So he warns us, number one, it would have to be an enemy of a lot. Number two is Subhan Allah, the
fifth one is the enemy of Allah subhanho wa Taala to is that they would be entering in rows, they would be entering in rose. And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says when they reach it, meaning the fire, their hearing, and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do. This is a powerful verse where Allah subhanho wa Taala is speaking about those who will be cast into Hellfire before they are actually thrown in. They will each have a case a court case, they will have to be proven guilty and they will have to be confirmed enemies so to speak. So what will happen during the case, they will be dealing with Allah subhanho wa Taala they will be asked, What did you
do your deeds and so on, they will make mention of something and perhaps deny certain things. You know, those who committed sin out of weakness would admit that Oh Allah we committed the sin we did this we did that we seek you know, we sought your forgiveness and at the same time we did not do it in order to defy you. We have other good deeds and so on. And Allah subhanho wa Taala through His mercy will probably grant them Jenna, as is in so many iterations of the Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, the Hadith and here Allah subhanho wa Taala is making mention of how those who deny what they used to do, Allah subhanho wa Taala will then seal them out. You're not allowed to be speaking about this. And if you don't change the topic, I'm leaving, and we leave so that at least our ears don't have to bear witness against us. So Allah says here, the faculty of hearing will bear witness as to what they used to do. You
subjected the faculty of hearing that you were blessed with, to listen to something. Your ears perhaps did not want to listen to that, but you forced them to so now they're saying, Oh Allah, we heard this and we heard that we were made to hear this by him or by her. The same would apply to the eyes. May Allah protect us in our eyes And may Allah subhanho wa Taala. Forgive us for our shortcomings. Like I've said, We are human beings, sometimes we may end up looking at things and we are not supposed to. And if that's the case, then we ask Allah for forgiveness and return to Him but a person who is the enemy of a lot defiant, their eyes will bear witness as to what they used to see
what they used to do with those eyes. And you know what? their skins will bear witness testify against them, the skins will testify against them. May Allah subhanho wa Taala not make us from those whose skins testify against us, my mothers and sisters, it is something very, very serious worth pondering. Obviously, we are weak, as I've said.
But you know, when you look at your skin and Mashallah you take care of it and you have the moisturizers and you have the various soaps and the shower gels and everything else and the shampoos and what have you. And we should just pause for a moment and think about Allah I love my dear body and skin so much that you know if I develop one wrinkle and half depressed, but at the same time, what about when that same wrinkle begins to talk, Allahu Akbar. And it says all this is what happened. So it's important for us to take heed, I'm not going to go into details as to exactly you know, there are so many details that you can all think of as to what the skin would bear witness
against. May Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive us barely. We have no option my mothers and sisters but to hope in the mercy of Allah and to see the mercy of Allah and to continuously ask for forgiveness, and that inshallah would be the driving force behind our entry into general the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Because with our own deeds, believe me, we are so weak, the consolation we have is that we will not defy it to Allah. You know, we did not defy him. We did not we did not dare him to say, okay, you told us not to do this now. Okay, fine. We did it. What are you going to do about it stole federal law. That's not our attitude. We don't do that. who the enemies of Allah, once the skins bear witness, they will talk back to their skins, telling their skins, why have you testified against us? So the skins will say, we were made to speak by Allah who has made everything speak in the first place he had created you in the first place, and to him, You are returned.
So Allah Who made you speak before has made us speak now. And Allah Who created you before has now given us the capacity to bear witness against you. So here we are speaking loudly. Allah make our skins bear witness for us and not against us. I mean, my mothers and sisters, it's scary. But at the same time, the hope we have and I'm repeating this, when we seek forgiveness of sins are wiped out completely, no trace, no shadow, nothing gone. Even the skins are made to forget what happened bear witness against the man, we have nothing to say nothing bad to say the only thing we have to say your lips will bear witness, your tongue will bear witness we constantly sought forgiveness of you
or law, your forgiveness supanova. So verse number 22, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and you will not covering or protecting yourselves, lest your hearing testify against you, or your site, or your skins, but you assume that Allah does not know much of what you do. You can only get away with it if you had sought forgiveness, or you would have only got gotten away with it if you had sought forgiveness. But you did not do that. So Panama. And this is where we have hope. What is the hope we have? Allah here we seek His forgiveness. And we've just heard, and I'm sure every one of us who've just heard about how the skins and all that bear witness against people, we start feeling younger, forgive us. Yeah, I don't want my skin to bear witness against me. You know, in this world, like I say we take pride in our skin and so on. If your eyes cannot see so clearly

And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord, it has brought you to ruin
and you have become among the losers. So who are the losers, those who had the wrong assumption about Allah, those who thought YOLO you only live once, so do as you please, you know, do whatever you want, because you're not coming back onto this earth in order to do it again. So whatever you feel like doing quickly get it done. If that's the attitude, it means they have not. They have had the wrong assumption of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And this is what Allah says.
And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. What was the assumption that Allah does not know much of what you do, you're not going to return to Him, your your faculties of hearing and so on, that Allah has blessed you with cannot bear witness against you. That's just a fairy tale. If we continue thinking that way, all those who think that way, would probably then deserve to be reminded or told otherwise one day and penalized if Allah wishes to do that. Remember, penalisation is in the hands of Allah if he wills He forgives if he will do punishers. He is the judge and the owner. He is the owner of the heart. He is the judge of what lies in the hearts. He
has the right to judge, he created the heart. This is why he calls himself Malika Boumediene Owner of the Day of Judgment. The Supreme judge, the one who's ruling is never wrong. The one who knows what is like what lies in the depths of the hearts and what lies behind the vision of the eyes. or lie It's something serious, the Quran has described it. Yeah, Allah Maha in Italian, one or two. So do you know when people look at you, and sometimes we look at the face and we see Wow, this person looks genuine. You know, they look serious, they look good. They look like they're close to us. And you don't know what lies behind those eyes. Sometimes the most innocent of faces could be the most
guilty of the lot. May Allah protect us and grant us not only innocent faces, but make us innocent as well. I mean,
but sometimes somehow a lie we are duped into something we are conned into believing that someone is a decent person when they're not. And this is why it is reported on mahatama. The Allahu anhu according to some narrations has stated that you only know a person if you've traveled with them, if you've lived with them, if you've done business with them, somehow, if you haven't done one of those three, don't say you know them, you don't, you might know a part of them, which they've chosen to show you. But the minute you've lived with them, or you've traveled a nice good distance with them, or you have done business dealings with them, you will then be able to know you can say Look, I know
this person, how do you know that because I used to deal with them for many years. And they never ever did anything wrong. Or I lived with them for so long. And they were really good people and so on. Allah subhanho wa Taala makers from amongst those who those who know us truly can bear witness for us. And sometimes you know, when people don't really know you and they pass ruling and judgment against you, sometimes you've just got to excuse them, you've just got to excuse them people talk a whole load of rubbish about you and die sometimes without even knowing us. And if that's the case, just excuse them carry on life is bigger than that. Alhamdulillah May Allah subhanho wa Taala
protect us and our reputations and may make us really and truly from amongst those who have a good reputation and may grant a success on the day of reckoning. I mean, so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, This is what brought you to ruin and you have become among the losers today you've lost when you were in the world you thought we're going to gain by doing whatever we want. But you didn't realize there was a bigger message regarding where you were and why you were there and you did not take heat. So here you are, you've lost out completely. It's like people who go out and play computer games for the first time without reading the rules without getting a tutorial of knowing how exactly
to play the game. And suddenly you sit there you put money into the slot and before you've even started playing the game. It's the screen flashes at you saying game over I don't know if you felt that I have Game Over game over and you just get so irritated I just put my coins in now. Well it was your fault you should have watched one or two other people play you should have got a tutorial or two. You should have seen what happened and then you should have slotted your coins in and come in and played. You perhaps should have scored
The better score.
But life is not a game. I've just given that example because we're here once. We've got tutorials, we've got messages. We've seen people go before us, we've seen people come and go, we've seen our great grandfather's, or should I say, we haven't seen our great grandfather's, but we've known that they were here and they've died. And where did they go? Wherever they went? We're also going to a similar place. May Allah make agenda? I mean,
and then what? So we've already seen everything, but why don't we take heat? Come on, it's just once and you know what, it's shade bond. And it's all the beauty of this world and the magnetism of the of this entire world that really sends us off our feet, should I say it actually sends us off track? That shouldn't be the case. May Allah Subhana Allah Allah forgive us and strengthen us, may he make us understand and realize why we are in the world. So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, For that you became losers, then he says,
so even if they are patient, even if they are patient, the fire is a residence for them.
And if they asked to appease Allah, they will not be of those who are allowed to appease What this means is now it will be too late. Once you've arrived, at your point of reckoning, where Allah is going to take account of your deeds and what you did whilst you were on Earth. It's too late to say I'm sorry. Now. How can you be sorry, everything is finished, it's over. The life in which you had the right to be sorry, is gone.
And this is why this morning when I was going through the verses, I was thinking to myself from Allah, we are so so fortunate that Allah judges US based on our ending, and never on how we started and never on what we did in the middle. If it was bad, it's just the ending, how you ended. So if my last few words were all love, forgive me all. I really Forgive me, I regret what I did, I really am at your mercy and so on, you'll be judged according to the final moments. You know, it reminds me of a cricket game, or should I say a soccer match. The opposition can score five goals at the beginning. But if you scored six at the end, that little last one, even if it came in the 89th
minute, or even if it came in injury time, you still won the game. See, so some of us are living Mashallah the last few moments of their lives sometimes well into injury time, what that means is the average that Allah has spoken about the blessing lives of Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam of between 60 and 70 years, we've already crossed that in some cases. So at least if we've got good words on our tongues, and goodness, we will be preparing for the era. And Allah will judge us according to how we've died the condition upon death. And this is why it's wrong for us as muslimeen to pass judgment upon someone who's died, if we don't know the exact condition upon which he has died, or
she has died. We don't. So let's leave that for Allah. You know, people say, What is he going to do with this person? But that person? I don't know, I know that there are warnings for bad people. And there are these glad tidings for good people. But what exactly Allah chooses to do to x, y or z? I have no clue. And guess what, if I get too engrossed in that, I'm going to lose focus upon where I am heading or from where I am heading.
So this is why my mothers and sisters, let's be very careful,
you know, to concentrate on our own lives and to try and help others but not be judgmental and start passing rulings. This person is definitely in health. Who knows? How do you know? Are you the owner of
Allah subhanho wa Taala. Protect us May he make us from those who take heed? So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and before I go ahead, he has the right to issue. Warnings, he has the right to say if someone does this, I will do this to them. And if someone does that, I will do that to them. He has the right to do whatever he wishes. Like he says, I can forgive whomsoever I wish certain things I may not forgive so panel it is right. And what exactly has happened to people and so on. It's his right obviously to choose and to decide it is not our right.

We have absolutely no right. Each one will be worried about himself. On the day of reckoning, never seen I've seen myself myself, you know what's going to happen to me. The Quran says on that day, people will run away from their families, their siblings, their spouses, their lovers and everybody else. You Oh, by the way, in fact, they will come up and say, Oh Allah, forgive me, I'm going to give you my son you take him, take him to *, but me, let me go to heaven. Oh, just because he was your child. Allah says, You know what, we only chose you to be a parent of another human being because we wanted a certain thing to come to pass, but that does not give you the right to choose to
penalize him for your crimes. No
Subhan Allah. So Allah subhanho wa Taala says, so if these people are patient, now,
they're waiting now. They need to know that the fire is a residence for them. And if they're asked, and if they asked to appease Allah

And addicted. One of the main points of rehabilitation is to change to make change in your life, what type of change your routine, your friends, your environment, you know, and so on how you
spend your time, all that needs to change. If your friends did not change, believe me, you can have gone to the best rehabs in the world, you come back and just tell them it was a nice holiday man, you know,
come back to square one. But if your friends have changed, and now you have friends who constantly pray, who constantly are talking of Allah, reminding you of goodness, you enjoy your life, honestly, you have a clean life, a beautiful life. And you look at others who are wasting themselves and you tell yourself Alhamdulillah I thank Allah and I praise Him that He has saved me from this type of behavior. So Subhan Allah, this is something great and grand and what what helped us become better was the company that we had, you know, if if a person doesn't really pray much, and all his friends pray, they stop whatever they're doing at prayer time and they decide to pray, believe me, this
person will start praying by default,
because he will be the odd one out. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us good company. immediately after that, and the word or the decree has come into effect upon them, among nations, which had passed on before then, of jinn, and men, indeed, they were all losers. You know, powerfulness is alive reminding us that people before you have gone, they were good, they were bad. So if you are bad, you join those who died before you who are bad. And if you are good, you join those who died before you were good. They all came in. They found they were given a little slot in this world. And once their time was expired, they had to leave just like everyone else left before them. Where did they go they went wherever the others went. The good to a good
Place the bed to a bad place. Allah forgive us.
So this is why this verse is so powerful reminding us to say Think for a moment. Where did they all go? You know, I'm sure I had a great, great, great, great grandfather. Guess what? I don't even know if I know his name.

So Allah subhanho wa Taala says that's what the disbelievers used to do. They used to say don't even listen, don't even go this is this is something different that you're going to be listening to. So what I've got confidence in my in my the gift that Allah has bestowed me with
My brain and everything else. And I keep on asking my maker for guidance. And this is why whenever we start, you know, when I start speaking to people of different faiths, I normally say, to begin with, let us pray that our maker guide us to the straightest path. Oh, you made me guide me to the straight path and keep on asking that sincerely every day morning and evening and you will be guided if you are truly searching for what is the truth it will come. But the problem is when we are not serious, then it doesn't come doesn't come.
And then another thing is sometimes those of us will know that Islam is correct and who know that the Quran is correct and the message is correct. Sometimes we are far away from our own religion in a way that when people look at us, they don't even want to come close to us because they think these Muslims look at how they are not realizing that this is not Islam. This is just an individual who's abandoned Islam. And some people use Islam in order to perpetrate so much of crime.
Allah protect us, really. So we've got crises on all sides. But at the same time, the searcher of the truth will always find the truth. And always find the purity, the contentment, the happiness, and they will feel so good in their hearts that at least I'm worshiping my maker and maker alone. And at least I've got, you know, guidance. And I thank you for sending a book to us. And I thank you for guiding me to that book. And I thank you for helping me in so many different ways. And when I returned to you have mercy on me Subhan Allah so Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about the disbelievers and what they used to say, and they used to accuse Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam of magic
and so on. Then Allah says,
but we will surely cause those who disbelieve to taste a severe punishment, and we will surely recompense them for the worst of what they had been doing. So this is another warning from Allah subhanho wa Taala. For the enemies of Allah, the disbelievers and allies, warning them to say we will, they will taste they will taste the recompense of what they used to do, they will taste it. And Allah says, that is the recompense of the enemies of Allah, the fire for them they're in, there is the home of eternity,
as recompense for what they have our verses were rejected. So they used to reject the verses of Allah, they used to reject the reminders of Allah, they used to reject everything. So Allah says, okay, you made choices. We gave you the ability to distinguish, you chose not to distinguish, we asked you to look into things you didn't look into them, we asked you to do so much. And you didn't, all you did is you came onto Earth, you thought it was just an amusement and a pastime, you know, a place to earn big bucks and to use those big bucks and that's it, you can earn Mashallah. But you need to remember the bigger picture. But sadly, you forgot that there was a bigger picture. So we
gave you the enjoyment of the world now, what do you want?
You always said you will on earth to enjoy. So Didn't you enjoy? Yes, you enjoy it. So now, what are you asking us for? This is Allah subhanho wa Taala. And remember, my brothers and sisters, these are warnings. And when it comes to warnings, you always need to remember Allah is most forgiving, Most Merciful, and His mercy overtakes everything else. In fact, in one narration, the prophets of Salaam also informs us of how the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala is far, far greater than anything else. Subhana Allah, so Allah when he issues warnings, if he wants,
he can just keep it as a warning, he does not need to actually fulfill something that he's just warned about. If he says, look, be careful.
You know, if, for example, we tell our children, if you do this, I will do that, you know, like a warning. If you do this, I'm going to take your toys away. And then if they do that, what would happen?
Well, if Allah subhanho wa Taala has definitely said that something is going to happen when he is truthful. But if he's just issued a warning, then he does not need to fulfill it. It's just a warning. You know, it's just to say, Hey, don't do this. And then if someone does it, he can still forgive certain things. Like we know the issue of Chirac and so on. He said, I won't forgive that. Well, that's him. He's decided that la Kabaddi and whatever he decides, no one can override.
Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive us. Now based on verses of this nature, again, shaman comes to us who are sometimes you know, us who are believers, right? And the shaman comes to us and makes us become judgmental against others, is you know, most people are like this, they claim to be in fire, they're going to be burning, you know, the other day someone died, okay? And I overheard someone else say, there's already snakes biting them. And I'm like, hey, relax, take it easy. You know, there's already snakes biting them. What are you talking about? You know, everything is up to Allah. You cannot say that. That's quite harsh. That's hard, actually. You say, Oh Allah have mercy on me.
You don't May Allah Subhana
Know what Allah have mercy on us. We don't need to become so judgmental. If snakes have eaten them all up does it help us in any way? Do we feel good about it a nice man. It's got to do with us the snakes mustn't eat asked Allah. My mothers and sisters we asked a lot to have mercy on us the day we are loaded into our graves. And we asked a lot to have mercy on us the day we meet in May they be the best of our days. I mean, it was a two out of a mozzarella salad made the best of our days be the day we meet with Allah subhanho wa Taala. So Allah subhanho wa Taala dances.
And those who disbelieved will say on that day, our Lord, show us those who misled us of the jinn and men so that we may put them under our feet that they will be among the lowest,
too late.

Now what do you want to blame others for? If anyone encouraged you to do bad, don't blame them for the bad you ended up doing? Because of their encouragement, they might taste a bit of the punishment as well. But you cannot say that hand over
all the punishment to them. Because at the end of the day, they did not compel you, they only invited you. Like I said, multiple choice. Think about it. It's exactly the same example. You know, you've got five different choices and one is correct. And guess what you actually know the correct answer. And you know, one plus one is two and you know that C says to but how can you still put across for D or for B just to feel good in life? Allow Akbar Allah forgive us, my brothers and sisters. That's what we keep on doing. But remember, human nature makes us falter sometimes. And you know, the B or the A might look quite good. You know, if I say a you probably are getting a PhD. So
you put a but you don't realize you know what? The correct answer was with C.
So we ask Allah to forgive us, may Allah subhanho wa Taala really, truly forgive us.
So Allah says it will be too late for them. Allah says indeed those who have said.
Now verse number 30, is a verse of mercy. It's a verse of goodness, it's a verse of,
you know, glad tidings. Like I said, whenever Allah speaks about punishment and the warnings in the Koran, immediately he speaks about the good and he speaks about how much hope there is, and he speaks about how how much you can still go to heaven and how abroad Heaven is and how eternal it is. So my mothers and sisters here goes,
Allah says, Indeed, those who have said, Our Lord is Allah, and then they remained on a right course, the angels will descend upon them saying, Do not fear, do not grieve, but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. May Allah make us from amongst those.
In the LA vena cava, buena LA, Masako, those who used to say, our ob is Allah, our maker is Allah, our Lord is Allah. And men, they tried their best to remain steadfast on the path. The angels will descend upon them, when, you know the angels of mercy constantly descended the angels that hold the blessings. They constantly descend and the angels have protection. But this is a special message, which includes the angels that will descend at the point of your death and mind May Allah make them descend for us and goodness. And before they take you away, they give you good tidings to say Don't worry, relax, you know, going to paradise wahaca
a lot that happened to us. And this is why some of you who might have seen others in the last few moments, sometimes you know, they say some strange things which confirms a lot of this. They say things so panorama, you know, the angels have come to fetch me and they start smiling and they so happy and they die with a smile. I've seen it Subhanallah I've actually seen it and they die with a proper smile. And they so happy.
Allahu Allah make it easy for us when one does exactly what will happen but to be honest with you, here it is. Imagine the angels come down and say, You know what, we're taking you away. You're going to paradise, the paradise you were promised and why you smile you smile because you know superhard Allah Here we are, we're going man. And Alice promised us and everyone around you is busy crying.
Why? Because they lost a good person. And this is why the famous saying, you know, Oh son of Adam, you came into this world, crying those around you was smiling and happiness.
So live your life in such a way that when you die, you leave
Well smiling, and those around you will be crying at the loss. May Allah subhanho wa Taala help us so that when we pass away, at least people can pray for us in terms of goodness, and not say, you know what, this person's finally gone low. So these are some of the verses Allah subhanho wa Taala says,
indeed those who have said, Our Lord is Allah, and then remained on the right cause the angels will descend upon them, saying, Do not fear and do not grieve, but receive good tidings of Paradise which you were promised.
We were meaning the angels.
Were your allies in worldly life, and our soul in the hereafter.
And you will have there in whatever your souls desire. And you will have there in whatever you request or wish, as a commendation from a lord who is forgiving, and merciful. I want to end by saying, for Allah to tell us that in paradise you will have whatever you wish, it automatically means that in this world you will not have whatever you wish certain things you desperately wish for. Allah will not give them to you. Because Paradise is distinguished. It is different, it is better. If in paradise you get what ever you wish all the time, then you need to know that in this world, you will not get whatever you wish all the time. Sometimes you might, but in a lot of the
cases you won't meet Allah subhanho wa Taala help us pass this test. And may He really make it easy for us.
