Majed Mahmoud – Living with The Quran #13 – Mercy to Animals

			How is your level of mercy towards animals? You might be surprised as to why am I asking this
question? One time the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he saw a man who had a sheep on the
ground. The man placed his leg onto that sheep getting ready to slaughter the sheep. But this man
did something very incorrect, that the prophets of Allah I sent him was not happy about what was
that men doing? Before he slaughtered the sheep. He was sharpening the knife right in front of the
sheep. And the sheep was looking at that man holding that knife and sharpening it. So the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went to him. He said, Are you trying to make the sheep die multiple
		

			times? Are you trying to make it face death numerous times. Next time sharpen the knife, then come
basically get the sheep put it and then slaughter it, Allahu Akbar. This was his mercy towards
animals one more in a model that Allahu Anhu during his time, there was a group of young boys who
had a bird tied to a post and they were throwing arrows at it as a target game just for humor, just
for fun just for entertainment. So when they saw Ibn Amara walking they fled the scene. So the bid
Ahmad when he saw this, he said min for Allah Who tied this bird to the post, who's playing around
with the animal. Then he said that Anna Nebby use Allah Allahu alayhi wa sallam the prophet has
		

			cursed the one who takes such living beings as entertainment as just a target game Subhan Allah, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam lived by the Quran, where Allah says one out of cell NACA Ihlara
mutton Delilah mean, we have not sent you except mercy to all beings, includes humans includes jinn
and includes animals. So you and I should live by this mission by being mercy to all beings
