virus, it's going to get to them. And for a lot of them, it's going to kill them. And then there are others who can get into a hospital, they can't afford it, or the facilities are not there, the hospital is just simply not good enough to handle that kind of demand. So they're going to continue
to get sick. So when you think about all of this, when you think about people who are in a worse situation than you, that should instill a sense of gratitude, that you're still grateful, no matter how bad you think your situation is, you're still grateful to Allah subhanho wa Taala, that you're alive, and you get to wake up, and you get to do the things that you need to do and spend time with the people closest to you. So with that being said, let's not worry about where I should be if my drummer is going to be accepted or not, it's already been taken care of. Here's what we have to focus on. If we want to move forward from this trial that all of us the entire globe is going
through if you want to do this, here are a couple of things to keep in mind. Number one, it's not something new to this generation or to this oma if you look back in all the prophets and messengers, early humans Salaam, they all went through the greatest hardships, and some of those hardships you and I we don't have the ability to even imagine how it is. So for example, no Holly has set out this massive flood comes, he's able to save as many as he could save, but his own son, his own child, tells him straight to the father's face, tells him that you know what, I'm going to go over there. I'm going to seek protection elsewhere. Dad, I know you're a prophet, but I'm not going to come with
you. You know, the mountains are going to keep me safe. So I'll be okay. You go your way the father is pleading with the child. And he says upon Allah, I'll see milliohm women mo de la illuma Rahim. He tells his child nothing is going to save you today. Nothing is going to protect you today. Except by Allah's mercy. You guys know what happens next? At the end of the day, they both went their separate ways the flood came and destroyed the sun. Again, it's still not over for the father, he pleads to Allah. And he asks a law that my son, he was from my family. It wasn't something that I could do. And isn't there some way that you can help me Oh, Allah, he's my son. He's my kid. I mean,
of course, I know he did the wrong thing, but he's a child is there is something and Allah subhanho wa Taala. Again, if you think the test isn't hard enough, ally honestly believe that when you're a parent, if your child is hurt, whether it be in a flood, or some other disaster or catastrophe, that's one thing. But that experience of not being able to help your child when your child is in need, that could probably hurt you more than any disaster or catastrophe that could befall your child is to know that as a parent, I can't step in and be there for my child and protect my child. And Allah subhanaw taala adds to it and says to no highlight, he said, call the inner who lays them
in Alec, no hallasan he's not from your family. So don't think for a moment that this is going to work. Sure, yeah, you're his father. But when somebody disobeyed Allah azza wa jal to that extent, and especially when you're the child of a prophet, it's not going to work. Just imagine the the trial, the difficulty, the hardship, the pain that no Haile Selassie has to listen to and deal with when he hears that. But what does he do? He asks Allah, Allah, I apologize. And forgive me. I was being ignorant, and I wasn't thinking things through. Now. Keep that in mind. So no highlight Hassan goes through this incredible, incredible trial or difficulty. And what does he do? He apologizes and
he seeks a less forgiveness. Ibrahim alayhis salam, he confronts an entire community. And he tells them that what you guys are doing is wrong. You guys need to obey Allah. He's about 13 years old when he's doing this. What do they do? They go back and forth. They threaten him, they try to punish him And long story short, they built a fire that some scholars say the fire was so big. It was so tall. It was so powerful that even the birds in the sky as they were flying over the fire. They would feel the intense heat and some of the birds would fall and drop to their death. Just from the intense heat of that fire. What's Ibrahim alayhis salaam told to do? Yeah, go ahead and walk into
the fire now. But Allah subhanho wa Taala does something for him. You guys all know the story. Paulina Yeah, now who Cooney Baraka was Salam and Allah Ibrahim
You say to the fire, a lot orders the fire to become cool. Like now it becomes like a sea. It doesn't become heat anymore. It becomes like air conditioning for him. It cools him. He walks into the fire, but he doesn't feel no pain. How did all of this happen? Is it just a miracle? Not really brothers and sisters, it is a miracle. But there was another ingredient
that we could get the same result as if we were walking into a fire for the sake of Allah. And when I say the same result, no. Ibrahim alayhis salaam trusted Allah, trusted Allah instruction, trusted Allah cuddler. Just keep that in mind because now you're going to see where I'm going with this. Then we come to our Prophet Muhammad, Allah, his salatu salam, everything in his entire Prophethood from since day 123 years, he's been persecuted. He's been sought after he's been threatened even by his own family, his own uncle's Abu Jamal and Abu lahab. All of these guys did everything they could to torture their nephew, sallAllahu wasallam. What is the process I sent him do each and every time
he's confronted with the enemies of Allah this way, and you're constantly persecuting him. What does he do each and every time he raises his hands to Allah, and he continues to pray. But one thing he never ever stops doing is he never gives up on Allah. He never compromises his religion for anything. And so brothers and sisters, if you really want to know how we can move forward, in the midst of this crisis of this outbreak, or any other catastrophe or any other disaster that affects you and I, we move forward with trusting our Creator, building
between us and Allah. And so this is where the believer always finds good in the world, situation, situations and circumstances. Our Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam was amazed at the mentality of a believer that even when something bad happens to them something evil, something terrible, something difficult, what do the believers say, still say Alhamdulillah. And I'm saying Alhamdulillah. And I hope that those of you watching, say it right now, just say to yourself, just say Al Hamdulillah. And when you say that sincerely, you'll already immediately start to feel some sense of comfort, and ease within you. Just trust him. You've been doing it all along, he gave you instructions to go out
for Juma to pray too fast to do all of these things. And you you responded to it. But then here in this situation, we can go and do the things that we used to do. So what makes it any different, just trust him. He knows what he's doing. And in sha Allah hotel with that trust, you'll always find the strength, both physically and mentally to get through this. And so with that being said, my brothers and sisters, when you ask the question, how can we move forward? There's really only one way relying, trusting and holding on to our Creator. I remember what I said to you in a previous reminder that the end of the day, it's only our connection with Allah, that gives us hope, and makes
us feel confident in ourself. And this is what Ibrahim alayhis salaam did. This is what new Allah He said and did. This is what all the prophets and messengers of the past did, especially our Prophet Mohammed it is Salatu was Salam. At the end of the day, they never compromise their message they held on to Allah's Deen, and they never let go. It is safe to say as well, this could be one of the signs of the last day. Now we don't know from this sign to the next and to the last day, how many months or years are left. But we do know that this is another huge step forward. It is a sign and it is something for us to take a moment and really understand and look around and see what's happening.
It's not just happening because of a random outbreak. Allah azza wa jal sends this stuff to happen. For whatever reason, we don't know. But the limited knowledge that we have, yeah, it could be a step forward, it could be another huge step towards that last day. So moving forward also should be considered of how your frame of mind what you're thinking about and your priorities and what's important to you. Spend time with family. Spend time with the people closest to you. I know you get a lot of reminders that you should pray and do is count on all of those things. Yes, you shouldn't be doing that. But when you're not doing those things, at least spend time with your children with
each other. Pray and make dua for one another. Our Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam told us the believer that prays for their brother or
Sister in faith, Allah will answer their dorm and whatever it is that you prayed for, for your brother and sister. So if I asked, Oh ALLAH forgive them, Allah will forgive the one who made the door 10 times more. So you have nothing to lose only to gain. It's important that we stay positive. In these times my brothers and sisters, it's important that we stay focused and it's important that our faith and trust in Allah continues to grow stronger and stronger. I know it is difficult. We're human beings when I used to this stuff, and especially for those of you who might hear that there are Miss messages out there that are still having Juma, still putting the lives of congregants like
you and I at risk. do them a favor, do yourself a favor, call them and let them know and warn them not to have jumar anymore. This is like this is the more important priorities that we stay safe. It makes no sense whatsoever to congregate. 10 or 12 people, when usually your msgid congregates, five or 600 people, what's the point? Just by numbers alone, if a handful of people end up showing up, because you want to go against everyone that 99% of massages out there who closed down you want to go against all of them? For what? Like what's the point? What are you trying to achieve? You're putting the lives at risk 10 or a dozen people? What's the set? What's the point behind that? It's
jumar comes from the word Jim Morrison. So it's supposed to gather everybody and as much as possible of the community. So if that's not achieved, then there's no jar. And Allah subhanho wa Taala is not unjust, he's fair, he is an idol. He is the source of justice. So he's not going to hold us and punish us for things that we can control. And so with that being said, what I'm going to do right now is I'm going to pause like how we usually pause in the gym or whatever, you know when the man goes for his jelsa the sitting resting period. So just so we can sort of have somewhat of a Juma experience in this reminder. I'm going to pause right now for about two or three seconds, just to at
least I can experience that and you all can experience that in shot low Tara. So when I pause, make a short Dora escalada forgive us and definitely ask Allah to heal us from the struggle from this test that is happening globally around the world. A call no matter smallest stuff it'll literally welcome it certainly Muslim and I'm incredibly them for stuff futile in the whole world. Haldol Rahim.
Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam ala rasulillah. While earlier he was happy he woman whether I'm buried, you know, brothers and sisters, just this morning, I looked at the news. And the overall count globally around the world in terms of those who are getting the virus is just over I think 250,000 people and it continues to grow. And Subhanallah just just think of that number alone. And with that being said, also remember some of the countries that are hit the hardest, especially Italy, take some time to pray for everyone in Italy, that Allah subhanho wa Taala protect them and allow this virus to come to its end, especially their morsel, because they are really suffering.
Earlier this morning, we saw that there were some videos of people in Italy recording truckloads of bodies being carried out. Why? Because these people who who contracted the virus, there weren't any any spots available to bury them. So now they're going into mass graves and we just they just don't know what to do with the bodies. They can't keep up with the amount of bodies dying to processing those bodies and burying them. It's a really, really scary situation for people in Italy. So take some time to pray for their protection. Pray that Allah subhana wa Taala heal the world from this virus and allow that this moment that we have time alone with one another with ourselves with the
people closest to us to bring us closer together as an oma. I don't know when we will be back in the masjid. But I am confident and optimistic that insha Allah, Allah Allah will decide what is best for all of us. Also remember that mustard and Nebo ie the Prophet's mosque in Medina has also been closed. And it's the first time that it was closed since I think it's 1892 or something like that. 120 something years ago, was the last time there was a virus outbreak back then in the late 1800s. And the message was closed that and this is the first time it's been closed since then. So it's an extremely emotional time for the Muslim world. Even at the heart of
The Muslim world, no one can go and visit the process someone's grave anymore. No one's allowed in. And so this is really, really something to take time and ponder and reflect, but also clean up your life, clean up any mistakes and problems, struggles that you have clean that stuff up. If you have like, an attitude problem with people, you don't get to just go on with your life with an attitude in your home, you got to stop that, you've got to clean up those bad habits. If you have problems with people, if you can get along with each other, if you're just if you're just like what I like to call like the the community, grouch, everybody is a problem to you. And all of us experienced people
like that, that's an attitude you have to change, you don't get to walk around and say, This is who I am. So there's nothing I can do. You know, I just, I just don't like people. That's a big problem. And this time alone, you should be able to reflect on yourself, and clean up these these issues so that when you get back out insha, Allah hotellet in the community, things will be much clearer makes sense. And you'll start to appreciate the community much more. When we learn to appreciate each other more, we get to support one another and our community continues to flourish and grow and become stronger, we become close knitted to each other. We look out for one another, as our Prophet
alayhi salaatu wa sallam told us I mean, you should do, the believer always looks out. For the other believer, we are all one body. So we kind of look out for each other, we support one another. And to get to that stage where it's permanent. This is the time. So just think of this isolation is more or less like a refining process for our email, when we're refining our email, we're really strengthening it and we're cleaning up all of the things that could disrupt that process in sha Allah huhtala. So with that being said, this is really all I want to leave you with. So if you're wondering how we can move forward, we probably already are moving forward. So May Allah subhanho wa
Taala bless and reward all of us. But at the same time, forgive us and shower us with His mercy. We pray that Allah Subhana Allah, Allah forgive us forgive our sins and our mistakes. We pray that Allah subhanho wa Taala clean up our lives, clean up any habits, any attitudes, any thoughts that we may have, that Allah is displeased with? Yeah, Robbie. In this time of isolation, we asked you to clean up our hearts and our lives in a manner that is pleasing to you alone. I mean, and so with that being said, my brothers and sisters, I'm going to conclude this the same way that I usually conclude my homeless, so we will send peace and blessings to our souls Salatu was salam o la by
saying in the law a woman Allah he can tell who you saw lunarlon ob Yeah, you Hello Tina M and also Laura Lee, who was suddenly more Taslima Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala le Mohammed kamasan later Allah Ibrahim while early Ibrahim in the comedo Majid a lot of material Massimino, well mostly meant well meaning one minute here, you mean him? Well, um, what in the Caribbean semiology but there was a long international political agenda or not called Robert la Herman COVID armelle when he was becoming another one called Robert la Herman Colin Omen along with mystery model diner where a lot of the Muslim in a long machine Medina woman Muslim in a lot more fiddly how you know when they

Somehow No, no, because there is that you know, your cell phone or sell them on island was Selena What? hamdu Lillahi Rabbil aalameen. And so at this time by brothers and sisters, as I conclude, I will ask all of you to pray your celestial vote now. don't pray to autocorrect Juma Don't follow me as the Imam. This is not that kind of Juma, but this is a short reminder. But at this time once I conclude this video, it's time for the latter anyways, especially those of you who are in this part of the world in Eastern Standard Time. It is about just
almost 125 so it's time for you to give the event or the comma and pray for rokerites of solid over. May Allah bless you all until I see you again in sha Allah for another short reminder to zygoma low Hydra and thank you all for listening.
We'll send out more alikum warahmatu Allahi wa barakato
