AI: Summary ©
Allah opened the hearing channels of our hearts to your remembrance
of Allah.
I am your slave, the son of your male slave and the son of your
female slave.
My forelock My forehead is in your hand, you have total control on
me. Your command over me is assuredly executed. And your
decree over me is just
by ask you by every name belonging to you, which you named yourself
with,
or revealed in your book.
Or you taught to any of your creation,
or you have preserved in the knowledge of the Unseen that is
with you,
that you make the Quran, the life giving spring of our hearts and
the light of our chests and the remover
for our sorrow and sadness, and a release from any anxiety and
distress,
y'all your Allah make us among those who listen to the words of
admonition and follow the best of them.
And we send peace and blessings on our beloved
messenger rasool Allah salAllahu Salam and his noble family and his
companions.
Inshallah, we are continuing with
our discussion and reflection on Surah Fatiha
and we had stopped at Rockman over him.
And we said that Allah subhanaw taala has emphasized his mercy
because the surah starts with Bismillah R Rahman Al Rahim
Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen or Rahmanir Rahim again, Allah
subhanaw taala has stressed or Rockman in our hand twice, right
in the beginning to show the Mercy of Allah.
And also, the first Orlando Rahim is an indication that it is by the
mercy and grace of Allah subhanaw taala that this Quran was sent
down
that it was the Rama of Khurana Rahim that the entire Quran came
down. The second Armani Rahim
is an indication of who is the recipient of this Rachna. And he
says after that mentions, or Ebola, Al Amin, that the Al Amin,
all creation, all worlds are the recipient of His mercy.
And part of that mercy of that Rama that Allah has stressed is
that he sent for us with this column, the prophet of Mercy
Salallahu Salam, as a last one and Allah says we're also Nika. Illa
Hashmatullah Alamy. And We have not sent you Oh, Prophet salallahu
Salam, except as it mercy from Allah subhanaw taala.
Now we continue with the next verse, which is Maliki yo MIDI.
And it is also read as Maliki your meeting, and both of these
recitations go on mutawatir all the way back to Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi salam, and depending on how it is being
recited, in which style
so the two words
Maalik Malik means king talks about kingship. Maliki Ahmed Deen
means the kingship on that day only belongs to Allah, Allah Tada.
There will be no other claimant who can claim it.
Those who claim the chair in this dunya who vied and competed for
power and dominion and pomp and show will realize on that day that
Maalik King is only one because they will realize that they are
powerless and helpless as the rest of the people.
Is Allah subhanaw taala says, Yo Ma whom bar is una Elia follow
Allah Him in whom che liminal Moodle cool young Lilla hill where
he did
the day when all come out before Allah
come out from the graves. Nothing of them will be hidden from Allah
And Allah subhanaw taala asks a question a rhetorical question.
Nobody can respond to it. liminal Malecon Young,
who does the kingdom who does the Dominion belong to on this day?
Then Allah subhanaw taala himself answers because nobody can dare to
say anything Lilla Hill wa wakley deal
that it is Allah alone the one irresistible.
So that is when you take the recitation as Maliki you're
meeting the kingship, if we recite it as an Maliki Malik means owner
ownership that the ownership belongs to Allah is is the
ownership
belongs to Him and to no one else. No one else on that day will claim
anything, nobody will have an opinion. No power or ruling except
his. Allah Samantha Allah says, yo maya pool more rueful? Well, Mala
ICCA to suffer la Yetter Qalamoun il mon again, Allahu Rahman, who
will call us so
Allah Subhana Allah says, That day, when the roof Gibreel la
Salam, and the angels will stand for can rose.
And then he gives us an idea of the seriousness of the greatness
of this day. He says, None shall speak. Now if you gather a few
people, a few 100 people, there is noise.
We are on, on zoom with 1015 people there is noise because
people haven't shut off their mics. Now imagine billions of
people all of creation together.
Standing there, angels lined up Allah says None shall speak except
Him who Allah allows.
And he will only speak that which is correct and right. Absolute
silence. Silence from fear.
Allah subhanaw taala also says about that day
Yo Ma D yet to be our own that down here, La Jolla Maharsha till
ASWAT to live ramen Villa to smell Illa Hamza.
On that day, mankind will follow strictly the voice of the seminar
the color of Allah Dahlia
and law Eva Jana, there is no deviation, you have to go there,
there is no escape. And then you says, a swear to lira hammer, wah,
wah hush after a sweat the right man, that all voices will be
humbled into silence. Therefore our man
and you fella the smell in hubzilla and you will hear nothing
but the low whispering murmur of footsteps as people shuffle around
and move around
Malik Malik on this day is Allah.
So, the kingship and sovereignty that is Malik and ownership Malik
have a subtle difference.
kingship, the King may not be the owner of something. Similarly, an
owner of something it belongs to Him may not be king hula has put
both these together.
And some of the scholars have said that when you talk about Malik the
kingship, it's an attribute of the that of the Essence of Allah
subhanaw taala and Malik which is ownership is an attribute of his
actions that he owns because he created because he sustains he is
the owner.
But both of these have always belong to Allah you can say why is
it that only on that day?
Maliki Yomi Dean or Malika Yeoman? Is the king only on that day?
Absolutely not. Is he the owner of everything only on that absolutely
not. He has been on every other day except it has mentioned
because on that day, it will become clear that complete and
perfect ownership and kingship belongs only to him and the
claimed sovereignty of the Creation The
claimed ownership, he said this is mine ownership or a King says I am
the king. All of that will be completely severed. Nobody will
claim ownership of anything, nobody will claim Kingship of
anything because all of that is overturned, it's negated. There
will be no other claimants for anything on that day, the kings of
this dunya and the slaves of this dunya will all be standing
together helpless, and in total submission, because everything
belongs to him
because of his sole kingship, and sole ownership, everything, the
logical thing is only he deserves to be worshipped with absolute
obedience.
Allah subhanaw taala says it's I am the owner, I am in control
Therefore worship Me, how can you worship someone who has no power?
Allah subhanaw taala says, we are able do not mean Duni ly mela yam
liquid whom Risca Minister Mayawati, che oh well, ah yes,
stop to your own.
And their worship instead of Allah, those helpless beings who
have no control over providing them any sustenance from the
heavens or the earth, those who are completely impotent and have
no power to do anything.
Allah says how can you worship them? Allah Samantha law also
says, quote telling the Prophet sallallahu alayhi salam said to
them, you're assuming Allah salAllahu Alaihe Salam called a
taboo do not mean Duni ly Mala Yummly Kula gandharan Walla Walla
who was semi or Helene, say to them or Muhammad Sallallahu
Listen, how do you worship besides Allah, something that has no power
to either harm or to benefit you. Whereas it is Allah who is the oil
here and the all nor.
So, Allah is the King of kings.
Allah subhanaw taala has forbidden it is forbidden in our ship to
call anyone by the title that we use in in the east of Shan Shah
in Arabic molekule M lac,
or in English King of Kings, because that title belongs only to
Allah. So
even though people have called themselves Shang Shah in different
curves, countries in India and Persia and so on. So, the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi salam said that the most treacherous name in the
sight of Allah and the one who Allah will display most anger on
the day of judgment would be a person who claimed the title of
Shan Shan, King of Kings. Malecon am lack
just like the name Alright man, or xOP these are a lot of those are
names. Similarly, this title belongs only to Allah, the King of
kings.
So, last one Tala sang Maliki young MIDI. What is the power that
is implied by this because all of these scenes are one of all of
fear of trembling because a person knows I am here.
Allah subhanaw taala the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam says, young
widow Allahu Allah subhanaw taala will grasp the earth. Why yet with
sama word to be Yemeni, and he will fold whichever way the
heavens in his right hand but Yemeni Samaya cool. Then he will
say an Al Malik al Maluku, Lord, I am the king. Where are the kings
of the earth? Everything has been destroyed. There's no one to
answer. In another narration he says and Al Malik al Jabbar room,
Angel muta come by rune where are those powerful people, those
people who had arrogance?
Nobody there to answer again, Allah subhanaw taala responds to
the question himself, Lila Hill wa Hill khokhar, telling us that
absolute kingship absolute control act to look sovereignty at all
times, and particularly on the Day of Judgment because there's no one
else to claim it belongs to Allah subhanaw taala he is the rub. He
has the rub
with the power and he is the rub with the right
now it's interesting a person can be a rub. A person it's called Rob
bull by It means he is the Lord He is the master of the house. And a
person may have Rockman he may have mercy, but he does not have
kingship or ownership. Similarly,
A person may have kingship on this dunya he may be a king or he may
have ownership, but he may not be a ROB or have right.
So the perfection is only when both come together, which is to be
the ROB to be the king to be the honor and to have Russia in spite
of all of that, and that comes together only for a boon Allah,
our Lord Allah subhanaw taala so that's just a brief explanation of
Malecon Malik next comes Yom with deen and all of you know Yom.
Generally in Arabic we use for a period of time we call it a day,
but it's a time so yarn can be used for from dawn to sunset yarn
can be used for the whole day or night. It can also be used for a
particular time of the day. Also, it can be used for more than one
day because the last one talks about young he says fee Yeoman
Kana microdata, who Alfa sana in another place, he says for Yeoman
Kana metadata who come Cena Alpha Sana a day which is equal to 1000
of your ears, or 50,000 of your years so that Allah has also
called you. So Yom is a period of time. And when we're talking about
John with Dean, which is your mouth, Hashem, that is an open
time because the time as we know it, the rotation of the sun, and
the earth around the sun, and the day and night will be brought to
an end. And this measurement of time of days and weeks and months
and years will be finished. So we know this day is gonna last for a
very long time. And there are descriptions of that in the
Hadith. So when Allah subhanaw taala talks about yomo Deen, don't
think of it the morning and then the evening.
It's almost like an endless day. It's a very long time.
And then Yom would deem the word dean here means according to the
majority of scholars, the reckoning the hisab and also means
the recompense means the giving of rewards and the meeting out of
punishment after creatures are judged, because this is also a day
of absolute justice, your mundane the day of truth, because only
truth will prevail on that, whether it's in the favor of the
art or against the art. So your would then Allah subhanaw taala
says, He is the Malik he's the only one to make decisions on that
day. He's the only one to make judgments on that. He's the only
one to give permission for anything to speak for anyone to
speak. He's the only one to give permission for intercession for
Shiva on that day. He is the only one who can grant eternal
happiness in Jana is the only one who can put somebody out of his
justice into the Jannah.
And Allah smart Allah does not describe anything more about Yama
Deen in Surah Satya
just says Maliki on Monday but elsewhere in the Quran, if you
remember. Last one, Allah says we're mad at the Rock AMA, Yahoo,
Dean sama Dirac ama Yama de yo Mala time liquid enough soon
enough, it's in che
this comes that Allah says and what will tell you what is the Day
of Judgment. Again, what will tell you what is the day of judgment.
And then he goes on to describe that there'll be no kingship on
that day, there'll be nobody to help because everything belongs to
Allah.
So, when we say Alhamdulillah, in the beginning of Surah Fatiha,
that is
we are praising Allah, because He is Allah
in His that, in his essence, which is perfect, in his afoul his
actions which are perfect in his smile or SIFAT His names and
attributes which are perfect in his
being in his actions, in every aspect in His Lordship, in his
Rubia how he does things.
So we praise Him because He is Allah, we praise Him for His
Lordship. We praise him for his Russia and we praise him for his
kingship and sovereignty for the Day of Judgment.
Now, there are five names of Allah subhanaw taala that are mentioned
in Surah Fatiha
and the scholars have said that if you do
Make these five names all of the other hundreds or more names will
revolve around some shade of these five names. Every name, you can
take and you should be that can be your homework it can be assigned
that take these five names and assign every other name according
to close to one of these. What are these file names? First of all,
Bismillah Allah which is the name of Allah, perhaps the Israel Adam
the Great Name of Allah, because that indicates all of his other
names because when we say Allah, we're not alone. Alright man, who
hola hola Delilah. And manacle could do Salam on moment and
Mohammed Aziz in Japan with a cabin. So Allah encompasses
indicates all of His Names, all of his attributes, His SIFAT it
attributes all of his German, the beauty, it attribute encompasses
all of his Gela, His might and magnificence. The next is Rob
Bula, Alameen, or rob. This name, then brings in all the shades
which have to do with attributes of his deeds and his actions, His
omnipotence, that he is alone responsible to bring benefit and
harm. He is alone responsible for granting or to withhold.
One who gives one who were the holes, he is the one who
constricts, he's the one who expands, he is harder His will is
implemented. So that is all related to his Rubia or rap. The
next two names are Rahman and Rahim, which have to do with all
shades of His mercy, His kindness, his gentleness, his benefits, and
says munificence is doing good too for his his creatures. So, when we
have names to do with, with with love, with bestowing Wahab, for
example, those will fall in this category for
under 50 name is Al
Malik.
Al Malik has to do with his justice, his the Maliki lowers,
and he raises people, He grants gifts and even holes, he gives
honor, he gives disgrace, he humiliates he rules he is the only
one worthy of making rules. It has to do with judgment, you know,
when you have the names and attributes that have to do with
judgment
that an adult would have to do with Al Malik, the one who gives
who grants who will, who will gather people, rewarding and
punishment all are in the shades of his name of malloc. So these
five names, all of the other names have some flavor or some shade of
one of these.
So after stressing His mercy, Allah subhanaw taala after singer
Rahmani Raheem, he says Maliki Yomi de
stresses His mercy but then he reminds us that He is also the
judge. And he by saying this Maliki Yomi Deen, just by saying
Malika Yama, Dean, he confirms that there is a resurrection,
that there is accountability, that there is judgment.
And that what follows of reward and punishment is real. Just by
saying you're moody, because that John Wood Dean implies all of
those,
that there is a young thing there is life after that there is
judgment, there is account.
So, therefore, for his Russia, and for his kingship, we should love
Him for His mercy for his Rubia for nourishing us, for sustaining
us and providing for us. And we should at the same time be in all
in fear of his might, his judgment and our standing in front of him.
Knowing that he knows everything. He sees everything. There are no
secrets from Him, knowing that it is only in his hand, is our
eternal happiness or misery.
So only his judgment
and yet it reminds us that His mercy precedes His wrath, his
anger. But we should keep that in so that we don't get despondent
even if
If we do bad things that my Rob is our man or hang his arm around me,
so I don't lose hope, but we should not take those attributes
without taking the other that he is kahar is Jabbar is moto
capital, he is Moontak him, and he is Maliki omit. So it gives us a
balance of hope in His mercy and fear of his punishment.
The next idea is
the secret some of the scholars have said that the secret of the
Quran is Surah Al Fatiha
and the secret of Surah Al Fatiha is the ayat, e Kenya Abu e
canister.
So, we need to understand this very, very clearly what this
implies. Now, there is the Arabic construct of how this is
constructed. For example, we translate it as E I can now Budo
You alone we worship
this could also have been Naboo dukkha, which means we worship
you.
But in this Arabic linguistically, when you put the object in front,
the object of this worship first iya care, then it can find the
meaning only to that object for the application of the word. In
other words, by putting IAQ and Abu we are saying you alone, we
worship
if we had it as now Buddhu can we say we worship you, but that
doesn't exclude that we worship others besides you. But when you
put it as ear canal Budo linguistically it becomes only You
we worship.
Now what does er can now Budo mean ear canal will do is the
actualization of our Kalama La ilaha illAllah
La ilaha illAllah La ilaha is a negation
that there is no ILA there is no one worthy of worship. So,
negation Nephi and then an affirmation il Allah except Allah.
So, when we say la isla, we negate everything we deny everything and
everyone else as an object of worship. By saying II yakka you
alone?
You are alone
la isla
iAk. When you say IACA it is
an explanation of La isla. Only you means we have confined our
worship to you. We have left everything else that has been
worshipped other than you that same as Lila. That's the negation
then comes in Lola the affirmation Naboo. Now who is the affirmation
we worship
yak only You we worship now boo.
So,
he cannot do in just these two things Allah has said only You we
worship La Ilaha in lung
which is essentially the purpose of creation why we were created we
were created Allah subhanaw taala says Rama Fela to Regina will
insert Illallah Abu do
I have not created mankind or gene kind for any other purpose except
for my eBay.
So now the question is, what is the definition of Alibaba?
So everything that is inward in my heart and that's outward of my
actions. That which Allah loves and displeased with
is a bad
so everything that I do with my internal state of the heart and
with the externally how people are looking at me, whether it's in
Salah whether it's being good to my parents, whether it's
performing hij everything that they see outside my abstaining
from eating and drinking in Ramadan.
Internal and external acts that are pleasing to Allah subhanaw
taala not about the health has five pillars. Number one, love
number two hope number three fear number four
admission, number five, humility, love, I am doing this out of my
love for my rump. Number two, I'm doing it
with hope, in his acceptance and hope for his pleasure and for the
reward from him.
There is a component of fear that I am afraid that my worship after
worship is not good enough for him, I have a fear that it may not
be accepted.
And I have submission, that it isn't obedience to what he wants,
I have submitted why my will to His will. And it is done with
humility, with humbleness, not out of arrogance. And this Eva has to
create necessary requirements without which it is not enabled.
Number one, it has to be taken from the Sunnah of Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi salam.
What he taught us is what it is.
Number two, our intention in doing it should be to please Allah
subhanaw taala alone. So the two requirements are, number one.
Our intention should be for Allah, not for anything else not for
looking good in front of people. That's Sheikh number two. It's not
something we make up I feel like doing this as Ebola. It has to
have a basis in what Rasulullah Salallahu Salam brought us because
the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam said to us, man,
I'm Marina hada Melissa Minoo for Hua rrid. Whoever innovates or
bring something new in this matter of hours of Deen that is not part
of this Deen will have it rejected, it will not be accepted.
And you also tell the protests about the intention in nama llama
Lavinia that your actions are by your intention. So whoever makes a
giraffe online is Rasool is Israelites for online as Rasul and
whoever does it for any other intention such as for a woman, to
Marissa, that's his intention.
So, those two things are necessary to be considered a bad. So the
inward action which is the near it has to be sincere for the sake of
Allah's pleasure alone.
The outward action of how we perform an act has to be correct
and it has to be in compliance with the Sunnah of so you're then
I'm homeless sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sincere and correct those
are the two requirements.
Imam Muhammad been humble. Right now Talalay said that the
foundation of our religion are built on three Hadith just three
Hadees out of 1000s number one
indeed actions are by intention that without then correct near
zero, number two, the Hadees we said whoever introduces into this
affair into this dean of our something that is not part of it
will have it rejected. Number three he said the Hadith which
says and halal or haram obey Him the halal is clear and the Haram
is clear. And in between there are affairs which are doubtful.
So we do what we are commanded by Allah subhanaw taala we avoid what
Allah has prohibited and we hold ourselves back from what is
doubtful. We do it how the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam is narrated
by authentic hadith to have done it and we do it for Allah's
pleasure. So this is the EBA that when we say NA boo, yeah, okay.
Na, na na badda we are turning away from our interaction with
people through with an interaction with Allah subhanaw taala with the
Lord.
You and I are saying You alone we single out in worship, we you
alone, we have fear and hoping
the next comes, ear can Stein same construct the IACA has been
mentioned twice stressing that only Allah only you nest that mean
we ask for help
you alone we ask for help because all affairs in their totality are
under your command alone.
It may appear that somebody else has control of it, but in reality,
it's with Allah swab. So this ear guy is emphasized twice in this
verse, both for a bother and for asking for help.
One day, the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam was writing on a
scammer and his cousin, young Abdullayev Nimbus Robbie Alon, the
son of his uncle, Ambassador, Viola Han, was at that time,
probably about 11 or 12 years old only because he was
13 When the prophets of Allah Islam passed away, was riding on
the camel, behind the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam sitting
next to him and probably had his chest against the back of
Rasulullah Salallahu Salam and the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam,
even for this little kid, a little child, he uses it as a teaching
moment they're riding along he says, Yeah, Gollum young man.
Should I teach you some words that are very beneficiaries? Yes, of
course, they are sort of like yourself, for the law, keep Allah
protect, keep His commandments in front of you. Protect His command,
keep Allah in front of you. And Allah, you will find them in front
of you.
And then he goes on to say, if you ask, ask only from Allah.
And if you seek help, seek help only from Allah. Remember that if
the whole world, all of mankind were to get together to bring you
some benefit, they cannot benefit you except by what Allah has
decreed, and they cannot harm you. Except by that which Allah has
decreed. And he said, the pen the alarm of destiny has been lifted,
and the sort of the scrolls have dried. In other words, that's the
destiny. So why do you go to someone else other than the one
who decides?
So he taught us this beautiful thing to ask Allah subhanaw taala
er can
now when who do we ask, what does it imply? We say yeah, only you we
asked what does it imply? It means that we are totally dependent on
Allah subhanaw taala that we have the word Quran Allah that we
trust, we put our trust in Allah, that we submit to Allah that we
show our humility and our helplessness in front of him, and
we are also implying his ability to remove harm to promote benefit
to grant us the object of what we desire or what we seek. Because
you can only ask from the one who can give it. So when we say E I
can assign we are showing Allah's ownership, Malik.
So
Allah subhanaw taala has combined these two together Ibadah an
asking, asking is also former Feedburner.
So Allah Subhana Allah says in the Quran, FAO, good who would tell
tilaka Lolly
therefore worship Him, and put your trust in Him.
And it is these two principles on which the whole religion revolves
that we do not worship anyone but Allah, and we do not put our trust
in anything or anyone else other than Allah,
that Abu with our con la. Now this is the theory but our hearts have
to feel that way that I worship only Allah, I trust only Allah I
seek nothing from anyone else. Allah may make the others a means
of granting me something, but it is his decision. He is the
grantor.
So
this is ear canal Budo where er can stay. Now Allah subhanaw taala
could have reversed the order.
But he put er can now boudu first because that is the intended goal
of creation. They're the booty of Allah subhanaw taala the worship
of Allah subhanaw taala the intended god, that's a bigger,
bigger goal. So that is put first as mentioned first and er can
Stein is mentioned after because to fulfill the first goal which is
to worship Allah, we need the help of Allah.
It is by his Sophia that we want to worship Him. And it is by his
help that we complete our act of worship which is going to go on
till our last breath because we have to be in and out of Allah
till we meet Malakal mouth. So for that Allah says, Worship Me, and
to fulfill that job that our command I'm giving you, you need
my help. So ask me for help.
So
somebody might say, well, maybe we should ask for help first then we
know that is delphic from Allah subhanaw taala. That's a decree
that he gives you to believe in Him and the wanting to worship
him.
So, that is what starts the process of a bother, but help is
required for the duration of the action to complete to complete the
EBA in the best way.
Also, the first part II cannot Budo is the right of Allah to be
worshipped. That takes precedence over my requirement, which is my
requirement is his help.
Now, interestingly Allah subhanaw taala has left it open he says,
we say, we only You we ask for help,
help with what, nothing is specified
it is left open. So, when it is not specified that means, it is
more comprehensive and general we seek His help and every possible
thing, starting with
our purpose of our life help in being able to worship
and then helping our limits in our problems and so on and so forth.
So,
even a Tamia amatola They said that I pondered over the various
supplications the DA
and the most beneficial the odd that I found, was asking Allah to
help us in doing that which pleases Him and that which he
wants from us. So, what Allah wants from us, we should ask from
him. For example, Allah wants from us
salah, so we asked me Allah make me steadfast in my salah, Allah
wants from us who show in Salah. We asked the Allah grant maker
shoo in my salah.
So, the Prophet salallahu Salam once taught this to say you're
gonna Murad even a Jebel Rhodiola one when he was leaving half last
time he met me. Before that, he said to moderate the Alon, he
said, Oh my god, he told him this valuable advice he said after
every Salah c'est la Manini Allah the creek was Shoukry Hasni that
that's what we say after he finished asleep. Llama I kneel Oh,
Allah helped me a lot Vic Rica to remember you. Because Allah wants
us to remember we are asking help me to remember you. Were shook
Rica. Allah wants us to be grateful. We asked me you're
allowed me to be grateful. But Hosni balletic, Allah subhanaw
taala wants us to do his Ibadah the Allah helped me to worship you
in the best way. So asking Allah for what he asks from us.
Now, the Prophet salallahu alayhi salam taught us that Allah
subhanaw taala loves to be asked, and is angry at the one who does
not ask of him because he considers that arrogance. So we
must ask Allah subhanaw taala frequently, repeatedly for the
same thing and more and resolutely with form your pain that Allah
will answer.
Someone said that I am amazed at the person who knows you your
Allah, and then places his hope in someone else, and asks of help of
someone else. In other words, this person doesn't really know you,
because if he knew you, he would never done his eyes and hopes to
anyone else.
Now, the first few verses that we have gone through are in third
person, third person meaning we are saying
Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim in the name of Allah. Okay, as a
third person. Alright, Manuel Rahim, Maliki omit the now in this
verse,
it becomes second person now we are talking to Allah. Yes, that
was a praise of Allah. Now we're talking directly to Allah is
saying, II Yeah, Kenya will do second person second person means
kita you're talking to Allah subhanaw taala because now that
implies closeness. That's why if you remember that first Hadith
that I had said that had these quotes in the first session, when
it comes to this part, Allah subhanaw taala says, The bene will
be in a habit the now This is between me and my, my my slave. So
it becomes something intimate closeness as Allah subhanaw taala
says, it sir Allah chi bad the need for iniquity. When my slaves
ask
about me, I am indeed close. So this is that closeness. Now, the
other thing in this if you noticed, we said now we do not Abu
nastain not a sign that noon is of plural. So we are literally saying
Wallah. Only You we worship even though one person is saying it you
are saying an individual salah, but you are addressing Allah in a
in a plural in German. We worship we asked for it.
So why is that? Well, one way of looking at it is that it implies
my humility and my deficiency in other words, I am saying that you
Allah, my worship, and my asking is so poor and quality, so
division, that by itself, it's not enough. So I'm going to add it
along with all of those who are asking you so it will get accepted
by means I'll go along in the crowd, because my own by itself is
not good enough.
It's a sign of humility. Also, Allah Swanton has commanded many
of our acts of worship to be in JAMA in congregation Allah loves
the Ummah to come together without division without hatred without
rancor to be one body. So that's why we have your own Juma or Dr.
Jana, that we gather together as an ummah. So Allah loves and gives
more rewards as a Gemma as as a group. And therefore we are also
asking as a group from Allah subhanaw taala we are asking as
part of even though I'm standing alone I'm asking speaking on part
of the whole room
and everyone else in this OMA standing alone may be asking and
part of everyone else. So we are asking for ourselves and our whole
Ummah when we say II cannot ya Allah we all worship you Allah.
I'm not just asking for me I'm asking what I'm asking from you,
is I'm asking for all of my Muslim brothers and sisters er can now do
a year chemistry.
So, if you look at this order, Allah subhanaw taala in Surah,
Fattah has put the verses of his Hulu here, and his Raghu BIA in
the beginning, that he deserves to be worshipped and his Rama and
then are asking, because what he grants us in response to asking
him is out of his Rama.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi salam also says that, Allah says
that, a fight to have three of the verses are for me, and three of
the verses are for my servant, and one verse is between us and this
is the verse between us which we share ear canal Abu where ear
so that is
up to here. Now we could go further, but it's almost 50
minutes so I'm going to stop here and Inshallah, next session, we
will do the last part and then we will give you some overview of why
Surah Fatiha is considered a cure for all spiritual illnesses. Why
is it a cure for physical illnesses, why it is considered
the summary of the whole Quran all of those are things that you can
reflect on. And like I said, you can also use these five names and
put all of the other smells suffered along those categories
and reflect on some of these.
The construct of how each word is there are only few words as we
said before in the Surah which
encompasses all of our deen each one each word can be expanded
in put details in there and everything else is details all the
principles are confined in Surah Fatiha
that's why it is omole kita the mother of the book. So inshallah
we are going to pause here and we are going to open it up for
questions and answers in sharp
