Mufti Menk – Drop One, Drop Them All

			booni al Islam, Allah hermsen Islam is built upon five. Now this is a metaphor, where the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is using the example of a building, it's built upon five pillars, these
pillars hold up the structure. If any one of these pillars were to drop, that entire structure will
drop. So if you have all five pillars, say for example, we have a massive building. And we have that
building being held up on five pillars, if one of them were to drop what would happen to the
building. So therefore, when we speak about the Pillars of Islam, we're talking about the importance
of every single one of them. And if we do not believe in one of them all we discarded completely, we
		

			would not be able to call ourselves from among those who fall within that building. So it's
important for us to know these things.
