In the verses we read tonight, the verse that I have mentioned several times through the month where Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about how he shall continue showing mankind various signs in the horizons and signs within themselves, which will prove beyond any doubt whatsoever that this Quran is definitely the truth. The second point is when someone comes to ask seeking forgiveness regarding what they may have done against us forgive them because when Allah sees that quality of forgiveness in us, He will forgive us also for other sins which we have committed against him. We read verses in Surah to know where Allah subhanho wa Taala was telling that to Abu Bakr Siddiq Ravi Allahu anhu, forgive Don't you want Allah to forgive you? So when we go to someone, we expect forgiveness when someone comes to us, let us learn also to forgive May Allah subhanho wa Taala forgive us all. And it is also very, very important that we stay away from oppressing others because believe me if we
oppress someone, Allah subhanho wa Taala does not forget that he will create someone who will oppress us. When we do wrong against someone Allah will create someone to do wrong against us. Because sometimes you might find the person in the nightclubs, a person, a drunkard and so on, he might be forgiven because he will raise his hands to Allah subhanho wa Taala and Allah might forgive him or her. But then you have others who oppress other human beings, who knows Allah might not forgive them. So if we are from amongst those, what makes us then decide that the others who are in the nightclubs are worse
than us. If Allah once he can let them turn immediately because that sin was committed between them and Allah directly, no third party involved. But here, Allah protect us all. That is why in one narration Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that to backbite against someone is worse than committing adultery. When adultery is committed, the parties are normally together in it. But when it comes to backbiting, one is actually being oppressed to a degree that you don't even give him the chance to clarify his name because it is done behind his back. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us all. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that if he wanted, he could have made everybody very
rich and wealthy, very rich and wealthy, everybody would have been wealthy. Allah subhanho wa Taala owns absolutely everything. And he says, but he did not make us wealthy, not all of us. He raised some above others. And Allah says, All our best self, Allah, Connie, anybody

If Allah decided to dish out and to hand out wealth to everyone, then the whole purpose of life would become a race and people would be oppressing each other. Imagine if Allah gave all of us wealth, then it would not be whether I have billions or not, but it would be how many billions now I have compared to your billions, everyone would be billionaires
May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us. And then Allah says there would be chaos. Why? Because people would begin to oppress others with their wealth. So Allah says that is why he decided to distribute a little bit and he decided to share it out in the manner that he has decided to share it out. Definitely the winner is the one who can be happy with what Allah Subhana what Allah has given him or her, whether it is the amount of wealth you have, be happy, the type of spouse you have be happy and content, whether it is the health you have be happy and content with what Allah has decided to give you the looks you have be
happy and content with what Allah Subhana Allah has given you. Because those who do not have contentment will never achieve contentment, no matter what they get. May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us happy with what he has distributed for us. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala says that look, whatever you have got in this dunya it is just provisions for your pastime in this world. You know, like how if we are going from here to Johannesburg by road, we will take a little bit of lunch just in case we get stuck on the way. And by the time we get there. We don't take so much lunch that now we packed three trailers at the back because we are not going to take four months to get there. But
we take a little lunchbox and we expect and hope that by the time we get there inshallah it would have come in handy. So the same applies we are on a journey from this dunya to the ashira. Why should we amass so many trailers that are not going to be of use to us? Let us rather let other people benefit from that as well. And let us also distribute May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us the comprehension that this is only what Allah has provided us is only provisions for us to live during our little life that is here in the dunya which won't last on average more than 65 years. You know, there are several categories of people when it comes to anger, those who get angry very fast. And when they get angry, it lasts long. Those are the worst of people.
And then there are those who get angry very fast, but they cool down also very fast. Those are also not very good. May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us, then there are those who take very, very long to get angry, but when they get angry, you can never bring them back to that temperature, which you would like. Those are also not ideal. Then you have the best of people, those whom it takes a large and a great effort to get them angry. But once they get angry automatically and immediately they forgive and they come down immediately. May Allah make us from amongst those who don't even get angry. I mean, may Allah subhanho wa Taala make us from among those whose temper is controlled at
all times. Remember, by getting angry, we don't solve problems. If anger could solve problems, we would have bureaus and offices where you would go in, pay a little bit, sit down for half an hour, get as angry as you want, come back and all your problems will be solved. But that is impossible. It does not happen. It will not happen. Like when I was young. I recall my dad telling me that you know, crying does not solve the problem. If crying could solve the problem. We would all sit in help you cry. Allahu Akbar. May Allah subhanho wa Taala solve our problems, but I do beg to differ very slightly cry
Allah subhanho wa Taala will solve our problems may Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us really the ability to cry for his sake and may He solve our problems inshallah. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala continues to mention the qualities, those who stay away from major sin, those who forgive when they get angry then Allah subhanho wa Taala says,

Those who answer the call of Allah subhanho wa Taala and they establish their prayer and their affairs are decided by mutual consultation all their major affairs, they consult those who are closest to them, those who are knowledgeable and those who have a genuine feeling for them. Remember, we are taught to consult when it comes to marriage, you must consult because they will not be Baraka if we just make our own decisions without consulting those who are closest to us. Those who have a genuine feeling for us. Like when you want to open a huge business in an area that you have not been you need to consult first you need to find out what lines will really move in that
particular area. What business will be good when you want to make a move shift city to city it is important that you consult firstly and so on these major decisions. May Allah make it easy for us. But when it comes to consulting, don't just catch any man on the street and say look, we are told as meaning we need to consult please I need to ask you this. The man might be a fool. He might not know anything he might tell you You know what?
You can actually go and become a plumber. Why? Because he is a successful plumber. And he will tell you that you know you will make a lot of money. Yet you have a certificate that has made you a doctor. May Allah subhanho wa Taala not make our doctors plumbers Alhamdulillah May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us all the correct understanding that when you go to consult, consult the experts of the field in question. That is what Allah teaches us.
So when you have a religious question, go to the experts of the field in question. When you have an A question for the taxman go to your accountant, who is the professional in the field, go to the lawyer who might be able to tell you something and go to the best don't compromise May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us understanding number one, so that's the first quality you look at when you are going to consult the second quality. Go to someone who does not hate you, someone who has a genuine feeling for you, because you might go to a professional and because of his hatred, he will intentionally give you the wrong advice. He doesn't have a genuine feeling for you. So we are taught
to bear in mind these two things. Speak to the one who knows that's why in the Quran Allah says first aloe Zicree

marriages. Remember
that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has taught us that the marriage with the greatest amount of Baraka is that marriage which was as simple as possible, nowadays we become so complex and complicated. May Allah subhanho wa Taala
Have mercy on all of us. So Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about how the quality of these people of those who will be entering genma inshallah they would have had consulted before they made major decisions and Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and they spend from the wealth that Allah has given them Subhana Allah. because he will continue forgiving, no problem. Do you know there is a story where there were three very pious people in the masjid. And there was one youngster. So the youngster was told, you know, those people are very pious, the one in the left is still young. The one in the middle is more pious than him and the one in the right is extremely pious. So he said, How can I know the difference between he who is pious and he who is not pious? So the youngster was told, well, they concentrate they concentrate a lot. So he said All right, let me see he went to the first one Salam Alaikum. No response he was involved. This man was involved in his the Quran recitation of the Quran, no

conscious of the pain that came on my hand. Allahu Akbar. Look at how pious he is. So now this is obviously teaching people how to forgive, isn't it? They didn't even discuss that it was a sin. So now this youngster is thinking to himself, whoa, that man on the right must be the most pious. Let's see what he does. He went, he greeted him again, no response. He gave him one solid clap. That man got up and gave the youngster two claps.
So the youngster says, but I thought you were the most pious, he says, someone somewhere needs to stop you clapping people.
So this is why we need to study in Islam. We need to look at what is the best remedy for that particular situation. Sometimes you can forgive people, but if you continue forgiving them who's going to stop that oppression? This is why the Hadith says that if you do not stop an oppressor from oppressing others, then chaos will overtake the whole community and then you will make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And he won't respond because you will be collectively guilty of having allowed an oppressor to keep on oppressing, or keeping on oppressing the rest of the people. So it's important that we balance it as we have been taught May Allah subhanho wa Taala granted to us, then Allah
subhanho wa Taala speaks of yet something else very important point. Sometimes when people marry for many years, they don't have children. So they begin to complain you know, I don't have children. I don't have children I've been making dua Allah is not responding. May Allah grant them children inshallah. Then you have people they start getting children they get boys first boy, second boy said boy, they start complaining. I've only got boys. I need girls, y'all I need girls. So they are also complaining. Now. We are like random girls as well. Now, Allah subhanho wa Taala then some people Allah gives them the children so he gets one girl, two girls three girls, what does he say?
complaining y'all I only have girls with the boys complaining again man like random boys inshallah. Then there are some people who have boys and girls. But as the children grow up, they say Allah these children are so mischievious Yala. They are so rebellious. They have really disgraced me. Why did you grant me children Yala? It was better that I didn't have children. Allahu Akbar. Don't we hear these statements? So who is thanking Allah? Who is thanking Allah subhanho wa Taala May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us happy with whatever decision he has decided for us here he says de la HeMan. Because, yes, if our forefathers said it, and it was correct, we will adopt it and stick by it. But if our forefathers did not teach it to us, and we missed out, then when it comes to us, definitely we will still tend to eat because of it being goodness, may Allah subhanho wa Taala make us not from amongst
those who have so hard hearts, that even when the truth comes to us, we react and retaliate in the same way that these people who are mentioned here reacted and retaliated.
And Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks again, in the Surah Surah Surah, of meaning the adornments of gold, and Allah speaks about gold and silver and lots of wealth in the surah. And Allah subhanho wa Taala says,

Once again, Allah tells us that had it not been for everyone to have transgressed and become a nation solely interested in wealth, we would have granted everyone who disbelieved also lots and lots of wealth, and we would have granted them houses made of silver houses that had roofs of silver. And we would have granted them elevators that they could have gone up to see whatever they wanted, and we would have granted them beds and beddings made of silver and gold with complete adornments and so on. But Allah says all that just provisions of this dunya Allah subhanho wa Taala has much better in store. So he tells us he would have gone to that to everyone but then it would

And with us without even having been granted that we already find ourselves sometimes so engrossed in the dunya that we don't even five five we don't even find five minutes for our foreign Salah. If that is the case, let's promise Allah tonight. Tonight being one of the major nights it's promised Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah, we promise you we will fulfill our five Salah even if it means to spare five minutes at an awkward place by the Allah we will put down our prayer mats and we will pray for your sake Allah. And if we promised that to Allah on a night like this, there is a great possibility that Allah will promise us gentlemen shall
