00:00:01 --> 00:00:06
			Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen

00:00:07 --> 00:00:12
			wa salatu salam, Al atta Mani recommend Ania allah how you recall Pilla he Ultramarine

00:00:14 --> 00:00:19
			while early he also had the woman that he had he was filling up sooner to he lied to me Dean.

00:00:21 --> 00:00:24
			Locking the alumni and federal welfare interview Madeline Turner was a

00:00:27 --> 00:00:30
			wedding help to help on what to wear I

00:00:31 --> 00:00:34
			wear a belt with a belt. What is OpenEdge? Tina?

00:00:36 --> 00:00:36
			Would you

00:00:37 --> 00:00:38
			ruin a call karula

00:00:41 --> 00:00:44
			Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

00:00:49 --> 00:00:56
			last week we moved on to the next major event in the life of the prophet Sallallahu either usnm

00:00:59 --> 00:01:06
			After the Battle of Allah hisab The next major event was sold Alpha Davia

00:01:08 --> 00:01:10
			the treating of a good Abia.

00:01:14 --> 00:01:22
			So we looked at how it all started with a dream that the Prophet SAW Salem saw about doing Ramadan

00:01:23 --> 00:01:27
			with his companions, and then how they handed out

00:01:28 --> 00:01:30
			1400 of them to Mecca.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:40
			And as expected Quraysh they block them, preventing them from entering Mecca. So they camped out

00:01:41 --> 00:01:45
			on the outskirts of Mecca at a place called and who Davia.

00:01:48 --> 00:01:52
			And how there were an exchange of envoys

00:01:53 --> 00:02:02
			messengers that were sent from the Muslim side to Mecca, and from the side of Quraysh to the
Muslims.

00:02:04 --> 00:02:06
			So we looked at all of that last week.

00:02:11 --> 00:02:12
			So we continue from there.

00:02:16 --> 00:02:19
			One of the envoys that we mentioned last week,

00:02:20 --> 00:02:23
			that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sent

00:02:24 --> 00:02:28
			to Mecca was with man even our fan of will be a lot

00:02:34 --> 00:02:37
			smarter the Allahu and did not end up coming back.

00:02:40 --> 00:02:42
			And so rumors started to spread

00:02:43 --> 00:02:44
			that

00:02:45 --> 00:02:46
			he had been killed by Koresh.

00:02:50 --> 00:02:57
			And so these rumors reach the prophets on the lung, it was Allah. And so he gets up.

00:02:58 --> 00:03:02
			And he heads to the tents of Bangna John

00:03:05 --> 00:03:06
			who are been in a job

00:03:09 --> 00:03:11
			they are from the unsought

00:03:13 --> 00:03:15
			they are from an huzzah Raj.

00:03:17 --> 00:03:23
			And they are the maternal uncles of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam.

00:03:25 --> 00:03:26
			As we know

00:03:29 --> 00:03:30
			the prophets mother Amina

00:03:31 --> 00:03:35
			was not from Mecca. She was from Medina from yesterday.

00:03:38 --> 00:03:43
			And when the Prophet sal Allahu Allah was having first migrated to Medina, he first stayed with
them.

00:03:45 --> 00:03:49
			Before his Masjid was built before his personal quarters were built.

00:03:51 --> 00:04:01
			And it was then that they had offered their personal protection for a solar lights on Allah who it
was. So they were like his private gardens.

00:04:02 --> 00:04:15
			So anyways, a woman from benrinnes, whom Amara she says, I saw her suit a lot. He sold a lot and it
was sort of heading towards our tenants. So I thought he needed something.

00:04:16 --> 00:04:19
			He came and he sat down and he said,

00:04:20 --> 00:04:25
			Allah has commanded me to take a pledge of allegiance from the Muslims

00:04:27 --> 00:04:27
			obey.

00:04:30 --> 00:04:33
			And so he asked for the first man to come forward and give him a

00:04:36 --> 00:04:45
			and then the first one I came, the second man came the third. And eventually all of the Muslims came
and gave him

00:04:48 --> 00:04:50
			what was this pledge for?

00:04:52 --> 00:04:53
			What were the terms?

00:04:55 --> 00:04:59
			And so it was for the sake of Earth man, even our family

00:05:00 --> 00:05:00
			The one who had

00:05:01 --> 00:05:05
			that here we have rumors being spread that he has been killed.

00:05:06 --> 00:05:08
			So now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:05:10 --> 00:05:14
			wanted to see the willingness of the Muslims to fight.

00:05:15 --> 00:05:17
			And so in one NARRATION

00:05:20 --> 00:05:22
			The terms where we pledge to die.

00:05:24 --> 00:05:27
			In another narration, we pledge not to flee from battle.

00:05:29 --> 00:05:34
			In a third and a read narration, we pledge to you according to whatever is in your heart.

00:05:37 --> 00:05:39
			Meaning, whatever you desire,

00:05:40 --> 00:05:42
			or messenger of Allah, we're ready for

00:05:45 --> 00:05:51
			it so this pledge, this bay, became known as

00:05:52 --> 00:05:53
			the eye to read one

00:05:56 --> 00:05:57
			the pledge of

00:05:58 --> 00:06:00
			pleasure, the pleasure of Allah,

00:06:01 --> 00:06:09
			meaning that Allah was pleased with the Muslims who gave this pledge to the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam.

00:06:11 --> 00:06:12
			How do we know?

00:06:14 --> 00:06:15
			Allah tells us in the Quran

00:06:17 --> 00:06:18
			in surah to fat,

00:06:20 --> 00:06:22
			so little fat has revealed

00:06:24 --> 00:06:28
			concerning the Treaty of Allahu Davia.

00:06:30 --> 00:06:34
			And we'll talk more about sorter fit next week but you didn't know who to hire.

00:06:35 --> 00:06:42
			Anyways, Allah subhanho wa Taala says a law called the robbery Allahu annually meaning that if you
value Luna canta shujaa.

00:06:45 --> 00:06:53
			Indeed, Allah is pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you,

00:06:54 --> 00:06:56
			under the tree

00:06:58 --> 00:07:05
			for Haleema fee Kulu be him for N Zelis Akira to highlight him one

00:07:07 --> 00:07:20
			time call you back. He knew what was in their hearts. So he sat down Sakina tranquility serenity
upon them and rewarded them with the victory at hand.

00:07:21 --> 00:07:25
			In another iron intuitive fact. Allah subhanahu Attallah says

00:07:26 --> 00:07:31
			in the ladina Ubay Runa care in Jnana yoga yourown Allah

00:07:33 --> 00:07:42
			your doula he felt like ADM surely those who pledge allegiance to You O Muhammad, are actually
pledging allegiance to Allah.

00:07:46 --> 00:07:48
			Allah has had is over their hands.

00:07:50 --> 00:07:53
			Seven negatives are in the million kootu rlfc

00:07:54 --> 00:08:13
			Woman Elva the man I heard it what was the TV regimen Halima? Whoever breaks their pledge, it will
only be to their own loss and whoever fulfills their pledge to Allah, He will grant them a great
reward. So here in this area, Allah subhanahu Montana

00:08:16 --> 00:08:19
			is praising these believers as them

00:08:21 --> 00:08:24
			as if they had made this pledge with Allah

00:08:26 --> 00:08:28
			as if their hands are in the hands of Allah.

00:08:33 --> 00:08:34
			So this was

00:08:35 --> 00:08:42
			the eye to read one, the pledge of reply with the Sahaba earned the pleasure of Allah

00:08:45 --> 00:08:49
			that's why after this pledge, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them

00:08:52 --> 00:08:53
			and to Hiroo,

00:08:54 --> 00:08:56
			you are the best people on the face of the earth.

00:08:58 --> 00:09:04
			In another narration, all of those who have pledged their allegiance to the prophets of salaam had
had all their sins forgiven.

00:09:09 --> 00:09:18
			So as we said, the whole purpose behind this data was for the sake of originality been a fan of the
alumni.

00:09:19 --> 00:09:26
			Because of this rumor, later on, it was discovered that he had not been killed, and that this was

00:09:28 --> 00:09:29
			a false rumor.

00:09:31 --> 00:09:35
			And he ended up coming back to the Muslim camp.

00:09:40 --> 00:09:42
			But this was only a reason

00:09:43 --> 00:09:48
			for this amazing event, pledging to die

00:09:49 --> 00:09:52
			for the sake of protecting Islam for the sake of defending

00:09:54 --> 00:09:54
			one Muslim

00:09:58 --> 00:09:59
			and consequently,

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02
			This event must have

00:10:04 --> 00:10:05
			been the cause

00:10:07 --> 00:10:12
			of terror in the hearts of the people of Kurdish

00:10:13 --> 00:10:17
			freedom to hear that the Muslims are pledging to die

00:10:19 --> 00:10:23
			to the last man for the sake of defending women's

00:10:26 --> 00:10:29
			and that's why it wasn't heard of words and other concludes were to thread

00:10:30 --> 00:10:34
			by describing the scene and how the Muslims are

00:10:35 --> 00:10:38
			and how this enrage is the kuffaar

00:10:40 --> 00:10:48
			hemorrhoidal rasool Allah will let ina know how she dealt with Allan Kufa who Hannah will they never

00:10:50 --> 00:10:57
			Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are severe against the disbelievers merciful

00:10:58 --> 00:10:59
			among themselves,

00:11:01 --> 00:11:03
			and then Allah gives their example

00:11:05 --> 00:11:10
			Sima whom free will to him as a soldier would you see them? Their sign

00:11:12 --> 00:11:18
			is on the marks the creases of sujood on their heads on their foreheads

00:11:20 --> 00:11:24
			that referring to the light that emanates from their faces

00:11:26 --> 00:11:42
			when they said Daddy commands are looking fake Torah that is their example in the Torah. Well, let's
take a look on Ng and their example in the Injeel kisor Ryan, Roger shutaura, who the ads are who
sells a level of festival, suka

00:11:43 --> 00:11:56
			Euro Jeep was O'Reilly of lever demon kofod. What are the Wahoo? letting everyone know? Sorry, help
me No, no mouthfeel until when John Halima, Allah says their example, in the Injeel is like a seed

00:11:58 --> 00:12:07
			that sprouts its branches. So one seed it grows. And now it's becoming a stem, and it's

00:12:09 --> 00:12:26
			coming out with its branches, making it strong, making the stem strong. Then it becomes thick,
standing firmly on its stem, delighting the farmers, the sores who sowed the seeds, so that Allah
may enraged by them, the kuffaar

00:12:28 --> 00:12:33
			that's what Allah tells us, that he in rages the kuffar by

00:12:34 --> 00:12:43
			the scene of the Muslims uniting in solidarity coming together around or to Allah He sallallahu
alayhi wasallam

00:12:45 --> 00:12:48
			how they came together around him, pledging

00:12:50 --> 00:12:53
			pledging him allegiance to fight for him.

00:12:57 --> 00:13:01
			So this was the accurate one. Now last week,

00:13:02 --> 00:13:10
			we mentioned that the last man to be sent by a Quraysh was who

00:13:12 --> 00:13:12
			wrote

00:13:14 --> 00:13:15
			he'd been Mr. Rude

00:13:18 --> 00:13:23
			he was the last man to be served by Quraysh to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:13:24 --> 00:13:27
			to basically make him give up.

00:13:29 --> 00:13:39
			Now until now Quraysh had no interest in making peace with the Muslims. The prophets all sudden was
offering it

00:13:41 --> 00:13:45
			but they had no interest in it. They sent one envoy after the other

00:13:46 --> 00:13:49
			and all of them came back in disappointment.

00:13:53 --> 00:13:55
			When a rude word even was rude word.

00:13:56 --> 00:13:58
			He came back to Quraysh.

00:13:59 --> 00:14:00
			And he told him Look,

00:14:02 --> 00:14:03
			you should accept his offer.

00:14:04 --> 00:14:06
			There is no way that you can defeat these people.

00:14:09 --> 00:14:13
			And so it seems the Quraysh was finally willing to budge.

00:14:16 --> 00:14:24
			And now they send their last invoice and that is Sohail IP, and

00:14:26 --> 00:14:32
			they sent him to negotiate a deal with the profits on a laden Lee alayhi wa sallam

00:14:34 --> 00:14:35
			who was so Halep in Hungary.

00:14:38 --> 00:14:41
			We mentioned him in the battle Roberto.

00:14:42 --> 00:14:44
			He was one of the noble men

00:14:45 --> 00:14:48
			of Quraysh. He was eloquent

00:14:50 --> 00:14:51
			in speech,

00:14:52 --> 00:14:56
			he was an intelligent man. He used to use his

00:14:58 --> 00:14:59
			his ability to speak against

00:15:00 --> 00:15:00
			Islam

00:15:03 --> 00:15:09
			and he felt as a prisoner in the hands of the Muslims in the battle a battle

00:15:12 --> 00:15:14
			but he was eventually freed, and he made it back to Mecca.

00:15:16 --> 00:15:25
			So when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sees Sohail Anambra coming, he says to the
Companions, sir hula Alikum Uncle Uncle,

00:15:27 --> 00:15:30
			your matter has become easy.

00:15:32 --> 00:15:53
			Because the name Souhei comes from it's derived from saguna, which means easy, which means something
becomes easy. And so he said this, after having a tough time, convincing all of the previous envoys
to enter into a peace treaty with him.

00:15:55 --> 00:16:01
			And so now when he sees, so he takes us as a good omen

00:16:03 --> 00:16:04
			Al fabuland has

00:16:05 --> 00:16:09
			to have, you know, optimism

00:16:10 --> 00:16:13
			and to look at this as being a good sign,

00:16:14 --> 00:16:21
			that Qureshi now are finally intending on reaching a peace agreement. And so peace is finally on the
horizon.

00:16:23 --> 00:16:31
			So rasool Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Sohail they deliberate for a while,

00:16:33 --> 00:16:35
			they negotiate on the terms of the agreement.

00:16:38 --> 00:16:38
			And

00:16:40 --> 00:16:43
			Quraysh will be in very insisting

00:16:45 --> 00:16:46
			on one point

00:16:47 --> 00:16:48
			and that was

00:16:50 --> 00:16:53
			not allowing the Muslims to internment camp

00:16:58 --> 00:16:58
			this year.

00:17:01 --> 00:17:01
			Why

00:17:03 --> 00:17:06
			this was all due to their tribal pride

00:17:08 --> 00:17:10
			in their reputation among the Arabs.

00:17:12 --> 00:17:14
			They felt that if they allowed

00:17:15 --> 00:17:17
			the Muslims to enter

00:17:18 --> 00:17:19
			then

00:17:22 --> 00:17:29
			the people would start speaking, all the Arabs are start saying, look at how

00:17:30 --> 00:17:31
			courage has been defeated.

00:17:34 --> 00:17:36
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam got his way

00:17:39 --> 00:17:40
			over Qureshi by force.

00:17:42 --> 00:17:44
			In fact, before Qureshi sent to hail,

00:17:46 --> 00:18:03
			they told him, go to Muhammad and make a peace treaty with him and make sure that in the terms of
agreement, he doesn't enter Mecca until the following year. For we do not want the Arabs to say that
he entered by force against our will

00:18:07 --> 00:18:12
			Rasul Allah He said a lot more and he also tried his best to argue this point, but to no avail.

00:18:13 --> 00:18:15
			They completely refused to budge on it.

00:18:18 --> 00:18:19
			But in the end of the day,

00:18:20 --> 00:18:30
			the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam was willing to compromise on his demands, as long as none of
the boundaries of Allah were violated.

00:18:32 --> 00:18:48
			Remember what he said when he arrived at Philadelphia? We mentioned it last week, when he arrived
there, and his camel and crosswalk was no longer willing to go forward to Mecca. The prophets Allah
one rally also took this as a sign from Allah.

00:18:50 --> 00:18:55
			That that's it. This is where we need to stop. And now I'm willing

00:18:56 --> 00:18:58
			to agree on anything with crush

00:18:59 --> 00:19:03
			as long as as long as the commands of Allah are honored.

00:19:08 --> 00:19:09
			However

00:19:12 --> 00:19:15
			this had angered many of the companions.

00:19:19 --> 00:19:22
			An example of this was memorable called Baba Radi Allahu Allah.

00:19:23 --> 00:19:24
			He was frustrated.

00:19:27 --> 00:19:32
			So he Muslim, it mentioned that he went up to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and said,

00:19:33 --> 00:19:34
			O Messenger of Allah.

00:19:36 --> 00:19:41
			Are we not upon the hug upon the truth, and they are upon falsehood.

00:19:42 --> 00:19:44
			The process that I'm sorry, yes, by all means.

00:19:46 --> 00:19:55
			So then remember, I said, are not those who kill who are killed from our side in Jannah and those
who have been killed from their side in the hellfire.

00:19:56 --> 00:19:58
			The process what I'm saying? Yes.

00:19:59 --> 00:19:59
			Remember

00:20:00 --> 00:20:03
			Only Allahu I said, then why should we put

00:20:05 --> 00:20:08
			a demean on our religion and return?

00:20:09 --> 00:20:11
			Why should we compromise

00:20:13 --> 00:20:14
			in our deen

00:20:15 --> 00:20:16
			and return?

00:20:17 --> 00:20:25
			Meaning back to Medina while Allah has not yet decided the issue between them and us, meaning we're
still in a state of war.

00:20:27 --> 00:20:30
			No one knows no one side has been victorious over the other.

00:20:31 --> 00:20:37
			So then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, oh son of a BB, I am the messenger of Allah.

00:20:39 --> 00:20:40
			Allah will never ruin me.

00:20:42 --> 00:20:43
			Allah will give me victory.

00:20:44 --> 00:20:50
			So then, remember only Allah who went away, but he could not contain himself.

00:20:51 --> 00:20:53
			He couldn't consider he couldn't contain his rage.

00:20:55 --> 00:21:16
			He wasn't satisfied. So then he goes to Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Ahad and he says, he asks him the same
questions. Are we fighting for the truth and the for falsehood? Abu Bakr said yes, he said are those
who were killed from our side in Jannah, those who were killed from their side in the hellfire? He
said yes.

00:21:17 --> 00:21:18
			Then he said,

00:21:19 --> 00:21:35
			Why should we then disgrace our deen and return why Allah has not decided the matter between us and
them. So go back out of your log it said, Oh, son of a kebab. Indeed, he is the messenger of Allah,
and Allah will never ruin him.

00:21:36 --> 00:21:39
			Look at how the statement of Abu Bakr

00:21:40 --> 00:21:49
			matched and was in line with the statement of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. This is yet
another example of the Eman of Abu Bakr.

00:21:53 --> 00:22:00
			Howe in these kinds of difficult situations, he stood steadfast, and he put his trust in Allah.

00:22:01 --> 00:22:03
			And that's why he was called a certainty.

00:22:05 --> 00:22:10
			But this also shows us the personality of who have a memorable hopped up.

00:22:11 --> 00:22:13
			And this is something that we have seen throughout this era.

00:22:15 --> 00:22:26
			He was passionate when it came to defending Islam and standing up for the truth. And that is why he
was given the title of that Faru

00:22:27 --> 00:22:31
			the one who distinguishes between truth and falsehood,

00:22:32 --> 00:22:33
			right and wrong.

00:22:34 --> 00:22:39
			Submitting to his desires, submitting his desires to Allah

00:22:40 --> 00:22:57
			submitting his intentions to Allah. No, not allowing himself to follow his whims or the neffs or the
whims of others. He was strong, and he was often deeply troubled

00:22:58 --> 00:23:04
			when events transpired. That did not seem to favor the Muslims.

00:23:06 --> 00:23:12
			It wasn't that he suffered from weakness, or weak Iman, or that he had dote

00:23:13 --> 00:23:14
			in Allah and His messenger.

00:23:16 --> 00:23:17
			What proves this

00:23:19 --> 00:23:25
			is that when he saw that it was a matter that has been decided by a law firm above the seven
heavens.

00:23:29 --> 00:23:30
			He was satisfied.

00:23:31 --> 00:23:33
			And he realized his mistake.

00:23:38 --> 00:23:39
			What happens is

00:23:41 --> 00:23:43
			that later on and we're going to mention this.

00:23:45 --> 00:23:46
			Allah reveals Surah two fatty

00:23:48 --> 00:23:51
			in it. Allah subhanaw taala

00:23:53 --> 00:23:55
			explains how this is it was a victory.

00:23:59 --> 00:24:05
			So when certain faith was revealed, the prophets of salaam said Go call or even hop up.

00:24:07 --> 00:24:23
			And then he recited to him the ayat. And then Marathi Allah Muhammad said, now I'm satisfied. So
what does this show us? It shows us that once he realized that it is a matter decided by Allah.
That's it. So it's not that he was

00:24:24 --> 00:24:29
			objecting to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam out of his whims and desires

00:24:32 --> 00:24:33
			but rather

00:24:35 --> 00:24:36
			out of his

00:24:37 --> 00:24:39
			passion for defending Islam.

00:24:41 --> 00:24:43
			And he realized his mistake as well.

00:24:45 --> 00:24:47
			This is why later on in his life when he would remember that day,

00:24:49 --> 00:24:57
			the day of and who they idea he would say, I have gone on fasting, giving a charity, praying,

00:24:58 --> 00:24:59
			freeing sleep

00:25:00 --> 00:25:05
			is all because of what I did on that day and out of fear for what I said on that day.

00:25:06 --> 00:25:13
			Meaning he was doing all these extra good deeds in hope that his mistake would be forgiven.

00:25:16 --> 00:25:25
			As Allah says, in Al Hasan hipness a year that good deeds erase our sins and our mistakes

00:25:27 --> 00:25:30
			so the terms of the agreement were made verbally.

00:25:32 --> 00:25:40
			So all that was left was to write them down. And to have the witnesses come in, you know, to have it
signed.

00:25:41 --> 00:25:47
			So Rasulullah sallallahu send them hug it had been before they probably want to read it out.

00:25:49 --> 00:25:51
			It's a highly Rhodiola well, and would,

00:25:53 --> 00:25:53
			he would

00:25:56 --> 00:25:59
			rate whatever the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will dictate to him.

00:26:00 --> 00:26:03
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him,

00:26:05 --> 00:26:07
			he said to him, right Bismillah AR Rahman

00:26:11 --> 00:26:12
			Sohail

00:26:14 --> 00:26:15
			he said Stop right there.

00:26:17 --> 00:26:20
			We don't know who Aruna is

00:26:23 --> 00:26:24
			the machinery Khun

00:26:26 --> 00:26:27
			they

00:26:28 --> 00:26:30
			only knew Allah by His dream Allah.

00:26:32 --> 00:26:34
			And they disbelieved in Allah's name.

00:26:36 --> 00:26:43
			And it's mentioned in the Quran. Allah says we'll call it we'll call will not rush man. What is a
ramen? This is what they would say.

00:26:45 --> 00:26:46
			So,

00:26:47 --> 00:26:50
			he said instead, right, this Mikkola home

00:26:53 --> 00:26:54
			in the name of Allah.

00:26:56 --> 00:26:59
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said fight

00:27:00 --> 00:27:01
			over Ali, right.

00:27:02 --> 00:27:03
			Miss McCullough?

00:27:04 --> 00:27:09
			How do you know the one Muhammad was hesitant? He didn't want to do that. But he did it.

00:27:10 --> 00:27:14
			Then the prophets of Allah He also told him to rate

00:27:15 --> 00:27:23
			this is what Mohammad Rasool Allah the Messenger of Allah has settled with kurush

00:27:25 --> 00:27:27
			So Haley, he stopped him and he said, No,

00:27:29 --> 00:27:30
			don't write rasool Allah.

00:27:32 --> 00:27:34
			If we knew that you were the Messenger of Allah,

00:27:36 --> 00:27:42
			we would not have prevented you from a tree McCann visiting the cabin. We would never have fought
you all these years.

00:27:45 --> 00:27:48
			Instead, right. Mohammed ibn Abdullah.

00:27:51 --> 00:27:53
			So the prophets of Allah who hails them so fine.

00:27:54 --> 00:27:56
			Oh, Ali, right.

00:27:57 --> 00:28:00
			Mohammed even hamdulillah

00:28:01 --> 00:28:03
			but now earlier on your Loggerhead?

00:28:08 --> 00:28:10
			He said, No, I'm not going to do that.

00:28:13 --> 00:28:21
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told him erase Rasul Allah. Valley Radi Allahu hadn't said
I'm not gonna raise it.

00:28:25 --> 00:28:27
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him,

00:28:29 --> 00:28:38
			that show me where does it where is it? Where did you read it? Because as we know, the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not know how to read and write.

00:28:40 --> 00:28:45
			So how do you show him so the prophets of love and it was erased it himself.

00:28:48 --> 00:28:50
			So we can see how difficult

00:28:51 --> 00:28:57
			the situation was? How dense it was. Here, the companions

00:28:58 --> 00:29:04
			are not willing to compromise on the fundamentals of the deen

00:29:05 --> 00:29:06
			and rightly so.

00:29:07 --> 00:29:12
			This is the messenger of Allah. How can we not write that?

00:29:14 --> 00:29:19
			But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was looking at it from a different perspective as we're
gonna see.

00:29:22 --> 00:29:24
			And to support his messenger

00:29:26 --> 00:29:33
			on this point of not reading Rasul Allah, Allah subhanho wa Taala said in the ayah that we mentioned

00:29:34 --> 00:29:43
			in the context of the story, Allah says, Muhammad Rasul Allah. Why did Allah say this here, sort of
prophetic?

00:29:45 --> 00:29:51
			Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Why would Allah say that? When it's obvious

00:29:54 --> 00:29:57
			in response to this incident,

00:29:58 --> 00:30:00
			So here Allah is concerned

00:30:00 --> 00:30:01
			All in the believers

00:30:03 --> 00:30:04
			that don't worry.

00:30:07 --> 00:30:10
			Allah is a sufficient witness that he is the messenger of Allah

00:30:12 --> 00:30:16
			and also to review the likes of so he live in Hungary.

00:30:18 --> 00:30:28
			Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, whether you like it or not. He is definitely Allah's Messenger.
And so the testimony of Allah from above the seven heavens is

00:30:29 --> 00:30:34
			far more sufficient than writing it on paper. So don't worry about what they say.

00:30:38 --> 00:30:41
			Now, what were the terms of the agreement?

00:30:45 --> 00:30:48
			The main terms of the agreement were number one.

00:30:50 --> 00:30:58
			There will be a truce between both parties for 10 years, in which no war would take place,

00:30:59 --> 00:31:02
			no hostilities for the next 10 years.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:06
			Number two,

00:31:07 --> 00:31:22
			whoever flees to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam from Quraysh, without the permission of his
guardian will be sent back to Koresh. But whoever comes to Quraysh from the Muslims will not be sent
back.

00:31:23 --> 00:31:24
			Meaning

00:31:25 --> 00:31:44
			any Muslim who is currently in Mecca, if he escapes, and goes to Medina, the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam has to send him back. But if the opposite happens, if some of them who had your own
who migrated to Medina decided to go back to Mecca.

00:31:45 --> 00:31:47
			Qureshi doesn't have to send them back.

00:31:49 --> 00:31:50
			Number three,

00:31:52 --> 00:32:03
			whoever wishes to enter into an alliance with Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will be allowed
to do so. And whoever wishes to enter into an alliance with coloration will be allowed to do so.

00:32:04 --> 00:32:05
			Number four

00:32:06 --> 00:32:21
			the Muslims will return to Medina without performing or hombre. But they will be allowed the
following year. And they would stay in Mecca for three days, during which time Quraysh would vacate
the city.

00:32:23 --> 00:32:29
			And the Muslims will carry no weapons except their swords, in their casings in their sheets.

00:32:34 --> 00:32:40
			So as we can see the terms of the agreement were not in the favor of the Muslims.

00:32:44 --> 00:32:48
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam compromised on a lot of things.

00:32:50 --> 00:32:54
			And this was not sitting well with the companions.

00:32:56 --> 00:32:57
			There were objections.

00:32:59 --> 00:33:01
			And there were generally two questions

00:33:02 --> 00:33:05
			that were on their minds number one.

00:33:08 --> 00:33:16
			About entering Mecca. Remember of the Allahu Allah He said to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, did you not promise us that we would visit the Kaaba

00:33:17 --> 00:33:18
			and make it off.

00:33:21 --> 00:33:24
			Remember, it was the dream of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:33:27 --> 00:33:29
			He saw that they were making Ramadan

00:33:32 --> 00:33:38
			and the dreams of the prophets are true. It is way from Allah. So what happened?

00:33:40 --> 00:33:47
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him, or hammer did I say that it would be in this
year?

00:33:50 --> 00:33:58
			Who said no. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in that case, you will visit a cabin
and you will make the laugh.

00:34:02 --> 00:34:04
			It's not a question of if

00:34:05 --> 00:34:06
			it's a question of when

00:34:08 --> 00:34:09
			we will definitely do it.

00:34:10 --> 00:34:11
			But

00:34:12 --> 00:34:17
			Allah did not decree for us to do it this year. On this occasion. We are

00:34:18 --> 00:34:20
			only a day's travel from Mecca.

00:34:22 --> 00:34:24
			Yes, it's difficult to accept this.

00:34:25 --> 00:34:25
			We're here.

00:34:28 --> 00:34:28
			But

00:34:31 --> 00:34:34
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was explained to him that

00:34:36 --> 00:34:45
			that not this year, but next year. The second question that was on their mind, how can we agree to
return the Muslims who escaped Mecca

00:34:47 --> 00:34:49
			when Quraysh will not have to do the same.

00:34:52 --> 00:34:56
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them that if someone

00:34:58 --> 00:34:59
			from nutcache

00:35:00 --> 00:35:02
			comes to us

00:35:03 --> 00:35:04
			and they're Muslim.

00:35:05 --> 00:35:13
			We would send them back. And Allah would make a way out for them. They just need to be patient.

00:35:15 --> 00:35:18
			But if someone leaves from our side

00:35:21 --> 00:35:27
			that Allah has rid us of such a person. Why do we want such a person to remain with us?

00:35:28 --> 00:35:34
			Such a person who gives up his Islam and he runs away? Why would we want him to stay with us?

00:35:35 --> 00:35:38
			So here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:35:39 --> 00:35:45
			was trying to reason with the Companions, their emotions had overtaken them.

00:35:46 --> 00:35:47
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:35:49 --> 00:35:50
			was trying to reason with them

00:35:53 --> 00:35:55
			and trying to make them see the reality of things.

00:35:57 --> 00:35:59
			So they wrote down these terms.

00:36:00 --> 00:36:02
			And now it was signed, it was time

00:36:03 --> 00:36:07
			to sign the agreement and to call the witnesses

00:36:08 --> 00:36:09
			suddenly

00:36:11 --> 00:36:14
			Babu GENDEL appearance

00:36:16 --> 00:36:17
			who has an agenda?

00:36:20 --> 00:36:21
			Abu Jandal

00:36:22 --> 00:36:23
			was the son of

00:36:24 --> 00:36:31
			Sohail Enamul, who's negotiating the agreement with the Prophet sallallahu ala USL

00:36:32 --> 00:36:33
			and he was a Muslim.

00:36:35 --> 00:36:38
			Where was he living? Was he in the camp of the Muslims? Did he come from Medina? No.

00:36:40 --> 00:36:44
			Abu Jandal was one of the oppressed

00:36:45 --> 00:36:52
			detained Muslims who were left behind in Mecca. He was imprisoned by his father.

00:36:54 --> 00:37:01
			His father didn't want him to make a drug to Medina. And he heard that the Muslims had come.

00:37:02 --> 00:37:03
			So he left his home

00:37:04 --> 00:37:10
			in his teens, and he comes and he arrives on the scene.

00:37:12 --> 00:37:14
			He made it through the mountain passes.

00:37:16 --> 00:37:21
			It has changed walking through the valleys in hiding, and here now he appears

00:37:23 --> 00:37:27
			he's finally reunited with the Muslims. Imagine his joy.

00:37:28 --> 00:37:31
			He finally made it. But now we have a problem.

00:37:34 --> 00:37:36
			What was one of the terms of agreement?

00:37:39 --> 00:37:46
			So he'll sees his son and he says, This is the first person whose case I take up.

00:37:47 --> 00:37:49
			You have to hand it over to me.

00:37:51 --> 00:37:53
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

00:37:55 --> 00:37:56
			allow me to have him.

00:37:58 --> 00:38:07
			So he'll said either this or nothing. Meaning if you refuse to hand him over, then this agreement is
over.

00:38:09 --> 00:38:13
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, but we still haven't signed it yet.

00:38:15 --> 00:38:17
			The agreement hasn't been finalized.

00:38:19 --> 00:38:23
			So hey, Sahil was persistent, and he refused to back down.

00:38:25 --> 00:38:27
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:38:28 --> 00:38:29
			he said to Abu Jandal

00:38:30 --> 00:38:32
			you have to go back

00:38:34 --> 00:38:45
			and be gentle. He says all messenger of Allah. Are you sending me back to the disbelievers to allow
them to put me in a fitna with regards to my Deen.

00:38:48 --> 00:38:51
			They're persecuting me. You want them to continue to persecute me.

00:38:54 --> 00:38:55
			It's a huge test.

00:38:56 --> 00:38:57
			It's a test of iman.

00:38:59 --> 00:39:16
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to him, Oh, be gentle, be patient and endure your
situation for the sake of Allah. Allah will certainly make for you and those suffering with you a
way out from your hardship.

00:39:18 --> 00:39:19
			And so

00:39:20 --> 00:39:25
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was telling him that we have made this peace agreement with
these people.

00:39:27 --> 00:39:35
			Giving them a pledge by Allah to be faithful to the terms of the agreement, and we shall not violate
our pledge

00:39:38 --> 00:39:39
			and we Muslims don't

00:39:41 --> 00:39:43
			back down on our word, even if it's against us.

00:39:45 --> 00:39:49
			And so in the end Quraysh they took up agenda away

00:39:50 --> 00:39:52
			when they were dragging him away.

00:39:53 --> 00:39:55
			Mohammed had been called Bob again.

00:39:56 --> 00:39:58
			He comes on the scene

00:39:59 --> 00:39:59
			and

00:40:00 --> 00:40:02
			As he moves towards Abu Jandal

00:40:03 --> 00:40:04
			and

00:40:05 --> 00:40:08
			he pushes the handle of his sword towards him,

00:40:09 --> 00:40:12
			indicating telling him to take it

00:40:13 --> 00:40:15
			and to kill his father.

00:40:17 --> 00:40:20
			But agenda, he didn't do it

00:40:24 --> 00:40:25
			after that

00:40:27 --> 00:40:30
			the agreement was signed and sealed.

00:40:32 --> 00:40:44
			The envoy of Quraysh returns to Mecca and the Muslims who had left their homes from Medina with the
intention of performing or umrah

00:40:45 --> 00:40:48
			and they were still in their state of Iran

00:40:51 --> 00:40:54
			they were now supposed to return to Medina without performing their

00:40:57 --> 00:40:59
			it was a tense situation

00:41:03 --> 00:41:08
			they felt that they had been humiliated by being prevented from entering Metka

00:41:10 --> 00:41:20
			you know, this is an enemy who they feel that finally they have overpowered and they are about to
defeat them

00:41:24 --> 00:41:26
			and now they feel that this was a setback.

00:41:28 --> 00:41:32
			And they didn't know how they could return back to Medina humiliated in this way.

00:41:34 --> 00:41:37
			And so now Rasul Allah, He sent along when it was settled him

00:41:39 --> 00:41:42
			who is being guided by Allah subhanho wa taala.

00:41:45 --> 00:41:47
			We notice that

00:41:49 --> 00:41:51
			on other difficult situations,

00:41:52 --> 00:41:59
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would always consult the companions. Okay, so this is the
situation, what should we do?

00:42:00 --> 00:42:03
			You know, we're in a tough situation, what should we do?

00:42:04 --> 00:42:08
			We saw you in the battle, and then during the battles in the Battle of it.

00:42:09 --> 00:42:11
			And that's why they dug the trench.

00:42:13 --> 00:42:14
			He wouldn't get revelation from Allah.

00:42:16 --> 00:42:18
			But this was the only time

00:42:19 --> 00:42:20
			when

00:42:21 --> 00:42:25
			he did not consult the companions. If he had,

00:42:26 --> 00:42:27
			there would have been bloodshed.

00:42:30 --> 00:42:35
			If he had consulted them, they would have entered mica, there would have been more

00:42:39 --> 00:42:41
			because their emotions had gotten the better of them.

00:42:42 --> 00:42:47
			Instead, on this occasion, Allah was guiding him

00:42:48 --> 00:42:49
			the whole way.

00:42:51 --> 00:42:54
			And so now, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:42:56 --> 00:43:05
			he tells his companions to start packing up, we're heading back home. And he orders them to cancel
their state of Iran.

00:43:06 --> 00:43:09
			Anyone who is in the State of Iran,

00:43:10 --> 00:43:20
			he has to either perform his camera or hedge. And then once you're done, you've cut your hair, you
slaughter your animal, and you are out of the State of Iran.

00:43:21 --> 00:43:25
			But if you aren't able to perform your hunger, for whatever reason,

00:43:27 --> 00:43:34
			you can't just go back home like that, you have to get out of the State of Iran is known as a
download.

00:43:35 --> 00:43:46
			And you do that by shaving your head or cutting your hair and slaughtering your animal. So the
Prophet sallallahu, he was sort of turned to the Companions and says,

00:43:48 --> 00:43:51
			shave your heads and slaughter your animals.

00:43:56 --> 00:43:59
			There is Pin drop silence and no one moves.

00:44:02 --> 00:44:06
			Not a single one of the companions moves.

00:44:08 --> 00:44:19
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam whenever he would order the companions to do anything, and we
have seen this throughout the syrup, they would immediately rush to it.

00:44:20 --> 00:44:23
			They would hesitate, they would compete with one another.

00:44:24 --> 00:44:25
			But this time, no one knows.

00:44:26 --> 00:44:30
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam repeated his order a second time.

00:44:32 --> 00:44:33
			Again, no one moved

00:44:35 --> 00:44:35
			the third time.

00:44:37 --> 00:44:37
			Once again.

00:44:39 --> 00:44:41
			Not a single one of them got up.

00:44:43 --> 00:44:45
			Then finally

00:44:47 --> 00:44:49
			he goes back to his tent.

00:44:51 --> 00:44:54
			And he's upset. He's angry.

00:44:55 --> 00:44:56
			And he tells his wife

00:44:58 --> 00:44:59
			on selama Radi Allahu Allah

00:45:00 --> 00:45:00
			Ha,

00:45:02 --> 00:45:03
			what's wrong with them?

00:45:04 --> 00:45:06
			They are destroying themselves

00:45:08 --> 00:45:12
			you know, not obeying the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is your destruction.

00:45:14 --> 00:45:19
			He said to her, I have given them an order and they have disobeyed.

00:45:23 --> 00:45:25
			And so on Salem or the Allahu Ahad her

00:45:27 --> 00:45:28
			being

00:45:30 --> 00:45:35
			the wise woman, meaning the Mother of the Believers,

00:45:36 --> 00:45:42
			that she had wisdom, she was intelligent. She said, O Messenger of Allah,

00:45:43 --> 00:45:44
			they have gone through a lot.

00:45:46 --> 00:45:48
			They have gone through what you can see.

00:45:50 --> 00:45:53
			So don't talk to them about it.

00:45:54 --> 00:45:56
			If you want them to follow your order,

00:45:57 --> 00:46:00
			then go out and do it in front of them yourself.

00:46:03 --> 00:46:05
			So Rasulullah salAllahu alayhi wa sallam went out

00:46:07 --> 00:46:09
			without saying a word to anyone.

00:46:11 --> 00:46:26
			He went, he slaughtered his camels. He sat down, he called someone to come and shave his head. And
when he did that, then everyone immediately rushed to carry out his orders.

00:46:28 --> 00:46:28
			Why?

00:46:30 --> 00:46:33
			They did so. Because now it was obvious

00:46:35 --> 00:46:40
			that there is no way that we are going to complete our camera.

00:46:43 --> 00:46:45
			And so some of them thought maybe

00:46:46 --> 00:46:48
			there's a glimpse of hope maybe

00:46:50 --> 00:46:53
			Allah will change the command.

00:46:54 --> 00:47:04
			Let's wait. Let's see what happens. But now that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has done
it, that's it shattered their hopes. And now

00:47:05 --> 00:47:18
			they all got up, they shave their heads, they slaughter their animals. And they did as they were
told. So you could imagine the sad and depressed state that they were.

00:47:23 --> 00:47:24
			And so

00:47:27 --> 00:47:33
			this is where the events of the Treaty of Hood idea come to an end.

00:47:34 --> 00:47:35
			Next week,

00:47:37 --> 00:47:39
			we will talk about the return to Medina

00:47:41 --> 00:47:42
			and

00:47:43 --> 00:47:44
			the aftermath of

00:47:45 --> 00:47:46
			the tree.

00:47:48 --> 00:47:54
			So before we conclude, let's go through some of the lessons that we learned from tonight. The first
lesson that we learn

00:47:55 --> 00:47:59
			is the status of those who give their BI

00:48:00 --> 00:48:01
			they have to read one.

00:48:03 --> 00:48:14
			Allah subhana who had to edit tells us that these 1400 companions bird the pleasure of Allah for
giving their obedience to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:48:16 --> 00:48:21
			locka Giraldi Allah who I mean Nina is Yuda, you ruined the SHA.

00:48:23 --> 00:48:24
			Allah has become pleased

00:48:27 --> 00:48:34
			with those who gave their Obeah to you, oh Muhammad under the tree.

00:48:37 --> 00:48:45
			And we mentioned how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said afterwards to them, You are the
best people on the face of

00:48:46 --> 00:48:47
			the earth.

00:48:48 --> 00:48:55
			And in another narration, all of those who have pledged their allegiance have had their sins
forgiven for now.

00:48:56 --> 00:49:06
			In a third narration, it says no one from those who gave their pledge under the tree will enter the
Hellfire by the permission of Allah.

00:49:09 --> 00:49:10
			So without a doubt,

00:49:11 --> 00:49:16
			their status among all of the companions is very high.

00:49:18 --> 00:49:20
			And that's why when the scholars they divide

00:49:21 --> 00:49:29
			the different ranks of the companions in terms of their groups, not in terms of individuals,

00:49:30 --> 00:49:40
			in terms of individuals we know and workload and then aroma, etc. But in terms of groups, they
usually mentioned the first group are

00:49:42 --> 00:49:43
			at a better

00:49:44 --> 00:49:47
			album reunion, those who fought in the battle data.

00:49:48 --> 00:49:50
			And then they mentioned the second group as being

00:49:52 --> 00:49:53
			us Harbor shujaa.

00:49:54 --> 00:49:58
			The people who gave their pledge by children one

00:50:01 --> 00:50:02
			The second

00:50:03 --> 00:50:05
			lesson is

00:50:07 --> 00:50:15
			that the Shia, they claim that rumor, a Dallas man had been our firm do not give his base

00:50:18 --> 00:50:22
			on this occasion, and this is one of the points that they used to try to

00:50:23 --> 00:50:28
			attack Earth man radula one. And so there are two main

00:50:29 --> 00:50:36
			accusations that they levied against Earth man. One is that he missed out on

00:50:38 --> 00:50:40
			the battle of burden.

00:50:42 --> 00:50:43
			And

00:50:45 --> 00:50:45
			we mentioned

00:50:47 --> 00:50:57
			then, when we cover the story of the Battle better, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam gave
Earth man instructions to stay back.

00:51:00 --> 00:51:05
			Because his wife, who was the daughter of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was extremely ill.

00:51:07 --> 00:51:10
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told him to stay back to look after.

00:51:11 --> 00:51:17
			In fact, as soon as the Muslims returned, after that battle, she passed away.

00:51:19 --> 00:51:24
			So this is regarding the Battle of the Battle of Belgium, they accused him of not having
participated.

00:51:25 --> 00:51:30
			The second accusation is him not having given his visa

00:51:31 --> 00:51:34
			on this occasion, and

00:51:35 --> 00:51:39
			to respond to this, we say that in reality, if you think about it,

00:51:41 --> 00:51:43
			it's quite a foolish accusation.

00:51:44 --> 00:51:47
			Because what was the whole they are for?

00:51:51 --> 00:51:59
			Why did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam call the companions to give him their pledges? He
was overthrown.

00:52:01 --> 00:52:04
			It was all over man radula, who had

00:52:05 --> 00:52:07
			that there was this rumor that he was killed.

00:52:09 --> 00:52:10
			And secondly,

00:52:12 --> 00:52:16
			secondly, written out on the lot where he did give his pledge.

00:52:17 --> 00:52:24
			The Prophet sallallahu wasallam, when he was taking everyone's hands, and he was taking their

00:52:25 --> 00:52:25
			pledges,

00:52:26 --> 00:52:32
			he took his right hand and he put it in his left hand. And he said, This is for us, man.

00:52:34 --> 00:52:44
			This one is for rich man. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave his pledge on his
behalf.

00:52:45 --> 00:52:46
			And if you think about it,

00:52:47 --> 00:52:48
			that is even better.

00:52:50 --> 00:52:54
			Because the hand of Rasulullah sallallahu himself is far better than the handle.

00:52:56 --> 00:52:57
			The third lesson,

00:52:58 --> 00:53:02
			the ruling on handing over a Muslim to the enemy.

00:53:05 --> 00:53:14
			Someone may use the story of agenda to say that it is permissible to hand over Muslims to the enemy.

00:53:17 --> 00:53:19
			When the enemy comes and asks for

00:53:20 --> 00:53:25
			a Muslim, and they say, We want him we want you to extradite him.

00:53:28 --> 00:53:31
			So what is the ruling of this?

00:53:33 --> 00:53:34
			It's not permissible.

00:53:35 --> 00:53:41
			However, in the case of Abu Jandal, we have to put his case into perspective.

00:53:43 --> 00:53:55
			And so Rasul Allah, he's sort of longer he was sort of only did it because he had a promise from
Allah, that Allah will make a way out for them.

00:53:59 --> 00:54:00
			He told him, go back

00:54:01 --> 00:54:02
			and be patient.

00:54:04 --> 00:54:06
			And trust me, Allah will make a way out for you.

00:54:10 --> 00:54:11
			It was a promise from Allah.

00:54:14 --> 00:54:15
			That's exactly what ended up happening.

00:54:17 --> 00:54:18
			And we're talking about this next week.

00:54:21 --> 00:54:28
			How Abu Jandal along with several other of the Muslims from Makkah were able to escape

00:54:29 --> 00:54:31
			soon after this event.

00:54:34 --> 00:54:38
			We also see from the reaction of the companions that

00:54:40 --> 00:54:40
			this

00:54:43 --> 00:54:46
			incident of handing over agenda was extremely difficult for them.

00:54:47 --> 00:54:59
			For them to see one of their own, taken by the enemy in front of their own eyes, was disastrous. It
was extremely difficult for them with some stuff

00:55:00 --> 00:55:00
			swallow.

00:55:02 --> 00:55:09
			So the default ruling is that it is not permissible to hand over a Muslim to the enemy

00:55:11 --> 00:55:12
			when you know he's going to be

00:55:13 --> 00:55:20
			tortured or persecuted or imprisoned etc. because it goes against the basic,

00:55:21 --> 00:55:23
			the basics of Allah Allah.

00:55:25 --> 00:55:28
			This loyalty that we Muslims have to have for our fellow

00:55:30 --> 00:55:33
			Muslims. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says,

00:55:35 --> 00:55:40
			and Muslim, Muslim, la el de Lima, who Allah

00:55:41 --> 00:55:42
			use Lemo.

00:55:45 --> 00:55:55
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that the Muslim is a brother of every Muslim, he
neither or presses him, nor does he hand over him, to someone who will present.

00:55:58 --> 00:56:00
			Finally, one last lesson that will mention here.

00:56:01 --> 00:56:14
			How do we interpret the inaction of the companions to the orders of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam when they refuse to comply with his orders,

00:56:15 --> 00:56:19
			he told them shave your heads, slaughter your animals

00:56:23 --> 00:56:24
			worthy being

00:56:26 --> 00:56:27
			disobedient

00:56:28 --> 00:56:29
			and stubborn.

00:56:32 --> 00:56:36
			Because they were following their desires, like Al Kitab,

00:56:38 --> 00:56:43
			whenever they were given orders, what would they say? Send me I know also, you know,

00:56:44 --> 00:56:46
			we hear but we disobey.

00:56:48 --> 00:56:50
			And so the answer is no.

00:56:52 --> 00:56:54
			And that's why the Scholars they say,

00:56:55 --> 00:56:56
			the reason why

00:56:59 --> 00:57:00
			the Sahaba were hesitant,

00:57:02 --> 00:57:12
			and why they didn't immediately rush to comply with the orders of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam is, as we mentioned, they were waiting

00:57:13 --> 00:57:24
			in hope for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam to receive some rare revelation that would
somehow change the situation at hand. And maybe there is a glimpse of hope

00:57:26 --> 00:57:28
			that we might be able to enter Mecca.

00:57:31 --> 00:57:37
			And so this shows you how eager they were to see the kava and to complete their Ramadan.

00:57:38 --> 00:57:39
			So what this proves

00:57:41 --> 00:57:49
			is that this was the reason for them not complying with the orders of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam.

00:57:53 --> 00:57:56
			And what proves that this is the reason is that in the end,

00:57:58 --> 00:58:00
			when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did it himself.

00:58:02 --> 00:58:03
			they complied.

00:58:04 --> 00:58:11
			In the end, they complied. Why? Because when they saw him doing it, they realized, as we mentioned,
they realize that

00:58:12 --> 00:58:13
			that's it.

00:58:15 --> 00:58:17
			We are definitely not going into Mecca.

00:58:18 --> 00:58:20
			You know, their hopes were shattered now.

00:58:21 --> 00:58:25
			They knew that, you know, there's no going back.

00:58:26 --> 00:58:28
			There's no way for us to enter Mecca.

00:58:31 --> 00:58:37
			We are definitely going back to Medina. And there won't be any change in the decision of all.

00:58:41 --> 00:58:45
			And so, we will continue next weekend wrap up

00:58:46 --> 00:59:05
			the story of Saudi Arabia next week in sha Allah Allah Subhana Allah will now be handed a shadow
