Mufti Menk – Don’t Blame Allah

			Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was
Salam ala rasulillah Allah Allah He was happy to mine. My beloved brothers and sisters we know that
Allah is in absolute control of entire existence. Alhamdulillah he or bill Allah me in All praise is

existence, one might ask, well in that particular case, why does he allow certain things to happen?

and Allah has given his creatures to a certain extent, some form of a, some form of a choice in some
of what they do and some of what they say etc. So Allah has given us a choice within what he has
allowed in order to test us. And this Allah explains in the Quran in a few places where Allah

foreign, we've given him the choice either he would be, you know, grateful, show gratitude by
worshiping Allah alone, following what Allah has revealed or a foreign showing ungratefulness in

a certain leeway, but all of that is within the permission of Allah, within the power of Allah,

created species we as human beings are just one of those species. And Allah says,

			every single child is born, they are only born upon the nature, the nature of recognizing Allah
alone, recognizing that you have a maker, recognizing that the maker is in control, you are going to
go back to the maker, he deserves worship alone. That is called alfetta, for Ababa, who you have

			particular computer, or that particular device. So if you look at the human brain, as a device,
whatever apps you are going to download in that particular device will actually affect what that
device does. And this is why there is a race across the globe, to fill that brain with apps that are
sometimes useless, sometimes beneficial, sometimes that which is going to Excel or help Excel the
humankind and sometimes that which is going to help destroy humankind. So what is totally unnatural
is sometimes sold to us from a very early ages, absolutely natural. So we grow up believing that
this unnatural thing is actually natural. And we don't see any better because we've been
		

			contaminated. This is why the fitrah is called upon. And this is why if you take a look at many
years ago, we had an issue whereby people would say, Oh, this is a scene of * on a on a movie,
for example, it is no under 18. No wonder what happened to all of that. That is a recognition that
that type of * can be harmful to this brain that is receiving applications, that type of
behavior is already known to be harmful Nowadays, people are saying, No, no, it's okay. From a very
early age from birth, it's okay, you can do this you can do that things are changing, why? Why are
they changing? are they changing for the right reasons, if they are changing for the right reasons,
		

			in a certain scope, that might be a good thing. But if they're changing for the wrong reasons, in
the scope that we've just mentioned, then obviously, that is the jostling that I'm speaking about by
the powers that may be in order to contaminate the mind such that it becomes immoral, it becomes
shameless, it becomes that with no values that with nothing to stand for, and it becomes Subhana
Allah with no difference or very little difference between humankind who has been favored according
to what Allah has told us, and what we understand above other creatures, and those other creatures,
and animals and insects and plants and whatever else it may be. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us
		

			an understanding. So it's important for us to know that yes, while nothing happens, except by the
decree, permission and will of Allah subhanho wa Taala. He has let us do certain things as a test
for us. He allows it and Allah says when bad happens on Earth, do not blame me. blame yourself, you
did it, you are the ones who caused issues and problems and the evil effect of your own deeds comes
back to you to haunt you to harm you. And then you want to blame me. What about all the good that
has happened? SubhanAllah. So take a look. For example. Man plays with the DNA, they play with the
genes they play with the cells. On one hand, they want to play with the creation of Allah, they want
		

			to contaminate people they want to consider what's not natural as natural, they want to play with
the ecosystem. They want to contaminate for example, the whatever else it may be around us and they
they the warfare happens that the fighting and killing happens and people say why did Allah allow
this Why bring Allah into that equation? When you know that Allah tells you it's your fault, you did
it, you played with it. Now you will have to live with the consequences of what you caused. This is

			is not writing deeds until you arrive at the age of maturity, when you must ask about your faith,
your religion and the apps in your device. And you must delete some of those apps that are dangerous
and you must recondition your mind and brain in order for it to come in sync with what Allah has
revealed. That's the only time we're going to be able to achieve success is when we resync the
entire system that we have, into or with that which Allah has revealed. This is what Allah wants
from us. We cannot blame Allah for what we've done. Allah says you did it with your hands vahagn

			Allah has instructed us and we feel like we have a choice in that regard. And then we want Allah to
favor us. You know, you have a man who you know, an influential person or a powerful person or
someone who you know, for example, you may depend on for certain things within his capacity.
		

			And every time they tell you to do something, you don't do it, and you insult them and you abuse
them and you say, I don't want and you say that. And then when you want help from them, what do you
expect? Do you really think they're going to help you? We all believe that we what Allah has given
us, we actually don't even deserve because of our disobedience? Are we really regular with our five
prayers? Do we dress in the absolute modest way as instructed by Allah, those two things we cannot
do? And we expect Allah to just sit back and have everything calm, cool and smooth for people who
are not interested in worshipping Him? Not at all. Everything must be smooth, sailing, calm,
		

			relaxed, there must be no hardship, I must have sustenance I must get a job I must pass at schools.
I must do what and what and what And do you know what? I'm not even prepared to dress? According to
I say, I'm not ready. I'm not ready. It's between me and Allah. I'm not ready and I don't want to do
it. And and you know what? It's just between me and Allah, Allah is going to judge me. Allah says,
We've already judged you we already know what calamities are going to strike you as a result of your

know, deep down what the rules are, you know, deep down what exactly Allah wants from you. So
remember, don't make a mockery of yourself. Because at the end of the day, you have no option but to
return to Allah. You have no option but to be at the mercy of Allah, you have no option but to go
back to where you came from. The world can tell you what it wants, the biggest and most powerful can
destroy you, they will also be destroyed. They can actually cause your death they will also die.
		

			They're not immortal. That's what it is.
		

			Your only bet you know, we say the best bet it's not the best bet. It's the only bet that we have
not even a bet. The only option we have is to turn back to Allah. seek His mercy. And you know what
days are not going to be easy. It's only that Allah will give you a sense of content.
		

			Allah will give you a sense of goodness, calmness, contentment, happiness, even with the calamity
that strikes, I know of people who live in refugee camps, who are much more content than people
living in palaces, simply because one is within the punishment of Allah, while the other may be
within the mercy of Allah Subhan Allah. So the whole point of today's discussion, my brothers and
sisters, is to remind us that, yes, Allah is in control. And everything happens by the world
permission, power and decree of Allah without a doubt. But part of that decree of Allah is that he's
given you and i a certain scope of choice, a certain leeway. He's guided us, he's given us a brain.
		

			He's shown us the path and then he said, walk on this path. And all you had to do is walk on it. We
choose not to work on it. And then we say, but it was Allah. people choose to murder they choose to
cause disaster they choose to oppress within our homes. We have disasters with the inflows and
outflows within our homes, we have disasters with brothers and sisters and siblings and parents and
children, whoever else it may be within our homes, we don't even follow the instruction of Allah.
People are complaining, they're suicidal, because their parents don't want to get them married
simply to people who might be of a darker complexion or a lighter one. Allah subhanho wa Taala make
		

			it easy for us and then we want to blame Allah. And then we want to say Allah was unfair, Allah was
unjust. When we were shown the path by Allah given the brain by Allah told and reminded again and
again that we are going to go back to Allah. And yet we just continue on earth like that's not going
to happen. Where were you before you were born? You were nothing zero not even mentioned. I was
nothing completely non existent. Allah says you are nothing mentioned at all similar to the first
verse held

			that regret, what you have to do is you simply have to seek the forgiveness of Allah, and Allah will
forgive you. Be sincere, keep trying, and don't ever come across a law of Allah and look for
loopholes, look for loopholes and try and find Well, you know, I found one scholar somewhere in the
corner of a certain Island who says, Well, this is it is permissible. So anyway, I follow that
ruling. You know, that's what I follow. What you follow, you don't even know Subhana Allah that that
is not even part of the law of Allah Subhana Allah Subhana Allah, many people are saying this
nowadays. Well, you know, I don't follow that opinion. But there's a glaring verse of the Quran in
		

			front of your face. That's not an opinion. That is that is the declaration of Allah, everyone else's
opinions can fizzle out. May Allah subhanho wa Taala, grant us ease.
		

			Well, obviously each person deep down will have to make his choice. And he will have to answer to
Allah indeed. And we're not promoting any form of hate. But rather what we are doing is telling
those who are interested in following the Quran and Sunnah to follow it correctly.
		

			telling those who are interested in turning back to Allah to turn back sooner, rather than later
strengthen yourself. Really, it's a message because life is too short. Those who have amassed
haven't achieved anything those who had good looks haven't achieved anything. The only people who've
achieved are those who have turned to Allah. May Allah grant us a good turning. May He forgive us,
may he strengthen us. May He make us from those who remain on the straight and narrow
		

			May He protect us and our progenies from being
		

			Subhan Allah from being abused in a way that like I said, the devices being downloaded with
applications that are absolutely
		

			destructive.
		

			May Allah subhanho wa Taala make us
