Yeah. So just just one second, Tim. Just
wanna welcome everybody. Call your breakdown chairs. Sisters,
come to the main hall. If you have
chairs, please come to the main hall.
We'll start off with the recitation of the
run. Looking for that. Let's start. And as
well.
I think this mic will
Yeah.
If we go to k. Everyone, like, on
the men's side who are attending to come
closer
to the table and the women's side to
come downstairs. If you're in the main whistle,
please come upstairs.
We're going to start off with having brother
Ahman reciting some in the Quran. And we're
starting.
Throughout the month of,
we have been talking about different aspects of
the life of the prophet.
We started off talking about what a 24
hour day looks in life of the prophet
salallahu alayhi wasalam, how he woke up in
the morning,
what did he do.
Then as midday came, after midday,
walking through a full 24 hours life of
the prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam.
And last week, we then changed it up,
and we talked about the shamal of the
prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam, the physical characteristics.
And we went through the whole body of
the prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam. How was his
hair? How was his forehead? How were his
eyes?
His teeth, his mouth, his body.
And today, inshallah,
we're gonna try to do something that's
very unlikely that we'll be able to do.
The seed of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam, it takes
years to cover.
Sheikh Munasir Janga, he has a podcast
which
is over a 1000 episodes.
Goal tonight is to cover the seal of
the prophets in 45 minutes.
So on one hand one hand, you have
a 1,000
episodes. And InshaAllah, today, we're gonna do a
quick recap
of the life of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam in just 45 minutes.
But the purpose of this is
not to be unjust to the Sirah, but
to give you a taste of the Sirah.
The reality is that many times we know
about different incidents that happen in life of
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. We've heard
about the battle of Badr. We've heard we've
heard about Thayf. We've heard about
Ohad. We've heard about Fatimaqa. We maybe heard
about Hudaibiya.
But
putting all of these in a timeline and
in an order
Is inshallah what we're gonna try do today,
starting from the birth of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam, and then going,
to rasoolah sallallahu alaihi wasallam passed away in
a matter of 63 years.
Usually, in our Safa class, it takes us
a full year to cover this. Twenty It
takes us 26 classes. Now, we're allowed 26
classes.
But, the whole purpose today, inshallah, is just
to give a taste. It'll be a summarized
version of this.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, if you cannot
see until you can move over, but hopefully
everyone can
can see. He was born in the month
of Rabi'ul Awal.
We talked about this before that
the date that he was born,
that's unconfirmed.
The most famous is
the 12th of Rabi'ul. Why? Because he passed
away in 12th of Rabi'ul.
But the most authentic is 9th,
10th,
or 11th.
The 12th is the weakest
of the narrations. The year of and roughly
50 days after the incident of the elephant.
His mother's name was I'm gonna Again, I'm
gonna be flying through this so you guys
will have to, you know, just bear with
me.
Father's name was Abdullah. He passed away. His
mother was from where? Anyone know where mother
was from?
Maheen, you're in the class. Where was the
mother from?
From Medina, a suburb of Medina Kharkuba. So
she was from Madinah,
and that's why the prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam,
he later goes to visit Madinah. He was
from the tribe of Quraish, and he was
born in Makkutu Muqarama. The birth of the
prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam
will take a moment. The birth of the
prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam was a very
miraculous birth. His mother says there was no
pain.
There was no weight. There was no burden.
That even to me, rasulallahu alaihi wa sallam
wasn't a
difficulty
while he was in my womb. You often
hear about mothers complaining about the pain when
they're expecting a child, but the prophet salallahu
alaihi wasallam, his mother said that there was
no
discomfort.
To the point, she was She saw dreams
to name the prophets, allahu alaihi wasallam,
Mohammed. This was a new name at that
time. Currently, in today's day and age, it's
the most famous name, the most popular name
in the world right now.
You can Google it. It's the name Mohammed.
But at that time, it was something new,
and this dream was not only seen by
Aminah but also by Abdul Muttalib.
And when the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was
born So the the family tree that you
have here, this is the lineage of the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. His He was Muhammad,
the son of Abdullah, who was the son
of the Mutrib, who was the son of
Hashim, who was the son of Dunaf, who
was the son of Hussain bin Khilab, bin
Khilab, bin Khilab,
bin Khilab, bin Khilab, bin Khilab, bin
Malik, bin Malik, bin Nadal,
After a nun, there is another link that
goes to
Ibrahim Alay Saat waslam, but the most authentic
is until a none.
When the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was born,
the first initial years, the 4 years after
he was born, he he lived with who?
Who do you live with?
When
Rasoolullah was born, the first 4 years of
his life he
lived with Come on, folks.
Halima Sadia
in the Bedouin tribe of Banusad. And the
reason why he lived there,
so that he learned good character and good
Arabic language, pure Arabic language.
He stayed there The initial contract was for
2 years, but then, Halima, when she saw
the blessing that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
brought with him,
she extended it. She went to Amina and
said, let me keep him for another 2
years.
And you can go into a lot of
detail here. The blessing that she saw was
immediate.
When she came into Makkah, her camel was
the slowest.
But as soon as she took the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam, and the selection of the
Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is actually very unique.
When these women would take children, the purpose
of it was
that when upon returning the child back, the
father would give some sort of bakshish. You
know, it wasn't like in a contract, but
it was expected.
And when all the women came into Mecca,
to the largest city,
they saw this orphan boy, and they said,
you know, what will his mother give? She's
a single mother.
She won't be able to give much. And
they all passed up. The prophet salallahu alayhi
wasalam.
You know, I always think about like how
as Amina, how painful would that have been?
That all the other babies get selected, but
my Muhammad doesn't get selected.
It's like if, you know, you're gonna play
basketball and everybody else is like pick up
basketball and everybody else gets selected, and you're
the last one there, and you're like, please
pick me up. Please pick me up. Please
select me. Please select me.
And Halima Sadia, she comes, she looks at
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, she goes,
do you want? I'll pass.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam did not
get selected.
She goes and sets a condom for 2
years.
Immediately the blessings of the prophets, salallahu alayhi
wasalam, was such that the camel that was
the slowest now became the fasstas.
And the women of the tribe, they asked
Halima, did you buy a new
who, you know, again, they her family is
going through a famine. They didn't have food
for some time. She was not producing milk
because of which she wasn't giving her child
milk.
Her child was crying, but she says after
I took the prophets in my hands,
I was able to nurse him and I
was able to nurse my child and both
of the children were quiet and peacefully sleeping.
And me and my husband are like looking
you imagine they were looking at each other
like, wait.
You hear that? There's no screaming. There's no
crying after so many days. Finally, the children
are fed. And this was all the blessing
of the prophets
On When the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam
was 4 years old, an incident takes place,
which is called shakasadar.
Shakasadar, the splitting of the chest. This happened
roughly 3 times, some narrations say 4 times
in life of the prophet salallahu alaihi wa
sallam. 1, when he was 4 years old
in this incident. Another narration says that when
he was 10 years old. Another narration says,
at the time of,
ikraat Bismarriqal Adikhalak. And the 4th narration says,
at the time of Islam Miraj, where the
chart the chest of the prophet was opened
and the heart was cleansed by the water
of Zamzam.
And it's a lengthy narration where
the brothers of the prophet
the prophet
they come and they tell they tell Halima
that they've Those men have killed our Qureshi
brother.
And she goes rushing out and she sees
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam faith completely
pale.
And Anas Nematic says that, I saw the
stitches,
the marks on the chest of the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,
later on in life from the spinning of
the chest.
When this happens,
Halima returns
the prophet, salallahu alaihi wasallam, to
Aminah.
And you know, in this moment, Aminah like,
kind of gets a bit curious. Before,
you wanted to take him back, And now
before the period is finished, you bring them
back early. What's going on?
And she makes up some excuse. Amina said,
no. No. You have to tell me. What's
wrong?
And she tells her about shuck and something,
splitting in the chair. And Amna says, I
swear about loss of hand that there's nothing
you know, you might see there's some hocus
pocus magic
gin stuff going on my child. And she
says no.
That's not possible.
I saw dreams.
Dreams like
the sun was rising from my womb and
it was covering
the palaces in Sham in Syria, when I
was expecting
this child, Muhammad.
Now, when the prophet of allahu alaihi wasalam
So you guys with me? I may I
may keep recapping the recap. Right? So age
1 to 4, who is he with?
Halima Sadia.
Age 2 to 6, the prophet salallahu alaihi
wasalam sorry. 4 to 6. 4 to 6
in the span of 2 years, the prophet
salallahu alaihi wasalam was with his mother, Aminah.
Right? When I when I go into detail
about this, I just kind of talk about
how in that household, at that time,
Amina only had Mohammed and Mohammed salallahu alaihi
wasalam only had Amina.
They woke up next to each other. They
went to sleep next to each other. I
always say that imagine sometimes,
like, siblings fight for the parents' attention.
Right? You try to get your father's attention
and, you know, your mother's attention.
But he had the full attention
of of y'all, of Amina.
And the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was
completely dependent. He didn't have anybody else to
feed him. He didn't have anybody else to
comb his hair. He didn't have anybody else.
Again, we're looking at the age of 4
to 6. 4 to 6, the child is
still very dependent on its caretaker.
When the prophet, salallahu alaihi wasalam, was 6
years old, Aminah decides
to take the prophet, salallahu alaihi wasalam, to
for two reasons. Number 1, like Maheen said,
she originally was from
Madinah. And number 2, the prophet salallahu alaihi
wasallam's father's grave, Abdullah was in Madinah.
So, to fulfill both of these tasks. The
prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam was stayed there for
about a month,
and in this time, there were 3 people
in this caravan, the prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam,
Amina, and Umma Amin. Barakah Umma Amin,
she was with him. After about a month,
rasulullah salallahu alaihi wasallam then begins to return
back to Makkah.
As they're coming
They're leaving Madinah
at a place called Abuwa,
Aminafazil.
And you can just imagine what it was
what this was like.
A
a person is they lose their parents.
It's not supposed to happen.
It's very hard.
And the prophet's law, what I was saying
so like, if you may Allah protect us
may Allah protect our loved ones, ever feel
that I have lost somebody and nobody understands
my pain
that understands this that the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam went through a very similar pain at
the age of
just 6 years old.
And you can imagine the prophet sitting next
to his mother, and maybe just begging her
not to leave him.
Maybe saying to her that, you know, who's
gonna tuck me in? Who's gonna comb my
hair? Who's gonna take care of my day
to day needs?
And Amina, she actually said some very powerful
words.
Right? I have the whole in our in
our suffer class,
which you know, slides. But she says to
him that, look, every new thing
becomes old. Will become old. And every person
must die. Now, it's my turn and it's
my turn to go, but my name will
carry
on because I have given birth to a
very
immaculate child.
My name
I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die in this
desert where there's nothing around. If you see
the picture of, there's literally
nothing there. After Aamina,
1400 years later on the other side of
the globe because of the child that she
gave birth to.
After this, the prophet
so from 4 to 6, he lives with
his mother Amina. He then goes and lives
with his father, grandfather Abdul Muttalib.
With Abdul Muttalib, Abdul Muttalib would give him
special care. Some narrations say Abdul Abdul Muttalib
at this time was very old. He had
around 16 children of himself.
One narration said, he was a 100 plus
years old, but he always gave special attention
to the prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam, even though
Abdul Muttalib was a very powerful man.
He stays with Abdul Muttalib from age
6 to
8. 6 to 8. So, 1 to 4,
Halima.
4 to 6,
Aminah.
6 to 8, Abdul Muttalib.
When the prophet asall asall asall wasall wasall
wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall
wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall
wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall
wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall
wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasall wasallib
passed away.
But before he passed away, he calls his
son Abu Talib,
who wasn't that rich,
but
he was a full brother of
Abdullah.
Right? So Abdullah and Abu Talib, they were
4 brothers.
Other children that Abdul Muttalib have, they were
half brothers.
And he says to Abu Talib that after
I die, I'm giving you Muhammad to take
care of.
The way you've seen me take care of
him, you have to take care of him.
At the age of 8, the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam then goes to stay with,
Abu Talib.
Now,
let's go on. Right. So foster mother, Halima
Sadia, spent 4 years Halima Sadia.
My mother Amina passed away in the.
Age at that time of the death was
6 years old. Grandfather
Abdul Muttalib Abdul Muttalib passed away when the
prophet was 8 years old. He then goes
to live with
when he is when the prophet is 12
years
old, so 4 years after, he lives he's
living with the prophet Again, Abu Talib's family
household is a little bit different.
We said that how Abdul Muttalib was older,
Abu Talib was
children himself. He had a son called Talib.
He had a son called Jafar. He had
a son called Ali. He had a daughter
by name, Umahani. Right? These were all the
children of Abu Talib. Yet, the prophet got
special attention for Abu Talib.
You
know, sometimes what happens is that our we
adopt a child and we have someone living
with us,
but we always give our children preference over
them. In this case, Abu Talib
always gives
special attention to the prophet, alayhi wasalam.
Now when the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
was 12 years old,
Abu Talib is going on a journey on
a on a caravan on a on a
in a business trip to Syria, to Sham.
In this business trip,
my
son, Mohammed, he looks at me and goes,
where are you going? I go, I'm going
to the masjid. He goes,
can I come? My answer is always the
same, no.
And he goes, please let me come. Please,
please, please, please, please, please,
please. And the reason I say no is
to get this please out of him that
I really wanna go to the masjid.
And he throws this like little
tantrum.
And this what the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam, he then kind of throws tantrum. He
said, look, let me come with you.
And finally, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam,
he gets to come with Abu Talib.
Outside of Sham, outside of Syria, there was
a rest stop and there was a priest
there. This priest, he sees the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam, and he goes and talks
to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. He
sees some signs, he talks to the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, and then, he says
to Abu Talib. He goes, Look.
From what I see,
your nephew has a bright future ahead of
him.
He will be a messenger of Allah Subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
My suggestion is that you don't take him
to Sham, but take him back to Mecca.
Take him back home.
Because the way I figured out who he
is,
if the people of Sham figure out, the
Jewish people of Sham, they will try to
hurt him.
Take him back.
So now
now if you look at this, one thing
I always mentioned is that, at this age,
Abu Talib,
somebody tells him that your nephew will be
a prophet,
when the prophet was just 12 years old.
Babu Talim himself What He Did he accept
Islam?
No.
Even though he knew.
This was before the hype. It was before
becoming Islam was like the cool thing. He
knew all the way when the prophet was
a young boy.
Now, when the prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam was
15
Right. So he said,
12? What happened at the age of 12?
The trip to Sham, and he meets the
Buhairah. When he was 15 years old, a
war in Mecca breaks out. This war was
called the inappropriate war. We won't go into
too much detail. It was between Mecca and
Taif. It lasted for 5 years.
War lasted for 5 years.
And it was
because one person
unjustly killed another person.
So one person died,
and because of this, 2 nations go to
war and 100 of more people die.
Made no sense. And that's why the war
was called Harb al Fijjar, the inappropriate war.
Everything The sacrilegious war. Everything about it was
wrong.
20 years old, they actually met on the
battlefield for 5 days. The 1st day the
prophet did not attend. He did not go
to war.
On the second day, people came to his
uncle and said that, look, you have to
send him. Why? Because our children are going,
and every able-bodied person is going. Why is
he getting to sit out? The prophet, sallallahu
alaihi wasalam, on the second day he went,
and all he did was he found arrows
and he made sure the arrows were still
usable and he came and gave it to
his uncles.
When the prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam was 20
years old,
when he was 20 years old,
a pact
took place. A a oath took place, which
is called half alfudl. The the
righteous pact. And this pact was basically the
Quraysh, who were not Muslim, they got together
and they said, anybody that gets oppressed,
we will help them.
And we will stand up against the oppressor
no matter who that person is.
If that person is one of us,
we will still stand up.
Basically, this was
a service project that the Quraysh were doing
to help the community,
and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he really
valued that. And he said, today, like later
on in his life when he was a
when a prophet, when he's a leader in
Mecca Madinah, he he says, today if they
call me towards something similar, I would attend
it.
Basically, this is the prophet telling us, wherever
good is happening for the community, whether Muslims
are doing it or non Muslims are doing
it, you should support it.
Now,
when the prophet, salallahu alaihi wasalam, was 20
years old,
he started working.
The first job the prophet, salallahu alaihi wasalam,
had was earlier. He was a shepherd. And
he Rasool Allahu alaihi wasalam mentioned that every
prophet that was sent was sent as a
shepherd. When he was around 20 years old,
he starts his second job, and that was
he was a broker.
The broker basically what he would take somebody's
wealth, do business with it, and share the
profit, what we call profit sharing,
with the person who invested.
So let's say, for example, there's somebody who
has money lying around, and they don't have
time to do business. He would take the
money from them, go buy and sell whatever
profits were made. He would split this.
Initially, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
he had a business partner by the name
Abu Saib,
and we speak Whenever I mention this, I
say that the unique thing is Abu Saib
and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, they had
the same priority, and the priority was, no
matter what, in our business dealings, we're gonna
be completely honest. No
cheating, you know, no scamming.
Whatever it is, whether we bring home 1
or 50 dinars,
that's it. We're not gonna cheat and bring
home a 100. And this shows you the
importance of whenever you go into any relationship,
whether that relationship with a person,
as a friend,
as a coworker,
as a family member, or inshallah one day,
to get married, you have to make sure
the priorities
match. And this is what the priority of
the prophet, salallahu alayhi wasallahu alayhi wasallahu alayhi
wasallahu alayhi
wasallam
wasallam
wasallam
wasallam
wasallam
wasallam
wasallam would have to go to people and
tell people, like, you know, let me borrow
money. Let me use your money. You know,
we will do business. Kind of, you
know, doing a giving a sales pitch.
But then because of their honesty, the word
began to spread
within.
And now, there was a line
where people would come and say, I got
some extra money. Abu Sa'id, Mohammed, can you
guys do business on my behalf? And he
says, well, do you want I have to
take care of so and so's business, so
and so's business. Then
somewhere down the line, we'll we'll get to
you.
Amongst this, there was a lady by the
name of Khateja.
Khateja binteh Huaylin.
She was twice married before, and her
her father Huaylin
was rich as well.
So when her 2 husbands passed away,
she inherited money from them and from her
from her from her father as well. The
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam initially started working
for Khadija
locally
within Madinah within Makkah.
Every time
the big caravan would come of going to
Sham, the big trade show,
Khadija asked the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasalam, can
you go for me? And the answer was,
no.
Why couldn't he go?
Why couldn't the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasalam go
to the big caravan? It was a big
trade show.
Come on.
We just went over
this because of what happened in Sham. Because
the boy that says, don't let him go
to Sham.
So now, every time he says, I wanna
go to Sham, Abu Talib is like, nope.
You're not going to Sham.
I already know how that story goes. We're
not doing that.
Now,
Khateer Adhanash, she actually has a meeting with
Abu Talib.
And she says, okay. What will it take
for you to send your nephew to Sham?
So, he goes, Look. I'm worried about his
safety.
She goes, Fine. If you're worried about his
safety, I will send my bodyguard,
Masura.
I will send Masura with the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam to protect. His job will be
just to protect the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
So anything else? Abu Talib goes, well, we're
taking more of a risk
than any other person.
I think that the percentage that he gets
should be double.
As the normal going value of a broker
is 20%,
he should get 20 per 40%. Why?
He's risking his life?
Khatidullah said, done. Hoggia.
Let's do it. Even though it's I'm losing
out money, I know
because of his honesty,
at the end of the day, I will
make money.
So, double the price.
Now,
Maysera,
he goes with the prophet salallahu alaihi wa
sallam
to
Syria.
They do business.
On the way there,
they stop in
Busra once again.
When they stop in Busra, this time the
priest that was there,
the
was a different one. So the title
was like the great imam,
but it wasn't the same one. It was
a different one.
8 years
sorry. Not 8 years, but it was
13 years later. So it's a different.
This, he sees the prophet
and he says to Maysera,
he says, who is this man?
He goes, his name is Mohammed.
Where is he from? From Makhtar, from Quresh.
He said, that man right there, he's gonna
become a prophet. And He said, that man
right there, he's gonna become a prophet.
So what what are you talking about?
So the narration says that the he
says that that tree right there, the only
people that have sat underneath
that tree were prophets.
That particular tree, the only people that have
sat underneath it were prophets.
He will become a prophet.
Maysera says, after this, I started to watch
the prophet salallahu alayhi salam very closely.
A while.
We were traveling,
and I'm sweating its heart.
But I look at the prophets of law
with him, and he's relaxed, chilling.
And
No
sweat. And I look up, and I see
there's a cloud shading the prophet, salallahu alaihi
wa sallam,
as he walks.
See that we do business in Syria,
and notice how honest he was. Everything
clear cut.
We get back to Sham,
and before sending me home, even though I
was a slave, even though I was like
a lower person,
he calls me and he does that, you
know, the accounting
with Khadija in front of me. Making sure
that everything that he said is a 100%
true.
After this,
when the prophet wasallahu alaihi wa sallam was
25 years old,
Khadija al Anha
was the one who proposed to the prophet,
salallahu alaihi wa sallam.
Again, a very lengthy story. She has one
of her friends go to the prophet, salallahu
alaihi wa sallam and propose on her behalf.
And, you know, it actually goes that when
this lady goes to the prophet, salallahu alaihi
wa sallam, if you ask the prophet, salallahu
alaihi wa sallam that, why don't you get
married?
And, rasulullah salallahu alaihi wasalam says,
number one concern that our youth have today,
I can't afford it.
Crystal Banquets Hall cost us 30, 40, 50,000.
How am I supposed to afford that?
The matching, you know,
Shirvanis
that we have,
the gifts that we give, all these stuff
is not cheap. I can't afford that.
And Khola
Mintakim,
who again was talking to prophet she says
to prophet
what if there's somebody that doesn't worry about
your money?
Okay.
And they're willing to get married to me?
Yeah.
Says who?
Khadija Mintukhoy.
Now whenever I mention this, I say there
are a few things here. A lot of
times, through tradition and culture,
we always think that it has to be
the man who
gets down on one knee
and proposes to
the girl.
But here you see the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam's first marriage, it was actually
Khatija Radahnaha who proposed to the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam, which teaches us a lesson.
You know, a lot of times people are
very picky,
or they're looking for this as well or
I'm waiting for him to propose to me.
And waiting for him to propose to me
then turns your hair
white.
You now have gray hair and then the
age is gone and the halas. It's a
complete waste.
Khateer Adhanah, when she sees the right quality,
she says, look, I'm not waiting.
Let's go get married.
And she proposes the prophet salallahu alaihi
wa sallam accepts. And at that time, Khateer
Adhanah, she was 40 years old.
Now,
reconstructing of the Kaaba takes place. And this
is where the Kaaba the initial shape that
the Kaaba used to be in,
it's changed
and we have the current shape that the
Kaaba is in. Now, you don't know what
shape was the Kaaba in before.
What shape was in what shape was the
Kaaba initially?
It was like a bullet shape. Like a
bullet shape. One side was rounded
and it was changed multiple times. In the
time of the prophet was made into a
cube shape. Later on in the time of
Abdullah bin Zubair, it was put back into
a bullet shape that Hajjaz bin Yusuf, he
changed it to a the current cube shape
and ever since then, it's been that shape.
When this incident happened, the prophet
he gives a solution. The Quraysh are about
to go to war on who will place
the black stone in its spot. A stone
that we believe has come from that brought
Admal Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam brought from Jannah, and
it has a quality of pulling in a
person's sin.
When the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
before he when he when he before he
received the first revelation, the first revelation happens
when the prophet was 40 years old. Now,
question comes,
what else was going on between
2540?
So far, we only have one major incident,
which is the reconstructing the Kaaba. What else
is going on in this type?
Focusing on
his family.
The Prophet's law was had how many dollars?
$4, mine? $4. And he had a hominidsunns.
4 dollars.
And he had hominids. And he had hominids.
And
he had dreams.
Not an
order, but okay. The Aldous order is,
then Ruqaiyah,
then Umulkuthum,
and the youngest was Fatima.
And the sons were
Qasim was the eldest,
Abdullah,
and then Ibrahim was in
Madi Abdul Munawar. These were the 7 children
of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
My personal opinion, I think every Muslim must
know this. If you know the names of
your cousins, then you should know the names
of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. You know,
the children
of
the prophet the wife of the prophet the
wife of the prophet, umma Hazal mumineen.
That question is gonna come as well. Right?
So if you wanna Google it, go ahead
and Google it.
Who what are the names of the wife
of the prophet, salallahu alaihi wa sallam? You
have some time before I ask that question.
Now, so this is what the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam was focusing on. He was
focusing on on his own children during this
time. When the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
is 40 years old, he begins to choose
seclusion,
alone time.
Prophet as you know, mainstream as this word
may sound, he was meditating.
You know, we talk about meditation and then
people think about,
Like, that's that's for one religion but in
our religion as well, there's meditation as well.
There's murakaba.
There's muhasaba.
These are all Islamic concepts
of taking accountability
and reflecting,
and stopping, and cutting out the noise that's
around you.
This is meditation.
And the prophet,
he would go to the cave, find seclusion
alone time.
Time. We have 15 minutes, and we have
a full life of the prophets of the
last time to go.
The prophet here,
the famous incident
of
comes, where the angel
comes, he hugs the prophet
says, the prophet
says, I don't know how to read.
My computer has a mind of his own.
This is the first revelation. He comes down.
He goes to a wife and he says
to his wife,
cover me. Cover me. Something strange has happened.
She goes to her cousin,
this happened with my
is the angel that came to Musa alaihi
wasallam.
He said, I wish only if
I
live a life and I have strength and
power
when your people kick you out
you talking about? My people kicking me out.
They love me. They call me Asadiq Amin.
They call me the truthful one, the honest
one. How why would they kick me out?
And the prophet says,
every single profit that came with this message,
their people have met them
with hostility.
And that's usually one thing. Whenever you try
to bring spirituality
in your life, the people around you will
never be, yeah,
But they will meet you at hostility.
They will question what you're doing. They will
try to convince you not to do this.
Why are you wearing this hijab? Why do
you have a beard on your face? Do
you want Why are you spending so much
time in the masjid?
I've had people come to me and say
that their family members tell them to go
and do haram.
Why? Because you're young.
This One of the youth here at the
masjid said to me that my family members
tell me to go have illegitimate relationships
because I'm young. Live the American dream.
Right? So this is what,
welcome to the prophet
Now, this was the first revelation after this
came,
Surah Muzamil Surah Muzasir,
then the beginning verses of, Surah, Qalam. The
5th revelation was you don't know what the
5th revelation was? What was the 5th revelation?
The 5th in order was? No 5th. 5th.
Yeah. So the 5th and this was the
first complete to be revealed. The
other ones are small
portions.
The first people to accept Islam,
right, then so we talk about.
The first person to accept Islam
was his wife, Kedija.
You know, when the prophet he's telling me
when he receives this revelation, he's scared, and
he goes to his wife that look, this
has happened to me, this has happened to
me, she says to him, I promise to
Allah Allah will not destroy
you.
You know why?
Not because you're handsome.
The prophet always said was very handsome.
Not because you're rich.
Not because you come from Quraish.
Not because of something personally in you.
But she says, the reason why Allah will
not destroy you because you take care of
other people.
You
host people and make them your guests. Anybody
else's problems, you make it your problems.
You take care of the orphans. You take
care of the widows.
And this right here, who at this time,
Islam wasn't there. This is the beginning stages
of Islam. The eyes of Allah. And this
is telling us, you wanna check your value
in the eyes of Allah. Ask yourself, how
much do I serve others?
World. Have you paid your rent today?
Then after this was Zay bin Hayasat, this
was adopted son of the prophet, salallahu alayhi
wa sallam. Then you have Alib al Mittarib,
who talked about before, the cousin of the
prophet, salallahu alayhi salam. And then you have,
Abu Bakr of Sadiq Radha, the friend of
the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam. And the
prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam says, that Abu Bakr,
when I preach Islam to him, no questions
asked.
No questions. He said, everybody else
objected,
if, ands, but, what about this?
Awakar,
I said it. He believed it. Now,
let me actually go back.
Initially, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he
invited only the people that were around him.
Close family and friends. This was on a
one to one basis. When you meet somebody,
you talk to them about it. The prophet,
the first person to reject the prophet, and
so we talked about the first person to
accept that was Kati. The first the first
person to accept him was his wife
and family member, and the first first person
to reject him was also a family member.
Anyone know who? Who was the first person
to reject the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam?
Abu Talib. Abu
Lahab was the first person, the uncle of
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
After this, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, in
the 4th year, he climbed up the mountain
Safa and he calls people,
open me.
This is where the torture of the Muslim
begins.
He calls out to the Quran. He said,
look. The way that If I were to
tell you that on the other side of
this mountain that you cannot see. If I
were to tell you an army is advancing,
would you believe me? And they said, yes.
Absolutely.
Why? Because we don't know you as a
liar.
So if you tell us, we're gonna go
get ready for war. So he says, the
way that you can see on the other
side of this mountain, you cannot see on
the other side of this dunya.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has told me what
will happen. There's jannah. There's jahannam. Believe in
1 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The first person to reject the prophet salallahu
alaihi wa sallam openly
was also
abulahab. And this is why Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala says, tabbat
may be cursed. Tabbat yada abilahabiyuwatab.
Twice. Why? Because he rejected the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasalam 2 times.
The torture of the Muslim begins from year
number 4. It goes on for 3 years.
The persecution of Muslim for mainly for 3
years.
During this time, the first migration in Islam
takes place and they go to Habshah, to
Africa.
This was 12 men and 4 women. It
happened in the middle the middle of 5th
year of Nabooah.
Again, at this time the prophet salawuah was
almost 45 years old. The second migration happens.
This time,
83 people went, and 18 women. 883 men,
18 women. Again, this was When this happened,
the Quraysh sent people.
They sent,
Amar bin Az to go and get these
people back. Amar bin Az, he meets with
the Najashi, the king of Ethiopia, and he
says, look, these people are coming to live
here. They don't believe in your faith. They're
not Christians, and they don't believe in our
faith as well. You know what? There's a
new faith.
And then Jashi says, okay.
Before I hand them over to you, I
wanna hear what they said.
And he calls
one of the He calls the Muslims and
from them, the leader who speaks up was
Jafar al Dinwala.
Jafar, we spoke of him before, the son
of Abu Talib.
Jafar al Dinwala says,
okay.
We were And the description that he gives
is actually so unique because
that same exact description
falls
into us,
this generation, word for word.
He said, we were a people of ignorance.
How many high school dropouts do we have
today?
He said that,
the weak was always oppressed by the poor.
In our world, the the rich get richer.
The 1%
get even richer. And the poor people, their
voices don't get heard.
He says that
we gave more respect to our animals
than we gave to our
children.
Today's
In today's day and age, the news headlines
read, person dies, leaves their dog
$1,000,000.
Some of the dogs here in America live
a better life
than people live back home.
Exactly. Word for word.
And then he carries on, but then he
says,
after this, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala sent us
a guide
who took us out of that darkness and
brought us into
light.
We followed him.
Our children. We respected we changed our way.
We only worship on Allah SWANA.
And because of this, our people started to
persecute us. And he
explains
it. Omar bin says, okay. Okay. Wait. Wait.
That's one thing. The next thing,
they actually say something bad about Islam
and they say something bad about Mariam Alayhi
Salm. Again, the king, Najashi, they they were
Christians.
He begins to read.
He begins to read the verse of.
And as it's
reading, he looks up when he's done. And
Najashi's beard,
the king,
this African,
his beard is completely soaked in
And he
says, that light that's coming from there,
there's 2 windows.
The window on the right,
that is
what's in the bible and the window on
the left
is what's in the Quran.
The source
is the same exact thing.
They're just coming from 2 different paths.
He says, this is
the Bible in this Quran.
And he says to Umar bin Az that
you take back all your gifts, These Muslims,
they can stay here, and he actually set
aside a stipend for the Muslims that every,
you know, month, they will get a portion
from the kingdom,
just for being here, just for living in
our in in the kingdom of Najashi.
Now, during this time,
2 people accepted Islam.
You have the acceptance of Islam in this
roughly in the 6th year of Umar bin
Khattab radiya'alaal, and we spoke about Umar bin
Khattab in our in our, which you all,
When Umar al Adhan saw the Hamza accepted
Islam, he's like, you want these Muslims are
now gaining strength.
I have to go and do something about
this.
And he goes to
Naul Bila, kill the prophet salallahu alayhi wa
sallam. Very famous story. He then goes to
his sister's house. He then he sees them
reading Quran. He goes to the prophet salallahu
alaihi wasallam. He accepts Islam. So this was
the 2 great warriors accepting Islam. In the
7th year,
the boycott becomes the boycott begins. How old
the prophet salallahu alaihi was in the 7th
year?
Quickly quickly quickly.
47 years old. The boycott, it actually
began
by Abu Talib. Not to boycott but Abu
Talib said that you want
Tension in Mecca is very high.
The Quraysh came to Abu Talib and said,
Look. Either you give him up over to
us or we're gonna kill him.
Right? You give him to him or we'll
find a way and we'll kill him.
And Abu Talib said, Look. Tension in Mecca
are very high. I'm just gonna take him
and we're gonna go lay low
outside of Makkah.
And they went to a valley which is
called Sheyba Abu Talim, the valley of Abu
Talim.
And while they were there, this boycott was
put into place that nobody should talk
to Banu Hashim. Nobody should buy and sell
from Banu Hashim. Nobody is to
marry into Badu Hashim,
basically cut them off.
This boycott lasted for
a total of
3 years
until
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam until the 10th
year of the prophet.
In that final time,
that This is what Jibreya Salam has told
me. Abu Talib goes to the leaders of
praise, namely Abu Jahl, and says to Abu
Jahl that, let's make a bet.
Let's make a deal.
Muhammad has told me
something. And if what he has said is
not true, I will come and give you
Muhammad.
But if what he has said is true,
this boycott ends now.
We come back into Mecca.
We go back to a normal way of
life.
So what what's the condition?
So that the treaty that the the the
charter that it was signed, it has been
destroyed. And when they opened the Kaaba, and
they took out the charter, termites had ate
all the writing except for the name of
Allah and the name of the messenger of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. This brought it into
the boycott. This leads us to what year?
Year number 10. Year number 10 is known
as the year of sorrow. The year of
sorrow,
The prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam,
first off, his uncle Abu Talib passed away
and that too
without
accepting Islam. The prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam
says, so Abu Talib, look, come and say
it in my ear.
Nobody needs to know.
Abu Talib
says,
all people say.
If I accept Islam, what people say? They'll
say that, oh Abu Talib, he fell into,
you know, his nephew's words.
You know, a lot of times this lokea
kahenga becomes very dangerous.
We worry about what other people think and
we leave that which is good.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
You don't get to choose who you want
to accept Islam, but Allah subhanahu wa'anhu chooses
who He wills.
Shortly after this,
Khateer Adhana passed away.
These are two main pillars.
When these two pillars pass away, after this,
you know, wherever you hear people getting physical
and hurting the prophet physically,
it happened in 10th year because Abu Talib
was no more and Khadija was no more.
You know, when Khadija passed away,
the prophet
actually
didn't leave his house for many days.
And this tells you what?
The prophet married, and we actually have a
program tomorrow after Zuhr talking about
domestic violence, and how the prophet approach
was to marriage.
It wasn't that he was just married and
that's it, but he actually had a deep
love for his wife, that his wife wasn't
there. She passed away. And it's not like
he throws a party, your freedom, but he
actually
stays home in sadness, mourning
that my wife is gone.
You know later on when we get to
this, at the time of Fatimaqa, when the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam comes back to
Makkah to Muqarma,
one of the nights that he spends in
Makkah
was with By the graveside of Khadija.
And this breaks your heart. It makes you
like cry
that she is no more, but the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam goes in, spends his
night next to the grave of of his
wife, Khateer Adhanha.
In this year, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
goes to Taif, and Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
says, this was the hardest day in my
life
with the people of Taif. Not only did
I go their hopes that my people didn't
accept, maybe these people will, but they rejected
me. And then
not only did they rejected me, but they
had
the hooligans of thai.
The the good for nothing kids
curse and then finally began to stone the
prophet salallahu alaihi. And I You know, we
hear the story so many times that we
become desensitized
to how serious
this was. If I were to take something
and throw it at you, it would hurt
and maybe pierce your skin. And imagine that
being a stone. Imagine so many kids throwing
stones at you. The narration says that the
prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam, he was bleeding the
best of mankind.
Habibullah was bleeding head from toe
to the point that
his footwear
were covered in blood,
and the friction on the sand
was gone, and he would fall to the
ground.
And the kid would say, stand up. Come
on.
There's more to go. And they would throw
stones at the prophet, salallahu alaihi wasalam. Zayd
bin Haritha, the adopted son of the prophet,
salallahu alaihi wasalam, would come jump in front
of him, and he would push Zayd away.
They look, they they don't have a problem
with you. They have a problem with me.
These stones aren't meant for you.
Until finally,
the prophet, salallahu alaihi wa sallam, reached the
outskirts of
of,
life.
And he rested under a tree.
And the narration Zayd al Adhan, he may
mentioned this that he had his hand
his face in his hand,
covered in blood, face in his hand, and
he was sobbing.
In this time, Jibril alayhi sata waslam comes
down, and Jibril alayhi sata waslam says, you
Rasulullah,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala saw everything that just
happened.
And he has sent with me the angel
of the mountains. If you go to Thayf,
Thayf is in a valley. We went to
Thayf this last spring. It's between mountains.
It says, you give
the command,
and this angel
will bring this mountain together,
and they will be no more.
And the prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam raises his
hand.
Now, I'll be honest, if somebody hurt me
like that,
man, I'm gonna be making a list full
of du'a. I'm gonna wake up to a
100 and make du'a against you. Just joking.
I won't. But,
the prophet raises his hand,
and he says
some of the most iconic words.
He says, oh Allah,
I complained to you.
I complained to you not about them,
but I complained to you about my own
weakness. Somewhere along this, I fell short, and
I didn't plan properly, and I made mistakes.
He says that,
who have you left me to?
An enemy that treats me like this?
And he talks to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And he says to Allah that, oh, Allah,
as long
as you are happy with me,
As long as you're happy with
me, it's okay.
I'll do it again.
That's all that matters to me. What they
do, it doesn't matter. As long as you
are happy with me tomorrow,
I will do it again. And I will
stand up against the people of Mecca. And
I will stand up against the different leaders
around the world
as long as, oh, Allah,
you are happy with me.
That's all that matters.
The most iconic words of the prophet salallahu
alaihi wa sallam says. And this teaches you
understand that your problems that you face, whether
it's health problems, whether it's problem with your
family, whether it's financial problems,
compared to your Allah, they are very small.
Your Allah is much greater.
And as long as you have Allah's happiness,
then there's nothing that can break you
The way that the prophet
couldn't be broken.
In the 10th year, the prophet In the
11th year, the prophet's The 11th year, the
prophet's sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
he receives a gift, and this gift was
of Isra and Miraj. The night journey in
the ascension,
Isra,
he goes to Palestine. He leads
all of
he meets all the prophets.
A 124,000.
One narration, the prophet asks, how many prophets
were there? And he says, a 124,000
prophets. And then he asked, how many messengers
were there? And the prophet says, from there,
the messengers were 300 and
13.
So 313 messengers, and he said and that
is a good number. Why? Because there were
313
people in the battle of Badr. And we'll
talk about Badr some other time.
After this,
you know,
have you guys ever been to the makka
programs?
One of the most interesting thing about the
makka program, we had a makka program like
2 months ago here at Frisco,
is who's going to lead to law?
Because you have like imams from all over
Collin County.
Anyone you pick, you're gonna have a phenomenal
salah.
Right? Sheikh Salah,
it's in his name.
You have, you know,
Sheikh from Makini.
Sheikh Jabali,
beautiful resetter.
You have Sheikh from Plano, Sheikh Arsalan
or, you know, Imam Azhar,
Subedar, you have Imam Nadeem, you have ARB
Abdulham Bashir. Any of them, you're gonna have
a great salaw. You have like the VIPs
there. Right? These were like, you know, the
MVPs.
But just imagine now you have a 124,000
prophets,
and it comes time for salah.
Who's gonna lead that salah?
Who's gonna lead that prayer?
Is it gonna be Adam alaihis salatu waslam,
the father of mankind?
Isn't it gonna be Ibrahim alaihis salatu waslam,
the father of prophets
and Khalilullah, the friend of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala? Is it gonna be Musa alayhis salatu
waslam, who Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala calls him,
kalimullah, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala directly spoke to
him? Is it gonna be Ruhulah,
Isa alayhis salam, that his birth was a
miracle? Is it gonna be Yusuf alayhis salam,
who Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives so much
beauty to?
He hold the hand of a person who
never got a chance to meet his own
father.
He hold the hand of a person who
went from one house to another house, from
Halima to Amina to Abdul Muttalib to Abu
Talib,
bouncing around in what we would call foster
care.
A person that we would overlook
if he were to be here today. Why?
Because he's not from the elite. He's not
a doctor. He's not an engineer.
He's not someone that, you know, is that's
prestigious.
And he grabs the hand
of our
Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam.
And he says, this right here
is for you.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says
that
your mention
has been raised.
Yes.
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, has given you good
characteristics.
This is your special place.
Now you could just imagine,
after this,
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam probably said to
Jibreel I put this in my own words.
That if it was me, I would have
said Jibreel, I sat to Jibreel, the amazing
night. I just met like met all of
the prophets.
I've read You know, you've met brought so
many stories to
me. Musa al Islam, they're like Every single
Jews is about Musa al Islam.
Adam al Islam, I know his story. Yusuf
al Islam, the whole story of Yusuf al
Islam. Let's go back to Makkah. And
Jibrari alaihis salam says, there's still more yet
to come. This is one half.
Now, it's an ascension
and he goes to the 7 heavens and
on each heaven, he has a 1 on
1
conversation with the prophet with certain prophets.
And in the final 7th heaven, the prophet,
salallahu alaihi wa sallam sees Ibrahim, alaihi salatu
waslam, and Ibrahim, alaihi salatu waslam is resting
against
Baytul Ma'amur,
the equivalent of the Kaaba in the skies.
In one narration, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam says, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has so
many angels
that every angel The average age of a
human being is in our
in our nation, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam says, the average age is 60 years
old. This is the average of every human
being. The average age of the angel is
eternity
until Israfir alaihisattu waslam blows the trumpet.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasalam says, Allah swaddai
has so many angels
that the angels do tawaf around Baytul Ma'mur
and they only get one chance
and then their turn never comes again.
That's how many angels of Allah subhanahu wa
sama has. Then the prophet salallahu alaihi wa
sama is taken to Sidrul Muntaha.
Jibreel, he says to Islam, stops.
I can't move ahead.
And the prophet says,
Jibreel, you've been with me this whole trip.
Why have you stopped?
He said,
I have 600
wings.
If I cross over, all 600 of my
wings will burn to ashes.
Only one
person, only one being except for Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala is allowed to cross.
And his name
is Muhammad
And this is where the prophet
he conversed with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
Allah mentioned this in Surah Najim. Then the
prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam returns back. When
he returns back and he tells the Quraysh
about what happened,
right, this was like a crazy story.
Well, you and I would say, you know,
this guy's
not fully there. In the Quran, that's exactly
what they said. They went to Abu Bakr,
do you hear what your buddy's saying? Your
buddy's saying last night,
he went
to Abu Dhabi, attended the Mahakajev fight, saw
the victory and then came back the same
day.
Like, I wouldn't even believe that. If I
were to say that after Asafall, I went
and watched and came back, nobody would believe
me.
And when Abu Bakr then says,
Mohammed said that?
He said, yes.
He didn't say, let me go confirm. He
said, if the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasalam said
that, I believe it.
Like what It's not a big deal. He
tells us about stuff what's happening in the
hereafter and I believe that, then how can
I not believe what's happening in the duniya?
And this is where the pro This is
where Abu Bakr Al Tham gets a title,
Abu Bakr Siddiq.
The truthful and the friend of the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
In 12th year, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam
after One thing I want to recap.
The 1st 4 years,
private
preaching. The 2nd 3 years, open preaching.
Then, from year 7 to year 10,
boycott.
After year 7, the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
he no longer preaches to the people of
Makkah.
Boycott happens
in the 10th year, he goes and tries
in Thayef.
In here, 12th year, the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam, 11th 12th year, what he would do
is whenever people would come to Hajj during
the Muslim of Hajj, the season of Hajj,
he would talk to them and preach Islam
to them. He wouldn't know the Quraysh now.
Done.
In 12th year, he meets with a small
group
of people from from Yathrib, 12 people,
and he takes pledge with him. He preaches
Islam to him. They accept Islam and the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he sends to with
them Musa bin Umer radiyaa ta'ala and with
him was
Abdullah bin Umay Maktoum. These two people were
sent as teachers. So before the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam came, these were the first two
teachers that were sent to, you know, to
Madinah and they laid the groundwork.
In 13th
year,
this come the 2nd Aqaba, the 2nd pledge.
Now, 70 people come and they're already Muslim
to Medina and they say to the prophets
allah alayhi wassom that you're also Allah, come
and live with us.
Instead of these people hurting you like this,
come to Medina, we'll take care of you.
You know, in this time,
Abbas'ud Arun was there and he was a
Muslim.
And, they're negotiating
and they say to the prophet if you
come, we will make you our leader.
We will give you a place.
We will follow and obey you. If Makkah
is Madinah's attack, we will protect you. We
give you alliance.
One of the people there says,
what will you give us in return? This
is what we're doing to you. In return,
what are you giving us?
And the prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam said it,
one word.
He says, if you dedicate yourself to me,
and this is the prophet speaking to us.
If you can dedicate yourself to the prophet
in return, he will give you one word
and that is
Jannah.
There was a old uncle
that was sitting there in the back, chilling.
He gets up and says,
He says, that right there is a good
deal.
That is a bargain. Forget about your, you
know, your prime date.
Right?
Forget about your prime day. Forget about your
Black Friday. That right there is a good
deal. Take it.
And they take the oath of the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam. And after this, the Muslims
began to migrate to Madin to Manawwara
in slow batches
in the night.
During the time of Omar Radi'at Not during
the time, but Omar Radi'at,
when he was migrating,
he first goes to the Kaaba.
And his words is, he calls out openly.
He goes, there are some people going quietly.
He says, me,
if anybody wishes that their children become orphan
and their wives become widows,
try.
Step up.
Try to stop.
I'm telling you what the outcome is going
to be. You're going to leave your wife
as a widow, you're going to leave your
children as orphans.
Now,
as all the companions were leaving,
this happened in the month of
When the prophet made intention to leave, it
was in the month of Muharram,
and in this month, the month that we're
in right now, Rabi' Allah, the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam, he leaves Makkah to Makkah Rama,
and he goes to Madinah to Marwa. However,
we're out of time.
Inshallah, we'll carry on the Madinah period. So
today, I wanted to cover the whole thing,
but we covered the recap of the first
half of the life of the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam. InshaAllah, we'll set up another day
for the second half of the life of
the prophet in.
We'll we'll we'll post the flyers. But
with it being,
we wanted to dedicate this month to revive
our love for the messenger of Allah
And that's why the ICF youth have focused
this month and gave it a title, the
theme of a mercy to mankind.
You know, this is something that we have
to leave with our children. We have to
teach our children.
The Prophet isn't a secondary discussion in our
religion, it's a primary discussion.
The way that our children love Islam and
they love Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, they should
also love the messenger of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
InshaAllah, we'll go ahead and wrap up here.
We'll try to have we'll I'll speak to
youth council. Maybe we'll have round 2 next
week to finish off the slides and finish
off the life of Rasool Allah
will be at 8:50 8:30.
We do have food outside, so inshallah, if
you guys wanna line up, we'll have food
quickly, and then we'll come back.
We make dua to Allah Subhanahu. Allah Subhanahu
gives us the love of the prophet Subhanahu
Wa Salam. That he gives us the companionship
of the prophet Subhanahu Wa Salam in the
hereafter that when we meet the prophet
Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam is proud of
us, and he accepts us as his ummah,
that he gives us water at the hawdulqosa,
that he meets us at the mizan, that
he helps us pass ul Sirat,
that we get his company in Jannah, that
we are his neighbors in Jannah. We make
dua that Allah
gives us ability to act upon the sunnah
of the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. That
he gives us ability to not only act
upon the external sunnah, but the internal sunnah
and that build the akhlaq
of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. May Allah
love us because of our love of the
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Allah Subhanahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Say, if you love Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala,
then love the messenger and follow the footsteps
of the messenger of God and return Allah
will love you. Oh Allah, we have gathered
here not for the food. Oh Allah, we
have to gather here not for any other
reason, but for the love of the prophets
of Allah. Because of this love, oh Allah
we ask for Jannah. We ask that you
overlook our sins. We ask that you be
pleased with us.
