Allah
After praising Allah
and sending our peace and blessings to our
prophet Muhammad alayhis salatu as salam,
I remind myself and yourselves on this blessed
day of Yamaljumuatifirullah.
As Allah
says in the holy Quran.
Oh, you believe you're Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The way he should be feared and do
not die
except
in the state of complete submission to him.
We ask Allah to die in the state.
What
are the skills
of winning
and losing
for us?
What
are the scales
of winning
and losing for us?
And what
should the skills of winning and losing be
for the Mu'min?
The true and sincere believer. Because
there are skills
that mankind have.
And everyone has their own scale of winning
and loss.
But for a believer
and for the believer only,
it is
Allah alone
that creates this scale.
This is not a scale that we come
to understand or make up or our experiences
in life help us develop it but No.
This scale is something
placed in this world for the believer with
the divine wisdom of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
You see,
for a smart businessman,
for a smart
and intelligent businessman,
They
take
most of their money
When everything adds up in a business,
the return
seems like it's guaranteed. The investment
is profitable like no other profit.
This intelligent businessman
puts all of their wealth into this investment.
To buy a product
that they
themselves
at the time have no use for.
A businessman goes out to the market
and buys something that even if they lived
for a 1000 years, they wouldn't be able
to use all of these products that they
bought.
With the hopes
that they will sell
it and it will return to them in
multiples.
That's what a smart businessman does. They trade.
They see the investment.
They calculate it.
They buy and they risk,
and then they sell,
and they profit.
When we
do business with
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
we should not look at it in any
other way than the way Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala put it.
When Allah said,
Allah purchased
the souls,
the lives
and the wealth of the believers. And in
return,
what do they get?
They get jannah.
They sold this world.
They sold everything Allah gave
them in it. They sold the wealth that
Allah provided them with.
To who? To Allah and His cause
in return
for jannah.
When we look at what
is happening to our brothers and sisters in
ghazal, we will continue
to speak about it as this
is the most cataclysmic
event of the century.
This is a pivotal moment for the ummah
of Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam.
This is a moment in history
that will be recorded.
And our reactions,
and our speeches,
and whatever we do, and whatever we say
will be written down in history.
And inshallah, we ask Allah to make us
from those written down on the positive side
of history
and not the negative side.
In this moment, our brothers and sisters
are losing their lives in one of,
if not the greatest genocide of this century.
And we see
what is happening.
And we see
the iman
of our brothers and sisters in they are
being bombed and and their lives
are being taken
one out of the other.
One after the other.
Just children
about an an average of a
130 some odd children a day
are being killed and murdered in cold blood.
Everyday.
And we're not talking about
the men, we're not talking about the women
or the elders. We're talking about children alone.
Innocent children.
But you know what?
The people
of Gaza are people
that understood
this transaction with Allah.
They understood
what is at stake
and they understood the value
of what it is. They're selling their lives
and they're selling their wealth and they're selling
their security for.
The most precious thing in the hereafter is
jannah.
Is there anything
more precious than jannah?
Absolutely not.
The most precious thing in this world is
freedom
and living with dignity and honor. Is there
anything bigger than that?
Is there anything more than freedom
in this world?
Is there anything more than freedom and dignity?
There isn't.
And when a life is sacrificed
for either this in this world
or Jannah in the hereafter,
then there is no greater sacrifice than this.
There is no greater sacrifice
than this.
They put their lives on the line because
they understand the transactions.
They became
the true businessmen
and women with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Because they understood
what is in store for them in the
hereafter. In hadith, the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam.
He
said,
The people
of comfort in this world, the people
with easy lives,
the people who worked and actually got their
paycheck, the people who leave the masjid and
are not worried
to be bombed, to be killed. They don't
hear the planes flying in the missiles,
and the bullets flying around their ears. They
don't have to stop at a 2 hour
checkpoint just to get to their house that
is 10 miles away.
People that risk their lives on the day
to day basis, People that don't drink dirty
water and have to risk being sick or
eat food
that they don't like but they have to
eat because
they are forced to eat it to live.
These people who went through suffering in this
dunya
and the people who did not go through
suffering
in this dunya
are in completely different places.
So the prophet
he's saying, the people of ease and comfort
in this dunya,
when they see
what Allah prepared for
the people who were tested,
they would wish
that Allah sent them back to this dunya.
They would say, You Rabbi. Just send me
back.
Just send me back.
So that what? Look at what they pray
for. They say, you Rabbi send us back
to the dunya
so that our skin is peeled off of
our bones. Our flesh is peeled off of
our bones
for your sake
so that we can
take it.
It's only a little bit of pain. It
hurt. But when they saw the lavish
of the hiluljannah,
the lavish of those who were tested,
the hardest tests in this dunya,
they say, it's worth it. But it's too
late.
It's too late at that point.
But the people that understand it in this
duniya
are very few.
And the ones that do understand it are
the ones that deserve
the win. And the ones that truly won,
just for the way they're sing thinking of
this dunya and perceiving it.
When you lose a loved one and you
say, Alhamdulillah.
When you lose your home and have no
place to live and say,
The dua of Ibrahim.
We don't need anyone's help. Allah is for
us.
That's what the that's what Ibrahim alaihis salam
said. When he was about to be catapulted
into the fire,
Jibreel alaihis salam came, he said, Allah sent
me to help you, oh Ibrahim.
What should I do? Tell me. He said,
no.
He's like, all I need is Allah. I
don't even need you Jibril.
Jibril is physically in front of him. But
he didn't even want Jibril to be involved
because all he knew that he needed is
Allah
Imagine this,
when we say it upon ease, it's easy
But when you say it after a loss
of a loved one, loss of a child
carrying
an infant, a baby that you waited
25 years to have because Allah deprived you
of a child, and you're carrying this child
after dying
from a from a bomb that dropped on
the house that you worked these 25 years
to build and to have this child. And
everything you worked for is between your arms.
And the only thing
the person is saying is,
If this is not iman, then what is
iman?
If this is not
the what the leftovers
of the sahaba in our time, then what
is the leftovers of the sahaba?
Where's Al Khansa?
And where's Abu Bakr and Umar of our
time?
And where are the people who sacrificed their
lives?
Subhanallah. They're right in front of us.
And perhaps it's as if Allah allowed
the social media to spread
with His divine wisdom. Although it was created
to propagate falsehood. It was created to propagate
fitna. It was created
to to
magnify
desires and whims to distract us from Allah.
But it became an outlet for us to
watch and to see and to experience true
iman. So that perhaps
with these sacrifices
for every person who is dying
in right now, who is martyred
in right now,
and in
for every person,
they will revive the hearts of 100
of this ummah, of 1,000
of this ummah. And their blood
would be the fuel
that allows the engine of this ummah to
crank and turn on, so that it can
return
to the victory,
and to the honor, and to the dignity
that it had once in the past.
And they took this offer from Allah. And
we ask Allah to reward them for waking
up our hearts. Every
single one of us right now is following
the news. If our iman did not increase
after seeing all these, then I don't know
what will cause our iman to increase.
If we did not
leave sins that we did before
these images and these videos and this this
war that is happening then I don't know
what will revive this heart of iman.
Iman.
If we see this, the heart dies from
it. If the heart had any remnants of
Islam and Iman, it wouldn't die.
On the night of Isra'il Mi'raj, the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam,
he was ascended to the heavens from
And as he was ascending, he smelled a
beautiful smell. Something that he didn't smell in
the entire heavens.
He didn't smell anything like it.
And he told Jibreel alaihis salam, Yeah Jibreel,
what is this beautiful smell? I never smelled
anything like this. And Jibreel alaihis salam replied
to him. He said, This is the smell
of the hairstylist
of the wife of Fir'aun.
This is the smell of the hairstylist of
the wife of Firaun.
You know the story of the hairstylist
of the wife of Firaoun.
She dropped her comb as she was combing
the the hair of the daughter of Firaoun.
She dropped the comb and said,
and picked up. So the daughter
of turned around and asked her, did you
mean
Did you mean in the name of Firaun?
She said, no.
I meant Allah,
my Lord and the Lord of Firaun as
well.
She said, should I tell my father what
you're saying?
She said, I don't care who you tell.
It's Allah that I believe in and he's
the one that does whatever he wants with
me. I belong to him and I shall
return to him.
She was taken before Firaoun.
And a large
metal or bronze,
like a huge huge tub
was created
for her and oil was poured in it
and fire was lit beneath it.
And they said, Firaun told her, the the
oppressor and how many Firauns do we have
in our time?
How many do we have in our time,
Allah?
He told her, I'm going to throw all
of your kids so that they can fry
before your
eyes because of what you said about me.
1 son,
1 daughter,
the next son, the next daughter
All so she could return and she's saying,
And she's asked, will you return? Will you
say Faraun is your god? And she refused
until her youngest son
was about to be thrown. He said,
mama,
you're not gonna have any kids after me,
but don't go back.
You are on the true path.
Allahu Akbar. And he was thrown
into this oil, and she was thrown as
well to fry to her death.
For what?
For what?
The kafir will ask for what?
The munafiq will ask for what?
The one who has sickness in their heart
will ask for what is all of this?
Why didn't she just say it? She could
have saved
her her children. She could have saved herself.
She could have lived a life in the
palace of Firaun. The hairstylist
of Firaun at that time, God knows how
much gold she had around her, and how
much lavish she had to sleep on. She
was a slave but she was in the
house of Firaun.
The kafir and the munafiq will ask, this
doesn't make sense.
She's crazy.
She lost her life for nothing.
Oh, the poor thing.
This is only for the kafir and the
munafiq.
As for the believer who was given this
who given the sight from
Allah,
they
look
at
this
and
say
what?
Allah.
I wish I was with them and like
them because indeed I would have been in
jannah right now.
If and if I wasn't in jannah, I
would have had
tens of people to intercede for me in
Jannah.
To take me as the martyr intercedes for
70 people.
Did you know this?
1 martyr
intercedes
for 70 people. And there's actually a hadith
that the martyr on the hands of Ahlul
Kitab
specifically
has double the reward of other martyrs
as well.
To show you
how much reward
they have.
Intercession,
subhanAllah,
for all of their loved ones.
Like Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said.
So,
brothers and sisters,
when we look
at the prophets and the lost, when we
and the losses, when we look at who's
winning and who's losing, let's look at it
with the light of iman, with the eye
of iman, and let's see it the way
Allah
wants every believer to see it.
We ask Allah to make the sacrifices of
our brothers and sisters in ghazah, be the
fuel to revive this ummah.
We ask Allah
to alleviate
the pains and the suffering of our brothers
and sisters in faslihin.
We ask
Allah
to ease
their way and their path to jannatum firdaus.
We ask Allah to give them victory
and to save their blood from being shed.
We ask Allah
to be against those tyrants,
to be against those transgressors,
those occupiers
who only want evil and corruption on the
land and want to commit genocide on the
land. Oh Allah, take them and You see
them more than We see them, You Rabb.
You're the Most Merciful and You're the Most
Powerful
And You Rabb, we ask You to do
with them what Your divine wisdom decrees for
it to be done to them, You Rabb
Brothers and sisters, I know the the the
was long because we started a few minutes
later. But please bear with me for another
few minutes.
What is the source
of the problem here?
Where what is the root cause?
We seem to be an ummah that likes
to help with the symptoms but we do
not like to help
solve the core disease,
The disease itself.
When our brothers and sisters are falling
rather than thinking of
curing the disease itself, we're thinking of sending
money to help those who need food.
To send money for those who need medicine
and water. Although that is needed as well
but it does not solve the problem.
It does not cure the disease. These are
only symptoms of a deeply rooted problem.
Our brothers and sisters in Gaza,
prior to October 7th and prior to all
these events that are happening,
they were dying slowly
because
of contaminated
water, because of lack of supplies. They couldn't
leave their country. The borders
are closed.
Malnutrition.
They were slowly dying brokenness.
They're being killed left and right.
They would frequently be bombed slowly.
Every week,
30, 40.
These people went, they were taken to prison.
These people were shot on this border. These
people died from the We don't hear about
these children
that died in the incubators before.
We didn't hear about the 100 and 1,000,
The 1,000 that died prior to that
because of the sanctions,
the blockade, and the siege,
and these evil corrupt
policies
that were implemented on our brothers and sisters
in Qaza. Nobody hears about that.
But we see the numbers right now.
The root cause
is not something me as a khatayb will
stand here and tell you and it's not
something a political analyst can tell you and
it's not something the biggest imam of the
world can tell you or a mufti
or a haya
or
a combined effort of scholars. No. No. No.
Only rasulullah
can tell us the disease.
That's it. Only rasulullah
When he told us in the long hadith
that I will make shorter, he said,
He said the nations will gather upon you.
Meaning what? The strongest nations
will gather upon you.
Like the wolves,
tear through
a piece of flesh or a piece of
meat.
And then they will say,
Is it because we're very few in numbers
that day, You Rasulullah?
And look at the sahabas mindset. You know
why they said few in numbers?
Because they they kept thinking, will we eventually
be fewer? Because they were always outnumbered 10
to 1,
20 to 1.
In every single
thing that they did they were always outnumbered.
So, You Rasulullah, maybe we'll be a100 to
1 one day. And and and
that's how the end of times you're gonna
come. So, the Rasulullah said the complete opposite.
He said, No. You'll be plenty on that
day but you are like the froth of
the sea. You look a lot but it's
like bubbles. Like bubbles on top of a
sea. It looks huge but it has no
weight.
And then he gives us the diagnosis.
He said, and
your enemies will stop fearing you like they
did.
Before they used to fear the believer.
Before they used to fear the believer and
way, uh-huh. They would think a 1000000 times
before even doing anything to a believer thinking
of it. But you know,
Allah said, They will stop fearing you in
their hearts.
And then he tells us why they will
do that. He said,
Then Allah Allah will put in your hearts
at that time. There will be as a
punishment for leaving the path of Allah.
They said, You Rasulullah, what is We never
heard of this word. What is means weakness.
But they said, what do you mean by
weakness?
He said,
You will start to love the dunya and
hate death.
Love the dunya
and hate death.
The problem is today when we see someone
with the duniya, we're happy.
We're glad,
they made it. Allahu Akbar. I wish I
was like them, I wish I was with
them, I wish I was around them, I
wish they were in my phone book, I
wish I could just easily contact them.
But when we see death, we hate it,
we fear it, we run away from it.
It is the biggest problem. Do anything to
get away from death. Death is the biggest
problem. Stop death, please.
Fear of death
is the issue.
As what fueled this ummah from the start
was a people
that loved
death the way
the non believers loved the dunya.
And that's what they would always say.
That's what every Khalifa used to say.
He would say,
My people,
they love death the way you love the
dunya. They will tell every other nation. Why?
Because
the scales were correct.
They had
it. The scale was right. They understood.
They were good businessmen.
But where are the good businessmen and women
of our time?
Who understands the true scales? And who is
going to sell themselves for Allah? And who
is going to understand
their responsibility towards
Allah
and towards their brothers and sisters in the
ummah? We ask
Allah on this blessed day. Of
On a day where Allah will answer our
du'a,
to alleviate
the affairs of our brothers and sisters in
and We
ask Allah to
give them victory and to give them freedom
and to give them dignity. We ask Allah
to not let us to not let us
live to see the end of our brothers
and sisters without a victory.
Let us live to see
al Masjid Al Aqsa free from the hands
of occupation.
Allow us to see victory. Make us from
those who deserve it, You
Allah.
If our sins are what is preventing victory
for our brothers and sisters in ghazah, then
do not deprive them for sins that we
are accumulating
Do not deprive them for our shortcomings
Do not stop their duas from being answered
because of our insincere duas
You Allah, we ask You on this blessed
day of yomuljumah
to save their blood, to shelter the people
who need shelter, to clothe those who need
clothes. You Rabbi, feed the ones who are
hungry and quench the thirst of those who
are thirsty. You Rabbi, send medical attention and
medicine to those who need medical attention and
medical supplies. You Rabbi.
You Rabbi, allow us to take part in
the uplifting
of this ummah. You Rabb, do not deprive
us of the ajr, of restoring
freedom and dignity for our brothers and sisters
defending al Masjid al Aqsa Mubarak. You Rabb,
we ask You You Allah, on this blessed
day of yawmuljumaa
to not let us ever see
a day of hardship after this for the
ummah You Rabbi
Make all of these ease. You Rabbi, give
us an awakening, give us a tawba that
is answered, give us a tawba that is
accepted, You Rabbil Alameen. Accept our tawba, You
Allah. Accept our tawba and forgive our sins,
You Allah.
You Allah, do not let us end today
without a tawba that is completely
accepted and sins that are completely forgiven and
du'a that is completely answered, You Allah.
You Allah. You Allah, we ask you on
this blessed day to forgive us and to
forgive our parents, and to forgive our spouses,
and to forgive our children, and to unite
us in with
the martyrs of the people of Palestine.
We ask you,
You to accept our lives from You and
make us from those who give our lives
to You, You Akram Al Akramin.
We ask Allah to forgive us and have
mercy on us.
Yeah. Ila,
still still, tell you to fill in the
rows in the back of the please.
On both sides, in the back.
We have some important announcements.
This Sunday,
