Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Bismillah AR Rahman AR Rahim Al hamdu lillah wa salatu
salam ala anNabi almost a while back. My dear viewers, welcome to another live edition of our
program Guardians of the pious Today's episode is number 349 indices of real Salehi and it will be
the second in explain in chapter number 109, which deals with the recommendation of eating with
three fingers. In the previous episode, we got a chance to discuss one Hadith in the chapter. And we

00:01:23 --> 00:02:01
			spoke about why is it recommended to eat with three fingers and after he eat, you lick your fingers
if you use your fingers and will say there is no conflict of interest. There is no contradiction
between the recommendation of eating the fingers, three fingers or if you have spoons if you have
forks, as long as you eat with the right hand. So it is permissible to use these utensils, the forks
and the spoons in eating provided you eat with your right hand. What about the matter of licking the
fingers or licking the spoon or the pot that you eating and

00:02:03 --> 00:02:05
			there are two things number one,

00:02:06 --> 00:02:51
			when the Prophet sallahu wa sallam recommended using the three fingers, not the whole hand.
Obviously it was very common that people use to eat with their hands. They didn't have any of these
utensils. So they used to eat with their hands. But the prophets Allah Allah Allah said and
recommended that you should use or three fingers in order to eat a little bit by little bit and not
to eat your fell, which is a source of most diseases. Stomach is a source of most diseases I'm
talking about as a result of too much eating obesity and it comes with a package of other diseases
sickness, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.

00:02:53 --> 00:03:14
			The high cholesterol or whatever. So the eating with the three fingers is to maintain eating a
little bit by little bit. Now, I would like to quote a few a hadith maybe three or even four Hadith
all together, then in sha Allah we will explain them all together because

00:03:15 --> 00:04:08
			somehow there is an overlapping all these are Hadith share some advice. So instead of repeating what
we say whenever we speak about the second or the third Hadith, I'll quote the following Hadith and
inshallah explain them all together. The first hadith is a sound Hadith which is collected by in a
Muslim and it is Hadith number 749 Hadith number 749 Narrated by Jared now Abdullah may Allah be
pleased with him and his father and jevelin probably Allah and Homer and our soul of lawyers. Hola.
Hola, Maria selama Mr. biller Akhil asabi was suffered he will call in a connected Runa fee a year
paramiko Mubaraka. This hadith is collected by Mr. Muslim and it is a sound Hadith.

00:04:10 --> 00:04:24
			In this hadith, the Messenger of Allah keys via Pan Am commanded the licking of fingers and the
cleaning of the dish saying you do not really know in which part of the food the blessing lies.

00:04:26 --> 00:04:59
			Okay, as I said, we will just quote you know the following Hadith then we'll explain them all
together in sha Allah, the following Hadith which is Hadith number 750. Also narrated by jab ribbon
Abdullah and it is also collected by a Muslim in his sound collection. So it is a sound Hadith. And
similarly the following Hadith as well, and javelin Radi Allahu Anhu and Rasool Allah is Allah
Allahu alayhi wa sallam Akkad either work hard look not to a honeycomb for

00:05:00 --> 00:05:17
			Yeah, hold her. So you melt McHenry, Herman Evan. Well, yeah, cool. Well, I had I had a shirt on.
While I am Sayeda who Bill Mindy had a laugh or sabia for in the hula de Yokohama Hill Baraka.

00:05:18 --> 00:06:11
			That's another Hadith, which speaks about basically the wisdom behind the recommendation of either
licking one's fingers or making sure that you eat all the food which is in the plate, which would
begin with the fact that if you're eating by yourself, then you serve a little bit by little bit,
you don't take something that most likely you will not end up eating such as in the case of the
option, buffets and so on. So the messenger of Allah peace be upon him said, when a bite of food
follows, like on the ground, pick it up, remove any of the dirt on it, and then eat it and do not
leave it for Satan. No wipe and wipe the hand with a towel until you lick the fingers. For you never

00:06:11 --> 00:06:15
			know what portion of the food the blessing lies in.

00:06:17 --> 00:06:17
			Okay.

00:06:20 --> 00:06:27
			The third Hadith, which is also narrated by Javed Abdullah or the Allahu Anhu Ummah

00:06:28 --> 00:06:39
			and Rasool Allah He is Allah Allahu Allah He was a llama con in a che Aparna yah boo Hadouken and
actually che immature and

00:06:40 --> 00:07:08
			hot guru and the parameter for either suck of it look metal a honeycomb failure whose hair fell
humid man Matt can we have an oven? So many cool what I really share fun. So either for our failure
lap, or saw the thin layer that if he or your prime Hill Baraka, the hadith is collected by Imam
Muslim.

00:07:09 --> 00:07:47
			And the messenger of Allah peace be upon him said in this hadith that Satan is present with any of
you and everything that he does, is present even when he eats food. So if any of you drops a
mouthful of food, he should remove any thing which is dirty on it, and then eat it and not leave it
for Satan. And when he finishes the food, he should let his fingers for he doesn't know in what
portion of the food the blessing lies. The hadith is collected by Imam Muslim.

00:07:48 --> 00:07:51
			The fourth hadith

00:07:52 --> 00:08:20
			is narrated by Anna Sidney Manik and collected by Imam Muslim. May Allah have mercy on him as well.
And it's a seven Hadith an heiress of Radi Allahu Anhu called Colonel rasool Allah He sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, either Akerlof or Iman learn also the Yahoo sellers will call either Safavid
Lokomat with a honeycomb failure.

00:08:22 --> 00:08:28
			While yomo Tannehill will yet call her when I heard it shaved on

00:08:29 --> 00:08:53
			Well, I'm not gonna, unless Luther will Cassata will call it a necromantic goon if he a year for
amico Moodle Baraka, raha hu Muslim, and a Sydney Malik, may Allah be pleased with him narrated
that, whenever the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him ate food, he would lick his three fingers
and say, if any of you drops,

00:08:54 --> 00:09:23
			a mouthful of food and morsel of food, a bite or a piece of bread, he should remove any dirt that
may have stuck on it, and then eat it and shall not leave it for Satan. He also commanded us to take
out food from the pot saying, You do not know in which part of your food the blessing lies. So now
we've got for a hadith

00:09:24 --> 00:09:59
			and in the for a hadith the Prophet sallallahu Sallam explained the reason why he commended licking
off the fingers or whatever is left over in the plate making sure that you do not leave any left
over in the plate. So the right order is if we're all eating from one big dish, as we explained in
the previous episode, the Islamic etiquette in this regard and these are all recommended acts. These
are all recommend

00:10:00 --> 00:10:46
			good practices and etiquette. Number one to say Bismillah or Bismillah AR Rahman AR Rahim to mention
the name of Allah in the beginning of your food and before eating or before drinking. Number two,
use your right hand eating or drinking. Number three, eat from what is right in front of you. The
Prophet sallallahu alayhi salam mentioned that the baraka is in the center of the food. So if any of
those who are eating from the same dish happen to pick it up, eat from the middle, this is lack of
Islamic etiquette. And it causes withdrawal of the baraka and this is lack of respect to the others
who are eating with you, each one should eat from right in front of them.

00:10:48 --> 00:11:26
			Number four, if the person is eating, whether with a group of people all by himself, that the person
is recommended not to fill his hand with food, rather to eat with the three fingers, again, I don't
use my fingers. I eat with a spoon, or if I'm eating spaghetti eat with the with the four. Is it
permissible shear, yes, it is definitely permissible, should you say Bismillah in the beginning it
from right in front of you. And after you finish, you say Alhamdulillah and make certain you don't
over eat. And actually the

00:11:27 --> 00:11:51
			prophetic advices in this regard is not to eat that you felt rather than to eat enough to fill 1/3
of your stomach or approximately 1/3 of your stomach with the food. And you spend 1/3 of the stomach
for the drink. And you leave the third part of the stomach empty for the air. So now, the prophet
Salah Salem is teaching us

00:11:52 --> 00:12:05
			in a nice way to be in good shape, through observing how you eat and how much food you eat. And by
mentioning the name of Allah in the beginning, a little bit of food will be sufficient versus when
the person

00:12:07 --> 00:12:57
			excuse me, when the person is negligent of mentioning the name of Allah while eating in the
beginning or in the middle or whenever he remembers, they no matter how much he eats, he doesn't
feel satisfied. He doesn't feel full. He still wants to eat more in a minute coffee Makinwa Why are
nlk if you're curious about the condition of the believer that he eats like he has only one stomach
while the non believer he eats and he eats and he is like he's got seven stomach because she shaitan
or Satan is eating with them. It is not really funny though is it a very interesting thing to see
somebody ordering this huge double and triple or quad burger and this half gallon of drink. This is

00:12:58 --> 00:13:53
			disgusting in Islam. This is not the way you eat the prophets Allah Allah Allah Selena se B has with
me Adam Luca emetine Yukirin sorbet, it is sufficient for the person to eat a few bites just to keep
him standing, functioning, doing his work, okay, thank cannula would defy. If you really really like
to eat, then 1/3 of the stomach for the food and 1/3 is for the drink. And you spare the third part
of the stomach for the novice or for the air. Besides that, you end up eating that he fell, he ended
up not being able to sleep especially those who eat very late. And then they go to sleep. And they
eat and they drink and while they are on their bed, you feel like they are rocking the boat. Because

00:13:53 --> 00:14:12
			the food is going back and forth like rocking the boat they have just eating before going to sleep
and the food is up to their thought. This is completely again Islamic teachings of the proper way of
eating and drinking. And obviously if you speak to an internist

00:14:13 --> 00:14:24
			or you know the physicians in general they would advise you that never do that. Also the Prophet
salallahu alayhi salam advised that when you eat

00:14:25 --> 00:14:53
			it, let's say that you've eaten with your fingers because this is what is available. And until today
a lot of people use their fingers in eating or you're eating with a spoon or eating with a fork and
you fill your plate. The prophets Allah Allah Allah said Emma said make certain that you do not
leave any food in the plate. This is an Islamic etiquette, not even on the spoon, but there are a
few drops of rice grains rice macaroni here and there.

00:14:54 --> 00:14:59
			Eat them up. But unfold them from the beginning do not take full

00:15:00 --> 00:15:55
			Would you think that you're not going to eat it? Will she know that you're not going to eat it, take
a little bit by little bit. Once you're done, you can take some more if you feel like you really
want to take some more, what happens is that you see in many countries some up in Murphy's where all
you can eat for 599. It used to be this way, a few years back. Now, maybe 999, which is basically
the price of a sandwich. Soon people walk into such open buffets, and the sea variety of food would
have halal or haram, desserts, ice cream, apple pie, meat, and different types of food. And it's all
as they say, all you can eat. If you watch what happens is that people fill their plates. And they

00:15:55 --> 00:16:40
			eat just a little bit from this and they want to try another type of food. And so they leave it for
the waiter, the vomit in the trash, and another plate and a third and a fourth. It's like they're
taking revenge. As a result of that. We've got tons of ways to food. The Prophet sallahu wa sallam
is teaching us to lick the plate. Make sure that if you if you're eating with a spoon for innocence,
you do not leave a drop of grain or fries or macaroni. Don't clean up your plate. Eat everything
that you have served in your plate, from an Islamic perspective, besides the ticket, and learning
that you only serve what you're going to consume. And keep in mind that there are a lot of people

00:16:41 --> 00:17:32
			who literally die out of hunger and out of thirst. While on the other hand, a lot of people who
waste tons of food, you see the trash can the dumpsters next to some of these fast food restaurants,
or some of these open buffets. It is very scary. You know, the trash cans of these first ones are
enough to feed some people in a whole country who are suffering of starvation. So eat every food
that you serve in your plate. From the Islamic perspective, the Prophet sallallahu Sallam has said
there is what is known as Baraka that we discussed it in the previous episode, in the food. The
Baraka could be in this part of the food could be in the spirit could they be in this bite could be

00:17:32 --> 00:17:35
			in the bite that while you were eating, you drop this piece of bread.

00:17:37 --> 00:18:08
			Most people when they drop the bread basket or even the meat, they trash it, or the push it with
their foot. This is a blessing. And as Joseph said, we as we're talking right now, we're fully aware
that our lot of people are suffering of famous suffering of hunger and thirst, and undergoing a
great deal of starvation. Yes, we know that there are some of those rich countries who brag about
how many

00:18:09 --> 00:18:20
			variety of food grains, rice, milk, condensed milk, milk in powder forms, eggs, they dominate in the
ocean

00:18:21 --> 00:18:53
			1000s of tons of food, why? They say according to their own programs, the documentaries showing why
these countries dumped that much food in the ocean, which cost them 10s of millions of dollars to
get the food to pack the food to ship the food. And then in the middle of the ocean, they dammit
why? They say according to them, in order to keep the prices at a similar rate so that the farmers
would not lose. So why don't you just

00:18:54 --> 00:19:49
			export that food to the countries which are in need for an affordable price? Or for the sake of God?
For the sake of humanity? Why don't you feed those who are starving, instead of throwing the food in
the ocean? Those who eat we've got to teach our children that whenever we serve the food, they gotta
contemplate the idea and ponder over the fact that mashallah this is you know, this great variety of
food, rice, bread, fruits, meat, chicken, different types of food, you know, it's all risk from
Allah subhanho wa Taala remember while you're eating, that you got to say thank you Allah for
providing us with this food. Thank you and Allah subhanho wa Taala could be simply say by the tongue

00:19:50 --> 00:19:59
			without realizing what does it mean without paying attention? Because it has become a habit good
food good meatless eat. No, it is not like that.

00:20:00 --> 00:20:29
			It is by being attentive that Allah, the provider, who has provided us with this risk, have asked us
not to waste it will Kulu wash caribou Allah to sleep in our hola yo hebben Mazuri feed. This is
what Allah Almighty say it and eat and drink, and do not be extravagant, do not be wasteful, because
Allah the Almighty likes not the wasteful ones, unfortunately,

00:20:30 --> 00:20:36
			even among Muslims and amongst the Arab particularly, and we have to face it.

00:20:38 --> 00:21:29
			You see, the amount of waste is definitely ridiculous. I have to acknowledge the fact that the Indo
Pak community, our brothers and sisters from this part of the world, are very careful when it comes
to, you know, respecting this namah and not wasting the food. They do not brag before the guests,
they do not cook food, which is enough for a clan, while they have hosted two or three or five or
10. They prepare food enough for people. They're wealthy, they can afford it. But this is something
in their culture. There's something in the blood, this is how they were raised to respect the
number. We see a lot of the Arab whenever they invite people, whether it's a wedding

00:21:30 --> 00:21:56
			feast, or for dinner, they consider a shame if they prepare food in not barely enough for the
guests. It is not right. And what happens after you see this huge pan of rice, and you see a camel
sitting on top of it that only five people how much are we going to eat? And we've been invited to
some of these seats and I feel ashamed. What we're going to do.

00:21:58 --> 00:22:47
			How much are we going to eat a small piece of meat, a few bites of rice, then then what? You know we
have seen on video clips how much food is wasted. And it is in some cases, pick the Bucha bulldozers
and dump in the dumpsters. This is Hello. This is definitely haram. You see our Prophet salallahu
Alaihe Salam is teaching us to respect the food and not to be wasteful. And to make certain that to
clean up your plate and to clean up your fingers if you're eating with your fingers and not to leave
any food on the spoon or on the serving spoons. Why? Because there is baraka in it. Even if you only
eating your biscuit, your sandwich, something dropped out of it. In the past their flows were all

00:22:47 --> 00:23:38
			sand it was all sandy ground. So if a piece of bread drops, the Prophet sallallahu sallam said clean
it off from the dirt from the sand. Why would I have to clean it up? He said then eat it. Because
you never know. Maybe the baraka is in this bite in this mouthful in this morsel of food which you
drugged Do not leave it for Satan. In the other Hadith, he said SallAllahu sallam said, The Corinne
or a shaytaan is with one of us everywhere we go. And in every activity, only when you mention the
name of Allah, you deprive him from entering your house. Only when you mentioned the name of Allah
before eating you deprive him from eating and drinking with you, him and his horse. Only when you

00:23:38 --> 00:24:14
			mention the name of Allah when you have a relationship with your spouse his kicked out. Other than
that, if you do not mention the name of Allah, He is always invited. So he's always there and he's
just waiting for any food to drop, so that he will pick it up, do not leave it for a che TA. So to
wrap it up, and to summarize the prophetic etiquette in this regard, Semilla say Bismillah eat from
right in front of you do not eat from the middle of the food. If you're a group of people do not
join, like if you're eating dates or in fruits, put two or three or four at once.

00:24:15 --> 00:24:59
			And neglect the others who are eating with you, especially if the food is barely enough for you. Or
for those who are eating. You gotta consider the rights of those who are sitting and eating with
you. And if you drop any food, clean it up and eat it because there is baraka in it. It could be
that this piece of food or this piece of bread, which has got all the America in the food, so do not
waste it. Do not leave it for the shaytan and do not eat yourself. And once you finish, say
Alhamdulillah simply these are the major etiquette of eating as the Prophet sallallahu Sallam had
been teaching us in the previous Hadith. We gotta take a

00:25:00 --> 00:25:03
			To bake and we'll be back in Sharla in a few minutes please stay tuned

00:25:20 --> 00:25:33
			Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and welcome back to the second segment of today's program,
Guardians of the pious in this program brothers and sisters, which started off maybe seven years ago

00:25:35 --> 00:25:59
			or maybe six years ago we started Alhamdulillah explaining the collection of reliable solid rain by
man will never we may Allah have mercy on him and enrich it enrich and us a great deal with
knowledge, the adab the Sunnah and also do's and ODonnell those halal and haram, the Sunnah of the
Prophet sallahu wa salam, each chapter of the Abu Salah hain,

00:26:01 --> 00:26:21
			which deals with a particular subject of faith, or belief or etiquette. Normally, in omnova, we
would begin the chapter by quoting an idea or two or a few that didn't follow that by the Hadith,
which are narrated in this regard.

00:26:22 --> 00:26:48
			Alhamdulillah we have learned a great deal. We hopefully, inshallah will be able to practice what we
have learned. Why am I reminding you brothers and sisters so that because currently we're having our
live streaming? And it seems like we have newcomers viewers who are viewing the program for the
first time and they are inquiring about it? Also, some are inquiring that is it possible to present
questions? Yes, because this is a live

00:26:49 --> 00:27:27
			program. It is there twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays of every week, the same time that we the
program of ask CUDA and our phone numbers for those who would like to give us a call area code
0020238 treble 5132 The other phone number is same area code 002 Then 01 double 05469323 And as I
said, mashallah, we're having the live streaming currently online on who that TV, the Facebook of
who the TV the following hadith is a sound Hadith.

00:27:28 --> 00:27:54
			And it is in the same chapter of the etiquette of food. Hadith number 753. One of the followers of
the companions of the Prophet Salah Salem have asked jebaited Now Abdullah was so close to the
Prophet sallahu wa salam adult a question so we will see what was the answer of Javelin Abdullah?
And also

00:27:55 --> 00:28:33
			you know, what was his remark in this regard? I'm sorry, didn't Harris a No sir Elijah Viren Radi
Allahu Anhu onion will do II must certain or Sakala what guna Zemon N v Salama Allah He was Alana.
Learn as you do miss less early calf param Illa kalila Thank you either an agenda now who Lamia,

00:28:35 --> 00:29:31
			side in that Harris. May Allah be pleased with him has narrated that he has asked Javid now
Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, about the mandate of performing ablution
after having eating a cooked meal, a meal which was cooked on fire? He replied, No, it is not
required. And then he added, we never used to get such kind of food during the lifetime of the
Prophet sallallahu Sallam except rarely. And if at all, we got such a dish, we didn't have any hand
cushions to wipe our hands with except the palms of our hands, our forearms or our feet. We will
perform the prayer thereafter without performing new ablution okay

00:29:33 --> 00:29:43
			so this hadith My dear brothers and sisters with which happens to be the last Hadith in chapter
number 109 amongst the etiquette of eating

00:29:46 --> 00:29:56
			whichever hidden Abdullah was asked whether it is required to perform voodoo after eating any food
which was cooked on fire.

00:29:57 --> 00:29:59
			So January of now Abdullah and

00:30:00 --> 00:30:09
			answer the answer in a short cup, then hear your market saying something relating to the question
and it says, He said no, you don't have to it is not essential.

00:30:11 --> 00:30:13
			Then he remember the old days.

00:30:14 --> 00:30:20
			When the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and the companions were living in, in a very humble condition.

00:30:21 --> 00:30:28
			He remember Javelin Abdullah, that how the 1000 companions were digging the ditch.

00:30:30 --> 00:31:10
			And they were so hungry, that each one of them was trying to stone against his stomach to suppress
his hunger, his hunger. And then he notes that the Prophet sallallahu sallam was fine to stones.
Again, it's his stomach. This is when he left his fate to break the stone. So he rushed to his wife.
And he asked her what do we have? She said, We don't have butter, little Dajin a little goat. Enough
for a couple of people. He said, he slaughtered it. And he said, fix it up, cook it and prepare it.
I gotta invite the Prophet Salah Salem. He looks so hungry, he's starving. I feel pity for him.

00:31:11 --> 00:31:53
			She said Don't embarrass us with the Messenger of Allah, you know, don't have food. A handful of
bodily we're gonna grind it, make some dough and cook some bread, bake some bread out of that, and
with the little gadget. So you want to the Prophet sallallahu Sallam and he invited him alone with a
couple of his companions. But the prophets Allah Salam would never do it. So we called upon the
entire army 1000 He said, Yeah, LOL 100 All the people of the deaths who dig in the ditch. You have
another agenda that is inviting us for a feast. Jabber was about to collapse.

00:31:54 --> 00:32:03
			fall unconscious? No, I didn't do that. He said no worry about it. Just go home and tell your wife
not to touch the food until I come.

00:32:04 --> 00:32:58
			Then the Prophet Salah Salem went with the whole army. And he put his hand and baked dough, and he
fixed the meat and he started serving the Companions by himself SallAllahu sallam, while the warmer
the pot was still on fire. And 10 by 10 would walk in, serve the food, eat to the fill and leave.
And another thing another group of people another group of people until the whole army of 1000 have
eaten and the food was still in the warmer as Javelin Abdullah have narrated the baraka the blessing
of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu sallam. So it was occasionally when the Companions would find some
cooked food. So what they used to eat dates, milk, you know, dried bread. So when this say different

00:32:58 --> 00:33:07
			Hadith was asking, do we have to perform ablution whenever we eat food, which was cooked on fire?

00:33:08 --> 00:33:18
			He answered by saying no, you don't have to. And he's going to mention the reference. And he
remember the old days when we used to find the scoop food rarely

00:33:19 --> 00:33:31
			that default. Now we don't have this kind of food. You know, a few dates will be sufficient. A sip
of milk would be sufficient, you know, but he said also that

00:33:32 --> 00:33:41
			failed. And I don't know. But if we ever find such food occasionally. Let me acqualina Man Eddie,
you have mentioned two things

00:33:42 --> 00:33:49
			that we use not to have handcuffs. We use not to have napkins or towels.

00:33:50 --> 00:34:15
			And the water was very Aziz was very rare. Nowadays brothers and sisters, we have water in the taps,
water coming to our flats and you fill up your bathtub with water. You soak yourself with the body
wash, wash your head with the shampoo and you keep the water running for 1520 minutes.

00:34:16 --> 00:34:59
			it up yourself in the Jacuzzi in the bathtub for an hour for two there plenty of water, plenty of
water. Back then they didn't have rivers. It was only water springs and order to get the water and
fix the water. They used to work for long distances and SubhanAllah. Nowadays, I think we need to
visit some of those countries in these remote areas where people are still struggling to find clean
water for drinking and for cooking. Yes, I had the chance to visit many countries where people used
to walk for miles in order to fill up buckets of water

00:35:00 --> 00:35:52
			or for their daily use the kids under 10 under seven years old, carrying the pots of water and the
buckets and walking for long distances. So when we speak about the past, you need to imagine what
was it? What was it like in the past. When jabbering Abdullah said we never had napkins, we never
had powers. And obviously we didn't have enough water to wash our hands. It was luxury to find
water, barely for drinking. Water cannot Sahara the companions of the Prophet SAW Selim used to go
for yesterday Boon Alma and interview Salah Salem, which means he used to go to the water rule which
has palatable water, fresh water, or a water that tastes good. And that would require them to walk

00:35:52 --> 00:35:55
			for long distances such as when they used to go to

00:35:56 --> 00:36:22
			Bhutan has garden, which had a very interesting, very nice water spring. I mentioned recently, I
visited the rue the aroma in Medina, which was purchased by Earth native now fan and Subhanallah,
its water is still running, I visited the huge garden which is irrigated solely by the water of beer
room.

00:36:23 --> 00:37:15
			So they didn't have that much water. They didn't even have tissues, they didn't have napkins or
towels. So after the eat, they would wipe their hands again is each other and that's it, or in their
forearms. And that's it. And then, if they happen to have to do before eating, they would pray
without the need to perform another model without the need to perform another role. So what is the
answer to the question that do I have to perform or do when I eat a cooked meal? No, you don't have
to. In addition to learning the interesting story, watch derivative Nabila Radi Allahu Anhu narrated
in disregard. And now brothers and sisters with the following chapter chapter number 110

00:37:17 --> 00:37:19
			Thermotech theory ad,

00:37:20 --> 00:37:21
			Allah time,

00:37:22 --> 00:37:28
			the recommendation of increasing the number of eaters of food.

00:37:30 --> 00:38:06
			The first hadith is Hadith number 754 and Ebihara irata Radi Allahu Anhu called kala Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, ba Mullis Nene care fifth selesa What armacell Assa t care field are ba
This is a sound, Hadith and agreed upon its authenticity in which the Messenger of Allah peace be
upon him said the food of two is enough for three and the food or three is enough for for Subhan
Allah.

00:38:07 --> 00:38:15
			Because remember, a couple episodes back, we started a hadith in which the Messenger of Allah peace
be upon him said

00:38:16 --> 00:38:25
			when a group of people came to him complaining, ya rasool Allah in Kulu, wala nashbar We eat,

00:38:26 --> 00:38:43
			but we do not feel satisfied. We do not feel like full, we still want to eat more. What did he say?
He said, It took me a while to amico do not eat individually. When you eat by yourself.

00:38:45 --> 00:38:54
			It decreases America to increase the baraka increase the number of people who would eat as of today,

00:38:55 --> 00:39:03
			some of my kids were in their health program, and others were in swimming classes. And

00:39:04 --> 00:39:20
			you know, each member of the family was doing something and those who came early, they wanted to
eat. So I noticed that there is only about 20 minutes, 30 minutes by the time that all of us will
get together. So I say remember in this hadith,

00:39:21 --> 00:39:47
			I do not only teach we learn all together, and it becomes very interesting if you capture the
meaning of any of this hadith and start applying it and stop, you know, implementing it in your
life. I said you guys, there's only about half hour left and everybody will get together. Why don't
we wait so that we all eat together so that we will enjoy the blessings of the gathering.

00:39:48 --> 00:40:00
			So we got together on hamdulillah then the youngest one of my kids, he's like three, three and a
half, three and heavy. Once we sat to eat, he remained

00:40:00 --> 00:40:10
			Let us all in his head say Bismillah do not eat all of you do not taste the food before saying
Bismillah Wallahi it is a great blessing.

00:40:11 --> 00:40:12
			You know,

00:40:13 --> 00:40:40
			to feel that everybody in the family appreciates the sun and understand that this is for your own
goodness. Number one, it pleases a lot on my team. Number two, it is good for you and your family's
welfare. It brings a family together. So this chapter is relating to the importance and significance
of eating together, as Ben explained, while

00:40:41 --> 00:41:12
			studying the previous Hadith. So the Prophet sallallahu sallam said, do not eat individually each
day. Meanwhile, atomica and eat together and mention the name of Allah subhanho wa Taala upon
eating, then the Prophet sallallahu sallam said in this hadith which is agreed upon its authenticity
is something very interesting that it has been experienced all the time, all the time. It never
missed SubhanAllah. Here in the studio,

00:41:13 --> 00:42:02
			if we're filming, indoor or outdoor, and maybe one odors, food, but there are three or four more,
who don't have food. So we say Bismillah come and eat together. The food was barely enough for one,
you find two, three, and even four people, we say Bismillah and we eat. And if you like
Alhamdulillah this food was supposed to be sufficient for one person for a single individual. What
happened to it the baraka, the baraka of getting together, saying Bismillah and eating together.
This is a very precious quality brothers and sisters. Don't you ever think that when you invite
somebody to eat with you any kind of food, even the food that you love most and you think, oh, man,

00:42:02 --> 00:42:05
			this is my food, I'm going to enjoy it today.

00:42:06 --> 00:42:20
			If no one is around, just invite somebody to eat with you. You will enjoy the food more, there will
be more Baraka in the food. As the number of the leaders of this food will increase. He said Salah
sent him the food of two

00:42:21 --> 00:42:48
			is sufficient for three, and the food of three is sufficient for four and it is even sufficient. For
more. My dear brothers and sisters by that we've come to the end of today's edition of your program,
Guardians of the pious and until next episode, I leave you all in the care of Allah Coolock Holyhead
our staff Raleigh walakum wa SallAllahu, ala Sayidina Muhammad in one early he was happy wa salam,
wa Salam o alaikum wa rahmatullahi.

00:42:57 --> 00:42:59

00:43:37 --> 00:43:46

the cheapest

00:43:50 --> 00:43:51
			hobby.

00:44:31 --> 00:44:59
			Doo doo doo Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and then we're settling one marhaba Meachum
brothers and sisters, sometimes you have stories related, be it from the people of the past, be it
with regards to certain cultures. But at the end of the day, we should focus on the moral of that
story and not so much get lost in the translation with regards to that story. Brothers and sisters
there's a story related with regards to this pious individual Masha Allah and he had this

00:45:00 --> 00:45:42
			New servant with him. And so they on the journey during that hour for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa
taala. And this pious servant of Allah, He had three roaches with him three rolls with him that he
carried for himself and the servant on the journey, they stopped to eat. And when they take out that
bag with all of the food, he finds that he only has two rotis two rolls in that bag. So he asks his
servant, you know, when I left home, I packed three, I only have two now, do you know what happened
to the other roll? Man says well, like Yeah, I don't know. I don't know at all. And so they
continue, they eat and they continue the journey. Later on. This pious individual sees some people

00:45:42 --> 00:46:24
			who are ill, and he kills them. He placed his hand over them made dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala and
they were cured. Then he says to his young Sati, he says to his young servant, that you've seen this
miracle that Allah subhanahu Atila caused to happen upon my hands. Tell me what happened to that
extra roll. Man says Wallachia I don't know, I'm amazed by a miracle. But I don't know what happened
to that roll. No problem. They continue the journey. They come across this river, and they need to
cross this river. And so this pious servant of Allah subhanho wa taala, this alum, this Abbot, he
says, hold my hand and the pot and the servant holds his hand and he steps onto the water, and they

00:46:24 --> 00:47:08
			just walk across the water. The servant, the student, he is amazed by this, he is shocked, he is
amazed. And so this the color the Alim the abbot says to him, you've seen this miracle of Allah
subhanahu. It's either which occurred at my hands. And so tell me what happened to the role. It says
Allah, He, I don't know what happened to that role. The scholar ignores the matter and continues
until eventually they come to a place where they find these three bricks. And the ILM, the IB, the
scholar, the pious worshiper puts his hands on it, and three bricks turn into three bricks of gold.
And this student is amazed and Subhanallah he's obviously greedy. And so he's amazed and you know,

00:47:08 --> 00:47:47
			he wants maybe this gold. And so the pious servant Abbey, the philosopher who Allah says to him,
tell me, you saw this miracle, what happened to the, to the role, and if you tell me, I will give
you some of these gold coins, I will give you some of these gold bricks, one for me, one for you.
And the remaining one will go to the one who knows what happened to the role. And so eventually, the
students said, Yeah, you know what, I'm the one I was hungry, I took that extra role at the
beginning of our journey, and I ate it, and I did not want to tell you and I was embarrassed, and I
kept you the secret and aligned to you, etc, etc. And so the pious worship of Allah subhanho wa

00:47:47 --> 00:48:28
			Taala says, hulless This is where we part I cannot be in your company, you cannot be in my company,
you see in great miracles of Allah subhanho wa taala. You've been in my company, the company of the
righteous and the pious, and you ignored all of that, and you still chose to lie, you still chose to
be deceitful. We have to part you can take all of the gold bricks, they are for you. And so this man
was super elated and happy. And the pious servant of Allah he walked away. This man super happy and
elated. He's got his bricks of gold, and he is moving on his journey. Soon after this. There were
three thieves which see him they pounce upon him, and they kill him. After killing him. They find

00:48:28 --> 00:49:06
			that Masha Allah, he had these three bricks of gold, they are super elated and happy. Each one of
them takes one. And then they say, You know what I think we need to celebrate. So one of us should
go to the village, buy some sweet meats, buy some food, come back, and then we will enjoy it. We'll
sit together and then we'll go home. And so he heads off. But what does he do? Greed got the better
of him. The glitter of the dunya got the better of him. And so he bought some sweet meats for
himself. And the rest of them, he poisoned them so that when he goes back to camp, he'll give his
friends, two of them will eat they will die, and he will take all three gold bars. And so that's

00:49:06 --> 00:49:47
			what he did. In the meantime, his two friends at camp, they plot and plan amongst themselves, that
when our friend comes, we will kill him and we will share his last gold bar amongst ourselves and
Subhanallah he comes back they pounce upon him they kill him. And then they each have the sweet
meats and they all fall down dead. A few days later, the pious worship at the Abbey, the philosopher
Hannah who attacked her, he walks past this area, and he finds that student of his he finds that
follow of his line they did the one who was deceitful the one who was a liar, the one who was not
convinced by the miracles and still chose the dunya over the matches of the hereafter. He was lying

00:49:47 --> 00:49:59
			dead, killed by the robbers and then the three robe is all dead. The first one was slaughtered at
the hands of the other two and the other two who were poisoned online dead and the three gold bars
still

00:50:00 --> 00:50:41
			They around them. And so the AVID with the rest of his students who now joined him, he says to them,
this is the example of the dunya. Brothers and sisters, he said, This is the example of the dunya.
You hanker after it, you will run after it, you chase after it. But at the end of the day, you get
nothing out of it. Subhanallah at the end of the day, you are only that which you have of man,
that's what you take with you to the hereafter, you will chase after the dunya but you leave it to
your kids, and you leave it to those after you Allahu Stein. Whereas, if a person seeks out Allah
subhanho wa Taala then you will get the dunya and you will also get Allah and you'll also get the

00:50:41 --> 00:51:09
			hereafter. But if you only seek out the dunya you will lose out in all other matters. May Allah
subhanahu wa taala grant us insight May Allah subhanahu wa taala grant is understanding may Allah
subhanahu wa taala grant us reflection May Allah Subhana Allah grant us a week up alongside A salaam
aleikum, wa Rahmatullah to doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo

00:51:22 --> 00:51:51
			Allah subhanaw taala revealed the Quran in seven different ways of worshipping Maria Maria Saddam.
She's a woman by herself. She doesn't even have a husband who has ever touched her. And Allah
subhanaw taala granted a child to Medea Marissa? Look at that. He said that how will I have a child
when I'm young since Lee Bashar? How will I have a child whilst I've never ever been touched by a
man? One of the unique things about the story is that it's not like a modal Hapa hasn't heard these
verses.

00:51:52 --> 00:52:03
			Can you imagine that a little hobbit hasn't heard these verses. You became sick from the effect that
this aria ended up having on his on his Mind.

00:53:04 --> 00:53:51
			hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa salatu salam ala Sufi Muslim, Novena Muhammad meanwhile, he also
have big mind salamati Kumar Tula, the foundation of heads, the deeds of our hearts are the
foundations of the heads, we ask Allah subhanaw taala to make it easy for those who are to perform
the worship of heads. And for those who did not go for heads, that Allah subhanaw taala give us all
the opportunity to go for heads and to have our deeds accepted by Allah subhanho tan for the heads
to be righteous for it to be accepted by Allah subhanaw taala It's a condition that some of us might
see it as something that is very heavy heads in Maputo, the righteous heads. This righteous head is

00:53:51 --> 00:54:29
			the condition for the person to enter the agenda of Allah subhanaw taala for the head to be accepted
by Allah subhanaw taala what is the meaning of the righteous heads? The righteous heads has to do
something with our hearts has to do something with the different parts of our bodies has to do
something with our hearts when it comes to the deeds of the hearts for the heart to be sincere for
the heart to have certain acts of worship, that it would show on the outside appearance. And that's
why the physical actions that we do enhance, it has to be according to the way of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to do what Allah subhanaw taala ordered us to do, and to stay away from

00:54:29 --> 00:54:59
			sins and from the things that Allah subhanaw taala forbade us in head and at all times. And to stay
away from the things that negates had. This is how a Muslim would reach the level of having the Hajj
as a righteous head. And again, it's only for few days, and these few days that a person would
endure patience and do the best a person would can do for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala the
reward is something that would stays with the person till the end of this life in the hereafter
fulfilling

00:55:00 --> 00:55:47
			A pillar of Islam of normality Allahu Anoma. He wasn't had given time and someone said, how many
people are performing heads this year? Like what we say every time we go for heads of normality,
Allah NAMA, he said, how few are they? Those who are performing HUD? So the person that said the
first statement was estranged? How can that come from a normal rhodiola, Noma? When there are so
many people physically performing had it normal Rhodiola and Houma. He meant how many people are
really performing heads that are not the same, as we see in numbers. Only few of them are those who
would know the rights of heads. And they would perform heads with the hearts and with their bodies

00:55:47 --> 00:56:35
			for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala alone, that he saw a man having a simple right that his writing
and caring his provisions in a simple way, someone that doesn't have so much provisions or means.
And he said maybe this one is among those who are performing hajj in the right way. Also, when a man
in Mecca, when he saw the people, this is among the early generations of Islam, they were going out
for Hajj, and they used to go out for Hajj in a group in a huge group, the people, all the people of
the city are going out into this journey for head. And he stood there. And he saw this ground and
this great number of people going for hands. And he said, how weak I am meaning that he was not

00:56:35 --> 00:57:17
			among them. And he felt so much regret, and the wish that he will be among these people that would
go for head. And he remembered and witnessed that if this is the regret and sorrow that person would
feel in his heart, that he would see others going to perform this act of worship, he would feel that
regret that he didn't go with them when he did not get to go to the house of Allah and Metka he said
how about the regret when a person would have if he did not get to have this pleasure of Allah
subhanaw taala when he is deprived from the Mercy of Allah subhanaw taala in the day of judgment,
and this is the goal of our acts of worship, our whole entire life is to seek the pleasure of Allah

00:57:17 --> 00:57:59
			subhanaw taala alone is to witness the wisdom of Allah subhanaw taala and to subject ourselves to
the Mercy of Allah subhanaw taala How can we perform a righteous head had to that is my broad
righteous righteousness, as mentioned in the Quran, it's basically comprises the whole religion of
Islam, from the pillars of Eman to the acts of worship to the pillars of Islam, to be kind to others
and to be righteous to others to be kind to the poor, and the needy, and so on and so forth. And
this is something that Allah subhanaw taala mentioned in the Quran. But we need all of these
meanings in hygiene at all times. But there is something specific here. And as we mentioned before

00:57:59 --> 00:58:43
			it had been my brother is the righteous one, the one that has no sin. Also one of the early
generations of Islam, he said that for a person to have a righteous head, he needs to have three
things. The first thing is he needs to have what are what are which they usually translated as
piety. But it's not just piety. It's a special type of fire at the highest level of piety. What
about when a person would leave something that is permissible out of the field that a person would
fall into the Haram not just leaving the non permissible acts, but to stay away from some of the
permissible acts that are closer to the forbidden so that he stayed away far away from getting

00:58:43 --> 00:58:48
			closer and subjecting oneself to what brings the Wrath of Allah subhanaw taala that is water.

00:58:49 --> 00:59:31
			So a person needs water that would make him stay away from sins. Why would I not just to stay away
from haram is enough. Because for those who performed Hajj before and those who are performing
heads, they would see that it's very easy to fall into sins and Hajj, especially when it comes to
dealing with others. So many people from different parts of the world are performing hajj at the
same time. And people are doing things together. And people would need so many different things of
their provisions. And as a result of lacking the piety and the water. People would fall into sins,
raising their voices, arguing with one another, attacking one another sometimes verbally or more

00:59:31 --> 00:59:59
			than that, all of that of because of the lack of patience and not understanding the type or the real
essence of the journey of head. The person that is going for a journey for heart disease not seeking
some form of physical pleasure, some form of physical relaxation, that a person will go for a
vacation for example, a Muslim is seeking the forgiveness from Allah subhanaw taala and it's meant
for her to be a struggle. This is the jihad of women as the prophet

01:00:00 --> 01:00:38
			said Alario Salim said, so that's why we need to witness the wisdom of Allah subhanaw taala and why
we go through these struggles, so that we would witness the wisdom of Allah subhanaw taala so that
it returns into our hearts, with steadfastness on the deen of Islam. So we need this water not just
to stay away from haram. We need to have a barrier between us and what is haram by something that is
permissible that we stay away from, like even simple arguments. We stay away from that and this is
something that needs patients which is something done by our hearts. So what this is the first thing
the second thing is, a person needs his forbearance

01:00:39 --> 01:00:47
			to be patient with others forbearance so that a person would not fall into the sins that would make
him attack that
