start off by praising Allah subhanho wa Taala who is no doubt our Creator sustainer nourish, protect and cure. We asked him subhanho wa Taala to shower his choices of blessings and salutations upon our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam, his family members, his companions and all those who tread upon his path with utmost sincerity until the day of
slaves of Allah first and foremost, I advise myself and then all of you all present here to adopt a life of taqwa. And that is to fear Allah subhanho wa Taala and to be conscious of him during every single second of our lives, if we wish to attain success in this world as well as the hereafter. May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us all from the people of taqwa and mainly make us from the victorious and successful ones. I mean,
inshallah, to Allah, The topic for today's kotoba is, why do we dream? Let me repeat the topic again. Why do we dream?
When we look at our brains from a scientific point of view,
it is a mysterious little ball of gray matter, scientists and researchers have been researching and studying about the brain. And they're still baffled in regard to certain things that our brains do in regard to the how and why these things take place. And in terms of sleep studies, and dream studies, here to this particular area two scientists and researchers have been researching for a long time, and they are yet confused in regard to the reason as to why we really dream. So let's look at what Islam has to say about dreams. To start off, let me share a hobby so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam there has been recorded in the book of Imam Bukhari and Muslim rahima
Humala and the narration goes along the lines of these words, but for the Why is that a long while you had to send him his report we have said that dreams are of three types. Dreams are of three types. Type number one is the dream that comes from Allah subhanho wa Taala. We're going to go into each category and expound in Sharla data. But at the very outset, let me briefly touch on the three categories. Category number one, are the dreams that come from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Category number two is the type of dreams that comes from the devil. It comes from shavon himself. And the final category is a category where an individual perhaps thinks about something in the morning and
he dreams about it in the evening is from his own imagination. We'll talk about each of these categories in detail in Shambo done before we
Go into the categories themselves. There are a few misconceptions sadly that people have about dreams. There's actually a spectrum, we have certain individuals who completely dismiss dreams and say that dreams, you know, are just like legends and they really have nothing to do with us. They don't believe in dreams and they completely dismiss the dreams, they wouldn't consider dreams to be from Allah subhanho wa Taala or from the devil, they completely dismiss dreams. But like I said, we have an authentic hadith words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that clearly state that there is one category that is from Allah, Subhana Medina, and yes, one category from the devil, and
one category from within our own selves. And apart from that, when we look at the other extreme of the spectrum, we have certain individuals who go overboard with their dreams, where they think that if I see a particular dream, I have to act upon that particular dream, or every single dream that I see, be it an evil dream, otherwise known as nightmares in the English language, even those dreams, they consider those dreams to be messages that they are supposed to act upon. There was even an incident
in the lands of Arabia to place in the lands of Arabia, there was a woman who asked a scholar in regard to a dream that she had seen. She had seen her husband in that dream involving himself in Xena in fornication and adultery in her dream. So she was on the verge of requesting and asking for a divorce because of that, because she strongly believed because of the dream that her husband was involved in adultery, he was involved in an illicit relationship and extramarital relationship perhaps, and she wanted to go ahead and file the papers for divorce. So as you can see, there is a spectrum where some of us sadly, on one extreme, where we go overboard in terms of believing dreams
confirming in them and at times, even acting upon them. And then we have another extreme where there are those of us who completely dismiss dreams. So the whole point of today's hookah is inshallah to Allah to shed light upon the matter and the topic of dreams through the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam, so that we are upon clarity in regard to our dreams, and most importantly, so that we know what to do when we see a dream, a good dream or a bad dream. Now moving on into the categories. Let's start off with the type of dreams that stem from within our own selves. Now, this particular category has been discussed in detail by the scholars. And there
are two names that they suit for this type of a dream. One is heavy to neffs in the Arabic language heavy to neffs. In the sense of self talk, you can translate that as self talk. And another name that the scholars suit for this type of a dream is Neff Sani Neff, Sen in the sense a psychological dream. Let me give you an example. Say a person is looking at buying an a nice motor vehicle and expensive motor vehicle. He is in the market looking to perhaps buy the latest BMW or the latest Porsche. He's daydreaming about this particular car about this particular motor vehicle. It's all what he thinks about throughout the day, he's going around checking, you know, showrooms for this
particular vehicle, maybe even test driving a few vehicles. So he's thinking about this vehicle, day and night. So throughout the day, he's going around checking for this vehicle, like I said, He's daydreaming about the vehicle. So when night comes about lo and behold, he goes to sleep and then he finds himself in a dream driving that particular vehicle. Now, this is a figment from his own imagination. And you have to understand that this particular category is also affected by external impulses. External impulses affect this type of dreams. Like say for example,
if whilst you were sleeping, if you were to subconsciously hear the gurgling sound of water, or if someone were to come and put a cup of water on your face, to wake you up for failure, perhaps now what may happen is because of the external impulses, you may see yourself drowning in a particular dream, you may because of the external impulses, because external impulses do affect this type of
dreams. This dream is known as a this category is known as necessarily, like I said, psychological dreams. Now, does this dream have anything to do with good or evil scholars clearly state that this particular category has nothing to do with good or evil, there is no good message within this dream. Nor is there any evil message in this dream because it is just a figment of your own imagination, your train of thought, your thoughts that day, perhaps things that were in your subconscious external impulses. These are the things that effect this particular category of dreams. This is number one.
Moving on to the second category. Now this category, like I said upon proverbs of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the type of a dream that comes
From the devil himself. Now let's expound in detail in regard to this particular category insha Allah. Now this category two has two names suited by the scholars. Number one problem with shavon. Home Ministry upon in the sense, you can translate that as nightmares from the devil. This is category This is named number one. And the other name that they sued for this is shaytani. This is a shaytani type of a dream in the sense a devilish dream or a nightmare, if you will. Now, like I said earlier, these dreams are from the devil himself. Say for example,
you see a dream, where you find yourself in a gruesome and horrible accident. May Allah subhanho wa Taala save us all and protect us. I mean, on the other hand, you see your loved ones in a dreadful accident, may Allah subhanho wa Taala protect all of our loved ones, I mean, or you see yourself being chased by monsters by aliens by bees, by Boogie things. You see these kinds of dreams. And the sign to identify this dream is that you wake up terrified, you wake up horrified. You wake up in a cold sweat, you're scared, you're petrified. I mean, if you see this type of a dream. Now this dream or this particular category of dreams is from Shere Khan himself. There was once an incident where a
man came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
And said to him Yasuda long, I saw a dream, the narration goes along the lines of these words, I saw a dream where in that dream, my head, my head was chopped off, my head was chopped off, and my head was rolling on the ground like a ball, and I was running behind my head to pick it up, I was running behind my head to catch it and pick it up. But otherwise, for the long haul, you lie you sell him when he heard this from the man who immediately educated the man he told the man, don't go around telling people about how the devil toyed with you last night. Don't go around telling people in regard to how the devil played with you last night. Now there are a number of points that can be
deduced from this particular Heidi. Firstly, we're not supposed to go around talking about our nightmares. We're not supposed to go around talking about all these scary visions that we attend. See at night. That's number one. And number two, we clearly understand that these visions are a result of the play of the devil. He is looking at irritating us, he's looking at perhaps causing some mischeif he's looking at frightening us. This is completely from the devil. And in terms of what can be deduced from these dreams is that there is no good at all that can be deduced from such dreams. No, are we supposed to be scared of the evil that is contained within the dream in the sense
if you see something horrifying, you're not supposed to believe in those dreams, because these dreams are from the devil. And he's trying to play around with us. Like say for example, you see yourself in a dream, like I said earlier facing an accident in your motor vehicle. Now just because you saw this dream The next day when you wake up, you call your office and you say that you're not coming in for work. Why? Because you're scared to drive that day because you think your dream might come true. Your dream might come true. Maybe your sister sees herself, you know, going through a horrible accident in the kitchen. And now the minute she wakes up she decides you know what we're
ordering food today. I'm not cooking today, I'm not going anywhere close to the kitchen. Now the minute we come up with such decisions, say we call in and say we're not coming forward. That's when the devil starts to laugh away. Why? Because he has fooled you. He has made you believe in that particular dream. You have become superstitious, you have started to believe in a dream which is from the devil himself. At the end of the day, we need to understand that everything has been decreed by Allah subhanho wa Taala these evil dreams from the devil cannot change the decree of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So before we move into the final category, let's look at a few quick action
items that have been taught to us by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to primarily protect ourselves from such dreams and say if we were to experience such a dream, a few action items to do at that time as well.
Number one, we're supposed to read ayatul kursi before we sleep if we want to protect ourselves, you see ayatul kursi is like an armor and armor that a soldier Dawn's before he goes into battle a fighter Dawn's before he goes into battle. It protects you I procuracy And likewise, it provides this aura of protection where no devil no force of evil can think of getting close to you. Because you need to understand there is just not Chevron out there. There are many forces of evil at work out there. And we as believers, intelligent believers, we need to be able to secure means of protection that have been taught to us by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, through the
Quran, through the Sunnah through the morning evening, as there are many teachings that have been given to us by the prophet sallallahu Sallam
tools and weapons if you will, that we can utilize to put in precautionary measures to drive and expel away the devils in terms of ayatul kursi we have the famous Hadith that has been recorded in the book of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah.
Abu Dhabi along one he makes mention of the narration.
He states that
he states that for a long while you added he was seldom put him in charge of looking after the baby man. There was some work that had come in Zakat well socketable wealth and this wealth, if you will have to be divided across the people. There had to be certain percentages that have to be taken out from the wealth given to the vital man there were certain things that had to be done in regard to that particular wealth. So anyway, before all of that, so, liason Allah, Selim appointed Abu huraira de la one, to look after the wealth. The narration goes along the lines of these words. So what happened was Abu huraira, the loved one, he was put in charge. So night approaches, and now he's
vigilant and he's looking after the world. Suddenly he notices a man a man pilfering away pilfering away from the wealth. The Zakat was there was a man pilfering away. Abu huraira the last one he rushes to that man, and he catches him and he tells him he asked him What on earth are you doing? Why are you stealing from this account? Now the man knew that he was Scott and overall Viola one went on to say I am going to produce you in front of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
The man immediately begins begins to beg and plead and he says please, please let me go. I'm an extremely poor person. And I'm just doing this to you know, feed myself and my family. We are very hungry Please let me go. I won't repeat, repeat this. So beware of the other one being a very kind person in in nature. What he did was he let the man go. He excused the man. He wanted him and let him go.
Morning cams and Abu huraira the last one goes into the presence of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and before he could inform Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam asked him
what happened in regard to your visitor last night? Now this was something that Allah subhanho wa Taala had informed the supervisor about while you it was about and he questionable for the long one who about it now but the other one was amazed that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam knew about the the encounter that took place between him and that particular man.
So he tells the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam in regard to what happened between him and the man. And then the supervisor among wildly varying sentiment, want to say he will come tonight as well. He will come tonight as well. Now that the professor Allison had given him a heads up over the other one was even more vigilant that night the second night, because he was on the lookout to catch the man because he thought I excused the man I let him go and the prophets Allah Allah Islam tells me that he will come tonight, this time, I'm not going to let him go. Once again, he spots the man pilfering again. He catches the man and he tells him You know what, nothing doing nothing doing. I'm
not going to listen to you. I am going to produce you in front of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, you can tell him all of you excuses. The man begs the man pleads and he cries away Please let me go Please let me go. Finally Abu huraira the last one, he lets him go. morning comes the Prophet sallallahu Sallam asks him again in regard to the visitor who visited during the night. And he said that he would come a third time, he will come a third time. Now Abu huraira the last one was determined come what may? I'm going to produce him in front of the Prophet sallallahu sallam. The third night This man is pilfering away, Abu huraira. The other one catches him and he tells him I'm
not going to listen to you. I'm producing you in front of the prophets. Allah. Listen. Now the man knew there's basically three strikes and you're out here. So the man looks at
you and says,
You know what? Let me teach you something. Let me teach you something. And it's something powerful that I'm going to teach you the narration goes along the lines of these words. Above. The other one the minute the man said this, this piqued his curiosity. And this intrigued him because at the end of the day, we have to understand that they were our than students of knowledge. And they all they were always looking out to seek knowledge. So the minute the man said this one was intrigued. He was baffled in a way. What is this man going to teach me? He's pilfering away and now he promises to teach me something amazing. So you looked at the man and said, Okay, give me what you've got. Teach
me What is it? The man looks at him and says, when you go to bed when you go to sleep, read ayatul kursi read ayatul kursi and you will be protected by Allah subhanho wa Taala. And according to another narration an angel will be appointed to protect you and no Devin. No Devin will come close to you. Now these were the
words that the
Man pronounced in front of Abu huraira the alarm one morning comms supervisor Ravana usnm asks Abu huraira, viola one in regard to what happened the night before Abu huraira the last one went on to tell the professor lie, listen, and this is what happened. The man said he's going to teach me something, and I let him go because of that. And he taught me that if I were to read it through cusi yaroslava, I would be protected by a wasp. But if I when I go to sleep, if I were to read it through to see, I would be protected by Allah subhanho wa Taala. And no devil would come close to me. Assume I said, allamani you and he was sent him the mentone to say, Yeah, bye.
The one who taught you this is generally a liar is generally a liar, he always lies. But this time, this time, he has spoken the truth unto you, and also lies and Allison went on to inform Abu huraira, the one that it was shaped on, it was chiffon, Holmes himself who had come in the guise of a human being, he had come in the guise of a human being. Now this is from the abilities of the jinn, and the angels that they can take on different forms, they can shape shift. So she upon had come in the form of a human being, and thought about the last one who something and this piece of information that he shared with, the other one was confirmed by the prophet sallallahu sallam. And
that's why we can take it as evidence. We don't take general statements of the devil as evidence because he is a liar. But this particular statement was confirmed and sanction by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So we use it as evidence. And we understand that Repossi is extremely powerful, and it can protect us from the devils because it was said by Shere Khan himself.
Another thing about ikusi is that it is the greatest verse in the Quran, the greatest verse in the Quran, so please make it a point to read article kursi before you go to bed, as this will protect you from the harms and the evils of the devils moving on, say if you were to experience a nightmare, and if you were to wake up shaken, petrified, scared, then what are you supposed to do? According to the words of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, you are supposed to turn towards your left and spirit. Now when I say spirit, what should be understood from the the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi Salaam is Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam did not mean spitting heavily to to to to the left
now, it basically means spitting drying, in the sense a symbolic gesture where you spit dryly towards your left. Only sound should be emitted and not saliva only sound and not saliva, you spit dryly to your left and you're supposed to seek refuge in Allah subhanho wa Taala by reading amnesty either out of the villa he min ash shaytani r rajim. Three times you're supposed to speak three times and seek refuge in Allah subhanho wa Taala price. According to another narration of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, you if you have been really shaken up, you can also go perform ablution and offer to voluntary units of prayer seeking the protection of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And after
that, according to the guidance of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, you're not supposed to go around the next day morning, if you will, they're not supposed to go around talking about this particular nightmare. You're not supposed to tell people about this nightmare because nightmares are from the devil. Now apart from nightmares, by extension, there's another area of discussion. Dreams of an erotic nature or dreams of a Wilder nature are also from the devils it's also included in this particular category. And dreams of an erotic nature also known as wet dreams are also known as wet dreams. Now these dreams to like say for example, an individual sees himself in a dream. indulging
in sexual * perhaps now these dreams which have an erotic nature are from the devil.
And the ruling behind such dreams is that the individual male or female who witnesses such dreams are not held accountable, nor are they sinful because it is from Shere Khan himself. And apart from that, if an individual experiences an optional emission, if that individual were to * during the dream, then that individual should take a complete devotion, a complete bath the next day morning because through that dream, that individual enters into a state of Genova, a state of a major ritual impurity. And to come out of that you obviously have to take a full bath, but even these dreams are from Chevron. Chevron is just playing with our minds. And because perhaps he failed
to make us commit sins in the real world. He tries to make us do it in the world of dreams. there too. We're supposed to seek refuge of Allah subhanho wa Taala and the ruling like I mentioned, you're supposed to take a bath that is if you experience a nocturnal emission. That is if you * during the dream and this is applicable for males and females, it's just not for males, even females experience such dreams according to
words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
moving on the final category. And this category like I said, is the category where these dreams are from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And once again there are two names that are suited for this category as well by the scholars named number one is a Rukia visions and dreams that are from Allah subhanho wa Taala and the other name is Rama and he in the sense dreams that are Othmani dreams that are from a rock man from Allah subhanho wa Taala.
Now, how do you identify these dreams, these dreams are identified where you wake up the next day morning and you do not wake up petrified because when a dream is from Allah subhanho wa Taala you will never ever wake up petrified, you will never wake up scared, you would either wake up optimistic, you would wake up in a very positive manner. Like they say, you know, you may have gotten off the right side of the bed and on the wrong side of the bed because the wrong side of the bed would mean that you've seen a nightmare. So you would either wake up optimistic in a positive way. Or you would wake up in a neutral state of mind now either petrified, no optimistic or positive
and the difference between because obviously we know how to identify nightmares. The difference between a dream from Allah subhanho wa Taala and a dream from your own imagination is that the dreams from Allah subhanho wa Taala you would remember every single detail in a very vivid manner. On the other hand, dreams are from your imagination. The next day morning most of the time we will forget these dreams there are many dreams that we experienced. But we can't remember those dreams The next day morning because they have completely been erased from our subconscious. Or apart from that you would only remember bits and pieces of the dream it would be very hazy. But on the other
hand greens are from Allah subhanho wa Taala are very clear and very vivid you would remember every single detail of that particular dream.
And this particular category, my dear respected elders and brothers in Islam is the category that the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam used to always experience because their dreams could not be tempered by the devil. The devil has no access to the dreams of the Prophet sallahu wa Salatu was Salam know where they are dreams figments of their own imagination, whatever they dreamt was from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Like say, for example, the dream of Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam, when he saw himself sacrificing his son, and he went on to act upon that dream because it was divine revelation from Allah Subhana Medina. And apart from that, the ayah that I read the the inception
use Valley salat wa salam he sees 11 stars 11 stars, the sun and the moon prostrating unto him and the dream as you all know, comes true manifests itself itself later on towards the end of the story. So, in terms of the Prophet sallahu wa Salatu was Salam they used to experience only this particular category of dreams. Now, in terms of general human beings, this particular category divides itself into two, one is known as wildish in the Arabic language where the dream is clear, it is cut and right basically, you see something in your dream and the message is that now this type of a dream is something that Allah subhanho wa Taala bestows upon the righteous individuals, as the professor
Allison is reported to have said, the the truthfulness of an individual's dream is based on that individual's integrity. If he is truthful in speech, then his dream will be true. According to the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam, there is one particular category and the next category is known as a symbolic category. Now these dreams are cryptic dreams, okay, that contains symbols that need interpretation that need interpretation, they're not cotton, right? You see a particular dream and you need to get that dream interpreted.
Like say, for example, towards the end of the story of use valleys that was the RAM, the king of misser. He sees 17 cows and seven fat cows, he sees the 17 cows devouring the seven fat cows, and no one at that time could interpret the dream of the king, except for use valleys that was ceram because use valleys, not wassalam was given that knowledge but Allah subhanho wa Taala. So he interpreted that dream as the seven fat cows being seven years of abundance in the sense that people of misery would be blessed with seven years of prosperity and abundance, only to be followed by 17 cows IE seven, seven years of scarcity and difficulty. So he deduced a very powerful mechanism and a
protocol from that dream where he educated the king, that during the seven years of abundance, don't be neglectful. And he, you know, don't be don't indulge in heedlessness, but instead Prepare yourselves for the seven years of scarcity and difficulty. So that's what the king did at the end of the day, use Valley slackbot ceram was appointed as the Minister of Finance and treasuries if you will. And they stopped themselves for seven years and when the seven years of scarcity
did come about, they had enough provisions to keep themselves safe. And not only that, they were also able to provide provisions to the neighboring cities. And that's how the brothers of use Valley snap wassalam came to Egypt to seek help. Anyway, like I said, Now these dreams are cryptic and need interpretation. So now let's quickly touch on dream interpretation, one or two minutes and then we'll wrap off inshallah, in terms of dream interpretation, if you see a dream that is symbolic, that is cryptic, you need to get that dream interpreted. Now, something to be clearly understood about dream interpretation is that it is a science taught by Allah subhanho wa Taala. It is not a
science that is taught by men to men, you can ask any scholar on Earth, who has spent 10 years studying the sciences of Islam, 20 years studying the sciences of Islam, there is never ever a subject taught about dream interpretation. Why? Because this is a science that is not taught by men to men, nor can you get your dreams interpreted by flicking through a dream dictionary. There are those who see a dream and then go through the dream dictionaries that are out there and try to get their dreams interpreted. Now, it doesn't work that way as well. This is a science that I was behind on what Allah blesses certain individuals with, as Allah subhanho wa Taala says about the Prophet
Yusuf alayhi salatu salam in Surah Yusuf workaholic HGTV carob bukoba, who come into Villa Heidi, Allah says that he taught us Valley salat wa salam, the interpretation of dreams. This is a science that is best stowed upon by Allah subhanho wa Taala, to individuals whom He wills. So there are certain individuals who are good at interpreting dreams, and this is based on their righteousness. This is based on their knowledge. And this is based on their closeness that they enjoy with Allah subhanho wa Taala. And there are individuals who are not bestowed with access to this particular science. If you have not been blessed with it, you can't acquire it except unless of our subhanho wa
Taala. Will so so if you see a dream, and if you want to get it interpreted, firstly, a controverse, the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam in terms of the good dreams, you're not supposed to even tell your good dreams except to love once, and people who have a sound knowledge of interpreting dreams, and they are the people of knowledge, they are the scholars. And like I said, not every scholar, but if you trust a particular scholar, if you are close to that scholar, then you may go ahead and ask him in regard to the interpretation of that particular dream, if he can interpret it because at the end of the day, the righteous scholars they do not lie, he will say yes, I can interpret it and he
will try to interpret it. But if he is not familiar with the interpretation of dreams, he will say I'm sorry, I'm not able to interpret this particular dream. And one more final note in regard to symbols is that if you see a dream, for example, in Sri Lanka, or if someone in Africa were to see an elephant in his dream, now that symbol, according to his context, and according to where he comes from, could have a different message for him and say, a person in the United Kingdom if he were to see an elephant in his dream, that symbol would have a different meaning for him. So individuals who see dreams are supposed to go to the people of knowledge from their own locality, from their own
vicinity, who know their context, who know a little background about themselves, so that they are able to interpret the dreams accordingly. So important points, many respected elders and brothers in Islam. If you see a nightmare, don't go around telling anybody about that nightmare. Suppose to seek refuge in Allah subhanho wa Taala in terms of dreams, from your own imagination, completely dismiss them they have nothing to do with good or evil. On the other hand, dreams are from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And like I said, most of the time, the dreams that we see are symbolic and cryptic dreams that need interpretation in terms of the interpretation, go to people who are firmly grounded in
knowledge, who are righteous, who are close to Allah subhanho wa Taala, who you trust, and apart from that you may tell your loved ones and the whole reason behind not telling others is to avoid jealousy, like how the father of use valleys that wassalam advised his son, don't tell this dream to your brothers. Don't tell this dream that you saw Oh my son to your brethren, because for your key do like a K there, they might plot against you a mighty plot in a shape on an insomniac movie. Indeed, Shere Khan is a clear and manifest enemy to mankind. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all from the traps and the snares of the devil. Many as the Virgil forgive us of our sins, may he
accept our goodies. And just as how he and I received this Friday May unite us in the gardens of Genoa with our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam, I mean walk away and in hamdulillah Robben Island
