So Inshallah, today, in this moment, we are going to speak
about a different verse, and it is, oh people of faith, be
conscious of Allah and believe in His messenger, and he will grant
you a double share of His mercy. We go to the next slide. Provide
you with a light to walk in on day, on Judgment Day, and forgive
you, for Allah is all forgiving, Most Merciful. I would like to
share with you a story that I heard from about Mensur Schumann.
Man is a photojournalist who was in Laza, and he recently was able
to leave the genocide. And I'm sure many of you follow Him, and
you've heard me speaking about him many times. If you've ever joined
in any of these sessions, it's it's, it's such a such a blessing
and an honor to be able to hear the the witnessing of
you know these, these you know our our Ummah, owe so much to them.
But one of the things that he shared was that one time he was
talking about how he witnessed the Quran come to life so many times.
He saw so many instances of the Quran
just in front of him. He would recite an ayah, and he saw
something, and he would know that, like this is the manifestation of
that verse. And something he shared was that one time he and a
few men were running from home to home, and these houses are
demolished like they've been destroyed by airstrikes, and they
are seeking shelter and protection from the IOF which was there in
the area. And they are in this distro, destroyed home. And all of
a sudden, they're planning to go in a certain direction, as before
they go towards that direction, all of a sudden, three men come.
They see these three men. And these three men came out of
nowhere. They are wearing white, pure white clothes, pure white
clothes with not a speck of dirt. And they just they don't have a
speck of Jahannam, and I would like us to think about the images
we're seeing out of there is no person that we're seeing that
doesn't have a speck of dirt with pure white clothes on, and that
there's a reason, because they're being genocide. And we ask Allah
to make every speck of dirt a witness for them and a witness
against their oppressors. Their every every speck of dirt is a
means of beautification and the raising of ranks for for the
people of but in this instance, they were wearing completely clean
clothes with no with no nothing on them. And these men tell Mensur
and the men that he's with that they are going in the wrong
direction. They say, don't go the way that you were going to go.
That's the wrong direction. Go the other way. And so they go a
different direction. And a few minutes after they had left that
area, like they had already been a safe distance away, that exact
spot that they were going to go was hit by an airstrike,
and those men were they had disappeared. They were gone,
and man was just talking about all of these different realities of
seeing the ayat, seeing the verse of the Quran, seeing the angels,
the taste of rasa, the feel and the air of rasa, one of such
strong Iman, is different than what it feels like outside of it.
And why I thought of that when reading this first if we could
just go back to this verse, the second part in particular, Allah
says, Here, be conscious of Allah and believe in His Messenger,
sallAllahu, alayhi, he will send them and He will grant you a
double share of His mercy. Now, looking at the first part of this
verse, there are so many verses of the Quran that discuss salah,
zakat Hajj, like there are so many different aspects of the Quran
that talk about what we should do, what we should, what we should
enjoin, what we should, what is forbidden from us, what we should
stay away from. But this verse, and obviously we take all of them
as a whole, but this verse doesn't say that, oh, people of faith or
oh, oh,
you know, it doesn't say, oh, foremost in faith. Oh, foremost in
faith. Oh, you who practice you know the best of faith. Oh, you
who are always at the forefront of faith.
It's those who are conscious of Allah.
And the second is believing in the Prophet, sallAllahu, alayhi wa
salam. And that's everybody here. Or if you don't yet believe this,
feel free to join the Ummah tonight. Your shahada is we're
happy to accept you as part of our Ummah tonight, sha Allah. But if
you have this conscience of Allah and you believe in the Messenger
of Allah, He will grant you a double Allah will grant you a
double share of His mercy, and then give we go to the next slide.
Thank you so much.
Provide you with a light to walk in on the day of judgment and
forgive you, for Allah is all forgiving and merciful when I see
a light to walk in on the Day of Judgment,
we are not going to be alone on the Day of Judgment, just like
Allah get.
Brought brought angels to guide, brought angels to protect, has
shown us real life examples of the angels interacting with us on that
day, Allah panatada is going to give us a light. And this light is
not conditioned in this verse with being a
perfect believer. It is not conditioned in this verse with
being somebody who
never makes mistakes or never commits sins or or or tries but
falls short and then tries again. Yes, the levels of light are going
to be different on the Day of Judgment. The amount of light is
going to be impacted on the day of judgment, but Allah promises a
light on the day of judgment, and the fact that all you have to do
is be conscious of Him and believe in the Prophet sallallahu, that he
was telling for that reward to be doubled and for that light to be
you to be blessed with that light and forgiven on the Day of
Judgment. That in and of itself is assigned to us, that Allah wants
us to win, Allah wants us to win. Allah wants us to win, and the
fact that Allah is all forgiving, Most Merciful. And the reason why
I, you know, focus so much on these messages very often when I
address
anything related to spiritual connection, is because what I'm
finding you know for sure, there are people who say ALLAH is
forgiving. Allah's merciful. I can commit all these sins and He will
still forgive me Absolutely. There are people who say that, but the
vast majority of people who speak to me say that they are so afraid
of Allah's punishment, and we should be the punishment is real,
and if anything, what we are seeing in the destruction and
oppression in Sudan and in the Congo and in Gaza and in all of
these different parts of the world, it affirms why we need a
hellfire, but we don't want to ourselves be someone who
experiences * and so on one hand, yes, we need to have the
balance of being cognizant of Allah. It says fear Allah, the
translation, but be cognizant of Allah. Because if you're conscious
of someone who you who, who you know, is watching you on in two
ways. One, watching you because, yes, we are being tested. Are we
going? How are we going to live? What is our life going to look
like? But two, because He loves you, don't you watch over your
child when you love them? Where is your phone right now? Do you know?
You probably do, unless you're watching on your phone, but you
probably know where your phone is. Why? Because we have a love for
watching wherever we need our phone. We love our phone. What You
Love you will watch out for and that is the way that
described who a rockibas, you watch out for someone you love. So
on one hand, Allah, Spano Tala is watching us out of His love for
us. He is watching us out of,
you know, his concern for us. And how are we? And the other hand,
yes, it's We. Are we are going to be responsible for our actions. So
how are we going to navigate living in a world where we know
it's a finite amount of time,
and then there's a hereafter that is eternal, and in the in the
process of from here to there, what are our actions going to
focus on? Are we going to back, go back to him, because he says he is
the most forgiving and he's the most merciful, like that in and of
itself. Instead of focusing on the fact that Allah is not going to
forgive because I don't deserve it, is an act of worship, and
Allah SWT tells us that he is as we think he is, so being
optimistic in who Allah is, having a host of one good thoughts about
Allah, that in and of itself, is an act of worship. Having good
thoughts about Allah is an act of worship. Being optimistic with
Allah is an act of worship. Leaving Ramadan not being so
dependent on your deeds. You know Ibn Al tawilah, who is a,
you know, scholar of Islam, that that's that teaches beautiful
wisdoms like secrets with Allah. He speaks about a person who is so
dependent on their own deeds that they don't they, they depend more
on their deeds than Allah's mercy. How do you know if that's you?
Okay? This Ramadan, I didn't read as much Quran as I normally do.
This Ramadan, I didn't pray as many extra prayers as I wanted to
this. Ramadan, I didn't go to the masjid like I used to last
Ramadan, so what does that mean? That means that I didn't do as
many good deeds, and therefore Allah is not as happy with me, and
therefore Allah is not going to answer my dua. You are dependent
on your own deeds, if that is the way that you think, Allah's Mercy
is greater than your own deeds.
Allah's Mercy is greater than our actions, because Allah is the most
merciful, whether or not our actions reach the.
Level of mercy.
So this Ramadan for you to exit. Ramadan, yes, you didn't do as
much as you wanted to. Yes, you wish you had done more. Yes, it
wasn't as good as it was in the past. Your circumstances may be
different. This Ramadan, your emotional reality is different.
The world is in a different place. This Ramadan, okay. Are you going
to have more hope in Allah forgiving you, and Allah having
mercy on you, in Allah rewarding you anyway, wanting to answer you
anyway, going to him anyway. Are you going to have more hope in
that? Were you going to continue to believe that Allah is not happy
with the small amount of deeds you've done, and therefore you
don't even deserve to pray to
Him, because that right there is the shift leaving Ramadan knowing
Allah is more merciful than than I am to myself, is an active is an
act of worship, and you deserve to know that Allah wants to answer
you as long as you turn to him. Subnica.
